They actually had it custom made from some guy my dad found woodworking outside of his garage lol! It’s one-of-a-kind, and the guy never wants to make another set again although he’s really proud of the work he did.

Your page is so inspiring. What are little things you do throughout the day that bring you joy? How do you keep them a priority?

omg so this question actually inspired me to make a list so thank you ♥️

- pay attention to my first sip of morning coffee, and really enjoy the process of making/buying it

- meditating with my partner in the morning

- my 2 line daily journal before bed!! A must!

- frequent gazes outside of office or home windows to remind myself I am not, indeed, an extension of my computer

- (so weird but) smelling my partner when he wakes up bc he smells like warm buttery toast extra in the AM

- my evening treat and herbal tea before putting on my show

- noticing that feeling of settling into bed with my book, skincare ✔️ living room and kitchen reset ✔️

How do you and your boyfriend split expenses when travelling?

Pretty close to down the middle, he eats/drinks more than I do so he just picks up a bigger percentage of our food & bev tab. We share a credit card so it’s all just one bill anyway.

How is your life so beautiful? How can I beautify my life and home? My home is like a cluster fuck of hand me downs and free furniture off the roads.

“Comparison is the thief of joy” — I am lucky to have this life but sometimes I sit in my 650 sq ft and I burn with envy over those that have houses and yards and jobs they’re in love with. Very bad. We can’t let ourselves think like this!

Practically, maybe choose a colour palette and try to buy/collect all of your interior decor and furniture within that scheme. That way you’re not suffocated by a single colour (think sad beige life) but not overwhelmed by too many things you got off the cuff. I chose an earth palette, which I find is grounding and cozy.
