I believe he both remembers and forgot about times he nearly died due to his altruism combined with recklessness 😆. Ash has travelled so much since he begun his career as a competitive Pokémon Trainer that his stories would be enough to write a collection of books!

And he wouldn't tell Goh about every single moment he happens to remember, he knows his husband can get agitated about that. The same goes about telling his mother!

The sketch of this idea was 80% done by November 2023 but I could only fully complete the illustration in the latest days because many things happened and getting ill by the end of the year certainly didn't help. It was about time I had something new to show from the Soul(mate)s of Light AU!

Destiny bonding with a Shiny Latios has been in my ideas list since 3 years ago, but it got reinforced thanks to Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs and the disclosure of Ash Ketchum's animé arc. Long-story short: Destiny rescues a rare Shiny Latios in her original adventures in Hoenn region as a Trainer. Grateful, this rare Pokémon offered flights in the region anytime she would play the Eon Flute. She nicknamed him Delta due to this reason and others! Later as an adult, she's one of the fewest Rangers capable to use Involiths. Whenever her Fearow's flight power isn't enough, she can summon Delta's help with her Capture Styler!

Showing a sneak peak of a watercolour that's being developed! What could it be? The only tip I can give is that it's Soul(mate)s of Light related!

(Note for my AU followers: I still haven't a prediction of when the next comic strip part will become available but I can say that at least a third of the frames batch is already developed. Imagine if your AU characters are Pokemon,what kind of ability and nature will they be?(we already know what the Ketchums will be as Pokemon but i was just wondering)

For the abilities, both Solgaleo and Lunala currently have a single one: Full Metal Body and Shadow Shield, respectively. Now their Natures...

Ash: It could be either Quirky (no stats change) or Brave (having in mind how I headcanon him to have preference on savoury food, even tho he doesn't say no to sweets!)

Goh: Timid. It's been shown that Goh is reserved and yet there were hints that he's probably got a sweettooth (like that time he didn't say no to a dessert and got nearly sick because of that when the boys rushed to Wyndon stadium).

Eep sorry I didn’t see character directed asks were unavailable, but I do wanna ask this too you the author

How many of ash and goh’s pokemon are evolved and like the character directed asked I sent im very curious on how did each of goh and ash’s pokemon react to destiny? As it seems a few are evolved but I’m curious if Pokémon like ash’s bulbasaur are evolved

I can't say an exact number but I can quote few Pokémon from the boys that I confirmed to have evolved either through comics or even character asks replies:

- Goh's Drowzee and Grookey (ultimately turning into Rillaboom)

- Ash's Buizel, Scraggy, Snivy and Bayleef

As for Bulbasaur I can see him evolving at some point (even if I didn't mention in a specific character ask reply) , considering there's actual promotional OS art that had shown a Venusaur next to Ash and the remaining party!

About Destiny, the reactions were quite diverse, but they mostly positive. The most complicated case was with Ash's Bayleef who thought that the baby girl was stealing a lot of Ash's attention. But that eventually gets sorted and evolves to Meganium after saving Baby Destiny from a pinch!

This is a sketch I managed to make back in late 2023 when I was still tucked down with a flu, perhaps in some other time I could make a better version.

It gives a nod to Nausicaä' of the Valley of the Wind, one Ghibli movie that I feel it's a bit under the shadow of other successful stories. I imagine Adult Destiny to share a close personality to Nausicaä considering how both share a high sensibility towards living creatures.

to author: I created an account just for your comic here. I'm having difficulty in reading them in chronological order though. for example, what did Destiny do when presented with the Kanto starters? that wasn't anywhere on the links, or the most recent updates to her journeys.

to Destiny: do you speak Tarous? I have one but I don't know what, or if he already has, a name for him. Could you ask him if he has or prefers a name?
