If I were to think of something on the spot, said "motive" would probably be: he wants to Take Over Hell, and what better way to do that than to strike the Ruler himself?

Aaaa I support!! <3<3<3 I'm really glad I've been able to inspire you! At least in my opinion, creating stuff is always valuable — Art art been very therapeutic for me :0 When I was younger I had a lot of trouble getting myself started on making stuff, and I was very on and off with it, especially during more tempestuous times. It's been about...seven or eight years now since I decided to start drawing every day, and admittedly some days all I have time/energy for is stuff like this:

But to me it still counts! Even though most of the stuff I draw in my sketchbook never becomes a finished piece, and it's all very messy, it still helps my brain to create it. Even when I just end up making a page of vaguely dinosaur-like creatures and weird little beasts like these ones from recently lol

Anyway! That was a bit of a ramble, but most importantly: If you do decide to create again, I wish you the best of luck, anon! <3<3<3

Speechless watching Neuvillette's Character Demo.

A nation where trials are publicized and hence the "entertainment" aspect is prioritized over their legal function is already cruel enough. But it gets even more poignant when you consider that the Chief Justice, who presides over all of these trials, who excels at his job due to his sternness and authoritative presence, is actually a highly considerate and sensitive guy, one you might even call soft on the inside, and his work brings so much intense internal tumult--conveyed by the auditory and visual chaos during the trial in the demo--that no one knows about just because he's not very expressive by social conventions. And it's tied back to the in-game lore neatly with the metaphorical bow of the rain imagery: in-game dialogue heavily implies (just one tiny step down from outright states) that Fontaine's rain is the manifestation of Neuvillette's tears, and the loudest and busiest parts of the trial in the demo are accompanied--almost overshadowed--by driving rain and rumbling thunder.

Then the trial ends, and it's finally quiet. Neuvillette has a second or two of tranquility.

And then Furina reminds us again of the true social purpose of court proceedings in Fontaine: trials can't be sufficiently dramatic and entertaining if they're too short!

As if it's not atrocious enough that the most grievous matters of the lives of civilians are made into a public spectacle, the entertainment value of a trial also takes priority over the degree to which it causes the Chief Justice, the one who manages court proceedings for a living, such emotional turmoil that he can barely focus. With trials serving a primarily theatrical function, the very real consequences, emotional and otherwise, whether they're evident in the participants' conduct or not, are effectively reduced to fiction with the sole purpose of engaging the audience.

I don't have a conclusion thought out for this post other than someone elsewhere said they didn't think the demo was very good and I disagree because it made me sad 🤣

#i walked into a situation today where my mom was effectively already dead. effectively bc her body was and is still alive. still breathing #painful groaning purrs. but her mind was gone yesterday. my dad said he showed her a picture of the mountains i took that day and told her #i loved her and she smiled. thats what he said. maybe he was just being nice. or maybe thats the last time she thought of me. i dunno. but #the human body is an incredible thing. shes got a heart still powering a broken body. too full of tumors to function anymore. stomach #streched like a pregnant mother. it happed really fast and now its happening very slow #im somehow probably better off than the rest of them. i only got here for the aftermath of a downslide. my daily life will b least effected #i only really saw her twice a year living so far away and she didnt text much. didnt call often. so life wont change much ill just kno shes #not there. which is sad. but theres nothing to b done abt it. life goes on. it hasnt been all bad tho. its nice to talk to my family abt her #how incredible she was. bc she was. wish her mom wasnt here tho. she doesn't deserve to b here. my mom wouldnt want her here. she didnt want #her here. but anyway. i wish her body would just let her go now. so we can sleep. so this can be over. so she can rest #but even like this shes stubborn and resilient. they say it could go on for days but i hope not. may the universe let her rest shes gotta b #so tired after 10 years of this. but i have no regrets. she knew how i felt abt her. and i dont think she had regrets either. she did so #much up to the very end. went out on a high note without the burdon of knowing it was coming #i dunno. its just such a strange experience to watch the empty shell of your mother sleeping like a gurgling baby #unrelated

i just rememberd adhd meds exist and now im upset because i could have that if it wasn't for that freakin neurologyst we went to see that told us it was impossible that i could have adhd because i have good grades in school. literally the ONLY question he asked me and immediately said it was impossible. we spent like 5 minutes there. he could've at least... explained something???? anything?????? and now i'd feel bad about asking my parents to see another neurologist because that costs a lot of money :((

#now im just unable to concentrate on anything and feeling very worthless #ok gonna start rambling here a bit #vent? ->#i'm just not good at anything except drawing. everything is hard and i don't think i'm capable of getting a job and contributing to society #in any way except drawing. my self worth is being held almost entirely by my ability to draw.#but i'm also incredibly slow and unproductive and it's so hard sitting down and starting a drawing and finishing that drawing #drawing is the thing that makes me feel alive and feel good about myself so when i can't draw i just feel really awful #i just wish i could concentrate and work and be productive man. why do i have so much stuff going on in my brain. why is everything so hard #sadge 😔😔#ok gonna try to draw i hope something cool comes out or i'm throwing my computer out the window and playing videogames #oh also another neurologist once told me depression can't be caused by school #i'm pretty sure it can but idk im not a doctor #what is up with these neurologists man #i know it's gonna get better tho. life might suck but i *am* a teenager and it's only gonna go up from here.#im still learning about myself and stuff. also no school next year that's gonna be awesome #don't wanna end on a sad note bc life is good actually #and i'm fucking amazing at drawing

#happy easter clanker #for the past three days ive just been playing banjo kazooie for fun #ended originally with a time of 8:22:12 #but that changed when i wanted to try getting the stop n swop stuff for the first time on my copy of banjo #so the final time is 9:32:33 #i forgot how much i disliked rusty bucket bay. good lord that engine room and stinky bad water #every other level was fine. though i got so confused at first as to what jiggy i was missing in click clock woods #it was just the one on the branch at the very top of the tree. i wouldve never found it had i not looked it up #notes and honeycombs though? did those purely from memory #jiggies too i guess minus the single 1 out of 100 #which i think is better than what i was hoping to achieve playing without a guide #i didnt get all mumbo tokens though. i DID get the ones you could easily lose if done wrong though.#i need 7 more mumbo tokens basically to reach 100%#i was also very tempted to 100% gruntys furnace fun (i.e. all squares) but. at a point i was like ''hm. no lets not''#maybe someday. just not then.#i managed to blind guess a lot of grunty questions though #only talked to her sister like. once. and i didnt get any of those questions on the quiz #oh yknow whats fucked up? that one shortcut between rusty bucket bay and mad monster mansions puzzle #you cant break the gate for it if you raise the water level too high #also it took me until today to learn that CheatO's cheats are upgrades and not... cheats #fucked up. but i didnt have too much problems without it. <- he died to grunty once only cause he got knocked off the tower #anyway sorry for the strange photo quality. played on my n64 on an old crt ive had. and i only have a lamp on in my room.#its not as dark as it looks in the image atleast #i also learned that banjo kazooie has way more cheats than i ever knew about #before collecting all the stop n swop stuff. i gave myself the infinite air underwater cheat cause. god.#its so nice to swim around with any anxiety. mostly just used it to swim with clanker for a bit. :).#didnt need it for any other reasons. i done collected everything else girlies #though kid me used a lot of cheat codes in tooie. only because i had a magazine that had all the codes #i 100%'d that one a few years ago i think. jiggies atleast. i think.#anyway. :) clanker

I've been watching Idolish7 and though I suspect we'll probably get some sort of explanation of why Kujo the elder is literally insane, it's not gonna convince me of anything regarding him. I mean, even narratively speaking, the fact that the only two people who followed him were literal children driven to a desperate corner through family debts while every other adult (old Re:Vale, Sogo's uncle, and even probably Zero himself) refused him.....well. That says nothing good about the man no matter how tragic and desperate his reason is and someone please save Aya and Tenn or tell me they do or -
