Mafia crime family. It might be big deal to others but to you it was your whole life. You just became more prominent in your mafia family due to some life changes. You just told your father you were ready for some more solo missions, finally being confident enough to handle yourself. He sent you to Riverdale definitely not what you were expecting considering you grew up in New York so the culture change of a small town hit you like a truck. But when he told you it was a favor to Hiram Lodge it made a lot more sense to you. The Lodge family has always been close to yours. Your dad and Hiram have been best friends since college so naturally you were a lot more happy to be of help to him. You pulled up to the Lodge residence and tipped the driver. You knocked on the door and it opened revealing Hiram Lodge.

“Y/N your here. Thank you for coming all this way. I don’t think we could have anyone better that we could trust.” Hiram said, stepping aside letting you in.

“Of course anything for the Lodges. My father sends his regards. If you don’t mind me asking why did you need my help? My impression was that you held down your fort pretty well here.” You asked and he sighed and shook his head.

“Well you see there are a pretty dangerous gang around here the serpents. We could use the extra protection for my family and I heard you’ve become quite the unit back at home. I just want to make sure that we’re safe here.” Hiram said pouring a drink for himself.

“I see well I’ll definitely be of help to you Hiram. What would you like me to do first?” You ask as he takes a sip of his drink.

“I was thinking you stick around my wife first.” He said and your eyes go wide slightly.

Flash back from a couple months ago

“Oh yes Y/N just like that baby.” Hermione moans on top of you digging her nails into your skin.

“Let it all out for me darling.” You said helping her go faster making her finish on top of you. You wrapped your arms around her waist helping her down. You laid back down and Hermione settled herself on your chest.

“So when do you have to leave again?” You ask and she groans.

“You always find a way to ruin the moment don't you.” She says sitting up grabbing the top sheet to cover her chest.

“Well you knew it was coming eventually. I just don’t understand why you can’t just divorce Hiram already. You’ve come to see me at least a dozen times already, you can’t tell me you don’t feel what I feel every time you're here.” She sighs and gets up grabbing her dress that was discarded on the floor of the hotel room.

“It’s not that easy Y/N. I can’t just leave him like that it’s hard getting away from him. Beside I still have Veronica to think of here.” You stand up, taking off your strap and put on your boxers.

“Your daughter is a teenager now I’m sure see can see right through the charade your putting on for her. As for Hiram I know it’s hard but I’ll be there for you every step of the way.” You stand behind her helping her zip up her dress. She turns her head slightly looking you in the eyes. Hermione turns around in your hold and pulls you down to kiss her. She pulls away first letting her lips linger on yours.

“It’s just not the right time.” Heriome says leaning her forehead against yours.

Back to the present

“Are you alright Y/N?” Hiram says as you got out of your trance.

“Yeah I’m fine. Just zoned out for a second. So you were saying?” You asked stuffing your hands in your pockets.

“As I was saying you’ll just be following her around on her day to day activities. Also I found a great place for you to stay for awhile it’s just down the street. Hermione will show you the place today. I hope the accommodations will be alright.” He says and you nod along.

“Oh also I didn’t tell Hermione it was you that would be coming. I thought it might be a nice surprise since I remember you two were getting along quite well at the last gathering.” Hiram said walking out the room gesturing to you to follow him. As if right on queue Hermione enters the room, her eyes find yours and she freezes.

“Hermione this is the bodyguard I hired for us. You’ll show him that place we bought for him before you go about the rest of your plans for today.” Hiram says and you walk towards Hermione.

“S-sure Hiram I’ll do that. Let’s go now please we have a lot to do today.” She says grabbing your arm and walking you towards the door. The car ride to your temporary residence was silent, it wasn’t until you got through the door of the apartment that she spoke again.

“What were you thinking coming here?” She yelled slightly.

“Look I thought Hiram just wanted me to help him with a few things I didn’t think I would have to tag along with you everywhere. Come on Hermione you can’t tell me your not at least a little happy to see me.” You said and she sighed wrapping her arms around your neck.

“Well I didn’t exactly say that.” She said leaning in to kiss you.

Over the next few weeks you did as you were told to do. You ended up helping Veronica out as well for a bit but you were mostly around Hermione. You ended up running errands with her and doing some other stuff with her. You finally got a couple days off to yourself. You decide to finally clean up your place a bit since you've been neglecting it for awhile. It took you all day but your place was spotless then you heard a knock at your door. Looking through the peephole you saw Hermione standing at the door. You opened the door instantly and what you saw made your stomach churn. She was crying and a very prominent hand print was embedded on her face. You gritted your teeth but you snapped out of it when you felt her hug you. You wrapped your arms around her. After what felt like forever she finally said something.

“H-he hit me.” She said, confirming your fear. You thought she was safe. You never thought he would do such a malicious thing to her.

“I’m sorry. Can you tell me what happened so I know what I can do next?” You asked and she nodded slowly.

“He got Archie arrested and framed him for murder and when I confronted him about it he lashed out. The next thing I knew his hand was already there slapping me for questioning him.” Hermione said, sobbing into your shoulder. You walked her over to the couch sitting her down so she could be more comfortable. After a couple hour of cuddling on the couch she settled down enough.

“I’m leaving him Y/N. I should’ve realized it sooner but I want to be with you. Everytime we’re not together I miss you you’ve always made me feel safe and I just want you. I love you Y/N.” She said and you smiled at her words.

“I love you too Hermione and I will help you through all of this I promise. I’m here for you.”

Traveling back in time wasn't the weirdest thing that happened in Riverdale, but it was strange to see Archie's dad and Y/N's mom as teenagers. It was even worse seeing them make-out with each other as Archie and Y/N tried not to blush.

"Damn, Y/N. Your mom is hot." Archie grinned as Y/N gave him a disgusted look before he looked at a young Fred Andrews and smiled.

"And your dad is a sexy stud muffin."

"Mi amor."

Hiram purred into my ear to wake me up. Which worked, I rolled over and snuggled into his arms.

"Buen día, mi amor."

I spoke into his chest.

"Did Ronnie wake up yet?"

"He did, and I warmed the bottle as you told me to. He even burped when you said he would."

Hiram chuckled as he recalled his early morning.

"Did you go for your run yet?"

"No. It was still early, and you looked so lonely."

He pulled me closer to him, putting his head in my neck. I hum and held his arms as my back was to his chest.

"How about you get ready for your run? There will be food ready for you when you get back."

Hiram responded first with a big kiss on my cheek.

"That sounds like a deal. Mi angel eres demasiado buena para mi."

He kisses me again but on my lips. He's out of bed pretty fast, the morning person he is. I roll over and try to wipe the sleep away from my eyes.

I was feeding Ronnie from my breast at Hiram's insistence. He said he didn't want me to change anything from my routine without him. Just that he wanted to be involved. It was sweet, but I was still uneasy about it since Veronica decided to have breakfast with us. Once I had finished feeding my baby, Hermine came in the apartment. We both greeted each other kindly, but her face remained stern. Since my being here, her and Hiram have been cross with each other. Me and V look at one another, knowing what was going to happen. She looks at her phone, texting someone before getting up to leave for school.

"Adios mi guapo mini yo."

She mumbled to Ronnie and kissed his head. She says bye to her mom and dad before completely leaving the home. With Ronnie asleep, it was easy to hear the private conversation between the married couple.

"You are not taking this seriously."

"I am taking this seriously. My priorities haven't changed, Hermine."

His wife sighs as he doesn't let her talk again. Instead, he gets up and greets his sleeping son. He kisses me on my forehead before mumbling his words.

"Como esta mi hombrecito guapo?"

"Él lo está haciendo bien. Comió bien así que estará durmiendo un rato."

I whisper back to him. He responds with a smile and kisses my lips.

"Volveré más tarde, no me esperes."

"Por supuesto mi amor."

He mumbles a bye to his son before giving him another kiss. He leaves behind Hermine after his goodbyes with a wave.

"I don't blame you, Anna."

Hermine spoke first. I looked up at her, shocked.

"I took him away from you. I gave him a new family to focus on. You should hate me."

I state sadly as I adjust Ronnie in my arms. When I first met Hiram, I didn't know about his family, but it didn't stop me when I found out either. It was impossible to leave him, especially when I found out I was having Ronnie.

"You would not be asking me to hate you if you did all that on purpose. I blame Hiram for putting you and your little boy in this mess."

She steps close and touches Ronnie's head softly. She smiled at him

"He looks just like Veronica did."

We both smile at the thought of our babies.

I was sitting on the picnic blanket Veronica bought for today. She had insisted on getting one that was perfect for Ronnie. I was bouncing my baby boy while Hermine made faces at him. V had found her friends and they decided to walk around the park and talk. There was some press conference being held by the mayor that Hiram wanted us all to be there for, so here we are.

"He looks very cute in this jacket."

"I know right! One of Veronica's friends got it for him. They said he needed to 'represent'."

I giggle with Hermine. I hear feet crunching on some dead leaves, looking up I expect Hiram but instead a find a man. An older handsome man. I could feel my jaw hang open before muttering a pathetic hello. He smiles back at me and shyly waves.

"Did you need something?"

Hermine asked giving him her business voice. The man doesn't look at her as he responds.

"No, no just checking out the little guys outfit. He looks mighty handsome."

He pointed out my baby's jacket. I blush under his gaze. He had a handsome smile.

"Thank you, it was a gift actually."

"Awe shoot, this the little man Jughead was talking about. Now I'm thinking I should have asked more questions about mama."

The way he said 'mama' sent shivers up and down my spine, the same way when Hiram calls me 'Angel'. My cheeks heat up as he kneels down getting a better look at my baby.

"They sure are cute when their this small."

"You mentioned, Jughead. Is he, is he your son?"

God help me if I find another gather attractive. The man smile a proud smile that I see on Hiram's when he talks about his children.

"Yes, Jughead is my boy. If you couldn't tell by our dashing good looks."

He jokes making me laugh. My laugh triggers Ronnie's giggles.

"I see little man takes after mama."

I open my eyes after laughing to see his eyes on me and that dashing smirk that never leaves his face.

"I'm FP by the way."

"I'm Anna."

I smile as he doesn't reach out his hand asking for a handshake, like he knew I didn't like them. Harmine typed something on her phone and signaled she needed to go somewhere.

"I'll be fine."

I reassured her. She was hesitant, but one look at her phone reminded her how important what she needed to do was. Once she was away FP scooted onto the blanket next to me, pulling some leaves with him. Ronnie giggles at the crunching of the dead leaves.

"So, how do you know the Lodge's?"

I laugh as I was answering his question.

"I could ask you the same."

"You got me. We meet through very short business dealings."

I wince at his answer. With I sigh I bring the attention back on me and his original question.

"I don't know how to answer you question. It's,..."

"Complicated."

I smile and nodd at him, his eyes looking right back at me. I stared back at him enjoying his eyes on me.

"I'd imagine things get complicated around you."

I playfully scoff making Ronnie laugh.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

FP looks at Ronnie as if they were having a conversation but still talking to me.

"She knows what I'm talking about. Having a mama this hot draws a lot of attention I bet. Especially if she has you around."

I blush hard at his words.

"Awe, I made mama blush."

Ronnie giggles as he talks to FP. The man smiles enjoying the time with the baby. It made my stomach flutter. Until someone cleared their throat. We both look away from each other and Ronnie to look at who was wanting our attention. My smile falls when I see Hiram.

"Evening Lodge, how's the wife. Saw her earlier but business never stops for you guys."

FP laughs at his own joke. Hiram doesn't react. He just stares down FP like he was putting me in danger. I hadn't seen Hiram stare at someone like this since I was pregnant with Ronnie.

"Anna querida, la mía estaba buscando. Algo sobre un regalo para Ronnie."

"Oh, le encantará, estoy seguro. ¿No lo harás, muchacho?"

I speak to my baby making him laugh. I look up and find FP's eyes again.

"Creo que deberías acudir a ella en realidad. Estire las piernas."

My smile falters a little. He wasn't asking a question. But my smile picks up again. He probably just wants to go home he doesn't like being out of he can't dote on Ronnie the whole time. I gather Ronnie's things with him on my side.

"It was nice meeting you, FP."

"Nice meeting you too, doll face."

The nickname made me stutter and drop Ronnie's chupete. FP picked it up for me with that charming smirk of his.

"Gracias."

As I stand up I give him a wave and even make Ronnie wave bye. FP laughed and waved back. I smile and carry Ronnie to were Hiram gestured Veronica was waiting for me. Hiram never looked at me only FP. I felt bad that he was so irritated. Maybe I should have stayed home.

Prologue Chapter 01 Chapter 02 Chapter 03 Chapter 05 Synopsis: You have an unfortunate encounter with Truck-kun which leads you to wake up in the HXH universe.

It was currently 3 pm, and you had three hours to get to the restaurant. After quickly looking up the restaurant you found that it was fairly close. Which meant you had plenty of time to go dress shopping. After another search, you found the address of a clothing store that sold just what you were looking for.

it took you around fifteen minutes to get there on foot. The saleslady greeted you with an eager smile. For a second you thought she would ignore you because you weren't dressed for a store as fancy as this one. But apparently, she didn't care. She was as friendly as any good salesperson would be.

"Good afternoon, Ma'am. How can I help you?" she asked as she approached you. Her uniform made her look like a flight attendant but it fit her well.

"I have a… well a date tonight at the Catch 44 and I was looking to buy an outfit. A complete outfit. Dress, shoes, accessories, everything really," you told her. Nothing you were currently wearing would fit the dress code of the restaurant.

"In that case, you're at the right address, follow me please," she said. When you followed her you could read the name on her nametag. It read Hermione. She certainly didn't look like a Hermione Granger, more of a Hermione Lodge. Elegant and beautiful, making you feel a bit out of place with your shirt, jeans, and sneakers.

Since you had never been to a restaurant this fancy before you decided to let Hermione take the lead. Letting her decide on the dress, shoes, necklace, and purse.

That turned out to be the right decision. The black dress hugged you just the right way to show off your curves. It was a floor-length dress that completely covered your shoes. Making you wonder if you could just wear your own sneakers, but the suggestion made Hermione frown and you decided against it.

The purse was simple but elegant, and so were your necklace and earrings. They were all completely useless but you wanted to look like you belonged.

The only problem now was your hair and make-up. Luckily Hermione knew just the place. After you paid for everything she handed you a business card to a nearby beauty salon. Giving that card would also give you a 5 percent discount, not that you needed it of course.

Since it was only 4 pm now you decided to walk to the beauty salon. Wondering where in the plot of Hunter x Hunter you currently were. The troupe was already in York New and since Shalnark was free to take you out on a date you doubted their plan has started yet.

Which made you wonder if Shalnark was the only spider in town. Maybe you ended up way earlier than the start of Hunter x Hunter. Or perhaps the plot would never happen.

Feeling a headache come up from overthinking you push those thoughts away. You had to focus on survival for now. It might be a simple date, but it was a date with a spider.

A spider with the ability to control your every move if he so wishes. All by sticking an antenna in someone.

Wait…

That made you realize something. You turned on godmode. Nothing should be able to damage you. Perhaps his antenna wouldn't be able to pierce your skin now?

That thought comforted you but you hoped it wouldn't get that far. Right now you decided to focus on getting ready for your date.

Your appointment at the beauty salon was very uneventful. They did your hair and make-up. Luckily they allowed you to change into your dress first so changing clothes wouldn't mess up their work. By the time you were done, it was already 5 pm.

That left you with one hour to kill. Which was the perfect time to learn more about your abilities. You found a remote area with nobody around. It was an abandoned complex. The perfect place to practice your spells.

You started simple by practicing the spell invisibility. You were amazed at how quickly you disappeared. It seemed to stay on until you manually turned it off. Which was good to know. You weren't the best at holding your breath so you were glad that wasn't a requirement to stay invisible.

Next, you tried out telekinesis. Unfortunately, there wasn't a lot around. But the few pieces of abandoned furniture were easy for you to lift with the spell. You didn't feel a thing. You wondered how much you could really lift up.

Using the spell that let you conjure a sword for 2 minutes worked flawlessly as well. For as long as it stayed you swung the sword around like a fool. It wasn't useful to you now, but it was nice to see that it worked.

The spell incinerate was unfortunately still too risky to test indoors. So was the spell Flame Thrall. But it didn't matter anyways. Your time was up. You had to leave right now if you wanted to arrive on time for your little date with Shalnark.

With a sigh, you left the comfort of the abandoned building and made your way back to the city. You took a taxi that drove you to the restaurant. You were lucky you left when you did because you arrived with only five minutes to spare.

When you stepped out of the taxi your eyes almost immediately met Shalnark's. The man always had a smile on his face but when he saw you his smile turned a little too eager for your liking. Perhaps you overdid it with your clothes and make-up? But looking at the other patrons of the restaurant made you not look out of place.

Slowly you made your way to Shalnark. Both because of your heels and the fact that you didn't really want to join him anyways.

"I'm glad you made it, Y/N," Shalnark smiled at you. Holding out his arm for you to hold onto. Seeing as every other couple was pretty much doing the same thing you sighed before holding onto him.

It wasn't too bad, it prevented you from tripping with these high heels.

Ever the perfect gentleman Shalnark pulled out your chair for you. When he sat down in front of you you noticed that he was pretty much dressed the same way when he was disguised as the mafia. Minus the sunglasses.

For a moment neither of you said anything, allowing you to read his mind through the subtitles. His thoughts were surprisingly sweet for a spider.

She looks so pretty. I never thought I could get envy a dress. I can't wait to get that thing off of her!

Wait… What? You reread the last sentence until it disappeared. You were sure your face was as red as a tomato now. Not wanting to read his mind any further you looked away. Hoping he didn't notice how you suddenly got incredibly nervous

"So how was your day?" Shalnark asked to break the ice.

"It was alright until you showed up," you replied with pursed lips. Deciding to not hold back your animosity towards him, it was a good distraction from his thoughts. Not looking at him since you didn't want to risk catching a glimpse of his thoughts again.

But it seemed like Shalnark didn't care. He just laughed. "That's not very nice, Y/N. Do you know how hard it is to get a reservation here?" he asked, it almost sounded like he was pouting. But you weren't going to look at him to confirm that.

"Maybe for a regular person. But it must be a piece of cake for a hunter. I'm sure all you had to do was flash your license at them to get yourself a table booked," you said as you looked around the restaurant. Wondering when the waiter would arrive. You could use a drink or two right about now.

The silence that followed was what made you finally look at Shalnark. Who was staring at you with the same smile he wore when he saw you exit the taxi. Realizing your mouth ran away from you yet again you stared back at him with a wide-eyed panicked look.

"Have we met before? You certainly seem to know a lot about me, yet all I know about you is your name."

"No, we haven't." You tried to think of the right words to say. Would it be better or worse if you told him you know he's part of the phantom troupe? You even knew his number.

As you got lost in your thought you suddenly noticed something in your vision that you hadn't noticed before. Besides your health bar, which was permanently in the green thanks to putting on godmode, you also had a level counter. Currently, you were on level 1. Which made you wonder how you could possibly level up.

"Y/N!"

This time you did look up in time to see him pout at you. It would've been cute, scratch that, it was still cute. But you weren't going to fall for his boyish charm.

"It's not very polite to daydream during a date," he said, his tone of voice making it sound as if he was scolding you. Making you frown. What made you frown even more was when a waiter set down a glass of wine in front of you.

The waiter did the same for Shalnark and you raised an eyebrow at the blonde, hoping he would explain himself.

Unfortunately, he didn't. He just picked up his glass and raised it toward you. Since you were immune to damage now you decided to let loose and picked up your own glass. Quickly you raised it towards him before you took a sip.

When you did you suddenly got a popup over your health bar.

Warning: poison nullified.

For a second you were worried that Shalnark poisoned you. But then you remembered that technically alcohol was poison on its own. From his lack of reaction he just ordered a glass of wine for you. Nothing suspicious at all.

The only downside about this was that it meant you couldn't get drunk. Not that getting drunk around a spider who seemed oddly fascinated by you would be a wise idea, but now you didn't even get the option to. Not without making yourself more vulnerable than you had to be at least.

Feeling frustrated you shot back your wine as if it was a shot. Making Shalnark's smile drop for a moment before he picked it up again.

"Whoa there cowboy, no need to go so fast. The night's still young. We have the whole evening to get drunk if you're so eager," he smiled at you.

You just proceeded to put your now empty wine glass down. Looking around, hoping that keeping quiet would prevent him from finding something else interesting about you.

That was the idea. But the moment you spotted him you couldn't help but ask.

"What's Phinks doing here?" You asked, panic clear in your voice. Where the other spiders here as well? But why? While it was true that he knew nothing about you why did he feel the need to bring backup? You were clearly not a nen user so beating you if necessary wouldn't be a problem for the manipulator.

Your little outburst was met with an eager smile.

"Why don't you tell me a little bit about yourself?" Shalnark asked, brushing off your question with a question of his own.

His nonchalant way of ignoring your question made you frown at him. He, infuriatingly enough, responded with a laugh.

"You know so much about me, don't you? You know that I'm a hunter, you know that I'm part of the phantom troupe," Shalnark paused for a moment to see your reaction. When you didn't react as if this was all new to you he continued talking. "You know Phinks. But yet I know nothing about you. And dates are for getting to know one another right?"

His smile managed to widen and you were wondering if his cheeks ever hurt from smiling so much.

"So, let's get to know each other, Y/N."

Hermione sighed, going through her bag as she looked for her phone. She got to the front door and frowned, seeing it cracked open. She pushed it open, seeing a young man inside. The young man turned, looking at her and Hermione could feel her heart stop.

"William?" She asked softly. No, William would've been her age by now unless he was a vampire. The man looked away from her, head shaking. Hermione's hand went to her stomach.

"(Y/N)?" She whispered the name so softly, she barely heard it herself. The man hummed softly.

"You remember, huh?" (Y/N) cocked a brow, biting his lip. Hermione stepped forward, gently placing her bag nearby.

"Of course I remember.. How could I forget?" Hermione stared at him, gaze soft. She feared if she moved to fast, he would disappear.

"Seems like you forgot the moment you met that rich dickhead." (Y/N) looked at her. Hermione shook her head.

"You're my son.. My firstborn, I could never forget you." Hermione took another step towards him.

"You can't expect me to believe that. You had all this time to get in touch but instead you were living it up in money. Why would you need to remember a mistake?" (Y/N) looked at her, eyes narrowing.

"Is that what your father told you? That I thought you were a mistake?" Hermione asked. She wouldn't be surprised. After all, she had shoved the baby into his arms and left him to be with Hiram.

"No, surprisingly. He should've but instead he spoke of you as if you were a saint." (Y/N) shrugged lightly. "Don't know why."

"How is he?" Hermione turned her gaze onto the floor.

"Dead and buried." Her gaze snapped up, staring at him with wide eyes.

"Cancer. He was gone within months." (Y/N) shrugged lightly. Hermione's mouth went dry.

"When did... When did he pass? Have you been alone?" Hermione asked. (Y/N) rolled his eyes.

"You would've known if you bothered to be a mother." (Y/N) mumbled, tone cold and unbothered. "Three months." He answered, watching her. Hermione swallowed.

"I didn't know where you and your father were, (Y/N)." Hermione said, looking at her bag.

"I could give you money. Better yet, you can stay in the guest room." Hermione smiled, walking towards him. (Y/N) shook his head.

"Don't try acting like a saint. You know damn well a fucking google search would've given you the information you needed." (Y/N) glared at her. "I don't need your money and I don't need your help." He added.

"Did you find me through google?" Hermione asked, staring up at him. He was tall. Her baby was a young man. (Y/N) scoffed, moving around her and walking to the front door.

"Ask your daughter." He said, leaving the apartment. Hermione stared at the spot he once stood in. William was dead and her son hated her. Hermione took a seat on the couch, reaching over and grabbing a cup and a wine bottle. She poured some of the wine into the cup, putting it down and reaching into her bag. She pulled out her phone, going on face book and searching up 'William (L/N)'. She clicked on his profile and sighed softly, scrolling through. (Y/N) looked exactly like his father. Some of the post made her smile, looking over the captions. William clearly loved his son. She noticed he had tagged (Y/N) in one of his posts and clicked on the profile, seeing that Veronica followed him.

"Ronnie.. What the hell are you up to?" Hermione mumbled, scrolling through his page. Pictures of him and his dad were the first to pop up followed by pictures of him and friends. (Y/N) definitely followed in his father's footsteps when it came to fashion. Hermione blinked as she felt something rolling down her cheek. She brought the cup up to her lips and took a sip, wondering what her life would've been like if she had cared more about (Y/N).

Veronica entered the apartment, getting off the phone with Archie. She slid her phone into her bag, glancing around. Veronica spotted Hermione on the couch and frowned.

"Mom?" She approached her, sitting down beside her and reaching out to place a hand on her shoulder. Hermione sighed, putting her cup down and looking at Veronica.

"How do you know (Y/N)?" She asked, voice gruff from crying. Veronica blinked and smiled, standing up.

"He's here? Where?" Veronica asked. Hermione shook her head, grabbing her daughter's hand.

"He walked out after we talked.. He's a replica of his father." Hermione mumbled. "How do you know him, Mija?"

"Kevin and I were going through Sheriff Keller's old yearbook and in one of the pictures, we saw you and some guy. You two looked so happy.. I had to look him up. I did some research, found his facebook, saw that he had a son.. I had a gut feeling. I followed it and messaged him." Veronica explained as she sat down. Hermione looked at the fireplace.

"Women are always right about their gut feelings." Hermione mumbled.

"William and I were high school sweethearts. He was a bad boy, hung out with Fp and Fred.. He was every girl's dream. We dated in secret for a while until I got pregnant. My aunt came to the rescue during the final stages of the pregnancy so I wouldn't have to tell my parents. (Y/N) came out kicking and screaming but he calmed down in a second when William first held him. He was precious and healthy.. I wanted to keep him but I couldn't." Hermione sighed, looking at her daughter. Veronica frowned.

"You two need to sit down and talk properly." Veronica said. Hermione rubbed her forehead, shrugging. They looked at the door when Hiram entered. He cocked a brow upon seeing them but didn't question it.

"Are we having dinner?" He asked. Hermione and Veronica stood, heading to the dining table.

Veronica nervously sipped on her milkshake, drumming her nails against the table. She looked up when the bell rang, signaling someone had entered the diner. Veronica smiled and smoothed out her skirt, making eye contact with (Y/N). The male walked over to the booth, blinking when she stood and gave him a hug.

"It's great to see you in person." Veronica said, beaming. (Y/N) chuckled, patting her head. "Same here." He gave a smile. They sat down, (Y/N) ordering something. Veronica sighed.

"Mom told me you payed her a visit yesterday." Veronica said, watching her brother.

"Yeah, wanted to see how lavish her life is." (Y/N) said.

"We were broke for some time-"

"For some time. Some people are broke for years, maybe their whole lives." (Y/N) stared at her, shaking his head.

"You've gotten who knows how many gifts in your life from her while I've gotten none." (Y/N) stared at her. "And it's not as if she didn't know I existed. The least she could've done was send a card." Veronica sighed, staying quiet.

"Are you willing to give her a second chance?" Veronica asked. (Y/N) stared at the table in front of him, arms tightly crossed. He sighed softly.

"Yeah.. But if she fucks up, she'll never see or hear from me until someone tells her that I'm six feet under."
