good thing my incredible doctor was genuinely shocked and appalled at the lack of tests ive gotten and ordered me to be tested for various issues

Sometimes, I'm sad about the hobbies I have abandoned or have been too intimidated to pick up. But... what good is it, to just beat myself up over that? My bass is sitting in the corner, patiently waiting, and so is everything else. My life isn't over, and I've got nothing to answer to. I'm wading through a sea of time, and I'll pick up the seashells that interest me, and it's okay to put one back in the sand. The current's waves will bring it back to me if that is to be destiny. I can not hate myself into productivity, so I must swim on.

I think the same can apply to anybody. It's okay if you have dropped something, such as a hobby or passion. Human beings are like that sometimes, it isn't reasonable for you to beat yourself into submission. You, too, can not hate yourself into being a well-rounded person. You must cultivate it like you would a garden - with patience, time, and care.

Also the actual actors are finding their footings with each other as each episodes go by so there's a naturally progression happening both on and off screen. I wonder why so many people are so bothered by show-percabeth especially if they're fans of the books. This couple is the IT couple. They are hyped. Their story, what they do and go through for each other is legendary lmao so what exactly is the real issue? Do you not want parallels to happen? Seeds planted, sOME smiling??? finally found a better way to word my issues with art improvement and thats that obviously art with no ref is/can be a little incorrect and misguided, there are Mistakes when you're just going off of memory.

But when i do studies my art becomes too Rigid because my brain remembers the studies and yells at me if i dont proportion things "correctly" (+ also ends up Bad due to overworking to "Fix" it)...

Its hawrd to find that balance, + have it be the Loose and Fun art that comes before reminding self what something is "supposed to look like". I feel my stuff only exists between extreme ends of sloppy and rigid bc i cant find the balance

Ive seen a few very old drawings from before I started using refs more often and they almost look Better. They dont look 100% Right but they look Good. Now I overwork everything bc it doesnt look Right and it still ends up not looking Right or Good.

HMMM. so the thing about throuple/quartet dynamics is imo, that adding more people to a dynamic is not an addition problem as much as it is like. algebra. yknow. or calculus. w/e. Its not just adding a person, its interplay between all parties involved and their individual and combined dynamics. So while this is probably meant lightheartedly, unfortunately, I ended up thinking extensively about logistics and the how of this, since IMO that changes what Disaster!Amanda looks like and I really want it to feel. Legit. or as legit as RPF gets lmfao.

as always, this is all about RPF amanda, not real amanda, and this is specifically about like, my version of rpf amanda.

in general I think the tricky thing about pining Amanda is that she strikes me as someone to, upon realizing her emotions, either actually have a direct, adult conversation with the person about it, or actively go "oh no". and then do everything in her power to lock that shit down.

So. Hypothetical Amanda might be less of a disaster if she had similar feelings about multiple people simultaneously, over time. I think a key part to my version of disaster!amanda is her being caught off guard, acting in a panic, and then the shitshow that spirals out from that + doubling down. Amanda developing feelings for the three of them over time without confessing to anyone, i think means by the time we hit the full quartet, Amanda would have either tried to do something about communicating, or have somewhat of a handle on how to deal with her feelings solo. (Which could be a great angst thing! But maybe less comedic by that point.)

So in a scenario where Amanda is the only one really out of the loop... hmmm. Tricky for me to immediately come up with the setup. It might need to be something similar to my S&B Courtmangela setup in which the three (Court Arasha Angela) get close and Amanda is like. Fine about it. (Smosh Mouth FOMO tattoo joke style but dialed up x5). And she's flirting with them to deal with it, and they're flirting back, and it just. Keeps escalating. I think there needs to be an element of like, maybe Amanda not realizing she likes them all that way, just knowing she's feeling kind of. Left behind. And she's flirting with them, and they flirt back, and lets be real I think Amanda is the type where if you flirt with her as a bit she Will Double Down, so it would just Keep Going. I think the angst dial is dependent on how much Amanda recognizes her feelings- either she Knows and she's going to hide it from them or die trying (devastating), or she really Doesnt Realize until it culminates in a deeply funny way. Someone is in a kiss with tongue. Shayne is losing his mind because his friend is. A fool. <3

(Angst central: Amanda starts almost exclusively flirting with them when interacting instead of holding proper conversations bc she feels. bad. and is deflecting. Courtney and Angela especially start noticing because hey. They arent clueless. What the fuck. That sucks. Maybe Arasha has to be the one to actually talk to her about it BC Courtmangela have more deeply established ties that are in further jeopardy.............)

OPTIONALLY. if the feelings towards everyone differ drastically/change over time, then it brings back in that fun element of "oh shit oh god oh fuck".

Knowing she would probably try to communicate like an adult, I think there's a lot of fun with the disaster!Amanda in this universe being Amanda not realizing her own additional feelings until comedically late/after other people have already figured it out bc she just doesn't register it as that/is misreading her own emotions/it happens WHILE SHES ALREADY dating one or two of them.

(And again, critically, flirting is happening through all this but not everyone is formally in a relationship.)

My initial instinct about this was "Amangela Courtrasha first", and then the merge. I think a hilarious route for that would be your standard Amangela story, then that all gets sorted. And some time into the relationship, Angela has figured out Amanda's feelings (and her own) towards Courtney and Arasha. + that the flirting that keeps happening is mutual. And so we get:

Angela, loves Amanda (and courtrasha), has slowly realized that Amanda Does Not Realize Her Feelings: 'and you love them too, so-'

Amanda (was staunchly in denial, thought she was safe after figuring out her feelings towards Angela): I WHAT. what. oh shit. THATS what that is???

For max comedy we could have Courtney assuming that Amanda DOES know and so is unbothered by Amanda and Angela acting... well........ wellll...... 👀 and Amanda feels. maybe strange about watching Courtney and Arasha together, not bad but. Strange. (Esp because Amanda has also been looking at Arasha more but maybe she doesnt admit that.) She talks to Court and Courtney compares it to her and Ang and Amanda is okay with them all being- equal, right? (they mean dating but that is lost in the convo). OBSESSED with the use of fire in this episode and the way it both unites and separates Obi-Wan and Vader, because it’s their past, it’s the breaking of everything they were, it’s the moment that literally and figuratively burns away any chance Anakin has at regaining the life he abandoned, and now Vader is forcing Obi-Wan through that—Vader wants Obi-Wan to suffer as he has suffered and to lose as he has lost. He wants Obi-Wan to hurt, to break, to forget what he was as Anakin has forgotten but in doing so, in using fire, Vader reveals that he hasn’t forgotten who he was. The tragedy of Mustafar is not the burning, it’s the loss. The tragedy of Mustafar is Anakin’s final rejection of everyone who loved him. When Anakin forces Obi-Wan into flame, he’s not just replicating the injury, he’s trying to replicate the result. He wants Obi-Wan to hate him. He wants Obi-Wan to reject everything he was. He wants Obi-Wan to forget the before and think only on the misery of the present. If Obi-Wan forgets, then he can forget as well. But the fire separates them! The fire saves Obi-Wan! It’s a boundary again, this time not between before and after, but between Vader (who is the Empire) and Obi-Wan (who is the Jedi). It’s the same split as Mustafar, played out again in a different key. Giants: I truly believe Patrick Bailey is so goofy in private that he doesn't know shit about fuck but he IS good in a crisis, so he cheerfully kisses the hell out of Brett Wisely when Brett begs him to play along to get this asshole off his back. (ig we're going rookies tonight.) conversely Joc Pederson would say fuck no bc I don't trust him and also the Rogers twins would be too confused to play along appropriately but their corpse-like pallor and dead-eyed stares would get the job done just the same. I love them. Anyway I chose Brett Wisely for A bc sometimes he reminds me of a nervous purse dog

Sharks: this was so hard bc I don't actually know who is on the Sharks...I think Oskar Lindblom is still a Shark?? and I think he would be in a club and some guys would get too weird about him AND! controversial opinion, I think he would turn to Mario Ferraro for help bc no one's fucking with a guy with no teeth even if that guy reviews bagels on Youtube. Mario doesn't kiss him but he very possessively puts an arm around Oskar and smiles with zero teeth. Also Vlasic would say no to kissing, but he does start talking so loudly about water filtration and body decomposition that the guys who were getting too wild with Oskar get freaked out and leave them alone. Oskar is A because he is very pretty and often looks startled

Cuda: Daniil Gushchin needs to make his ex jealous...thanks for being my guy, tall Russian guy with a sweet smile <3 Nikolai Knyzhov is not his guy, he does not want this, his sexuality crisis is private and personal, but when a feral little man is climbing him like a tree, what is he going to do honestly. This guy seems like he might bite hard enough to draw blood if Nikolai drops him?? Guess he's gotta kiss him. This is a crossover bc I just looked at the Cuda roster and Kny isn't listed however it's important to me that Goosh and Kny kiss. Also I think Shakir Mukhamadullin would be so startled he would say no but then he would feel really bad and buy Goosh a drink so the ex gets jealous in the end anyway. I also got in at the ground floor of the Artem Guryev hype machine last year at the rookie tournament and I'm determined to get everybody on fuckin board this year now that he's with the team for real, so I'm saying he doesn't say yes to kissing but he does IMMEDIATELY start swinging, which is not what Goosh wanted, but is, in some ways, even better.
