Ta!Ash and Burnet’s relationship is exactly the Little Brother and Girlfriend to the Older Brother absolutely vibing hard. Like their platonic soulmates and Kukui only fucking hates it because he hears shit like very hard core party music blasting on full volume from Burnets tiny crappy Bluetooth speaker she’s had since college while the two clean around the house on his two days off.

The only reason while Burnet is up up is because Burnet cleans the house at exactly at 7:30 AM when the sun is finally up but it’s not to late in the day either. Even if all three went out binged drinking yesterday night after school, it’s not gonna fucking matter. Burnet is up and out of bed, leaving Kukui to be alone for all of 10 minutes before she wakes Ash up and the two start dancing. Only then-and only then-will Pikachu, Litten-the whole gang will come into the bedroom. And either hide under the bed or pile on top of Kukui. He’s fucking suffocating.

The only reason why Ash is up is because the kids always pull at least one free day out of his weekend. They somehow fucking succeed every damn time and Ash will always moan and groan about going. But “He has too because they need someone to protect them since their so stupid-“ and so on. It’s so dumb and it’s not hard to tell the kids fucking no once in a while, it’s not like Ash can’t do it. He’s done it a million times with other things. He’s such an pretentious little asshole. Ash uses the music to hype himself and drink to much coffee until it bypasses his ADHD brain and actually starts making him hyper. His aura eats his energy up so much and Kukui only knows that is because of Ash’s non stop pilfering through their snacks. Like the fucking gremlin that he is.

The only reason why their up at 7:30AM on Sunday is that Burnets still not done cleaning-the house to be messy since they work so much and it literally looks like a fucking frat house by every Friday-and Ash is ever the mama’s boy. Burnet calls his name once in a warning tone and he’s shot across the house to do what ever he fucked up. If Kukui does it Ash will flip him off and of course he does it back, it’s become their thing of some kind and it always makes Burnet smile so Kukui is fine with it-as long as it’s not in front of the kids. Ash also bakes some bomb ass shit or has some kind of treat from all the little bakery’s he goes to for munchies in the morning during his early ass morning walks with his Pokémon when no one but Kiawe and his family along with other farmers are up… and bakery’s.

At least Kukui gets uderly spoiled by a happy Burnet who’s exhausted and mentally happy while also dressed in his boxers and shirt hanging off her frame and nothing else with a plate full of good shit more often then naught with a fresh cup of coffee just how he likes it. Of course Ash is out of the house and is either training, reading, or sleeping on the couch or in the hammock a few yards off from them so it gives Kukui and Burnet much needed privacy for some more… spicy moments.

Candid is a major NPC from a game of Blades in the Dark that's been running for nearly two years now. He's a former rich heir to an ancient family who ran away from home a gave up his name to a Nameless trickster god, becoming her Paladin in the process. While fighting a war along side a collection of other Paladins, he was put in a stasis where he mysteriously wound up being torn to pieces. One of these pieces was eventually found by a man named Dante, who attuned to Candid and wound up metaphysically attaching them together. They eventually fell in love across this connection and, when Candid was nearly killed, Dante to instead managed to turn Candid into a god himself. He's now the god of broken things who's domain is centered around ideas of imperfections being beautiful and that healing doesn't always mean returning to your former state. But also he's a huge dork with rampant adhd and a tendency for mischief.

Candid is a trans man in his early 30s with wavy dark purple hair, light purple eyes, and a body full of freckles. He's average sized and dresses like someone way too into Final Fantasy/Dragon Age/Star Wars. He carries himself very casually and doesn't know how chairs work. While he typically forgoes a prosthetic, he does have a divine relic name Dolos that sometimes functions as one made from a rare substance called eider scales.

New OCs/AU based off the comments of this post.

The Season Moons! They’re best friends and come from the same PizzaPlex and are all celestials, but are not siblings, as they were assigned to different areas and never saw each other as siblings.

Apollo (Sun) and Daphne (Moon) aren’t related in this PizzaPlex. They were made separate and instead made as a couple rather than siblings and eventually they get married. Apollo protected Daphne during the fire and got the majority of the injuries of the two daycare attendants. Daphne had to get Apollo out of the daycare and the PizzaPlex before they got hurt more.

Daphne lost her right arm in this process but she does manage to get them to Spring Moon, who gets them out of the PizzaPlex. Daphne gets sent to a PizzaPlex in Florida, Apollo in a PizzaPlex in California, and Spring Moon gets sent to a Texas PizzaPlex

Spring Moon, the only girl, is a big buff tough lady. She’s a fighter and she has a protection code. She was the daycare security of her own daycare before the fire happened and the PizzaPlex got shut down. Her daycare coworkers, Apollo and Daphne, are her best friends. Unfortunately, they both got moved to different PizzaPlexes across the country from each other and Spring.

Summer Moon is a little fraidy cat. He used to work on the maintenance team before the fire destroyed the PizzaPlex. He was unfortunately still in Parts and Service during the fire and was unable to escape. He got major damage from this and had to be fixed before being relocated to a different PizzaPlex in New York.

Autumn Moon is a quiet bot. They’re quite a tired person and they used to work in the West Arcade with DJ Music Man as his assistant. Autumn was protected by DJ Music Man during the fire and DJ got him out and took all the damage for them in the process of getting them out, which unfortunately ended up killing DJ by the time he got Autumn out of the PizzaPlex. Autumn got relocated to the Colorado PizzaPlex after the fire.

Winter Moon is a little gremlin. He loves causing chaos and pulling pranks. Winter worked with the Glamrocks, who all unfortunately didn’t make it out of the fire, as the lead vocalist in place of Freddy, who is their guitarist. Winter made it out by sheer force of the Glamrocks, who all were trying to get to the exit.

His Monty died after getting Winter out of his room, Freddy died trying to find everyone, Chica had gone back for Summer Moon and died on the way, Roxy shoved him out of the fire escape just seconds before the building collapsed, which ended up saving him but killing her. Winter gets moved to Sun and Moon’s PizzaPlex.

Blood Moon finds Winter and is immediately a simp for Winter and his pretty voice and eventually comes to date him. Once Summer Moon is fixed, he gets relocated again to Sun and Moon’s PizzaPlex, who needed a competent maintenance person. Blood Moon absolutely adores him and simps over Summer as well, which eventually leads to him and Winter dating Summer once they get to know him better.

Harvest Moon simps over Spring and Autumn once they get relocated to Sun and Moon’s PizzaPlex, once the managers put in to transfer all the destroyed PizzaPlex’s surviving bots to their own location. Apollo and Daphne finally get reunited and work with Sun and Moon in the daycare. Harvest eventually ends up dating both Spring and Autumn, who he loves very much.

Harvest’s big buff girlfriend regularly picks him up and just carries him around, which he loves. He also loves picking up Autumn and carrying him around. The twins gush to each other about their pretty partners, Blood Moon mostly over Winter’s pretty voice and Summer’s cute little happy hands (he has ADHD) and Harvest over Spring’s muscles and Autumn’s pretty purple eyes.

Nobody asked for this but here’s some rouGh ANOES OC headcanons

•outwardly functioning pansexual disaster. Terrible with receiving compliments because it causes her to stop breathing and she never fully believes them.

•”Chaotic Gay dumbass parents and equally chaotic child” type of relationship with OG and RE. No one knows what caused them to look at her and go “this is our child now, if you so much aS BREATHE AT HER THE WRONG WAY-“. OG gives her tips on how to mess with people and RE gives her gardening advice and helps where he can with homework,like actually helps.

•mix of historical and stereotypical Irish luck. She lives but not without some new bs to deal with.

•ends up finding Badham and decides on fixing the garden since her mother had been constantly talking about her doing something in relation to gardening for god knows how long. And she actually ends up really enjoying it, in a “let me get to this on my own” sort of way.

•Loves camping.Hates the bugs.

•The Therapist/Mom Friend™️

•Raised in a semi-strict Catholic household. Her mother would often drag her to church events when she was younger(4-10 years old). She only went for the food.

•She had to grow up way too quick due to never really being able to stay in on place for long,because her older brother was in the military and kept on getting re-stationed at different forts across the country.That is until he disappeared when she was 12 and her family later moved to Springwood.

•RE affectionately ruffled her hair once and she went blank,gave him a heart attack in the process cause he immediately assumed the worst. After explaining, they went and watched The Blues Brothers cause RE was somewhere in his thirties’s when it came out and Axel was raised by a dad who grew up and was raised on the 80’s and it’s both of their comfort movie. They both have the full dance choreography memorized.

•both OG and RE call her “Kid” as a nickname.

•did gymnastics as a child up until fourth grade and picked it back up after sixth grade.

•And to top it all off, she does end up finding a girlfriend in a girl named Allison a few months after moving to Springwood and getting fully settled with a friend group. They have a Red/Blue:Sun/Moon dynamic with a couple parallels to OG/RE for some added ✨spoice✨

an anonymous secret for the "blow up my inbox" post

my girlfriend and I live together and both have ADHD and so constantly wandering eyes, it's accepted that if we'reon the sofa together and we're on our phones the other might see what we're doing. 2 days ago I accidentally saw some messages between her and a friend of ours and all I saw was her saying she's planning to propose to me soon!! I have no idea when or how much of a plan she has but I've not been able to stop thinking about it and I can't even talk to her about it I talk to her about everything 😅

and now I have to hope I didn't put enough detail for her to recognise this story because I think she also follows you 👀 (we both have hypnokinks lol)

omg this is such a juicy secret i was like, unsure whether or not i should post because ooooooo

(but also congratulations!)

the chaos gremlin in me wants to offer advice that should under no circumstances be followed unless you really think it'd be funny and you'd get away with it without blowing up your relationship:

beat her to the punch: make your own prep, and when she enacts whatever plan you think she has, swoop in at the last second with your own proposal. Alternatively, and perhaps less competitively, show up with your own proposal just after hers, so that you don't invalidate her efforts.

run your own game: maybe she meant for you to see? if you both have the wandering eyes, maybe she thought you might see. maybe she likes to live dangerously? leave clues to your own impending proposal and see what she does.

plan a post-proposal surprise: when she does it, have a surprise for her ready to go. something memorable, so it becomes part of the story. you can't learn there's a plan in motion and not do anything!

come clean: admit what you saw, but then, suggest brainwashing it out of you! after all, you're both hypnokinky. once you've forgotten all about it, she can pop her plans and let you remember! (disclaimer: this is probably much harder than the stories suggest, but if your adhd memory is anything like mine, you'll probably forget entirely with the right hyperfixation)

BatFam OC headcanons Pt. 2

Ramona Todd-Harper

Adopted daughter of Jason Todd and Roy Harper.

Full legal name is Ramona Luisa Todd-Harper

When she was 8 her mother and father gave her to Jason as Red Hood because they were going to die.

Jason was going to put her in an orphanage but realized they had a connection and decided to take her in.

They became very close and about 2 years later he was able to adopt her. (Lots of legal stuff had to happen first)

When Ramona was about 12 Jason and Roy got married.

Lian came into the picture about a year later.

Ramona and Lian are really close. She is also close with Roy. He even taught her archery.

When Ramona is around 15 she became a vigilante called Bluejay. She uses daggers and throwing knives and occasionally a bow and arrow.

She became a vigilante with Crash, her best friend.

Everyone called them the Arkham Duo.

Ramona is Pan romantic and Asexual.

Her girlfriend's name is Maria Prince.

Her friend group consists of: Crash Quinzel (the crazy gay friend), Maria Prince (the Amazonian Lesbian, and Ramona's girlfriend), Blaise Addams (the angry bisexual), and Kaity Davis (the confused/oblivious bisexual)

Eventually this friend group becomes the Arkham Five.

They keep it a secret from the Batfam/Harley and Ivy for about two years.

Rarepair headcanons because I am ignoring my problems

Serodeku:

Izuku reenacts the Spider-Man movies with Sero. Izuku is MJ. They also alternate being Spider-Man sometimes

They skate together

They get very protective when people call their boyfriend “plain”

They play dnd together

Sero tries to make sure that izuku gets some rest

They’re both kinda insecure, izuku more than sero, but still; and they make sure to reassure each other as often as possible

Sero likes listening to Izuku’s ramblings and finds them cute. He has told izuku this, only for the poor boy to imitate a tomato

After Izuku has been particularly reckless, Sero takes advantage of his quirk, wraps Izuku in bubble wrap, and tapes it there

Tokoyami teaches izuku how to sword fight

They start a dnd club at U.A.

Izuku talks to dark shadow a lot, Dark Shadow approves of him, and has claimed the spot of best man at their wedding

They often work together with izuku to work in gear and such

They actually got together after izuku introduced them. He had been working on gear with mei, and studying with momo and he thought they’d hit it off. He was correct

Shintsuyu:

Dude they’d be so cute

Tsu is a vent gremlin, and you can’t change my mind. So she and shinsou will play a game where they try to find each other. Tsu is in the vent and shinsou is in the classrooms. Shinsou will try to find whichever vent she’s in, or she’ll find whichever classroom he’s in, in 20 minutes or less

I always headcanoned tsu as a dog person, so they’d have two cats and two dogs, and a bunny that they named Deku

They like comparing their friends to animals, hence the bunny, Deku

Kamideku:

Kaminari is a flirt, and izuku does n o t know how to handle it

Kaminari likes listening to izuku’s ramblings, and can keep up with them. He’ll ask questions on things too, and Izuku has never felt more appreciated

I don’t know why I feel like they’d have so many animals, but I do. They’d have so many, man. Three cats, two dogs, four sugar gliders, a hamster

Adhd power couple. They hyperfixated on complimentary things at the same time one time

Kaminari tutors izuku in English, and izuku turots kami in some other subjects. He’s also teaching kami JSL on the side. Kaminari has a live of languages

Momochako:

Study dates, Momo asks ochako to quiz her a lot

Ochako takes to floating momo’s things when she wants attention. Especially when Momo is studying. She makes a game out of how many things she can float until the other girl notices

Uraraka’s confidence does wonders for momo’s. Uraraka always makes sure to reassure momo that she is strong and that she can do this

Momo makes Uraraka whatever her heart desires. Uraraka blushes all the time, and momo takes great pride in getting her girlfriend to blush

Minatoru:

Mina clings to everyone, but especially to toru

They give each other stuffed animals so often. They’ll go to the store to get food, and come back with three stuffed animals that reminded them of each other

Please, they’re so cute 😭✋

They will play hide and seek, I stand by this.

Mina helps toru design a new costume. I hate hers, it’s horrible, and sexist, and not suitable for a fucking child

Toru says that pink is her favorite color

They flirt with each other all the time. Half the class thinks it’s cute, half of them used to think it was cute.

Iidamomo:

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, but study dates. they quiz each other, and it actually gets pretty competitive

They also have rage room dates. I will not budge on this. Iida tried to murder someone, and I am excited to see momo finally snap. She deserves it

They alternate paying for dates, don’t try me.

The go hiking a lot

They started liking each other after one late night, both having nightmares. Momo had tea, and offered some to Iida. They talked until the early hours of the morning

They can’t flirt. They try. But they’re horrible at it. They’ll compliment each other all day long, but they cannot flirt.

KIRIDEKU, MY BELOVED:

Y’all,,, y’all, I love them so much

They train together, obviously

They ran into each other one night in the common room after both having nightmares. They talked about middle school, how they were both bullied, izuku’s quirk coming in late, katsuki being abusive, kiri being bullied because his quirk wasn’t “cool.” After that, they were practically inseparable.

They started going on dates, not that either of them knew they were dates. The entire class knew, so did the teachers, so did the rest of U.A. Kirishima picked up on it first after a comment from Mina, he had is realization.

So, he started courting Izuku. Not thag izuku realized this. He brought him flowers on most ‘dates,’ he bought him hero action figures whenever he could, he complimented him until Izuku was red in the face (which was honestly very easy.) Still, izuku remained ignorant to the fact that he was indeed dating Kirishima.

The final tipping point, was due to Uraraka’s help. She was quite tired of watching the two of them pine for each other. It was amusing for the first couple months, watching Kirishima try so hard, and Deku being totally oblivious. However, she took pity on her friends after a while.

So, Uraraka devised a devilish plan to get the two together. She involved Mina, Sero, and kaminari in this plan. What was the plan, you ask? Oh, simply to trap the two in one room until they broke through izuku’s obliviousness.

Kirishima finally “straight” up admitted his feelings, to which Izuku had the sudden realization of “oh my gods, have we been dating this whole time??” Yes, Izuku. Yes you have.

They have two anniversaries after that.

Let’s be honest, they are really, annoyingly, horrifically lovey dovey. Kirishima brags about having “the manliest and bestest boyfriend in the world.” Izuku flaunts his many PowerPoint presentations on how talented and incredible Kirishima is

Uraraka doesn’t know if she did the right thing by helping them. She is so tired

Tsujirou:

Jirou makes playlists for tsu

The few sane ones in class A, I swear

They go on walks in the rain as often as they can

They go for dates in the bookstore too. They each pick out an album and a book for the other to listen to and read

Y’all, they make so much sense togetherrrrr, I’m love them 🥺

Jirou started liking tsu after the crew saved bakugou. Jirou sat with tsu after momo, Iida, kirishima, Todoroki, and izuku apologized and sat with her. They had movie night, and Jirou joined the Bakugou saving crew and tsu with taking well into the night. She just appreciated how much tsu cared

Tsu started liking Jirou after she helped Iida, momo, and izuku try to keep the class in order. She appreciated how diplomatic and calm she was

Jirou would talk to izuku all night long about how gay she was, and how adorable tsu was. So, izuku decided to try and suggest ways for Jirou to ask her out.

She did not end up getting to ask her out though, as Tsu walked up to her the next morning f and asked if she wanted to go on a date. Jirou said yes. Izuku cried

Izujirou:

They make playlists for each other

They go for runs on the beach a lot

They both have insomnia, and often spend time making blanket forts and talking, or FaceTiming and listening to music

Jirou walks into the common room once a week looking for new music. She started liking Izuku after he made a playlist for her for one of these occasions.

They’re both quite awkward when it comes to romance, but neither of them will shy away from facing the truth. So, Jirou made izuku a playlist filled with love songs that reminded her of him and sent it to him. Sadly, izuku is dense as hell.

So, then Jirou wrote a love song and told izuku that the song was for him. Sadly, izuku is dense as hell.

So, then Jirou write analysis about izuku’s quirk for him. Sadly, izuku is dense as hell

So, then, after thinking that Jirou had done so much for him, izuku made her a playlist filled with love songs. Jirou took this to mean that izuku had finally picked up on her feelings, and accepted them.

So, they started to go on dates. Not that izuku knew this, as he is dense as hell. All leading up to izuku finally confessing his feelings on one of their ‘dates,’ to which Jirou responded, “dude, we’re already dating? Aren’t we? I- I thought that was obvious??”

May this awkward couple be forever blessed

Tokoyama:

Goth/prep boyfriends, we love to see it

At least once a day, Aoyama will proclaim that Tokoyami “shines almost as bright as he does, in his fabulous emo way”

They sword fight, and come up with really dramatic scenarios and scenes that they’re in

They bond over being in the izucrew and their shared love of swords. Aoyama took fencing classes in middle school, and Tokoyami got into sword fighting after watching it in pirates of the Caribbean as a young child. He is self taught and watched countless videos on the art of sword fighting

Tokoyami asked Aoyama our by dramatically presenting him with a dagger and going “will you accompany me on a formal outing as my lover?”

Shinyama:

They flirt constantly

No really, it’s getting quite annoying. Someone please stop them.

They both plop down in random areas and proclaim their deaths, the difference between them, is that Aoyama will burst into shinsou’s room, and yell “love, I’ve been murdered. Mourn for me” while plopping down on shinsou’s lap. Shinsou can be found laying face down outside aoyama’s door, and when Aoyama goes to open the door, he just goes “I’ve been murdered.”

^^ one time, shinsou did a very fun Halloween prank for this, where he poured fake blood all over himself for Aoyama to find him an hour later, asleep.

Nap dates. Aoyama get glitter all over shinsou’s room

Iiyama:

Aoyama enjoys making Iida blush, obviously. But he takes joy in doing it specifically when class is about to start. Aizawa is tired of his shit

Here is how I think an iiyama conversation might go:

Aoyama: I ask for one thing in this relationship-

Iida: Aoyama, you know that’s a lie-

Aoyama: for my boyfriend to carry me around all day-

Iida: Aoyama, I cannot feasibly do this with class-

Aoyama: and I don’t think that’s too much to ask for 😤

Anyway, Aoyama got carried around all day that day, despite Iida’s blush and Aizawa’s eye twitch

Everyone in the izucrew is close, but Iida and Aoyama started to get close after Iida told the crew about Stain. Aoyama wanted Iida to know that he wasn’t alone, and that he wanted to help him. So he started packing extra cheese for lunch and giving it to Iida. Iida was very confused at first. But this was Aoyama trying to court him. This was only made apparent by momo and Jirou telling Iida that this was aoyama’s attempt at expressing romantic interest.

Aoyama flirts with everyone, that’s just who he is. But with Iida? Oh it was tenfold. The poor boy was red in the face constantly. Aoyama was a persistent little bugger too, following him around and calling him ‘mon amour’

Kirikamideku:

My dearest traffic light trio, I’m love them

They train together, and kiri and kami always appreciate izuku’s analysis snd ideas

Kiri falls even more in love with izuku and kaminari when they go off on rants. Izuku rants and kami can keep up with him so he asks questions about it. Kiri loves to watch his boyfriends go on rants, I don’t make the rules, but I do enforce them

They started to get closer after kami and kiri found bakugou causing a ptsd flashback (could be on purpose of an accident, up to the reader.) they stated with him and tried to talk him through it. After this, izuku started to tell them about having been a “late bloomer” and being bullied, etc. (I don’t know, man; I tend to over share after flashbacks and after panic attacks)

Izuku tutors them in several subjects, but kami tutors them in English. Kiri just falls in love with his smart boyfriends

Izuku is teaching kami JSL and kami is helping izuku with English and Italian (personal headcanon that Italian has been one of kami’s special interests) kiri loves to listen to them, and finds it relaxing and calming to hear them do this. When he has panic attacks, he’ll ask them to tutor each other in different languages

If you're a gremlin or dumbass of any kind, she's always making sure you don't do stupid stuff.

If you're responsible and sensible like her, the two of you keeping your idiot friends in line.

Ranting to each other about everything.

Being just like best friends that hold hands and kiss and stuff.

Supporting each other through ANYTHING. Basic stuff like periods and homework or literal Tartarus and war.

Planning on spending the rest of your lives together.

Supporting her in her dreams of being an architect.

Her supporting you in whatever you want to do or be.

She's not big on PDA all the time but she will hold your hand and occasionally kiss you.

Definitely stealing kisses when people aren't looking though.

Cuddling in either the Athena cabin or yours, Annabeth reading to you or telling you little facts she learned about the things you like.

She will research your interests thoroughly so she can talk about it with you.

Sometimes it feels like she doesn't have time for you because she's always busy with studying, plans for Olympus, organizing things around camp, quests, and what seems like a billion other things.

Fighting with her is IMPOSSIBLE. Not because she's always right (though she loves to think so), but because of her fatal flaw, hubris (excessive pride).

Kaminari Denki Headcanons

(All hail the mighty pikachu)

1/ Bisexual disaster. He flirts all the time but once he gets flirted with? Oh my gosh bi panic everywhere. Polysexual as well. (Is 50% the reason the Bakusquad starts dating each other)

2/ ADHD AND dyslexia! Oops, let’s sprinkle on some DEPRESSION right there!

3/ His legal guardian is his older brother Akio and his girlfriend. Parents aren’t in the picture and neither Kaminari brother wants them to be. Akio would murder for his baby bro.

4/ can’t be outside during thunderstorms. He gets too much electricity in his system and then he’s at risk for seizures. Still gets them but they’re mostly triggered by thunderstorms.

5/ His quirk creates Lichtenberg figures on his skin and he either loves them or hates them depending on the day. On good days he shows them to people and makes jokes about how his skin matches his hair! On bad days? Doesn’t even look at himself in the mirror and tries to ignore it.

6/ Would exercise until he was close to passing out because he just looked at all these beefcake guys like Kirishima and Iida and even MIDORIYA had muscle and then he was just... lanky noodle arms. Bakugou was the one who was like “I’m not going to hang around you if you don’t take care of yourself, you absolute shithead.” And when that didn’t work he threw the weights across the gym and started crying saying that Kami was important to him and that he’d hurt himself if he kept this shit up.

7/ Chaos gremlin. Absolute madlad.

8/ Can pass as any gender or no gender at all at it’s frustrating how PRETTY he is. Like Todoroki is the masculine pretty but no Kaminari has to be pretty on ALL LEVELS.

9/ claims he’s Aizawa’s favorite. Ignores Aizawa glaring at him.

10/ “If you save me from dying. Good luck getting rid of me. God wanted me dead now you get to find out why.” And “do it for the lols” are his life mottos.

11/ Instagrams EVERYTHING. Mina doing her makeup? #KILLING IT GIRL. Kirishima working out? WOOHOO BENCH ME! Bakugou cooking? ‘Break me off a piece of that KitKat bar~’ and has a picture of a KitKat on Bakugou’s butt? Absolutely. He loves videos and videos EVERYTHING.

Depression is stupid

So I’m gonna start by saying i literally made a new account because I have friends on my old one (which i haven't posted on in years btw) that i don’t really want to see this.

Well lets get into it

I was diagnosed, while in the military, with chronic depression. I’ve gone through counseling, tried natural supplements, and even been on medication but everything only seems to work temporarily. No matter what i seem to do it always comes back. Counseling was my favorite of the three because with the other 2 it felt like i was corking the problem and not attempting to resolve it. Now i haven’t been to a counselor in a few years as I’ve been able to keep it at bay with good habits (eating better, getting adequate sleep, taking time for socializing, etc.) however I knew I’d still need to deal with it I’m just doing my best to minimize it. With that being said I’m noticing the patterns of it coming on again and that scares me because depression has made me do some stupid things in the past and I do not want to ruin where i have got myself to. I have a good job, a nice truck, a good relationship with both my parents (which was not always the case) and frankly i found myself truly happy with how far i have come but i want to continue moving forward which is why i made this account to vent about the stupid things I’m doing as to not let them fester in my mind overthinking them dozens of times.

So one of my first signs actually has to do with my interactions with the opposite sex. I’ve never been any kind of womanizer or fuck boy for that matter but when i start to notice a decline the first thing i start to want is an orgasm. Although,when you are Poly and single that can be pretty hard to obtain, also add in the fact that I’m not really a charmer and I’ve always been the weirdo of the group and that leads to me having only really ever had 2 sexual relationships. Now wanting to have an orgasm i feel is pretty natural the dopamine helps stabilize to keep you from feeling so down you cant do anything so i usually end up masturbating but that can tend to be like eating bread when you want a sandwich. Anyways I still usually try and find someone to hookup with or start a relationship with at this time which is hard because a hookup would have to be a friend or someone i already have some sort of connection with and i believe that has lead to quite a few female acquaintances distancing themselves because of the way i acted and i always seem to regret that when i get my head back on straight. A relationship however isn’t better because I’m usually rushing past all the red flags and putting myself into a shitty situation in which i end up hurting the other person due to my lack of perception in the early part of the relationship. Even though this process normally starts because of my problems i always end up blaming myself and making my condition worse because of my urges and it honestly saddens me that there are many awesome people who will probably only remember me as a fuck boy that tried to get into their pants at one point.

Now obviously there are two threads from here the one where i was with someone and the one where i was by myself. I’d like to dive into the relationship thread first as that has never worked out the way i hoped (see Single above) now i have gone through my lows in both romantic relationships and each had a different outcome due to having different partners so ill go through each individually. My first was definitely my first love we spent so much time together that we basically lived together at least 18 months of our 2 years together. She was with me through basic and it was after basic that my depression really hit me hard (uncorked my medication while in service and i was basically told i wasnt good enough for military even though i had perfect scores through basic) and she stayed and helped me through that. We stayed together for almost a full year after basic until i was fired from not 1 but 2 jobs. The firings killed my confidence and i was so low that i didn’t want to drag my love down with me and distanced myself. One thing led to another and eventually she left me for someone else who she is still happy with today. Now on to relationship number 2 and this one was a little different as it started with me already in a depression. It had been 5 years since me and my previous girlfriend had broken up and i was pretty down. I lived with 2 actors who could bring girls in just about whenever they wanted and that led me to compare myself to them can be pretty degrading when they start talking numbers and while theirs are in the 20s and 30s and you have to sit back like well at least I’m not a virgin. Enter my second girlfriend who was very obviously into me and i jumped into it like a recovering junkie. It took me about 2 weeks to establish a connection with her and then when i was comfortable and able we did the deed and i started to feel better about myself little by little as my confidence grew so did my performance at work and thus came raises and i was able to buy my new-ish truck and cross that off my bucket list. With everything that was going on i fell in love with this girl not for who she was but who she had helped me become and now that i look back that feels very selfish of me. It then became my goal to help her in whatever way i could as she had anxiety that affected her very harshly. I did everything i could but started to feel overbearing and like help wasn’t what she wanted. After time all the red flags that had been there since the beginning started choking me like a bad scarf of my own design. She started turning on me for helping her and when i decided to leave she threatened to kill herself for it. Seeing how toxic the relationship had become i left but i feel like if i had been more coherent in the beginning i wouldn’t have hurt her as bad.

Now on to the second thread of being single. The ebb and flow is pretty common as the vast majority of the time i have been single. We’ll start this thread from after i have already hit the depression and then move to the effects (note: many of these symptoms i go through in relationship too its just how i handled them that changes). I begin by spending less time following my good habits usually my personal care declines (stop showering everyday, don’t get enough sleep, eat like crap, etc.) then it starts affecting my job, i make little mistakes which i get harder and harder on myself about the gremlin in my head (who doesn’t pay rent) starts telling me how worthless i am and how i can never live up to anyone standards even my own and whatnot. Next i begin to distance myself from friends and family feeling like i’m a burden and that people are faking how they feel about me. I then lose the ability to focus on just about anything even worse than normal (adhd too yay). Finally, i begin to lash out at anyone who kept close and usually end up quitting my job and getting stuck like this for months. In the past this has led to me losing the ability to work many places in my city, tarnishing relationships especially those of my parents in the past, weight gain, less self confidence than when i started, and eventually me somehow getting out of the hole usually through a new job or friendship or something else random. The results of these has led to me having 13 jobs in the last 7 years and i have probably chased off more friends than some people have had.

Anyways this has been my rant on why depression is stupid. I would like to say i did not come here and write this looking for help I came to vent my frustrations of my own chemical imbalance. To anyone who has decided to take the time to read this feel free to send me any questions as i enjoy talking about my struggle if it helps someone else all in all that is the one thing that has always made me feel better is when i can be a light for one persons darkness and so i ask if you are also in a dark place reach out because it cant help the person helping you just as much...if that makes sense
