Hey Knight I just had a great idea before I fell asleep

Another champion villain AU, but the Champions are all working for their regions Villain teams

Diantha working for Team Flare because she agrees that only the “worthy” people should live, people who do good for the world

Iris working for Team Plasma, either from the beginning or when they reestablished themselves in BW2. Idk why she’d join but she knows how to bring the power out of dragon Pokémon and how to control them, and one of Plamas goal is to capture the three dragons

Cynthia working for Team Galatic just for her own curiosity. She wants to see how far Cyrus is able to go, and maybe even gain control of the legendaries herself. Maybe the story of Volo has been passed down in her family and she wants to see if she’s able to complete what Volo wasn’t able to

And the other Champions joining their own villain teams, idk what Geeta would do considering there isn’t really a villain team, it’s just a group of kids who were bullied. Maybe she helped Turo and Sada with their research but she took it to far and brought dangerous Pokémon to the present time. Letting the Koridon/Miradon kill the professors so that she could take their research for herself

Ofc, Cynthia is a given considering her track record in our villain au hahah but that is interesting tho, if the story of Volo got passed down in their family, and they treat it like some cautionary tale, a warning yknow, Volo was a name in their family that none should ever speak out loud. But Cynthia, ever the curious child, wanted to know more. And learn she did. Found out what he really did, what he wanted to achieve, and he was close in accomplishing his goals. Yet he failed. Cynthia doesn't do failure, she's great w a lot of things, she prides herself w that, a lot of people look up to her. But she has to admit, it's rather boring lately, and then the story of Volo came across her mind again, and she wondered if she could do what he wanted to do. And she won't fail ofc.

She let Cyrus do all the work, tho she gave him what he needed to know abt the legendary Pokémon. They both knew that Cynthia shouldn't really ruin her image just yet, their plan would fail. So yeah the events of DPPt, up to the point of Giratina showing up. And everyone was at the edge yknow, they're waiting what would happen, then Cynthia steps in, catching Giratina's attention. Gira knew Cynthia was familiar, a spitting image of him, and there's a tug within him, in his already tainted heart, to bow his head, to submit to her commands.

Cynthia looked at Cyrus. The man was waiting for her to finalize their plan, everything was already in order, they have hold of the Lake Trio and even the Creation Trio. Cynthia smiled at him, but there was smth abt it that Cyrus did not like.

"a world devoid of spirit.. that sounds boring, don't you think?"

"what are you planning, Cynthia."

"well, a world without spirit, no one would have the energy to make ice cream, Cy. That's not the ideal world for me."

"what would be the ideal world for you then?"

Chuckling to herself, she was quite curious just how much Giratina would actually listen to her, without uttering a single command. She smiled at him, smiled at her childhood friend, oh, she will miss him, maybe, who knows. Then she smiled, "this." She snapped her fingers, and quicker than the light itself, one of Giratina's tendrils impaled Cyrus straight through his chest, killing him instantly. A few of the grunts screamed, the admins stood there, watching Cynthia in horror. Dialga and Palkia were struggling even more beneath the chains, how pitiful, but she can help them. As long as they'd follow her every word. She then turns to the admins, terrified, hands on the red capsules on their belts, but Cynthia laughs, "do you think that'd be wise?" They raised their hand in quiet surrender. This was easy. She never got how Volo failed.

Then w Leon, idk since I did have this au abt Sonia back then, it does have the same energy, anyways hahaha yeah yknow peeps looked down on Sonia, Leon did not like that. No one believes her abt Eternatus, abt how it was the (cause) of the Darkest Day, and he heard rumours how she was just trying so hard to impress people since she's filling in Prof Magnolia's shoes. Then he hears abt Rose and like all that energy for DMax or smth yeah, and ofc Leon believed Sonia, and he's gonna help her prove her theories are actually true. So he played along Rose's game. Let him summon Eternatus, and both of them are standing before it, w Rose letting Leon capture the legendary pkmn. Rose praised him for his good work as usual, but just as he was abt take the Master Ball from Leon, the champion merely looked at him, smiling, "thanks for your help, Chairman. But.. Sonia needs this more than you."

And before Rose could react, Leon's Charizard and Haxorus attacked him, feasting over his body. Leon just watched, uninterested abt the death of the man who helped him rise to fame. Instead he looked at the master ball in his hand, smiling to himself, "Sonia is so gonna love this!" Pls ur honour do you see my vision in them becoming villains together ik I said Leon is in a polycule but I'm also still fucking trash for lionheartshipping let me have this one small thing ncmxnx hahaha

Geeta tho like imagine tho after Sada and Turo's death, she took in Arven, telling the others that it's the least she could do as she was the one who was w Sada and Turo last, it's their final wish. Ofc it wasn't, but they all got convinced by it. And just cndmdn yo Geeta feeding Arven lies abt his parents. How they were the ones to bring dangerous Pokémon in their world, how they took it too far, how they took her studies abt it. And ofc, Arven believed all of it, he was so young, and his parents were always so focused on their studies more than him, but miss Geeta was w him now, and she's so much better, she gives him attention, she's always there for him. His parents didn't even listen to Geeta to stop, and it shows how they really didn't care abt him at all. Imagine how his encounter w his AI parents would be tho, if they actually tell the truth of what happened. Arven couldn't catch a break man bcmdnd hahaha

Fashion wise, what is your favorite historical period?

Hmmmm this is hard honestly, cause I can be convinced into any if I see enough pics/paintings tbh. I really like anything post ~1630s or so(I HATE THOSE RENNAISSANCE ERA PANTALOONS) Also oops idk much abt women's fashion bcs I like men's clothing a lot more ;;;; I love suits. love wearing suits. Yeah.

I feel very fond obviously of late 1600s-early 1700s obviously bcs of boy king au. I like how pre-19th century, men's and women's clothing feels pretty evenly matched(in terms of flamboyance and detail.) So much embroidery and ruffles and everything. And I really like breeches, how high waisted they are. I guess I really like the cut of the clothes. Also Napoleonic era, so important to me, I love how high waisted the breeches are, the stockings, the tailed coats, and everything yknow???

I also really like late 1800s-early 1900s as well, mostly bcs of Leyendecker's art. Like if you've seen Oppenheimer, the suits he wears before Los Alamos are soooo perfect to me. I really like how flattering they are to the body, small waist, long legs, broad shoulders aahhhh!!!

If only it were socially acceptable to wear suits all the time 🤧 I find modern fashion to be pretty boring, even if easier

now that dsmp season 1 has ended, are you gonna keep watching season 2?

ah i'm pretty sure the other members have more plot/lore/episodes planned before the end of volume 1, it's only wilbur's character's finale that's done. so there's still a bit of content planned for volume 1.

and to be honest, i probably won't keep up with volume 2. at least not in the way that i did for volume 1. regardless of criticisms people have about wilbur's finale, i think the fact that it Exists and was Released gave me the final bit of closure i needed to put the dsmp's content officially behind me. my life looks completely different now than it did two years ago, so i simply don't have the time or intense interest anymore. and i genuinely find it more fun to engage with the fan community we've built and the people i've met along the way than to spend hours and hours watching streams. im just here vibing in the garden i helped grow.

hope that's not too disappointing. tho i'm pretty sure no one here is following me for my dsmp content anyways loll

Do you ever feel sad when moots deactivate their acce/ disappear? Do you ever miss them or their stories

i do!—though i wouldn't necessarily say it's sadness that i'm feeling... more like, a bittersweet melancholy-ish emotion?

it's changed that i've become more of a writer than my previous years though, as now i really understand the urge/reasons for leaving cites + accounts, but still recognize each as a loss for all reasons (author and reader).

luckily, due to the format of tumblr (in terms of shorter things, at least), i'm a little less sad about the disappearance of specific works... however there's a few writers from my past (some not even fanfiction related) whose work i mourn OFTEN.

it really just depends on who or what has left, you know? thank you for asking, and wbu?!

Which elements do you think the Champions would bend if they were benders? Or do you think some would be born as non-benders?

No fr, Arven would probs go home to Geeta crying his heart out, almost yelling at her but at the same time he just wants to run to her and let her comfort him and tell him it's going to be okay. That she's the one telling the truth. Right? Yeah, of course, Geeta has been nothing but kind to him, and Geeta took care of him, and she's like a mom to him now yknow. Geeta taught him everything he knows, even supported him in his passion for cooking, and even got him to meet his friends. And he looks up to her, tears still in his eyes, his words were caught in his throat, but Geeta knew exactly what to say.

She pulls him close, gives him the comfort that he needs, and quietly says "your parents had always been so paranoid.. they didn't trust me nor any of our friends.. perhaps before they died, they created those versions of themselves, so if anyone were to find them, they could tell them what happened." Then she pulls away, looks at him straight in the eyes, "but what they told you were lies. Their pride wouldn't let them admit they're the ones in the wrong." And ofc Arven believed her, and ofc it broke him even more that even beyond the grave his parents never really cared for him. And he let Geeta hug him, and it reminded him of his first night staying w her

As for the other ask, ah, air earth fire and water?? Did I get that right? Hahah

I've heard there's like,, lightning and metal and such, but idk much abt it so I'm just sticking w the first four hahah

Lance - Fire. Like, idk, I was going for air bc yeah he's like a Flying type trainer more than a dragon, but he has that vibes that he would bend fire hahah

Steven - Earth. Idk it'd fit him maybe hahah like his interest in stones and such and bending the earth around him would make it easier for him to navigate in caves and such

Wallace - Water. I yeah this one's a given hahahah

Cynthia - Earth. Tho Air also works hahah. Earth for the same reason as Steven, since that would be handy for her exploring caves and ruins too, plus her ace Mon is half ground type. But air also kinda works mainly bc she gives off the vibes hahaha

Iris - Air. The,, vibes. Hahaha. Idk, like, the main charac, Aang, she has that vibes, so ofc me being me just goes "oh, yeah, he's like Iris" plus it'd be dope if she's the only air bender amongst them and no one could really teach her much abt her own nation's bending art or smth so whenever she air bends the way she moves are similar to the other nations bending style and such (pfft imagine if she's the avatar in this too hahah)

Diantha - Fire. Solely for the fact that in my hcs she's terrified of fire since ofc her skin got burnt, and in this she can control fire (tho I also wanna add she doesn't ever use?? It?? Like she doesn't ever fire bend much bc the last time she did she panicked and accidentally burnt someone else, since then she stopped and people believed she's a non bender)

Hau - Water. Again, the vibes, it'd be cool to see him water bend tho, like him and Iris just training w each other and teaching each other what they know while the others are busy, and if we do go w avatar Iris concept imagine if that's how Iris learned how to water bend, all thanks to Hau. Idk it'd be cute if these two bonded and such and water being the first other element Iris learns bc of him hahah

Leon - ouughhh Earth or Fire. But I'm leaning more towards Fire bc of Zard hahah. But I also wanna say he doesn't ever use it much like Dia too, bc he knows people are kinda afraid of fire benders

Geeta - Earth. Again it's the vibes cbdndn tho I also wanna say the doesn't ever use it much, no angsty reason, for her it's just tiring and it takes a lot outta her, she'd only ever earth bend if the situation calls for it, any other day she'd probs just fight enemies head on hahaha

ah yes!!! so i actually only use tumblr on a daily basis, believe it or not! tumblr is the only social media site that i check every day and that i regularly post to. i technically have a twitter account and have an instagram account, but i don’t post to either of them at all and only check them once or twice a week on average (usually to look for something specific ie leaks).

#instagram is something i could see myself using in the future but i just have literally nothing to post there atm #like i think it would be fun to have an instagram that works in conjunction with my blog but #currently i have no photos to post there!!! like as a writer i’d love to post desk tours and set up stuff etc #except i don’t have a desk right now LMAO #so maybe one day in the future when i finally have my own office space/writing studio #but for now there’s nothing there for me #and then twitter is just hell on earth like #i always leave that app feeling worse than when i opened it #everyone over there is chronically online and just ??????? very odd #it helps that none of my irl friends use social media for personal purposes as well #so none of us have like personal accounts yk??#and i stay far far faaaar away from my family on social media HAHAHA #blocked everyone i went to high school with pretty much exactly when i graduated high school so #there’s no temptation to go like check up on anyone; i also genuinely do not care what they’re doing so that helps as well #idk honestly i think it comes down to 1. having no desire to be on those sites/apps and 2. having extreme self control #any time i even think about just mindlessly scrolling my head goes ‘yeah but think of all the other more fun and more productive things you #could be doing that will make you feel 100 times better than being on either of those apps’#and then im like ur right brain!!!!! and then the desire is gone!!#so hopefully that makes sense?????#i think that the internet and social media can be extremely beneficial especially for artists of all mediums as well as those looking to #connect with certain communities or groups (whether that be activist groups or support groups or fandoms etc)#and i think that’s really incredible #BUT at the same time it’s a double-edged sword and it can be extremely detrimental and toxic to us and our health #especially with the (pseudo) anonymity the internet provides people with that just completely robs them of any empathy they might’ve had #and the comparison culture etc etc you know the list goes on forever #SO to me the best thing anyone can do is use the internet/social media with an intent and purpose in mind and STICK TO IT #so for example i use it to share my writing with others #that’s my focus; that’s my goal. i’ll share a few surface bits and pieces of my life with everyone here but my main focus is to share my #writing. so keeping that goal in mind helps to keep me from straying from it and spending too much time online #i’ve really rambled here ugh i hope this makes sense hehe i just woke up like an hour ago so i’m still 😴😴😴 hahaha

(1) That Pink Seashell spoken word thing actually opens the show

(2) Love from the Other Side: I assumed they'd play this first, and they did, and they looked very happy with the reception that it got

(3) The Phoenix

(4) Sugar, We're Goin Down: I overheard two guys when I was leaving saying, "I only came to this show for that Sugar song, and it was the third song they played," whatever to those two guys lol

(5) Uma Thurman

(6) A Litttle Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More Touch Me

(7) Chicago Is So Two Years Ago: I know they always play this song when they play Chicago but the way the show is set up, there's this spoken intro that references a light being left on in Chicago, and then they launch into this song, and so I feel like maybe it's permanently in the set list for this tour, we'll see.

(8) Grand Theft Autumn: Patrick told the story again of how he wrote the lyrics while jogging with Pete. Here is exactly what he said, because I recorded it, hahaha: "I wrote this song out here, jogging, trying to figure out the words. This was back when I wrote a lot of the words. And Pete was jogging with me and he was like, 'Eh, maybe change this, maybe change this.' Before we knew it he was writing all the lyrics." And then Pete said, "Imagine us jogging" lolololol

(10) This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race: They added a little Peterick-y moment in here? I don't remember them playing at each other during this song in previous performances? It was cute, it was during the instrumental part before Patrick leads the singalong, maybe I've just always missed it? They played it each other and kind of did some kind of kick thing with their legs??

(11) Disloyal Order of Water Buffaloes: Honestly, always a delight to hear this song, this is one of my favorites <3

(12) Heaven, Iowa: THIS SONG LIVE, I SWEAR

(13) "The Take Over, the Breaks Over": OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS SONG AND I TOTALLY DIDN'T EXPECT THEM TO PLAY IT, I WAS SO HAPPY

(14) Headfirst Slide into Cooperstown on a Bad Bet: <3 Guess they got over being scared of playing this one lol

(15) Fake Out: I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW EXCITED I WAS THAT THEY PLAYED THIS ONE OMGGGGGGG. Also, there was some plan I wasn't aware of to, like, hold up cell phones with pink paper over the lights so the crowd lit up pink???? I have no idea who engineered that but it was CHARMING and at the end of the song Pete said, "Thanks for that, guys, that was beautiful," and the stage was on darkness so it seemed absolutely spontaneous on his part and I think they really did like the effect, so, Idk, future shows, keep doing it????

(16) Patrick did some kind of piano interlude where he played "Don't Stop Believin'"????? It was random but he was super charming, I think the rest of the band used it as a break, it was just SO GREAT. Part of his intro was: "Pete was putting together this show and he said to me, 'Hey, you should play piano.' And I was like, 'I kinda only play songs I wrote. I don't really play piano. I don't know how to play piano.' And he's like, 'Eh, you'll figure it out.'" And then Patrick sat down and played gorgeous piano ugh THANKS, PETE.

(17) Last of the Real Ones: I am glad Mania got some love.

(19) PETE RECITED BABY ANNIHILATION WHAT. I SWEAR TO GOD. I SO DID NOT EXPECT THIS AND I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE THAT IT HAPPENED. If you're going to the show, pay attention, because I looked away and apparently there's, like, a magic trick at the end of the monologue where he disappears behind a piece of black silk?????

(20) Crazy Train cover: I...don't know what to say about this randomness hahaha but it happened??

The show ends with a little piano version of So Much (for) Stardust played over the sound system, so pay attention for that.

The set is super Alice in Wonderland-y and I adored it, it's playful and fantastical and has all these whimsical touches and interludes and I just thought it was delightful and at one point there were bubbles, and I heard some people complaining after the concert that the fantasy thing didn't suit their style of music and really, I was surrounded by downers after the concert, I thought they were perfect hahaha. Like, ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. They looked so, so, so tangibly happy, all of them. Patrick sounded fantastic and he looked like he was having a blast, he smiled the whole time.

I have a lot of videos but they seem like they're all pretty terrible, but I'll see how I feel in the morning lol
