Qotd: what do you consider to be cheating on your partner? ... Beneath the Door-Book1 of the Chrysals Saga is an exceptionally written suspense. I enjoyed guessing throughout the book. It has a slow pace though but nonetheless It was a good read. I like the characters and the dialogues that went on between them. Most of all, the book has a lot of suspense! You can guess all you want like I did but at the end i realised I was terribly wrong. Totally recommend to mystery and suspense lovers. I am a huge fan of the body horror trope, and the way Sambury utilizes it to talk about real life horrors and tragedy is incredibly impactful, and adds so much to the story without coming off as something done for pure shock value.⁣

I loved Daisy and Brittney so much. Sambury wrote these two characters so well - they are angry, they are withdrawn, they are vengeful, and they are messy. Their character development was incredible to see on the page, and I really did love how their stories ended.⁣

All in all, I was thoroughly impressed by Sambury’s writing with this book, and it has solidified just how much talent in the writing craft they have. I cannot wait to see what Sambury comes out with next!⁣

The Scandinavian term encompasses a feeling of coziness, contentment, and well-being found through cherishing the little things. In The Little Book of Hygge, Meik Wiking, whose think tank revolves around exploring the causes and effects of human happiness, lays out the primary principles of hygge in Denmark, which include atmosphere, presence (the ability to be focused in the now), pleasure, gratitude, comfort, and togetherness. The concept of hygge is about gratitude and savoring the simple pleasures that bring you joy. Affirmations can be a powerful tool for you. Use affirmations to improve your wellbeing, boost your self-esteem, and encourage creative thinking. Недавно попала ко мне в руки эта книга. Сразу я отнеслась к ней скептически, потому что из названия ясно, что понятие связано с датской культурой. А с Данией меня не связывает ничего (ладно бы про Китай). Решила прочитать для общего развития - и затянуло на дня 2.

Хюгге – искусство создания уюта. Именно благодаря ему согласно данным соц.опроса , датчане – самые счастливые люди в Европе. Как и в любой стране, здесь есть свои минусы: высокие налоги и цены, не самые благоприятные климатические условия. Но это не мешает людям быть счастливыми. Качество жизни растет. Изменено соотношение работы и личной жизни: в Дании достаточно короткий рабочий день (для тех, у кого есть дети - до 4 часов, для остальных – до 5). Датчане чаще остальных встречаются с родными и друзьями. Хюгге – о близости, свечах, вкусной еде, комфортной одежде, кино, настолках и покое. I recently got my hands on this book. I was immediately skeptical about it, because it is clear from the name that the concept is connected with Danish culture. And I have nothing to do with Denmark (it would be fine about China). I decided to read it for general development - and it swallowed me up for 2 days.

Hygge is the art of creating comfort. It is thanks to him that , according to a social survey, the Danes are the happiest people in Europe. As in any country, there are disadvantages here: high taxes and prices, not the most favorable climatic conditions. But this does not prevent people from being happy. The quality of life is growing. The ratio of work and personal life has been changed: in Denmark, the working day is quite short (for those who have children - up to 4 hours, for others – up to 5). Danes meet with family and friends more often than others. Hygge is about intimacy, candles, delicious food, comfortable clothes, movies, board games and peace. Well, the book is about how it is organized in the Danish traditions. In general, recommend
