BAD IDEA RIGHT? — L.HS

synopsis: Getting over an ex was supposed to be easy? Wrong. You couldn’t resist yourself from going back to your ex, Lee Heeseung, after just one phone call from him and you even ended up lying to your friends about it. All of the trouble and emotions you went through after the break up was meant to keep you away, but can’t two people reconnect? Seeing him for a night was a bad idea, right?

Bumping into your ex at a party wasn't what you had in mind.

It was a night you were meant to enjoy with your girlfriends, being all dolled up in your best dresses and having your makeup done perfectly, you were ready to meet someone tonight. That idea came crashing down when you caught sight of him, Lee Heeseung, your ex.

You haven't heard from him in months after the break up. Although it was a friendly, mutual break up, things just weren't the same as it was. A three year relationship down the drain was painful and hard to fully let go, you didn't even know what went wrong. Somehow you also managed to avoid him most times, but apparently it just wasn't your night, was it?

"Y/N, please don't let him affect you," Wonyoung practically begged, personally witnessing your messy cries after the break up and wishing anything but for you to run back to him when the wound was still healing.

"I'm not," you said defensively, but frowned. "I think,"

"You think?"

"I'll avoid him and he won't affect me. Out of sight, out of mind,"

"You better," she said almost threateningly.

The rest of the hour passed by with you drinking sadly and Wonyoung off to somewhere else, which meant you were all on your own. Heeseung was nowhere in sight and you were glad, hoping it would stay that way.

It didn't.

An unknown number flashed on the screen of your phone. Maybe it wasn't the best idea to pick it up, but you did anyway, your instincts were telling you to do so.

"Hello?"

"Y/N?"

That voice.

"You didn't change your number," the voice from the other side said, amused.

"But you did," you breathed out, setting down the cup in your hand. "Heeseung,"

"I'm alone right now,"

"And?"

You could hear him exhaling, a beat passed. "Can you come over?"

"Are you insane?"

"No,"

Even though he couldn't see it, you rolled your eyes. "Are you feeling reminiscent? Or you just needed someone?"

"Not just someone, I need you,"

"Hee," you didn't realise you'd used your usual nickname for him until a second later, it was too natural, he was natural to be with. "I'm not just some hook up booty call you hit up after months of not talking,"

Heeseung scoffed. "You know I don't think of you like that. I never would. I miss you, genuinely, I do. I did some thinking lately and honestly, I want to see you,"

It was most likely a moment of weakness, but you could feel your self respect crumbling. You couldn't lie either, you've missed him as well, and the worst part was him calling you up and you were willing to go back to him.

"Send me your address." You hung up. The more you talked to him, and heard his voice, the more you felt your heart on the edge of combusting.

You were stupid. Your thoughts were practically screaming at you the moment you got out of the house and into your car. You know you were done with him, that you two were through, but God, when you think of him or look at him, you couldn’t help but let yourself run back. This time, you were not immune to him. At all.

Seeing him tonight, it was a bad idea, right?

Fuck it, it’s fine.

Up on the second floor was his new place. There he was standing at the door, smiling widely as you approached. The devilishly charming smile that had you hooked in the first place pulled you in, and that’s when you knew you weren’t leaving anytime soon.

“Heeseung,”

He looked as if he couldn’t actually believe you were standing there right in front of him. After months of not reaching out or seeing each other fully, both of you were equally surprised by one another’s changes. A second passed before he grabbed a hold of your arm and pulled you in, closing the door behind him.

“Is it bad to say that I’ve missed you?” his voice came out in a whisper, you were barely inches away from his face, the familiar scent of his cologne welcomed you to melt into his hold further.

“It is,”

“Can I have you for the night?”

“Just for tonight?”

“It could be more than that if you like. Just say the word and I’ll be yours again,”

Your brain was haywiring, it was genuinely just going ‘ah’ and you couldn’t hear your thoughts.

“Fuck it.”

Everything passed by in a blur. The next second you found yourself in his bed and suddenly it was three in the morning where you were wide awake, Heeseung however was sound asleep next to you. Sneaking your phone out and opening the groupchat with your girlfriends, you read over the hundreds of messages, ones where they said they wouldn’t be home as they’re staying over at someone else’s. You typed in an update, telling them you were about to sleep, but never mentioned where or in whose sheets.

Oh, the walk of shame was going to be something the next morning.

Heeseung ended up dropping you off in the morning and bidding you goodbye before leaving. The casualness from him had you doubting your choices, but you stayed silent as you made your way to your dorm, where your friends awaited you. Maybe breaking the news that you hooked up with your ex wasn’t the best choice either.

“You did what?” Wonyoung stared at you with her coffee mug almost dropping to the ground.

“Y/N…” Yujin’s voice trailed off in disappointment, and you sat there swallowing down the dread.

“Yes I know that he’s my ex, but can’t two people reconnect?” you tried reasoning, but the other two didn’t seem impressed. “I just tripped and fell into his bed,”

“Sure you did,” Wonyoung sighed before taking a big sip out of her mug.

“Hey, what’s the worst thing that could happen?” you threw your hands up, trying to play it cool. “I only see him as a friend.”

A few years ago, you and your most recent ex, Lee Heeseung, broke up. Both of you were dealing with personal issues, and it wasn't the right time for either of you to be in a relationship, so you mutually decided to end things. After the breakup, you were offered a position in another major across the country. With no relationship holding you back, you accepted the position and moved away.

Around two years later, you received news of a family member's passing and decided to return to your old apartment. You and Heeseung hadn't spoken since the breakup. He had tried to reach out, asking how you were, but your new schedule filled up any free time you used to have, so you often found yourself unable to respond. Eventually, he stopped texting altogether, and both of you moved on with your lives.

Now that you were back, the last thing you expected was to run into him while moving back into your old home. You spent the whole morning carrying box after box into your house, finding it challenging to do alone.

As you struggled with the boxes, sweat trickling down your forehead, you suddenly heard a familiar voice behind you. "Do you need some help with that?" The voice surprised you, causing you to swiftly turn around. There stood Lee Heeseung, looking as handsome as ever, with a concerned expression on his face.

Your heart skipped a beat, and for a moment, you were speechless. It took a few seconds to compose yourself before you managed to respond, "Heeseung? What are you doing here?"

Heeseung offered a small smile, his eyes reflecting a mix of surprise and relief. "I live next door now," he explained. "I moved back a few months ago. I didn't expect to see you here."

It felt strange to learn that he had been living nearby all this time, but you also felt a sense of relief. "I just moved back today," you replied, gesturing toward the scattered boxes. "Looks like I could use some help, actually."

Heeseung immediately stepped forward, taking hold of one of the heavy boxes. "Of course, I'll lend you a hand. It's the least I can do."

As the two of you worked together, the silence between you gradually dissipated, and memories of your past relationship started to resurface. You couldn't help but wonder what might have been if the timing had been different back then.

Once you finished carrying the last box inside, you both sat down on the porch steps, slightly out of breath. Heeseung looked at you with curiosity and concern. "So, how have you been all these years? I tried reaching out, but I never received a response."

You sighed, realizing how distant you had become and the impact it had on him. "I'm sorry, Heeseung. Life just got so busy after I moved. I had so much going on, and I didn't mean to ignore you. It was never my intention."

Heeseung nodded, understanding evident in his eyes. "I figured as much. I'm glad you're back, though. It's been lonely without you around."

A pang of regret washed over you, but you tried to focus on the present. "I missed you too, Heeseung. Maybe we can catch up properly now that we're both here."

A hint of a smile appeared on Heeseung's face. "I'd like that. We have a lot to talk about."

And so, on that warm afternoon, you and Heeseung went to the little café where you had your first date, sharing stories, reminiscing, and slowly reconnecting. It was a chance to rebuild what had been lost, to see if the sparks that once ignited your relationship could still burn brightly. Only time would tell what the future held for the two of you. But for now, you were grateful for this unexpected encounter and the possibility of rediscovering a connection that had once been so meaningful.

But then croc had to hit his foot on the side of something that led to him hitting his head on another thing and something knocked over something and the other thing fell but he caught the thing in time landing on the floor on his bed in a swift magic poof poof move ykno

Thats when he heard a small mumble "crocodile you're an idiot" with a small mumbled laugh

When he looked towards y/n, shes still asleep and snoring and yes

Late Again - Crocodile

notes - AHHHHH HI!!! I just finished Impel Down and saw wifey croc and nearly lost my mind! I love him sm and have been brainrotting for him B A D! Thank you for being the croc lover here and I am so glad this was still in my inbox for me to do tee hee. You sighed at you dimmed the lights. He had to be home soon. You just kept reminding yourself that as you tucked yourself in your warm sheets. You were used to Croc being out late, but tucking yourself into bed was always pretty hard.

Passing out though was a whole other ordeal. And an actual easy one. You worked hard, almost just as hard as your husband, so getting to sleep was nothing and you would always pass out, lights on or off.

Crocodile opened the front door slowly, sighing as he knew you were probably out by now. He wasn't keeping track of time and the moment he looked at the clock, he wanted to slap himself in the face.

He packed up as quickly as he could and came home to darkness. Luckily, he already ate, so he didn't have to worry about that, but damn would it be nice to get a kiss or a hug or anything after such a long day.

He slipped off his shoes and hung up his coat before going upstairs. A sliver of hope came to him when he saw the light on in your bedroom, but that always happened. So when he saw the dim light shining on your sleeping figure, a little bit of disappointment swept over him.

He tried tip toeing around, but failed miserably when he hit his foot on the side of the nightstand, which made an empty glass fall (surprisingly not shattering in the process) and then he hit his head on a bookshelf nearby somehow, which made him again hit the same foot from earlier onto the bed frame.

Crocodile felt like such an idiot and he looked at you with wide eyes.

Somehow you were still asleep.

Until you let out a mumble. "You're such an idiot, Croc."

He turned off the lamp and crawled into bed. "You don't have to tell me twice." he whispered.

But as he wrapped his arms around you, he noticed that you were still fast asleep.

My favorite K-Drama Couples 2023- Spring 2024

NOTE: I tried to include 2022 but my list got too long :)

Moving (Bong-Seok & Hee-Soo, Joo-Won & Hye-Won & Doo-Shik & Mi-Hyun): It's very obvious by this list how much I love this drama and how many blorbo-from-my-shows it created for me. And I know I'm only reviewing couples, but I was blown away by this drama. I don't even LIKE superhero shows, but I made an exception for this one and I'm so glad I did. If you like character development and plays on good vs. evil, I highly rec this! Bong-Seok and Hee-Soo are one of my favorite couples EVER and I loved the softness and epic romance of Joo-Won & Hye-Won. (And we all know that scene at the rainy window with Bong-Seok and Hee-Soo). These couples are really EVERYTHING.

Tale of the Nine Tailed: 1938 (Lee-rang & Yeo-Hee): This is the only time I've ever watched a season two and liked it better than season one. It's probably because it featured my favorite tragic half fox Lee Rang and gave him a love line with a mermaid. The two are SO sweet together---SOB!

Tell me That You Love Me (Mo-Eun & Jin-Woo): Wow. Maybe one of the softest couples I've ever seen in existence. Just watching them together was like a warm blanket in front of a cozy fireplace. I didn't like the ending choice which is a shame, but the drama was super well done and I still think people should watch it. There is also a very cute high school couple too!

The Eighth Sense (Jae-Won & Ji Hyun): not to be dramatic (just kidding!) this is the best bl kdrama I've ever seen. Literally this is it! I don't even want to tell you about the couple because I want you to just watch it! I'm dying for the writer to make another one because we need more queer media like this one!

Crash Course In Romance (Haeng-Seon & Chi-Yeol): Give me a noona romance featuring a man who has not felt warmth in 1000 years (ok not literally but this dude needs to have a warm meal made by an amazing lady!) This drama fell apart at the end (this seems to be a theme this year) but the couple makes it worth watching.

King The Land (Gu-Won & Sa-Rang): If you're looking for a low stakes, totally fluffy, rom com with TONS of chemistry (featuring MY BIAS!), King the Land is for you. Amazing skinship, kisses and just like a really fun duo to watch. Plot? Not so much but there are a billion good moments-- just look at the tags: They are full of cuteness.

Love After Divorce Season 4 (Benita & Jerome): Listen, I know I'm cheating by putting a reality tv show on this list but if you're in the mood for one, I highly recommend this season (it's on Netflix). Benita and Jerome will steal your heart and they are still together! I'm rooting for them. <3

See you in my 19th Life (Ji-Eum & Seo-Ha, Da-Hoon & Cho-Won): My bias Shin Hye Sun kills it in this drama featuring past life romance. Honestly it's not fair because this drama is totally my vibe so I'm obviously going to love the mains. But when a drama gives you more than one love line and they are both interesting and lovely?? Chef's Kiss!

Dr. Slump (Jeong-Woo & Ha-Neul): This drama TOTALLY fell apart at the end and left us all very disappointed, but that's not because our leads weren't a perfect couple! They bonded over mental illness and even took their meds together. Communication: check. Comfort/Healing: check. Chemistry: check!

The Story of Park's Marriage Contract (Yun-Woo & Tae-Ha). You probably don't know this but I've been following Bae In Hyuk's career since we was in silly little web dramas. Seeing him as a lead is really wild! To be fair, he's not nearly the actor that Lee Se Young is, but do we care about that when there's a time slip romance drama featuring a historical lady who's been thrown into the future and has to fake marry someone who looks just like her de*d husband for reasons??

You knew you should've told him before you started dating. It was unfair of you to keep this a secret but you were rightfully scared. You had been judged for being asexual by your previous partners so this did not make it easier to come out to your current boyfriend.

You were chilling on the couch next to Heeseung as you were both watching Heartstopper together. It was your idea, of course. You thought it would make it easier to confess but honestly, you were so nervous, you binged the entire show without talking about asexuality.

"You were right, I did really enjoy the show." Heeseung said when the last episode ended. "When does season three come out?"

"Hee?" He hummed at your call of his name. "I wanted to tell you something."

Now, Heeseung wasn't stupid. He could tell something was bothering you and indirectly it now bothered him as well. He sat up right and gave you his full undivided attention.

"I like this show so much because. . . well, I relate to Isaac." It wasn't the best way to say it but Heeseung (who had just binged the show with you) understood immediately.

"Were you scared I wouldn't support you?"

"I thought maybe you wanted to break up now--"

"Darling, I would never break up with you because of a minor difference between us."

It was the third date and yes, you should've told him sooner but you just couldn't. You wanted to enjoy the little moments with him before he'd leave you after you told him your sexuality.

"I had fun tonight but I could see something is really bothering you." Jay begun as you two walked down the street towards your home. He would always drop you off which was the cutest thing ever. "Did I do something?"

"No! No, of course not." You replied, panicking a little. How could a guy as perfect as Park Jong-seong think he did something wrong?

"Then, please, talk to me." You two had stopped walking now and stood still on the pavement not far from your house. You could've ran and hid away but you really did not want to make Jay your enemy.

"I haven't told you about a small detail. . . a big one, actually." Jay frowned, unsure where you were going with this. He watched as you began to fiddle with the zipper of your jacket in your hands out of nervousness. He sighed and pulled you against him in a hug.

"I really hope I am not comforting a murderer right now." You chuckled at his words which made him smile as well. "I hope you know that you can tell me anything." You nodded, deciding to be brave for once.

"I am asexual." You uttered to which Jay simply stared at you.

"That's it? That's what has been bothering you all night?"

"It is a big deal for many people."

"Not for me." Jay stated. "I like you way too much, sweetheart."

You were in the park watching Layla together as she was running around filled with energy. You had been dating Jake for about six months and always felt very attracted to him. . . just not sexually.

You had no idea what was wrong with you because you loved him, you just never understood yourself until you finally took the time to search it up and ended up in the asexual community. You were glad you knew what the problem was, you just didn't know how to voice it. Jake was a real horndog and you knew this.

"Y/N?!" He waved a hand in front of your face which snapped you out of your thoughts and made you realize he had already stood up. "Are you finally going to tell me what has been distracting you for the past weeks?" You knew it was unfair for him not to know but you also did not want to lose him.

"I love you, Jake."

"Oh no, that's how every breakup starts. Whatever I did, I'm sorry. I'm sure we can work it out--"

"I am not breaking up with you." You told your crazy boyfriend who sighed in relief. "I just. . . Jake I figured something out about myself recently and . . ." You looked down, unsure how to continue.

"Whatever it is, I'm sure it's nothing too bad, right?" A million things were going on in his head. Were you sick? Were you terminal? He wasn't ready to lose you yet.

"I'm think I'm asexual. Well, I'm pretty sure, actually." Jake stared at you before a big smile made its way onto his face.

"So serious! I thought you were gonna tell me you were dying!" He yelled as he wrapped his arms around you. "You're such a dramatic person! You know I love you forever. Regardless of things like these!"

Your friend was the one who convinced you to tell people about your sexuality before you started dating them. It was better that way as most people really cared about stuff like that but when you met Sunghoon and he seemed interested in you, you were so nervous.

He was easily the most handsome as well as kindest soul you have ever met. He was funny and sweet, loyal and caring and you were sure you'd never find anyone quite like him but he had to know. So, you met in a small coffee shop (where you met three weeks ago for the first time) to talk because he had asked you the previous night to be his partner.

"I read your text, it seemed urgent." Sunghoon said once the two of you sat down and got comfortable in a booth in the corner of the coffee shop you loved so much. "What's wrong?"

"Before we actually make things official, I have to tell you something." Sunghoon nodded, continuing to listen carefully to each word you said as he sensed this was important. "I am asexual."

"Asexual?" Sunghoon asked and you were sure you had never seen him so confused. "Elaborate, please."

"I do not feel sexual attraction to anyone." It wasn't that hard, you have had this conversation with many people before but they never stayed.

"Okay." Sunghoon said with a nod. "Now, do you want to be my partner or. . ."

"Okay? You're not. . . bothered?"

"By what? I must say, you're the first person ever who has not shown sexual attraction to me but I'm not here for the sex. I'm here because I like you, so. . . partner?"

-Sunoo

You had given yourself a pep-talk in front of the mirror in which you convinced yourself it would be as easy as ripping off a bandaid. Just tell your boyfriend you are asexual. Easy as that. . .

You walked out in the living room to see Sunoo waiting for you on the couch. When he saw you, he patted the spot next to him and took the remote control to continue the tv show you were watching together.

"Sunny? Can I ask you something?" You mumbled as you sat down next to your sunshine of a boyfriend. He looked at you with the biggest smile and nodded back at you as you sat down next to him. "I am asexual."

"That's alright, angel." Sunoo replied and kissed the top of your head as he took the remote control and wrapped an arm around you.

"I understand if you don't want to be with me anymore or need some time to think this over--"

"Hey, hey." He had dropped the remote and instead cupped your face with one hand as the other stayed around your waist. "I know what asexuality is and I am not bothered by it."

"How come? Aren't you supposed to tell me how we won't work and then you'll find a person who is better than me and--"

"As if I will ever find anyone better than you?" Sunoo told you with a grin. "I promise, angel, I do not care. I love you regardless."

You had been friends with Jungwon for a while before you realized you had developed a crush on him. You had known about your sexuality for a long time but always kept it to yourself until he had come to you to confess how much he liked you.

You were thorn because on one hand you were so happy he felt the same way and he wanted to be with you but on the other hand you were terrified his feelings would change once you told him the truth even though Jungwon did not seem like that kind of guy.

"If my confession made anything weird between us, then I want you to know that you are completely free to reject me." Jungwon told you as you had not responded to his love confession from the previous day.

"It's not that, I really do like you back and I am happy you like me too I just. . ." How were you going to say this?

Jungwon lifted your chin up with his fingers so you would face him. His dark eyes showed nothing but admiration and softness. You felt yourself relax when you watched his dimpled smile grow.

"You can tell me anything."

"I am asexual." He seemed to think for a moment before looking back at you and nodded.

"Just to get this straight, asexuality is not feeling sexual attraction to anyone, right?" You nodded as reply. "Thank you for telling me."

"Do you still want to be my boyfriend?" You asked him hesitantly.

"Oh yes, no take-backs." He joked to which you chuckled.

You had never felt so brave in your life. You had recently gotten together with Niki and you were so happy but there was one minor detail you hadn't told him yet so you picked up your phone and texted this to him. 'I am asexual btw'

Niki had stared at his phone for twenty whole minutes before he decided to look it up because in all honesty, he had never heard of it. Once he read the entire wikipedia and scattered around to look at tiktoks for about thirty minutes in which asexuality was explained, he showed up at your front door.

"Next time you have to tell me something important, please add an explanation because I have read and looked at so many different things that I still don't know what you texted me."

"Niki, it is midnight."

"I know, I just. . . I want to understand you and I want to make you feel safe and supported but I cannot do that whan I don't know what it is."

So, you let him enter your house and started explaining everything you knew and honestly, hearing it from you made it all suddenly click in his head. When you were done explaining he smiled at you.

"You are really brave for telling me this." Niki said to which you smiled sheepishly. He hugged you tightly. "Thank you for explaining."

I was trying to avoid being excited about it because no solid release date and 2024 could be a few months from now or a year from now and Idk how long I can handle being so fuckin hyped for this game YEEHAW

BUT I CAN'T, I KEEP THINKING ABT THE GAME AAHAHHGAGA

so here are my thoughts, if you wanted to know

FIRST OF ALL, i am so glad that after we saw LTNM II we thought it'd be co-op but it was just an AI, that we finally get co-op! AND ONLINE TOO, i spent the first day worried it'd be shared screen same room situation since i wasn't trying to get my hopes up but then I realised I can just.. google it.. AND IT IS!!! ONLINE!! IDK WHO I AM GONNA PLAY IT W FIRST AAAAAAAA

anyways, you can definitely tell it's a new studio working on this game, the world feels mostly the same but the character designs themselves are definitely stylistically similar, but not the same. With Six especially, the MC designs were very simplistic and realistic but used colour (or for Mono, a single design quirk being the bag) to stand out against their backgrounds and against the enemies which are largely neutral colours. But these new ones feel... "over designed"? On their own they definitely aren't, but in comparison to Mono, Six, Seven, and even NPCs like the flashlight girl, they have a lot more going on (especially the little wrench kid, Idk which one is Alone and which one is Low yet btw OOP)

Despite it being a new studio and you can tell, new puzzles and environments, they're still doing their best to have the OGs vibes and whatnot to feel familiar, namely in the trailer they bring back the fuses, and the additional gameplay video there's a short scene with an environment with all the shelves you can find in LTNM 1s gnome section (the one with the cart that is affected by the Maws swaying).

But regardless, it still feels different enough my brain is still nervous about it. I also feel In A Way about Tarsier having LTNM II explode and their franchise getting the attention it deserves, only to have it stuck with Bandai and now it's going to likely explode again and they aren't involved. Idk how anyone on that team feels about it, but if it were me omg.

Also the only boss we've seen so far (i hope they add more and i def want some to be a surprise so im not gonna assume this is the only one for now) feels... out of place? it has the design qualities of a LTNM boss, but the size of it makes it more of a spectacle than a warped/corruption of an adult. All the previous bosses fit in their environment, we are the small ones and they are scaled to the world around them. This is the first time, outside monster Six who imo is a bit of an outlier anyways due to her circumstances, we're getting a boss who is this huge and doesn't even fit their own environment. I hope we get a lore reason for this in some way, because currently the boss doesn't have the same vibe as the others and it's throwing me off a bit. Don't get me wrong, it'll be terrifying, but looking at the picture as a whole they are sort of out of place for me rn. I don't hate the bitch either, I'm not gonna be like omg get rid of it or change it, but it does strike me as odd seeing it for now.

And yes the tall man is too tall for a lot of things, but he's not THAT big. He's more like yer tall guy who hits his head off doorways, which happens irl anyways LMAO

Little Nightmares primarily tries to capture the feeling of being a small child and how everything is big and scary, but a doll that huge is out of the realm of reality set up for us already. It's gone from scary corrupted animal to godzilla, if that makes sense.

OH AND THE MIRRORS ARE VERY LTNM COMICS OF THEM TEE HEE < 3

Lee Heeseung's eyes went as wide as a deer in headlights. Maybe if he wasn't hyper focused on the fact that you had just said that to him, he would have realized he just gave himself whiplash. "Sorry?"

It was probably his poor hearing. The club's music was practically pulsing through his bones at this point, so he wouldn't be surprised if he had completely heard wrong.

But your wide, desperate, dilated eyes were telling him otherwise. You grabbed him by the lapels of his bomber jacket and yanked him toward you. He felt the warmth of your breath dance on his lips and he was trying so, so hard not to look.

But your mouth was right there.

"My ex is right there," you said to him, loud and clear. "Please. He won't bother us if he sees."

Heeseung struggled to swallow, his Adam's apple bobbing roughly. He cleared his throat—oh god, his heart was going to jump out of his ribcage. "Yn, you're not in the right state of mind. We can go to a different part of the club, maybe!"

"He's coming over," you squeaked. "I won't kiss you if you're uncomfortable, Hee, but please—"

Christ, you were begging.

Heeseung leaned over, grabbed you by your cheeks, and swooped you into a kiss. Oh good god, your lips were so soft and pillowy, the kind of heaven that he couldn't have ever imagined. He could feel you relax against him for a split second, before you were pressing your mouth against his with just as much fervor.

The smell of your perfume overwhelmed his senses, made him drunk and dizzy and dazed; he could only dive deeper and deeper.

He tilted your head back to deepen the kiss and pressed you up against the side of the booth, your back flush against cool, polished wood. You whimpered into his mouth, and he nearly melted.

Heart hammering against his chest, he pulled away. Both of your chests rose and fell rapidly as oxygen flooded your lungs. Heeseung searched your eyes, and wondered if you had enjoyed that as much as he had. Wondered if you wouldn't mind if he…

"Your neck is so pretty," he rasped to you, voice hoarse and roughened. His left hand trailed down your jaw and ghosted over your throat— "Can I mark you up, baby?"

There was that dilation. Your eyes widened, and now you were the one gulping. "Yes." You had no clue where this side of Heeseung had come from, but you were suddenly glad that you had asked him to kiss you. Yeah, your ex was gone, but it didn't mean either of you wanted to stop what you had begun.

And as he cupped your neck in one hand and suckled the skin on your collarbone with his mouth, you had no one else but Lee Heeseung on your mind, on your tongue.

My baby Rang 🦊

Gosh, so I know I do thoughts after every episode. But after today's episode, I only want to talk about the one person that I watch this show for and how he is one of the most devoted, loving little brother ever. I don't think I can love him any more than this. He makes my heart hurt with love. So, let's talk about how lovely he is-

I knew, with the string that he handed over to yeon last episode, that he won't let go no matter what if that's Yeon's only way back but to see it happen. Oh god, my boy would legit die before he lets Yeon lose his way back. And well, we all knew this from the last season, coz he actually did die for him but to see that same devotion even in the Rang from 1938 who is still pretending to be mad at him. He makes me cry 🥺. I am not even kidding.

The flashback where he is thinking about how Yeon saved him that day. It breaks my heart to know that That Moment was the first time someone showed care and affection to my boy and from that moment onwards, Yeon has had his loyalty and his love ❤. No matter what Yeon would do going forward, Rang would forever remember that one moment. And no matter what, he would always love him.

" I won't let go. Try all you want. I won't ever, ever let go. " This is my new cry fest.

Bro, even, I won't ever let go of my love for this babyy boy.

3. The fact that I knew last episode itself that he was looking at Cheon moo young with distrust in his eyes. The fact that he had a plan ready to go and get Yeon back himself. Man, Yeon, how did you mess up with this little brother. Like how. My boy legit said that Moo young will have to kill him first, if he intends to kill Yeon. My heart ❤💔 oh god, my heart. He is already so hurt and he still fights to protect his brother 🥺

Just kill me first, with all the feels 🥺

4. And man, I knew what Moo young told him even before they showed it. But the words, the freaking words Moo young used.

Is it wrong if I agree with Moo young here. My boy deserved so much better last season. He deserves so much better than being abandoned, being treated as second best, being made to be the villain that situations pushed him to be. I will fight for this boy and how much he deserves to be loved forever 🥺❤

Yeon, you really have the best brother ever and it's time that you do something to give him the life that he deserves. ❤

5. And well, the bonus freaking scene with Yeo-hee. And I am not just talking about the kiss here. He will protect her even when he is hurt but she is someone who will always put him first, love him and protect him. The promo of next episode where he mentions how he, too wanted to live 🥺.Gosh, I believe to some extent it's because he thinks he has something to live for now. And I am glad if she makes him feel that way. I want this boy to want to live and to get a chance to live 🥺 Please writers, please don't take that away from him, I don't know how but I need them to reverse the shit from season 1 somehow, I need my boy to live and be loved by his brother and his girl the way he deserves. Please. ❤

The way he looks at her ❤🥺.

I need him to be happy the way I need air to breathe guys. I will fly to Korea and kill the writers if they do him dirty this season. I sure will 🥺🪓

Comeback season was close and ATEEZ was still busy preparing for the release of their 3rd Mini Album TREASURE EP.3 One to all.

While Hongjoong and Mingi were writing lyrics and the leader had the honor of actually participating in the production this time around, the dance line was preparing choreography and Jongho working on his vocals.

It left Heeyoung reeling. She was the only one who didn´t have anything to do or prepare!

The girl didn´t have many lines on their tracks and her dancing left a lot of room for improvement. Her dancing had gotten way better over time but compared to Yunho, Wooyoung, Yeosang or even San and Mingi, it was far from the same.

Sitting in on the production sessions EDENARY had showed her that it was something she could see herself doing but again, Heeyoung wasn´t included much.

Maddox looked at the younger girl in worry.

He had noticed Heeyoung hanging back more than usual, trying to make herself useful but the answer was always the same. Stay out of the way!

Talking to her was not going to work. Knowing the 98-liner, it was probably just going to end with Heeyoung shutting herself off and away from them, something he wanted to avoid as best as possible.

The producer was glad to see that her members were also aware of the stand offish behavior seeing as Yunho, Seonghwa and Jongho were hanging around whenever they had time.

Watching the girl sit behind the team, to see if she could pick anything up to remember later on was endearing if he was honest with himself but seeing the line distribution on the papers spread out on the table, made him realize that Heeyoung had the least amount of lines. Again!

He and Hongjoong had tried fighting for a fairer distribution, not just for her but the other members as well. Mainly Yeosang and Wooyoung in that case!

It was late at night when Eden sent her and the leader home.

Hongjoong gathered his things. His eyes fell on Heeyoung who was slumbering lightly on the couch.

“Hee-ah? Come one we´re leaving…”

Shaking her awake gently the boy ruffled Heeyoungs hair.

“Mhhh?”

Slowly rising from the couch, she hummed before getting up and mumbling her goodbyes to Eden, Maddox and Leez.

The 3 men waved, turned back to the computers and Heeyoung left with Hongjoong.

Both members were silent as they walked to the car. Hongjoong kept an eye on the same aged girl.

She looked exhausted beyond compare, more than what her insomnia would usually cause!

“What´s going on? You look tired, more than normal.”

The girl seemed confused by the sudden question, trying to redirect the conversation.

“Nothing´s going on, what do you mean?”

What I mean is that you seem restless and tired. More than usual and I’m beginning to worry.”

“Don’t worry, it´s nothing.”

“Please don´t lie to me Heehee! Something’s bothering you so what is it?”

They reached the van waiting in the garage.

“Like I said, it´s nothing so just leave it!”

Letting out a suffering sigh Heeyoung opened the car door but before she could get in, the leader closed it abruptly again.

He looked all kinds of worried and Heeyoung felt guilty for burdening him with her worries. Mad at herself for not hiding it better from him, she pushed the incoming tears down.

“Talk to me, what´s going on?”

“Nothing Hongjoong, it´s just… that I… Be honest, what do I bring to the group?”

“Huh?”

It took Hongjoong a few seconds to understand the question.

Was this what was bothering her so much? He understood the thought of not being enough but as far as Hongjoong understood, was it Heeyoung and San who were fan magnets!

Yes she didn´t get many lines and he would always fight to get her, and the members with les lines at least more screen time and killing parts but as Heeyoung was the only girl, the company wanted to keep her as the secret weapon.

Her dancing was getting better and Hongjoong and Mingi would kill for the ability to rap like her, not talking about her insane vocal range!

“Where is this coming from? Heeyoung you are a vital part of the team!”

“Who is that possible when I barely get any lines or screen time in any of our performances?! Why not just give my parts to Woo or Yeo? They both deserve to be seen and it wouldn´t be that different to what it´s like now either way.”

He really had to concentrate on not stuttering like a fool. Quickly pulling her towards him and into his arms!

“No! Don´t think that! I know what you feel like but don´t think that you could be replaceable! Not even by any of the kids! What do you think Wooyoung would do if he heard that he would have to take your parts because you were giving them up or Yeosang or any of the boys? They´d riot! Imagine Yunho or Mingi without you to keep them in line? You are a vital part of us and I will never let the company change that! Or you for that matter! Please don´t give up now?”

“How could I not? Hongjoong all I do is hog lines! The others are great at dancing but I’m not! Even you are great at it so what´s keeping me here? What´s keeping me from just giving up altogether?”

“We are and I dare you to say that in front of the boys again, just keep on fighting. At least a little while longer! There´s something I kept to myself because it´s not finalized yet but hear me out okay? I managed to arrange something with EDEN; you could have an entire song on the next Album! BUT you´d have to produce it yourself! Write the lyrics yourself and everything, with help of course but the main part would be yours! But please don´t give up Hee-ah?!”

Ending his sentence, Hongjoong was begging. He didn´t want to imagine ATEEZ without her and he knew that the boys wouldn’t want to either!

It´s 9 makes 1 Team or none for them!

Heeyoung didn´t know what to say. On one side the girl didn´t believe that anything would change for the group if she were to give up, listening to her friend begging her to do anything stupid on the other hand was something she never wanted to hear again.

“Hongjoong…”

“No please don´t! I´ll make it work but please don´t give up?”

…

“I won´t…”

Hongjoong let out a relieved sob. He didn´t notice the tears leaving his eyes! Only when he felt Heeyoungs gentle touch on his cheeks, wiping away the salty offender did he realize he was crying.

The girl herself was losing the fight against her own tears.

She felt even worse making the usually composed leader cry. He was her brother from another mother just like the other members and she´d do anything to never see any of her found family cry again. Much less because of her!

smth i wanna talk ab is their friendships on the show and moments that i think ab A LOTTT

- heeseung and jungwon!! i think they grew close very early on esp bc they were in iland together from the start and u could see how sad hee was when jungwon almost got emiminated. like boy was in tears SOBBING when jungwon came back from that dam egg and i felt in that moment u could rlly see how much jungwon meant to him and he couldnt lose him

- JAY AND NIKI like when jay came back to iland and cried that niki didnt make it 😭 they were THAT DUO™️ in the ground stressing out teaching everyone fire. i think they were the perfecr pair to lead bc they both had an insane amount of passion and determination like niki was one of the only ones that understood why jay wanted them to keep practicing and not fall behind bc they both knew how much was on the line. they were also on the same team multiple times which caused them to grow close and the fact that jay was one of the ones who could speak japanese so niki definitely clung onto him and jay would help him out a lot :')

- SUNOO AND JAEBEOM. one of the most purest friendships on the show i swear. they experienced ground and iland together and in the behind cams THEY LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE GOSSIPING ALL THE TIME IT WAS SO CUTE. and the fact that sunoo used one of his calls to call jaebeom omg 😭 theyre probably still friends til this day since sunoo cherishes all of his friendships i rlly need them to vlog tgth or smth i miss them sm

- sunoo and taki 😭 when sunoo said he wanted taki as a real little brother I SOBBED. i think another anon talked ab them so i wont get into it much but im so happy theyre still close and we see them interact a lot

- enha 02z omg. iland is where jakehoon rlly took off and it was so endearing to witness their friendship blossom on the show. and jayhoon ☹️☹️☹️ i love every jay duo in enha but jayhoon (and heejay) takes the cake for me. when sunghoon worried more about taking jays place during the dance unit over winning it showed how much their friendship means to him. and when jay says the iconic line "my one and only unit" LIKE THEY ENTERED ILAND TOGETHER AND DEBUTED TOGETHER IT CANT BE MORE PERFECT THAN THAT. and during pt. 2 i loved how in the behind cams we got to see all 3 of them get closer and become the iconic 02z trio we know and love today (im just so happy they all got to debut together it was seriously fate)

- jay and k. so yes, k was really bad on the show and his competitiveness got the best of him. it was sad to watch how he treated other ppl sometimes and i'll say hes grown from it and is in &team now and takes care of the members well. (i watched &audition and his character development was crazy so good for him) but in iland u can tell how much jay really values k as an older brother. jay was one of the older contestants so he probably felt like he had to shoulder a lot and be a leader but when k is around i feel like he got to relax a little more yk? and as we know enha and esp jay dont really have many friends outside of the group (besides sunoo) and im glad theyre still very close til this day.

omg yes there were so many cute friendships that i wish mnet covered more !! :( jungwon and heeseung were so meant to be friends like 🥹🥹 omg in the ghost episode when jungwon slept in heeseung's bed was the first time i realized that he rlly lets himself be a kid around hee 🥰 NO YEAH MY HEART BROKE THAT EPISODE 😭 heeseung's sobbing actually hurt me holy shit i hate mnet for what they put those boys through

omg i felt so sad when jay went up without riki and started crying into k's shoulder 😭 ALSO WHEN JAY DID HIS MASSAGES FOR EVERYONE LOLL i definitely feel like jay jake riki and sunoo (and daniel) grew a lot closer in ground but i was so soft for jayki:') 💘💘 OMG YES SUNOO AND JAEBEOM WERE SO CUTE i just feel like they matched each other's energy so well !! i wish iland showed more interactions because jaebeom clearly had gotten close with more ilanders (sunghoon nominating him for parts, them using sunoo's call to call jaebeom) but i think mnet just focused on the drama + training + a few select friendships

that part where taki was crying on his way to ground and sunoo held his hand and walked him to the building ☹️☹️ they were too cute!!! but yes i remember their pictures together from hanging out n im so happy they're still close 🥰 omg "my one and only unit" changed the trajectory of my life forever like it's been my bio for two years now because of how insane of a hold it has over me 😵‍💫 02z were so so cute :')) part of the reason why i was so sad that ej got eliminated in pt 1 but we got so many cute jaykehoon moments 🥹💖 the entire ghost episode made me ADOREEE them like jake and sunghoon going everywhere together and pranking jay in the bathroom,, then their little dispute "i'll walk you to your room and then we'll walk to mine" "you cant even walk to your room by yourself??" and then jake getting all riled up and saying he could only to run back to sunghoon 😭😭 AND JAY AND JAKE SAYING THEYD SHOWER TOGETHER BC THEY WERE SO SCARED 😭🤚

omg yes jay was so cute around k he let himself be a little brother 🥹🥹 i think he needed that person he could go to and be vulnerable because he tried to put up a strong front a lot of the time and was under so much pressure 🤧 literally cried at the part of him writing all of those letters with his mosquito bitten hands :(( omg yeah i wanna know if enha have more idol friends HAHHA i know heeseung's friends with jeongin, beomgyu, and lim jimin and i know a few members are friends with tnx members OH and shotaro and riki are friends 🥰🥰💖💖

I've been keeping a secret for longer than seems helpful, and I'm starting to feel like a lurker in a trench coat and one of those novelty glasses-mustache disguises, so uhhhhhhhhh. Announcement:

I'm in the process of writing a three-part Halo fanfiction series! Part one is already complete and we are underway with part two.

I wasn't going to say anything, but now it feels weirder not to? I kept it close to my chest bc

1. Shy

2. I'm out of practice with creative writing generally

3. I'm new to this, so I wanted to feel it out first and;

4. I knew that for an undertaking like this, i needed to stay laser-focused, and to do that, I needed to cut out the noise. Just me and the text. Otherwise I would have felt a lot of pressure.

It was also kind of a challenge to myself, as if to prove that I was writing for myself and only myself, I had to tell no one. I had to go in with zero expectations. But the longer I go, the more I'm sad I can't share. Writing and feedback is such a communal thing that I effectively cut myself out of for over a year now, and the more time passed, the more I felt like I couldn't say anything. But then some of the lovely folks on here started interacting with some of my other writing on there and I feel weirder not saying anything.

So, what's it about? The series is called Don't Go Where I Can't Find You and is, at its core, an interspecies love story. You're shocked, I know. But, it is also:

A story about grief in a traumatized galaxy, and how that shapes us. It's a story where the ghosts are as much characters as the living. It's a story about the people who don't get to be heroes, the people who actually suffer the consequences of the machinations going on above them. It is about people who feel desperate and alone. It is melancholy.

On the other hand, it's about love! And healing. It's about taking risks and relearning how to be happy. It's about family and facing generational trauma. It's about grappling with new normals and writing your own story.

It is unashamedly a love story and can get saccharine and ooey-gooey at times. It also gets sexy. You have been warned.

I personally love every single Halo character and want to give them a little kissy. That being said, they tend to be exceptional or heroic or powerful and that's not what I wanted for this story. This story is about normal folks, so I created a lot of normal folks. If you're looking for your favs, they are not in here, and even when they appear, they will not be at the forefront of the story.

More than anything, this story is me playing in the Halo sandbox and loving it. I am getting to explore so much lore and really sink my teeth into the aspects of the universe that appeal to me the most. I can't verify it, but I think I've extrapolated well (and have yet to be proven wrong!!). This is my labor of love and the biggest creative undertaking I've taken on in 8 years.

Sorry for the paragraphs, it's just that I was going to brush it off as a "tee hee, surprise, nbd" sort of thing, but actually I've been busting my ass for over a year and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. I poured (and continue to pour) my heart into this, and would be glad if you took a look. Maybe there's something in there for you.

And the BEST news is I get to interact with everyone on AO3 without feeling like I'm creeping under the floorboards.

So I'll start with the fact that I am, indeed, a fan of Chibnall's era. I am an even bigger fan of the 13th Doctor. I'll also start with the fact that I quite literally grew up with RTD's writing and loved Ten with all my heart. But now I am an adult and some of RTD's writing has left me a bit scared. Here's my "live streaming" review on The Star Beast. SPOILERS BELOW!

I'm going in order of how I processed things, so it's gonna be chaotic. My first essay is this: You know why this post is so long? It's because we're not livestreaming things anymore. I'm not immediately with other fans in real time, typing out our little posts. I'm quite literally doing this at my leisure. I'll miss watching DW live. Now then, in order! 1. The music? Ten out of ten. I have always loved Gold's compositions and he did not let us down. And this opinion is only being generated from the new(er) theme song. Which leads me to...

2. Look at the B U D G E T. Even the opening credits has a budget that you can just FEEL. Those stars/galaxies? Very nice... And then I have to chuckle over the low level lighting / 2000s era effects of David Tennant's full profile voiceover of Donna and his story.

3. Him taking the boxes, seeing Donna's face, and slowly putting the boxes back is an RTD special and I LOVE that kind of comedy. It just makes me chuckle. And then him having a full blown panic over hearing Donna shout "Rose!" which... 4. Having these little call back moments feels rather bitter since we're calling this a reboot of the show. UNLESS the reboot is when Nucti starts up? But the fact that I'm confused just shows how bitter I should be. Again, my Chibnall love is showing. I don't believe in yet another reboot for DW, but that's a marketing thing over anything else... I hope. 5. I'm glad the 2000s Rose/Doctor shipping era lives strong through the name Rose. I know those fans are going to be happy and they deserve it. 6. NOW... Donna having a family. Okay. I'll have a separate post but... Does anyone else think that Donna having a husband just doesn't fit for her? Especially with her memories erased? Idk, I just never envisioned Donna getting married after the whole Lance thing. BUT I'm glad she's happy and the husband seems so nice. 7. Donna giving up that lottery money? Also strange considering she lost her memories. The first time we meet Donna we get this feeling that she's a bit shallow, which makes sense because she has to develop as a character. That was her character development so here KEEPING the money would have made more sense here. Which...

8. Rose. That's all. She's great!

9. Hey, can't help but notice, but when did the 14th Doctor have time to make a new screwdriver, huh? What gives? AND - AND there's not a single hint of 13's sonic on there. HMM. What the heck!

10. FORGOT SOMETHING. Whatever the line was "that says mistress" "Oh, catch up, will you?" I don't know how to take in this scene quite yet, but it's making me pause. It felt... Off kilter. Maybe cause I love 13 so much, I don't know. There's always callbacks to other faces when the Doctor first regenerations, but this felt... Wrong? Also, TEE HEE my mind went to Missy IMMEDIATELY and I love that little connection my fic writing brain is going wild.

11. WHY DOES UNIT HAVE SO MUCH MONEY???? Look at this uniforms, holy cow! I almost don't like it? Like, they're an underground agency. WE JUST SAW THEM GET DESTROYED BY CYBERMEN IN THE POWER OF THE DOCTOR. Are we just ignore that entire episode or...?

12. Donna not being able to keep a job? Yeah, THAT one I believe haha.

13. "I will burn down the world for you, darling" says Donna Noble to her transgender kid. WHICH IS AMAZING, WHICH MADE ME SMILE SO WIDE I WAS HAVING A PARTY IN MY BRAIN. There's my Donna! 14. "Gramps used to talk about flying saucers" oh god my heart. I teared up a little, not going to lie. Wilf, I think about you every single day. You made the Doctor the person he is today.

15. MEEP IS SO CUTE. OH WOW. I know "evil" is coming but SO CUTE RIGHT NOW.

16. To go from some excellent animatronics from the Meep to whatever those alien, fly things are was HILARIOUS. What, we'd run out of money for those costume's? Were they meant to look like a typical RTD alien back in the 2000s? How does that work?

17. WHAT THE ACTUAL FLYING FUCK WAS THE SONIC DOING. Wait, did Disney give the sonic some magical powers? Why are we suddenly writing in the air? How are we getting readouts of the ship from the sonic like that? Could it do that before? Why would we not do that before? I'm dying that's so funny.

18. Shirley seems cool!!! I hope we get more of her! And I love the nod to PROPER representation. Chibs did a good job of that as well. Edit: REAL representation! Good on RTD. The scene with the stairs and she says "don't make me the problem"... I am not a wheelchair user but I do hope that was properly done. 19. "I absolutely love her [Donna]" LOOK AT 14 HAVING FEELINGS! Aww, I hope 15 follows through with the feelings! 11, 12, and 13 have been so locked up, so scared to love... Having a Doctor that's ready to loudly embrace their love for things would be such a good character development. (My fear would be RTD ripping that away in the most tragic way possible, but that's a future problem I suppose).

20. I'm at the scene where Rose is talking to the Meep in the shed, and just, again, THE MUSIC. We did have some good musical moments in 13's era but, even I have to admit, nothing as pretty as this. It really is something, round of applause once again.

21. LISTEN. L I S T E N. I don't condone slapping the Doctor. I don't. In fact, it's wrong. It's very wrong. And you can't slap 13, can you? So slapping 14 shouldn't make sense. It's the definition of sexist. It's just not something you should do. BUT. B U T. Jackie's "stitch this, mate" is always in my head and now THIS "here we go again" after Sylvia gives the Doctor a good slap... I laughed, okay? It was funny! But really, in the good year of 2023, there shouldn't be comedy like that. That joke should have died. BUT I LAUGHED. So I'm to blame as well.

22. "Never mind about the ferret from mars." I LOVE the mars callback from Donna, thank you very much.

23. Kate looking after Wilf damn near brought tears to my eyes. Kate, you are the real hero of the DW universe. Thank you.

24. This is... This is gonna be another post. But. Okay. So. The whole "you're assuming he as a pronoun". Right. Okay. I know groups of people that talk like that. Both online and in person. Personal life spoiler, I work(ed) in musical theater. I've seen it all. I, personally, do not like this whole... "Let's be really obvious about it" thing. And also highly believe in someone else first telling me, when it fits, what their pronouns are. Having someone pull the defensive "YOU ASSUMED" crap doesn't work because humans don't think like that. It's a whole other rant, but yeah. This felt forced and I hate when shows do that. Representation is important but FORCING that representation doesn't help.

25. what's the. what's the sonic doing. what. how'd it. we got lines in the air. we got unbelievable shield. we. he waved it like a wand and now. what the. how'd. (Yo, not me head cannoning that this is 13 banging around in 14's head demanding that they have a better way to protect their friends. Love it). I WILL HAVE A LOT MORE THOUGHTS ON THIS.

26. DW has money now. That will continue to blow my mind.

27. "This is a sonic screwdriver and if it's good at one thing, it's resonating concrete". Oh yeah, Doctor? I'd like to bring forth you, never once, being able to do it. Not once! (And now it's good at creating magical shields and complex, alien holograms, but that's point #25)

28. Where'd in hell's name did he get that wig and how soon can Donna throw it out a window?

29. MEEP YOU - YOU UTTER AHOLE. Man, it was SO CUTE

30. O k a y. I take back, holy crap what point am I on? I take back point #7. So there's some of the Doctor left in her, eh? That's why! I dig that. I really, really dig that. Sorry for being a downer, that was my mistake.

31. I too can come up with technobabble bullcrap that means nothing. I sometimes think that's RTD's biggest failing, his incessant need to over describe things. EDIT. JEEZ, a good five minutes later as we're STILL talking gibberish.

32. Hey, I see you "glass wall between Donna and the Doctor" and raise you "glass wall between Wilf and the Doctor". OW. I demand emotional compensation!

33. Listen, I just got over 13 keeping every. single. emotion inside of her. She never raised her voice, she never really cried, she never had a chance to just scream and yell and be angry at the universe. The fact that there's 14 RIGHT HERE, screaming, because to save Donna, he has to lose her YET AGAIN. Just angry and devastated and grieving... It's a stunning scene, it's a scene that makes sense, but my 13 loving little heart says that this is 13's moment to be angry and it was taken from her.

34. Also, ha, I know Disney bought DW, but did we just "Winter Soldier" Donna Noble. We gave her trigger words to keep her memories at bay? Really?

35. "Hold on a minute," said in Ten's/Fourteenth's voice... Was that.. Was that ELVEN'S theme music while Donna was being, well, Time Lady Donna? Because that was... That was GOLDEN. How amazing is that? What a great idea!

36. You MONSTER, RTD, making Fourteen hold Donna the same way he held the Master? What the hell is that about?

37. The.. The nonbinary, but binary. I... It's... Something! Okay, I'll get there. I'll have a post about it. Maybe. But. Yeah, it's something!

38. DOES UNIT HAVE AVENGERS *cough* sorry it's been a while for Marvel me *cough* STARK TOWER. WAS THAT STARK TOWER? Damn, Disney, you really did bring us back to superwholock Avenger's "Clint in the vents" era, huh?

39. "It's a shame you're not a woman anymore, because she would have understood... Something a male presenting Time Lord will never understand." You can't... You can't do the whole "nonbinary" thing and that just immediately point out gender like that. What. The defeats the entire purpose. The whole point you're trying to make is that gender DOESN'T matter, and yet... And the Doctor has always, always been nonbinary. I refer to the Doctor as "they" when speaking as a collective whole, and many of us have done that. I use pronouns when talking about specific Doctors because humans have always used pronouns. Again, 11 and 13 have made mention that gender has NEVER mattered to them. I just... You can't be poking a bear and then expecting the bear to not to come after you if you've changed the poking object from a stick to a teaser.

40. I gotta laugh that Rose and Donna had the most peaceful "regeneration" we've ever seen. Somewhere in there, a Doctor or two is screaming lol.

41. Oh... The TARDIS is ugly. DON'T HIT ME. STOP HITTING ME. I MEAN It. Not, for real though, Oh my god, what. Why. The colors. Or lack of colors, really. What the fuck. Where's the... Where's the personality? Where's the sass? I've loved every single TARDIS change but THIS... This is a hard one to swallow.

42. The TARDIS having an shit fit over Donna spilling coffee on her is WONDERFUL. That's so funny to me. With everything she's been through with 13, that was just the best way for her to get her revenge! All in all, strange episode, yeah? I mean, what WAS that plot? It was really more of setup for the next episode, and double really meant to reunite ten and Donna, which was well done, but also... Why? It just felt a bit all over the place but very much cushioned by nostalgia. I'm done now. My fingers HURT. As always, and as I say in all my fics, I'm here if you want to chat. Gwitch s2 e4: The Cycle of Sin

I'm glad Miorine is back with Earth House and Suletta! She's so happy :3

It's really unsettling when Suletta says she'll do whatever Prospera asks of her, even kill using gundams, though she's obviously troubled by this line of questioning. She can't get out of the cult mindset on her own, but hopefully she'll have slightly more doubt going forward...

Also, I'm so glad Mio doesn't get mad *at* her—rather, she gets mad *for* her and confronts the true source of the problem. She's not stupid and knows first hand how manipulative Prospera is, so it's good that she doesn't blame Suletta for it.

It's chilling that Prospera literally does not think of Suletta as anything but a tool in her revenge/for her 'real' daughter during her confrontation with Miorine, and the whole "hee hee do you want to have your way with her next?" is soooo gross

I'm curious about where the Space Assembly League plot is going, and I'm slightly worried that 8 eps will not be enough to wrap Witch from Mercury's story up and have a satisfying ending? There are quite a lot of plot points that need to be resolved, and while the show has a quick pace idk if they can address all those in a satisfying manner.

It's interesting that they cut to Felsi at that point of the couch duo's conversation. It seems to imply that Felsi will be gunning for the Holder title herself, and with how many times Suletta talks about how she hasn't lost a duel yet, it's foreshadowing that Suletta *will* lose. I've seen speculation that Miorine orchestrates to have another Holder in order to make Suletta a less attractive tool to Prospera and to get the backing of one of the big three—if that pans out, it might also add an obstacle on the Mio/Suletta romance that they can overcome together.

Also, Felsi already felt excluded by Lauda and Petra's closeness last ep, and this time only Lauda and Petra got to reunite with Guel, so Felsi might be doing what she can for Jeturk Heavy Machinery using the skills she has with very limited information. I'm looking forward to see how her character develops in future episodes.

I hope Guel doesn't do anything dumb, his family and team needs him. Jeturk Heavy Machinery's reputation is dragged through the mud, they're going bankrupt, the Group and stakeholders need an explanation for why Jeturk MS were piloted by the terrorists, and there's an upcoming election for a new Benenit Group president, so Guel is coming back to a volatile situation. Also, the fact that Guel accidentally killed his father will come out eventually—I'm scared about what will happen to the brothers when that gets revealed... And on the same note, Shaddiq's involvement in the terrorist attack will also get revealed eventually, maybe even during the election for the Benerit Group's next president (PLEASE).

Sabina being confirmed Earthian implies that all the girls in Shaddiq's squad are Earthians, or has Earthian heritage like him—my guess is that they all came from the same orphanage, or at the very least Shaddiq and Sabina did. Their group is an interesting look into how marginalized groups wield power & status once they've been (conditionally) accepted into the privileged group, and how they don't necessarily treat others within the marginalized group they were once part of with any more sympathy/kindness. Or like, they still treat Nika and Sophie+Norea like pawns in their grand scheme, despite their grand goal of redistributing the power dynamics.

Sabina's adoption by Grassley also suggests interesting CSR practices within Grassley—Shaddiq's adoptive dad was shocked and dismayed by the events of the prologue, so I guess he and his company adopt Earthian children to "make up for it"? Since Vanadis Institute was working with an Earthian company. It's also possibly a critique on international adoption practices, where the adoptive parents see their children's native culture as inferior and has a savior complex about it.

(Also, we finally see one (1) dude in Shaddiq's faction, and he looks quite a lot older than Shaddiq, so I wonder what his deal is. We also see Shaddiq's faction is the weakest within Grassley, but they seem convinced they'll come out on top quickly, so I'm guessing they got blackmail on hand. They should damn well hope none of their own skeletons get dragged out at inopportune moments lol.)

I'm looking forward to the Benerit Group president arc—Shaddiq is extremely confident, but I'm equally confident that he'll get his smug ass kicked. He wrote Miorine off as a contender and doesn't seem to be aware of Guel's return, so he's deffo getting blindsided by at least one of them.

I also can't help but notice Peil doesn't seem to be pushing for their own contender in this ep—it fits their practice re: enhanced clones, in that they'll let someone else be the face (i.e. the Group's president) and pull strings from the shadows. Since El5n is unable to steal Ariel's secrets, they might back Miorine as president in an attempt to get at them, or even just because Mio isn't directly affiliated with one of the other big three, so them backing her gives them leverage further down the road—she'll owe them, and they don't have to contend with the pressures of Mio's own company; a Grassley candidate will have to answer to Grassley's interest first, and likewise for a Jeturk candidate. Gundam Inc. is a tiny company with little ability to push back against one of the big three, so by corporate logic Miorine 'has to' put them first.

On the subject of Peil, Belmeria talking about how she had no choice but to make enhanced clones on Peil's payroll in front of an enhanced clone whose life was fucked over because of the procedure she helped develop sure was a dumbass move—I understand that the Vanadis massacre was traumatizing and she needed to survive, but ngl I was rooting for El5n during their confrontation. And the clones are a foil to Suletta in terms of their lack of agency/autonomy—Suletta is raised to be blindly obedient through Prospera's fake care for Suletta's well-being, while the clones are not given any care and directly threatened with death for any perceived failures or refusals of compliance... but both Prospera and the Peil company sees them as nothing more but disposable tools. If given the chance, the clones will bite back, but someone who was brainwashed like Suletta would struggle a lot more with turning against their abusers.

Eri's confrontation with El5n is quite interesting: I assumed she let El4n pilot her because he was with Suletta and got her okay to do so. However, Miorine did not get Suletta's consent to pilot Ariel, but she emerged fine from the experience. Likewise, El5n did not get Suletta's consent to pilot Ariel, but unlike Miorine, he ended up violently rejected. IMO either Eri can tell that El5n intends to snoop around and uncover her secrets (Miorine didn't have that intent), or the reaction is because of El5n's enhanced Parmet sensitivity/data storm resistance (which Mio most likely lacks), or a combination of both. So far the only people who saw Eri were El4n, Sophie and El5n, all of whom are gundam pilots, and Eri/Ariel says "mom can't hear my voice" in the novella, suggesting that you have to have a certain level of Permet sensitivity(?) to communicate with her, and that maybe she only acts defensively if someone with the required Permet level who she doesn't trust is in the picture? idk if she can forcibly override the Permet scores of someone who is not receptive (connected to the GUND format), which might be why Miorine was okay back in the first ep.

the sentiment of "ends doesn't justify the means" has come up at least twice this ep, and I hope it will be more nuanced than how it's usually portrayed in most media—yanno, the kind of thing where it's like "the oppressed radical group has a good point! quick, make them so evil that the moderate course of action is the only morally justifiable one by comparison" etc etc.

Also I hope the power dynamics and structures will have a meaningful change at the end of the show, instead of "dw the right person is the supreme overlord now, so everything's gonna be okay" that a lot of stories default to. It's easy to criticize and replace a person in power; it's hard to criticize and change an oppressive system that perpetuates inequality and the suffering of minorities/the disadvantaged. the former is a superficial easy fix with no real substance, while the latter is meaningful but takes skill to write about. I'm... optimistic but cautious about Okouchi Ichirou's abilities—I've heard decent things about Code Geass, but I was personally disappointed by the ending of Sk8 (hopefully season 2 will be better?), and I've heard his endgame plots can be very divisive.
