I could still remember that night, your piercings, your tattooes, are all in their right places. I could still remember the texture of your soft hands when you shake it with mine while you are holding a bottle of beer and clipping a stick of cigar on your other hand. I could still remember that cold night when you sit beside me in front of the fire. We had an understanding. You asked me out and the rest was history.
It was five years ago and I did not know what happened. We meet again, you are different. More decent. More clean. I smile, you smile.

i dont think that deja vu is a real thing, i love the whole concept of it but i don’t think its real.
i would definitely say that deja vu is a memory phenomenon.
we are facing a situation that is similiar to an actual memory that we have, and our brains align the similarities between what is happening and the memory that we have of something. i don’t know if you’ve noticed but when the “deja vu” happens, we are never able to fully recall the memory, so that’s when our brains align the similarities between the present and the past
Clouds appear as if from nowhere, clogging up the street corner. Even if bizarre, seeing them so close to the ground in such such multitudes, they’re more a nuisance than anything else. Passerby can easily walk through them, they’re actually quite warm if one chooses to, or otherwise bat them out of the way. There’s greater clusters of them at their source. If the center is reached, there’s just a little girl.
When Tetia had cast this before, the other time she’d ended up in a place unfamiliar to her, it brought about an idea. She hoped it would do much the same this time. She huddled up, her cloak managed to hide how much she trembled, but her face made it clear as day: She’s frightened.
“Oh, what do I do, what do I do ... Think, Tetia! Think!”
