*kicks down a door* Ok so I started watching "Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun" and my unga bunga banana brain went "crossover with sagau cult fic". Now we're here

Welcome to Demon School! Creator!

Alright, here's the drill. You were a big fan of Genshin and loved every character in the game. One night during a thunderstorm you were playing Genshin and bam! Lightning hit your home and now suddenly you're being dragged by a bald guy with horns speaking in enchantment table.

"W-wha-?" You yelled out in shocked as the demon snapped his fingers and started to sound like English. The man, now known to you as Sullivan or grandpa cuase he basically adopted you as his grandchild. You agree because let's just say you're parents ain't the best.

Moving on, you gotten acquainted with Iruma, the blackhole stomach, who I guess is now your brother or something. I don't know, I'm just the narrator. You've also found out that Hell also has videogames and you continued your passion with Genshin.

But oh boy, that lightning storm was rather inconvenient. Why? Well you see, there's some sort of barrier between you and them but the lightning storm weakened it. Now all a certain scientist in Dragonspine, Albedo is finding a way to breach into "your" realm.

But you don't half to worry about that for now because you're getting enrolled to Demon School. There you were now about to fight Mr. Alice Asmodeus because Iruma chanted a forbidden spell at the opening. You being a good sibling wanted to be fair and challenged Iruma to Rock, Paper, Scissors and Iruma can't say no, literally. Loser has to fight Alice and you can already guess who lost.

Now outside you put your dukes up and as Asmodeus charges, you threw a punch and Alice gotten launched by a strong gust of wind (ehe~). You, being freaked out, went with it and somehow summon a cartoonishly large Geo hammer and slammed it down on Alice. Don't worry, he's still alive.

Now here's the kicker, Alice became your servant after losing to you and also became your simp pogchamp. (I mean, I wouldn't mind, dude reminds me of strawberry sweet roll. He literally looks like a snack).

You also meet Clara, a green haired female demon that you thought was on drugs and high amounts of caffine. You ended up getting roped into playing house.

Now let's check in on the wonderful, totally-sane world of Teyvat: Sagau edition! Albedo construct a portal like device as every playable character (or "blessed vessels" as they're called) were standing on a podium infront a rather large crowd at Dragonspine. The reason is that today is the "Heavenly Ascension" where the blessed vessels will travel to their creator's world to possibly bring them back home. Now the vessels walk up Dragonspine after a speech as Albedo activated the portal.

Now cut back to you sleeping peacefully as the TV in your room began to start. The screen was static as silhouettes with white holes for eyes grew larger as a gloved hand broke through the screen as the Genshin characters crawled out of it. You woke up to the multiple sounds of footsteps and screamed out loud as Sullivan, Iruma, and the neko butler I haven't mentioned before rushed in and saw the intruders.

After a while of talking (and pain), you found out that you're apparently their God.

"And that's why I have a hoard of people behind me" You finished talking to your friend group of Asmodeus, Clara, and Iruma.

"I knew you were powerful master, but I didn't know you were a god!" Asmodeus said as he started bowing at you.

"Your excellence, may I inquire about who this is?" Lizard daddy Zhongli (Me: *pukes in a bucket*) asked you.

"Ah, he's a friend of mine. Alice Asmodeus, this is Zhongli. Zhongli, this is Alice Asmodeus" You responded back to Zhongli.

"What's a friend?" Asmodeus asked as he look up at you.

"Well uh-" You were about to respond-

The light of the morning sun shone brightly, yet the air was brisk as it nipped at your cheeks. The crisp smell of sea air wafted in from the docks, while the rhythmic chime of ship’s bells echoed off the walls of buildings, indicating that sailors had risen to greet the day and the unruly tide that awaited them.

Your hand was pocketed with his, keeping your grip warm and secure as you walked closely together through the awakening streets of Liyue. At the brink of dawn, your lover began persistently nudging you awake, peppering your face in sweet kisses while promising you with an even sweeter meal as a form of bargain. How lucky he was that it appeared to have worked.

Mornings like this weren’t totally uncommon with Zhongli, however this seemingly newfound fervor for planning a whole day trip like this was a little out of the ordinary. When you asked him what the occasion was— out of slight concern that you might’ve forgotten it— he denied that there ever was one; he simply wanted to express his “love and adoration through a little quality time together.”

Before you could press any further, something had caught your lover’s attention, as you were suddenly being ushered in another direction. He escorted you to sit at one of the tables at the Wanmin Restaurant and, once you were settled, excused himself to order food, planting a quick peck to your cheek in the process. Looking around you noticed that the area wasn’t too crowded at this time of day; there was a certain peacefulness that had settled over the atmosphere that contrasted heavily with the normally bustling streets of the harbor. Perhaps that was what he intended by waking you up so damn early.

Breakfast was delicious, as promised. It also served to ease some of the bitterness you felt towards being jostled awake at the crack of dawn. Zhongli didn’t hold back, either. Anything and everything that you might like was placed on the table in front of you, and you weren’t sure how he was able to afford it, nor if you’d manage to finish it all without going into a coma.

On top of all that, your lover seemed to have brought his own food from home, though it was neatly wrapped and sat underneath the small table. Again, when you asked him about it— not having ever recalled him making it— his reply was as vague as ever; “oh it’s just a little something for later.”

After boxing all the leftovers from the meal that Chef Mao so kindly put together despite the large request, Zhongli offered to take you to visit Dihua Marsh to show you a few of his favorite sights, and maybe even enlighten you with some of the history as well.

There was something so enchanting about the way he spoke; his deep, honeyed voice coating over his words as he recounted tales of his many years of living. He exuded the calm and sophisticated aura of a scholar, which he practically was whether or not he chose to admit it, yet his occasional naivety and silliness were equally charming qualities of his.

You failed to realize how quickly you were drowning in his presence until he directed a question at you, which you had to embarrassingly ask him to repeat. Fortunately, Zhongli wasn’t irritated that you hadn’t been paying attention, in fact he found the dumbfounded expression you wore to be quite endearing.

“I said,” he began as he reached out, gently lifting your chin with his thumb and forefinger while tucking a few stray hairs and a glaze lily that he must’ve picked earlier, gently behind your ear.

He then leaned in, arms snaking around and pulling you towards him by the waist as his breath danced along the side of your neck, lips ghosting over your skin.

“...would you allow me to take you to see a few ruins with me? There is still so much that I wish to show you…”

A sudden tingle shot down your spine as Zhongli’s lips moved to decorate your neck in soft, delicate kisses that seemed to leave a burning imprint in their wake, leaving you slightly flushed. It was truly astonishing how easily he could leave you breathless, even with such little strenuous activity. His affectionate demeanor was slightly peculiar, too, but you were hardly in the position to complain about it.

“Then show me,” you replied, managing to tame the swarm of butterflies that had almost completely consumed you.

Letting out a deep chuckle, Zhongli withdrew his kisses while his hand moved to cup your cheek. He hummed in satisfaction, admiring you with his glowing amber gaze for a moment before speaking.

“Gladly.”

That afternoon was spent with Zhongli as your tour guide as you traversed the various decaying stone structures throughout the Guili Plains, Luhua Pool, and finally, Jueyun Karst, where Zhongli recalled some of his early memories of the adepti with a fond smile adorning his face. You quickly discovered him to be quite the archaeological expert, not that you ever doubted it of course, but he seemed to have quite the knack for uncovering intricate little mechanisms that had been hidden away and preserved in stone over the course of the last few millennia.

He was also very adamant about showing you many of Liyue’s great sights, and was not afraid to express this by taking you to every available vantage point, regardless of how far or out-of-reach it seemed. Even if you claimed to be exhausted, Zhongli would simply carry you the rest of the way because you were going to see this view. And what a view it was. From up high it was easy to take in almost the entirety of Liyue in all of its golden splendor, which was the original intention in bringing you here. This was something that he spent years constructing and cultivating, something he took great pride in and fought hard to protect. It was his world, and you were his crowned jewel.

As the sun was beginning to set, Zhongli escorted you back to the harbor before excusing himself to quickly go and “check something,” sending you off once again with a sweet kiss, and asking you to meet him at the peak of Mt. Tianheng in about twenty or so minutes. You smiled to yourself as you waved goodbye, curious as to what he had in mind and slightly amused by his frantic behavior. You thought back to your earlier denied inquiries regarding what was so special about today.

Perhaps now you would get some answers.

When you arrived at the rendezvous point, well, least to say you were taken aback. Laid out before you was a spread of a variety of your favorite foods, including desserts and a tea set, accompanied by an array of flickering candles that illuminated the small picnic blanket as well as the single glaze lily that grew nearby. Just past it stood the man that you had fallen in love with, his back turned as he watched the sun sink beneath the clouds.

“What’s all this?”

Immediately you caught his attention.

“Ah, there you are, my dear,” he said, turning slightly to face you. “Come here. I have something I’ve been meaning to show you.”

He extended his hand out towards you, a gesture for you to stand beside him. You approached him hesitantly in an attempt to not disturb the lovely display he had assembled for you, while letting his arm gently drape itself across your shoulders.

Your breath caught in your throat. By the Archons, the view was stunning. Sure, you had been sight-seeing all day and this could hardly be any different from the last dozen places you trekked to watch the skyline, but there was something about the way in which the glowing aura of the evening sky reflected off of Liyue and the twinkling sea of its harbor that left you in completely awestruck.

Had you not been quite as transfixed as you were in that moment, perhaps you would’ve caught sight of the distant, far-away look in your lover's eyes. Maybe you would have noticed the way he was fidgeting slightly, or the way his eyes were no longer trained on the view, but on something far more radiant.

“It’s beautiful,” you said, snapping him out of his trance.

Zhongli smiled, enjoying watching the awe and wonder twinkle in your irises.

“Indeed it is.”

You felt his arm lift away from your shoulders.

“But I think I have found something far more precious.”

You felt his hand slip into yours.

“Oh really? And what’s tha—”

When you turned, Zhongli, Rex Lapis, the former Geo Archon, was kneeling before you, regarding you with such an adoring gaze as if you were the deity to be revered, answering your question without needing to utter a single syllable: ‘You’

“(Y/N),” he began, giving your hands a light squeeze. “There is much I’ve been meaning to say to you, but I fear that I have such little time,” he sighed. “When I first gave up my gnosis, I found myself wandering aimlessly, unsure of my place in this world now that I was no longer Rex Lapis. I am now just a mortal man, with no duty to my people. It was a… foreign concept to me, at first. I wasn’t sure how to lead a carefree life, with a clear and resolute heart, until I met you.

“I never anticipated to meet someone quite like yourself, nor did I intend to fall in love as deeply as I have, but I hold no regrets. You have shown me true happiness, and for that I must thank you.”

Zhongli pressed a kiss to your knuckles as you felt your eyes begin to well up with tears.

“Each day spent with you is as valuable as gold to me. Our time together is boundless. I knew not my place in this world before, but I now realize that it has always been right here with you.”

He let out a shaky breath.

“(Y/N), my love, I cannot imagine a world without you in it, and I wish to form a new contract with you from here on out, so please…”

Reaching into his pocket, Zhongli produced a small, black box. Inside was a beautiful jade ring, crested and adorned with gold.

“...will you marry me?”

It was a warm summer’s night, and the moon rose full, its light ricocheting off of crystalline streams of water as they cascaded down the high cliffs which surrounded you. The air was humid, but somehow the combination of mist and the gentle night’s breeze made each inhale feel more rejuvenating than the last.

Fireflies were out tonight. They were dancing about you and your fiancé as you stood together side by side adorned in matching hanfu, rapidly beating hearts synchronizing to the same rhythm. It was a relatively quiet ceremony. There weren’t too many guests, and the venue was fairly secluded, making the process feel much more intimate.

After lighting the altar candles and paying respects, a tea ceremony was held, followed by the exchanging of vows. A few adepti were present, as well as some close friends and family members. Seldom did you release each other’s hand, regardless of what you were doing or who was looking. It provided a sense of security for the both of you, a silent reminder to one another that ‘yes, I’m still here, and yes, this is real.’

Although Zhongli is known for being a very composed gentleman, he still found it difficult to restrain himself from sweeping you off your feet and twirling you around while kissing you all over; he was overjoyed, though he was not the easiest person to read.

Instead of performing such an extravagant display of affection, Zhongli opted for a single, chaste kiss once you completed in saying your vows. It was extremely tempting to turn that one kiss into many, much more passionate kisses, but Zhongli was still quite aware of his audience, giving him reason to hold back.

After the wedding reception was held and you had just sent off the very last guest, your husband pulled you aside, albeit a little harsher than intended. You let out a small yelp as you collided with him, surprised by his sudden brazenness.

“You look divine,” he spoke softly, admiring you as you were bathed in moonlight.

A hand then moved to brush some of the hair away from your face, while his other remained gently clasped with yours. Soft lips moved to caress your forehead, and then your temples.

“I have been waiting for this moment for a long time,” he continued.

His lips then moved to your cheek, then jaw, lingering there for a moment while his hand cradled your face.

“Longer than you can imagine,” his voice was deep, sultry, and right in your ear.

He moved to repeat the same process on the other side of your face.

“So forgive me if I’m a little selfish tonight.”

He kissed the tip of your nose before moving his lips to hover over yours, warm breath mingling with your own.

“I must make up for the lost time, after all.”

Zhongli sealed his promise with a kiss that was deep and devouring, conveying all the emotions he had ever felt for you as well as one last, simple message:

'I am utterly and wholly devoted to you.'

Can I request a streamer genshin impact au where everyone is a streamer but male y/n is a new realeased character, so what would there reaction be to the 1st and powerful harbinger (and his foul legacy form)?

Genshin Impact Streamer AU - (Male Reader)

It seemed the roles were reversed. Our dear players have turned into a newly released character, and the characters have turned into streamers.

When these characters saw your trailer, they were hyped. Not only were you a powerful harbinger, but you were also the 1st harbinger! (and hawt too lmao) They did tons of streams talking and trying to figure you out before you officially got released. Leaks can spread around easily, which got to them. Many Y/N fans went to their streams because they mainly talked about you. And when your foul legacy form was announced? ohohoho. Let’s just say that they were announced as the biggest simps ever. (body pillow of you? maybe.) Albedo, Childe (award for buying the most figurines of you), Gorou, Ayato, Kazuha, Zhongli

(Albedo has fanart of you in his room that he drew during stream lol) (Childe definitely traumatized his brother by saying that a 3d harbinger anime guy should be his husband or smth.)

Have you ever seen a Genshin video/stream do rituals for summoning their favorite characters? Ahem. These characters have bought candles, your favorite food, and written your name a hundred times so that they could have a better success rate of getting you. Candles in a circle, your name on paper scattered around, and your favorite food in the middle. Everyone chanted your name on the stream as per requested by them for the monthly ritual. Kinda sounds like a cult now. (And yes, they sacrificed characters in the game lol) Ah, but of course the foul legacy part. These characters have done these rituals before even knowing what you looked like. However, when they saw you and who you were, these rituals were done daily. (Even if you weren’t on the banner and they have you already at C6) Fischl, Childe, Itto

When these characters saw you, they already thought you were hot. If you were real, they would date you. Marriage would be preferable though. However, when your foul legacy form came on the screen, they blushed so hard. Everyone: Xiao, Childe, Zhongli, Diluc, Kaeya (probably smirked and flirted), Ayato, Kazuha, etc.

Everywhere you see in their house, are pictures and fanart of you. So proud of it that they show their house to their stream daily. Especially in their bedroom, there are pictures of you in your foul legacy form. Way too many. Would pretend you are real in their pictures and talk to you. In their living room, they have a big picture of you and the other harbingers. They like to call themselves a Y/N enthusiast. (would daydream about you in public) Itto, Kujou Sara (Except she would be more secretive about it and have a stash of Y/N related things), Keqing (Same as Sara), Fischl

This person is very nice. They play playlists from YouTube on their stream while playing your character. They can’t and won’t fight you for materials like Childe’s boss fights which gives them materials. They refuse to because they feel it’ll hurt you in-game :(. Even if you’re hot in your foul legacy form, no. Though they must admit, everyone freaked out including them about your foul legacy form. They almost fell out of their chair from the shock of how good-looking you were. Bennett (becoming lucky from not falling from the chair?), Fischl (would probably cosplay you), Sucrose

First time meeting:

He was very curious about you when he first saw you.

When he approached you, you just kept smiling, while tried to start a conversation with you.

You just kept staring intently at him with a smile, ngl he got kind of scared.

But the moment you pulled out a coin and flipped it into the air, he was so confused, huhh???

When the coin landed on your palm and you smiled at him, he waited patiently for you to answer him.

But what you did next is something he really didn't expect.

“Sayonara” You smiled at him and ran away leaving Childe in a confused daze.

After that he would keep searching for you, and try to make conversation.

When you two get together:

You would slowly try to have a conversation without the use of your coin. (but Childe luckily didn't try to push you)

“Childe…”

He will be very patient with you, and even though he still teases you and flirts with you, he knows when to stop.

If you decide to tell him about your past and about your dead sister who decided to take care of you, he will first of all feel a lot of grief and anger. Not anger towards you but towards the people who treated you like shit.

He will let you take your time, while he teaches the people who treated you badly a..few lessons.

This bastard is very clingy while you are...not. So he likes to cling onto you like a koala bear, and you just let it be.

He flirts a lot with you but you don't respond most of the time, but when you flirt back he will be shook and flustered.

If he has seen you fighting, he will want to spar with you.

Masochist.

You usually just spend time together eating or sparring.

It's a cute relationship while he supports you all the way!

Kazuha

First time meeting:

He just wanted some peace and quiet in nature, maybe reciting some haiku.

But as he got to the clearing he saw a person calmly sitting there with butterflies flying around (her/him/them), he just stood there shocked.

As you turned your head around your eyes met, and it felt as if there was an invisible connection with each other.

After that day you often meet him at the exact same place, sometimes he tells you haiku’s or you two just sit in a comfortable silence with butterflies surrounding you two.

When you two are together in a relationship:

You both are very calm people and you don’t talk that much but his calming presence, makes you use your coin less.

✧｡ definitely simps for ningguang and albedo, but will see to it that he proves himself better than any of the guys you simp for

✧｡ he doesn’t take the game very seriously but still manages to reach AR 40, even though he has no idea how builds work

✧｡ goes into emo mode when he doesn’t pull the character he wants

✧｡ the story quests make him sad when he does them, especially venti’s

✧｡ he regretted not having venti after he finished that story quest and just watched the story with venti and his old friend over and over again to mourn

✧｡ and he checks up on stanley every time he sees him anywhere, usually in front of mondstadt at night

So I witnessed fgo and Genshin fans go to war over who has worse summon rates but I think they should band together under one cause: lack of husbandos

I heard that the Japanese fate fans on Twitter were complaining/pointing out that the devs and whoever are in charge have a clear bias of gold/high rarity female presenting characters over any dude like 🙄 not every fan is a horny whaler. This year they released 30+ characters and I think only 3 were men who I questionably simp for because all we’re getting is crumbs at this point

hopefully mihoyo sees this and learn to balance out their roster otherwise fans will only continue to lash out at the wrong people

LOL I LOVE WATCHING THE FGO VS GENSHIN WARS TBH- But I definitely agree with your point there. My reasons for quitting FGO are the lack of male characters and the ridiculous amount of females that are big breasted (I'M LOOKING AT YOU PASSIONLIP AND MURASAKI). I don't mind genderbends but I think nasuverse has way too many genderbends of male characters. Not everyone is waifu-obsessed ffs 😒 Mihoyo already has Honkai that is tailored for the waifu appreciators, and imo Tears of Themis isn't going to appeal to ALL of the husbando appreciators. Who does Mihoyo think we husbando appreciators are? People obsessed with dating games where our options are generic tropes? Get real, husbando appreciators these days are gamers who enjoy fantasy ARPG. If Mihoyo is going to make Genshin Impact a game for both factions, they should consider giving both factions equal treatment too.

I've started getting into Punishing Gray Raven more because the male : female ratio there is bigger then Genshin's 😔 Also guys if you want a husbando collecting game where all the men are beautiful, consider playing Touken Ranbu because an English version of the game has been released by Johren 🙏 Some of the male Genshin seiyuu are there, like Tomoaki Maeno (Zhongli's seiyuu) and Ryohei Kimura (Childe's seiyuu) hehe

Hello, it’s Admin Anesthesia here! Even though I don’t personally simp for Zhongli, I got a request from a mutual to write something and decided to screw it and post it here as well. I hope you enjoy! ---------------- Summary: After a failed date with a certain Hydro vision user, Zhongli finds you and asks you why you did something so stupid.

Content Warnings: None ---------------- “Hey.” You smiled weakly at your friend, Zhongli, who had immediately crossed his arms upon seeing you.

“May I ask what you were doing out there near the Pyro Regisvine, especially by yourself?”

“No...because I don’t want to admit it.”

Zhongli rolled his eyes, “Come on, Y/N...what’s wrong?”

“You know the guy I told you I was interested in? The one that had asked me out on a date?”

“His name was Childe, right? Hydro vision.”

“Yeah…”

“What’d he do?”

“He said that he wanted to fight with me, combat style. Wanted to see my skill and I guess I misread it as a date. He wanted us to work together to defeat the Pyro Regisvine, but then he disappeared right after we summoned the monster and I barely managed to defeat it. I found him on the way back to Liyue and he told me that any of the Traveller’s friends would be terminated and that he would rather it be a boss rather than him that took me out. Was it foolish of me to think that maybe for a second, someone was interested in me?”

“Oh come on, there are plenty of people out there-”

You shook your head, “Zhongli, it’s different. You’re the type of guy that people would write love songs about. I’m not. You can’t possibly understand.”

“What? I’m not that type of guy. No person has written a love song about me. I don’t-”

“It was in a metaphorical sense. What I’m saying is that when people look at you, they don’t get disgusted at the idea of being with you. Constantly, some people fawn over you and I can’t help but say that I’m jealous. Every day of my life, I wish I didn’t have a Pyro vision because there are times where people judge me for the idea that I was gifted power from a God that I didn’t have a choice of. You’re perfect, Zhongli, and I’m left here, picking up those last pieces and wishing I had even a bit of the personality you did.”

“Y/N L/N, I will tell you this for every day of your life. I would write a love song about you. I’d write 500 if it meant you got to see that you were special. People love you and I don’t know what you mean, but you are one of the most good-looking guys I’ve ever met. I don’t care what other people think or even if they can’t see your worth, but I mean it when I’d say I’d write love songs about you if it meant you knew your worth.”

You paused before just snorting, “You’re so cheesy.”

“I know I am,” Zhongli replied. “But...I hope you know that I’m not kidding.”

“But...don’t you know the rumor about how Pyro vision holders will burn your heart? Aren’t you afraid of that?”

“No…of course not. Because you melt my heart.” Zhongli ruffled your hair, “Now...come on. Let’s get you back home and healed up.”

“I’m fine.”

You shrugged it off, but Zhongli snorted, “Right...but don’t you say you wanted to hear me tell you a story from long ago? One you haven’t heard it before.”

You perked up, “Yes...fine, I’ll let you bring me home.”

Once you were situated in your bed and Zhongli was satisfied with healing you, Zhongli started to tell his story. It wasn’t long before you had fallen asleep, which made sense, considering how tiring fighting a boss by yourself that had the same powers were. Zhongli chuckled as he looked at you fondly, “What am I going to do with you, Y/N?”

Before standing up and leaving, he pressed his lips to your forehead and ruffled your hair, “One day, Y/N...one day I will tell you my feelings, but until that day comes, I’ll just sit back and watch your life play out, wondering what will happen when immortality takes yet another loved one from me.”

I am a major xiao simp and seeing him or imagining him crying broke my heart. My boy needed a sign, I’m giving him one. Let’s say it’s been a year or two since Xiao disappear a lot of things happen like getting a surprise visit from our dead grandfather and his shrine having four lit candles the next morning and a big iridium bear just standing on his shrine. Okay nothing too fancy here, we’ve seen weirder stuff ever since going country, farmer is more concern of their missing void chicken.

The said void chicken somehow ventured out a lot further away from the farm and guess who found the chicken. Xiao was just patrolling like usual when he saw the unusual and definitely familiar black feathered chicken. It was beside the river, pecking at the ground and minding its own business when it was swoop up by the adeptus. Xiao followed (more like flew with how fast he was going) the river upstream with the chicken in hand and there at the very end is a very familiar farm.

Okay I’m gonna stop here because this is too long now and I’m having trouble finding words. Sorry if some stuff isn’t clear, English is not my mother tongue. I also could not think of anything with the other two because I really believe Childe will still choose his family and Zhongli got Thanos snap out of Stardew universe. That and I’m just a major bias hehehehe.

I can totally relate to the simp mode at an emotional level 😤 To be quite honest Xiao didn't appeal to me much until I wrote for him. Now I can't wait to write more in the future LOL But either way, I do think out of all the boys I wrote for the story, he has a higher chance of seeing MC again.

Xiao dearly misses MC. The way he just drugged her unconcious, without letting her say a word or even the comfort of knowing what was going on (like imagine MC waking up and be like "Xiao?" I headcanon she'd be wandering through the valley for days just to search for him, taking a while to accept that he was no longer there). From the way I understand, Xiao may be cold but he is completely selfless in a way that he doesn't want to hurt other people. He thought by leaving MC ignorant to everything would spare her the pain, it was all he wanted. Kinda shot himself in the foot with that one. Lack of closure leads to endless thinking and regret huehuehuhe.

(Tbh I haven't touched Stardew Valley since 1.4 cuz life so not too familiar with the updates xP) The shrine is such a good idea since both shrines in both worlds have magical powers. But their powers are also very limited. From Xiao's sidestory we can see how he conducts a ritual to summon the conartist and talk to his spirit. My memory has been a little hazy but I think we go and collect a bunch of stuff from run down temples? That was how we were able to activate the ritual. In terms of summoning someone from another universe, well...that's a little tricky. Logically you would probably need items from the other universe as well which Xiao did not bring much (other than the lucky charm you made him. Is that enough for a ritual? xD)

As for MC's case with her grandpa's shrine, although it was only capable of reaching out to grandpa but I. Believe. In. The. Power. Of. MANIFESTATION!!! Omg the fact that the person she loved just left her so abruptly was so conflicting for her. She has to vent. She vents to her grandpa and he listened to her wishes. And guess what? MC was able to travel in her spirit form to visit Teyvat yay!

She sees Xiao and she begins to talk to him but realized that she could not hear him for she was merely a mirage cultivate by the strong wishes they both had. So much to say and so little time, MC had to pick her words wisely even though she was angry at him for knocking her out but she was extremely overjoyed to see him again. Xiao intakes a sharp breath as if his heart stopped from the sight of your face, your gentle eyes, he runs into you without a second thought only to have your form ghost through his grasps...

"This...really isn't a dream, isn't it?"

Your voice was like an echo hailing from a place so far that he just knew how it would all end.

Xiao sometimes wondered if there was anything he could have done differently. A happier outcome? Was it possible when he was so binded by his duties towards the country he served for his whole life? Who knows really, all they had right now was this very moment and they had to make it count.
