One of the best things about My Adventures With Superman is that it puts a classic rescuing-cats superman in a post-Injustice world that not only believes Superman should be dark and evil, but is doing its damnedest to convince Superman that he already is the Bad Superman everyone expects. Even his typical bastions, at least at first, aren't sure what to make of him. Martha Kent is traumatized by the time the ship almost killed her and accidentally projects it onto him. Zor El is scary and off-putting until he realizes that Clark doesn't know anything about Kryptonian language or culture. Lois Lane loves Clark but distrusts Superman, a near inversion of the typical early-relationship dynamic.
And like you see the strain on him. He's out to prove to himself as much as anyone else that he's good actually, and the universe keeps conspiring against him, what with a League of Loises, the Brainiac infection on his ship, and Mxyzptlk's little Trauma Orb. Poor guy is the sweetest and most lovable version of Superman since Christopher Reeves, but in a world even darker and more cynical than the 70s.

Damian's lines as an adult in Injustice 2 concerns me. He needs to distance himself from bad habits immediately.

The B.C. Supreme Court has ruled that a traditional Wet’suwet’en trespass law cannot “coexist” with the injunction order issued to Coastal GasLink in response to pipeline protests from the nation’s hereditary leadership. As a result, Chief Dsta’hyl, a Wing Chief of the Likhts’amisyu Clan of the Wet’suwet’en Nation who also goes by Adam Gagnon, was found guilty of criminal contempt in a Smithers courtroom on Tuesday morning. To be found guilty of contempt of court, the prosecution needs to establish that a person is aware of a court order and violated it intentionally. To meet the threshold for criminal contempt, the violations must be public in nature. In making the decision, Justice Michael Tammen rejected a defence argument that could have set precedent in cases involving conflicts between Canadian court orders and Indigenous legal orders. [...] The defence argued that “subjugating Indigenous law to colonial law, when they both form part of the law of the land in Canada, brings the administration of justice into scorn, precisely the consequence that criminal contempt proceedings are meant to punish.”

A world-renowned professor of Statistics & Data Science at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, Wyner provided a detailed analysis of the data from the Gaza Health Ministry, which showed that they had, at the very minimum, been doctored – and at worst, completely faked.

I may be too stressed to articulate this clearly but I am going to try.
While Hawai'i and Maui are trending I'm going to share this link. Its a FAQ about Hawai'i's statehood and the situation Hawai'i is in at the moment. There are people who want to be part of the U.S in Hawai'i and there are people who don't, but the people of Hawai'i were never, at any point, given an option to choose.
If you want to help Hawai'i and it's people but can't donate, spread this word. Help educate people. Make Hawai'i as the tropical paradise be replaced with the sovereign nation stolen by the u.s.
It is subtropical, meaning it is much more vulnerable to arid climates caused by climate change.
It has been systematically stripped of its native food harvesting practices and any ability to farm and self sustain. It has been systematically stripped of its previous industries. Maui used to export milk and cattle. That's all been taken away.
The islands since the 1800s were exploited as plantations, burning sugar cane and growing pineapples which are not native, diverting the water and depleting the water table.
Lahaina burned because of these practices. Because the native people were no longer allowed to govern their lands.
We as local people know that tourism is bad because this systematic destruction has happened in living memory. Within my grandparent's lifetimes, within my lifetime. I have watched this island crumble at the hands of mainland startups, hoping to take people on whale watching tours that cut the whales with their boats while people aren't allowed to have a ferry between islands. People create ziplines and tours through lands that used to belong to local people for farming and cattle. Now they're bought out for photos and hikes the local people can never afford. Hundreds of jobs have been lost in the past thirty years. Mass migrations to the mainland have been made by local people, myself included because we can no longer afford to stay on the island where we were born. Working three jobs is not enough to cover the rent because the houses are bought up by mainland people who then turn these houses into vacation rentals and charge hundreds a night. Right now these very homes are being paid for by the government so that Lahaina people have somewhere to stay and it's costing the state millions that people in the mainland are reeping.
People ask why tourism is bad. Because there are people alive today on Maui that have watched the foreign industries destroy everything. Because people alive today know what used to be and knew how to take care of the ecosystem so that this kind of calamity didn't happen. Lahaina was not just fertile. They had canals and waterways. Rivers that they would drive boats through to go from one part of town to another. It was more like Venice than this desert you see in pictures.
And do your own research. The information is out there. There are two Hawai'i's. The one you see as a tourist, and the REAL one. The one we need to protect.
Let Hawaiians have their land back. Let them restore the water to the land so we can prevent further catastrophe. Tell people about REAL Hawaii.

Okay but, people are always like "Bruce having dad strength isn't even canon" like, excuse me? The man that yanks his 6' 255 lbs son by the collar of his shirt in like 0.2 secs to save them both from the explosion that said son, dead-weight and reluctant to go, set up? The man that gives a piggyback ride to the same son who struggles and puts up a fight to be let go? The man who strips his bloodied, passed-out 5'5" 125 lbs son of his uniform and puts civvies on him to then carry him bridal-style to the hospital as of he were lifting a feather? The man who carries his dead 5'10" 175 lbs son in his arms for god knows how long? That man?

R.I.P. Kevin Conroy
Actor and voice actor Kevin Conroy passed away today (11/11/22) at age 66 following a battle with cancer. Although he’s played many roles over the years, he’s undoubtedly most known as the iconic voice of BATMAN/BRUCE WAYNE across multiple media.
The gifs shown here are just some of the MANY incarnations/reprisals of Batman/Bruce Wayne he portrayed. He began with Batman: The Animated Series in 1992. What followed was 30 years of the gay actor serving as the most-used and most-beloved incarnation of Batman for a whole generation.

Superman, the Father of a Tyrant
How, out of mistake, the Observants made that Regime never happen as they tried to send Pariah's heir to a Tyrant so he could learn and see what not to do in the future.
The king is a dictator after all, the council gives him ideas not choose for him. So no Paperwork for them when he is a ruler. So what if they turned the Heir to a baby, it's for the Greater good.
Clark: " I am a hero!"
Observant:" You are Kal-El, also known as Clark Kent."
Clark:" Yes!"
Observant looked with his 1 eye at the file:" Well, here it stands; you are the husband of Lois Lane."
Clark:" ...Yes. I am."
The Observant continued:" Well, here is written, after you killed her because of the Joker, and Metropolis is nuked by him. You killed the Joker and have gone fully crazy. And are then a cruel tyrant. Who thinks he is a hero. "
Clark:" What?"
Observant: "Wait, it's the year. ####? Right?"
Clark:" No... It's ####."
Observant: " Then sorry. We will come back later then. Now it's time to search for a new tyrant."
That was how the flying eyeball with the baby teleported away. Leaving a massive file of the Injustice Regime story and similar.
Clark looking through it was super shocked and horrified at what he was reading.
Observant teleported back gives him the baby:" Well we not really had a list, you were perfect to use as what not to do as Tyrant and how to make sure you stay in power. Take care of him till we find a new Tyrant. "

Injustice Superman meets Jon Kent
For context; Injustice Superman is a version of Superman who lost his wife and child and became evil as a result. Jon Kent is the child he would have had from another timeline.
In the comic (spoilers I guess) they sent Superman from the good timeline to defeat the evil Superman. But I wondered how things could have turned out had a certain someone else shown up instead...
(Yes I know there's actually a comic that's similar to this idea out there but it was lame so I made this)

I don't think Batman fans understand the point of Batman at all sometimes, lmfao.
Tumblr media
Yeah, and Batman still believes Harley can redeem herself despite all that, this is a man who literally has tried to redeem the fucking Joker on several occasions, like he does not care what you've done, he believes that anyone is worthy of redemption.
