[Name] stared at the screen of the television showcasing a random horror movie absentmindedly, not paying much attention to it as their thoughts were occupied.

It was well past midnight and they were still wide awake.

They were unable to sleep due to the loud thundering sounds of the storm outside and decided to watch a movie instead and hopefully fall asleep to it.

It didn't work obviously as they were currently staring blankly at the scene of a man being brutally murdered by an axe-wielding killer in the movie. It was concerning how they barely reacted to the grotesque scene.

They've seen real horrors before.

[Name] has essentially been desensitised of seeing blood and gore. The sight being far too common nowadays after they met him.

Their ears perked up at the sound of a jingling keys and the doorknob twisting open. He's home. [Name] turned their gaze from the movie to the man who's currently standing at their front door.

"You're back and.. bloodied as usual" They greeted him, eyes trailing over his current state.

Lorn was covered in blood from head to toe, both his and his victim's they presumed. Cuts and scratches littered his muscled arms, some look fairly deep ones as it bled. The killer stood still as a statue all the while [Name] inspected him, he knew [Name] will be angry at him for walking around bathed in blood so he remained glued to his spot.

"Found a tough one. Scratched and sliced me once with a knife. That's why m'so bloodied, had to cut their limbs off f'touching me" He explained, staring at [Name] who were grabbing the items they had kept in the supply closet.

If they had not known better, they would've thought he was innocent, incapable of harm as he stared at them through his red horned mask with those adoring eyes. Who would've thought that the infamous Lovelorn killer was a small puppy towards his object of affection.

"Come here, let's get you cleaned and patched up. Wouldn't want you to bleed everywhere, blood is hard to get out of carpet okay?" They motioned him to strip his clothes off and dump it in the basin of clothes to be washed separately.

As they wiped the blood off of Lorn, stitched and wrapped him up in bandages they were overcome by a realisation. Something feels off about themselves. A normal person would've screamed bloody murder and ran to the police but here they are pampering a serial killer who they are living with.

'I might be insane myself' they thought to themselves, chuckling humourlessly.

It had been months since they were locked inside this house with only Lorn as a company. They were protesting at first, demanding to be freed but even then deep down they didn't really care. [Name] only did it because it's what they thought a sane person would do.

Maybe they and Lorn aren't that different.

[Name] snapped out of their thoughts when a rough hand were placed on their jaw, the touch so gentle they barely feel it.

"What's wrong?" Lorn was looking at them with those eyes again.

They shook their head and smiled, continuing their work of stitching up closed a cut on his arm. After they were done, Lorn stood up and englufed them in a hug, their sizes difference were apparent as he towers over them with his muscular built.

"Thank you. I love you so much, [Name]" He said, burying his face on their hair.

They pat his back and suddenly a thought crept up in their mind. They bit their lip as they contemplate on wether to ask him or not.

Fuck it.

"Hey, Lorn?" He hummed in reply, too busy mooching off their warmth.

"Why don't I join you the next time you went out for a kill?"

AITA for fucking with my asshole landlord?

I know i'm on the we hate landlords webbed site and trust me i'm right there with you, which is partially why i've been doing this, but its technically unprovoked and i feel like im just lashing out for selfish reasons

some context: my landlord lives in my apt complex and i've had a few (unpleasant) interactions with him including one where he apologized to me, a white cishet-passing (im trans/ace) dude about not checking with me before allowing my (also queer) DISABLED neighbor to bring in their service dog???

like???

First of all what sort of asshole objects to another person having access to their SERVICE DOG, SECONDLY i have NO legal influence over whether or not they get to have their service dog with them and YOU'RE telling me you wouldn't have let their dog live with them if I??? their unrelated neighbour??? objected???

I shudder to think what would have happened if i Was some entitled prick who did object.

onto where i might be the asshole. We all share a carpark connected to the building with a space reserved for each apt. Everyone mostly keeps their space clean and trashfree, and i even bust out the broom sometimes to keep it clean and tidy, but mr. landlord treats his space like a street curb on trashday and just dumps all of his shit (baskets of dirty laundry, broken furniture/mattresses, giant trashbags of bottles, ect) in a huge heap within his space. it doesnt get in anyone else's way but it's an eyesore and he leaves it there for weeks!

soi don't know, maybe its because of my previous interactions with him, or because of the bright red sports car he drives or maybe especially because of the "i support my local police" bumper sticker; but on a regular basis i take his shit and place it behind/on his car so he has to pick it up and move it to get out of his space. just really make it a pain, like stuffing discarded cardboard underneath his tires n everything. i've done this several times now and he just moves it aside and doesn't pick it up.

Like i said he's not really hurting anybody by leaving it there but it looks trashy to me and i feel justified because i think he's an asshole, am I one as well tho?

new l!fting tip #1: tumblr 101

no tags!!! do not tag ur posts, it makes it easier for non-l!fters to find and report l!fters

censor out brands and l!fting terms!! such as dn@, 3B, etc. (dn@ is did not arrive and 3B is empty box!!! different l!fting methods)

never ever put any defining objects in your photos if you are gonna post! make sure its the haul and ONLY the haul.

remove exif data from your photos so they can’t be traced, personally i dont do think bc im lazy but you should!

don’t put your total in your bio! i used to do this bc i liked to tell ppl i saved $20k-$30k over the year but it’s not smart to flaunt that you’re over the felony limit!

next, #2: how to lyft

so you’ve already completed your first lyft (woohoo proud of u!!) but how can you go about being safer and smarter?

my first tip is always scan the school for cameras! be sneaky tho don’t like just stare at the ceiling, but yk get a feel for how many cameras, what type, and what direction they’re facing. most places are gonna have the dome cameras, those are the worst because they see in every direction. always always try to body block if possible. either get someone else to block you or duck behind something while you’re concealing. better to not be caught on cam!!

nobody in that store is your friend, remember that. always assume that customers are plain clothes LP (disguised security) and always assume that sales associates WILL rat you out. don’t think “oh well it’s just me and one other person in the aisle it’ll be fine” because it’s gonna be the one time it’s not fine.

on that note, be kind to everyone. this isn’t just a lyfting tip it’s a rule i live by but just be kind. they’re gonna suspect you much less if you smile and answer questions and compliment them if you feel so inclined, just be a nice person. i believe this is one of the reasons i’ve never been caught, i’m just very friendly.

concealing!!! where to conceal? i personally like using my bag most often. your bag is important too!!! i use one off amazon (you can type like kawaii heart school bag and it’ll pop up, its black and has a big heart cut out for pins) but i dont have any pins because i dont want it to be too identifiable. its purse enough for people not to tell me to take it off (a lot of places don’t allow backpacks) but big enough to fit a LOT of stuff. structured bags are always a good idea too! that way people won’t be able to tell if you’ve put anything in there. i like to conceal in aisles without cameras most often, but if i have to body block sometimes i’ll put stuff up my sleeves first! another idea is to use a shopping bag from another store. this way people will think you’ve just already bought stuff! the target ones are my favorite since they’re opaque<3

onto the next section, #3: all about tags

de-tagging is definitely a more experienced lyfting practice but you can definitely start with rfids!!

rfids are gonna be the little metal wires in plastic, paper, or sticker tags. these are very common and you’ll see them at places like w4lmart or t4rget. these are easily removable by either cutting them off or disabling them with a magnet. you don’t NEED any tools while lyfting, but some of them can come in handy. if you do find yourself with a magnet, to disable rfids you just need to swipe your magnet against the tag. if you don’t have one, simply cut the metal wire in half. you can use scissors or nail clippers or cuticle nippers or whatever you might have!! if you can’t cut them, simply remove them and i personally stick the tag in the pocket of a really ugly item on clearance so that it hopefully goes unfound for a while!

hard tags! hard tags are any tag from the solid tags you find usually on clothes to spider tags you find on electronics or wire tags on jewelry at hot topic, etc. these all require tools to remove. some will require a magnet, others will require hooks, but it’s definitely worth looking into if you decide to branch out on your journey.

brief mention, #3.5: booster bags!

booster bags are small bags lined with many layers of foil to prevent signals from reaching the towers. just in case you didn’t know, towers are the tall sensors by the front door when you walk in! with a booster bag, you can put any kind of tagged item you want, zip it up, and walk out without beeping. you need many layers however!! the way to test if your bag works it by putting your cell phone in there and asking someone to call you. if the call goes through, there aren’t enough layers!! once the call doesn’t go through you’re set! this however is a more advanced trick so please be careful if you’re gonna try this!

lastly, #4 online “shopping”!

so you’ve heard of dn4ing or empty boxes, well lemme tell you what it all means! did not arrive is when you purchase an item, wait for it to arrive, and then message the carrier and tell them it never arrived. typically our goal here is to get a refund, but any times they wont be as easily persuaded and you’ll end up with a replacement instead. however it’s not impossible and many places are easier others. if you think you wanna try this, she!n or am4zon are a good place to start!! if she!n opens an investigation, it’s just a bluff, go with it!

empty box is another form of online lyfting, it’s when you tell the carrier that your item arrived with nothing in it. the process is similar to the first one, message the carrier etc. however just claim that it’s an empty box!

anyway- i wanted to ask for a platonic tadc one. jax, caine, ragatha, gangle, zooble, pomni and kinger x teen reader (im not sure if u are used to making multiple in one post, but u can choose just one or somes if u are struggling :3), the reader have a personality similar to a eeve, if u know what i mean. shes kind and caring, a bit energetic and fun-loving, she protects the other characters and give them some weird things she finds around, she smiles a lot and i imagine one trait of her appearance, it being she having a cardboard box in her head that shows her facial expressions by emoticons, like ">w<" and ":0" (u dont need to add that, i just thought its a fun concept to write about). bUT in the other hand... shes not so sweet. she is chaotic and not much as jax but she loves to tease others (like playfully fighting or being playfully mean but never crossing a boundary by doing so), shes stubborn to do things she dosent want to do and shes lazy, she is bold w her feelings and she have a bit of a short temper to some topics (even tho she dosent physically hurt anyone, she does create a beef w them and is sure to show it, by dirty looks and being passive agressive)

springfest just got announced, and im pretty sure i know the theme.

so before i say my theory i want to tell what i think the theme is so that none of you have to read the whole thing to get it. i think that springfest's theme will be flowers vs candy vs eggs. i think shiver will be team flower, frye will be team candy, and big man will be team eggs.

lets analyse this image.

evidence for flowers:

flowers have an obvious connection to spring.

on the bottom of the statue's bonnet is a strange pink symbol and a fish symbol. both have small flower markings.

on top of the frontmost statue is a large object that can be assumed to be an egg

the statue's base seems to be a giant eggshell

hanging off the bottom of that eggshell are smaller eggs in the splatfest colors

this image has a lot of the same evidence as the first image, with the addition of the pink pinhole shades having jellybeans and sprinkles in the lenses.

in the back are three ink splashes. in order for left to right, its green, blue, pink. assuming the ink splashes are in accurate order (as in when we get the actual theme announcement the order of colors will be the same), that means shiver is on the green team, frye is on the blue team, and big man is on the pink team.

shiver has already been seen with green tentacles, and ive already said how i think green is team flowers because of green's association with plants. we already know for sure that team eggs is guaranteed and its ink color is pink, so big man is on team eggs.

that means frye is on team candy, the blue team. this makes extra sense because frye was on team sweet. if anybody in deep cut was team candy, it would be her.

as such, i believe the splatfest theme is flowers vs candy vs eggs. i think team flowers has green ink and is repped by shiver. i think team candy has blue ink and is repped by frye. and i think team eggs has pink ink and is repped by big man.

you're right, i'm working on adding more to my portfolio and i'll label them too

TLDR, the smaller the canvas size, the bigger the pixels will seem. this also means there's less room for detail

this icon of Cinnamon is (SMALL) 48x48. this is a good size for portraits and objects or items

this strawberry and paw button icon is (SMALL) 32x32. this size is best for items, obejcts, and simplified portraits. i choose the specifics of the canvas size based on what i'm tasked with making. if you choose "small" and pick character art, i will make it on a 48x48 canvas by default and you dont need to choose that. it's just a guide to tell you how small/big the pixels will look in the end

this posed art of @subjectseventeen is (MEDIUM) 96x80. this size is better for character art and anything else you can think of. just like the small sized canvas, i choose the specific canvas size based on what i'm making

this gif of dolli dimples & sally sashay is 280x220. i dont offer this size right now but it's to give you a better idea of what differently sized pixel art means - as you can see, much more detail can be fit into larger canvases. the big canvas is best for all things, especially things that require a lot of detail.

i dont currently offer this size because my commissions are already on the expensive end and the amount of time/detail that goes into these big canvases is just... Too Much !

more about pixel art/artistic process below if anyone's curious

pixel art is basically so small because the devices and games which use it have very small memories. this is why i start with as small of a canvas as possible and keep the canvas small (17's canvas is horizontal.) it also saves space if the art is transferred onto anything, such as turned into a sticker or badge, there's basically no border so it wont need to be cropped. the canvas sizes used are all multiples of 16 because that's traditionally how pixel art has been made - makes moving sprites much easier for computers to understand for the game i work on. it's also a good size to make repeating patterns with for tiles in games - and it's the sizing reference my background canvas uses so it's sort of like a ruler for spacing certain things

each grey square is 16 pixels, meaning 4 squares is 32 pixels and so on

this isnt why pixel art is called "8bit/16bit/32bit" though, THOSE numbers refer to how many colours were used in the game's entire palette to, again, reduce the memory it takes up as much as possible. modern pixel artists generally dont use these words because we dont usually work in hyper-limited palettes. we do still use limited palettes (for me, usually 1 base 2 shade 1 highlight per colour) and again it's to reduce memory size of the file and it helps with keeping your art consistent :0)

it kinda sucks how much visual math goes into making pixel art because im actually so. SO. bad at math .

He fucking wants to appoint himself as god-king (wants to expand power of the executive (diminishing the separation of powers), turn govt civil employees status to ‘at will’ for firing, and to impose congressional term limits while also abolishing his own) and “root out” the “vermin” in this country (literal rhetoric he has used) and with this Court it probably won’t just go unchecked, but like I’m afraid it could be affirmatively endorsed using principles of originalism and ‘history and tradition’ (whose fucking version of history???? Huh???? Because it certainly wasn’t fucking mine when you overturned Roe in Dobbs) but in the fast and loose way that they like to, where sometimes they want to be textualist and sometimes they don’t.

Assuming he tries, I do think expansion of the executive might not get support from some of the conservative justices under principles of federalism which is— wrong math, right answer. But they 100% would justify his white Christian supremacist alloamatocisheteronormative patriarchal policies under originalism and ‘history and tradition’. As if letting the past guide the future isn’t a fucking BATSHIT thing to do. We learn the past to do BETTER in the future, not to fucking EMULATE it and use their standards to STAGNANT the lives of real people. The fact that he has no competition in primaries (literally only one other person is even trying) and will end up being the Democratic candidate has me so incensed and the fact that Joseph Biden is fucking painted as the ‘radical left’ by opposition is both objectively hilarious and just horrifying and dangerously (and probably intentionally) misleading so as to continue the shift of whatever “middle” exists to actually be further and further right wing.

There is not really a larger point here and I’m super not looking for discourse but if anyone is gonna try anyway— don’t bother me without a source.

since you moved into the trailer park, every night, you'd be found on the bench, you have to weave in and out of a few poorly placed items of furniture and sometimes you tripped and thankfully no one would be awake to hear you curse, huff and then talk to the inanimate piece of furniture well, like it was animate.

The first time you met eddie, it's a picnic box, just in the middle of the path, and you hear a snort, the kind someone tries to stifle.

"that you wayne? Well I meant to do that actually" you nod to yourself.

The first night you moved here, a gruff voice interuppted your once again, raging at an object, this time a lighter.

"For fuck sake, stupid thing, that's the third one this week" you groaned and threw your head back

"You need some help there?" He chuckles, before stretching out his arm, his own lighter producing a flame.

"You new around here?" He asks

"Mmhm, you exhale

"You on your own?"

"Yup"

"Im wayne, live in that one at the front with the band stickers on the door"

Your eyebrows raise at him, but it's dark and you hope he doesn't see.

"I live with my nephew too, the stickers are his" he confirms.

"Right, right" you chuckle.

"anyway, I better get back home, be safe" he nods.

And since then, whenever wayne visited the bench, he'd chuck you a few extra cigs, bring a can of soda with him some nights.

But this night, you were met with someone else, who was trying hard not to laugh at you tripping over a box.

"im eddie" he pushes himself off the table and places his hands on his hips.

"Y/n" you reply.

"Come here often?"

"Every night"

"Huh" eddie says.

And after that, every night eddie waited for you. And you'd talk about everything and nothing and eddie would tell you about his new campaign and eddie would notice that whilst you were interested in what he was saying, there was something more, something reserved, something you were trying desperately to keep down in the darkest corner of your mind. Eddie noticed how when he got there after you, your voice wavered slightly sometimes, and your breath came out shaky.

the air bites at you crueler than normal, it hurts. You shiver as you make your way over to eddie.

"Hey sweetheart" he grins

"hey" you mumble. Hopping up on the bench next to him.

you take out your cigs and lighter wordlessly, Eddie's brow furrows.

"you okay?" He asks and his voice is filled with concern for you

"Mmhm, yep" you don't even look at him.

Eddie takes a drag of his cigarette

"Where's your head at darlin?" Eddie leans forward, placing his hand on your knee.

you shake your head, desperate.

"dont" you whisper

"hey" eddie grips your chin, pushes your face up so he can see you, he feels you tremble under his hand.

"oh" eddie swipes his thumb at a tear running down your cheek

"C'mere" and he wraps his arms around you

"Talk to me" he whispers, kissing the top of your head.

He feels you shake in his arms and he just holds you tighter

"I got you darlin it's okay" he reassures you, still not letting go.

"it's... its just, it wont stop, my mind it just wont fucking stop and i normally got a handle on it but i dont know its all just too much" your voice is barely a whisper, a sob escaping you while eddie still holds you like he's keeping you above water.

"sweetheart, look at me" eddie places his hand on your cheek, his fingers resting under your jawline

He smiles at you, comforting, you think you might break once more just by the look he has on his face.

"there you go" he says

"It's gonna be okay you know, even if it doesent feel like it today or tomorrow or next week, you got this yeah?" Eddie comforts.

"I mean, shit, your amazing okay?? you are the strongest person I know and yeah sometimes it's all a little much, but you have got this you hear me? Eddie's eyes stare through you almost as he waits for you to respond

"You hear me darlin?" He tilts his head,

You nod

"and whenever your ready, I'll be here when you wanna talk about whats goin on in that pretty little head" he taps the top of your head lightly

"eddie you dont have to-

"No! Stop that! I want to, okay? Let me be here for you" it's not a question it's a statement.

"a-alright, if your sure" you mumble.

Eddie's face lights up, finally, he's broken through.

"One more thing, come on" he pushes off the table walking towards the basket he picks it up and spins round, pointing to the woods.

"im not going in there at this time!" You whispered, shocked

"I'll protect you" eddie says seriously, he comes to wrap his arms around your waist

" you promise?" You cling onto him,

"I promise"

The box shatters against the tree and Eddie whoops.

"Shh you'll wake someone up"

"This needed to be done, we have done a good deed okay I have been tripping over that thing for months" eddie groans

"HA! You tripped over it today didn't you"

"Nope, did not" eddie pouts making you giggle,

eddie sees the way your face lights up, the way your mouth twitches, and he's just happy he's the one that put a smile on your face.

hey I'm too shy to ask off anon but do you have tips on finding illustrator work in finland. I have zero marketable skills besides drawing but I have NO idea how to find people who want to hire me

OK SO IM SUPER W U im like ass at anything that isnt art, like, i tried a lot of other stuff before i succumbed to doing graphic design/art as a job bc i just did so bad at everything. Which, im sure ill be doing a bunch of other stuff on the side throughout my life because IT. IS NOT EASY!!! ITS A SUPER HARD JOB TO GET WORK IN!!! I mean im on the medicore side as an artist so it might just be me but LMFAO. I dont wanna scare you off but it is tough HOWEVER. yes there are things you can do ill readmore this tho

I think the easiest to get into IS like. private commission work. The usual "drawing ocs or fandom stuff" for people. It requires a lot of self marketing- building a platform, making your art a desirable object. Im planning personally 2 open comms again after my current gig is done, and ive been hearing good stuff about the small business options osuuspankki offers- re: being able to do the billing via paypal &helping w the taxing which makes overseas work a LOT easier to figure out. I cant swear on them personally tho since i have not used their services before, but i can give more info in abt a month when Im planning on looking into them more! So. Online market yourself. (you can ask further on this but this post would be too long if i get into that, also im not like a master of this), commission work. PRICE YOUR STUFF RIGHT, Look into how long it takes you to make your pieces and create an approx. price based on your hours spent working. And then price higher.

As for a lot of the stuff i do&post about here. I personally DID start w education, which, i am incredibly lucky I could. I studied graphic design/illustration in Ikaalinen, its a really great school which i can recommend if that is an option for you. I could talk abt it more but I think the main things i got from that education was a) making connections b) learning how printing works which is INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT. If you want to work in book illustrations which i have done, I recommend looking into the technical aspects of printing on your own. You can learn it online definetly. As for connections, thats a little tougher, but really anything beyond for me has been. Just making a portfolio & CV and emailing and asking for work. Its tedious and annoying but yeah.. Other options im aware of for illustration work is like. in advertizing (though its kinda rare to do ILLUSTRATION), game companies (theres a lot of other stuff you need 2 learn there tho)... Ik some ppl sell their illustrated products eg. stickers, prints etc, but idk anything abt that section. In finland its rly tough bc you rly dont. I like got curious and just googled "kuvitus töitä" and yeah theres just Nothing. It is abt looking for where illustrations could be (looking for small book publishers, looking for childrens books writers specifically and reaching out to them, etc etc) and reaching out and being a pushy bitch its AWFUL its my least favourite part of this job but it is. Yeah..

like sure, growing up interested in art means a lot of adults around you will be telling you its hopeless, because they think art is whats keeping you from being neurotypical or whatever

but like, i... do kinda blame the artists who are like "doing furry commissions for 50 dollars each and getting 3 a year is the only way to make money u will die broke if u pursue this dont be like me kid" because like that is not fucking true. for gods sakes you could at least open a redbubble, getting scammed out of most of the money is still better than making no money on the side. do tee shirts. do tattoo designs. do stickers and keychains. make mascots for people's teams and companies and whatever. make png art packs for digital scrapbooking. make coffee mugs. you can sell your art in all kinds of ways you HAVE to apply yourself where you can its literally doable stop telling kids they will make 300 dollars a year and die on the streets. do anything. "but the stuff i draw wont sell on those things" well im sorry but maybe you need to draw something crazy generic real quick. make a repeating print with 2 objects and sell it as everything on redbubble. advertise a little. maybe learn some new skills like how to use live2d and rig vtuber models, or just sell the chopped up non-rigged models. theres options. theres options please stop telling already usually struggling with their art newbies that there isnt. and stop acting like there isnt!

Just popping in to say that I'm so grateful for your offer to share the general notes about what happens in the fic!!! It's really kind of you, but I don't think it will be necessary, cuz I did manage to read through all of it today! I started with chapter 4, and then chapter 3, and so on. By starting from the end, from the chapters that had less focus on the pure angst and a bit more character interaction, I pinpointed which exact moment upset me so previously (end of chapter 1 and then beginning of chapter 2), and so I just skipped that part and I was all good ^.^

And I feel like your reassurance about the happy ending helped a lot too! This kind of makes the fic feel less... cold and detached from reality? In a way? I'm not sure how to word this, but learning that you are an absolute sweetheart of a person means a lot to me and made me feel safer when reading ^.^

ALSO, unrelated, but I own the exact kind of scissors you showed in the scrapbooking post, I feel like I should inform you of that hahaha

Fr outfits its good to make everything visible with as much even space between them as possible! Overlapping or random bubbles of empty space between objects/clothes can totally make the board hard to take in! Oh also avoid using blank white backgrounds! It just makes the picture feel emptier and unfinished! If you use white you could add visual affects like stickers to fill it up!

Some key tags fr PicsArt: ageregression, agereg, babycore, softcore, nostalgia, kidcore, any random aesthetics you can think of like cottagecore or grunge or fairy! You could also look at little space but ppl in nsfw/kink circles tend to be the ones using that tag so I avoid it personally and can't say exactly what you will find there!

que placer leer una pieza tan claramente escrita por alguien bilingüe, el cambio del inglés al español en diálogo se siente tan nuestro, en vez de tener esa textura alien del latinismo pre-fabricado.

la caracterización personalmente me pareció hecha con cariño y cuidado, lo cual aprecio muchísimo porque no hay mejor cosa en un fic que leer las micro-expresiones que uno por su cuenta nota en pantalla. (sobbing) that's my little guy and their shit-eating grin etc etc

extrañaba a estos personajes y la verdad no esperaba reencontrarnos de esta forma, pero honestamente me encantó- un pairing que no se me había cruzado por la cabeza pero que funcionaría 100% en el canon.

2: Can they take care of a plant? What about a pet? What about a child?

Elsie: plant, possibly. i could definitely see them having a succulent or two, maybe a cactus. maybe they’d forget to water it every now and then but other than that they’d do well. a pet, yes, they have a cat; a sphinx named stinky (after the animal crossing villager). they’ve also owned rats in the past and did pretty well with them! a child… not in the present moment, but once they get to a better mental state then absolutely. right now it would be too big a commitment but give them a few years

Aidan: a plant, uhhh good question LMAO i mean he’s an earthmancer so you’d think so but it’s aidan… would he care enough to take care of a plant… it’s possible but god i don’t know kajdjdkf. a pet, yeah, he does have a chihuahua named cujo, and xe does a good job caring for her. cujo is aidans one and only soft spot, like nothing else in this world matters except her. a child, absolutely the fuck not LMAO like he’s not one of those people who hates kids or whatever like he’s fine with kids but xe’s more of a grouchy drunk uncle than a full on full time parent

Keith: plant, probably not. he would forgeg. pet, yeah he takes care of his pit bull, helena (named after the mcr song) really well, but a small pet? god no lmao he doesn’t have the attention span to remember to clean the habitat (i don’t use the word cage, personally, it feels wrong on my tongue idk). he’d love to have a pair of rabbits but he probably shouldn’t lmao. a child, surprisingly, yes! he was such a substitute dad to his sister veronica that he has a general idea of how to care for kids, and he really wants to be a dad so he’d put in the work and research and whatnot to make sure he does it right

8: Do complex puzzles intrigue or frustrate them?

Elsie: definitely intrigue, but up to a certain point. they can be patient for maybe ten minutes before being like “fuck this shit” kajddkkfkf

Aidan: oh he gets so fucking frustrated lmao he has the patience of a… creature with very little patience. xe’s impatient is what im saying kskdkdkf

Keith: keith has like. all the patience in the fucking world. he spent probably an entire month, maybe more, trying to solve a rubick’s cube without help. he was determined to solve it himself. he eventually worked out the math involved and once it clicked he solved it in… idk an hour? how long do rubick’s cubes take ive never solved one LMAO

9: Do they empathize with non-sentient things (dolls, plants, books…)?

my hatred for the word empathy aside-

Elsie: they’re canonically posic! which stands for “perception of object sentience, individuality, and consciousness”. basically they perceive inanimate objects as having some form of sentience. not necessarily every object, but any object! so yeah basically lmao it’s especially prevalent in objects like stuffed animals, porcelain dolls, figurines, and technology (computers, handheld devices, stuff like that). their companion is a pink 3ds! it’s covered in stickers :33

Aidan: there’s only one object he connects with in that way, and it’s xyr grandfathers flask. aidan loved his grandfather, even if xe doesn’t remember him well now (he died when aidan was five, almost six). he feels like the flask, in some way, contains his grandfathers essence? not literally but. sentimentally. this is the flask

Keith: he doesn’t consciously do so, but he’ll say shit like “i have to buy this mug, it’s the last one on the shelf and it’s lonely :(“ in all sincerity. he also loves collecting things to add to the object “family” as he puts it. he collects so much shit. especially the tabs on cans of monster energy. but that’s not so much a love of objects thing that’s just a Keith Thing

22: Do they like being called pet names? Do they call other people pet names? What’s their go-to?

Elsie: being called pet names, it honestly depends on the person. elsie needs to trust you hardcore before you can call them pet names. and they don’t really use pet names cos it feels unnatural in a way

Aidan: if you call him anything other than aidan xe will cut you. searra calls him dan as a way of antagonizing xem. he doesn’t care for it

Keith: his girlfriend rosita calls him pet names in spanish 🥰 cariño and mi sol are the most common, but she also loves calling him príncipe, amorcito, stuff like that. keith has been learning spanish and he’s… trying. he’s at about my level. so. barely okay! lmao and he loves calling rosita pet names, and tries to sound as sappy and cheesy as humanly possible, like intentionally vomit inducing. think “cutie patootie” but like times a million. “cutesy shmoopsie pie with a cherry on top”. it drives rosita insane and he weaponizes this
