Original Character Championship!!!

Submit your characters to take part! Roleplay characters, fanfic inserts, characters from your unwritten books - everyone counts! Since there was some confusion - that includes ocs made for fandoms!

RULES:

Only one character per person - sorry but let's make it fair for everyone!

I will decide the number of entries based on the number of submissions i get!

Everyone gets through the submission process into round 1

Please be polite! - don't insult other people's ocs or try to start drama over this!!

The submissions will close when I get enough but I Will post about it in advance (the current hopeful not-at-all-certain date is the 20th)

The championship will be heavily propaganda based - how else are people supposed to decide between two characters they don't even know about!

When I entered my fella Deja Vu into this championship I thought to myself, man. It would be pretty fun if I drew the ocs that he faces off against! Idk if I'm gonna be able to do this regularly, if Deja lasts that long anyhow, but yeah!

hi guys take a proper gander at my son Tsuru and vote him in the @original-character-championship !! (when the poll with him comes out) (he's no. 264)

comes in many flavors! I just reuse him whenever I need a new design for something (minecraft roleplay and dnd)

the only consistent thing is the white hair version of him is a "ghost" (literally or metaphorically) and the black haired one is the "past" him. (actually sometimes he dies and keeps his black hair. the only consistent thing is he dies and comes back a little fucked up)

honestly. he's just the one guy i find the most fun to draw. and if that isn't the most important thing about a oc idk what is.

Why YOU should vote Felix in the @original-character-championship!!

He's a disaster. He's the centre of the universe. He will lose a fight against a teenager. His powers have story-breaking consequences. He's eaten moss. He's immortal. He's Felix.

He's wanted in at least two countries, had a hand in nearly causing a magical zombie apocalypse, his best friend basically controls the black market and his brother is an assassin.

He's a king-consort, the leading diplomat of a whole country, helped invent immortality, revolutionized the way spells are written and became a god.

He pretends to be selfish and indifferent to others, and he would like to be, but the truth is he cares deeply for the people closest to him. He would burn the world down for any of them, and he nearly did. He holds no regard for laws or morals, but he wants to be good because of the people he considers his family.

(picrew gone now ;-; but this is his first cohesive design! this is him!!)

He knows the most about actually being a normal functioning member of society out of his whole friend group. Which is a little concerning given the fact that they are all responsible for a country. You also wouldn't know it looking at them, because Felix prefers to cause problems for fun on purpose <3

He has complicated thoughts on relationships (he's just like me fr) but it all basically boils down to "i choose these people to spend my life with, why would anyone care about why"

Simon is the single father of like, nine kids. Went the mad scientist route and achieved immortality via pact with dead god and has the most badass looking scar you have ever seen. He created an off brand SCP Foundation just because he could. I could go on for years about this man. I made a villain and woobified him myself.

Simon is roughly 5'4", he has black wavy hair that comes down to his shoulders. His eyes are heterochromatic, the right being green while the left is blue. Unfortunately this is hard to see, as he has a large and deep scar across his right eye that reaches from his forehead to the base of his neck. He wears the traditional sexyman suit when he's not being a mad scientist. When he is, he wears traditional mad scientist clothes. His design is sometimes inconsistent, but that description has all of the consistencies. As you'll probably see in the images, his scar was only across his cheek and seemed to be stitched, and his outfit changes sometimes.

Finch is my BABYGIRL she's soo pathetic and traumatized. What if SHE'S doomed by the narrative. She had a bestie but then she exploded her bestie with fireworks while under the influence of a fucked up disease that made her worship hell and now her ex bestie hates her. She had a wife but then her wife suddenly divorced Finch and told her she never loved her, and Immediately Died Afterwards before Finch had the time to process anything. Also she has issues with BOTH her parents !! Now Finch has to deal with her wife being dead, her bestie hating her, her girldad trying to kill her, AND a lot of guilt from while she was infected with hell worship disease!!!! Shes my babygirl im obsessed with her. also shes a minecraft OC. AND shes a lesbian

Finch has pale skin and short ginger hair tied up in a bun. She has scars on her face and right hand from the Nether infection. She typically wears a plain dark red hoodie and black pants. She has bright cyan eyes, which were clouded while she was infected, but are bright and clear again now that she's been cured. Her design is kind of plain but I think her story makes up for it <3

Carter is a WW2 veteran, he's also immortal (forever 20) and has been helping his wizard boyfriend protect the world from magical threats. He's the son of a war god, and he's also very gay.

Hes also dyslexic and ADHD, deaf, and recently had his left hand and leg amputated due to events regarding his dad 🥲 (You can actually read all of this in All Is Fair In Love And War on ao3)

He acts like he doesn't care, but he's a huge sweetheart and has a soft spot for kids. He loves his little sisters a lot 💜

He and his boyfriend got engaged so... wedding yes 👀

By all means, Bunie tended to avoid most people and interactions, limiting himself to daily strolls when less people are around or dropping by his favorite sweets shop on Sunday's.

Though, due to unprecedented circumstances—*coughcough, some stinkey celestial with a god complex and their accomplice, coughcough*—Bunie is plagued with nightmares and distress that often ends up with him going after those who have either wavy/curly hair, usually on the mid-to-short length, or tired eyes (his M.O.). He doesn't often outright kill them, but if he did, he would use his Signature Scissors.

Even if people don't fit his M.O., he might go after those who are hostile/bothering him or others. He doesn't attack or kill all the time, he rather avoid it if possible. A majority of the time, he would just look on curiously...

He handles himself well down the line thanks to a certain other celestial and making better connections...<3

Chae-Yeong is one of the main characters of my rwby age swap au (read it here!), which basically lets her be a little more unhinged than usual bcs she's not as mature and in her control of herself at 18 as she is in her 40s. She gets to be in a fight club and also go stop crimes to avoid addressing her trauma. And she gets to have a little bit of female bonding and a guy thinking she's the most incredible person in the world too <3
