boyfriend!soobin who is so excited yet so, so nervous for you to meet odi, his cute lil pet hedgehog,, he knows that a hedgehog is not the most conventional pet, but once he see that you're just as eager as him, the nerves twisting his stomach into knots quickly fade away <3

boyfriend!soobin who decides to make a whole date out of it because why not? he takes you out to a cute lil cafe and then you go for a walk through a small botanical garden nearby, hand in hand and both of you sporting bright grins as you talk. before you know it, you're heading back to his place, the sky above a bright, cloudless blue and the sun high in the sky, reflecting your lighthearted, giddy moods ^^

boyfriend!soobin who opens the front door for you while he warns you that his pet can be a bit...standoffish at first when meeting new people. he tells you about how the little guy bit yeonjun when he first met him, mimicking the screech that the older boy emitted when it happened. "soobin, am i gonna get rabies? oh my god! i'm gonna get rabies!" soobin dramatically mocks, loud enough for yeonjun to open his bedroom door and stare out at the two of you menacingly. you're nearly crying in laughter at the scene while soobin quickly drags you into his own room — but not without a quick, disingenuous "sorry, hyung!" before he's slamming the door shut..the two of you collapse into a heap of limbs onto his bed, laughing together until you're breathless <333

boyfriend!soobin who, once both of you calm down, guides you over to odi's enclosure and sits down cross-legged next to you, his knee bumping against your own. you watch quietly as he reaches down to pick the hedgehog up, cooing at how gently soobin cups him in his hands,, he asks if you'd like to try and hold him, too, and you nod, albeit a bit hesitantly. odi is adorable, but soobin's brief warning still rings in your mind...you just want odi to like you, okay? the corner of your boyfriend's lips curl up in a tiny, reassuring smile as he says that it's okay, you can work up to that, setting odi down so that he can wander

boyfriend!soobin who is astonished when odi immediately scurries up to you and tries to climb into your lap. you gasp quietly as you pick him up, the hedgehog adorably curling up in your palms before you set him down on your thighs, where he lays peaceful and unbothered. when you look back up at soobin, heart racing as you smile in disbelief, you find him wide-eyed, lips parted in shock at the sight. "he likes you already," he breathes, grinning as he watches his beloved pet allow you to gently pet his spines ^^

Hello Starry! I just had a thought about your Danyal al Ghul AU, and didn't have anyone else to share it with, so here we go:

If in this universe Bruce is Jewish, and Danny knows this(probably from a google search), he may wear a Star of David necklace to have a piece of his father with him at all times, since he knows he will never get to meet him. Or maybe the necklace sits in a box under a floorboard, because he can't stand the constant reminder of the father he'll never get to have. Maybe he observes Sam and her family celebrate Jewish holidays, or he learns how to by himself, but uses the time to mourn, instead of celebrate.

Anyways, hope all is well, and thank you for sharing your writing!

But dude BOTH of these ideas are soo?? GOOD and ANGSTY. I love angsty. Danny would for sure know if Bruce was Jewish, lil guy did an obsessive amount of research on his dad the moment he got his hands on a computer and figured out how they worked. Danny has like, a three inch thick folder almost on his father alone. Anything he could get his hands on, he's got it. That thickness is almost exclusively from his first like, six months in Amity Park. He keeps it in a box in his closet, along with his growing-folder on Damian and his achievements as Damian Wayne. He pages through it when he's feeling like mourning.

First off: him wearing a Star of David necklace to feel connected to Bruce. That is SO sad and I love it so much. He bought it with an allowance he'd been given when he first started living with the Fentons, he keeps it tucked under his shirt so nobody even knows he has it. Sam and Tucker don't until it slips out while he's hanging out with them and when they ask him about it, Danny very reluctantly tells them that his father is Jewish. When he's distracted, nervous, or sad, he fidgets with it. How this looks is that he looks like he's kinda rubbing his chest, like ungrasping and grasping something.

Second Off: him keeping it in a box under the floorboards. That is also so, so good. He's got it in the box along with a few other things that remind him of his father and Damian and his mother. He takes it out when he's feeling particularly lonely and homesick, it's a feeling that never really goes away even after five years of living in Amity Park. It's like a longing for something you'll never see again, but isn't that just how grief works? i can just imagine him sitting against the bed, late at night and back from patrol. He's still in his ghost form, his katana laid on the ground next to him, and his almost bird-like cape pooling down beside him as he cups the necklace in his hand like he's cradling an egg. Maybe he's bleeding from somewhere, and he's telling the necklace about patrol, murmured soft in Arabic.

When he finds out Sam is Jewish he probably, after much consideration, asks if he can observe their holidays -- after all, researching Jewish holidays only does so much. Sam agrees when he explains why, much to her parents chagrin, and he sometimes tags along. But once he gets an understanding of how they go, he starts doing it on his own. Somewhat. He celebrates with Sam for most of it, and then has some time to himself where he celebrates it on his own. So it's a little bit of both.

^^^ which brings me to thinking about my danyal snippet here where Sam is at a Wayne gala and tears into her parents over Danny in front of Bruce. And it's making me think of, with this idea in mind, Sam in a moment of emotional impulsivity, saying "I know that he wears a Star of David because his father is Jewish and he wants to be closer to him, because he loves him so very fucking much." And while saying that, briefly makes direct eye contact with Bruce as a way to tell him "I know you're his fucking dad. Look at the son you have left behind."

If only for the emotional gut punch that can leave Bruce with. 🥰

• They day finally comes, the day you’re being introduced to the world, it’s not the world your worried about. It’s Hayden’s fans… what of the don’t like me? What if I’m not good enough for their beautiful Anakin Skywalker?…

• I’m bought away from my thoughts when the makeup lady tells me that she’s finished and there’s 10 mins until we’re live. I’m shaking like a leaf.

• Hayden gets up off the little sofa he’s been sat on waiting so patiently for me to get my makeup done. “You look beautiful” he says as he takes my hand, he feels me shaking. “Don’t be nervous baby, I’ll be next to you the whole time.”

• “it’s not the show I’m worried about” I say as I look up at Hayden, he gives me a concerned look… “it’s your fans, what if I’m not good enough?” I blurt out causing Hay to chuckle.

Movie Night (Damian Wayne x Reader)

A/N: OK so i’ve really been into Batman and the DC universe lately and have recently developed an infatuation with our boy Robin aka Damian Wayne here. Being an honorary Teen Titan means training hard, fighting bad guys, knowing how to work as a team, and of course, the biweekly movie nights. It was an idea initially proposed by Beast Boy as a joke but much to his joy and amusement Starfire took it seriously and loved the idea. Starfire saw it as an excellent way for the team to bond and hang out and just enjoy a normal activity. 

Tonight it was Beast Boy’s turn to pick the movie. He of course picked Evil Dead. 

“It’s a classic!” he had said. 

Having not seen it before, Starfire and yourself were rather excited for the film. Quite frankly neither of you have seen an earthly horror film before at all so to watch a classic horror was a most thrilling idea. And then it started. 

The beginning was fine, normal with a certain sense of eeriness but of course that is expected of any good horror movie. The first scene in the woods was graphic and very frightening to say the least. As the film progressed it got even more graphic and frightening. So much so that you were instinctively sinking deeper and deeper into your seat and when you could no longer sink any deeper you’d subconsciously hide your head behind your teammate’s shoulder, Damian’s shoulder. To everyone’s surprise he didn’t say anything or react in any way to show annoyance or discomfort at your closeness. And to your surprise he remained completely composed during the whole film, gore and all. 

“How can you simply watch this with no difficulty?” you asked, head tucked away from the screen next to his shoulder.

“I grew up with the League of Assassins,” he muttered. “Nothing can scare me.”

“I was told about them. On my planet I trained with similar fearsome warriors but never have I seen such horrors that are displayed on this screen. Tell me, are all human films like this?”

You hide again as two of the possessed humans attack the lone survivor.

 “Definitely not. However, for once Beast Boy is right, this is a classic.” 

His smirk was brief but you saw it. It was only a little while ago that you discovered Damian actually did enjoy these movie nights. He was never actively against them but it was nice to know that he wasn’t indifferent to these events either or that he silently considered them insufferable.

“Is it almost over?”

“I suspect so. The final act is almost done.”

“Oh, thank X’hal,” you sighed.

After a few minutes the film finally ended. Damian gently patted your shoulder to inform you.

“It’s finished. You can come out now.”

You felt the heat rush to your cheeks as you finally realized how close you’ve been sitting next to him this whole time and for how long you’ve been using him as a shield from the screen. Thankfully Damian didn’t say anything else and you casually inched away a little to give him his space again. 

“That was uh... an interesting choice of film, Beast Boy,” said Starfire. “Would anyone like to watch another movie? If not, you do not have to stay.”

“I’ve got another awesome rec!” chimed in Beast Boy.

“Uhhh....”

“No, really, it’s harmless I swear! Beetlejuice!”

“Okay, that one’s actually not bad,” said Jamie.

“The film that is titled after a juiced insect?” you asked, confused. 

Jamie and Beast Boy laughed and assured you that it’s not exactly what it’s about and that it’s completely different from the movie you’ve just watched. Not feeling quite tired yet you decided to stay for the next strange movie. However, Starfire and Raven decided they’d go to bed instead and bid the team goodnight before heading to their rooms. Now that just left Beast Boy, Jamie, you, and Damian. 

To your delight the new movie was a lot more whimsical and way less bloody than the last. It was funny too yet somehow at some point you must’ve dozed off because the next thing you know you’re being awakened by Damian. You opened your eyes and realized you had fallen asleep on his shoulder. 

“Oh, I am sorry.”

“It’s alright. Don’t worry about it.”

You looked around your surroundings and realized everyone else must’ve left for the night. Surely you other teammates must’ve made some comments about you falling asleep on Damian but thankfully you weren’t conscious to hear it.  Both you and Damian rose from your seats and proceeded to exit the common room. Your room was on the way to his so naturally you both walked together.

“Is it true what you said earlier?”

Damian looked over to you, needing more context to what you were referring to, “Which part?”

“That you fear nothing.”

“I don’t,” he said matter of factly. 

You lightly giggled at his response.

“What?” he crossed his arms against his chest. 

You both stopped walking as you reached your door. 

“Everyone fears something Damian.”

“I am not like everyone.”

“That is true,” you reasoned. “Still, it is only a natural emotion, not a weakness. Should you ever encounter a fear I hope to be there to shield you or help you as you have helped me tonight. Thank you.”

Not really knowing how to respond to your sentiment, Damian stayed silent. However you didn’t take this negatively. You calmly began to step closer to Damian until you managed to capture him into a hug. He felt his heart rate rapidly increase and only hoped you weren’t able to hear or feel it. Right when he was about to lift his hands up to hug you back but he suddenly felt you pull away and recede into your room.

“Goodnight, Damian.”

“Goodnight.”

Your door slid closed.

“.... You’re welcome.”

Falling out of his dazed trance Damian slowly began to walk back to his room, trying not to ruminate on what just happened but his reaction to it. Who would’ve thought that the one thing Damian Wayne fears the most are his emotions.

Watching Kei play was one of your favorite things to do. Sure, that might sound a little sad, but watching him and his team working together on the court was something that you wouldn't miss the world for. Until an away game came along, it taking place somewhere farther than they usually are, and since you weren't a part of the team, you couldn't take the school bus with them. So, you took the city bus. He might have told you not to, he might have told you to wait at your house for him to return and tell you about it, but you couldn't help it. This was an important game, and you needed to be there and support him.

He was nervous, although someone who didn't know as well as you wouldn't be able to tell, you were always able to see right through him. Always able to tell when he was nervous or scared, even intimidated. He found it annoying, that you were always there for him, confused as to why you dedicated your time for him, but years after your first meeting he realized that he would do the same for you. You didn't know that his heartbeat the same way for you as it did for him, and he sure as hell didn't know that the reason you stuck by him all these years was to feel that exact heartbeat next to yours.

Kei <3: Stay home, y/n

Y/n: but it's an important game! i want to cheer you on!

Kei <3: I'll tell you what happens after I get home if you really want me to. But stop whining at me it's annoying.

You wouldn't listen to him, of course. Why would you? You get your bag ready to leave, filling it with snacks and water bottles to help the team out.

By the time you snuck in, it was half-way past the second set. Tensions were high and sweat was dripping off their jaws while they gain each point. You made sure to stay a little quieter, not wanting Kei's attention to be drifted away from the game, especially since you weren't supposed to be there. By the time they won that set, they were tied with the other team. One more set left, things are getting really heated.

The score remained close to each other throughout the game, Karasuno being two points away from a win with their opponent three points behind them. Watching Kei as he looks at the floor with frustrated eyes, obviously mad at himself for not doing better. He frowns, taking a sip of water so no one sees it. You can see a slight tint of fear in his eyes- he was scared of losing the set. Although all you've seen were blocks of perfection, even a couple spikes that hit the court floor aggressively, points going towards Karasuno once more, he thought he wasn't doing good enough. You knew he was amazing, everyone in the room knew it too, so why didn't he?

He jogs back on the court after a timeout from the other team, getting into a serve/receive position, waiting for the ball to come over the net. The server on the other team hit the ball over, sending it straight to Nishinoya, who receives the ball perfectly, passing it to Kageyama. Backing up into the set, Hinata runs behind Kageyama, surprising the blockers on the other side of the net when Hinata smacks the floating ball down with his might. Instead of the ball hitting the floor, the left-back position receives the ball at the seam, shanking it towards the audience.

Another point.

The crowd goes wild and the air tightens as the scoreboard raises. You bounce on the bleachers and stomp your feet in excitement, knowing that this match would be over soon.

Kei exhales sharply at the whistle, relief, and nervousness seeping out of him. He can do it, he thought. Only one more point. When the ball passes him to the other side of the court, quickly moves to the right side of the net, jumping and completely regretting his decision once the ball hits the floor. He watches the ball trail off in shock, the whistle suddenly getting too loud for him. He grits his teeth in defeat, thinking that it would be over for them. His head faces the ground, his hands are balled up in fists. That's when you decide to take initiative.

Inhaling a harsh breath, you stand up putting your hands on each side of your face before yelling out to him.

"TSUKISHIMA KEI!!!"

His head whips from the floor, his eyes widening once they find yours in the big crowd. You stand out- to him at least.

"DON'T GIVE UP!!! YOU GOT THIS!! LET'S GO!!"

His pupils dilate at your figure cheering him on, suddenly wishing he hadn't told you to stay home. He didn't know you were there, or how you get here in the first place, but he was glad you came. He wanted you there. His shocked expression turned into a smirk of confidence before he turns back around and goes to his position. The whistle blows once more, telling the server that they can go. He refocuses on the court, watching the ball and everyone near it, analyzing everyone's movements and predicting where the ball is going to go. The big spiker on the other team runs towards the net with his approach, swinging his arms back, ready to slam the ball down as Kei quickly beats him to it, jumping and raising his arms on top of the net in defense.

The ball smacks the floor of the court.

Kei's eyes glow when his feet touch the ground again.

They won.

He tries his best to catch his breath, heaving once his teammates trample him on the ground. You scream in victory, jumping up and down, sprinting down the bleachers to the team, them welcoming you with tight hugs and cries of joy. Electricity coursed through Kei's veins, adrenaline making his sight clearer, his hearing less muffled and his breathing a lot clearer.

You see Kei on the other side of the court, getting up and steadying himself on his feet once you two lock eyes. You run towards him with a fast pace, him reciprocating as his legs speed up toward you. You jump on him, clinging to him as much as you could when wrapping your legs around him, digging your head in his shoulder. His hand immediately grab the back of your thighs for support, helping your body balance on his while you tug on his neck.

You praise him, telling him how proud you were of him picking himself up and being the best, telling him how amazing his blocks and spikes were, how amazing he was. You could hear his breathless laughs of joy, a genuine smile painting his face when you subconsciously pepper his face in firm pecks from your lips, showering him in sweet affection for his win.

"YOU DID SO AMAZING KEI!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!! THAT WAS SO COOL!! YOU SHOULDA SEEN YOURSELF OUT THERE! OH MY GOD THAT WAS- THAT WAS PERFECT!! I KNOW YOU WERE DOUBTING YOURSELF A LITTLE BIT BUT YOU WERE AMAZING THE WHOLE TIME I MEAN-"

Your words muffle when his lips crash onto your- a rough, exciting kiss that has you moaning in his mouth from surprise and desperation from wanting this for the longest time. Your hands slide up from his neck to his cheeks, palming them and pulling him closer while your lips disconnect and reconnect rapidly, not being able to get enough of each other. His hands subtly, but firmly squeeze your thighs while you tilt your head, giving him the chance to kiss you deeper. The amount of emotion going through your bodies, desperation, love, excitement, impatience, relief, mixing with the adrenaline in your system's causing your worlds to finally collide and mix.

"What are they doing?"

warning/s: (obviously) descriptions of coming out to someone (in terms of sexual orientation, not gender), my dumb commentary lol, these are just my ideas! obviously i have no idea how they’d actually react, but i just feel like these scenarios are pretty likely.

a/n: this is pretty casual and silly tbh haha. it’s been sitting in my google drive for a while so i thought i’d finally post it :) i tried to make this as non-descriptive as possible while also getting the point across !! hope it makes u smile hehe <3

“there’s something i’ve been meaning to tell you. i’ve kept it a secret for a while now, but i think it’s time you should know. [insert a statement about your orientation here].”

⿻  CHAN

he’d try to be really responsible about responding to this.

he’s the type of person who would thank you for telling him. he’d just be so happy you feel comfortable enough to confide in him.

i could definitely see him asking you questions about it right away, wanting to have an adult discussion about it.

as long as you’re comfortable with it though !! he doesn’t want to push.

you’d be able to tell how professional he’s trying to act, which is comforting but also a little funny.

once you point it out, he’d finally relax a bit and chuckle, his ears turning slightly red from embarrassment.

still, through talking about your sexuality and answering his questions, both of you would really benefit from the conversation and feel closer afterward.

in all honestly, you’d be kind of scared to tell minho.

you don’t really talk about these things often, so you might be nervous to see how he responds. but when you do tell him…

if you’re ever out and he sees someone you might be attracted to looking your way, he’ll be sure to point them out and encourage you to talk to them.

“come on! you’re a badass, remember? you can do it!”

which… normally that isn’t too big of a deal, but as he encourages you to talk to someone who he previously wouldn’t have known you’d be interested in, it warms your heart.

and, if you hit it off with that person, he’d hold it over you for the rest of your life...

which is typical !! so, nothing’s changed !!!

he’d first ask if you want to talk about it a bit more (your story, how you figured things out, the feelings that accompanied it, etc.)

when you agree, he’d listen carefully and consider what you might have had to go through during the process of realizing this is who you are.

this man would get EMO

his respect for you would go through the roof omg

after you finish explaining, i think he’d be a little choked up !!! he’d tell you how proud he is of you and how strong you are for being your true self.

you and hyunjin are very open about your emotions and confide in each other often.

i’m going to tell you exactly what he’d say, and i want you to imagine it with me, okay?

(imagine his soft voice and lil hands clapping oh my goodness oh my goODNESS-)

can you see it? do you hear it? thought so.

he’d act similarly to chan, but with a bit more enthusiasm.

you’d probably end up having a deep conversation regarding sexuality and gender afterward, and it would be really therapeutic for the both of you.

you both trust each other a lot and are respectful of each other’s feelings, so acceptance would be a no brainer for hyunjin (uwu).

⿻  JISUNG

he’d get a little nervous, honestly.

for good reason! he’d be scared of saying or doing the wrong thing. and he can tell this is super important to you/making you feel just as nervous.

his first instinct would be to give you a big hug. no matter what, it’s his go-to reaction to big announcements, good or bad. and this is a good one !!

once you break away, he’d be a bit quiet, allowing you to explain yourself. he’d hold onto your hands though, especially once he sees them shaking a little.

he’d straight up ask: “so who else knows?”

why? so he doesn’t accidentally out you to the other guys.

or literally anyone else he sees DFKJ

overall, things would be a bit awkward at the very beginning because he wouldn’t know exactly to handle the situation, but he’ll just be really considerate of your feelings in order to move forward.

also it would end in a high five but that’s obvious

i feel like felix would be the most casual about it, in the best way possible.

he’d make it seem like you coming out was just a subtopic in the conversation and talk calmly without sounding startled by the information at all.

but on the inside, he’d be SO EXCITED OMG

he’d force his way onto the gay side of tik tok just so he can send u videos he thinks you might relate to or laugh at

plays “sweater weather” by the neighbourhood every chance he gets

let’s say you’re up late together:

y/n: “dude i need to go to sleep. i can’t see straight.”

lix: “i wonder why” *cackles*

when you come out to him, he’s just like..

ok cool, i know that, what’s next?

obviously, he wouldn’t be rude. however, he’d definitely try not to make a big deal out of it since he genuinely doesn’t think it’s that big of a game changer.

he knows it’s important, of course, but he’d prefer to normalize it right away than make it into a big thing.

“so… do you have any celebrity crushes i don’t know about?”

you’d spend the rest of the day/night talking about your sexuality in the most nonchalant way. you’d recount stories of realization from your past, and seungmin would listen and react just like he would any other time.

*gasp* “really?”

“i know i don’t know this person, but you’re way too good for them.”

regardless, seungmin is able to make you feel comfortable right away. he just has that effect :’)

⿻  JEONGIN

didn’t see it coming at all

for starters, it’s not that he wouldn’t know what it all means, but he’d definitely ask for a bit of clarification just to make sure he knows exactly how you identify, especially if it’s somewhere in the bi/pansexual realm.

once you explain it to him,

when’d you figure it out? how? with who? was it a cartoon character? he heard about that once...

nevertheless, he wouldn’t make a big deal about it, similarly to seungmin with a dash of hyunjin’s soft excitement.

“our y/n’s just so full of love for everybody, huh? so thoughtful of them.”

“make sure to save some of that love for me, please?”

also this may or may not be foreshadowing something that’ll be announced on the 25th at 12 am kst :D uwu
