Dp X Injustice AU's
So, we have seen the frankly insane about of Dp x Dc AU's that have been spawned over the years. But I never really see any Injustice AU's
And then I thought, which Dp x Dc AU would you actually use for an Injustice AU?
Let me give some examples:
Justice League Member Danny: Danny is a part of the Justice League by the time Superman goes insane. He decides to step in when Shazam is nearly killed by Superman, but gets hurt himself in the process and is thrown in jail. This causes some of Superman's supporters to doubt him, since Danny is just a 16 yr old kid and Clark nearly killed him.
Danny is sill a Solo Hero: Danny is still just a Solo Hero from Amity Park in this. When Superman takes over the world, he goes to Amity to try and recruit Phantom. Danny refuses, and they butt heads. Danny eventually promises that he will continue to just act as a small time Vigilante in return for not joining Batman's side. This changes years later, when Superman is responsible for the death of Jazz Fenton.
Danny is a "Villain": Danny is seen as a Villain because he is a Ghost. At least, that's what the outside world thinks, but the situation in Amity is different. Danny has been seen as a Hero for years now, it's just the rest of the world that doesn't want to accept that fact. So when Superman takes over the world, and tries to execute every Villain, he goes after Phantom. Only for the Entire Town to try and stop him.
@little-pondhead Everlasting Trio Villain AU: So, take Little Pondhead's Villain AU and put it in the Injustice Universe. Danny can be the insane megalomaniac Villain he always wanted to be and not feel guilty because this is a Dictatorship. (Although it does remind him of Dan before his parole). He just has fun, messing with Superman, building insane crazy inventions, messing with Superman, enacting fun Villain plots, messing with Superman, and of course messing with Superman. Meanwhile Superman is just having a horrible time because there is just this random Villain, doesn't even seem to have powers, and he Just. Can't. Catch Him! Batman is looking for Fenton to recruit, meanwhile Fenton is literally here to Not be a Hero. It gets even worse when he brings in his Friends and Ellie.
Danny is the Ghost King: Danny is the Ghost King by now, and Batman's side try to Summon Him to deal with Superman during the whole "Super Pills" event. He shows up just in time to save Green Arrow, but isn't trong enough to kill Superman. He himself gets extremely injured in the process and gets forcibly summoned back to the Ghost Zone to be healed. Now the entire Dimension is gearing up to attack the Living World as revenge for their King being so hurt.
Old Man Danny AU: My own AU. Danny is still an Old Man just living in Gotham when Superman takes over. At one of his rally's to try and garner support and stop the rebellions, Danny stands up in the middle of the crowd and calls him out on all his Bullshit. This causes the whole crowd to start yelling at Superman, which in turn causes Superman to have a Homelander Moment. He kills Danny, who just laughs as he falls to the floor, and causes a riot. What Superman doesn't know, is that Danny was slated to ascend to Godhood at the moment of his Death, so now he has a God of Death chasing him to fulfill his "need to be avenged" urges (its like hunger pangs for ghosts)
Danny as a Medium: Danny is a Traveling Ghost Speaker, like the guy you pay $5 to pretend to speak to your dead loved ones, but he can actually speak to them. Superman is patrolling the world, just making the rounds now that he had conquered the Earth, and comes across Danny's Tent. He stops by in curiosity and asks to speak to his dead Wife. Danny asks if he really wants to put himself through that, but Superman insists. So Danny, instead of just speaking for the Ghost like normal, actually Summons Lois Lanes Ghost to talk to Superman. They have a heartfelt conversation about how it wasn't his fault, and how he shouldn't blame himself, but eventually they get to the topic of Clark talking over the world. She isn't proud, but understands if this is what it takes for him to be happy. She leaves, and Superman is left finally second-guessing himself for the first time in years. Because it doesn't make him happy. (*ahem* Danny still wants to be payed, soooo......)

Post by @morgangalaxy43 inspired this and my thoughts just ran
No way, I see the vision and it’s fucking immaculate. Let older Jon get stuck in the universe and have to deal with Evil Superman but HIS actual dad whos his worst fear of using his powers for evil and the catalyst for that WAS LOSING JON in the first place, so Superman loses his shit over meeting Jon because if he’s in that world he cannot grieve right. Jon who feels responsible for Damian tries his hardest to keep Damian from being this worlds Damian and being like HIS Damian. Damian in that world gets attached to the idea of being better and LEACHES off of Jon’s softness and care for him that’s being inflicted on him but for someone entirely different.
And when he unlocks his repressed emotions for his Damian before his years of torture he realizes that he likes the idea of Damian in his entirety being so accessible to him. When he spends so much time in that universe the lines blur… once he’s made twisted connections here they’re still connections and will hurt once he severs the ties…
It gets foggy… Is Earth Prime is home… Is Earth-3 his home? Or is the Injustice universe his home? Why doesn’t he just stay for a week or two and it wouldn’t hurt if those weeks eventually turned into years as well… His Damian and Father can barely stand to look at him nowadays anyway, why doesn’t he stay here where everyone can’t look away from him. Let him fill that void with obsession and care and let Jon feed off of Damian like Damian feeds off of him until it eventually destroys them.

Injustice AU
I really want to see a short story where Billy is transported to the Injustice universe after his alternate version of Captain Marvel has already been killed and must find a way to return home while navigating the differences in this alternate reality, helping to stop Superman, and protecting Fawcett City. Like can you imagine how crazy it would be to see your own burial then pretend to be the revised version of your alternate self to go into a war. While also facing the idea that the person you idolize for years has become an evil dictator and is the same person who murdered you. Billy having to face his alternate foster family who just lost their son/brother while looking and acting exactly like them (If he had a foster family). Also having to face the scary fact that despite his powers he can get hurt or worse killed, still choosing to protect the world despite the fact it's not his because it's the right thing to do. With a happy ending, of course!

Injustice AU
Kara and Lena have been monitoring the looming situation with Superman carefully. They know the news is heavily skewed, into the realm of state propaganda, but they can see through the noise to the objective truth behind it-- Kara's cousin is on a dangerous path.
Even so, they never expected that his violence would reach them in Smallville.
The annual corn festival is a favorite event of their daughter's. They've gone every year since her birth, and every year Lori beams, excited by the people and balloons and street stalls. The parade is the highlight of her day, especially the corn princess who drives by in the back of a corvette.
It's supposed to be fun-- a break from the isolation of their small farm. A chance to connect with their neigbors in town, and indulge in funnel cake and caramel apples.
Not this year.
This year, Kara plans to meet up with Lena and Lori in town once she's done at the feed store. She's only just pulled up and parked on Maple when she hears an explosion from the direction of Main Street, and the cacophony of screams that follows.
Heart in her throat, Kara breaks into a run, casting her hearing wide in search of her wife and daughter.
"Mommy!"
There. In an instant Kara is at her daughter's side, who's clinging tearfully to Lena's hand, both of them smudged with dust from the rubble.
"It's okay," Kara murmurs, scooping Lori into her arms. In the space of a heartbeat she's scanned for injuries and found none, and cast her gaze to Lena, who is a different story.
One of the pillars in front of the bank has collapsed onto Lena's legs, trapping her beneath. Part of the roof has crumbled down as well, adding its weight to pin Lena to the sidewalk.
Kara watches her wife cough, and thanks Rao for the sign of life. Kneeling, she lets Lori stand on her own feet and brushes the tears from the girl's cheeks.
"Lori, honey, I need you to stay right here." She tunes out the sounds of a continued battle, moving away from the city as she speaks. Still, screams echo throughout the town, proof of the devastation already wrought. "I have to help your mom, okay? Stay right here."
Lori nods. "Okay, Mama."
With a nod, Kara turns to her wife, giving Lena's hand a squeeze. Dusty eyes blink up at her, focusing blearily for just a moment before nodding. She knows what comes next.
Kara hooks her fingers under the pillar and lifts, dipping into the power she's kept so tightly controlled since she landed on Earth twenty years ago. As soon as it lifts, Lena cries out in pain, muted into a moan as she tries to contain her agony. Even as she does, she struggles to pull herself clear, dragging herself back with her arms until Kara shifts the pillar to one hand and reaches out to help with the other.
As soon as Lena is clear of the last of it Kara lets the pillar slam back to the ground. Gathering wife and daughter in her arms she speeds them all to the grassy area behind the bank, where she then pauses to scan Lena to judge the damage.
What she finds is a broken femur. No-- not broken. Shattered.
"Kara..."
Kara looks up to meet Lena's gaze. Her wife's features are pale with shock, but her eyes carry heavy meaning they're both all too conscious of: Kara cannot afford to stay out of the fight any longer. Looking at Lena and Lori, Kara knows in her bones she's remained hidden too long already.
With a nod, Kara leans in to press a kiss to each of their foreheads.
"I'll be back."
Lena cradles Lori close.
"Come back to us."
Not be careful. Not stay safe. Kara knows that Kara will need to abandon all caution to have a hope of stopping her cousin. Lena knows this as well.
Just stay alive.
"I promise."
Kara stands, taking one step back, then another. With one last look to her family, Kara takes a deep breath to steel herself. Then she lifts her arms, and blasts into the air, speeding like a missile to where Superman has already turned on his friends.
She grits her jaw.
It's time to end this.

Summary:
Bruce wakes up with a gasp, his throat clicking loudly in the silence of his room as his throat opens and closes around...well, nothing really. The only thing that is maybe in the way is his spit, which his throat is desperately trying to decide whether to swallow down or not swallow down.
The billionaire manages to calm himself down from the panicked feelings he suddenly felt, desperately trying to ignore them as he angrily wipes at his sweaty forehead. Bruce has been feeling anxious lately and it's annoying him, he can't freaking concentrate on his work and family when all his mind is focused on doing is screaming at him in fear that something is wrong, but what?
(If anyone here stops by to read my story on AO3, you are much appreciated! You darlings stay safe, happy, healthy and of course lovely as always. 💛)

Dynasty of frauds by msOdds ( @batsimph )
“You can become my mate, or I can put you under Brainiac’s brain control device again. What is it going to be, Bruce?”Kandor’s restoration brings about conspiracies that Kal has neither patience nor finesse for. He needs an ally, and Bruce, despite his many past betrayals, happens to be perfect for the job.(post Injustice 2, Absolute power ending). Ongoing, 6k words.
*** ** * ** ***
Chap 2:
Bruce glowered at him. “Has Diana told you about the Trick at Mekone , Kal? Because of a feud with Prometheus, Zeus hid fire from mortals, leaving them cold and shivering at night. Surely mankind would perish - because fire was the first discovery that separated us from animals.” “Are you comparing me to a god, Bruce?” Kal chuckled. “A greedy and petty one, yes.” [...] Kal’s voice cut through the cheers, the music and the thrum of blood in his ears. “Do you see yourself as Prometheus, Bruce?” [...] They faced each other again, chest to chest, swaying lazily to the music. It wasn’t any of the dances that Bruce had taught the Alpha, or any of the dances that he recognized, period. Regardless, he trusted Kal to lead, and trusted himself to improvise as he went. Just like the old days. “How did that story end?” Kal ruined the moment with a question. His hand returned to the small of the human’s back, applying enough pressure to make him anxious, although not enough to hurt him. “Prometheus was chained to a rock, and an eagle came and ate part of his liver. Every day, for the rest of eternity, as per order of the ‘greedy and petty’ god.”

Injustice endings. So this is heavily based on Injustice Gods Among Us but with Marvel characters. So this is what if endings with a arcade tower and Evil Steve being the final boss. All from the characters point of view. Most are not canonical and will feature OCs!!!!
@swifteforeverandalways @axelwolf8109 @greek-freak101 @taechnology777
Steve: Fighting my doppelganger scared me, the fear that one bad day could turn me into a monster. So when I returned to my Earth (1386), I convinced the Avengers, Justice League, Fantastic Five, and X-Men to set up fail-safes if I ever became unhinged. I also told James to run and never look back if the time came. The last thing I want is for my son to get hurt. Or worse....

What's worse, torture or death?
TimKon, Injustice AU, Prisoner of War, Captive Tim, Clone Kon-El, Angst, Hurt Tim, Manhandling, Rough Treatment.
Summary: Tim didn’t know what was in store for him when he got captured by the enemy. He was prepared for something painful or perhaps even death, however he hadn’t been prepared for the enemy’s mysterious clone to take a particular interest in him. Perhaps death would be a better option than being a plaything of the enemy.
A/N: This is a canon divergence AU of the Injustice Universe. For those of you who don't know, the Injustice Universe is the one when the Joker tricked Superman into killing Lois and their unborn son.
Enjoy! :D
Knowing it’s futile, although he does it anyway, Tim tries to dig his heels into the ground to stop himself from getting dragged any further. All that happens is his feet scraping along the ground uselessly without any purchase. Above him his hands are caught in an unrelenting grip that threatens to break his wrists, he’s tried tugging his hands free but he's no match for the strength that has him bound.
As he’s being dragged along the floor like a sack of potatoes Tim’s mind is reeling with all kinds of scenarios that could happen to him now. He tried to escape and ultimately ended up getting caught. He’d be lucky if he wasn’t killed on the spot once they reached their destination, then again maybe death would be the merciful route, the other option is he’ll be tortured to an inch of his life and then more.
For a moment the dragging stops and Tim quickly finds out it’s because they’re passing through a door. Underneath him the ground goes from hard concrete to smooth sheet vinyl, not that it makes much difference, the change doesn’t help Tim break out of the grip he’s trapped in. They enter what Tim assumes is a conference room, from what he could see there are monitors scattered along several different walls, various pieces of papers scattered around all pinned up covered in notes, chairs and desks are hastily put together. Tim takes a guess that there’s a main table behind him, but he can’t see due to his positioning, that also must be where who they’re seeing is currently at because that’s where the voices are coming from.
“Sorry to interrupt,” says his captor, her words contradict her tone because she doesn’t sound sorry at all, “but your pet tried to run away. I stopped him so you’re welcome.”
Tim would have protested at the insult but he was too busy being forced to the ground on his stomach in order to do so. He tries to push himself up onto his knees so he could have at least some dignity but he doesn’t get very far before he’s stopped by a foot slamming into his back which forces him down to the ground and leaves him winded and gasping for air.
He doesn’t even get a chance to recover. Just as his lungs on longer feel like they’re on fire, the foot on his back digs deeper and Tim grits his teeth to stop himself from crying out as he feels their heel digging into his spine, if they apply any more pressure then they’ll end up breaking it.
“You really should keep an eye on your pets before they run free, or at least put them on a leash.” The voice above him spits out.
“Enough.”
The new voice instantly sends chills through Tim's body causing him to freeze on the spot and Tim suddenly feels too terrified to even twitch. The voice it belongs to a man Tim once knew but no longer recognises. Where it was once filled with warmth and carefree light heartiness, the voice is now cold, ruthless and detached. Gone is Clark Kent, the big-blue boy scout, and in place is the tyrant High Councillor of Earth Twenty Two.
After the echoes of his voice fade away the room they’re in goes deathly silent. On the floor Tim holds his breath anticipating what’s going to happen next. After several beats, and Tim could easily count them considering how hard his heart is pounding inside his chest, footsteps could be heard approaching Tim and his captor.
“Why do you even want him around? He’s useless. Nothing more than a bug to clean up once it’s squashed.” His captor continues to voice her dislike of him to the man with all the power despite his warnings.
“That’s where you are wrong.”
Tim sucks in a sharp breath when Clark’s – or Kal-El rather, because this man is no longer Clark –sounds far closer than he did before. The footsteps come to a stop right beside Tim and he braces himself for whatever is about to occur. The next events all happen in such quick succession that he doesn’t get a chance to process it. One moment he’s pinned to the ground with a foot on his back and in the next he's being hauled off the floor and held suspended in the air by a hand clamped around his throat.
Despite his instincts telling him to do so Tim doesn’t fight the hold, instead he grasps onto the wrist of the hand holding him hostage and stares into the dead eyes of the man he once thought of like an uncle. The hand clamped around his throat is solid and Tim is just about managing to breathe, if Kal-El applies any more pressure then he knows he’ll pass out, any more than that then he’ll be dead in seconds. It wouldn’t be the first neck Kal-El has broken.
“This one is worth keeping.” Kal-El states looking at him like he’s an unusual exhibit. “I also haven’t had a chance to have a chat with him yet. He can still prove to be valuable.”
“How?” Comes the question from his previous captor. She no longer sounds annoyed but rather bored now instead. “He’s a measly human. There’s nothing special about him.”
Kal-El is still studying him and its nerving Tim right down to his core. “He doesn’t have any special abilities no, but out of Batman’s brood he is without a doubt one of the most intelligent. If there’s anyone with intel about what the Insurgents are up to it’ll be him.”
A scoff sounds out from beyond Kal-El that was surprisingly not made by his captor. As Kal-El shifts his position to look in the direction where the scoff came from, Tim moves with him and for the first time Tim sees who else is in the room with them.
As soon as he realises who made the noise Tim feels rage stir inside him. Any fear he had been feeling when faced with Kal-El is gone in an instant with only one look at this person.
Damian Wayne stands off to the side looking as arrogant as ever. He’s taller than when Tim last saw him, he’s filled out more and has longer hair, he’s also dressed in a different suit which resembles his late brother’s Nightwing’s get up. That is what really riles Tim up, Damian has absolutely no rights to that suit or name.
Kal-El finally looks away from Tim and glances over at Damian. “You have something to say?”
Damian doesn’t seem bothered by the man’s cold demeanour. He scoffs again and glares at Tim still locked in Kal-El’s hold. “You are wrong in saying Drake is the most intelligent. He’s always been the weakest out of us. You would be better off if it was Todd instead of Drake.”
Despite himself Tim isn’t able to control the guttural snarl that comes from his throat. “Stronger than you brat.” He snaps.
He never forgave Damian for what he did years ago, there was what happened to Dick and then there was everything that followed afterwards. They always hated one another, their introduction never went well to begin with, but this is a whole new level of hatred now.
Damian growls and he draws his battle staff. “Between the two of us I would put you down in a matter of seconds.”
“You fucking wish.” Tim challenges. He knows he shouldn’t be engaging with him, especially in his vulnerable position in that moment because after all Kal-El’s hand is still around his throat but the man in question seems rather amused by their trash talk and Tim honestly has no idea on how to interpret that.
“As interesting as that would be. We don’t have time for childish games.” Kal-El states, bringing the room’s attention back onto him. He turns back to Tim, narrowing his eyes suspiciously at him. “For now we’ll keep him in one of the containment units until I get the chance to… talk to him.”
Tim knows that by ‘talk’ he actually means ‘torture’. Perhaps he could convince the man to let him and Damian fight instead? He likes those odds better.
“May I remind you he just escaped those cells.” Kara calls from behind him. She too was once a person he knew well, she had bene good friends with Steph before it all went ape shit. Kara had been the one to catch him in the act and dragged him here. “I’ll be happy to make sure he won’t do it again. I could break his legs? What about his spine, that’ll be fun to snap. I wonder how many nerves I can sever until he passes out in pain.”
Tim feels his stomach drop. He really doesn’t like the sound of that. What’s worse is that in front of him Kal-El seems to be considering Kara’s words. The man is silent for several moments however before he gets the chance to speak a new voice is speaking up, gaining the attention of everyone else in the room.
“No.” They state firmly clearly. “I don’t want any harm happening to him.”
Kal-El turns, therefore Tim does as well, to face the interrupter. “And why’s that. Do you have something else in mind?”
The person they now face is an exact replica of Kal-El himself, he’s just slightly smaller and looks a little younger. Tim deducts that this must be Kon-El, the Clone of Superman. This is someone the Insurgency has heard so much about but yet he remains to be almost a ghost. He had been a creation of Luthor’s at the same time of Bizarro, Kon-El had been a successful duplicate of the High Councillor where Bizzarro had not been. Before his death Luthor had mentioned about Kon-El but they never got around to discussing him in detail and then with Luthor’s death the mystery of the clone remained unsolved.
Tim glances at the clone to see him watching him back, the piercing look Kon-El is currently sending him sends shivers down his spine, it makes him feel uneasy being looked at like he’s some sort of prey ready to be hunted.
The clone looks away to face Kal-El. “I offer myself to watch over him, however I do not want any harm to come to him.” As he says it he sends Damian who is stood to his left a pointed glare.
This seems to genuinely surprise Kal-El, not that the man shows it but Tim sees the slightest flicker in his eyes as he watches Kon-El. “Why?”
“This human interests me…” Kon-El trails off without further explanation.
Kal-El considers this for a moment before he makes a decision. “Very well.” He concludes, and Tim hates the fact they’re talking about him like he’s a piece of property being traded between two buyers. “You can have him and do as you please. However as soon as I require him, you give him over with no hesitation. He is still a bargaining chip I have against Batman.”
With that Kal-El finally releases him. Not expecting the action Tim can’t catch himself once he hits the floor and his legs instantly crumple underneath him. He lands on his knees and side although can’t quite make himself care as he’s gasping in lungful’s of air. His throat feels like it’s on fire and he can already feel where it’s tender on the skin, he knows bruising would have already developed and is only going to get worse in the next day or two (if he lives that long).
Tim is snapped back to the present when new footsteps approach him. Now free to do so Tim looks up and watches wearily as Kon-El advances towards him, watching how he doesn’t stop until he’s directly in front of Tim leering over him from his standing position. The Kryptonian is silent as he watches Tim clearly observing his beaten form sprawled out on the floor, Tim figures Kon-El is probably going through his options to what he wants to do to him. A terrifying thought honestly as the options are endless.
From his position on the floor Tim does his best to hold Kon-El’s unwavering gaze for as long as possible, even though he’s beaten and submissively on the ground he wants to show defiance as much possible, however the staring becomes too much and Tim looks away first choosing to look down at the floor instead. He’s already beaten so what's another defeat at this point? Tim hates that he feels like this, how inside his own mind he’s conflicted between giving up and fighting back. It’s not in his nature to submit however in this situation he doesn’t see a way out. Despite his skill set he’s severely outpowered and any attempts at a fight will just end quickly and painfully for him, his attempts at escape proved futile so what else does he have at this point?
Tim’s broken out of his thoughts abruptly when he feels his head get jerked to the side by a hand tightly cupping his jaw. Tim is forced to meet the hard gaze of Kon-El who is now crouched in front of him looking irritated, the Kryptonian’s grip on his jaw is relentless and Tim feels his fingers digging harshly into the skin of his cheeks. When Tim tries to escape the grip Kon-El only holds on tighter and when Tim attempts to knock his hand away the Kryptonian effortlessly grabs both of Tim’s wrists with his free hand and holds them hostage. Tim if effectively pinned where he’s sat on the floor by the sheer strength of Kon-El’s hold on him.
His struggles seem to amuse Kon-El because he’s suddenly grinning at Tim. “We’re going to have fun together aren’t we?” He says quietly. Tim doesn’t supply the guy with an answer although he’s pretty sure it was rhetorical anyway.
Kon-El releases his grip on Tim’s jaw but much to his chagrin the Kryptonian starts trailing his fingers across Tim’s face instead. Tenderly he strokes his cheek, lips and neck as if caressing a lover and the actions sends shivers down Tim’s body. His administrations end when he reaches up and threads his fingers through Tim’s hair, he grips tightly onto his locks before yanking Tim's head back until he’s looking up with his bruised throat stretched out and exposed. Before he could stop it Tim lets out a pained gasp from the pull and with his hands still pinned in Kon-El’s Tim is hopeless against the action.
The Kryptonian only holds him in that position for a few moments which Tim is grateful for. When he lets go of his hair he also releases his hands as he stands up. Kon-El turns and has another exchange with Kal-El however Tim misses it because he's too busy recovering from all the manhandling going on, his wrists are sore, his throat feels like it’s on fire, his jaw aches and overall Tim feels so far out of his element he doesn’t know what to do. God knows what Kon-El has planned for him.
Kon-El’s attention is soon turned back on Tim and before he could react Tim’s arm is grabbed and he's hauled up onto his feet. To begin with Tim is unsteady on his feet, it takes several steps until he's shakily able to walk and if it wasn’t for the grip on his bicep he would have definitely fallen down. Tim is marched alongside Kon, who has hold of him, and he’s being lead out of the conference room and down new corridors he hasn’t been before.
For the first time in a while Tim finds his voice. “What do you want from me?”
Kon-El gives him nothing more than a disinterested side glance as they turn a corner. “You’ll find out soon enough.”
That’s the only answer he gives Tim. It does absolutely nothing to help settle him on the inside, those endless of options he thought about earlier are all still on the table. Tim has no idea on what's about to happen to him and that unknowing sends chills down his spine. He wonders if Kon is just leading him to his death, or perhaps he’s leading him to a torture chamber and then he’ll be killed. Unfortunately he's just going to have to wait and see.

Injustice AU with Regime!Jon and Insurgence!Damian
Hey, hey, hey! Remember when I said I was going to have this soon? Hehehehehe, yep, life happened.
IMPORTANT: At the end of this episode there is a "strong" scene, it doesn't escalate to anything but please be careful if you have any trigger
Thank you so much for taking the time to ask me about the chapter though, I'm really sorry it took so long but right now I'm in a bit of a difficult spot (nothing too serious, don't worry). But yeah! The plot thickens! This is a super important chapter and one of the reasons it took so much time is because I tried to make it not too long but keeping all the information needed. There is still more surprises waiting but you are going to discover A LOT in this one.
Title taken from God save me, but don't drown me out by Yungblud.

Right, but can you imagine Jon finally telling Injustice Damian that what happened to Dick was not his fault? To be the one that tells him the way he’s acting is not right but at the same time also be someone who will not wrongfully blame him for what he’s done as if it’s his nature.
Jon could finally let Damian know that there is someone who’s willing to understand him - to be entirely honest with him when it comes to things he needs and deserves to hear.

Injustice: All-In 2
So I handed the full-time reins of the Birds to Cassie, and we're still adjusting to that even years later. Tim, Dick, John Henry Irons, J’onn J’onzz, and I all serve as coordinators and mission control for the legwork side of the Initiative. Sometimes an industrialist is running terrible cloning experiments but nothing they’re doing is actually illegal. Sometimes some org hides money off-shore and it’s got to be brought into accounts tied to them here to be discovered in a legal audit, seized, and dispersed into new channels Wonder Woman helps structure.
I don’t miss leading my own team. Not really. Not all the time. It’d be nice if less responsibility meant less fatigue. The Initiative sponsors therapy and the Vent Line but I just… I can’t.
But at least there are enough coordinators since absorbing the Titans that I can take a day off.
Theoretically.
If I weren’t the kind of person who sees a day off as a chance to take a shift at Gotham Public. And if I didn’t keep reopening mission updates on half my glasses. At least the information on the other lens is for the library.
who is harley quinn / harleen quinzel / joker / joker gas / joker grin / is the joker dead / dead joker / joker can’t die conspiracy
Well. That’s an interesting and potentially problematic line of research.
Public login, of course; why did I bother checking? Can’t see the desk from my angle, but the camera overseeing the computer lab shows me a girl with a medical mask. I didn’t see her at the start of my shift or at the last desk check. There’s something wrong with the way she holds herself.
“Hello, miss? I don’t mean to interrupt—” She flinches. I was going to say something about boolean search terms or library cards. When she looks up—up and then downward to me, and I meet those eyes, all the words burn away.
Whatever I feel must show on my face, because she tries to surge to her feet. Her clothes are sized for someone years younger, and I get flashes of skeletal limbs and a distended stomach as she heaves her bag up—and then she keels over, and my body and my brain go to separate places. I grab a wrist before she can hit her head, but my angle is bad and I can’t get her back into her seat. Her mask came halfway off in the scuffle. The fluorescent light floods down to fill my eyes and ears with static; I know this is a vasovagal response and I know I can’t let it become a syncope. I reseat her mask as best I can without looking at or touching her face.
Other patrons have glanced our way, but who else would they contact about a medical emergency but the head librarian? Maybe 911, but even after years of the Initiative, this is still Gotham.
And I’m dwelling because I don’t want to act. I have her number. If anyone can help a last lingering victim of Joker gas cope or, or get the help she needs, it’s the reformed Harley Quinn. I force myself into action and grab my phone.
“Dinah, can I get a hand at the library?”

Injustice AU Pt 2
When Kara arrives at the hospital, exhausted and bruised and aching to see her wife, no one thinks twice about the blood at her hairline or the tears in her clothes. She's upright and alert, which is more than can be said for others in the hospital.
She's directed towards the ER, where she finds Lena dazedly fighting sleep. Their eyes meet, and almost immediately Kara sees the tension bleed from her wife's shoulders. Crossing the distance between them, Kara cups Lena's cheek to rest their foreheads together, both of them sighing quietly in relief.
"It's over," Kara murmurs. Lena grasps her free hand and gives it a squeeze. She knows Kara's complicated relationship with Clark-- how the infrequent contact hurts and the guilt for not arriving in time to help raise him as she was tasked. Lena understands.
"Lori?" Kara asks.
"She's okay. Nurses took her to the playroom."
Kara nods. Better that than letting her get lost in the chaos of an overcrowded emergency room.
"Probably gonna be here for a while," Lena mumbles. "Take her home?"
"Yeah. But we'll be back. Call if you need anything, and I'll be here."
"Maybe call Mrs. Tibbs?" Lena suggests, referencing their closest neighbor and emergency babysitter. Bringing Lori back to the hospital before things calmed down isn't something they want to expose her to.
"I will," Kara promises. "Rest now."
"Mmk." Already, Lena's eyes are drifting shut, succumbing to the narcotics running through her IV drip. "Love you."
"I love you too."
Once Lena is asleep, Kara finds her way to the playroom, and envelops her daughter in a fierce hug the moment she enters. She pushes the memory of the Justice League staring at her, their curiosity and interest, their unspoken question as to why they haven't known about Kara before.
She'd said little once Superman had been subdued, and she knows her actions will call the heroes to her eventually, asking for help and alliances. But Kara shoves it all away.
All that matters is bringing her daughter home, and keeping her family safe.
That's all that's ever mattered.
