headcanon that Merle carries around little notecards as a memory aide with scribbled notes and names of spells that he's able to use.

sometimes (oftentimes) he drops some of them which explains why he just does not remember he can cast certain spells fairly often, and sometimes (...oftentimes) Taako and Magnus et al. slip extras into his stack which explains why he occasionally tries to cast spells that he's unable to use

why are there like a bunch of random blogs all of a sudden with default icons and bot-like urls that are posting stock images of guys with memey text on top and the tags are all just "terfs please interact" "terfsafe" "radfemsafe" "gendie brainrot" etc etc etc ??????

anyways pro tip if u want to avoid rbing shit from terfs: go into your settings and add all those tags to your blacklist/filtered tags. i've done this with pr0ship garbage too

btw artists you should maybe stop posting your art on pinterest if that's something you've been doing, i know a few ppl who have been sharing their art there

i'm not sure if this section has been updated at all or if it's always been this way but I was taking a read through their soon-to-be-implemented update to their TOS to see if they'll be adding anything with the increased usage of AI and this looks like perhaps this section exists (at least in part) for that reason 🤔 [thinking emoji]

unfortunately their report function for art theft/reposting has historically been less than stellar (an understatement) and I don't really see it improving any time soon but perhaps they will improve it with this update to their TOS and privacy policy! one can hope at least!

i feel like i am losing my mind a little bit bc i spent over half of my counselling appt talking about my fear of spiders and this lady kept telling me i should just kill them, and that the only way to get over my fear is to kill them, and i shouldnt catch and release them anymore ??

and now i am thinking about it and wondering do they actually remember how to get into the house,,,,,, if i put them way on the other side of the house in the garden under a plant where its safe, will they just... come back inside? because I don't remember ever seeing any duplicates of spiders that I caught and released, it seems to always be a different looking one each time so :|

but she just seemed so confused and kind of amused by me trying to explain how i think that like... every life has value and I don't think I should be killing spiders if I can avoid doing that. and she straight up laughed at me saying that they are fascinating very interesting little critters.

i think a lot of things would be solved if ppl would look up words before using them,,, like I saw ppl using tweaking and I went "huh that sounds like it might be AAVE, and also i thought that was a thing that happens with substance abuse, but maybe i'm wrong - i'll go look it up" and I googled it and lo and behold. it is a word that comes from AAVE and has connotations of substance abuse and/or using hallucinogenic drugs. and then I went "okay i should not use that word" and that was that.
