The thing I love about Raine’s look at Harpy Eda is that throughout their past relationship Eda was desperately trying to hide the owl beast from them, and that ultimately caused them to break up. But now that Eda has control of her owl beast (and the fact that its the literal apocalypse), she decides to go Harpy mode in front of Raine. I survived five years of grueling work and all I got was this lousy doctorate

Hi fam! Hooooly shit, I missed the blue hellsite, and discord, and fandom (I didn't miss Ao3 though, because there has not been a day in my life since 2014 I didn't use it) and just caring about stupid imaginary characters. I'm still a bit loopy and I sleep like 16 hours a day, but the dissertation is handed in and is out of my hands. I'll need to defend it at some point later in, probably, summer. But I can now finally breathe again!

In case anyone wanted to know: I did my PhD in zoology ( I study seals!!! I have the best images in my presentations! :3)

Not to be cranky on main, but can we maybe start crediting not only artists who draw and paint, but also all other artists, like gif makers and photographers as well?

The amount of stolen gifs and photos/videos with hundreds and hundreds of notes is infuriating.

Gifs don't just appear. Someone is sitting down for hours to choose a moment, to crop and clean it up, to make them look pretty. Only for people to download the gif and slap it somewhere without asking or crediting. Same with photos and videos.. Just because someone posts something online it does not mean that everyone can just do whatever they want with it (and no, slapping some tiktok effect on a video does not mean it is your video now). If you don't want to do this out of respect for the artists, then do it for other fans. Often I see a cool gif/video/photo and want more, want to check out the source and dive into their work. But i can't when people just say "lol found it on pinterest xoxo".

Please respect the people who work so hard to provide us with the good stuff, thank you.

ok i have more you know how the only 5 chilaios fics on ao3 rn are all from chilchuck's pov well what about how laios feels about chilchuck huh. i think that laios does admire and respect chil personally like he compliments him so genuinely when he pulls off impressive feats (like defeating a mimic by himself or figuring out that those fucked up dungeon frogs' skin could protect them) i think in my sick fucked up little head that laios finds those aspects of chilchuck (outsmarting a monster/learning how to use parts of it for their own advantage) soooo alluring i would read a fic all about how laios realizes he wants to make out sloppy style with chil after those moments i think every time after that they have an encounter with a different monster he is looking intently at chilchuck almost like hes waiting for him to do something impressive yet again like oh nooooo theres a mimic in that other room what do you think we should do chilchuck meanwhile chil is like ??? why are you asking me?? you can literally kill them yourself just fine? and hes like yeah but. i wanna see *you* do it.
