nanami kento x reader, pokémon au, wc: 1,095

reader is a psychic gym leader and nanami is a ranger. this part is a flashback explaining their shared history. thank you to @strawberrystepmom for inspiring this little series 💜

Many years ago…

You and Nanami are in the park, enjoying the bentos you packed for lunch while sharing easy conversation. Once you’re meals are finished you lie with your backs against the grass and watch white fluffy clouds make their way lazily across the sky above Saffron City.

“I’ve been accepted to the psychic training school,” you say.

Nanami hums. His eyes are closed as he basks in the afternoon sunshine. “Didn’t I say you would be?”

“Yeah, but it’s Sabrina.” Your words are a whisper, doubt creeping into every syllable. “She’s close to our age and already one of the best.”

“And you will be too,” Nanami reassures in his usual steady cadence that you find so soothing. You’re both only teens now but you’re certain as he grows older his voice will only get richer. You often wonder what it will sound like.

Tilting your head toward him, you notice his hair is getting longer. Side swept bangs cover nearly the entire right side of his face. “You think so?”

“From my limited knowledge on psychic abilities it seems you’re already showing promising skill. Having proper training will only help you reach your full potential.”

You grin at his practical evaluation. “I’ve got potential, huh?”

“Of course. Just…” Nanami’s eyes drift to the side, catching yours already looking at him. He shifts his hand so that the tip of his pinky touches yours. “Be careful. Sabrina may be gifted but she doesn’t have the best social reputation.”

“As long as I have you I’ll be okay.” You move your hand to rest on top of his, making his ears blush pink. “We’ll always be friends, won’t we?”

“Always,” Nanami says confidently.

“Okay, enough of the mushy stuff.” You smile at him, then turn on your side to face him fully. “How has your training been at the Dojo?”

You run straight home and use your video phone machine to call Nanami. When he picks up you can’t hold in your squeal of excitement.

“I take it something good happened today,” Nanami comments. His hair is damp and there’s a towel around his neck. You must have caught him right after a shower.

“Something great!” you exclaim. “Sabrina chose me to be her direct pupil.”

“Well done. You’ve been working really hard.”

“I’ve felt her close by since I’ve started at the school. But I never thought she would choose me.” You’re so excited that it’s hard to stop smiling, even with the ache settling into your cheeks. “We should go out and celebrate. It’s been a while since we got together.”

“Sounds good.” Nanami nods. “I’m fine with wherever.”

“Yay!” You throw your hand up in a cheer. You lean forward to get closer to the screen. “Oh, and tell Yu to come too.”

Nanami frowns, slightly, but you catch the shift in his expression. “What for?”

“I miss him, too.”

“Sure,” he says. “I’ll tell him.”

“Aw, did you want me all to yourself?”

Nanami’s eyes widen and now there is a very obvious pout on his lips.

“It’s okay, Ken.” You chuckle. “Next time will just be the two of us.”

Something is wrong.

Nanami doesn’t hear from you for months. Calls go unanswered and eventually your messages promising to meet up stop altogether.

It isn’t until the competition between your respective gyms to determine which is to be the official gym of the city that he sees you. And he instantly knows that something is really wrong.

You stand beside Sabrina wearing a hard expression. Your eyes don’t seek him out the way Nanami’s do. In fact, you don’t even acknowledge him until the battle pairings are announced.

Cold, unfamiliar eyes lock onto his when you’re named his opponent. He’s always known your abilities would grow, but even he is taken aback by the intensity of your changed presence. You’re surrounded by an aura of maturity that seems to have sprung itself up in a short amount of time.

Nanami follows your lead and doesn’t approach, not until you’re on opposite sides of the battle court and he summons Hitmonchan to go against your Gothitelle. Nanami braces himself, an unsettling feeling forming in his gut. This won’t end well.

For him.

Not unexpectedly, the Dojo suffers a swift defeat. Nanami seeks solace in the comfort of his room where he lies on his bed with a towel over his eyes while Yu lounges in his desk chair.

The match against you was brutal. You didn’t hold back as you directed Gothitelle to victory. His fighting type didn’t stand a chance against your psychic, and ultimately Hitmonchan could not overcome any of your attacks.

Nanami’s head aches as he contemplates the relationship with his Pokémon. He didn’t like how it felt as he watched Hitmonchan take such a hard beating. Nanami couldn’t help him on that court, no matter how much he wishes he could have. There’s only so much training he can give until it’s time for them to stand on their own.

But is that all he’s meant to do? Train Pokémon and stand by while they fight alone on the battle court? Nanami always thought he was helping his Pokémon, making them stronger. But maybe it was time to decide if this is the really best way for him to nurture Pokémon.

Yu has been training to become a Ranger, often suggesting Nanami consider becoming one as well. Perhaps that’s a route he should consider.

“She didn’t seem like herself,” Yu comments as he sips from the juice box he got on the way over.

“Because she wasn’t.”

“I’ve heard Sabrina’s gym was intense, but…” Yu pauses. He says your name, forlorn. “I never thought she was capable of being so ruthless.”

Nanami sighs. “Neither did I.”

“You should talk to her.”

“I’ve tried,” Nanami grumbles. “She doesn’t answer any of my calls.”

“So try something different.” Yu’s voice is light, as if the answer is so very simple. He tosses an unopened juice box onto Nanami’s stomach. “Go see her.”

Yu is probably right, Nanami thinks to himself. After all you and Nanami made a promise to each other, so an effort has to be made to keep that promise intact.

It’s another month until Nanami is able to set aside his pride and go see you. But he’s in disbelief when your home is empty and your neighbor tells him you’ve left the city. And in that moment Nanami feels a hardness forming around his heart, sealing away the promise made between once devoted friends.

Hello, everyone, hoping that this start of Autumn is being good for you!

I've been a little busy dealing with mental health and quotidian stuff but over two thirds of the next part of the comic of Soul(mate)s of Light has been already developed. Thank you for your patience once again, expect its upload in the near future once it's ready to show.

In order to maintain the focus on the comic strips creation I'm re-opening the Ask box for a very short time once again. This post will be updated as soon the inbox gets closed.

After validating the questions of 5 different users made that include at least one to AU characters I'll temporarily close the Ask box once more. First come, first served. So if you were saving questions in the meantime, hurry up and ask them now while slots are available!

BEFORE SENDING AN ASK:

Last time in August when I was checking the pending messages and validating the questions that were suitable for replies I’ve observed a few things that I want to bring out some attention, as well reminding about a few factors:

There were users not respecting the “Maximum three character-directed questions per user” rule. Please consider there are other people that send questions and it’s not fair for them to have to wait longer because somebody made more asks.

For a better management of posts, I also want to ask to please make those three questions in a single post whenever it’s possible instead of sending them separately.

If someone sends me more than 3 character-directed questions per wave of replies, I’ll either only respond to the three first questions and suppress the others, or select the best 3 questions of that message.

Please don’t ask the characters questions about crossovers with IRL IPs unrelated with Pokémon. It’s 99% certain I won’t answer them. I reinforce that I reserve the right to not reply to questions that I find them inadequate to my AU standards or for other reasons not listed in the rules.

Although I don’t forbid questions done to characters that aren’t part of the main/secondary cast of the AU story, please consider that questions made to characters outside that circle are subjected to be unanswered if I conclude that replying them doesn’t bring anything relevant either to the readers or to the AU itself.

If the Ask Button isn’t available it’s because I’m not accepting character-directed asks at the moment. Do not use this thread to send character-directed asks. Please wait for a reopening and save your questions for next time! 😊

Author-directed questions are quicker to be replied than character-directed ones (especially if there's no character-directed ask included in the entire message). If I see it helps to speed up the inbox cleanup I can consider giving priority to answer this type of questions.

A reminder about the original rules to also be considered

Be polite, don't use foul language/swearing.

SFW asks, only! NSFW asks will never be replied.

Gore scenarios are very unlikely to be replied or if it involves a trigger subject that requires a real graphical depicting as well.

I reserve the right to not reply to a character ask if I find it inappropriate or for any other reason not mentioned here.

Maximum three character-directed questions per user. If author-directed questions are included alongside with character-directed questions, please don’t surpass 3 character questions and 2 author questions (making it a total of 5 questions per user).

Due to my personal life and the development of a new comic, replies to the asks won’t have a fixated deadline to be developed and published. Please be patient!

If I find the asks to be suitable for replying I might take some time to draw the character answers since it's something I have to do in parallel with ongoing projects like AU comics or illustrations (and there's my personal life to consider as well, of course!).

The more questions in the same ask message I receive, the more time I'll need to draw them as well since I have to submit every answer on the same post!

I give priority to draw answers for the asks I receive first in my inbox. Asks sent after someone has done it first will be in the drawing queue.

While I don't discard the possibility of drawing replies to questions directed to characters that don't have much relevance to the AU I can consider to do them if I conclude it's doable. However, I recommend that the questions are done for characters that are more prominent to the story.

I highly advice that the questions are asked in English, although I understand questions done in Portuguese or Spanish without having to use automatic translators for other languages.

Are they just random designs? Or are they based on something? If yes on what is each Mewtwo based on?

Ooo this is a fun one.

To start. Eve was the first ever made! She has a specific role that won’t come in for a very long time on my first blog @megamew-and-crew as she’s the cross-universe Newtwo to Stone as Mewtwo and Meg as the mew.

I liked her so much I started thinking of what her home universe was like, and that while she’s the newtwo archetype of THAT story what was she in her home world? And I came up with the idea that she’s the youngest and most genetically stable of the Mewtwos experiments.

By that point I’d had some fun in a private mew/two server I joined and had adopted Glimmer, Annie and 9 first. I didn’t have a plan for them until it just sorta clicked. Mostly thinking about how they’d reach a mewtwo that can evolve other Pokémon.

This the line up was started! 9 and glimmer being humans turned into twos and partners was immediate at adoption actually and was the next solid thing, with Annie being a non-human based clone ((the drawings I did to claim and adopt them below!))

From there I would make or adopt mewtwo based on ideas I had for characters in this genetics facility run by Corperation X.

The most fun one was Tyler! I actually didn’t make his initial story or design that was all @pokemon-ash-aus I love the nerdy boy and he’s a great intern/assistant turned mewtwo X3

Sage was made by a now deleted but ultra adorable mewtwo adopt blog specifically to be one of the clone-twos, I adore her and I’m glad to have her.

So we end with the final line up as I chose to fill out the rest myself since I had a clear idea of the world and characters! So One, Rue, Sam/Gemini, and Maria are all my designs alone.

Then. Came. The Mews.

It started with the idea I already had. That the donor of the DNA was a tricked willing participant. But I’m still not that confident with my designs even now I made a trade for a mew that could have influence all these Mewtwo and was given Donor by @mew-dump and I made her accessories from there ( ^w^ )

The rest I’ve been either adopting or making, mostly adopting XD, to fill out a big family tree!

I won’t lie it’s absolutly inspired by @the-mew-crew to have the mews from the second to fourth generation be different typings but with my own twist! They created the typings themselves making Pokémon!

The created famewly tree was to explain the idea I had in the first place that the mew lose DNA stability the more they create and the further each generation goes. It was to explain why in the world a mew would go to humans willingly. Now it’s rolled out and with tons of little stories I plan to do later when Donor visits around her family X3

Parent Support Group AU

Time to move onto the kiddos.

You can find the info about the parents here. Also check the reblogs of the post too because I added some parents through that.

Let’s start with ages

Peter: infant (no older than 1 but probably younger)

Kugel: Also an infant like Peter

Luxembourg (I don’t have a human name for him): 2

Ludwig: 3/4

Erika (Liechtenstein): 4

Feliciano: 4

Alfred and Matt: 5

Emma (Belgium): 5

Kiku: 6

Romano: 6

I’m also adding Emil: 15/16 and he volunteers at the daycare portion of the meeting because he needs a certain amount of hours to graduate.

Okay with that out of the way. Let’s get into what it’s like for these kids at the daycare. Basically whenever a new parent joins the group they introduce the kids to each other before heading to their meeting.

Arthur is still fairly new to the group like Gilbert and Gilbert is wearing a t-shirt with a band Arthur likes so maybe he’s finally found a possible friend in this sea of parents who look at him like he’s a fuck up (they actually don’t, but he thinks he’s a fuck up so he thinks everyone else sees him like that). Anyway, Arthur tries to get the boys together but Alfred refuses to come away from the toys so it’s just Matthew and Ludwig who are introduced to each other at first.

Arthur warns that Matthew is shy and doesn’t talk much and Gilbert assures him “it’s okay. Luddy here is the same.”

And the little boys instantly connect. No words. Not even gestures. There is just this unspoken understanding that “Hey! You’re like me.” And they go off together. Ludwig plays with blocks while Matt plays with some plastic animals. Ludwig gets excited and shows Mattie his tower. Aww maybe Ludwig builds Matthew’s animals houses.

Feliciano and Alfred probably also gravitate to each other because they are both bubbly and talkative. Though Feli ends up making friends with everyone to some extent. Feli is probably how Alfred got introduced to everyone.

Alfred and Kiku bond over Pokémon and become like best friends despite Kiku being wary of him at first. Kiku already has a massive collection and he brings it to show Alfred and Al is just floored. Al probably only knows the anime, so Kiku maybe gives Al a card to get him started.

Like I said in another post I think things are actually tense between Feli and Ludwig at first because Feli doesn’t know how to approach Ludwig without making him uncomfortable. Thinking more about it, I’m thinking maybe the two of them finally make a break through one day when Matt has to stay home sick and Ludwig is devastated. Feliciano can tell he’s very upset and wanted to do something. He’s picked up on how Matthew and Ludwig play: not really together but they do an activity beside each other and occasionally come together to show what they are doing. So Feli suggests that he and Ludwig should make get well cards for Matthew and give them to Mr. Kirkland before he and Al leave. So Feli and Ludwig draw for most of their time together. Feli even teaches him how to draw some things. Drawing eventually becomes something they do together regularly.

Erika for awhile was the only girl. She played with Feli and Kiku sometimes, but often times she stuck to Erzsébet’s side and helped her get snacks and stuff. Eventually a new parent comes in and brings along another little girl named Emma. Erika is shy and worries that she won’t make a good first impression. Luckily Erzse helps them break the ice.

Lux is really young so it’s hard to play with the other kids sometimes. There is not much else I can say right now other than that he always follows his big sister around.

While everyone breaks off into friend groups, Roma is kind of left out. Everyone seems to get along, some of course hang out with others more, but no one ever seems to want to hang out with Roma. Emil sees this and keeps him company when he can. Roma thinks Emil is so cool because he’s a teenager and wants to hangout with him.

But now I feel bad Roma doesn’t have kids around his age to hangout with...Hmm...I guess we could get Afonso and Antonio in here? WAIT NO! We can do Carlos (Cuba). Carlos and him bond. And then Roma gets to know Mattie because Carlos is also friends with Mattie. I don’t know who will be Carlos’s guardian but we’ll figure it out later

Emil really doesn’t want to be there tbh. He’s a teen after all. But he needs volunteer hours for high school and since his uncles are the ones running it, it was an easy in. The kids like him though because he talks to them like their people (I don’t know if this makes sense, but you know how some adults talk to kids and like...talk down to them. Not on a purposefully malicious way, but like...they talk very differently to kids and it’s like they don’t understand what kids are capable of). But I think it would be cute if he warms up to the position and when he’s deciding on what he wants to do after high school he decides to be a teacher or work in child care in some way.

Not a request, as you said those are closed, but a scenario that the reader-falls-through-the-screen part of the #self aware au brought to my mind. Personally, if I ended up in Hisui by mistake, I’d be in severe trouble. I’m not in the best of health, and so I take a bunch of medications daily. Aside from being necessary to keep me functional, several of those meds make a person extremely sick if they are stopped abruptly.

So if I were to wake up in Hisui, the first thought (after the whole ‘omg I’m in the Pokémon world’ freak out) that would go through my head would be something on the order of “I have 48 hours, maaaybe 72, to get back home before the side effects kick in and I’m in serious trouble. Crap.”

Given that I, as the reader, would probably have mentioned my med regimen to Ingo as we would be at least friends by this point, he would probably understand why I’d be a bit less than likely to engage in anything more spicy than a “omg it’s you thank you for saving me!” hug. Of course, even that would depend on when during that time he found me. At least the wild Pokémon would be quick.

I’m fairly certain Ingo would do everything possible to get me home, but if this is before he has found a way out through the screen, would could he possibly do? I had vague ideas of him going to Akari/Rei and asking Arceus for help, but that’s where my mind sputtered out for this plot. I might come back to chew on it later, but as is was inspired by your AU, I thought I’d share.

Omg that is very true. I have really bad migraines, and need to take medication for them constantly, or else they just get worse until they make me pass out. I also have to eat and take certain stuff in general, and just popping into HIsui would very much nearly kill me if I didn't have the stuff with me. Thankfully though, If you fell into Hisui with Ingo still in there, he'd probably know immediately. He can sense everything in the code, and you being there would be like an alarm going off in his head. He'd be overjoyed to see you! And he'd love to have you stay with him, and him take care of you, and maybe even more... ....But if you need medication, he's immediately at your side, trying to help get you home. He would not risk your health. He has a faint idea how important specific medications are, and how dropping them out of nowhere can be awful health wise. In some cases, even deadly. He would not risk that with you. If Ingo didn't already know how to go through the screen, you can bet he would be on it. Now that he didn't have you worrying about his safety as much with the code, and your health was on the line, he wouldn't hold back. Besides, if you were able to fall through the screen, surely there must be a way back out?

Expect him to have it done in about 3 days, tops. He'll work overtime, just to make sure you are happy, healthy, and safe. ...But surely, you won't mind if he follows you into your world, right? Especially after he worked so hard to get you home? I'm glad my AU inspired you! I hope to see more from you in the future! ヾ(•ω•`)o

Rambling Family Headcanons for my AU

(FYI, Ive never seen anime Iris, so just doing my own thing based on my interpretation of the games and fanon family ideas)

So I’m now that I’m aware that Iris is in fact Hop and Leon’s cousin, and that means she’s also a descendant of Professor Laventon!

And, because I love the idea of Iris being Draydens granddaughter, and the idea of Ingo and Emmet being Draydens nephews, this most likely means that Ingo and Emmet could have met Leon and Hop before. Which gives me a few ideas

First off, Ingo has been in Hisui for over two years at the time of Akari’s arrival and then just over three years at the time that the two return to Sinnoh. This means that at the time of his return Iris will be 15, and since the events of Sw/Sh will have already happed, let’s put Hop at 16 and Leon at 24. This puts Hop and Iris very close in age and Ingo and Emmet at 5 years older then Leon.

Now, I could see Leon and Hop family coming out to visit Iris side of the family so the boys can meet their new cousin. At this family reunion lil 9 year old Leon meets and then follows around his twin 14 year old cousins. The two have just finished their Pokémon journey and are delighted to tell him all about it. They defeated each gym and the elite four individually, and then faced off against the Unovan champion together! They lost that last battle, but they both declare it to be the best battle of their lives and are excited to share every detail of it. Emmet also tells him how amazing double and multi battles are and how he wants find a battling career in them, which Ingo fully supports. (During the visit they also battle each other a couple times to Leon’s delight, and then show him their model train collection.)

Leon gets so inspired by the twins during that visit that he insists on setting out on his Pokémon journey the moment he’s old enough! Which is how, not even a year later, he became Galar’s youngest champion at only 10 years old. His Unovan relatives are all very proud of him and Ingo & Emmet really want to battle their little cousin next time they see him.

Unfoutunatly, due to the duties of being a champion and wanting to support his family, Leon never gets the chance to return to Unova and battle his cousins. Meanwhile Ingo and Emmet are working to achieve their dreams at getting jobs at the battle subway.

Iris and Hop do get to see each other a few more times in their early childhood, usually when Iris’s family came to visit. Occasionally Leon even made it home in time to see his little cousin too. But then after Iris parents died(?idk I found NOTHING on them) when she was 7 she moved in with their Grandpa in Opelucid City, the Dragon Gym leader Drayden. Then at age 10 she had her own journey and defeated their grandfather in battle, inheriting his gym title.

Her cousins were very proud when they learned this and Hop just got even more impatient with his folks for insisting he wait a few more years before going off on his own Journey. (His family wanted him to enjoy his childhood fully since Leon couldn’t)

Then, two years later, at age 12 Iris became Champion of her region just as her eldest cousin did in his own. This fed Hops growing inferiority complex, doubling the pressure not only to live up to his brother legacy, but also to do as well as his younger cousin too.

As for Leon, since the two are the first cousin champions, the media insist on a photo op of them. Not trusting Leon to not get lost traveling to Unova, Iris came out to Galar, getting to see her cousin for the first time in years. She’s taken to see Leon in Wyndon and they do the media thing and get some pictures taken. Leon wants them to head back and see the Hop and the family together, reconnect and all that, but then Chairmen Rose steps in and insist that Leon needs to come with him instead. Leon assures Rose he’s coming but still makes sure to walk Iris out to the car waiting for her so he can tell his cousin goodbye. Iris tells him that if he can ever escape to Unova, she and him could do the Multi Train challenge together, give their cousins a battle to remember. Leon laughs and assures her that they will, someday. (Iris then spends the weekend with Hop & fam and is completely enamored with his Wooloo and the calm countryside)

(Additionally, Iris adores her ‘uncles’ Ingo and Emmet, she would often mtake the subway challenges and they would all have a blast battling each other. They would try to keep a tally of wins and losses between them. Some times Iris would bring along Drayden or Elesa to battle with her on the Multi-line. It’s family bonding at its finest among trainers as serious about battling as them.)

It’s not even a year later that the news reaches Galar the one of Unova’s Subway Masters has vanished. Hop knows that he has some kind of family relation with the twins but was too young to remember them himself. Leon meanwhile is floored. Because while he had only known the two for under a week when he was 9, he never forgot how supportive they were with him. How they took his battle ideas seriously and were excited to share their hobbies with him. They’re journey had been a big part what inspired him to take his own pokemon journey so soon. And now Ingo has gone missing… He wants to reach out to Emmet but also has no idea what to say.

It’s two years into Ingo’s disappearance, Leon has passed his title as Champion onto Hops friend, Gloria, changed the Rose Tower into the Battle Tower, and declined the offer to become the new chairmen (LET THE GUY HAVE A BREAK). And most importantly, he’s been spending more time with his younger brother again. This mostly includes popping up unexpectedly at Sonia‘s lab to ask what new thing they’re studying, but he loves how exasperated Hop now gets with him.

MEANWHILE

Ingo meets Laventon and gets the oddest feeling that he’s met him before but also not at all. It’s too vague to ever attach a clear thought to but it’s there.

Then, the first time Akari calls him ‘uncle Ingo’ he swears he heard it in another girls voice. He pauses, trying to think of the voice again, recall a face to go with it, but there’s nothing. Akari snaps him out of it, asking if he’s alright and if he’d prefer she not call him that. Ingo rushes to assure her it’s alright, and that he’s honored that she’d want to address him as such. He just almost remembered someone, that’s all. Akari understands and hopes that perhaps she’ll remind him more of this person if they were as close to him as she is.

So, I thought I’d probably be best to just make a pinned post with some info so I’m not just a void who throws art a a wall. (I’m probably gonna edit as things change) But here we go:

My name is D, sometimes people still call me Fay, I don’t mind that either

I’m 22 years old

I use they/them pronouns, I’m fine with he/him too. I’d call myself nonbinary or even agender, leaning towards the masc side. It’s a struggle

Additionally to that, I am ace and my romantic attraction is 🤷🏼. I like androgyny and femininity if that says anything lmao

I have a hypermobilty condition, thus, my physical health is very inconsistent. Sometimes I feel fine for weeks, sometimes I can barely move my arms. Luckily, I don’t dislocate easily, I mostly get joint pain, pinched nerves, random bruises and badly healing wounds. Additionally, I seem to have a mild variant of long covid, which is making my lungs weak, so sometimes physical activities winds me badly even though it’s not hard work.

I am autistic and only found out around 2 years ago, thus, school burned me out! I was bullied by my teachers and they ignored all the signs of a struggling student, so I developed bad social anxiety (added by other events with former friends and general genetics probably). I took a year off of art to focus on getting a better mindset, and I guess I’ve been back since this year.

I am a clumsy and unlucky person, that’s why I say I am like Xie Lian a lot (send me a Hua Cheng)

I like k-pop. Currently, I like BTS, TXT, SKZ, LE SSERAFIM, New Jeans, Red Velvet and SHINee.

Other artists I like are: Tatsuya Kitani, Eve, The Oral Cigarettes, Vaundy, King Gnu, Queen Bee and MCR (what a mix)

I write my own stories and am working on an AU that includes many fantastical being, though I am not entirely sure if that’s ever gonna see the light of day bc I don’t see anyone caring about my writing lol (it already has 137.000 words I’m not even joking it’s not funny, why am I writing this)

I’m sure I’ll post more of my OC’s when I find the time. My favorite is Harumi, he’s the main character in the fantastic beings AU, as a werewolf

I am so sorry my humor is super trauma based, bare with me it’s okay to laugh at my pain, it’s how I process, I swear

My favorite food is anything indian (especially aloo mutter, I bathe in that), pizza (only the one I make), and (red) thai curry.

That’s the only thing that sets me apart from Xie Lian, I eventually did learn how to cook and apparently people like my food!! (I add cinnamon and chili to everything, maybe that’s the key?)

I love building lego and organizing things by category (why I didn’t get diagnosed with asd is beyond me, I’ve always been like that)

I mostly draw on an Ipad with procreate, but I wanna get into watercolor and copics too, I just feel like I’m wasting the suff when things don’t turn out how I wanted them to be

I am horrible at texting and get anxious over it

I had another account here I was running for years, but I was in a pretty icky fandom and didn’t want to associate with the reputation that came with it, thus, I left. I am not the stupid, hurt and depressed teenager I was anymore, and that’s great!

I am german, though, I speak English so much I might as well be a native speaker

Well, How I Became a Pokemon Card is pretty damn obscure as far as Pokemon media is concerned. But I never know how to gauge how much people are aware of stuff like that existing. And I mean, Giovanni has been a character who's existed for some 25 years. There's a lot of little neat and weird things you can learn about him if you dig enough. :p

In that original ask, I was going to attach images from the scanlations, but decided against it. But hell. Why not? I'll toss them on here!

Little baby Giovanni playing with a toy Pokeball (already showing a preference for ground-types... And maybe being an asshole by using Sand Attack), and then the image of Giovanni as a teenager. Which always amuses me. Man's hair is almost as long as he is tall!

... Also my brain only just connected the dots and I just remembered that the canon trans character from How I Became a Pokemon Card... His name is Akari... I really AM bad with names! I literally pulled his Bulbapedia page up and didn't connect the kinda hilarious dots while staring at his name! Maybe he SHOULD be in the Pingo AU! Just because it would be funny to see the confusion!

And ReBurst! Yeah, it's sorta about people fused with Pokemon, but the fusions are very much voluntary and temporary. I've jokingly described it in the past as 'Pokemon's magical girl manga.' It's a shonen so it's actually not that, but hey! Main character is going around, trying to help people, solve problems, take down an evil organization, and he has a magical transformation sequence where he fuses with Zekrom! Close enough to the genre to me! Just on the edgy side!

Thank you for attaching some images! Man seeing Giovanni as a kid is strange to me haha. He certainly acts different than he grew up to be. And look at teenage Giovanni wow!! That hair!! He certainly looks ‘dark and brooding’!

and REALLY?? Wow!! TWO Akaris! Imagine Akari meeting Akari haha. That’s so interesting, perhaps he should!!

“Pokemon’s magical girl manga but edgy” seems like a pretty good way to describe what I’ve seen of ReBurst haha. After you mentioned it I browsed through some content for it for a bit!

I feel like that you intentionally stopped to continue with the fourth encounter for now to show us all the previous encounter drawn to increase the impact of this encounter. (Or that this encounter just takes so much longer considering the amount of detail you always use, either way I love all the updates on this au)

Can we just take a moment to talk about how the Woodsman lights up at the mention of Lady Sneasler? I feel like we are just getting a brief glimpse of the Ingo we all know here. He is usually buried so deep under the pressure and stress of maintaining the Lamp, loneliness, a lot of guilt, sadness and anger.

The few tears he sheds are also proof of that. He regrets his actions so much but maintaining the lamp has become his sole priority because of the failure of saving his brother and the hope of maintaining his soul in the lamp would make up for his ultimate failure. (or so he was told and make to believe)

Emmet really does challenge the Woodsman in all of their encounter and actually reaching Ingo more and more until he actually managed to get trough, hitting him with the reality the Woodsman fought hard against and bringing back up Ingo who is going to try and make it up to Emmet (after saving him and also becoming aware of the cruel reality of the origin of the Edelwood) by challenging the Beast. Likely already ready to make a sacrifice for Emmet and everyone he had wronged in the past.

I love this AU so much! It has so much darkness and angst but in such an entertaining way. This is the ultimate test to the brotherly bond between Ingo and Emmet. Their brotherly love for each other is stronger than everything the unknown has to offer even if we have close calls.

Thank you for the update and I’m looking forward to seeing the next one! (I know it’s definitely going to go south again in the second encounter… very south. But I’m here for it!)

Deep down, the Woodsman is still very much the same old Ingo. He still cares deeply about the people and Pokémon he left behind and that will never change no matter how much he isolates himself from them in favor of his duties. Even this little bit of news about his former Noble’s well-being is such a relief that he briefly forgets all of his antagonism towards Emmet. Ingo is still in there under the layers of pain and guilt and anger, but reaching that part him is truly a battle.

Lucky for him, Emmet is stubborn as hell. After all, he likes winning more than anything else and winning back his brother’s trust is a challenge he refuses to turn down. He knows him inside and out, amnesia be damned. Emmet definitely could have eventually convinced the Woodsman of the truth if the Edelwood burn hadn’t robbed him of his willpower.

(You are correct about the Fourth Encounter being way more intricately detailed and therefore far more time consuming and intimidating to work on. Which is a bit silly considering I avoid backgrounds and can’t be bothered to panel things properly. It’s… been difficult.)

(As for my constant jumping around in story points, I blame ADHD brain. Which also seems to be allergic to linear progression… :/)

Poké OC-Tober answers

This was initially from Twitter but I thought these prompts are interesting so I'm answering the prompts for the Pokémon crossover AU nychthemeron and of nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei)!

This is put under the cut due to length and also because it covers potential future scenarios of said AU. I plan to maybe draw something for some of the prompts so I’m not answering all of them in this post.

1: Introduction

A: For starters, the basic concept is that nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) is the protagonist of Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, but her story is where Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon takes place 3 years after the Ultra Beast mission from the original Sun and Moon and had a lot to do with the aftermath of Selene, Hau, Gladion, the International Police and the Ultra Recon Squad dealing with the awakened Necrozma and how nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) is involved in it.

I thought the Necrozma bit after you deal with the other UB’s makes a good sequel hook for Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon and thus led to nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) being Ailey, the Selene of USUM. (Ailey is the promotional name for the female protagonist in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon before Selene became the female protagonist’ official name)

2: Starter

A: nychthmeron! Yuu (Rei)'s official starter is Gabriel the Primarina, Popplio at the time. Unofficially, well, her starter wasn't Aster despite the friendship she formed with him as a Cosmog but rather, Gareth the Houndoom.

She first met Gareth as a Houndour and his pack migrated all the way near Eterna City, nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei)’s hometown during the Lake Valor bombing by Team Galactic and they distrusted humans as a result of said bombing.

It took a while for them to trust a young nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) but her kindness to them won them over and from then, she’s considered a honorary member of Gareth’s pack.

They eventually migrated back to Lake Valor with the Pokémon Rangers keeping watch of them though that said, the pack still makes trips once in a while under Ranger supervision because they’ve already bonded with nycthemeron! Yuu (Rei) and considered her part of the pack.

Because of that, Gareth became her unofficial starter.

Unfortunately, she couldn’t bring Gareth along to Alola when she joined her maternal cousins at age 11 since she wasn’t a full-fledged trainer yet so she instead got Gabriel as her official starter.

3: Childhood

A: Her childhood background is nearly similar to the mainline counterpart’s past. Except that with Pokémon around, her ability to see the dead is more accepted and not something that people alienate her for.

In this story though, her sight is more an inherited aspect of her Psychic grandmother than a generational curse and side effect of having been spirited away.

However, she doesn’t get any psychic related powers ala Sabrina so her psychic like abilities only extend to her ability to see the dead.

Though she did get bullied one time due to some kids picking on her for said sight and calling her a “Ghost Pokémon magnet” for it, half of it has to do with the kids admiring local Gym Leader Gardenia and they thought they’re doing Gardenia a “Favor” by picking on her. Since it’s known that Gardenia hates ghosts.

Of course Gardenia wasn’t pleased when she learned about it.

Another difference nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei)’s had with the mainline counterpart is that her relationship with her family is happier and less strained.

So that’s about it.

4: Best Friend

A: Outside her Pokémon and family and mentor figures in Alola, the one canon Pokémon character that she’d consider a very close friend would be Gloria.

In the story, Gloria is Victor’s cousin and Victor is the canon Galar Protagonist for the fic which makes him champion and Sword and Shield happens a year after Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon in the fic.

It started when nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) went to Galar with Selene for a champion business trip and meeting Leon and nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) was goaded to join the gym challenge as additional training and she was on the same gym challenge season as Hop, Victor and Gloria. (She’s the same age as Hop, VIctor and Gloria, who are 13 going 14 by Sword and Shield)

The problem is that Leon was only able to make two endorsements and so he instead offered Gloria the Isle of Armor pass so she could train and maybe get sponsored by his master so she’d at least still get something from the gym challenge season.

nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) also got the pass as a visiting champion (Even if honorary) and that’s how she first met Gloria.

After beating Raihan though, nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) had to go back to Alola for a bit since her honorary champion duty is already done and she just want to finish challenging the gyms. So nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) completely missed out the fiasco of Chairman Rose awakening Eternatus and after that, she headed for Kalos.

At any rate, Gloria keeps frequent contact with nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) and they remain good friends.

For added note, Klara is the rival that they met in Isle of Armor and Avery hasn’t joined the Dojo yet until Victor and Hop arrived.

5: Talent

A: Singing. Well, not to the point that it’s universally praised but both nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) and the mainline counterpart are decent singers. Another talent of nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) would be skateboarding and surfing.

This is heavily influenced from the Mantine Surfing game in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon and in her story, Mantine Surfing is a fairly new thing in Alola and nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) is the main figure who made it a strong part of Alolan culture.

6: Favorite Pokémon

A: Well, that’s a tough question, though if nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) had to pick, she would say the Houndour line.

She admits that she’d pick Eevee over Pikachu since she thinks Eevee’s are cuter but she would pick the Houndour line over Eevee.

This is more that she grew up practically adopted to the pack of one and Gareth.

7, 15, 24: Free Space

By the time she got brought to Twisted Wonderland, nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) did not have a Dynamax band with her anymore. She did complete the gym challenges at Galar and did some training in Isle of Armor but she decided to give away her Dynamax Band to Gloria because she believed Gloria would have better use of it than she would. As such, she only had her Z-Ring that also doubled as her Mega Ring while in Twisted Wonderland.

nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) nicknames all the Pokémon she caught with a few exceptions. Usually, she doesn’t give a nickname to a Pokémon if she had no idea what to name them. However, there is one Pokémon that she refused to nickname at all. Necrozma itself. It had a lot to do with what went down in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon and Necrozma taking over her Solgaleo traumatized nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) hard enough and she refused to give a nickname to Necrozma even after catching it to ease it’s pain down the line. The trauma never left her and that’s why she hesitates and decided to not give Necrozma a nickname.

nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) used to have a celeb crush on Volkner as a kid and idolized him at a point that she got influenced by his personality and battle style. Granted, she had grown out of her crush on Volkner by present time but she prefers to keep it hidden.

11: Region

A: If she had to pick a region, she’d pick Alola. Her start is in Alola and she will come back to Alola every year because it’s become a new home to her.

She still had a home in Sinnoh but Alola has become her new home.

12: Hometown

A: Eterna City, Sinnoh.

Her new home in Alola is in Hau’Oli city, Alola.

13: Family

A: Her main family consist of 5 discounting the grandmother. Her parents and two brothers.

She also got paternal cousins living in Kanto and her cousin, Shiki especially also show up in her story and Shiki’s adventure is basically a Pokémon-ified take of green ray, a prequel to the mainline story and Takemichi’s psychic powers instead came from a Celebi that he befriended but that’s the gist of it.

14: Job

A: Her current job is a professional trainer and Pokémon Champion set to succeed Selene in Alola. Outside of her honorary champion duties and taking care of Alola when Selene is busy, nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) does Mantine surfing and she’s popular as a Mantine Surfer and skateboarder.

16: Favorite food

A: Now I rack my brain a bit for this but here’s the answer:

Personal favorite: Oyako-don. In the Pokémon world, this is made with Chansey eggs and Slowpoke tail as Chicken substitute.

In the old days in Sinnoh, Starly’s that are hunted used to be the “Chicken” for the Oyako-don but with evolving society, people use naturally growing slowpoke tail that had been cooked and diced as substitute.

nycthemeron! Yuu (Rei)’s family isn’t exactly vegetarian so she’s more willing to eat actual Pokémon meat and is neutral and capable of eating actual animal meat while in Twisted Wonderland since her logic is that “If people of days old used to eat Pokémon then she got no room to talk about what’s right or wrong.”

Regional specialties: Rage candy bars. Though despite the name, they’re actually just Manjuu’s in a different name (The Japanese name for Rage Candy Bar is Ikari Manjuu).

nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) used to make these as a family snack back in Sinnoh since they rarely got the chance to go to Johto so it’s a comfort food and nostalgic flavor for her.

17: Fear

A: Being helpless is her greatest fear. This is fueled from nearly losing Aster when Necrozma forcefully took over her Solgaleo. This incident also made her fear having her Pokémon forcefully taken away or replaced in some way and while she did have confidants in the Ultra Recon Squad and Selene for it, nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) hasn’t fully gotten over it.

20: Present

A: Currently, nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) is stuck in Twisted Wonderland and awaiting the Ultra Recon Squad to find a way to get there and bring her back home. But at present time, she has traveled 8 regions total and is more or less slated to be ready to take on Selene’s position as Alola champion anytime due to the traveling being counted as her training trip but since Selene is only 3 years older than her and hence, fairly young at 19 years old, Selene wants to hold her position as Alola’s champion for longer until nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) is ready to take the mantle.

21: Ambition

A: nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei)’s initial goal of being a trainer was to travel around and have her own call to adventure. She sorta got that already with her Alola journey and some as she traveled the regions and train.

Since her goal is more or less fulfilled, she doesn’t have a clear idea what to aim for next, but hey, she isn’t alone and she got her team with her so they’re together to figure out the next step.

22: Team

A: The full roster is here. The main Alola team is here.

25: Ace Pokémon

A: Gabriel the Primarina. While all the Pokémon nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) trained a lot of Pokémon, Gabriel is one of her strongest.

27: Secret

A: If there’s one thing that nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) kept secret from the Twisted Wonderland cast is her status as champion and Aster’s existence.

Because the trainer system and the like don’t really exist in Twisted Wonderland, nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) felt that the position and status of Champion wouldn’t really be useful for the time being.

The other half is that she wants to be treated as a regular person as a change.

Her feats in defeating and capturing Necrozma, and defeating Team Rainbow Rocket at a young age of 12 gave nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) much unneeded pressure and all the worship and idolization that resulted from it.

nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) got used to the pressure and the responsibility of her duty in some level, but she hated the idolization she received for it.

As for why Aster is kept secret, she hasn’t talked about Aster being a Solgaleo in any form and would not want to bring attention to Aster in some way.

29: Ship

A: Personally, I haven’t thought too far about it. But what I’m set about is that nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) is not going to be paired with anyone from the Pokémon universe.

She did have people crushing on her, at least those her age, but that’s about it since she barely paid attention to romance.

So that left the Twisted Wonderland casts.

However, what I want to keep consistent from the mainline fic is that I’m narrowing down people who actually are romantically interested in nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei).

Ruggie is still one of the people who had a chance to be romantically interested in nychthemeron! Yuu (Rei) but that’s about my current thoughts for it and I haven’t thought too far yet.

That said, I’m more open to possibilities for Pokémon AU version of Yuu (Rei) since she isn’t as closed off like the mainline counterpart was.

Hello? Hello? Danganronpa self shipper? Please share the F/Os and S/Is I crave this content bestie

Okay, so you asked this like, weeks ago (I’m sorry) but I am now officially not too stressed to enjoy anything other than Pokémon Legends: Arceus. I also had to write this in two sittings. So let’s go :3

My S/I is literally just me plopped in there. A tiny trans-guy being neurodivergent and trying his best. Like, I sometimes play with more backstory of me finally being able to study abroad in Japan and visiting Hopes Peak (except I’ve graduated now without ever studying abroad, thanks COVID :,3) and y’know, shit hits the fan. after those Sneaksy Twins™ start putting plans into action that involve one of them “disappearing” Mr. Jin Kirigiri was like “shit, need to find another one to fill in the gap so that we can have adequate pairs of Make Babies just in case everyone else dies. YOU. ASSIGNED FEMALE AT BIRTH.” :/ Which leads to survival, which leads to Future Foundation being like “hey can you babysit these guys on an island for us real quick” which justifies in my head my participation in the first two games. It also forces me to think dialogue in Japanese, which I desperately need to practice. But that’s all very messy and I generally don’t think about it too hard. That is for “canon” timeline anyway.

I do prefer non-despair AUs though, and also the “before everything went wrong” part of the anime. My idea there is that (by means I haven’t bothered to figure out) a woefully unqualified me is able to sneak into class 77 after stealing a Main Course uniform. Any time someone asks about my ultimate talent the answer changes which eventually leads to “haha, guess and I’ll tell you if you’re right ;)” My S/I does not have an ultimate talent, which does lead to angst. Yes, you already know where this is going, but let’s start with THH.

Oh, just so that I don’t have to name quite so many, I adore almost all of the characters platonically. There are, of course exceptions, but I think only Junko and Hiyoko, do I really dislike.

So in Trigger Happy Havoc, the only character I really ever desired romantically/intimately was Leon Kuwata. Much to my chagrin, he is a fuckboy. That’s okay though, it started out as a “hey if we’re all going to die, why not a little hedonism? I don’t wanna die a virgin, you game?” Alas ._. Anyway, we’re more fuck-buddies than anything, or we were because now I’m in a more committed relationship :3

Let’s hop over to V3 for juuust a sec before I absolutely gush on my SDR2 babes. ^^

So, either kinning Shuichi led to f/o-ing him, or f/o-ing him led to kinning. One or the other. My best friend kins Kaede, so go figure. Either way, I love him ^^ That said, I’m also a simp for Kaede, she’s such a good girl. I like to think of the three of us in a polycule.

I also love love love Kiibo so much!!! He’s such a good boy and he’s trying his best! I like to think of us becoming closer in my Japanese daydreams because I rely on him to translate some of my more complicated thoughts (trials) when I don’t have the vocabulary to communicate them in Japanese.

Okay! Now for SDR2! I could honestly make a separate post just for them. I’ll put the meta in this post and make a separate post for my canon ^^

Alrighty, so I think that my first boyo was Kazuichi Souda, Mr. shark teeth himself. It was real quick, I don’t remember exactly when, but I do remember commenting to my friends that I wanted to kiss him on the mouth pretty early on though. It became a running joke ^^ Pretty simple though, I thought he was attractive and had almost exactly the same personality type as Leo Valdez a la Percy Jackson, who I also had a huge crush on back in the day.

Next, chronologically and in terms of how complicated the route to understanding the feelings, is Fingers-In-His-Ass himself, Nagito Komaeda. So in the beginning I thought he was a pretty decent guy, but 1. I’d been on the internet long enough, and 2. My friend who had played the DR games before had a <_< attitude about him, so I knew something would happen. After the first trial, my pre-played friend was like “yeah, never really liked him. I thought he was pretty annoying” and my friend who was playing for the first time with me was like “lmao wtf” and despite everything, I couldn’t find it in me to hate him. I was kinda confused about it, but hating him didn’t feel right, despite the awful things he did. It wasn’t until I was contemplating after waking up at 3am or something, that I realized I couldn’t hate him because he was just like me. When my depression gets real bad, my self loathing monologue is his self deprecating monologue almost verbatim. From there, I was more inclined to sympathize with him and try to defend him. There… there was a little bit of an “I can fix him” thing going on, I’ll be real. But he doesn’t need to be “fixed” if it’s a non-despair AU and everything is fine anyway!

And finally, the MOST CONVOLUTED WAY TO CATCH FEELINGS EVER. Ft. Teruteru Hanamura :3

So, a little about me: I just graduated college with a bachelors degree in Japanese language. The school I went to required a senior thesis to graduate, for a Japanese degree that meant writing a 25 page paper about something related to Japan/Japanese language/culture. My topic of choice was the localization of Japanese video games for US audiences.

Actually, the whole reason I stumbled upon this topic was with the help of Teruteru and Miss Lotta Hart, from the Ace Attorney series. I wondered why in these two games (that I played in English) both had a character that spoke with a US southern accent, when the original games were written in Japanese. Obviously this had been a choice during localization, but why? How did they talk in the Japanese versions, and what’s the connection between their characters?

Well, for Lotta, she speaks with and Osaka dialect and portrays a character trope for loud, direct, and headstrong characters. Osaka characters are a character trope, pretty cut and dry. Teruteru doesn’t really fit into that, and only speaks with an accent near the end, so what does that mean?

I ended up writing a 7 page section titled “The Fascinating Case of Teruteru Hanamura”. I studied his dialect usage during the trial—it is not the same as Lotta’s dialect—I studied the way that he talks before he slips into that dialect, compared the stereotypes associated with the dialect that he uses and a US southern accent, and finally did an analysis of his character, why and how he masked where he was from, and why localization did a good job of conveying that character arc. Yeah, I did a lot of researching and thinking and writing about Teruteru.

And thesis? It’s stressful. I had a good many breakdowns over the course of the semester, but the only way to make myself less stressed was to do it. The trouble is, I have a really hard time organizing my thoughts on paper, but I can speak them really well. So in true self-shipper form, I found myself talking out my thoughts and planning my writing with fictional characters. And who’s the fictional character who was always on my mind? Teruteru. I ended up talking to him a lot, I got stressed a lot.

And ya know what? I think he’s exactly the f/o I needed to support me at that time. When I get super stressed, I don’t want to eat. I don’t want to go somewhere on campus to get food where people can see me falling apart. But it was a lot harder to skip meals when he was right there to bug me about it. “Honey, when did you eat last?” “Nah nah nah nah, I don’t think so. C’mon sugar, let’s go find something for you to eat.” “I’ll come with you, it won’t be so scary.” <3 <3 <3!!!!!!

So eventually my interest in him could not be considered solely academic any longer ^^;;;

So yeah, Souda-Pop, Teru Chan, and Nagito are my main polycule. I adore them. But this post is a novel as it is, so I’ll make a post just for them to continue gushing ^^

4. Do you have any OCs? Do you have a story for them?

I have quite a few, though most of them I’m able to simply put into any universe I want.

My first OC was Griffin Mage, who was originally meant for the PJO universe and was more shy. I’ve stopped using him for PJO, though, and his character has evolved into a fun-loving, flirtatious and joyful boy who loves climbing on top of tall things to watch the sunset. His story, though not concrete in any universe, is that his parents are very rich and busy business people. They’re always on business trips and leave him alone at home, which he doesn’t like. So he spends his time at the mall after school due to a lack of concrete friends (he’s a little annoying and a huge dork. At best he has close acquaintances). He knows how to win all of the arcade games and the store-owners love him and sometimes give him free meals or drinks. He tends to be too trusting for his own good, leaving him the butt of jokes and with a good number of pranks, but he still remains optimistic and sees the best in everyone.

I also have him set in a Pokémon au, where he’s best friends with another one of my ocs, Jasmine! You can read what I’ve written for it here.

Then there’s Hope Calighan! I have a story of her past and how she became a pirate here, but I seem to have a thing for characters coming from rich families. Hope was kidnapped at the age of seven for ransom that her stepmother refused to provide, and was then put to work as a pirate. A kind man, the first mate of the ship named Wallace Calighan, took her under his wing and made her to be the strong and capable woman she is today. She even took his last name. Sadly, he died in a fight with another ship, and so Hope took off to buy her own ship after a year of working called the Starfall.

Her personality has changed from a more open and playful character to one who is close-guarded and filled with quiet anger. She is a big alcoholic, is very untrusting, and has anger issues up the wazoo, but if you get close to her she will be loyal to you to the end of her days.

In my DND campaign she is a Demi-Bronze dragon barbarian with much of the same character traits and background, though this time she can swim and has an affinity for lightning and shiny objects. Her backstory is much the same, though she was an orphan rather than being kidnapped and Wallace owned a mercenary guild when he took her in. After many years, the guild was taken over and Wallace perished, leaving the guild to become the base of operations to a labor organization, though it could be more well described as contracted slavery. Hope was their first member.

Then there’s Jasmine Grace! She doesn’t have too much in the way of a backstory, but she has an elderly grandma and really wants a bunny she named Peanut Butter. She’s a supportive and kind person who could be described as naive or a bimbo, is actually very observant and smart. She tends to be a bit doubtful in her abilities but is very skilled in acrobatics, gymnastics and survival skills, as I first created her as a witch/bountyhunter who utilized a whip and throwing knives.

Clyde Doberman would have to be the least developed of my Ocs, though he does have his own story. He was created in a world where demons and angels exist, and somehow attracted the attention of a lust/anger demon and a high-ranking angel. He’s stuck in he middle of these very hot bickering beings as he tries not to die at the demon’s flirtatious remarks while teaching the angel how to use a fork.

He lives with his mother and works part-time at the family bakery while going to college as an art student. His other mom died early on in his life from cancer. He’s a very shy character who can never be seen without his scarf and beanie. Despite being quite timid and fearful, he can put on a brave front when needed.

The most recent of my OCs would have to be Jamie Myers, who belongs to the Ninjago universe as the Master of Space. He was developed in my Oni!Cole au as a background character, but soon became someone of his own. He’s a aloof type character with a resting bitch face and a love of photography, but due to severe loss in his life, tends to latch on to anyone who takes the time to be his friend. He is unaware of his elemental mastery at the moment.

A lot of his development came from my interactions with @weekend-whip and how she indulged me by listening to my rambles and ideas. His original universe was in my own au, but he’s recently grown to fit in hers more. So he’s both a highschool sophomore and a college one at the same time if you think about it.

He’s very quiet and guarded, but loyal to those who care about him. He had lost many friends in the past due to being “too clingy” or “attention seeking” and became very closed off as a result. His parents, who are ALSO busy businessmen, left him to his aunt and uncle in law to be raised with his sister, who was six years older than him. His sister’s backstory happens to be very tragic, as you can read here, and is the block to his true potential, as he never found closure as to what really happened to her, nor was truly able to get over her death. He moved to Ninjago city from Astor city later (and began having prophetic dreams but we’ll ignore that) and was able to establish a connection with some friends. If you look under my writing tag, you’ll see a lot about his interactions with Whip’s ocs and his own feelings about his sister!

12. If you write in more than one language, what’s the difference?

I have written multilingual characters before, though Russian and Arabic have been the ones that have required the most research. (Seriously, why don’t people do research when writing in other languages? There are so many fun phrases, idioms and pet names that we don’t have and that bring the characters to life!!)

For one, I couldn’t begin to try to understand how these two languages are read or how the letters are pronounced. Arabic is written BACKWARDS. It’s been so fun learning about the cultures and other things included in each language! I don’t think i’d ever use “I’ll show you where the lobsters spend the winter” if I hadn’t researched Russian for writing Kodya. Did you know that Ancient Egyptians in the year 1500 BC could have made Garlic bread, but didn’t know what a chicken was? Or that an example of how they would have identified the year is “Kemet and the year of renpet zep III under the reign of Khafre”? Or that in Russian, snow ‘goes’, not ‘falls’?

Writing advice: Don’t just stick stuff into a translator. Research common phrases, idioms, insults, and pet names in the language you are writing for, as well as other cultural items to go with it! It will do wonders for your writing!!!

BigMetaverse will build a large Decentralized Metaverse ecosystem

If you've been a gamer your whole life, the concept of the metaverse may seem natural to you. All other MMORPGs and simulation games feature their own universe where players can explore, make friends, and even shop from NPCs in exchange for in-game currency. While most of these games don't require VR gear, they do have their own metaverse concept. World of Warcraft, Knight Online, and Pokémon all invite players to explore their dreamland, and the current metaverse concept hopes to do something similar while focusing on the actual point of view.

Metaverse is a very broad and complex technology. The world of Metaverse is a completely different world in the Computer room. This requires access via (VR), Virtual Reality or (AU) Augmented Reality. This Metaverse can be accessed through Personal Computers, Phones and Game Consoles. Metaverse is a vast space in the Digital world which has its own economy where users will be able to sell and buy goods. Metaverse has an interoperable feature that allows users to carry items such as clothes, cars from one place to another. . Metaverse allows users to buy virtual Lands, build them, and rent them out. This is an amazing technology that will revolutionize the digital world. In this article, I will talk about the Big Metaverse platform, the newly discovered decentralized Metaverse ecosystem powered by users on blockchain technology.

What metaverse?

To understand the nuts and bolts of the Metaverse, we'll have to take our gaming glasses off for a while. Consider the internet, which we use every day to buy something or chat with our friends. The entire online experience we have today is essentially two-layered. While some of the programs we use have three-layer components, we mostly use two-layer input methods such as PCs, phones, and tablets.

The Metaverse concept redesigns all online insights into a three-level realm. BigMetaverse's goal is to build a huge Decentralized Metaverse ecosystem where users will be able to explore, participate in activities, collaborate, learn and do all kinds of things together. It's like the real world but the BigMetaverse world will be limited to the Virtual world. Users will be able to connect friends all over the world, chat with them, Play Games together, and engage in shared activities. BigMetaverse will allow users to create and monetize their content. It only offers a blockchain powered platform where content creators monetize virtual products, interactive 3D models. All of these activities are supported by the use of cryptocurrencies and smart contract technology.

Content creators earn tokens by sharing their creativity with others. BigMetaverse offers a decentralized metadata registry for the Web3 ecosystem, the protocol is capable of storing, indexing, and searching metadata attached to smart contracts. Day by day many people adopt Metaverse, they start to experience VR and AR (Augmented Reality) technology.

2. There was a moment where I battled him, pacifist route, and FluffyGuard was on me, or the soul, while getting through Spamton Neo’s final attack. I headcanon thought he was sneezing at me with those attacks when I was spat out. It hasn’t left my mind. I guess Ralsei’s fluff was super effective.

Canon that when Addisons abandoned him, he drinks. One of them happens to be Lemon Drop. Nvm. He’s already been drinking and hungover many times while with the Addisons.

The day he was over intoxicated of booze, he gets infected by Virovirokuns making his speech patterns, mental, and physical state worse. It’s uncommon, but this would happen multiple times. Poor fella.

I had a headcanon where Spamton has to pull off a disguise with Noelle to avoid Queen’s detection. Kris is just bored as fu--- throughout it but tolerates and actually enjoys Spamton’s snazzy/spazzy company.

Spamton likes Ralsei. If left with Ralsei, he’d interchange between Dealmaker glasses and his usual normal form; There are times he gets paranoid that FluffyGuard attack/defense is on him; he shouldn’t need to sneeze. That or his smell/senses are that sensitive.

If during Snowgrave route, I’d like to see and imagine offscreen moments of Spamton lurking (kinda like Sans did in Undertale) and observing Kris’s odd behavior towards Noelle; as well as witnessing Cyber World Darkner characters freezing, or dying. At the end of the ordeal of Noelle encountering Berdly, she meets Spamton or rather Spamton hesitantly approaches Noelle, not fully aware of her power and strength to kill him. She embraces him, whispers “I’m sorry”, and spares the salesman. She runs off to HOME, Queen’s mansion. Also, I’d like to mention how she is fascinated by dolls; and horror movies canonically. So, seeing this guy wouldn’t exactly faze her.

If there was a Pacifist AU moment where Noelle and the Lightner gang lets Spamton see fireworks.

Kris is not exactly much taller than Spamton, but Spamton is slightly lightweight and can sit on the Lightner's shoulder and head just fine like a Pokémon buddy; a comforting beanbag.

4. Headcanon that Spamton meets Noelle (Pacifist AU) and I kinda want hilarity to ensue between these two. Something between Netflix “Inside Job” bestie and platonic relationship or “The Ghost and Molly McGee” kinda thing.
