I don't care if Theodore's transgender (according to a number of fans and not any official sources, as far as I'm aware), that doesn't change that he canonically endorses eugenics.

As long as I am neurodivergent, which I will be until the day I die, endorsing eugenics will be reason enough for me to hate him, regardless of what other marginalized status he might have.

Deaged Oz AU - A Delayed Conversation Or Five

Tip looked rather uncomfortable and very small, sat in a chair, trying not to meet any of his friends eyes. He was aware, of course he was, that not telling them he was alive wasn't actually the best idea he'd ever had. But things had got so complicated so quickly, and... they'd really missed him? Actually mourned? He'd thought Glynda might, but the others actually cared that much?

But no, Peter and Barty looked confused but deeply hurt and Theodore seemed to be crumpling and uncrumpling something in his hand rhythmically. Oh dear, he did hope that Theo's gloves wouldn't set it on fire. But then, maybe if they did he would be less likely to set Tip on fire, too?

Winter stood in the corner, watching the others with hard eyes, ready to step in if anyone attempted to hurt Tip at all. Nobody had said anything yet, but it was only a matter of time...

"Why didn't you tell us you were alive, Oz?" Theo's voice sounded strangely plaintive, very loud in the previously silent room. Tip just sighed, glancing up to meet his gaze.

"Would it have mattered? How can I really do anything I need to, like this?" He gestured down at his frail, eleven year old body, a challenge in his eyes. "Who would follow something like, well... this?"

"We would. Brothers, Oz, you're our friend! So what if you're tiny and adorable right now? You're still Oz and that's what matters."

Tip scowled at being called adorable, but a shadow of something crossed his face. "What would have happened, then? Beacon fell... I'm just a child, Theo... all anyone would see is a little boy."

"We would have helped." Glynda's voice was steely. "We still can, you just need to let us. We care, Oz... just let us care."

"Why, though? I failed, Glynda... Miss Nikos paid the price for my failure. I couldn't protect her, I couldn't protect team RWBY or Jaune... what use am I?"

"So you failed. We all have. You get up and try again, as you always have. You might be very, very old, Oz... but you're not all knowing. I keep telling you that the weight of Remnant is far too much for you to attempt to bear alone... it will crush you if you try."

"Salem can't die." Tip said, bluntly, nervously playing with his fingers. "I was told I couldn't defeat her. Or rather... a version was. I've been told it was a pretty stupid question, but... what if we can't?"

"Then we deal with her another way. That would have been good to know, but at least you're telling us now... why didn't you say anything?"

Theo looked like he wanted to interject, but stopped at the look Glynda was giving him. Peter and Barty still just seemed deeply confused.

"I... I was worried that it would cause people to stop fighting. To stop even trying to defeat her... to let her win. James almost did."

"That's James though, I'm not James and I'm not letting you fight her alone. We're hunters, Oz, we fight monsters."

"We do." Peter interjected, sounding grave. "I do not really fully understand what is going on right now, but Salem is a monster. You are not."

"Why ARE you a child, Ozpin?" Barty asked, eyes brightening as he bounced in his seat, acting far younger than Tip ever would, knowingly at least.

"There was a complication. When Cinder Fall tried to kill me, it backfired rather. I ended up at ten, a child in a crater. I've been reliably informed it may have taken several years off dear Qrow's life."

"Yes, well, speaking of Qrow... why didn't he tell us you were alive?"

"We were rather busy the last two years, Glynda. It slipped my mind as I'm sure it did his. Please don't be too hard on him?"

"I'll be hard on both of you. I'm still very angry with you, you know. But oh, I'm so very glad that you're alive!" Glynda rushed over, then, enveloping Tip in a tight hug. He let himself relax into it, hot tears soaking into her shoulder.

"I thought you'd hate me. That you all would..."

"We really do need to work on your self esteem, Oz... that or you need to give us a list of those that hurt you." Theo's voice was shaking slightly, though he looked furious, it didn't seem to be at Tip.

"The latter." Winter spoke up from her corner. "We need that list, uncle..."

Theo blinked at the address Winter used for Tip before taking a second, longer look at the tiny silver haired boy in Glynda's arms.

He blinked hard, then started to laugh. That broke some of the tension, Theo's laugh was deep and infectious and soon all the others were laughing too. Tip, still being hugged by Glynda, scowled slightly. He wasn't certain just what was so funny... but at least he had his friends back?

Glynda is the vice headmistress - now headmistress - of Beacon Academy. She is Ozpins left and right hand woman and someone who has been with him through everything during his time as headmaster.

We've seen posts going on and on about Qrow and the other members of the inner circle, especially the ones that have characters to do with The Wonderful Wizard of Oz but they never mention her or how she copes with everything. I think I might try and fix that.

(T.W: this is going to contain a theory of mine on how her semblance works),

Glynda's semblance, as we know, is telekinesis. She moves objects on either smaller or larger scales and has the ability to fix and repair things with her mind. We've seen her control and fix things on large scales before (the breach and the food fight) and as we know by now a semblance is a special power made by the soul/ Aura to fit one's personality, mental, or emotional state.

Depending on your mental and emotional health your semblance can evolve it doesn't matter if your feelings are negative or not your semblance will automatically evolve and to stay compatible with your personality and traits, you can still train it to get stronger though. Ren and Ruby are perfect examples for this.

Glynda is a vice headmistress, a member of the inner circle, Ozpins closest confident, a renowned huntress, and a combat teacher and disciplinarian at Beacon Academy. The most successful and prestigious of all four Academies. Safe to say she's got a lot of power at Beacon. We see that she cares about the students following the rules and staying on track while trying to enforce said rules. She has control on just about everything at Beacon. We also see that she's trying to keep everything together, keep her students safe, keep Ironwood trusting Ozpin, keep the school in shape. She needs to keep things together or else they'll break and fall apart.

After the fall of Beacon we see her trying to put a shop back together using her semblance...but it doesn't work. She's out of breath and confused. Yes you could play it off as she's probably tired from doing other things like putting Beacon back together. But that is not the case. We see that she's started putting the school back together later on after helping repair the city in the books, and the rest of the city still looks very much destroyed.

I have a theory on how a part of her semblance might work.

She needs to KNOW. That's it. She just needs to know. We all know her fairy tale inspiration is Glynda the Good witch of the east and that she is someone very important and someone with knowledge on just about everything. Glynda doesn't know anymore. She doesn't know what happened to her students, she doesn't know what happened to Lionheart or Ironwood, she doesn't know about Oscar or Emerald's redemption, and she doesn't know about Raven, Winter, Penny, Fria, or the maidens. The Good Witch lost her knowledge.

We also don't know how young (or old) she was when she unlocked her semblance. If it was when she was young as in a child or pre teen then I was right and she did not have a fun childhood like the rest of the cast, if it was when she was a student - a new huntress, then the stress was probably getting to her, if it was recent - as in slightly before canon - then the stress finally got to her but she didn't show it (most unlikely in terms of timeline and experience with her semblance (most likely in terms of stress) or it could be all of them but she just didn't show it because of being stubborn and a workaholic

RWBY BEYOND! EP1!

So first look at Theodore and a likely the summer maiden in just 1 episode!

Wow...I'm actually a little cautious about that much in 3 minutes, I'm worried that RB is trying to rush out lore and try to catch some loose threads out of fear there won't be a V10, which might make V10 harder to pace should it ever happen, I understand the theory Im just a little apprehensive about it.

But yeah this was a great first episode, hearing Neptune and Sun again is really nice and I love the art style, it's more different to world of remnant than I thought and I love it, plus that team rocket reference at the end was great

Can't wait for more
