Fandoms that I think that are a little toxic:

. Selena Gomez Fandom:

. I like Selena. She is cute. But some of her fans can be a little toxic....that still ship Selena and Justin even when they broke up and moved on. Not only that...they are judging Selena's boyfriend because of his appearance. This is not cool at all! Only someone who suffered bullying because of her/his appearance knows what it feels like. Selena's fans wouldn't like to be judged either. If she loves him and he makes her happy, what is the problem? Let's just respect them!

. Taylor Swift Fandom:

I'm not a big fan of her, but I still think she is an awesome person. I can't say the same about some of her fans. Every quizz I made, people chose her fandom as the most toxic one...even above Kanye West Fandom. That was a shock! However, since last year, when happened a show in Brazil, I could understand from where people get the toxic part.

. PJO Fandom:

I don't have anything against the fandom. People are nice! But there are others...who just can't stand when you talk bad about their favourite characters or ships...like Percy, Annabeth and Percabeth. For some, if you don't like them, you are a little crazy. Everyone has your opinion, we just have to respect that like many PJO fans do...I guess. I even lets my comments on, even though I know that I will also probably receive negative opinions.

. Harry Potter Fandom:

Nothing against the fandom, but I think this one is similar to PJO's situation where people can't talk bad about Hermione, Harry or any other character or ship. There is even a thing between the creator and the fans/actors...I don't know much about it...but is something related to J.K being homophobic and that's why there is no homossexual character in the story. If she really is, this is not good. But if she isn't, we just have to respect her wishes of not wanting to put homossexual characters in her own story.

. Victorious:

This one has a history from years ago. The fans ended up putting two females actresses against each other. If I'm not mistaken, there are some people still talking about it. It happened years ago, they already made up and everything. We just need to move on. If they are still friends or not, it's their problem, not ours.

. Sabrina and Olivia fandoms:

This one is almost the same as victorious. The fans went a little crazy because of a boy and rumours. They put two females singers against each other and even cursed at them or wished them death. This is not healthy at all! People like this...need to get some help.

. Star Wars Fandom:

I don't know about this fandom that much, but someone commented in one of my quizzes that Star Wars fans were hating on the actor who plays Anakin. If I'm not mistaken, I think it was something related to his acting too (correct me if I'm wrong, please)....because if it was about this...well...from someone who had acting classes, I didn't think his acting was horrible. It could have been better, but he gave the necessary emotion for the movie...rage/anger.

Writing Commissions {open}

As most of my followers know already, my laptop very recently broke, and I haven't been able to write as frequently or in as much volume as I usually do.

At the same time I've been going through a rather hard time, and writing is one of my main coping mechanisms, how I leech myself of toxic emotions and relax, do something productive with my anxiety and depression.

Thanks to my broken laptop, I have not been able to cope productively or in any healthy way at all, which is not good for me, but it has taken a LOT longer than expected to save the money I need to replace my laptop.

So, I made the decision to open writing commissions. I imagine I'd get more luck if I was an artist, but alas, I am not, so here I go shooting my shot. If you're not interested, don't feel bad about ignoring this post. I'll add the information in a "read more", as it will likely be a long post.

You can call me Nico (formerly amelia vale). I've been writing regularly for about 10+ years with a small handful of local college writing courses under my belt (I actually won an award in my first creative writing course. It was a college course and I believe I was 13 or 14 at the time (my charter school allowed me to take college classes while still in highschool)). I've also won a few local essay contests in my town, which probably doesn't mean much, but that's my history.

In my time writing I've finished 11+ novels (some of which reached 50 chapters+, and some which are not posted anywhere online yeet), and over 30 one shots, drabbles, and novellas, with a handful of in-progress novels and shorter fanfictions. I've written both fanfiction and original novels of varying genres.

I am by no means an expert in my craft, and while I do dream of publishing professionally some day, I am nowhere near that goal. I'm certainly hyping myself up, but I just wanted to express the experience I have with writing in general to assure possible consumers that I at least 89% know what I'm doing 🙃 I've also already done a few writing commissions in the past, which can be found on my DeviantArt, but you can find more recent examples of my work on Wattpad and Ao3.

Fandoms I've written for: Harry Potter, The Cursed Child, Riordanverse (notably PJO, HoO, and Magnus Chase), OHSHC, Voltron: Legendary Defender, One Piece, Hetalia.

Note that my main focus currently is Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (Jeddy and Jegulus mostly) but I have some experience writing in the fandoms above, though not all of those fics are posted online, and not all of them are incredibly recent.

I'm comfortable and have experience writing in an assortment of genres and themes, including smutty or sexual themes, incredibly graphic and triggering themes including r@pe, assault, abuse, neglect, torture, self harm, suicide (please note I wrote these themes as a form of therapy, not cuz I'm creepy), fluff, whump, dystopia, post apocalyptic, werewolf, vampire, etc (please ask if you want to know if I've written in a specific genre or theme not listed).

*important: just because an author may write something, does not mean they support that theme. I've written about graphic violence, r@pe, and racism, but I do not in any way support that crap.

So if you've gotten through all the above 👆👆👆👆 (it was actually lowkey stressful to write cuz I'm very bad at complimenting myself, A for effort) and still are curious or interested in commissioning, then below are prices, things I will and won't write, payment methods, etc:

Things I won't write:

incest, pedophilia, graphic depictions of r@pe or any form of sexual assault, marginalization of a race or group I have no personal affiliation with* (I won't write about a black woman enduring racism because I am not a black woman, etc), underage relationships (both characters must be over 19, unless it's a strictly familial fic).

*I will happily write a black character or any other race/minority, but I do not believe I have any right to add in their racial experiences as I have not experienced them for myself, and that would be wildly insensitive of me. I've written about marginalization from a second perspective before, but I had a lot of help from a POC reader while I was writing.

Things I will write:

fluff, smut (within reason plz), whump, romance, familial, Original work, OCs, fanfiction*, pretty much everything else that isn't in the "won't" list. I'm pretty flexible.

*Disclaimer: All characters in any of the fanfiction I write belong to their respective owners, and I claim no rights to them or to their individual stories. I do not own any of the properties, I am simply producing fan works based on or inspired by them.

Prices:

$15 - for fics under 3k

$20 - for anything over 3k words

$30 - $40 - for smut (smut is extra because I don't write it a whole lot, but I CAN write it, and normally smut fics end up much longer than general fics)

*MUST BE 17+ TO COMMISSION SMUT (if your age isn't already in your bio I have every right to decline the commission. I just don't feel comfortable writing smut for anyone under 17. I know youngins will read it anyway, but this is just a personal pet peeve of mine)

I prefer a lot of communication, especially during my writing process, as I want to be sure I get every detail of the fic right for you.

Full payment upfront (this may change later, but currently I would prefer it upfront)

I do not have a time limit on my writing, that kind of thing stresses me out and my writing quality suffers, which commissioners do not deserve. I can however guarantee that I WILL finish your fic.

Please do not increasingly pester or ask me if the fic is finished or how it's going, I promise I will give updates when they are necessary.

The more enthusiasm and details you give regarding the kind of fic you want, the faster I will finish, because I'll probably get just as excited as you. Basically hype me on the theme and I'll be dying to finish.

I need money because I need a new laptop but I still want this to be fun for me, and for whoever commissions me.

I have a right to refuse any commission request without explanation.

This is NOT first come first serve. I will choose the commissions I feel I can do my best on to ensure you get the best quality writing.

Due to the fact I have a fulltime job already, and I can't write that much on my phone or tablet, and the fact I'm saving up to buy a laptop, I will only be taking two commissions at a time, so as not to overload myself and so I can provide a piece of writing to the best of my abilities. When I finish those two commissions, I will reopen these again, until I've saved enough for a laptop. I figure between commissions and work, I could afford one… maybe February if I'm lucky.

After which I will likely shut down commissions (unless something super serious comes up again).

you wanna know what? I’m gonna go all out here.

I’ve stated time and time again that I think Caleo is one of the more healthy percy jackson ships. and i think I’m gonna state why. So lets go into one of the most popular ships in pjo : Solangelo. I’m gonna state several points as to why Caleo is a lot healthier then Solangelo.

Okay. I’ll be the first to admit that Solangelo has some pretty cute moments. But can i state how..... unhealthy this ship has the potential of having? Did Nico really need a ship to be happy? Now i know this will get me a lot of shit so allow me to explain a huge difference between Leo and Nico. Leo wants to have a girlfriend. This isn’t something he has to have. Leo isn’t summoning demoic halfbloods like Theseus or is he getting other half bloods killed by working with Minos. Leo isn’t going this far to be accepted into his friends. He would easily be happy being with friends.

Nico..... can’t really claim this. at all.

In order for Percy to notice him Nico will do almost anything. Like every single thing Nico did in the first series was just to get Percy to notice him. Gods bby i love you but this isn’t healthy. Please love yourself before you start seeking something like this.

Also, am i the only one that feels Nico needs to atone more for what he did in bol? Like, sorry Rick. I’m not going to forgive him for getting people killed. People died cause of Nico. Does this not bother him? Leo is always being weighed down by the fact that hes the 7th wheel for reasons he can’t really help. Its not his fault that everyone besides Calypso doesn't find him attractive. Like.... how is that Leo’s fault?? Also, its not Leo’s fault he crushes easily. and even for all of Leo’s easiness to crush he can’t really compete with how desperate Nico is to find love.

On to ship moments. The whole ‘doctor’s note’ thing. Okay, soooo Nico gets to break the rules of the camp but.... Ella can’t?? Ella would need this shit a hell of a lot more then bloody Nico does. and what the heck makes Nico so speical? Also, this is a violation of Ethics on Will’s part. Will can’t be putting his boyfriend above everyone else. Nico has to follow the rules of camp like everyone else. Again, I’ll go back to Ella. What happens when she has an anxiety attack in the middle of the night. Is she not allowed to get Tyson when she needs him or would that be ‘breaking the camps rules’ Would Ella get yelled at by Chorin or Mr. D? Do you see where I’m getting with this?

The ‘You’re staring’ moment. I have a lot of strong anti feelings bout this scene. am i the only one who feels really bad for Pablo? Like. Nico flat out hates him simply cause Will might be attracted to him. Also, doesn't this remind us of something simmilar? Like.... a straight pairing that did this? Like... .Percabeth vs Perachel?? Remember how everyone hated that? How Annabeth is a ‘bitch’ or Rachel is a ‘fan girl’ and gods do we not recall all the Rachel hate? What do you think the Solangelo’s are gonna do to Pablo? and How frightening must it be to know that the child of death hates your guts cause of his boyfriend? You all were shitting on Annabeth for being prissy at Rachel so get pissed at Nico for doing the same. If you’re gonna call Percabeth unhealthy cause of ‘jealous issues’ then So is Solangelo.

Now that Im done analyzing the shit out of Solangelo lets compare it to Caleo.

Leo as i said just wants to find someone who makes you happy. And when he meets Calypso he is deeply annoyed. Just as much as she is. he dosen’t know what he did to piss her off and at this point he’s sick of girls treating him like shit. Of course you all would call this ‘random’ allow me to get it though your skulls: DEVELOPMENT YOU DON’T LIKE IS NOT RANDOM. JUST CAUSE YOU DON’T LIKE THE WAY SOMETHING GOES DOSEN’T MAKE IT RANDOM. GET YOUR HEADS OUT OF YOUR ASSES And this is my biggest annoyance. you can’t stop shouting random over and over. If you would just read the books without your ‘the only one who can’t find love is leo’ goggles. You would realize that this ship is very beautiful and before you cry ‘two weeks of knowing each other’ Nico and will know each other for two days? YOUR POINT???????! but back to the matter at hand; Calypso and Leo fight cause they are annoyed with each other. But they try different things to get Leo off the island but nothing works. and after each attempt they learn different stuff bout each other and Calypso starts to grow feelings for him. Its slow and steady. *cough* unlike Solangelo. *cough* Leo really wants to save her. Its not bout him anymore. he could care less if Calypso dosen’t like him. He dosen’t think its fair for Calypso to be trapped here. No, Leo isn’t a ‘fuck boy’ Leo loves Calypso to the point where he will do anything to save her.

The lost Trio. Okay, if you don’t know me in real life you probally don’t know how much I HATE the team 7/ Lost Trio type of bond. there is nothing i hate more then the three way bromance that is two people in love with the other one having to suffer. I hate Sakura cause of this in Naruto and I certinally don;t like jason and Piper for doing this to Leo. when i actually like leo but i can’t stand Naruto. its not bloody fair. Why does Jason and Piper get to be in love but Leo can’t? I mean, you all think Jason is just as much of a fuck boy for ‘hurting reyna’ right? Stop being hypocrites. Its no wonder leo wants love. Jason and Piper can’t stop making out with each other?? and yet Leo is suppose to not be bothered by this? Leo isn’t suppose to want to know what this is like?? Sorry tumblr but once again you aren’t being fair. You aren’t looking at this logistically you can’t put down your ‘leo is a fuck boy’ goggles to debate this rationally. its no wonder he picked Calypso. The lost trio didn’t love Leo. Let me say this again: Jason and Piper didn’t love Leo Valdez
