Ice bear headcanons!

Tickle, agere, extra/random hcs

Tickle headcanons

- He's very touch sensitive and hates being touched unless its by someone he's extremely close to, so only his brothers (and chloe at times) are allowed to touch him so therefore only they can attempt to tickle him

- His brothers have tickle fights all the time! Well...they're more onesided because of ice bear. he absolutely destroys his brothers in tickle fights because of how agile he is, not to mention his brothers are all nerves and hes only ticklish in a select few places.

- ice bear simply does not allow tickling in public. He won't let himself be ticklish if his guard is up but if hes relaxed with close friends he'll accept the touch and he might huff out a couple giggles if your lucky

- Chloe and ice bear hang out every sunday, and ice bear does tend to get playful with chloe resulting in a couple tickle fights. very one sided. although chloe tries her best, nothing is more powerful than a polar bear trying not to get tickled by a 10 year old girl.

- He's not a very teasy ler, he gets straight to business and likes to listen to the lee's laughter

- His favorite part about tickling his brothers is he gets to hear them laugh and that's his favorite sound because it reminds him of when they were kids

- He was more ticklish as a kid

- His laugh is still slightly monotone but a little more bubbly

- Not actually a squirmer, he freezes when he's tickled

Agere headcanons

- Ice bear regresses from time to time mostly because his brothers sense that hes stressed so they baby him until he accepts his fate

- He gets tickled more often when he's regressed because he's more comfortable acting childish which is the whole reason he regresses in the first place

- Sometimes he tries to tickle his brothers back if he feels playful, and often Panda and Grizz let their baby brother win the tickle fight

- He normally doesn't like the spotlight, but when his brothers are smiling and taking care of him he adores the attention

- He goes completely nonverbal when he's regressed, so thats a big hint to his brothers that he's smol

- Grizz calls him "bud" "champ" and "buddy" and Panda calls him "cub" and "kiddo"

- Ice bear obviously doesn't cook alone when he's regressed but considering cooking is his special interest, Panda and Grizz supervise him and are amazed at his skills even while small

- He's slightly more clumsy than usual and has this bouncy walk

- Just an overall happier aura

- Chloe only recently found out about his regression and was completely supportive and went out with him to buy him a stuffed animal which amused and embarrassed Ice bear since they went out while he was big. Part of a ficlet i wanna write abt that, "Chloe showed the plushy duck she'd purchased and Ice bear huffed out a small laugh as his cheeks flushed."

- Chloe isn't a care giver for him, but likes to hang out with Ice bear when he's small anyways. She thinks he's really cute and likes to imagine this is what he was like when he was a baby.

- Chloe's right, Ice bear is nearly exactly like when he was a kid just a bit more...baby.

- Grizz and Panda sometimes sing Ice bear some Russian lullabyes to make him smile because they always trip over the Russian words

- Refuses to go anywhere while smol out of embarrassment

- Loves playing pretend and is a very creative kiddo and loves making up stories and drawing

- He doesn't regress very often due to his multiple jobs around the house and only is small when everything is taken care of

- Things that make him slip are being cooked for, read to, being held, and just little actions of love. no words. words make him nervous.

- Panda and Grizz found out about his regression relatively sooner than you'd think, they know him a little too well

- Panda was very quick to understand and told Ice bear about his friends who were littles and that it was completely okay and normal

- Grizz was excited when he'd learned. maybe a bit too excited. He loved the idea of having a baby brother to look after again and would do literally anything for Ice bear

- Ice bear is extremely embarrassed to use paci's or bottles and would rather just cuddle up on the couch with a big fluffy blanket and a small inconspicuous stuffie

- Ice bear can quickly come out of little space if needed, but on some occasions he can be...very stuck. His brothers don't believe in forcing him out of his little space, if he's little for a little longer than usual than he must need it

- Normally he's only small for an afternoon every month but on some rare occasions he's also little in the morning

- His favorite food to have while he's smol is sweets but he doesn't get them too often, he cannot handle sugar very well and gets some pretty crazy sugar rushes. Like he's buzzing, quaking, because of the pent up energy

- He LOVES going outside and playing in the snow! He's smiling and giggling and making little dens in the snow. Panda and Grizz don't get the appeal, and stand there trying not to freeze

- He doesn't exactly need cg's but his brothers love to take care of him so he accepts their help to make them happy

- He does indeed have a nap time. which is whenever he gets sleepy. (he's always sleepy)

- Normally he's the cg for literally everyone so it's really weird when the roles are switched but the change is appreciated

Random headcanons

- Ice bear is afraid of heights, he'll deal with heights if he has too but he really doesn't like them

- He definitely had an imaginary friend as a kid and played pretend

- He finds back scratchies very comforting

- Loves hugs but too shy to admit it

- Loud crowded places trigger him

- Doesn't do well with new situations or new people

- Winter is his favorite season because of the snow and how comforting it is

- He talks in the 3rd person because he picked it up from Yuri

- Likes doing that thing kids do when they take your phone to look at filters and take a bunch of pictures

- He is not a force to be reckoned with on April fools day. He won't prank anyone unless he's pranked first, then he goes crazy with pranks and makes them regret existing near them

- The only two things that make him laugh are his brothers and maybee tickling:P

- Never ever gets sick, he's only gotten sick 6 times throughout his whole life and most of the times were when he was a cub

- Totally babies everyone he likes (Chloe, Panda, Grizz, ect..)

He's rather enthusiastic to have a partner he cares for so much, but if you've told him or if he's noticed that you'd prefer for him to turn down the hype a little, he'll definitely try to be a little more "chill" about it. He's rather inexperienced, but he's always eager to do his best in any situation, and when it comes to you he tries to bring his A-game and do his best to make you feel happy and loved.

He would absolutely love to learn about new things with you! Despite how he may seem, he's actually pretty knowledgable (when it comes to cybertronian artifacts and history, of course) and a fast learner. That isn't to mention that as a new-comer to Earth, he intends to learn as much as he can about the planet, not only because he thinks it'd be good to better understand the species he's trying to protect, but also out of genuine interest himself.

So if there are any interesting facts about the planet that you'd like to share with him, or books you'd be willing to lend him, you'll be his go-to source for everything there is to know about earth and humans. (A brief callback to one of my other things, this of course means that he'll be calling you whenever he has a question about something, but the more he does it, the more it seems like he isn't actually curious about what he's calling to ask you about, but rather he's instead doing it to hide the fact he really just wants to talk to you.)

And of course in exchange for everything you tell him about Earth, he's going to return the favor (as long as you ask him something he actually knows about)... But with your interest in space, he'd be able to tell you a lot of things about the stars and cosmos, all of which he learned about in the academy and from Alpha Trion while he was a guard at Iacon. Or he could tell you about cybertronian history, or cybertronian customs that he thinks you'd find interesting or funny.

But aside from that, he'd strive to impress you in whatever way possible, but unfortunately that's a bit... Difficult for him, since the first things that come to mind include feats of strength and shows of his fighting capabilities, but due to your dislike of violence, he decides to opt for other means instead. He quite literally searches up "ways to impress your crush" online and tries out the ones he thinks you'd like the most, like showing off his smarts, or showing that he's really interested in whatever's on your mind.

He's also the type of S/O who'd definitely try out stuff that their partner's into, so he's willing to try out a whole bunch of your hobbies if it means the two of you get to hang out together. I'd like to imagine he's particularly fond of listening to you play music, and perhaps he even hums along when he grows more familiar with the tune.

He'd definitely try to help you come out of your shell and he actively encourages you to live life whatever way makes you happy and live life with no regrets. He's also pretty quick to recognize most of his mistakes and make up for them accordingly. He also always emphasizes that he promises to learn from them (and he does for your sake).

Breakdown

He's actually pretty chill and easy-going as a partner. He doesn't usually do any showy romantic expressions of love (unless you like them), but that doesn't mean he takes the relationship lightly. He particularly enjoys just spending as much time with you as he can in your day-to-day lives. You don't have to do anything special like go on dates, he's just perfectly content hanging out with you and doing whatever you can together.

And contrary to how he looks as a "big brutish tough guy", he's actually very gentle and chill when it comes to you. He enjoys joking around and maybe the two of you even have a few inside jokes that you laugh about from time to time.

He's pretty fond of the great outdoors too! And though patrolling may still be tedious work, the scenery makes it all the more worthwhile. Not to mention that it isn't as boring whenever you offer to tag along for the ride. There are other times where the two of you go on foot, and he'll let you sit up on his shoulders to let you get a good view of the area. Or if there are any neat trees you'd want a closer look at, he'll make sure to lift you up there carefully and let you pick a leaf or a flower out of them.

Whenever the two of you patrol sparsely populated areas with lots of wildlife, he'll occasionally point out animals here and there, and he'll sorta make a game out it.

"Oh hey look! Dog! One point."

"That's not a dog..."

"What do you mean it's not—oh, wait, it's a horse, right? The horns make it a horse."

"Horns on a horse would make it a unicorn. That was a moose."

Of course he isn't any good at naming the animals he sees, but he thinks that it's neat that you get to tell him what those animals are, or what that plant is, or what that other neat thing is that he saw on the road.

And I feel like he isn't that squeamish or disgusted by bugs, and I think he'd find beetles or any kind of resilient or strong bug super cool despite their miniature stature.

Animals aside, Knockout once recommended that Breakdown should take you out to the theater, saying that it was a romantic thing that humans do. So you can expect drive-in theater movie nights to be a frequent thing from time to time. He'll let you sit in his cab and he parks somewhere with a good view of the screen. He claims that he doesn't find horror movies all that scary, and actually nitpicks at the actual details themselves, but from time to time you'll notice the subtle way his frame begin to shake and his tires twist during some particularly scary scenes... Tease him about it if you will, but not once will he ever admit to being afraid.

And also if you're ever interested in learning self-defense, he definitely would step up and offer to teach you how to punch people in the face. "You never know when it'll come in handy" is what he says to justify it.

He's not usually someone who gets hyped over gifts. That doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't like them, it's just that he's never received many gifts before, so he doesn't truly understand the hype around them. But once you come around and give him gifts, he gets around to understanding the appeal. He gets happy and a little excited whenever you bring him something, and he also tries to get you gifts to return the favor! But given his situation as a giant robot, he can't exactly do that for you, but what the two of you could do is check out old junkyards to see if there's anything neat to take.

and there's a 50% chance that when you go into your "enderwalk" state (the blackout) you blow something up, so there may or may not be an explosion somewhere nearby, you also have a 20% chance of building something small in you enderwalk state :)

He seems a bit off, Virgil thought to himself. He was honestly not very good when it came to emotions, so he didn’t really have a place to judge, but still. Virgil watched as the Prince went back to his room after his flamboyant wave. The Former Dark side shrugged off the others weird demeanor and put on his head phones. He as still very tired so he just selected MCR and put it on shuffle.

He decided to head over to to the kitchen, a light snack before dinner couldn’t hurt much. He passed Logan on his way there and saw that he was reading some kind of murder mystery book. Probably going to have a few scenes from that in Thomas’s nightmares tonight. Virgil grumbled a bit as he headed over to the fridge. It looked liked Patton was a almost done making dinner so he couldn’t eat a lot. He grabbed an apple from the fridge and went to sit on the counter.

Logan, somehow sensing him, he turned to the Anxious side and gave him a glare, to which Virgil just gave him a smug smirk. Ever since the others risked themselves by going to his room uninvited he’s become a lot more confident and open with them. It was honestly, nice, to have friend again.

Though as todays events came to mind his smirk turned into a frown. Deceit trying to make Thomas lie to his friend just to go to the call back had really stressed him out. Sure, he wanted to go to the callback to, but his friends needs where more important than his! I mean, if they found out Thomas lied for his own gain, they might think he’s horrible and wont want to be his friend anymore! What if-

“Virgil”

The hoodie covered side looked up to Patton who had a worried look on his face.

“Are you ok kiddo?” Patton asked. Oh, Virgil thought, I almost went into a panic attack. He took a few deep breath before looking up once more and giving the fatherly the side a small smile.

“Yah Dad, I’m fine, todays just been really stressful.” Patton gave a comforting smile, “ok son, well diners ready so could you please grab Roman for me?” “Sure pop star” he said as he jumped of the counter.

Virgil hummed along slightly to his music as he headed down the hallway. Romans room was pretty close to his, which Virgil found kinda odd since the farther along the hallway goes the darker the mind gets.

He stopped at the Princly side’s door and pulled off his headphones and opened the door just a crack. Soft humming came from the room and Virgil couldn’t help himself but to look in. He saw Roman siting on his bed, listening to what he could only guess where Disney song and oh so softly singing along.

Virgil was slightly amazed. It was so odd to see the flamboyant side being so calm and peaceful. Another odd fact however was that he had on sweatpants and and a dark grey crop top. Cute.

Before he could be amazed any further, Roman sniffed the air, probably smelling the pasta, and sat up. Nearly panicking, the purple side closed the door and knocked lightly.

“Just a minute!” Roman yelled from the other side of the door. Only now did Virgil notice that his ears where slightly red.

What the heck! Why are my ears so warm! He threw his hoodie over his head and silently panicked as too why he had thought cute when he saw Princy. It took longer than expected but eventually the Prince came out with a pair of loose jeans and a red t-shirt saying “royalty” it gold letters.

Why did he change? The anxious boy wondered in his head while looking up at the prince.

“Hey Ro, Pat said that dinner is ready” “Alright Virge, lets get going then!” Roma said with a smile.

The two walked to the kitchen together and saw that the table was already all set up and Logan was already in his seat, book still in hand.

“Hi guys! Grab a seat and get ready for some great chicken Alfredo!” Patton shouted form the kitchen as he was picking up a large dish off pasta.

The table was small and round, but it felt so comforting to Virgil, the entire light side of Thomases mind was, in his opinion, a lot better than the dark sides area. They had their own main room and kitchen there but it always smelt like something was burning and the lights were flickering no matter what any of the dark sides tried.

“I figured after the stressful day we all had that we deserved a nice meal to brighten the mood.” Patton said smiling and setting the pasta down. Roman’s smile looked a little more forced after that comment, but no one seemed to notice.

Every started to fill their plates with food, Patton’s plate seemed to have a small mountain on it. Virgil chuckled softly as Logan reminded everyone health facts throughout dinner and reminded them not to over eat.

However he smile turned into one of confusion as he saw Romans plate. I the amount must have only been a small handful of pasta and the side was mostly just pushing it around the plate with his fork. When he did take bites they were extremely small. The purple side found this a bit weird but just reasoned to himself that the royal must have had something to eat earlier on.

Dinner went well, Patton tried to make puns, accused Logan of making a few of his own and overall a nice family time. A bit surprisingly Roman offered to wash the dishes so that the others could talk a bit more, it wasn’t that Roman didn’t help out or anything, but he usually loved to tell the others about whatever project he was working on.

However, Virgil just had to start up a bit of banter with him, what could he say, it was their thing.

“The Prince is willing to lower his pride for us commoners?” He of course meant it as a joke, but he saw it. Princy stumbled, ever so slightly, when he heard the word pride. But being the actor he was, he quickly corrected himself and turned to the other with a smug face.

“What is a Prince if not chivalrous?” He retorted.

After everything was put away the sides dispersed to go to their own rooms. Well, except for Virgil, he always like to sit in the silence of the night for a few minutes. He sighed in content as the threw himself onto the couch and put his headphones back on, this time selecting Panic! at the Disco. Dying in LA started playing and Virgil started softly singing along. Sure, it was a supposed to be a sad song but he just found it so calming and soft compared to others.

He was so focused with his music that he didn’t notice the other side walking into the room, at least not until he heard a soft “Wow” from the walkway. He quickly looked up and saw Roman standing their with a form of wonder painted on his face. Virgil blushed from the embarrassment of getting caught.

Sure, he sometimes sang a bit in videos, but he always played it off as if he was kinda forced to sing along  with the others. So being caught red handed about the fact that he actually enjoyed seeing was a bit embarrassing.

Roman seemed to shake himself out of his head.

“That was, um, some lovely singing Virgil.” He said as he scratched the back of his neck and tried to seem less completely and utterly amazed by the others soft side. He tried to hide it as best as he could, but he did indeed have a light blush on his cheeks.

“Ha, thanks Princy, what are you doing up? Don’t princes need their beauty sleep or something?” Virgil said, trying to steer away form the previous topic. Roman was slightly caught of guard in his head, having completely forgotten what he came to get, but as always he didn’t let his thoughts reach his face.

“Just getting some water Hot Topic.” The Prince said with a smile. Virgil watched as Roman went to the kitchen and got the smallest glass of water possible that was filled to the top with ice. Well, that’s odd. The royal walked back over and the anxious side didn’t feel the need to shut off his questions this time, maybe with Roman tired he could get an actual answer.

“Hey Roman, are you doing ok? You seem a bit, off, today.” Virgil tried to phrase carefully, he didn’t want to offend the creative side, though with his ego he doubted he could do any real damage.

Roman looked back at him and seemed to be considering something in his head, finally sighing and putting a hand though his hair. “It’s just been a long and eventful day Virgil, I’ll be right as rain by morning.” He said back to his worried friend. In all honesty. Virge thought that wasn’t the full truth, but he had to agree, it had been a long day.

I mean, seeing Deciet again, having to skip something that could help Thomas’s carrier, and being accused of just overall being a bad person was a lot for anyone to have in one day. Plus with Roman having the final vote on the matter, that must not sit quite right with him, seeing as he is Thomas’s hopes and dreams.

“Yah, its been quite a day, guess we could all use a good nights sleep. Good night Princy.” Virgil said with a wave. Roman smiled and waved a he walked of towards his room, “good night emo.”

Virgil gave a sigh as he put his headphones back on, he hoped that Roman would be ok and get some sleep. Although he would never admit it he cared about the creative side quite a bit. He was exhausted so even though he was on the couch, he closed his eyes and quickly fell asleep still listening to his music.

An estimation and analysis of Yeonjun’s chart

-virgo sun, scorpio moon- [See this is why it took me so long to get his chart out- Personally i think that he also exhibits some libra moon sign traits too in the way he comforts those he cares about (ex; the time beomgyu cried and he was the first one to come and comfort him). okay so. virgo sun males? greedy in bed. same for libra sun males, but the thing is, virgo suns tend to be more apparent about it; they’re picky as shit too. with his sun in virgo and his moon in either scorpio or libra (for the sake of convenience let’s just agree that he’s a scorpio moon) he is most likeluy a fuckboy. But of course our yeonjun has moments where he is very flirtatious and loyal to MOA (just as a leo venus would) and truly does love them, so that kind of balance is something that he has to work out in his saturn return.

-sag mars, mars conjunct pluto, mars in the 10th house. FIrey sex, literally. Sagittarius is a fire sign and they just know how to take charge. ho god, his future partner is going to be so lucky. takes the lead, is spontaneous, overall just sexy. Quick first thoughts on the first ep of the Hypmic Anime. Spoilers beware (and im writing this as I watch so :p)

Otome’s speech is.... questionable from a persuasive point of view. Manga did a great job of introducing her (which you can read here) but they really cut out the more terrifying parts of her speech and how she uses force to show people that she's not to be messed with

Its cool seeing everyone in their respective environments though. thats cool. Though they could have added Sasara and Kuuko (shhh i know why they didn’t let me dream)

I love how poppy the typography is. Its amazing how the visuals just leap out at you. The OP does a great job of this. The first few seconds before the title really gives me Persona 4 OG OP vibes with the influx of information given. The rest is a clear concise and streamlined way that still gives character. Animation is sparse but still carries across a general idea of each character and shows off each character object. Rendering is really nice and pays a bit of homage to the posing artwork thats done for the MVs. They also do their division hand signals and thats cute

Love how the OP has blatant HifuDoppo and DRB matchup foreshadowing

so far I really like what theyre going for. BB is about brotherly familial bonds and they show the goods and the bads. Jiro and Saburo bickering right out the gate really cements the fact that they get along like cats and dogs but you can still see that they love each other, working together when the situation calls for it

Now the 3d models. Theyre... not great but usable if you don’t look too hard. They serve their purpose and don’t actively detract from the viewing experience.

Visual typography in the rap itself are fun and poppy but they dont.... speak to me? like theyre there yes and I appreciate them but the only ones that got me excited were from Ichiro’s rap

I love how they interpret the Hypnosis Speakers though. Esp. Saburo’s organs. That was super creative and I love it! If there was one thing that I felt was missing from the franchise was a deeper exploration of the speakers but the anime puts a new and fresh spin on it! Love it, especially with their attack patterns!

If the production team ever feels inclined to, Id love to see those info sheets on Otome’s desk released. There seems to be very interesting info and stats written out about each member (like capabilities, personal status etc.) They all seem unique too so I really really really hope they release images of those sheets

OOOOOOOOKAY MTC. I have such a big biased for them so Im very torn to see what unfolds

Rio striking out on his own is interesting. Out of everyone in MTC hes the biggest team player yet here he trusts his teammates to go ahead. This either displays Rio’s willingness to trust his teammates or it becomes very OOC if the anime wants to set him up as a lone wolf like character

I love how they specify its a drug deal. It means that Jyuto surely will show up and it also shows that Samatoki knows Jyuto’s motives and willingly gives black market info that he knows aligns with Jyuto’s goal. Thats A+ detail writing there and a great establishing characteristic for both of them

OOohhhhhhhhhhhhh man Asunama-san’s voice acting is god tier his work as Samatoki is phenomenal. He pulls of Samatoki’s threatening voice so well with those almost calm words before his voice becomes loud and confrontational. Those rolling syllables in contrast to Komada-san’s almost lyrical and airy speech and Kamio-san’s strict and enunciated words is such a delight to hear. It just speaks to how amazing and great these Seiyuu’s are in order to pull of such amazing work

Im so biased but MTC has such a better rap than BB im so sorry. Just by watching Samatoki’s part, the imagery is amazing. Even the arrival of his Hypnosis Speaker was awesome and sent a shiver down my spine. using the lyrics to form blades and blood was such a great thing to do. Theres so much more variety that just him standing there and shots of his hypnosis speaker. The old fashioned vignette shots, the four panel spread, the nods to old Kurosawa era films are great and I love these small details. Even the typography looks better.

Again, the interpretations with the speakers is fresh and new. Its great and I love the different imagery and attack patterns. Each one is so unique but carries across each different style of rap.

The 3d modles aren’t any better tho lol

(Hi this is Astro who is reading over their assessment again and making a note. Yeah I’m a bit harsh on BB’s rap. I’m not going to change it since I still stand by it and this post is supposed to be a documentation of my first impressions. I think one of the reasons why I’m so harsh on BB is because of their dynamic as a trio of brothers. They Have to have a more uniform approach than the other divisions. Which in of itself isn’t a terrible thing, it just doesn’t catch my eye as much as MTC did. Thats all! I definitely don’t hate BB, they’re maybe my 3rd favorite division out of the current lineup [not including TDD era teams like Kujaku Posse, MCD, and Naughty Busters] its just that their rap was pretty meh)

Samatoki crouching like a real gangstar and the cigarette kiss killed me

sadjkhfjkasdghsadjkcsdjhsdfsjhf im dying i love these trio of dumbasses so uch oh y fod someone save me aaaaaaaa (Astro note here! yeah i died when the jyuto and samatoki’s stomach growled im weak please. Samatoki’s face is just so precious and funny I might set it as a profile pic somewhere)

But also my initial assessment of Rio possibly being characterized as a lone wolf is very much jossed and im very thankful for that. It seems that Rio was simply trusting his teammates to carry out their part of the plan while he carried out his own. I like that, it really shows how much of a team these three are and that they genuinely trust each other. He’s also comfortable enough around them to invite them to dinners after work casually and not just for special occasions.

Oooh! we get Ramuda on his design process which is really cute. the inside of his studio is super cute and retro and i love it. the poppy old music you would hear in a cafe or 90′s resturaunt is also really cute (astro note: yeah i know that in ARB you see the interior of Ramuda’s office but its kinda different seeing it animated)

the translation i have has gentaro speaking in early modern english (Shakespearian english for those who aren’t english nerds like me) but from what I can hear, he doesn’t speak in a particularly old fashioned way? Its more formal than old? and hes speaking without any of his character persona lying thing that he likes to do (as he refers to himself as “Shousei” throughout the segment where hes in Ramuda’s office which is kind of his default pronoun of choice). so its kinda odd for the translation to go in that direction but im not complaining

Gendice banter is gold but it feels... flat? a little? it doesn’t have the same impact as in the drama cds or in the manga? i feel? Also Ramuda using gratuitous english is??? idk how to feel about that

kjshf thats against the rules Ramuda omgggg,,,,,,,, (astro note again: while watching i was under the assumption that using your hypmic for monetary gain such a as buskering [which is what FP is doing] is against the rules. May not be the case but whatever)

FP’s rap might be my favorite in terms of tune and lyrics though. It’s a nice laid back bop and really gives of chill vibes. the integration of 3d and 2d is really nice and i love how they play off each other in the rap. The wordplay is so fun with little nods here and there and the beat is poppy too so it really energizes me.

Ramuda’s rap concerns me slightly since he makes very subtle and small nods towards his past (being created in a laboratory, warfare, and his overall very unpleasant life experiences) but spins it into something cutesy. It could be a coping mechanism, it could be me overthinking it. But it does make me worry a bit. Gentaro and Dice’s rap really play off each other with Gentaro sticking to stories and Dice taking up the baton by carrying on that same imagery but putting his own spin on it.

the self awareness of how scattered they are as a team is interesting though. It doesn’t seem like something you’d speak about in a rap? but i guess since its not really a do or die situation they can afford to be looser on things like this.

Right off the bat, i don’t like how they handled Hifumi and Doppo in relation to Hifumi’s fear of women. Slug made a post once talking about this and I echo many of his sentiments. Hypmic has never been very tactful about tackling this particular issue and while I didn’t have high hopes that the anime would be any better it hurts to see Doppo take away the one thing that allows Hifumi to function within society.

Doppo’s breakdown mirrors a lot of my own mental state when I spiral though its shown a lot quicker than what happens to me oof. that hits close to home. though Jakurai’s advice is. Questionable. Its not the best advice to give to someone but we have no idea what kind of doctor Jakurai is so ill let it slide

I don’t have many thoughts about the rap though again. How they visualize the rap is interesting. the different imagery is quite interesting for each of them and the typography is nice a distinct but im still on the fence about the visuals here

The sound is in the same boat. The sound effects either drown out the rap or are too quet but some parts are nice at least. When they talk about Tokyo’s beating heart, the heartbeat sound is a but distracting especially since its only played once. But the imagery is at least nice

I wonder if for the eds they’re going to take a similar approach to what Enstars did and have a four different endings, one for each division. I love the blend of styles here and it really accentuates that although they’re different they mesh well together.

Ramuda’s silhouette though is hilarious. Love it.

:p and thats it. Uh not bad for a first episode. Established all 12 characters really nicely and their dynamics. I had some problems with it but then again nothing is perfect. I look forward to what they show us next week

Yesterday:

Worked on more face masks

Played some Mozart quite poorly but still had fun

Ordered bbq which was quiet a treat

Walked around the yard w my partner and looked at plants

Watched some reptile yt together

Worked on a new song thats mostly rhere

Today:

Lots of opportunity to do more creative stuff

Should prob try to write tonight

Might for real actually finish those lattices

The sky is blue but its a little overcast. I can see the crape myrtles blowing around so it must be breezy. I wonder if it will rain. I stayed up late last night and slept in a couple hrs this morning. I feel good about yesterday. What i want most is to rly take advantage of my time off, so im pleased at getting things done yesterday.

I saw a post saying that ppl shouldnt have to feel productive to have value, and while overall in general i agree, i also felt like it was worded in a shaming kind of way. I want to feel productive in ways that matter to me. For some ppl work matters to them. For others family is a priority. For me i want to do creative projects and yeah they take effort and i am most proud when i have results. I dont think thats bad, and i dont think that sentiment and desire are the only way im valuable. BUT when i dont have time/energy to do those things i get VERY depressed. If i lack enrichment it does make me feel worthless. Should it? No. Does it? Yes. And i just kind of felt op did not get that. Everything is about balance right?

Anyway here are my in progress face masks. Just gotta put on some elastic. The brown fabric was my grandma's so its prob from the 70s or 80s I'd guess. Other two i bought like ten yrs ago. Good use for fabric remnants! Also for anyone worried these might be too thin, they have a layer of vacuum bag liner in them!

who’s to say? i’m really proud of scott’s and my submission but i know we only won because of my advantage, so it’s not like this means i’ll win future challenges or anything.!

Scott: Some may argue that the first merge immunity is one of the most important. Do you agree? And why or why not?

I mean... no, lol. If anything I’d bet this is going to be the least important immunity win of the merge. Immunities get more and more valuable the closer you get to the end of the game, in my opinion.

Hunter: What’s the overall vibes around the tribe just in general?

John: Do you feel good at your position in the tribe?

tbh? idk what my position in the tribe is. i don’t feel like i’m in a bad spot but i don’t feel like i’m in a great one either. i’m just like...here

Ark: You got the lowest overall score in the entire challenge. How do you think this is perceived by your tribe mates?

You've asked me the exact same question before, and i'll tell you the same answer. I don't know. I think i did fine, since my partner was unable to assist and i don't have any other medium i can use in 48 hours, but the score doesn't tell everything. Yeah, my submission got the lowest score, but people found the jokes funny anyway. that's pretty much what i was going for since i knew my submission wouldn't score high.

Isaac: Social bonds are a key factor in any Survivor game, especially making the right ones. Do you believe you have made the right ones?

Jackie: Do you believe you know what’s going to happen tonight?

I thought I did, but now that you've asked this I'm getting paranoid

Austin: Alliances are a big factor in this game. You can never be sure how many there are. Do you sense any important alliances forming?

To answer the question for me.  I feel they could def be alliances forming we just got merged and alot of ppl have preexisting relationships. But I really have no idea.

Colin: Without disadvantages or advantages, you got the highest overall score in the entire challenge. How do you think this is perceived by your tribe mates?

I don't think my tribemates should feel threatened, if that's what you're asking. In creativity challenges, judges reward effort. Even despite the huge amount of effort we put into our submission, earning a near perfect score, we still got crushed because of advantages. It's a bit frustrating honestly, and if anything, I think it shows the tribe that challenge competence shouldn't be a factor in this game when it comes to voting. This isn't the first time someone has won a challenge solely because of advantages/disadvantages.

Tim: As Colin mentioned in the tribe chat, you and him lost because of an advantage. How does this make you feel?

losing because of an advantage sucks but thats just how survivor works sometimes. Maybe there’s too many advantages to obtain. Maybe we are all just lucky.

    When Carl had gotten into his accident, a lot of things in his life had forcibly changed.

He couldn’t walk anymore (which was the major factor for these changes), he needed to take medicine to stop the pain that the doctors said would never go away (but might lessen with time and physiotherapy), had to quit some of his favorite hobbies (He couldn’t go skiing, swimming or sky-diving anymore) and, on top of the physical limitations that he had to get used to, Carl had lost all motivation to do anything.

He couldn’t bring himself to get out of bed most mornings, much less pick up a brush to take to a canvas.

His own home became a prison, the long curving stairwell a deathtrap for a handicapped man in a wheelchair. The members of the artistic community that he’d considered his peers had practically abandoned him and gone on to lick the boots of the next greatest deal, his relationships had shriveled away due to his terrible moods, and he’d lost himself to booze and cheap drug highs more times than he’d eaten in those first weeks of recovery and adjustment to his plight…

Carl was a mess, a depressed, bitter and angry unadjusted mess, and he practically exiled himself in his own home, resigned to wasting away alone and wallowing in his own misery.

It had felt like everything that made him who he was, had died with his ability to walk…

But of course, while the world was ready to give up on an a bitter old cripple, Elijah Kamski had believed Carl could get himself back together.

And, in believing so, he’d gone and done something truly insane to help push him towards the road of recovery.

    Carl thought of Elijah as a very clever and ambitious young man. A crafty boy that was as cunning as they came, with a reputation for the dramatics that added a bit of flair to his eccentric personality.

Where others saw an excellent inventor with a few bizarre behaviours, Carl saw a well-meaning boy who went all out in his many personal plans and schemes. Someone who gave you half the puzzle so you could figure it out yourself, but who’d jump at the opportunity to give an answer to a friend if he trusted them enough. He was odd, a bit pretentious at times, but not as impossible to figure out as many people thought.

He’d left his own company around the same time of Carl’s accident, for various other reasons he assured, albeit also intending to take the time off to think on the incident itself and in what way he could help a dear friend in need.

The overall plan, however, was to isolate himself and think over a few things that had concerned him quite a bit over work ethic and corporational corruption.

Carl knew from a previous conversation that Elijah had taken with him the fruits of an ongoing and still fairly green project, intending to finish it himself rather than let the board of directors play around with such a delicate schematic.

He’d never asked Elijah what he’d do with it if he ever did finish it, but then again he should have expected the boy to reworked it into his grand scheme of “fixing his father-figure”.

Elijah was nowhere close to performing miracles yet, but Carl was sure he’d been trying fairly hard with something of the sort before settling in his final idea. Chloe had already come close enough to the boy playing god, and Carl was sure that, while the field of medicine could benefit from his younger friend’s work and ingenuity, he himself didn’t like the idea of having his legs chopped off and replaced with mechanical parts.

Prosthetics wouldn’t fix his ruined spine, wouldn’t make the pain and trauma go away, and he’d rather die than be a guinea pig to some scalpel-happy medical students.

Elijah knew this, so he did something else. Something bolder and very much batshit insane.

He was clever about it as well. He’d hid his real intentions behind simple visits, where he measured Carl’s chair multiple times, fixed issues he had with some of its mobility, installed railings and an assortment of contraptions to aid him around the house, and then finally brought him a robotic arm to serve as a moving platform to help with his larger paintings. All presents that Carl had frowned at and ignored besides the damn elevator and the wheelchair upgrade, since he needed those to get around the house.

And then, after several of these visits where he just observed and offered idle conversation, one day Elijah showed up with Chloe and his real present.

That was a day Carl would never forget…

Hard to, when a close friend of yours brought over a 50 foot tall android to serve as a household assistant.

    It hadn’t been a particularly good day to begin with. His doctors had tried to send him another nurse who’d just gotten in the way.

She’d woken him up abruptly, insisted for him to eat despite him feeling nauseous from spending the night in a drunken stupor, hadn’t let him even watch the news in peace without blabbering on about how he’d organized his home or about his medication schedules.

And then of course, when she pointed out the taxidermied giraffe and commented on how “middle-ages” it was to have a dead animal decorating one’s house, he’d snapped.

The night before he’d had an argument over the phone with Adelaide, Leo’s mother.

They’d argued over him shutting them out after the accident, when he’d finally taken the steps to get to know his son.

Carl wasn’t proud of what he’d said, but he recalled laughing bitterly and saying an invalid man who can’t walk anymore, can’t really take any steps by himself.

She’d been furious at his self-deprecation. And then she’d exploded when he’d implied the situation was their fault to begin with.

Because, “had he not gone on the trip to begin with, he wouldn’t have ever gotten into the damn accident”.

Carl had been too drunk to think straight, spoke some things he really shouldn’t have, and in the end Adelaide had gotten fed up with him and hung up. He had a feeling she’d resent him for this major fuck up on his part.

The argument had left him in a sour mood, and the nurse criticizing his home and the things he’d been gifted with by friends?

It had struck a nerve and he’d become standoffish and defensive.

She’d stormed out after he’d told her off with some choice words, and then told her to tell his doctors to shove their stethoscopes so far up their own asses that they might actually hear their own stupidity.

It would have been funny really, if he hadn’t wanted a cup of tea afterwards to calm his fraying nerves.

That’s when Elijah decided to show up, in the middle of Carl cursing his stove for being too tall for him to properly use now that he couldn’t stand.

    As upset as he was with his own handicap, Carl wasn’t one to give in very easily when he actually wanted something as mundane as a cup of hot tea. Earl grey, with a few almond cookies on the side to please his sweet tooth.

At the time, had he wanted to draw or paint or even play the piano as much as he’d wanted a hot beverage, he would have likely gotten it done much earlier without ever needing any help to begin with.

Considering the spell he’d put himself in however, how fervently he believed he was useless, Carl had made himself into exactly what he thought he was when it came to procuring inspiration, thus indulging in his interests was out of the picture for some time.

But that had all been forgotten while he tried to find a way around the stove’s height.

Kettle in one hand, his chin on the other, the artist considered his options.

And then the ground began to shake.

He didn’t notice at first, too engrossed with his dilemma, until the water in the kettle began to shift and slosh out onto the floor with a resounding splatter, and the wheels of his chair began to shudder against the breaks.

The shakes were rhythmic in nature, followed by thuds that were becoming as loud as thunder just as the intensity of the quaking began to make things rattle off the shelves.

Carl had gripped the chair’s armrests tightly as he looked around the kitchen, wincing as fine china slipped out of place and shattered on the floor. As the windows rattled violently against their frames, he wondered how any of this was possible, as never once had he suffered through an earthquake in this area of Michigan.

And then of course, the intense quakes came to a halt just as a deafening screech of metal met his ears.

The artist yelled in alarm as he peered out the window and saw something absolutely gargantuan crush the tall metal fencing in his yard. Had he just witnessed a goddamn meteor crash?!

    Of course,being the overly-curious man that he was, Carl’s immediate reaction was not to call the authorities, but to leave the kitchen to investigate.

The old artist made his way outside by wheeling himself through the larger sliding-glass door, making use of the ramp that Elijah had helped set up in one of his many visits. He then carefully and clumsily maneuvered himself around the side of his home, trying to pick up speed while also trying not to knock himself out of balance in the process (he was still not very good at using it after all), and was quickly met by a dark shadow that was definitely not supposed to be there at noon. Whatever was currently in his property, was positively and tremendously big, enough so that it cast such an impressive shadow over the mansion.

What he wasn’t counting on seeing was that, what appeared to have obliterated his fence and part of his garden, was a pair of gigantic shoes…

Inside them, Carl assumed, were an equally gigantic pair of feet, connected to gigantic legs, that were connected to a gigantic torso, which itself had a pair of gigantic arms connected to them, as well as a gigantic head.

Did he mention how gigantic all of it was? Or how his body was instinctively trembling and screaming at him to seek shelter, as two large green eyes peered down at his own two widened blue eyes. He couldn’t quite discern any other facial features, as the rest were obscured by shade, but he could see a blazing yellow circle where he assumed the giant’s right temple might be.

There was a colossal android in his backyard. Carl was pretty sure this was a sign that he was probably going to die, until he heard two familiar voices up in the distance.

 “Elijah…It appears the RK200 has effectively destroyed Mr. Manfred’s security system…” the soothing tone of the RT600, Elijah’s darling Chloe, stated calmly as she peered down from the shoulders of the giant she’d apparently hitched a ride on.

 “I’m well aware Chloe.” Elijah Kamski, who stood on the other shoulder of the massive android, poked his head over to look down at the mess. “This wasn’t how I wanted to surprise Carl… My fault really, for letting our baby boy take his first steps out in the wild…”

 “A flair for the dramatics may be your own undoing one day…” Chloe tutted disapprovingly before reaching up to the the giant, patting it under the chin. “Poor thing, this has been a positively mortifying experience for him…”

Carl stared up and up at the trio of “guests”, completely at a loss for words purely due to disbelief because, again, there was a GIANT android in his yard.

His fence had been obliterated, trampled by said android, and Elijah Kamski was behind it.

There was only one thing to do in such a situation.

 “ELIJAH KAMSKI, YOU COME DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW YOUNG MAN AND EXPLAIN TO ME WHY THERE IS A BUILDING SIZED ANDROID RUINING MY BEGONIAS!”

 “Busted…Fuck me, this has not gone according to plan” The inventor fumbled with his glasses and tried to hide under the collar of the colossus’s shirt to no avail. His fate as target for one of Carl’s lectures was set.

 “I warned you he might have appreciated his gift coming in a box.” Chloe grinned at him, before waving in greeting at Carl. She didn’t seem too bothered with this outcome.

 “You’re not helping Chloe…” the man sighed miserably as he stared down at the angry artist.

    It ended with the colossal artificial being kneeling on the dirt (an action which made the ground shakes violently because of how huge it was) and then Chloe preparing tea for Carl and Elijah, which the two drank while conversing quietly. They occasionally peered upwards at Elijah’s newest creation.

With its face no longer obscured by the shadow it cast, Carl could finally see it’s features more clearly.

The android, despite it’s terrifying size, was not at all very imposing in appearance. If anything,it looked almost soft and approachable. Friendly even, if not for the limited amount of expressions on its face.

Tanned freckled skin, soft green eyes, hair shaved short, and a sort of inquisitive look to it’s posture which was apparently it’s most basic model of being. Curious about everything and their conversation.

The uniform was pristinely clean, although he noted the shoes had already acquired a layer of dirt and grime from it’s failed “field testing”.

It was sitting there (which of course destroyed another portion of Carl’s fence and garden considering how massive it’s proportions were, and how much it weighed), but otherwise did nothing else but look at them with those soft green eyes. Waiting for it’s orders. It was…Kind of endearing, if not for the fact it destroyed part of his property.

 “Explain to me, why you felt the necessity to bring with you and Chloe such a…” he paused to stare at the android. It cocked it’s head to the side as it listened, blinking its two massive eyes as it focused on him. Each eyelash was probably the same length as Carl’s arms. “…Unique model, while visiting my decidedly not so Kaiju-friendly house…”

 “The term you’re looking for is fun sized, and the RK200 is hardly a Kaiju. Jaeger would be a much more fitting term considering his nature and overall shape.” Elijah smiled as he took a sip of his tea. “And I thought it appropriate to let him test his legs before reaching his destined household. I didn’t account for how clumsy his baby steps would be, however…I should have expected he’d need time to calibrate his movements.”

 “It’s a domestic android?” Carl raised an eyebrow and snorted at the thought “Boy, in what world does something that big fit inside someone’s house?”

 “You’ll find I made the necessary changes to your house for him to fit nice and snug like a bug in a mug, as long as he sits still, which he’s a master at when he’s not bored.”

 “You did what now…?”

 “Of course a 50 foot android will get bored easily. The RK200 is very sophisticated and inquisitive.” The inventor carried on “He adapts as he learns, and as such I’d advise constant interaction with him to ensure the best results…”

 “Elijah what did you do to my house?”

 “That’s not to say he’s clueless of course! You’ll find the RK200 can maintain a perfectly good conversation although, due to his size, verbal communication is not advised, as previous testing noted that his vocal range has a proficiency for shattering glass and porcelain. You’ll have to learn ASL.”

 “Elijah!”

 “Carl it’s all fine. Here, see?” He turned to the gargantuan prototype overseeing them “RK200, initiate Home Program.”

The green eyed android blinked twice, LED momentarily shifting from blue to yellow as it processed the command, and then the side wall behind Carl opened up like a garage door. On closer inspection, it seemed the two floors shifted upwards as well, to accommodate for the android’s tremendous size.

Carl’s jaw dropped as he watched this happen, before he turned to look back at his friend in absolute disbelief.

 “When did you get this done? Any of this?!”

 “I could tell you, but it would warrant a restraining order.”

 “Elijah I swear to God…”

 “Carl please? He will take care of you, and god only knows you could use the company.” Elijah gave the empty tea cup to Chloe, who opted to silently watch the argument unfold while she idly stood besides the prototype “You’ve been living the hermit-chique life without the chique part. You look a mess 24/7, hardly talk to me unless I physically stand besides you, and your habits are not in the slightest healthy.”

 “Since when have you become my mother? I’m an old man Elijah, not a child! I won’t live off someone else’s pity!” Carl snapped.

 “If you’re not a child, stop acting like one!” Kamski yelled loudly, his patience running thin. “I’m worried! You’re my friend and you’ve gone through a traumatizing event! Not only that but you just became single again after seven years in a relationship and need stability and support! The RK200 will give you all of that, no questions asked!”

 “How will it do anything at that size?!” Carl pointed at the android that towered over them eerily silent. It just watched, just as Chloe did, but it’s inquisitive expression had changed to a small frown, as if it were trying to understand a complicated problem.

 “You think I wouldn’t find ways around the size of my creations? Carl, you know better than that.” The brunet shook his head, arms crossed and glasses perched on his nose.

 “Yes, because “obviously” I can imagine those hands, which are as large as a fully grown man, grasping the fragile china that is currently shattered on the kitchen floor, without completely pulverizing it into fine dust…” Carl grimaced, glaring daggers at his friend before looking at the RK200. It was still frowning, but had directed it’s attention to its creator.

 “I have everything sorted out Carl. What do you take me for?” Kamski looked up at the android and smiled “RK200, show Carl your household features.”

The Android in question gave a polite nod before looking at Carl and raising both hands so that they were held up with the palms facing the artist. Carl wondered what it would do, before his eyes widened as large as saucers as the skin of the arms deactivated, revealing intricate paneling and seams. These panels opened up, splitting the arms and hands into various parts, before several cables spilled out from within. The great majority of said cables was tipped with what appeared to be regular sized hands, while others were tipped by lenses.

There were hands and “eyes” inside its actual hands.

 “….Elijah that is the freakiest most scariest thing I have ever seen in my entire life…”

 “There’s more.”

 “Oh god…”

The RK200 quietly closed up its arms after retracting the hidden limbs back inside of their proper compartments, and then pulled it’s uniform shirt up. The skin of the stomach area deactivated and then a massive storage unit popped open. From inside it, popped out two drones and a regular sized android of identical appearance to the RK200.

 “The drones are for delivery and retrieval, the extra android is a remote controlled escort for you whenever you need fresh air. The three are completely linked to the RK200s mind, effectively they are him.” Elijah explained as one of the drones flew around the artist and inventor, while the remote controlled android bowed calmly. “He can actually speak through this body, so while I encourage you brush up on ASL, you can always keep a nice conversation with him out on a public stroll.”

 “Elijah…Just how many concepts were you toying with before you decided to give me this…Mishmash of purposes?” Carl felt like he was in the twilight zone at this point. This was the most sci-fi-ish android he’d ever seen, and Cyberlife had chugged out a LOT of strange models.

 “A few. The most impressive is his programming actually…The code is adaptive and changes depending on stimuli.” Elijah smiled as he watched the RK200 collect it’s extensions. “He’s a little like Chloe, but…But more. And I’ll admit, picking you is selfish, but you’re the one person I’d trust to teach our boy to be something more than just a collection of ideas.”

 “You want a depressed man who hasn’t been out in weeks, to teach a giant android to be a good person?”

 “Pretty much.”

 “This could end badly, you know…” Carl looked once more to the Android, startling when he noticed it had laid down on its stomach and was now mere inches away from him, face practically right on top of Carl’s sitting body. It had an odd expression on its face, but it didn’t look inherently malicious so Carl quickly forced his pulse to calm.

 “It won’t. You’re not gone Carl, as much as you’d like to be considering your state…You’re a clever man, with a lot to teach someone.” Elijah insisted. “You’ll make a fine young man out of our dear baby RK200.”

 “I agree sir.” Chloe smiled as she approached, making sure to pat the colossus on the face in passing. “You’ve been nothing but kind to Elijah and myself. Your wisdom and kindness will be invaluable for RK200’s development. He will also benefit you, in being quite the delightful companion.”

 “…Well…I guess I better look up ASL…”

 “Is that a yes?” Elijah grinned triumphantly.

 “I’m afraid so.”

 “Excellent! I’ll give you the basic rundown here…Starting with supplies, no need to worry he doesn’t run entirely on thirium, that’d be incredibly difficult to sustain. Although I will send you shipments monthly since he does need it to self-heal. Which brings us to the next topic! Self-healing! If he gets badly roughed up somehow, just give him thirium and scrap metal! Biocomponents will do if you have them on hand. His body does the rest!” Elijah chittered excitedly while Carl went back to observing the android he’d been saddled with. It was still watching him, and only him, intently.

Most of Elijah’s technobabble went unheard as Carl watched the giant extend a finger in his direction, before carefully reaching out.

Said finger opened up, a few retractable limbs and cameras (again, creepy as fuck!) coming out and inspecting the wheelchair, before one hand tentatively offered for a handshake.

Carl took it and was surprised at how real the synthetic skin felt.

 “Hello there…” Carl found himself smiling as the android shyly looked away for the briefest of seconds, like a young child meeting a family friend for the first time, before looking back at him and quirking the corners of its mouth upwards. It lifted it’s other hand up and greeted slowly with it’s fingers.

The gentleness of this gigantic being was sticking.

Carl decided in the end that this might not be too bad after all.

    A few years later, in 2038, Carl found himself smiling as two familiar drones flew into his room and nestled themselves against his sides all the while purring that strange mechanical purr of theirs (which he’d long since associated with Markus’s good moods), while he watched a revolution unfold on the news.

His boy had come a long way since the first time he’d stepped foot in his property.

Despite his tremendous size and incomparable strength, Markus had not once taken a violent approach at any given chance.

His kind was met with anger and fear, yet the 50 foot android had done everything in his powers to be a benevolent and fair leader to both saptient species.

The remote body appeared for every public event, giving him no advantage over the situations, while his true body remained hidden away up until now…

He revealed himself out of necessity, the remote body destroyed during the attack on the barricade, with that horrid Perkins demanding his presence as soon as he realized Markus wasn’t dead.

And he’d complied to the wishes of a man who thought he’d been the cat that caught the canary. That grin fell off his face as soon as the 50 foot leader of the Android Revolution had squeezed through buildings, careful not to step on anything, avoiding the routes which had civilians and military alike to avoid casualties.

The world watched as a literal giant showed mercy and compassion, where humanity showed senseless cruelty, and Carl couldn’t be prouder.

He’d raised the boy well.

Elijah and Chloe had made the right choice in leaving him with Carl.

And the artist had to admit…For a 50 foot colossus, Markus was nothing if not a gentle caring young man, and he’d been entirely lucky to have him.

Bless Elijah Kamski’s eccentric ideas…But damn if the man still didn’t owe him a garden full of begonias.

....at the same time though i do get very sensitive when faced w/ criticism even if its of the fair variety when its not phrased really gently for various reasons and i dont like that. especially since I have a tendency to not even talk to people about it. I’ll just immediately start distancing myself. also other than that i think overall I have a really high tolerance lvl but if you cross that line I hold a grudge like a motherfucker

cats! dogs are good too but cats are a lot easier for me to handle...and quieter generally but even when they’re loud cat sounds dont get to me quite as much as barks do

yep! i think about....six or so? i love them...which is really funny im autistic and EVERYTHING about them should freak me out and they do in other circumstances but at a show i just live for it

probably that you have to look at your accomplishments differently when you’re disabled or just struggling, to not be so down on yourself because its a fact that what might be a mole hill to someone else is a mountain to you and you have to judge yourself accordingly. Like maybe you weren’t able to clean the whole house, but washing the dishes and tidying your desk doesn’t usually get done but you did it. That that should be celebrated because while it would also feel good if you did more, you still did something and thats great all things considered.

sometimes, really depends what im lying about and if im like....into it at all. If my guts against it for whatever reason I’ll have trouble

As a Japanese American, I always get irritated or pissed off at seeing cosplayers at Sakura Matsuri or Obon and it's even more frustrating when the internet ones who are told that it makes some of us uncomfortable try to brush off their actions as not being harmful. What are your thoughts on this?

sorry if this is super douuuper late. i rarely ever tumblr. part of me rages at that tirelessly and feels like spirit is just sad and like “wtF” to people treating our culture like it’s disneyland or something. thanks for sharing your expression, i wish there were more accepted visibility of anger within JA community overall. there is something to process there that i believe is stuck, but, that is a total other issue. i often feel out of place when expressing anger about this with JA ppl in my life who are quick to deny racism exists or say it’s harmless people are there, or even that anger doesn’t have a place in healing (uhhhh..) so thank you. feelings real. sansei and nisei i’ve talked with about my feelings around this are quick to dismiss and i wonder how our traumas maybe shape the way generations do or dont find these behaviors cool or not.  what might look or feel like inclusion in cultural exchange, or just interest in japanese culture, to one person who grew up being hated for being japanese, might look or feel like fetishization to those of us whose generational experience is more like “lalala camp wasn’t so bad was it? oooooh i love sushi and pikachu!”  / an other part of me can see how ppl who maybe have good intentions are just Not Aware of how yes anime and cosplay culture are cool aspects of a creative phenomenon but, it’s monetized culture and that’s different from our spiritual and cultural connections we were IMPRISONED for being. basically our bodies / minds / spirits aren’t flavors or fantasy wonderlands. when i was little, and people would tell me “oh! you don’t look japanese!” since im mixed , i always felt like i belonged less... and thats made it harder for me to accept and process feeling angry... like im not allowed to be angry bc i have to convince others i exist first lol. so when people are like “maybe ill just dress up in geta and kimono for this anime costume cosplay and go to this cultural event where people know what the word geta means, and have zero feelings of inadequacy or complication bc it’s a fun costume :) “ i feel feelings. my impostor syndrome is turned all the way up often so i feel aware that my strong feelings are related to that - but it doesn’t invalidate the feelings. that said, i do really like cosplay and wish people would devote more energy to making cosplay spaces more spot lighted on cultural respect, SOCIAL JUSTICE, deep inter cultural analysis through creative play, sharing and diversity, scififuture shit and DIY superpowers for cheap. it’s cool to see poc communities forming within creative subcultures. it feels different when poc cosplay and cultural exchange than when white folks do but, i wish no one would ever think of Matsuri or Obon as a costume play time

Archive Project - March 12, 2014 - Mr. Peobody and Sherman Review

For the past couple of Animated Features i've seen in theaters there has been a trailer for this "thing" called Box Trolls. This movie is apparently being made by the production house behind Coraline and ParaNorman. That fact alone, more than the trailer itself, makes me want to go see this movie. Whoever these "Laika" people are they are insanely talented with stop-motion animated. The insane level of detail that goes into their movies is terrifying to comprehend. So with that in mind, the philosophy for trying to sell this movie to audiences was to apparently show the movie's production… instead of the plot or characters. They just released a second trailer for this too… and this one also doesn't tell us anything about the box or characters. It works almost as a before and after shot. All the cool things they bragged about in the last trailer are shown in full force and it LOOKS good. It strikes me that there is a lack of confidence that people would be interested in the story they have to tell given how odd it looks. This assumption wouldn't be too out there as ParaNorman didn't actually do well when it was released, sadly. Maybe i'm wrong, heck I want to go see the movie cause I know it's full of a lot of talent. Director Rob Minkoff, famed for his masterpiece The Lion King, decides he wants to do a passion project for one of his inspirational childhood cartoons. He manages to get the rights, the funding and does it. The result is an updated version of Peabody's Improbable History, titled Mr. Peabody and Sherman. I will give this movie credit where it was due. I went into the movie expecting it to be bad. The trailers didn't impress me at all and I wasn't excited to see one of the cartoons I loved as a child repurposed into disposable children's entertainment. Upon seeing it I can now say this: Mr. Peabody and Sherman was not as bad as I was assuming it was going to be. It however isn't a great, lasting or even very memorable film though. Its just really dull and inconsistent. One of my biggest fears going into the film was that the characters were going to get butchered and made stupid. Mr. Peabody sounded ultimately dumb as a character in the way he was described and Sherman looked like an idiot, hyper active kid with ADHD and voiced by a terrible child actor. Surprisingly  most of those things never FULLY came into fruition. I mean you can definitely tell Sherman is played by a kid who has never voice acted before but the things that would have bothered me weren't sharp enough to bother me. The opening scenes of the film play out as a… oddly morbid and dark, but clear homage to the original episode of Peabody's Improbable History with a lot of the same story beats being reenacted into horrible 3rd dimensional animation (i'll get back to that..). Even some of the cinematography is meant to evoke the original show which is facisnating to behold. This strikes me as a reassuring pat on the back to fans that the people behind this did their homework and care enough to try to make this for fans, by fans. Which I would appreciate, if I considered this film to be anything special Something that really bothers me though is the way the story plays out. There are a lot of plot threads that pop up that don't make any sense in the context of the movie. For example, it's implied throughout the movie that Peabody and Sherman as going through effectively, daddy issues given that Peabody can't admit he loves his Sherman and such. But that defeats the entire purpose of why Peabody adopted Sherman in the first place; he did it so that he could give Sherman the love and support he never got as a child. From the way they interact in the first scenes and throughout the movie, its clear that they have a healthy relationship with each other. Peabody takes care of Sherman, provides him with everything he can and teaches him everything he can. What is the point of sticking daddy issues into the mix? Especially when another story plot deals with Peabody having to prove to the government that he is a good father figure, which by rights he already appears to be. The ONLY evidence that Peabody might be a bad father is that Sherman bits a kid a school for picking on him which is implied to be somewhat justified…? It just feels like outside of the main story involving time travel, all of the treads are messy and inconsistent. Also they try to evoke parallels Doctor Who by making the WABAC perform and evoke visual similarities to a TARDIS… Who wants to be original with time travel when they could just invoke pop culture imagery more for less effort? Also the logic behind the time travel doesn't make any sense.. It didn't in the original show either but that was part of the joke.   I must also complain about he sound design in this. It was horrible… Theres a scene early on in which Peabody and Sherman are riding on top of a wave down a sewer and the sound effects, other than being much quieter than they should have been, sounded like they were panning wave sounds up and down. It sounded cheap and didn't evoke what should have been the appropriate sounds for this scene. Overall, three works really strike me about this movie. Those words are: "Missing The Point". Peabody's Improbable History was a fun show, not because it was well animated or slick, but because it was well written. The people who made this show had limited time and money to make these cartoons and couldn't afford the same animation houses that made classics like Tom and Jerry or Looney Tunes. They had to compensate for that by making the writing pick up the slack for everything else. It had to be fun and witty and it succeeded in doing so. Peabody's Improbable History was intelligent and was meant to teach kids about history in silly ways. Mr. Peabody and Sherman doesn't teach kids very much, other than a historically inaccurate retelling to the French Revolution. This movie has it way too easy. With the ease of computers nowadays entire animated movies can be made quickly and cheaply. Thats why so many 3D animated movies are awful nowadays. 2D animations and shop motion ones take a lot more work and have a different feel to them. It feels like with those that there are people working on them. When you get a modern 3D animated movie in the hands of people who aren't creative or innovative enough to make something interesting with it like Pixar, Dreamworks or Disney are then the end result is garbage like Ice Age 4 and The Nut Job… I would have at least preferred this movie if the people behind it made it 2D to be more respectful to the source material. Heck, Rob Minkoff made the best 2D animated movie of all time! He could have made something great! Thankfully, Peabody's Improbable History isn't some great thing that needed to be preserved creatively. It wasn't something great like RoboCop or Total Recall that didn't need a reboot. I'd be all for it if Cartoon Network or Nick managed to secure the rights to reboot the Rocky and Bullwinkle show in a new format if the right people were behind it. This movie didn't ruin anything by being dull. Considering some of the other horrible movies based on the Rock and Bullwinkle show that have been released like Rock and Bullwinkle… Dudley Do Right.. and Boris and Natasha… I think I can forgive this film for a lot!   My Recommendation: The original episodes are Peabody's Improbable History are still floating around Youtube nowadays. The original 5 minute episode tells the exact same story as the movie. No I don't support internet Piracy, so I wouldn't recommend that you check out the original 5 Minute episode on youtube which can be found in the link below. I would not recommend you click that link and watch it instead of paying to see the movie in theaters. An emotional vent

Hello, you probably have no idea who I am, and the impact you’ve had on my life. You’re a sophomore in a sunny college, learning wonderful things. If I remember correctly, you wanted to go into film… or maybe writing. As I write this, i’m fighting off the urge to look it up. I might later. I have liked you for 3 years. And you have been away at college for 2 of those years. You’ve had relationships, long nights, essays, birthdays and a million little experiences, and not for one second did you think of me. And that’s ok. We never had a conversation, at best we said perhaps ten, fifteen words to each other. For a long time I tried to stop liking you, tried to stomp out the embarrassing feelings that made me feel like a crazy person. I felt stupid, after all my feelings about you weren’t based upon some interaction with you. But after some reflection, I realize why I cant get you out of my mind. So, I am going to attempt to solidify the feelings and thoughts into being, and maybe feel less guilty about my feelings for you. And to do that, let me explain in chronological order how I came to know you.

My first memory of you is at our school homecoming dance assembly. Every year, we had a homecoming theme, and the grades would compete during the assembly in song and dance numbers based around that years theme. I was a freshman, and the theme was ‘Lion King’. In the years since, it’s never been as good, mostly because no one showed as much passion as those in the grades above mine. You were in one of these lip-sync dances as Scar in “Be Prepared”. I thought you were so handsome, which is unusual for me to be so taken with someone’s aesthetic appeal (being an asexual person and all). I cant remember any of the other performances, but I remember feeling so happy to be apart of what would eventually become a faded lackluster event. 

Soon after that, I joined our schools reading club. I didnt know you were in it, and I hadnt put 2 and 2 together. You were just another face in a crowded room. The day I realized who you were was nearing the end of the school year. We were playing musical chairs, and I had a game plan. My idea was to choose a chair at random in advance and when the music stopped I would throw myself at it so fast that I would get it. That plan worked pretty well up until I slammed into you, who was apparently going for the same plastic folding chair. I was so embarrassed and apologized immediately, not recognizing you at first. You laughed and said something to the effect of ‘no worries’. Then in the next round we collided yet again, and when you made a joke about my really wanting to get to that chair I finally looked long enough at you to know where I knew you from.

Cut to 2 years later. Im a junior, and taking classes at the college in a program called running start. I was incredibly depressed. I was emotionally numb, my thoughts felt caustic and I felt as if the only way to slow my eventual failing was to throw myself into being a perfect student. It was that year that I was in a creative writing course with Mrs.B. I was so scared it would be another grueling class, but minutes into the first class  I knew it wasn't like that at all. Mrs.B was amazing ( and still is ) and the people in it were too. That was the only class we shared. At first, I thought I was drawn to you because I wanted to be your friend. That happened to me often, especially in that class as the people there were so funny and open minded. I remember one day, where during a break you sat at my table across from me to talk to your friends. I was reading a book, and found I had a hard time not looking at you. I know you noticed and in a panic, I looked back down at my book, moving my eyes as if I was reading. I couldnt focus on the words when you looked at me confused, luckily for me you turned and rejoined talking to your friends. I was so confused, why was I so drawn to you? I have a million other memories of that class, memories of you joking, making people laugh, and just being an overall wonderful human being. And when you graduated and left a week before the rest of us juniors, there was a notable shift in the classes dynamic. Not just because of your absence, but all those other nutty wonderful seniors who brought the same light and joy that you did. 

That year was so difficult for me, for a myriad of reasons I wont get into, as it could fill a book. But what I will say is this: that class gave me hope. It still does. I think that’s why I like you to this day. You were a part of something so wonderful, so important to me that I will never forget you or that class. It wasn't just you, it was Mrs.B, it was the other seniors, the Taylor Lautner cardboard cutout with the third eye post it note on it, the personal book collection that we could borrow from, the four corners games, the Halloween ghost stories. That class was magical. Those hours I spent in there were the few times in that year that I felt genuine happiness, where my thoughts didnt hurt, and I saw that people could be kind. You were apart of that, you helped create the environment that was so special, so needed. I didnt have a lot of hope, I felt so pathetic, weak, and unwanted. I spend a lot of time wishing I would have talked to you, introduced myself. Maybe we could have been friends. But that year, my self esteem was so low, I thought that no one would really want to be friends with someone so hollow. So I looked from afar and listened. I saw how kind, gentle, funny, and loving you were. You carried a light with you, and you made everyone around you feel better. I could see it from a million miles away. Your laughter was infectious, and you inspired everyone who saw you. I might not know much about you, but in that year I saw the ripples of your actions affected those around you, and saw the joy and goodness that came from them. I know that my crush on you is perhaps just based upon an idea of who you are or were. But I don't think thats completely true. I actively looked for flaws in you, something to ground me, and found little. Maybe I like an idea of you, but it is an idea founded upon the fundamental truth that you helped those around you, and actively tried to be a good person. I will never forget you or that class, because I still need to see that people can be good, that they can change for the better. I don't think I can shake this crush. Because you were the first boy, man, what have you, that I didnt see danger in. Because you were helped create a space that felt warm and safe when my whole world was cold and dark. I honestly don't want to look to find flaws anymore. I don't want to try to make anyone into an idealized image I have in my head, and I certainly wouldn’t do you the disservice of making you so singular. I have a crush on the person you were, to the person I saw do wonderful, silly things. I know that you were far more complex than what I saw, and I hope you have a wonderful complex life full of flaws and mistakes and love and joy and everything that makes up a full and fulfilling life. I hope this doesnt come off as something from “YOU”, I just wanted to say thank you for who you were to me, even if you will never know what you mean and meant to me.

He can date pretty much any girl, she can be shy or confident; but she must know her limits. He looks more for someone who gives off a loyal vibe, they must be passionate about the things they do and must put effort into it. He doesn’t mind it if you’re childish, but like I said before, you must know your limits; he doesn’t want to baby another person outside of volleyball. He finds girls who are interested in exploring new things very cute for some reason. Thicc thighs are just- MMMMHHHHMMM.

Oikawa:

He needs someone who can show him affection/accept a lot of affection and is childish. I think we all know that he’s secretly insecure and this means he needs a girl who can show her love for him, with words or physically as long as he knows he’s loved. He absolutely loves girls who can play along with his flirty jokes and make them up herself. She’ll also need to understand the importance of volleyball, it doesn’t matter if she plays or not but she needs to know that he’s committed a lot to this sport. He also likes trusting girls/ girls he can trust; he’s popular what did you expect? He. loves. bangs!!11!!!11!!!!111!111

Kuroo:

He needs a girl who he can nerd out around, he could start rambling about chemistry and she’d elaborate with him; he needs someone smart. He’d also prefer a girl with a sense of humour, similar to oikawa he’d like for a girl to play along with his jokes. I can see him as someone who appreciates creativity and is willing to try new things. He also needs someone who can take care of him, he’s always taking care of a team and would like to be taken care of himself. Boy absolutely loves a girl with a little more muscle, or busty girls, or both.

Bokuto:

He needs someone who can deal with his mood swings and understand him, he’s a bit like Daichi and really likes it when a girl is very passionate about the things she does. He likes girls that are straightforward and can show their feelings clearly, this also means he likes it when he gets complimented openly. Bonus points if you’re taller than average, he loves tall girls; if you’re short that’s ok though he’ll still think you’re cute. He really likes smart girls that can still be goofy because smart people are just more fun but if she’s goofy? instant 10 outta 10

Terushima:

He likes girls who have endless knowledge of obscure things, he has a lot of it himself and likes to learn more stuff other than the subjects he’s given at school because he thinks school is too plain. He needs someone who can tolerate his craziness and maybe play along with it as well as stopping him from going over the line. He also needs them to know he’s loyal, tbh i think he’s pretty popular with girls and he needs a girl that trusts him. Moles, freckles and beauty marks are just so hot to him???

Futakuchi:

I reckon he really likes innocent girls, not necessarily quiet or stupid, but just girls who don’t seem to know what they’re doing or who appear pure; he thinks they’re so cute. I think he also likes girls that he can get a reaction out of, he loves the cute expressions they give when he teases them and they get mad. Omg he loves cute girls that can be sexy too, thats the hottest thing to him. Bonus points for curly/wavy hair, he thinks it’s the prettiest.

Moniwa (just a quick one the OG captain of date tech):

He loves girls who are confident and smart, it’s even better if they’re a well mannered person who follows rules. There’s just a certain vibe that assertive girls give off that he loves so much, they just seem so powerful and like they’re going to succeed in life. He likes curvy girls mhm.

Ushijima:

Someone who is talkative and passionate about what they do but still knows their limits, he hates baseless confidence and really appreciates it when someone is humble about something most people would usually brag about. He needs them to be talkative because he doesn’t talk so much himself and tbh he thinks girls who talk a lot are cute because they just wanna tell him about stuff and he appreciates that somebody wants to talk to him. He thinks short girls are so cute, but then again, most girls are short to him. 

Iwaizumi:

I once read somewhere that he high-key has a thing for chubby girls and I support that 100% They just look so squishy and everything jiggles and god he just loves them. I think he likes girls that are more mature but can also be very easy going, mature girls are so attractive to him because they give off a strong vibe and they also tend to take care of the people around them. He like girls who are laid back because he’s such an uptight person himself and he actually really likes being told to just slow down. Overall he just wants to be taken care of and have someone he can be smart with.

Rigor Mortis 002: Ayame Of Ends

I apologize in advance to ENDS and Ayame personally, as this honestly reflects poorly of me for taking so long. I’m more openly available to interview and be more consistent, as well as do little things between that. Shouts to anyone and everyone who still reads these interviews by the way, stay smooth.

Ayame is a Michigan born rap artist from the ENDS collective. Many moons again, we previously published an interview which at this time has been lost to the ether of the internet. This is actually framed more as a follow-up to that interview, so it admittedly seems a bit incomplete. Regardless of the framing, I had a blast talking with Ayame about his growth, his second trip to Las Vegas, and a bit more about his other interests and hobbies that contribute to his work and ENDS. RH: It’s been a good minute since we’ve talked, man. How have things been since we last talked?

A: Things have been going as well as they could, just being consistent with music and music videos. It’s really the same since last time slowly chipping away at the Soundcloud echelon *laughs*

RH: Good stuff man. Would you say your video making/editing has changed since you first began?

A: It’s been going better then when I first started. Shooting and editing a music video is a very deep and complex process. When you shoot a video, you have to kind of have this sort of foresight to see what the final product is going to be. It almost if never turns out the way you picture it in your head. It’s a challenge trying to think ahead while simultaneously focusing on what is in front of you. I have definitely gotten better at managing my vision and following through on ideas more now.

RH: On the music of side of things, I assume there’s also been growth there too, right? As it relates to both process and sound?

A: You assumed correct! *laughs* I think as a musician with a passion that is creatively focused, your tastes change and your growth happens sporadically. I think its kind of tough to look inwards at my own work and say definitively yes or no that I have actually grown. I would say people on the outside looking in have a better opinion on whether you grow or not, the music I make is right in front of my face everyday its hard to see what my growth actually is. I personally think my sound and me as a person have changed drastically since I first started doing music! Ultimately its up to the listener to decide whether its true or not.

RH: We met face to face in Las Vegas some time ago, and you recently went back. How was it this second time around?

A: The second time in Vegas really opened my eyes to my own potential and where I could try and take this. I had so much fun being with everyone who was equally passionate and creative as me. Ever since I came back I feel like that momentum I had is just flowing throughout all my music. Going to Vegas by myself was a big step for me, and I think after taking that step each one gets a little less scary to take now. Vegas changed my life internally more then anything and had me realize what I was apart of, it was truly an unforgettable experience.

RH: How have things been with ENDS as of late? Would you say they’ve also played a role in your growth recently?

A: ENDS is a huge reason for my growth 100%. ENDS as a collective showcases one thing really well: making quality music for nobody but ourselves. That influence plus helping each other out push us to higher levels, and I think a lot of the results speak to that. ENDS  honestly has been really pushing the gas. We just had Deergod collab with Bones, the first ever ENDS x SESH collab and we were all very excited for it. Everyone has been killing there music lately, that was just one highlight so far :)

RH: On a personal note aside from ENDS, what goals do you have for yourself this year?

A: My plans for this year are quite lofty. *laughs* I got a lot of ideas for things I want to pursue; whether it’s projects or music videos, I want to conquer it all. I think I’ve started off towards those goals on the right foot at the very least. I want this year to be when I don't take my foot off anyone’s neck. I plan to push myself till I'm exhausted only to keep going. My passion and drive is lethal this yea

RH: I hope this isn’t too personal, but would you say you’ve struggled getting to where you are now, be it on a personal note or with making music?

A: Struggling is daily part of life right? No reason for the question to be taboo! But to answer your question yes. I struggle with depression and a sort of mild bi-polar disorder, I don’t want to sit here and tell you that’s what I have because this is me self diagnosing myself and I am only speaking on how I believe I feel. I go back and forth about how I actually feel and what I want to feel, it’s hard for me to put into words what it feels like to feel like your emotions are fake and the ones you thought were real are supposed to be fake. It’s a constant battle I live with everyday. I am a pretty open book about my mental health I think at the very least its important to talk about. I’m not afraid of who I am. I deal with it, and thats all that matters to me, but to elaborate better on the emotions bit, I have a hard time figuring out what I am actually feeling as opposed to what fake emotions are on my surface and constantly pushing me away from the truth.

RH: Do people around you in your day-to-day know of your music and support you making music?

A: Not really. I mean Junior and Dxrkz are my best friends and they're in ends so I guess that kind of counts I suppose! As for like family and stuff I wouldn't say they support me but they don’t necessarily look down on me either? It’s not a situation I want to dive into that much, but my personal friends outside of music don't and I couldn't care less if they did or not as selfish as that may sound. It doesn’t really matter who supports me or whatever I’d rather look at the people who support me now above all else.

RH: What’s kept your drive for making music alive since you’ve begun?

A: My drive is about feeling better and helping everyone else along the way. My drive is completely selfish let me just say it bluntly, I do this for me. I enjoy it, it stresses me out a lot but it gives me a sense of purpose. Before I started making music I had no idea where I was going and I felt so lost. This music stuff is blood in my veins and if you don't believe me when I say that then keep moving. I love what I do and even though I am more strung out then ever before, I have never felt happier then when I performed a song or when I drop something I created and someone telling me how much they love it. It’s a selfish career path and that's where my drive comes from.

RH: To go backwards a bit, tell me a bit more about the music video process. How much would say it’s changed from the last time we talked to now?

A: With making music videos my focus has gotten more clear on how a video should like and be represented. All I have is a camera and an imagination to bring what the track is trying to say to life. I do things slightly differently here and there, but overall I am just way more clear about how to get the correct shots, the lighting and what to film and where etc. Mind you I am no Cole Bennett lmao but I think with more refinement I can take it higher then I thought possible. Music videos are still secondary to me, I treat them with importance but my music will always be my main focus.

RH: I really appreciate you taking time to do this follow-up man. Once again, do you have any final words or shoutouts to give before we close out?

A: This music shit is meant to be fun and I’ll be damned if anyone tried to tell me how I should act what I should be doing. I’m doing it because I want too. And ENDS + CCZM reflect that attitude perfectly. I love those guys to death special thank you them for supporting me and being with me. And thank you to all my friends outside of collective who send me beats (Umistyle, 2k6, AceNarukami, Esthetic) they keep me going the most. It’s going to be a fucking great year even through all the strife!
