🔥 FEATURE FRIDAY 🔥⁣ ⁣ “The hardest thing about getting started is getting started. ⁣ ⁣ For the last 12 years, in any photo I’ve been in you can tell I’m hiding. It’s either a selfie or a photo where my body is behind another person or object.⁣ ⁣ When Lucy asked for my progress photos my immediate reaction was no way. I was willing to do the workouts, eat the food (I knew she was going to make me eat donuts) and join the coaching calls but photos were not going to be something I did.⁣ ⁣ Lucy held my hand and talked me through this part and we decided that it was time to stop hiding. It was time to show my body. And so we flipped the switch. We hid my face instead of my body. All nutritional strategies (better term that diets) have their advantages and disadvantages. What works for some of you won’t work for others. As January is coming to a close....how many of you set yourself a news years resolution and are still on track? - Yes. Good keep going. - No. Did any of these happen. Did you have a long day at work, you just can’t make it to the gym, or you end up eating an entire pizza just by accident. - Now, you his could of happened for 2 main reasons. 1️⃣ your NOT ready to change 2️⃣ you set too big a goal and went after it like a bull at a gate. - Now let’s keep this simple and just look at the second one. Some people may have set themselves a goal to loss a stone. But not planned how they are a going to get there and the timeframe it would take. When they see a stall or nothings really changing they give up. - Now what if j broke that down to smaller manageable chunks. Like 0.1lbs. for a weightloss client 0.1lbs Which doesn’t sound alot. But think about what will happen over time. in a year i will be 30lb so the weightloss client will have lost 30lbs. - Be consistent, Reverse engineer (don’t worry when If first heard this phrase I thought WTF) and keep plugging away and your efforts will pay off. - Now I have set myself a goal to be better as a coach by 0.1% everyday. #Repost @sam_xceedfit (@get_repost) ・・・ 💥Eating out at Pizza Express 💥 . . 🍕I was very fortunate over the weekend to be invited to eat at @pizzaexpressuae and try out their menu to see what the best choices are for eating there (shout out to @samcharlesy for the invite). Obviously it's a pretty big menu, but I made a few comparisons in the graphic that should help you keep within your daily calories and not ruin your progress . . 🍞Starter wise, unless you're going with a small bowl of olives, the garlic bread with mozzarella is a decent bet especially when compared with the calamari, for example . 🍕Pizza Express do a great pizza called the Leggera, which is your normal Pizza but with the middle cut out and replaced with salad. As you can see when compared to the romana version it's a lot less calories and you're still getting some pizza too! Win win 🤗 . 🥗Lastly, I was a big fan of their Superboost salad full of nutritious foods and really tasty. It was pretty filling too and comes in at a lot lower calories then the Grand Caesar salad (with the bread), for example. Yum yum 😋 . . 🔹So there's my mini review of some of the dishes at Pizza Express. There's definitely more healthy choices too so like anywhere else, you can enjoy eating out whilst making smart food choices too 👍 . . 👫Tag a friend who enjoys eating at Pizza Express. Friday night & I just left a boxing class, am about to cook dinner at home, & go to a movie🍿by myself.. .
