Some would say he dives headfirst without thinking, according to Cam it's always thought out. His "impulsiveness" is part of his charm. He could care less about others, but one look in your direction is all it takes to soften him up. Cam is confident, sarcastic, and some would say rude. Yet never to you. You can’t help noticing how he looks at you, has it always been this adoringly? Cam works as a photographer.

❥The Rival: Gage/Garnet Kim [M or F] – G was one of your closest friends/rival in college, now just a sore reminder of the bad choices you’ve made. G was your educational rival in every sense of the word. You fought about everything. G has always had a sharp tongue, and stood out as a lone wolf. They're stoic, detached, and a bit closed-off. Regardless, Cam was able to soften their tough exterior. Getting close to one another was inevitable. Your chemistry undeniable. That was until a fight one night at the dorms. Everyone has a bad word to say about Ardent. Even his cat (who is the cause of the scars on his arms). Since seeing you something about you has just rubbed him the wrong way, always quick to throw a snide comment your way. Ardent is the type who you could argue with about anything, wanting to pull his hair out afterwards. Surely, he can’t be that bad right? KC: Her story in her intro was a little misleading. She implies that she only met Yasmin once, but in some possible flavour text in Waveform you can find out that they actually dated for a bit. You'll note that KC met Yasmin through dating Yasmin's best friend... uh... yeah (don't worry, their friendship survived this lmao. You might meet her eventually)

Yvette: Y'know Darling, and how the two of them are really close? They actually used to date before Darling transitioned! Well, "date" in the sense that you and Yvette would "date," lmao. But Yvette helped her out during her transition and they became more friendly with each other and it just started feeling weird to continue that relationship, so now they're just close friends.

I just took a really nice nap after eating a huge omelette. So I’m pretty sure I’m gonna stay up late tonight, sadly 😅.

I’ve played a couple! I mainly try to keep to my own corner when it comes to the community at large though— I’m a bit shy, if you haven’t been able to tell (unless it comes to all of you). I’ve also been trying to not get too distracted by other things because I want to get some more content out for Midnight Sun.

I sort of go all over when it comes to genre— if I like the plot then I don’t truly care about the genre. Fantasy typically pulls me in, but I truly enjoy anything.

When it comes to CoG/Hosted Games, I’ve played most of the usual games— Wayhaven, Fallen Hero (a little bit), Soul Stone Wars, The Keeper Series, etc… As for WIPs? I’ve sort of stayed in my corner, once again, so I don’t get too distracted, but I’m interested in a couple! @ramonag-if // @loveandleases // @within-your-eyes-if // @kalorphic // @doriana-gray-games // @greatprotector-if // @whatlovelybones-if, to name a few! I think there are a lot of wonderfully talented writers within the community and I wish them all the best! I hope they all get what they’re striving for when it comes to their stories, their characters, and everything else.

I hope your day is going great too! And I hope you’ll be able to get some sleep at a manageable time for, I hate whenever I can’t get enough sleep during the night (always makes me out of sorts during the day). ❤️

Progress Update

Hey everyone~ Hope everyone is doing well and had a great holiday season. For those of us who also celebrate Chinese New Year, the season is still going strong. This is going to be long so below the cut to save your dashboard.

Guess it's about time I post one of these. So, there was an anon who said I've been posting too many asks to actually be working on the if. For those who have followed me for a while, you know that I queue things. Meaning the blog stays active while I'm elsewhere. I have a new class starting in February which is going to be, well eventful to say the least. Luckily, that class will be online which means I have more time to focus on my writing/coding.

While some coding I can handle fine, some is just a bit of a hassle. This again makes me think of moving from twine to choice. I just enjoy the look of twine and the ease of it better. I've been working on ensuring I get all the customization options in the character creator. (This includes specific types of heterochromia). I've also been working on a master post. This will help in finding more information about chosen ro's, character dynamics, snippets, scenario asks, etc.

I've since decided that the demo will be shortened. If need be I will go through and move some things around so that you're still able to meet all the Ro's in the initial drop. I also want to do some alpha testing before the initial drop, which i will put an application out for. Not only will you get to meet the Ro's in the demo, you will also get to customize your MC, their looks, and even some relationships. (Looking at you G!) Not only will you get to decide on some relationships, but I also want you to meet a specific character in the demo. (Any guesses?) Hope some of you are a fan of choice indicators!

I keep going through rereading what I've gotten typed up and changing a few things. I know it doesn't have to be perfect because it's something I can always come back to. Yet, I want it to be perfect, to convey the right emotions such as betrayal by Chris and Jade, even MC's family. Will it be my best work? Probably not, but I will continue to come back to it so that it is on that level. So, until then if I get quiet it's because I'm just busy, if you see a lot of asks. I assure you I'm working on the if, I'm just answering and queuing things on the side. I guess I should show a few bits of code here and there. Maybe a small glimpse behind the curtain of Love and Leases. So this is just a glimpse of what is in Twine, I will end up changing the theme, font, font color etc. (Any guesses on who MC just had a meet cute with?)
