my reaction to the harshness of the world is usually to be sad, sad for myself and sad for everyone else in this wide world that we were a born in a time where kindness is conditional and life has so many sharp edges. should i be angry instead? angry that we could choose peace and instead choose cruelty? that we have one short life on this planet and we spend it like this, throwing rocks and spears and missiles?

but no. the answer is love. to love myself and everyone else so fully that there is not enough hate in the world to overcome it. to love and be loved and if i leave no other legacy, let it be that i loved.

I feel so ashamed I actaully followed an ad and bought something

but also not so ashamed bc a) i am getting two new beautiful necklaces (a dragonfly and a turtle!) and b) I'd seen stuff about it before it was only this ad that made me go finally 'okay given that this is a closing down sale of this thing I will make my final decisions regarding purchases' so the ad didn't really influence anything it just made me get on with it
