Your meta on Stannis almost made me cry!!! I love that man to pieces. I only wished he had been given something in those years after Robert's Rebellion and the War of the Five Kings that was not linked to Robert at all. He had his great victory, for sure, but no one seems to sing songs about it.

It just seems like such an injustice because Stannis does everything right, he follows the rules laid about by society, he does his duty and he does what's expected of him without complaint. He's been doing his best since he was just a kid and nobody gives him credit. He kept Storm's End standing, defeated Victarion Greyjoy- who was one of the Seven Kingdoms most experienced sailors- in his first naval engagement, stormed Dragonstone, effectively ran the realm with Jon Arryn while Robert was eating, drinking and whoring himself into an early grave. He's done it all right and yet who gets the praise and the recognition? The likes of Robert, Ned, Jon Arryn, Renly, Jaime Lannister. Its a disgrace and Stannis doesn't get the credit he deserves.
