Overanalyzed thoughts and analysis on the Boss’ love for the MC

The Boss’ real name will be used at times to refer to him, so be careful if you don’t want it to be spoiled. Other spoilers such as some moments from Kei’s Season 3 and the Boss’ own route will be used as well. This post has been written a long time ago and has been edited recently before the posting date. It could be edited again in the future. I’m only putting my own thoughts and interpretations on things about the Boss as a character here. I didn’t want to post this for a long time, but decided to put it out there to finally get it out of my drafts. English is not my first language, therefore any odd phrasing could be due to that

The day he and MC met

The Boss and MC’s relationship relies on their history together. The day they met was a turning point in their life, for both of them. MC has always described their meeting as what pushed her to change her path and become an agent despite finishing her studies, while Seiichi told her himself that him meeting her reminded him of how it felt like to save someone/that it made his work seem meaningful again somehow. So they’re both special for each other in a way, and it’s obvious for multiple reasons that he thinks of her as different compared to his other agents.

Due to him being an agent, it’s possible to think he’s only lying if he tells her she’s special to him, because he could say that just to manipulate her. However, it has also been shown multiple times that he also treats her differently.

How he usually acts with the MC can be described with these two screenshots ↓

What he pays attention to

I love whenever a MC is recognized as “beautiful”. Otome games are about dating fictional hot men, so describing the female as also beautiful doesn’t feel one-sided anymore. I really enjoyed seeing The Boss’ reaction to MC’s appearance in his first Season. It was subtle but we could see at least twice that he began seeing her as a woman. He watched over her for 6 years as her boss and most of the time, he wasn’t physically present with her. Him becoming interested in her in that aspect showed that he started reevaluating her ↓

His gifts and praises to the MC

He gifts her perfumes and jewelry (spy earrings) as her boss

He has an ambiguous behavior with her, he’s not just her “boss” all the time. Their banter and sometimes the way he flirts with her in the special stories show (but this is not tied to the Main Stories) that he sees her romantically as well

He also refers to her as his favorite and best agent and I live for it

He compliments her skills as an agent all the time, and not only out of mere flattery (he also recognizes her skills in his PoVs) ↓

Here, he’s talking about her but he’s subtle because that’s the Boss for you ↓

His agent side and manipulation techniques

He has known that the MC has a crush on him for a long time, and used it to his advantage in his own route ↓ (and also particularly in Kei’s)

It’s possible that he is also unconsciously trying to keep her near him by manipulating her so she doesn’t go team up with the 3S’s, since she’s the best agent he has and losing her would not be beneficial to the EAC (or to him, if he does have feelings for her in the other routes as well, at least in Kei’s)

However, he could act in a sweet way with her in every route not out of affection but to have her listen to him more. After all, making people think you can trust them makes them open up and easier to control in some cases ↓

Possessiveness

He once refers to the MC as his agent very clearly. This is also noticed by the 3S’s as they said that he emphasizes some words such as “my agent”, or “she’s one of us” to talk about her. Kazuomi and the others often make fun of the Boss and MC by calling him her “handler” while calling the MC the Boss’ “pet”

Seiichi (The Boss) often interrupts the MC and the guys when they’re approaching a sexual development in the 3S’s routes. As in they’re going to make love and BAM, here he calls. We don’t know for sure that this is done on purpose, because if it is, it’d mean that the Boss can observe them whenever he wants to. Which is not entirely surprising if that’s the case, the man’s an agent and has his way of getting intel. It has also been shown before that Seiichi knew the MC and Theo (MC’s previous coworker) almost dated and there were recorded videos of the two kissing. Seiichi knew about this development in their relationship, so it’s not unlikely that he also knows about the MC being intimate with the 3S’s at exact times. That, or he simply has amazing instincts like the MC does

Some facts

Kei’s S3 showed how shaken Seiichi was by MC leaving the EAC, even though Kei’s route is where he could appear as very despicable to some readers and to the characters themselves because of how he treats her and Kei

Seiichi is someone who has lost himself, through the many masks he put on to embrace a new persona during missions. Relationships, even with women, were means to an end for him for a long time. He has lived in appartments that were giving off a feeling of being “unlived in” by MC. He is only attached to one furniture that he keeps with him, his croton plant (omg it sounds dumb putting it like that)

MC is the one to make Seiichi go back to “himself”, as in to who he was before becoming this "cold" agent who would do anything possible to get positive outcomes for the EAC (in his own story). In Kei’s S3, when the MC leaves the agency and follows Kei, the Boss seems sad. MC thinks to herself that she’s seeing the real him behind that “perfect facade”. (If MC’s love makes the Boss go back to “himself” (to Seiichi Setoyanagi) in his own route, as mentioned by the Boss himself, would that mean that he is also in love with her in other routes, if she is able to crack that facade there, too? I think this could be true)

Right now, the most relevant story that showed him having potential feelings for the MC (romantic ones or a deep attachment to her), in other routes than his own is, surprisingly, Kei’s route. Especially Kei’s S3. Despite what Seiichi did to the MC in Kei’s earlier seasons, as in threatening to shoot her and use her as a trading object along with the rosary that Kei craved all his life, there’s this moment that shows just how complicated and deep he can be as a character. The fact that I can’t understand him is what makes me want to know more, to know everything. What Seiichi delivers as a character are double meanings, subtlety, and we’re never sure of where we’re going with him. I absolutely love how most of what he does and says is up for interpretation in a lot of cases. He’s a mystery and that’s part of his charm. What is true though, is that he’s very attached to the MC in every route, whether he’s conscious of it or not, whether he manipulates her or not

For the convenience of my translation, let’s call the kitty “Yogurt.” After all, there can be only one Pudding in the house, and he misses Yogurt very much ever since the owner took him back~ (｡•́︿•̀｡)♡

Rolling into a ball, Yogurt is sound asleep in his nest on the balcony, his belly heaving up and down along with his breathing.

I’ve been taking a few pictures when I suddenly feel the top of my head being tapped, not gently but not firmly either.

Victor: Why is the person who volunteered to make the cake is now solely engrossed in taking pictures?

Victor: Get the goat’s milk out of the refrigerator.

I respond and bring the bottle of milk to the kitchen counter. Crinkling my eyes into a beaming smile, I look at Victor, who is whipping the eggs.

MC: There’s still a lot of room for improvement in my cooking skills. For this sort of occasion, such as Yogurt’s birthday, it’s best not to display it yet.

Victor pours the milk into a bowl, shooting me a glance with half a smile on his face.

Victor: When it comes to self-consolation, you’re always good at compensating yourself.

Victor: We’ve spent a lot of time teaching by words and examples in the kitchen. I’m just wondering when you will be able to graduate?

MC: ...soon, very soon! At the very least, now I can give you a hand as the sous chef, and there won’t be mistakes anymore!

I take the rice batter as I speak, stir it up, and put it into the oven with familiarity and ease.

Not long after, the rice batter in the mold gradually becomes fluffy.

As the fragrance dissipates, I sniff it gently several times. Suddenly, I feel a tug on my pant leg.

Yogurt has woken up at some point, and now he is flaring his nose, spinning in circles around my feet.

Victor leans over the kitchen counter and watches us, setting down the glass of water and releasing a soft chuckle.

Victor: Should we say that pets follow their owner?

Victor: The way he looks now... the demeanor is exactly the same as yours when you wait for the pudding to come out of the oven.

After letting the fluffy sponge cool down and decorating the cake in a simplistic manner, I bring the cake in front of Yogurt.

Sitting next to it is a little hat, which Victor and I have chosen together.

Victor draws out a tissue paper and wipes Yogurt’s chin coated with cake residues.

Victor: For you to be with him every day and have snacks to eat when he wakes up.

MC: ...how come it sounds like it’s no different from how it is now?

Victor: Wishes are born from regrets about the “reality.” You treat him with such meticulous care, down to the smallest detail. Naturally, he won’t have any dissatisfaction.

As Victor speaks, he glances at me with a meaningful gaze.

Victor: Besides, life is already ideal when you’re together with the person you like.

Okay I absoulutly love the idea of fnaf sb au u did. But what about. Now here me out.

Security breach au where mc is the security guard.

How will the boys become when the night comes?

Hkjdsf nightguard Mc.. she's, at least, in a better position than her 'normal fnaf' counterpart who is in a much more constant state of terror. This Mc also gets to hang out in a much cooler location. Both are dealing with dangerous haunted robots who are unhealthily attached to them, but only one gets to walk through neon lazer tag courses.

Sans: She likes him! He seems helpful, the best behaved of the animatronics (not a very high bar but she appreciates it anyway). He calls her ‘officer’ by default. She has a few jobs she has to get done during her shift... mainly checks of the area to make sure there are no thieves, but also routine looks at the robots to ensure they’re functioning properly and don’t need any major fixes before the next show. Sans assists her with the checks, walks with her between rotations when he can, often attempting polite conversation and making a few bad jokes she giggles at.

His politeness comes, frequently, from nervousness. He’s got a huge crush on her. And... unfortunately, he’s not all goodness- she only sees him at his nicest and most presentable, she doesn’t see how he quietly sabotages sections of his area (and sometimes even his own exoskeleton) so she has to spend longer with him. He’s lonely... and he’s more than willing to lie his way into more time with her.

Red: A fucking pain in the ass, that's what Red is to her. One that she can’t help but appreciate, sure, but still a huge pain- management just laughs when she tells them Red flirts with her, ignoring the obvious warning signs that would come with an animatronic developing such a brazen and personal liking to the security guard. He called her random pet names until he heard Sans call her ‘officer’ genuinely, and now whenever he sees her he just coos “officer~” in the most saccharine and flirtatious voice he possibly can, often just causing her to immediately bolt.

Like Sans, he’s also prone to a little sabotage thanks to his deep loneliness... but it’s mainly his exoskeleton, because it forces her to get in close where he can flirt and coo and poke and see her flustered reactions. Their little moments sat together are the closest he gets to meaningful interaction.

Skull: Mc travels mostly via the main pizzeria because she doesn't like going into the utility tunnels. Something feels so... off about them, these forgotten and eerie corridors going far deeper below her feet than she ever wants to think about. The bad feeling gets especially strong when she's been down for a while- she feels like she's being watched. Or followed. Or both. Sometimes, she shines her torchlight down into the darkness and catches rare glimpses of something moving away... and sometimes she isn’t brave enough to look.

Sometimes, she keeps her flashlight off, far too afraid of what she might see.

By any means, this isn’t your first rodeo. You’ve gotten tattoos before, in fact you remember how it took months for you to just let your mind kindly shut the fuck up so you could finally pick something out. You realized back then that there would never be a perfect placement or meaningful design that you had to cling to in order to get it done. Sometimes you have to do things simply because it feels right.

You’re sure it’s highly inappropriate to lay one on your tattoo artist for just doing their job.

You wish you could see the ink as he’s working, but at the same time you’re excited to see the final project once it’s completely done. The only thing you can stare at is his face, dark brows furrowed in concentration as he scrutinizes every centimeter of his available space, making sure the shading is perfect as he goes in with his magnum. His eyes are bright and clear despite being in the shadows as he bends over your form, and the tips of his long hair wink against your vision as they pull out of his messy bun.

“This part’s gonna hurt the most,” Jungkook mumbles more to himself than you, seemingly in a trance as he lifts his needle from the finished bud. The half-bloom sits right at the middle, and when he presses his finger in the spot you try not to visibly wince. The bone’s right there and you’ve already shed a couple tears from the first half hour.

“I’ll try not to squirm,” you steel yourself, curling your toes as you prepare for the next round of needling.

“Oh don’t worry, if you squirm I’ll just pin you down.”

You could swear Jungkook’s squishes your breast a little firmer as he says that, but you chalk it up to him going back in and needing to move it around to touch up the inked bud. It’s not like he’ll fuck you on this table, the pain must be making you some kind of delusional if you’re fantasizing about your tattoo artist.

Five minutes later he nicks you in a particularly sensitive spot, and you wince. You can’t help but shift away, kicking your legs. He's by his words, and Jungkook’s hand unflinchingly clamps down on your breast, pushing you into the leather. From the corner of your eye, you see the way your skin bubbles between Jungkook’s inked fingers, the fat from your breast practically spilling over his knuckles.

Neither of you say anything as he switches needles, opting for a thinner one in order to start the illustration.

Once the sharp metal pricks your skin, you exhale. Your eyes open slightly to see a thin smile veiled onto Jungkook’s petal pink lips.

“Good girl,” it rolls off his tongue like honey and butter, and you have to clench your thighs and press every centimeter of your body to the table in order to not flip your shit.

It hurts, obviously. The needle goes straight to your heart, akin to the heat that pools between your thighs as you repeat his praise over and over in your head. You feel your bones vibrate in your chest as he goes in, but you want to do well for him so you force yourself to stay put.

You’re sure he means nothing by the nickname–or pet name in your dirty mind. Jungkook and all the other artists in Jamais Vu are known to be flirty when they want to. You’re sure he’s said that to dozens of other customers, considering his books are always full and his Instagram is filled with attractive men and women inked in the most intimate of areas.

“You say that to all your customers?” you finally pull the question from your throat, Jungkook taking a wet paper towel to rub away the excess ink. You fight your contented sighs as the cold fabric soothes your burn.

He hums, drifting away from your body to zoom in his perched iPad. “Only the cute ones,” he teases lightly, and you hold your breath for the rest of the appointment.

Jungkook’s slow and steady.

“Whoever did that tatt must be a freakin’ genius,” Jungkook says between pumps, tugging your right breast to the side to marvel at the finished work. The adhesive bandage gleams in the low light of your shared bedroom, due to the television displaying a muted version of My Hero Academia with all it’s vast explosions and super-powered rocket thrusters.

B thinks pet names can be cute, so they would not mind you calling them whatever as long as you're the one doing it. They may get a little flustered if you use them in public, but will get used to it. Getting B to agree to certain things may be made easier with a well-timed term of affection.

S is more a fan of their own name and can find some pet names overused; this may change if your MC really likes pet names. If you give one to them, they will give one to you in return; however, the one for you will be well-researched and somewhat obscure or dated and not as commonplace. If they are not using your name, then S wants something unique and meaningful to refer to you.

Oh, yes, R does like pet names, but will take selecting one for both you and them a little too seriously. They may try different pet names out at different times to gauge your reaction, intentionally picking the one that seems to make you melt the most or fluster you. They are less exacting with what pet name you use for them; R already thinks it is special since it came from you.

Hmm, J is more perceptive of tone??? So, you could call them 'darling' or 'rutabaga' in a fond or hushed voice and they would still be affected. XD They don't mind pet names and would likely try to come up with one for you only after you came up with one for them, though they may lowkey stress about it. They want it to be a good one.

JR is similar to the other two, except R's pet names for J are somewhat joking, but you can tell from the look on their face when they say the pet names that there is care beneath the teasing word(s).

hot take: ota kisaki isn’t into pet play, and he never was.

a lot of people say that they don’t like ota because of his “dog fetish”, meaning he treats mc like a dog and acts like her master. they see it as a sign of disrespect because mc clearly isn’t into it — which is understandable.

others, on the other hand, love ota, they say he’s sweet and very protective of mc, and they refute the “dog fetish” argument by stating that he “eventually grows out of it”.

however, i don’t actually think that ota has or ever had a puppy play kink in the first place. i actually think that he treated mc like a puppy in order to maintain a distance between them and control her better.

here’s my take:

pet play is a part of bdsm, a term used to describe aspects of sex that involve bondage and discipline, dominance and submission and/or sadism and masochism. anyone who knows anything about bdsm knows that trust and consent are critical in bdsm relationships in order to ensure the safety and the wellbeing of every party involved. ota doesn’t have mc’s consent or even her trust, something she makes very clear in his season 1 main story. if ota truly was a dom, someone who was actually into pet play/bdsm and not some predator trying to use bdsm as an excuse to assault women, he would’ve asked her beforehand if she was okay with it, have a verbal/written agreement with her and he would’ve backed off immediately once mc showed hesitation. ota is not a dom and mc is not a sub.

ota has major trust issues. all of the bidders have trust issues but it’s very obvious that ota is the worst of them all. people with trust issues don’t want to get attached to others because they fear betrayal. he probably called mc “koro” and treated her like a dog so that he wouldn’t fall in love with her and so that there would be this distance between them. you can’t exactly form meaningful human connection by constantly treating someone like a dog, unless both of you are into it. people communicate with one another to connect, people help out each other to connect, people touch each other to connect… if someone is constantly shrugging off your attempts at connecting by treating you like a dog, you won’t get very far in the relationship.

dehumanization is a commonly used tactic by abusers to keep their victim from leaving them. as dark as it is, it has to be said. victims of domestic abuse often tell stories of their abusers patronizing them, calling them names, dismissing their concerns/pain, gaslighting them, belittling their accomplishments, basically treating them as though they are incapable of anything, sending the message that they need their abusers, that they are worthless without them. ota obviously never did any of those things, nor is he an abuser (i was only using that as an example), but he did dehumanize mc in another way, by treating her like a dog without her consent. one second, he’d call her “koro” and talked to her as though she was a brainless puppy, and the next he’d be all cute and shit, doing her hair and feeding her. by doing that, he made mc feel bad about herself (which she actually mentions in ota’s season 1), he made her question if she was the one who was ungrateful and stupid, and she even began believing that ota was sweet for taking care of her. abusers dehumanize their victims so that that exact thing happens, the victim starts doubting themselves and eventually becomes dependent on the abuser, thus they don’t leave them. ota probably didn’t want mc to leave him because he didn’t want her to expose the auctions. he knew he couldn’t use fear like the other bidders did, so he decided to ruin her self esteem and make her doubt herself instead.

continuing off of my last point, it’s easier to control people who are dependent on you. ota is almost the same age as mc, so it would’ve been very difficult for him to push her around as much as for example eisuke did because she wouldn’t be as reluctant to stand up to him. but because he treated her like a dog and caused her to doubt herself, he could easily torment her and push her around because her sense of reasoning has already been fucked with.

this is why he eventually stops treating her like a puppy once he’s in love with her and he’s sure that she’s in it for the long run. he wants to get closer to her, something that would be very hard to do if he keeps treating her like a dog 24/7, and he probably doesn’t want to control her anymore either, so he has no need to treat her like a dog. besides, he knows she won’t leave him either way.

anyways, that was my hot take, what do you think? did i sound real stupid or does this kind of make sense? leave your feedback in the comments!

Is there a classic she once loved in her time being published for the first time in their era, on display at a bookstore nearby? Noted. Does she hover near shops filled with self-care products--things like scented candles or lotions or bath salts, things she considers indulgent luxuries? Noted. Is there an outfit that caught his eye in a boutique, something he thinks would complement her complexion perfectly? Noted.

The thing about Sebastian is that his gifts will be heartfelt, timely, and devastatingly thoughtful. Whether something small or something lavish it will always be precisely what she needs/wants, and she can sense the loving care he put into finding the perfect gift.

H = Holding Hands (When/how does he like to hold hands?)

Honestly? Sebastian has spent the better part of his life alone. His circumstances weren’t the worst; for all that he’s lost in his life he never went hungry, lived comfortably. But...that doesn’t change the fact that his life has been fairly devoid of meaningful human contact. Even in college, friends and close colleagues were hard to come by. The few people he did develop budding feelings for he always gave up on long before it could become any kind of substantial relationship. He was always the type to admire from afar, never really felt worthy of the people he liked.

It was MC that was the first to reach out to him, and for the first little while in their relationship she will be the one most naturally inclined to reach for him. He isn’t really used to having someone by his side like this, somebody who would be delighted to hold his hand--who wants to be close to him. It’s always a shock when they go grocery shopping and he just feels her fingers wrap gently around his. She blushes a little and says something about not wanting to get separated, but it’s clear what her real motivation was.

After those first few months, it becomes much more natural for him to reach for her hand when they’re traveling somewhere together or when they’re alone. He likes to intertwine their fingers, loves the way they fit against his perfectly. His shyness wears off after a while, and it’ll be rare to see them together without them holding hands--unless they’re cooking or at work.

J = Jokes (Does he like to joke around with or prank her? How?)

Do you know how cats have their eyes all narrow thin pupil but then they go REALLY REALLY round? That’s Sebastian. I tend to refer to it as “Silly Time Mode Engaged.”

Now then, his kind of joking is very dry and very deadpan. It’s subtle and immediate, so if you’re not attuned to it it can be easy to miss. That, or people just look at him weird because they don’t quite get the connection he’s making and/or the delivery feels off because his facial expression doesn’t change at all, completely flat. That being said, one of his all time favorite things to do is to say something absurd or nigh histrionic (which tends to be uncharacteristic of him) and wait for the confused head turn/startled laughter to hit. He will make puns and play on words all the time--he puts his academic knowledge to good use.

“I swear when I first met you I was convinced you were an AI.” “Alexa taught me everything I know.” He’ll bow. “Oh? Do I have competition, in that case?” “Your speakers are suboptimal (he pokes her freckles), but you possess what Alexa lacks.” “And that would be?” He’ll gather her close, smiling against her lips. “My heart.” :D cutest robot I ever saw uwu

Bonus bc I have a problem: “Is stealing hearts in Alexa’s programming? Just to be safe, of course.” “I think it’s safe to say it isn’t within the parameters of her design--but that doesn’t mean you’re out of the woods just yet.” cue sounds of tickling and laughter

The other way Sebastian messes with MC is that he is an ENORMOUS tease in the bedroom. He’s very much the kind of lover that prefers to tantalize and draw things out; a long, slow seduction that will render MC immobile from the pleasure by the end. The promise of a kiss is almost always only a whisper of the feeling he intends to drown her in. Remember that Sebastian’s stoicism belies a nigh inhuman ardor and self-control. He’s more than willing to leave her wanting in order to fully capitalize on that desire later at night.

P = Pet Names (What does he like to call her?)

Other than her name? HE DOESN’T AHAAHAHAHAHA Just kidding of course, but given where he comes from pet names between couples aren’t...really a thing…(take it up with Japan, I Was Today Years Old, my sappy romantic ass would never survive)

The funny inverse of this though is that he does NOT fuck around with people that try to call MC pet names. When Arthur Tries It™ he canonically goes all steely saccharine, openly telling the others they’re together. So none of that “luv” or “doll” business, he will not have it (he won’t fight the purebloods on it because 1. they’re more like doting grandfathers than anything and 2. Sebastian does not have a death wish). If MC has a nickname of some kind, then I could see him using that or adding his own spin on it with a great deal of affection c:

U = Upset (How does he act when she’s upset?)

Whether he was the cause or not, Sebastian has a single modus operandi when his beloved is upset (and to anyone who’s upset really) and that is to offer gentle reassurance/an apology. He is very, very sensitive to the feelings of others and really takes it to heart when someone isn’t feeling well. That being said, he won’t always be overt about his concern--he’s more the type to do little things that offer constant support/reminders that he’s there for them.

If it’s something more serious, he will do everything in his power to minimize the harm done and sooth the MC. His attempts to comfort her will be tender, muted, and consistent; prolonged hugs, doubles his offering of sweets, makes her favorite foods, gives her a relaxing bath salt to use--anything that he knows for certain will coax her lips up into a smile. He’s the type to freely offer space for her to figure things out if she needs it, but he will also be watchful; he won’t let things escalate if she needs externalized support to heal (bc lbr some problems we can’t solve alone ;-;).

His other go-to method is to offer distractions in any capacity that he can. Will offer to teach her a new recipe, or find a new type of flower he wants to plant together, or make up some kind of project he needs help with. Sometimes he’ll genuinely need the help, but most of the time he does it for the express purpose of getting her mind away from negative things and focused on him/the present. It’s hard to dwell on upsetting things when you’re body is physically demanding something else from you, even more so if it’s a fairly complex task. She’s known to be very dutiful; she’ll be so focused on doing a good job she’ll forget the sadness/irritation for a bit and the intensity of the emotion might ebb slightly.

If the issue is lighter, he’ll probably just cuddle/tickle her back to fighting spirit, pressing kisses wherever he can reach until she starts giggling. In these instances he prefers to hug her from behind, a reminder that she doesn’t have to face anything unpleasant or unnerving all on her own; he’ll always be there to hold her steady whenever she needs him.

And rest assured, this man is always gathering data to optimize his comfort capabilities. He is incredibly adaptable, and will always be watching her reactions closely to adjust his strategies.

i love this so much! i’ve been writing for lucas, and i’ll admit, i never went so far down the road with him. but it’s really seductive to think about it.

for one, lucas is not the type to let the spark lose it’s brightness, so he would be doing everything he can to show how much he loves you and how appreciated you are.

- trips once a month, to several places, to visit friends, and sometimes, just for the two of you. places that became ‘your spot’ like somewhere in cornwall. a place where the waiters and recepcionists already know you, your orders, preferences and favorites. they call you mr. and mrs. koh, but you to insist on the first name basis.

- candlelights and home made meals at night. home dates where lucas can STILL show off his cooking skills and you can have wine. finishing the date on the couch or in the bedroom. or simply watch a movie after.

- taking you out. that’s always part of lucas’ schedule and he just wants to have fun with you. go out to dance, have a few drinks in a jazz joint, watch a concert from the vip section. (he doesn’t do anything less than that).

- you and lucas will become henrik’s kids’ godparents, which means, lots and lots of visits, gifts you’ll be handing out, and most importantly, lucas and henrik sharing their stories since they became friends.

- get used to the idea of henrik questioning when you guys will be having some little ones, and watch lucas pour himself a scotch and twist his lips before walking away whil rolling his eyes.

- lucas might be more interested in books when he’s older. so maybe a new hobby, onaa quiet night, is to read together on the couch. either a glass of wine, or a cuppa will make you two company. he’s very upbeat, but i don’t think that would be a bad thing for him.

- on the travelling note, i can see him booking tickets to places like the bahamas, bora bora, maui. paradises you can explore together and make lots of memories. in my head, that’s what lucas is all about.

- volunteering is part of the narrative since now. eventually, and i might be trippin’ here, but i see lucas as the type to have a program to help people in need. wither funding the program and staying as the sponsor, or actually having a non-profit organization. something he wants to do later, since now he need to have an estabilished life first.

- a house. right now his apartment has lots of room for you both and your pets. which i don’t think he would be the type of not accepting a dog. (i can see him liking german sheppards even.) but eventually, friends and family coming over will become a habit. he wants people around you, the close brothers and their kids. so a house with two guest bedrooms? yes! a backyeard for them to play and run around, yes! this way he keeps his friends close and you can have parties like i imagine.

- on that party note. PARTIES. lots of it. he might be the type that tells henrik to bring everyone and have a barbecue in the summer. having a drink after the food and playing poker with his closest friends while henrik’s kids, gary’s and bobby’s are running around or playing cards themselves.

Satan's POV:

I just finished a job in the Royal library and was walking out when my D.D.D. started to ring.

Satan: Huh?

I took it from my jeans' pocket and picked up, not looking at the ID of the caller.

Satan: Hello?

?? : Sa- *pant* Satan! Are you perhaps *pant* done with *glup** pant* your job?

Satan: Eh? MC?

MC: Ha-Hai!

Satan: Yes. Just left the library. Are you Ok, is everything alright? You sound like you're running?

MC: Y-yes.*wheeze* I'm ok! *panting* Just adrenaline rush!*More panting* Meet me in front of "Hocus Pocus" ASAP! *hangs up*

The fact that MC was panting, said adrenaline rush, that she was running, and ASAP, didn't lead me to think she is ok. I started running towards the shop so I can meet with her and see what's happening. I didn't want to think if something bad happened to her. I saw "Hocus Pocus" But I didn't saw her anywhere. I stopped in front of the shop to take my breath, but right then, I saw her running on the verge of passing out clutching her sweater and a lower demon chasing her. She tripped so I lunged forward to catch her in my arms and sent the demon a death glare enough to make them run to their mother.

Satan: MC? MC?!

MC: th-thanks.

She tried to stand up but her legs wobbled so I put her to sit on the near bench. She started to collect her breath but I noticed she still hugged her sweater and there was a little bump.

Satan: Explain, what happened?

MC: Well I was supposed to go shopping with Asmo, since I wanted new pair of shoes, but somewhere in the crowd I lost him. I tried to search for him but, when I looked at the street I saw this little guy-*shows a kitten hidden in her sweater*- about to get smashed buy a car so, I rushed and signaled the car to stop as I grabbed it. The car stopped on literally centimeters from me. When I was about to go away, the driver got out of the car and started yelling at me, for making him stop, since he was in a hurry, and now he was late, so he started chasing me. That's till I called you and you scared him away.

For a moment I was about to scold her but seeing the kitten and that the driver had overreacted, plus that the kitten couldn't see the danger since it was not even a full week of age. This probably meant that its mother had died, too.

MC: Can you help me take care of it?

Satan: However I much hate to say it, Lucifer won't allow it.

I couldn't resist this adorableness so I agreed.

MC: Please~! I'll take responsibility if he finds out! *she and the kitten give him THE EYES*

Satan: Fine... But then we should buy it some things of importance.

MC: I know, we need cat toilet, syringes, bowls for food and water, bed, collar and shampoo.

Satan: Where the syringes came from?

MC: I thought you would know, since the kitten is still a baby, it can't eat on his own, that's why we will feed him through syringes.

Satan: That's true. We better, then, get going to buy them, if you are feeling better, that is.

MC: Yes, I am. Let's go then!

She gently hugged the kitten to her chest as she stood up from the bench and petted its head, it was really adorable. Then we headed of through the shops to buy the need attributes.

We bought everything we needed and headed towards the House of Lamentation.

Satan: How are gonna hide the kitten from Lucifer?

MC: I was thinking if we made it a hut in between your books so when Lucifer is there he won't be able to find it? If possible we can put small sound blocking spell so we are sure he won't hear of the kitty is a bit loud.

Satan: Sounds, possible but we will need to reorganize my books and this will take some time.

MC: I think we will manage. Another plus is that I heard, Lord Diavolo gave Lucifer bunch of paperwork so Lucifer will be busy in his study till late.

We carried on a conversation till we arrived in front of our house. We quietly made it to my room, then she left so she can take one of the small and empty laundry baskets, two bottles of warm water and small blanket so, we warm up the cat. A bit later we fed it and washed it in my bathroom. We carefully dried it and put it to sleep.

MC: Satan, can I stay her for the night? I want to look after the kitten. Which reminds me we haven't named it, yet.

Satan: Don't worry I'll look after it, you take some sleep. And we will think of a name later.

MC: Nu-uh! You should sleep, I'll look after it!

I sighed.

Satan: First change in your nightwear, then we will talk ok?

She nodded and left the room. While she was gone, I took a shower and got in my pajamas as well. When I went back in my room, I saw she was already there.

MC: Pfft...*giggles* Oh goodness! Hahahaha!

Satan: What?

MC: The towel on your- hahaha- it looks like you have put some cheap wig on! Hahahaha! Come here.

She went closer to me, rose on her toes and stared drying my hair with the towel.

MC: And~ done!

Satan: Thank, MC. But now my hair is messy.

MC: Not much different from your normal hairstyle, haha.

The kitten: Nya~

We both turned to it. And both started laughing. MC took the the kitten out of the basket and snuggled it to her.

MC: How about if it a boy name it Satan, since you love cats?

I blushed, a lot, but then smirked.

Satan: Ok, but only if you accept, that if it a girl to be named MC!

MC: Wh-wh-wha?! N-n-n-no! It wouldn't suit it. How about we both meet in the middle, something we both like? M-m-maybe, if it's a girl, Lilith?

She was beet red and stuttering mess.

Satan: Sounds good, but if it's a boy?

MC: Maybe, Adler? Wasn't he the lead character and inspector from one of your favorite criminal novels "The mid-fall murders"?

Satan: You... you remembered that?

I'm glad I accepted to help MC with the cat. I'm sure that it will help is get more deep and meaningful relationship. And who knows, might help us prepare a bit, for the day we might have kids.

FLUFF ALPHABET — GARY RENNELL🧸

hi beautiful people💕 i’m doing the fluff alphabet challenge by @ravena-dottir, in collab with awesome @mrsgaryrennell✨ we really took our time to analyze crane boi’s personality here, to give the most accurate responses posible💖 aaaand this is a long one, as everything i write😂 i hope you like it.

A = Attractive (What do they find attractive about the other?)

physically, he is drawn to a girl’s eyes and smile, as he compliments MC for those in the game. he also is a butt and thigh guy👀 personality wise, he appreciates curiosity, intellectuality and overall kindness.

B = Baby (Do they want a family? Why/Why not?)

absolutely YES. he wants to have children of his own to take care of and to prove himself that he can be the best dad ever, the father he never had. he dreams of taking his little boy to football practice and teach him mechanics💙 you bet he’ll be there for this children whenever they need him and will be extra protective and such a cool dad🥺 and if he finds a girl with the same love and care inside of her, there’s no doubt he’d be eager to start a family asap.

C = Cuddle (How do they cuddle?)

in canon, he’s always giving cuddles or asking for them, so crane boi here is a cuddle fan💖 @mrsgaryrennell and i came to the conclusion that Gary’s love language is mainly physical, because cuddling is his type of intimacy and his way to show affection, rather than words for example. he likes bed cuddles with his girl lying on his chest and his bigs arms around her, especially in the morning. even if his girl is not close, he’ll pull her into a cozy cuddle or simply ask for one✨

D = Dates (What are dates with them like?)

he prefers very casual dates and if he gets to plan it, he’ll put thought into it. for example, he plans a simple picnic date and makes sure he brings good food and takes his girl to a nice place; or a movie date and makes sure to buy popcorn and get really good seats. overall, Gary transforms simple dates into something especial without going over the top💕 during the date, expect a “top quality banter and an absolute gent” lmao, especially the gent part because he’s basically proud of his nan educating him like that.

E = Everything (You are my ____ (e.g. my life, my world…))

he’ll probably turn this phrase into a joke because he doesn’t like being a melt😂 it would ruin his lad image. in joking mode, he’d say something along the lines of “you’re the loaf of my life” while holding a piece of bread lmao, but in a serious occasion he’d say “you’re my happiness” or “you’re my favourite”.

F = Feelings (When did they know they were in love?)

in the game, we think he realized he had fallen for MC while the girls were away in CA. he found himself missing her big time and thinking about her all the goddamn time, wishing she was there with him. also the idea of having a domestic life with MC is what made him sure that she was the one💖

G = Gentle (Are they gentle? If so, how?)

gentle is basically Gary’s middle name lmao, that boi is full of gentleness. he’s gentle when he holds his girl, when he kisses her, in his wording even when he’s not very good at expressing himself with words. everything he does, he makes sure he does it with care and tenderness🙈

H = Hands (How do they like to hold hands?)

as most of his way to show affection is through physical contact, he often reaches for his girl’s hand. Gary is a simple guy, so he doesn’t really care if he’s holding the back of her hand, her palm, if his fingers are intertwined or not— he doesn’t really care as long as their hands are together💕 he’s also the type to caress the back of her hand with his thumb in a soothing manner.

I = Impression (What was their first impression?)

oh boy oh boy, when it comes to first impressions, Gary comes across as handsome, confident, cheeky and flirty, which can result into him looking like a laddy lad type of guy💪🏻 it’s not far fetched lol but in the first impression of him you miss a lot of the depth of his character and personality.

J = Jealousy (Do they get jealous?)

not👏🏻at👏🏻all. he doesn’t mind if a guy approaches his girl and flirts a little, because he likes to see that others appreciate her too. when he would definitely get jealous is when the person hitting on his girl is really bold and obvious. Gary is a “silent jealous”, which means that he will not be confrontational about it but will throw deadly glances, frown and mutter under his breath. he will just stand at one side trying not to look bothered, arms crossed and grumbling to himself lmao. and then, when asked, he’ll deny to death that he’s jealous💀

K = Kiss (How do they kiss? Who initiated the first kiss?)

we all know the guy has experience, so he is definitely an expert kisser. he really enjoys slow kisses and likes to take his time, he doesn’t rush and is also very gentle. basically, he knows what to do, when to do it and how to do it😉 he likes playful and sneaky kisses too, everything that comes along with some cheekiness. in the game, MC always initiates the kisses, so there’s that🤷🏻‍♀️ but it fits his personality more for him to be the one initiating the kisses.

L = Love (Who says ‘I love you’ first?)

him, and it’s canon. Gary is an open book, so as soon as he is sure that he’s in love, he’ll try to let his girl know in the most intimate way posible. he’ll say it in private and will make sure he picks the right moment.

M = Memory (What’s their favourite memory together?)

in the game, the final date, when he asks MC to be his girlfriend. outside of the Villa, definitely the shipyard date, because it’s the first time a girl accepts to go watch the lights of the cranes with him🥺💕

N = Nickel (Do they spoil? Do they buy the person they love everything?)

crane boi doesn’t spoil, less with expensive things🤷🏻‍♀️ but, he will treat his girl with everyday, simple and casual details. she likes a certain type of tea? he will make sure to buy it whenever he can. she likes chocolate? he’ll buy some whenever he goes grocery shopping. maybe will even buy her a flower if he wants to come home with a surprise. in general, he buys small, meaningful things that will come to usage for her.

O = Orange (What colour reminds them of their other half?)

for MC, he reminds her of navy blue and the color red. the first one is partially influenced by his eyes and the second is because of his cozy flannel💕

P = Pet names (What pet names do they use?)

in canon, he uses “love, babe, cutie, darling and poppet” when referring to MC. he also uses “mate” as kind of a pet name too😂 we recently noticed that Gary is all down for melty pet names and even makes them up himself, so he surely will have a personalized and creative nickname for his girl💕

Q = Quaint (What is their favourite non-modern thing?)

he likes old and vintage appliances, especially ones that are broken so he can fix them. @mrsgaryrennell has a cute headcanon in which Gary likes to fix old stuff (e.g radios) for elderly people or for donating them to charity😢💙

R = Rainy Day (What do they like to do on a rainy day?)

Gary loves rainy days, it’s canon. he either is down to go dancing in the rain or to spend it at home, cuddling next to a window with his head lying on his girl’s lap as she plays with his hair💖 and drinking a warm cuppa, of course.

S = Sad (How do they cheer themselves/others up?)

this is a heavy one. we all know Gary’s struggles with mental health, so even after his therapy his first option is going to the gym. he thinks it helps with sadness when it doesn’t, but at least he feels less stressed out afterwards. after that, if he is really down, he’ll go talk to his nan about it🥺 to find comfort and support in her.

when cheering others up, he is all about company and being reassuring. he tries to get people to talk about their feelings because, through therapy, he has learned that it works. when the other person is well enough, he will try to make a joke to lighten the mood✨ as my girl @mrsgaryrennell said: even though he’s a little broken himself, he still tries to make others feel better.

T = Talking (What do they like to talk about?)

cRAnEs🏗 aND hiS nAn👵🏻😂 he’s a Star Wars fan, so he would be very chatty about it, or about science in general. he also likes to share funny stories lol.

U = Unencumbered (What helps them relax?)

again, the gym thing, sadly😔 but apart from that, he likes to fix broken stuff when he is stressed, or build things for other people.

V = Vaunt (What do they like to show off? What are they proud of?)

his killer pecs and huge arms💪🏻😂 crane boi is very proud of who he is, so he mostly shows off his thicc body. we also have this headcanon in where Gary likes to show off his girl, to let the world know how amazing she is. he never shuts up about her💕🙈

W = Wedding (When, how, where do they propose?)

he would propose after a 3-4 year relationship, to make sure the time is right, and wouldn’t do it without talking about the idea of marriage with his girl first. he would propose in a very intimate and private way, just the two of them in a especial place for both💙

I first found your stuff on AO3, and then came over to Tumblr to read everything!! it's amazing and I can't get enough. I have a request, if you're up to it: MC is physically hurt buy another demon. how do the brothers (+whoever you wanna write) react/take care of them?

First off, thanks for the compliments. It means a lot to hear that people like my writing. Secondly, I'm a sucker for these kinds of prompts, so I would love to write it.

His first priority is to make sure you're okay

Props you up on a nearby wall and uses his cape to cover you up

Then he goes after the demon that dares to hurt his precious human

It doesn't even take five seconds before that demon is nothing more than a puddle of red

Immediately goes back over to you

Picks you up as gently as possible and takes you back to the house

Finds a healing spell and heals you up as best he can

Lays you down in his bed and sits there until he deems you healed enough to stand on your own

Mammon

Just nothing but pure rage from him

His vision goes red at the sight of your injured body

Hardly anyone has seen him this mad, so the demon who hurt you can barely even move out of fear

He doesn't even waste his time with this one

Snaps the demon's neck and tosses them aside as if they're nothing

His head starts to clear up now that the threat has been taken care of

Has a bit of an adrenal crash, but is still able to get you home

Immediately calls for his brothers cause he knows he can't help you much

Refuses to leave your side while Satan patches you up

Levi

This is one of the few times he's glad he left the house

Doesn't even spare the demon a glance

They aren't worth his time

Instead, he just crouches down next to you and checks for vitals

He learned a lot during his time as Grand Admiral, including how to take care of an injured person

Rips off some of his clothing to help temporarily bandage any open wounds

Then practically rushed home

He hasn't moved this fast in centuries, so his brothers knew something was wrong

Takes you to the main bathroom where the first aid kit is stored and takes proper care of your wounds

Surprisingly good with stitches and such

Informs Lucifer about the demon so that he, Barbs, and Dia can deal with them

Satan

The demon doesn't even stand a chance against him

Like, they're dead before they even try to escape

He's able to calm down relatively quick and assess the situation

You're clearly not in critical condition, so that's a plus in his book

Handles you with the same gentleness he handles a kitten

Brings you home so he can find a healing spell in one of his thousands of books

Eventually finds one that isn't too strong for a human and heals you up

He brings you back to your room to rest while he goes to make you a drink

Offers to read to you once you feel a bit better

Asmo

Oh, he gets scary when he's mad

He just goes completely silent as he walks up to the scene

His face is totally blank as well

No expression as he grabs the demon and rips their neck out with his teeth

Yeah, that demon is dead

Doesn't wanna risk hurting you, so he calls Solomon to help you out

Luckily, Solomon was in the area and happens to know a good healing spell that won't drain what little energy you have left

Brings you back home once he knows you're okay and refuses to let you out of his room

Beel

He eats the demon

Just, straight up eats them

No remorse, no hesitation

It would be disturbing if you weren't in such pain

Very gentle with you, as he always is

Drops you off in his room so that Belphie can watch you while he gets the first aid kit

Bandages you up to the best of his ability, but Belphie does eventually take over

Starts following you every time you leave the house out of fear you'll get hurt again

Another one to just completely ignore the demon

He can deal with that idiot later

Now, you need help, and he's gonna make sure you get it

Immediately brings you to Satan since he knows Satan can heal you

Once he makes sure Satan didn't miss anything, he takes you up to the attic

Cuddles you close for the rest of the night

Major flashbacks to Lilith and the time he killed you

Refuses to let this happen again

Barbs

Yeah, that demon no longer exists in any timeline ever

He just straight up deletes them from existence

Takes you to the castle to heal you up

Bandages every wound with care and precision

Calls Luci and lets him know that you'll be spending the night at the castle

Keeps you in his room for the night to make sure all of your injuries heal properly

Brings you back to the house the following morning

Courting Headcanons

I’m including all of the demons in this post because why not

General:

So while all demons are different when it comes to the mating process, they do also share some commonalities with one another

All demons will give something to the object of their affection

The object is different depending on the demon, and can range from rare and expensive items to a shiny rock they found on the side of the road

The demon’s sin is usually also heightened even more due to their more primal instincts coming out

Pride demons will show off a lot more than usual, Greed and Envy demons will become much clingyer, Wrath demons will explode if they are not near mate, Lust demons get even hornier, Gluttony demons will find it even harder to get full since it isn’t food they’re craving, and Sloth demons find themselves even more tired when not around their mate

Demons never court someone unless they are fully devoted to the one they’re trying to mate with

Courting has a certain process that takes place, usually, over the span of many years

If the person accepts the courting, then the two will mate with one another

It’s rare that someone will reject the courting, but it does happen and it is not a pretty sight

Let’s just say at least of of those demons is not getting out of it alive

Courting a human also isn’t unheard of among demons, but it is also super, super rare for a demon to do so

It doesn’t have the same consequences as when an angel gets with a human, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t any

Mostly just the knowledge that humans have a much shorter lifespan and that they’ll die long before the demon will

Some demons might also give a piece of themselves to their partner once they’ve accepted the courtship

Not anything weird, just something like a scale or feather depending on which ones they have

Courting is also more common among certain types of demons compared to others

In order from most to least common we have:

Greed demons, Envy demons, Sloth demons, Gluttony demons, Wrath demons, Pride demons, and Lust demons

Lust demons court the least since they usually don’t form romantic bonds with someone

On the flipside, Greed demons are the most likely to court someone since they become easily attached to people

Demons also love making the one their courting smell like them

Scenting is very personal for demons, so doing so is a sign of trust and dedication

It’s also very intimate since it involves such close contact

Lucifer:

You’d think he’d be really bold about courting someone, but you’re wrong

His pride won’t actually let him stoop so low as to just be that upfront about it

Instead, he goes about it in a more tactical way

Hangs around you more often than usual, using excuses like needing to watch after you since you’re such a weak human and all

During these time, he’ll gather information about you

Likes, dislikes, any little fact he can get out of you

Once he’s gotten what he needs, he begins the next step in his courting process

He starts out small: buying you small items he knows you’ll like, ordering some Human World food he heard you enjoy, and whatever else he knows you might appreciate

If that isn’t enough, he’ll up his game

Begins taking you out to fancy restaurants, buying you expensive jewelry and clothes, basically showering you in riches and goods

If you don’t catch on by this point, he’ll be very frustrated

He hates just straight up asking since it seems so simple and mundane to him in comparison to what he’s been doing already

But, clearly, that seems to be the only way to get what he wants, so he’ll suck it up for a few minutes and ask you out normally

Takes him a minute to push his pride down enough to actually ask you right away, but when he does it’s very sweet

Mammon:

It takes him a while to figure out that he has feelings for you, but when he does he does everything in his power to ensure the feelings are returned

Ya know how everyone always says that if Mammon takes a liking to you then you’re suddenly bombarded with riches?

Yeah, that’s very true

Everything you could ever want just suddenly appears in your room

Doesn’t matter how expensive the item(s) may be, he’ll gives you absolutely whatever he thinks you’ll enjoy

Probably ends up getting punished by Lucifer because of it, but he could care less at this point

Also becomes even more clingy with you, if that’s even possible

If he sees you talking to anyone that isn’t him, he’ll just grab you by the hand and drag you away

Call him out on it and he’ll go all tsundere on you

I hope you’re good at reading people cause this man will never explicitly tell you how he feels

Then again, he’s super obvious about it, so it doesn’t take a genius to figure it out

Gets flustered around you super easily as well

Just give him a compliment and watch his face turn redder than Dia’s uniform honestly

Leviathan:

Gets even shyer than usual

Also becomes super hyperfixated on you for a while

Starts bringing you random merch from fandoms he knows you’re apart of

Lets you into his room more often for binge watching/gaming sessions

Gets flustered at the smallest of things

You so much as look at him and he’s just on the floor

Congrats, you broke him

Takes him a while, but he eventually gains a bit more confidence

probably goes to someone like Satan or Asmo to ask for advice

Or he just resorts to his romance games/manga

Tries doing all of the cute tropey stuff in hopes that something will work

Oh yeah, remember how he’s the Avatar of Envy? That becomes even more obvious

Worst than Mammon when it comes to dragging you away from people

At first, he’s too shy to do anything when he sees you talking to someone

But once that confidence hits, it’s over for everyone

Tries to keep you locked in his room, and it gets so bad at one point that the brothers have to ban together just to free you

Another one who refuses to outright tell you that he’s trying to court you

Honestly, please make the first more if you reciprocate

If you don’t, then at least save him the embarrassment by telling him you don’t feel the same

He might feel super upset in the moment, but he’ll appreciate it later

Satan:

Much subtler compared to his brothers

Offers to spend time with you and takes you places he thinks you’ll enjoy

Also tutors you in any subjects you may be struggling with or just want practice in

Never forces you to do anything with him, unlike the others

If he sees you talking to someone who isn’t him, it doesn’t bother him in the slightest

He’s confident enough to know that he’s better than them anyways

And then he sees you talking to Lucifer

All of his confidence from before? Out the window

Just pure rage

Will pick you up, throw you over his shoulder, and force you into his room

Basically, don’t talk to Lucifer if he is around

He’ll never admit it, but he is somewhat jealous of him in the sense that Lucifer is probably the only brother who stands a chance against him

After all, if you’re gonna choose anyone who isn’t him, it has to be Lucifer, it’s the logical choice after all

Of course, he’ll never admit any of this to lest he show any sign of vulnerability to a future mate

On a much lighter note, he’s very sweet when he’s not rage quitting at the sight of Lucifer

Buys you a ton of books, or just gives you some he already has

Isn’t a huge fan of over-the-top dates, prefers something more lowkey

Coffee shops, bookstores, museums, and of course cat cafes

Gives you lots of compliments, but nothing overbearing in case you might be uncomfortable with it

Doesn’t mind telling you exactly how he feels and what his intents are, but it takes him a few tries to get the words right

Asmodeus:

Oh boy

Where do I even start with this one?

Has the least experience when it comes to actual romantic attraction

Sure, he feels lust all the time, but that’s much different from romance

Has a surprisingly hard time figuring out how to court you without bringing his more promiscuous desires into the mix

He knows how important mating can be, and he’s also aware just how much every Lust demon struggles with the courting process, but that doesn’t make it any better for him

Tries his absolute best to make you feel like the most special individual in all three worlds

Takes you shopping all the time

Doesn’t matter what for, he just wants to spend time with you

Also does self-care days with you at least once a week

At first, he was very clingy with you and tried to hog all of your attention for himself

If that annoys you at all, he’ll stop if you tell him to enough times

Tells you how much he adores you every second of every day, but has a hard time seriously saying it

For him, it’s one thing to tell a friend that you love them

But to actually confess to someone that you like them in a romantic way? Especially when you’re literally the Avatar of Lust?

It’s virtually impossible for him for the longest time

He does eventually do it, but it took a lot of hyping up from Satan for him to get there

Probably one of the only times he ever looks vulnerable or scared

Beelzebub:

Honestly the most straightforward with his feelings

He’s not usually one to beat around the bush, and he’s very blunt most of the time

Plus, it’s not like he’s stupid, he knows what these feelings are and he isn’t afraid to tell you

A lot of people like to make him all innocent and blushy, but that isn’t really him

Yeah, he can be dense sometimes, but that doesn’t mean he knows nothing about this sort of stuff

In fact, he’s quite knowledgeable on the subject of courtships

Starts out slow so as not to overwhelm you

He knows how scary it can be to have a demon suddenly show interest in you, so he wants to make sure you are completely comfortable with everything he does

Most of the stuff he courts you with usually involves food

To him, food is very special, and you’re also very special

So in his mind, combining two of the most special things in his life sounds like the best time ever

Takes you out to all sorts of restaurants and food tours

Also loves cooking with you at home

Even if you’re a terrible cook, he doesn’t mind

He just loves spending time with you and having fun together

Once he’s gotten to a place where he thinks you’re comfortable enough, he’ll tell you his feelings and about how he’s been courting you for a while now

He’s a tad embarrassed/nervous, but he’s also happy to finally be telling you after such a long time of waiting

Belphegor:

Feels a bit guilty for wanting to court you at first

Cause, ya know, the incident

But after he gets over that, he acts relatively the same as always

Lowkey the most casual when it comes to courting, which I feel is the norm for Sloth demons

They’re too lazy to really do anything that involves effort, so they tend to stay casual

That doesn’t mean he doesn’t try though

Constantly flops on top of you throughout the day in hopes of getting some cuddles

It’s also a good way to rub his scent on you, but you don’t need to know that

Becomes super possessive, but not like his brothers

Won’t actively try and drag you away from someone because that means putting in effort and he’s not about that life

However, the second you walk away from them, he is taking you to the nearest corner and cuddling the heck out of you

No, you do not get a say in the matter, and no, he does not care if you are busy or uncomfortable

You will stay with him to make up for so much as breathing in the general area of someone who isn’t him

The only other individual he’s okay with you being around is Beel because obviously

Still acts like a total brat tbh

Teases you to hide his embarrassment if he ever gets flustered around you

Like everything else, he’s super casual when telling you how he feels and what he’s been doing

Just ignore the blush he has, you’re just imagining it

Diavolo:

Actually has the least experience with this sort of thing

A Prince courting is a super big deal down here, and there are tons of extra rules he’s forced to follow

Not to mention, a mate is usually pre-picked for the future king, so he never thought he’d have to deal with it

Then he met you, and he decided that rules were stupid anyway

Super awkward at first, but he’s doing his best and he’s really cute about it too

It’s totally obvious what he’s doing, but no one knows if he’s being obvious on purpose or not

Even he isn’t really sure at this point

Once he becomes more comfortable in his skin, it’s over for everyone

Bold as hell tbh

And since he’s the Prince, he can afford to go all out with everything he does

Rents out entire restaurants just for the two of you

Buys you every item from a really expensive store if you mentioned liking the products there

Really though, he just wants you to know how much he cares about you, and this is the only way he knows how

Also a sucker for cuddles

Comes up to you and hugs you any chance he gets

When the time comes for him to tell you, he’ll be super excited

Might have a slight blush on his face, but he’s also wearing the biggest and most genuine smile you’ve ever seen on a demon

Barbatos:

Another demon with very little experience in this field

Knows how courting works in theory, but can’t really put it into practice without feeling all awkward

Of course, no one ever knows that he’s feeling that way since he’s a master of facade, but still

Once you catch his eye, it’s over for him

He wants nothing more than to court you, but there are a couple of things stopping him

One is, obviously, the lack of knowledge on the subject

The other is his loyalty and devotion to Diavolo

Ends up going to Dia to ask permission to court you like the proper butler he is

Dia just laughs, but agrees

And thus begins the hard part: actually attempting to court someone

Starts off small: inviting you over for tea, taking you on walks through the castle gardens, and taking with him when he goes on trips to the human world

Honestly, he won’t go past that since anything more would be outside his comfort zone

Still a gentleman as always, and makes sure nothing he does is overbearing to you

Tries to stay as casual and formal as always, but you can see his mask crack a few times

If you ever compliment him, you’ll see a rare blush appear on his cheeks

Appreciate the sight, for not many have seen it and lived to tell the tale

Flustered Barbs is best Barbs

Takes him a hot minute to figure out how he wants to tell you, but his confession is still very sweet and to the point

damn rylan, back at it again with the loveable idiots — hello everyone & meet natalie, 29, devil’s disciple and sad sack of shit. she’s a recovering addict and an artist, part-time waitress at hale’s diner, part-time gardener at greer’s greenhouse, full time nerd and tiger enthusiast. find her info, facts & wanted connections below!! BIO:

at ten she’s a spark begging to be ignited. a kid with a bright imagination, but her parents aren’t happy. school is hard for the girl who’ll spend hours covering textbooks in flowers — why should two plus two matter, she thinks, when i can make the paper bloom into whole gardens, full of creatures staring back at me, when i can create my own world? her parents have never been the kind to waste their days daydreaming. they look at their youngest daughter and think: where does she take it? all this carefree passion of hers, where does it come from? she lacks her father’s disposition for numbers, how clinically pristine they look when lined up one after the other, and how satisfying they feel when preceded by a plus sign on a bank invoice. she has none of her mother’s backbone, the way she carries herself as if pure, molten gold flew into her veins — staring everyone down, making herself taller. she seems to only have eyes for fleeting things, mundane passions: for her colors, for the music of a guitar, for the way the desert sand blows into her hair at sundown. come a couple years, all she has eyes of is the boy playing his guitar among the wrecks of a car parts graveyard — says his name is elvis and she knows that isn’t true, but in las vegas, somehow, you can make yourself be whoever you want to be. she smiles, and says her name is tiger instead: in another life, perhaps, she was fierce and with a bite.

at seventeen she’s golden spotlights on the vegas strip. atomic bomb waiting to explode, all summer glare and midnight rides into nowhere: it’s her and elvis in his daddy’s car and it feels like they could conquer the world, if they wanted. he sings to her, she dances for him, characters straight out of a ‘50s song, loaded with a naivety that tastes like the american dream. no time for overbearing parents, no attention paid in school: it’s just them, skin on skin, flowers blooming from her fingers in spray paint over abandoned buildings. this could last forever, she thinks, she begs, she prays: a life like this could last forever. (a life like this drains the best of her). elvis was born to be a king like his namesake, and he’s got dreams of fame and glory that don’t contemplate her presence. street artists never become rockstars, and she has time for nothing more than the creatures lunging out of her fingers, onto the paper. she’s skin and bones, ink and notes, like she could live off of music and drawings alone — and him, always him, a golden god, a forbidden hymn. the night he signs his first record deal she grabs her inks and her pens — draws a present on his skin, a crown for the king to be. and as she draws, she prays: that their dreams can be true, that this is not a happy chorus in a ballad, but a rock opera, a discography for the ages to come. she prays for him like a beggar at an altar: and maybe there’s magic in that crown she draws, there’s truth in the prayer she pours into it. he wins his dreams and leaves her behind: prayers always require sacrifices.

at twenty-two she’s broken lightbulbs under strangers’ feet. she’s shards of glass she could cut people with, but it’s herself she harms; see, elvis’ gone but there’s tons of friends in his place. there’s mary jane, addy, crystal, lucy and all her diamonds. vegas is a wonderland, a new high hidden ‘round every corner, and kind people willing to hand ‘em out like candy to an hazy, improvised alice — the drawings grow darker now, shadows with caved-in eyes and hollow chests. the colors don’t come the way they used to, and when they do they all look like a shade of nightmares — blood red, nausea green, despair blue. she looks for answers in his songs: on the radio, in her mind, she swears he still sings about her. has to follow him to the middle of the desert, to a festival where he stands on a stage and people swear he looks just like the real thing, the king himself. she doesn’t see him, though, but a hole where all her strength used to be, the us against the world turned into the open jaws of a ravenous monster: us against the world, and then the world collapses. wonderland turns to the land of nightmares, and the needle, it is her salvation — down the rabbit hole, she thinks, and someone must come out on the other side. either her, or the ghost of her. either her, or her evil turned to flesh. there is no white rabbit but a man — a good man, a honest man, with an inclination to fixing broken things. he helps her up to her fit, treats her alike his daughter and his sister, and when he begins asking her to help fix the remains of a broken bike, she begins to wonder whether he isn’t trying to fix her, too. sometimes he calls her tiger and she remembers when she fancied herself a wild and untamed thing, escaping cages, just following her instincts. under the heat of the south-west sun, she smiles. maybe all tigers were lost creatures at first.

at twenty-nine she’s neon gas begging to be lit up. there’s a tiger on her forearm, hides the scars of a previous life. there’s always ink under her fingernails, sometimes it seems it shines in the dark. charming has become her home: the devil’s disciples, her family. the bike she’d begun to fix with the man who helped her now bears the name of tempest, and she rides it out with the devils letting it add to the spirit in her heart — wild, untamed, free. her family becomes charming, becomes the devils, becomes rett, lani and rowan. she’s made herself a home in the sand: an old garage, turned inside out, now overflowing with flowers and colors, sparkling gems and drawings hanging at every corner — and a canary, otis, that sings her to sleep every night. she’s called it dustland, a sort of mythical place at the edge of charming, willing to welcome all the broken, all the wounded and the lost. but she loses herself too, now and then. at times she looks past the profiles of houses and buildings, and knows there’s a den of wolves in there, which hold the key to that rabbit hole she once lost herself in. at night, when the desert gets cold and her bones don’t feel anything like a tiger’s — she swears she can hear the wolves howl, beckoning. when she does, she turns to the ink to remind herself of how life was drained out of all shades, because of the needles in her arm. sometimes it’s enough to keep her breathing to the night. sometimes.

ABOUT:

• ‘heart over matter’, because she barely ever acts on anything other than pure instinct. • she lives in a refurnished garage on the edge of town, and she’s given it the name of ‘dustland’. it’s full of trinkets and good luck charms, colors and drawings hanging on every corner, flowers, healing gems and her bird, a pet canary named otis. it’s a big enough place to hide people who need to lie low for a while, people who need to get patched up or goods that need to be out of the radar of unwanted visitors. • the above mentioned ways the dustland has been used before are also some of the biggest ways in which nat contributes to the mc. she’s not much use in a fight, but is resourceful enough to always find ways to help and prove her belonging in the club, be it by smuggling goods, helping the wounded, whatever it’s required that doesn’t imply bloodshed. • when she isn’t working, you will find her drawing on virtually any available surface. she tends to create beautiful, meaningful portraits for the people she loves the most too — they’re all some sort of surreal, odd watercolor portrait. • she has several tattoos other than the devils’ one, the most prominent one on her right arm: a big, colorful tiger she got about a year since her arrival in charming. it was a drawing she made channeling the nickname rett had given her, and it was inked by none other than the original nat, natalia ballard. • she’s a vegan, and a creative cook — she loves creating elaborate salad mixes and cakes with unexpected ingredients (flowers, herbs, peculiar fruits she seeks out at farmer’s markets, etc). • her bike, tempest, is a bike she and rett fixed back up while he was helping her get clean. it’s a little old and rusty, but still fights to this day (and nat finds the symbolism in it lovely).

WANTED CONNECTIONS:

coworkers/superiors at either of her two jobs (hale's diner/greer's greenhouse). someone from the gang who knows her / elvis / any of her friends, since they were all pretty involved in the drug dealing business. someone from the gang who might tempt her with substances again. fwbs (none of these will become actual relationships because she's taken, in that sense, but it might be a fun, or even relatively toxic, dynamic until then). people within the mc she's closest to — sibling figures, people who have a special connection with her, people who can't stand her, people who will often ask for favors such as hiding someone at her place or smuggle something somewhere. neighbors of sorts (she lives on the edge of town, in a garage basically in the desert, but there could be someone in the neighborhood who occasionally drops by for a coffee or something). friends from the auto shop! her bike, tempest, is an old thing she put back together with the help of rett, but it still needs constant care. i'd love for someone from charming auto to be telling her this bike needs to move on to its next life, ngl. enemies (it's rare for nat not to be well-inclined towards someone, but sometimes she gets a bad vibe from people and will turn stone-cold to them, and that's a dynamic i'd very much like to explore). some sort of trainer who might help her grow at least some fight in the physical sense. + literally anything, i'm down for whatever dynamic so just hit me up!!
