not sure if my ask sent BUT I’m loving people being vocal about the fandom not caring about eddie outside of buddie. it’s been happening since the dawn of time (lol) and there’s a reason so many vocalists about eddie decided to be loud and obnoxious about it (including yours truly). his journey is nuanced and he’s such a good character to explore a straight-maybe to bucksexual love with but it will take TIME for anything to happen because of that journey. still. you said eddie rights and i love that.

This is the only ask I got from you, so it probably got lost in the blue void if you sent something else. But absolutely, something I noticed during the hiatus, because while I have been lurking around the fandom since season 5, I only really started to actively post thoughts and stuff after the lightning, so I spent a really long time observing people even more when I started posting random metas, or just thoughts, people have this almost pathological need to make everything about Eddie about Buck. I legit remember making a post about Shannon and blocking several people because they kept making what happened with Shannon about Buck, and that's not it. Eddie is a FASCINATING character. He is so nuanced. And he is so well written and acted out. Like, I was casual about the show until fear-o-phobia (tbf that was the 3rd episode I watched live but still). Eddie grabbed me by the throat that day. And there's so much that people give Buck a pass that they would NEVER give to Eddie. And there's so much to explore with him. And yeah, I think his queer journey will involve Buck somehow, but because I truly believe that man is demi and I don't care about anything else. Making him have a complicated relationship with attraction as a whole is so much more interesting than saying he's just looking for a beard his whole life. And the amount of people I saw picking fights about people not shipping Buck and Tommy because "they have this need that Eddie should be the only man for Buck" (when literally everyone in the fandom hc Buck 1.0 as having slept with guys too) that are people I had seen saying that Eddie only ever loved Buck, straight up erasing the whole concept that he might've been in love with his wife is wild. If Eddie is not adding something to Buck and this idea that Buck is this baby that needs to be protected and can do no wrong, then he is being unnecessary or ooc or just plain weird and THAT'S WILD. Sure Buck and Eddie have a compelling relationship, and I LOVE exploring the possibilities around how much Eddie loves Buck, but Eddie exists for more than loving Buck and both of them exist outside of each other. Honestly, right now, Eddie needs some defenders because it's rough out here. If people can pick fights about Buck the way they do, Imma do the same about Eddie. If people don't agree then that's their problem.

That's because I have a krang!Casey AU that I've been working on for a little over a year now. I have a really bad memory, and sometimes it was hard to tell when if I was trying to draw cannon Casey or my AU Casey. It made it easier to tell which folder to organize stuff into later down the line. Sometimes it easy to tell the difference like here

At the beginning of the au casey is 13 and short, the difference is night and day. But there was a time where this was supposed to be a cannon compliant-ish AU and it wasn't so easy for me to tell in early drawings of AU!Casey like here

Without the pink eyes I would've absolutely thought that this was a post move outfits ideas for cannon Casey XD. That and I think it's neat! It kinda shows a bit that there's something up with him

The fact that Sly literally only ever fronted whenever Aoba was being assaulted, abused, or nearly killed throughout DRAMAtical Murder yet to this day people still call him “the evil alter cliche” in terms of the general portrayal of DID in media really really bothers me.

He literally was split as a means to protect Aoba, which is exactly what Sly did. Did he go about it the wrong way? Yeah, I'd say destroying people's brains and giving people brain hemorrhages isn't necessarily the best way to ensure the safety of your system, but that's literally what an aggressive protector is in a system: An alter usually split to deal with physical, verbal, emotional, or sexual abuse and/or assault, but due to their misguided idea of what protection should and shouldn't be, they retaliate against said danger and/or abuse aggressively. They mean no harm to their system nor the body and it's the same case for Aoba and Sly.

Aoba literally acknowledges that Sly was never evil and that he just had a misguided idea of protecting him from harm in Ren’s route. Stop it with the “Sly/Desire is evil and that's his only character trait” shtick because it's annoying. He's just a smug little gremlin alter who likes to mess with people's heads, and what about it?? He's far from “evil” he's just a tiny bastard man who just so happens to have mind manipulation powers.

Okay so I just watched the “I’m giving you 30 seconds to run” “say I love you back” scene and here are my thoughts because I need them sorted somewhere:

• Moments prior to this interaction, Jimmy outright states that he’s going to kill Scott. However, in practice, Jimmy is roped into conversation where he does nothing to hurt Scott and then lets him off with a 30 second head start. this is holding hands with the moment in Secret Life where Jimmy enthusiastically agrees to help kill Scott, only to say that he’s only going to hit Scott once, and then expresses concerns about Scott retaliating. To me. These moments are holding hands to me.

• This (the implication that Scott came to Jimmy because Jimmy is safe.) (Jimmy literally wants to kill him just like every other yellow on the server does there is no reason to believe that Jimmy is safe.) (Does anyone want to take a wild guess as to why Scott thinks Jimmy is safe anyways.)

• Jimmy’s movement as Scott talks about his day comes across anxiously; Jimmy does a lot of looking around, almost if searching for another person nearby. He crouches momentarily, then pointlessly mines a rail below him. Realistically, I think this is because he’s still trying to figure out how he’s going to kill Scott, and Scott is making it real awkward by being nice, something that’d make anyone nervous. but The Demons are whispering to me and making very compelling points about Jimmy feeling unsafe in one-on-one interactions with Scott and wanting the comfort of knowing at least somebody else is watching. (Would not be the only time Jimmy has expressed discomfort around being left alone with Scott. See: SL!Jimmy requesting that Joel stay “at least where you can see me” after Joel sends Jimmy to go hit Scott, Limlife!Jimmy asking the Bad Boys to keep an eye on him when Scott and Jimmy split off from the group so that Jimmy can get a clean kill for time.)

• The “If you can kill tango and leave me as the last green, I’ll let you kill me” is odd. That doesn’t actually give Scott any real advantage. That is a nothing transaction. The only benefit of that would be bragging rights and I highly doubt Scott cares about getting those. Really I think Scott just wants Jimmy off his back, so he invents a task to send Jimmy on so that Scott doesn’t have to worry about him (he does this in 3l a lot), as Jimmy is pestering him about giving him time and Scott wants to shut down that conversation without being rude about it.
