Oh I’m really feeling like writing about emerald duo, I wonder why? Definitely has absolutely nothing to do with the fact I spent half the day with my long term best friend, favourite person, and over all the person I’m entirely too fond of. Nope! Absolutely no correlation there at all! None! /s
Technoblade leaves the Dream SMP server in the middle of the night.
He doesn’t take anything with him. No armor, no weapons, nothing. He doesn’t even take his dogs or Steve. Only Carl, the stable emptied by the first signs of dawn.
Instead, he leaves notes.
One for Ranboo, one for Niki. One for Wilbur, one for Tommy.
He leaves one for Phil too, slightly different than the rest. There’s another line at the bottom, a set of coordinates.
(“To the gates of hell,” Phil had said.
“What about just anywhere but here?” Techno had answered.)
There’s another server. A smaller one, with more sunshine and mob-proofed fences. Where Techno does not ever have to pick up a weapon. Where Techno does not have to continue fighting.
Where there is no need for him to do anything but tend to his farms and sit outside to read, feed Carl carrots and nap as much as he wants. Where the distant crackle of a portal won’t mean anything except the welcomed visit of an old friend.
Where he can rest easy.
Because the war is over.
And dust settles on pain. And regrets become worn with age. And memories will bring strength more than they will sting.
(Perhaps, they will visit. Perhaps, Phil will come along one day and bring with him the people Techno loved and who loved Techno and who Techno hurt and who hurt Techno.
Perhaps they will find something worth holding onto in the ruins dug between them, that will grow flowers again.)
And on this new server, Technoblade is happy.
(And the universe said, you are not alone.)
And on this new server, Technoblade knows peace.
(And the universe said I love you because you are love.)
it's insane to me how dream smp members seemed to not know how old each other were. like tubbo thinking sapnap was 15/16, quackity being fully convinced that techno was a 40 year old smoker, and tubbo (again) thinking that Phil being 34 was just a bit and he was actually 24
Catch me crying in the club, @lookinghalfacorpse’s “Doomsday trio ages” just hit me straight in the feels.
Imagine the prison break went differently, Techno and Phil get Dream out and back to the tundra to take care of him. And oh boy - it’s only after; the blood, the tears, and the screaming, when Dream finally settles down does Techno understand, in the most heartbreaking way that yeah - “He’s a child.”
Hiya :) I've been getting into DSMP animatics, and I love seeing the different interpretations of the character designs even though I only have a vague sense of the lore so far. It's all got cool vibes!! Can I request a drawing of Ranboo or Wilbur, or maybe even both? I'm not sure if they actually ever interact in the story or not, but I'd say interpret the prompt however you want and have fun??
broke: Technoblade is the deity of blood/war/anarchy/violence and his power comes from shedding blood/waging war
Woke: Technoblade is the deity of covenants/blood bonds/family/vows and his power comes from people’s (and dog’s) fealty and devotion
Bespoke: Technoblade is the god of the harvest and the anarchy blood thing is like… just the Way He Is. His power comes from like, veggie sacrifices. He makes peoples potato farms flourish.
Ajjajaja having brainrot over the idea of all the Islanders ( including Eggs, but also works without ) being send on a mission together to 'retrieve an important item' or something along these lines - which results in needing to use the train or a plane or smth due to how far away the location is, immediately causing distrust within everyone.
They arrive in what seems to be an endless snowy wasteland, stretching on and on. The group travels a while by walking, until they come across a little village - majority of the group is relieved to have a source of warmth and somewhat safety, but two specific people entirely freeze up at first and immediately glance at each other.
The banners within the village are an all too familiar one of the Antarctic Empire, and suddenly it makes entirely sense on why Phil felt a comfortable, familiar sensation here.
Phil and Fit both stay on the outside of the village to attempt at staying hidden from the guards - the other islanders are confused on these twos odd behaviour but brush it mostly off.
This little stay however quickly ends up in Phil & Fit being recognised anyway, and all I can imagine is just the rest of the islanders staring, some bewildered and others excited when a guard bows down in front of Phil, not commenting on the wince from Phil when they refer to him as an Emperor.
Imagine the way the guards immediately take the group in to travel to the main area of the empire, all the questions Phil receives on this.
And Phil hates every moment of it.
Being questioned about all of this, but Phil can barely offer any answers as he sinks into this.. feeling of needing an out - and Fit is right there by his side as comfort and support, knowing that Phil had just as much been trying to bury his past as the Emperor, only to have it shoved right back at him. Did the Federation know this? Did they purposely set him up like this?
Upon arrival at the Empire, a tall build figure is already waiting at the gates for the group.
And Phil expects the worst of reactions - to be given the cold shoulder, to be yelled at how could he have ever abandoned the Empire they build together, how he dared to just up and leave ( even when it wasn‘t his choice in the first place, or he thinks at least ).
But instead, Phil is greeted with a tight hug from Techno, pulling him close and just for now, refusing to let go at least for now.
Phil: I always love hearing about like, different stories -- especially from the teachers in the chat -- where like, a student or like just a member of the school has some form of like, Techno merch or like, does something that is clearly a Techno reference.
I just love that.
It’s ‘cuz like -- exactly what I was hoping to happen is happening, where people are just keeping his memory alive. Whether it’s through wearing, you know, his merch and stuff, or still supporting him through doing like, you know, just talking about him or making like their art piece about him, stuff like that. It’s very cool.
Technoblade truly never dies, if everyone just keeps f**king talking about him. [Laughs] If everyone just keeps referencing him, which is very easy to do because he was incredibly funny. He has a lot of referenceable quotes and sayings.
Ranboo hates eye-contact because they're half Enderman. Initially they didn't even know this themself, and they were pretty used to forcing or awkwardly avoiding it anyways, so it didn't really come up for a while. EmDuo picked up on it eventually.
Philza just immediately adapted to not making eye-contact before they even had a proper conversation about it, because he's just amazing at noticing stuff like that and doing whatever makes people feel more comfortable. Basically, he's just naturally absurdly good at adjusting his behavior.
Technoblade on the other hand sucks at it. Not maliciously, he's always doing his best, he just tends to stare a lot (partially a Piglin thing, they emote almost exclusively through eyes). When he remembers, he immediately looks away kinda awkwardly.
My favorite part of watching emeralds stream together: being a 3rd wheel to their conversations lol. They talked for 20 mins before more people joined vc btw.

Techno: See, this is great. (Phil: They’re just juicing you with health constantly) I feel like all this time I’ve been- I’ve been third wheeling in these- in these Discord calls, but now, I’m making 40,000 concurrent viewers third wheel in this conversation. Isn’t it great?
*Phil laughs*
Techno: how’s it going guys?
Phil: Oh I didn’t realize you were still live honestly.
Techno: Oh yeah there’s- I didn’t realize I was still live either. It’s good. It’s good. Hey guys.
Convict Childcare c!Dream: *dissociates for several hours while forcing himself to write a revive book for Michael despite having several broken and improperly set fingers + a lot of nerve damage in his hands, keeps forcing himself to write to maintain the ability and to create books for Michael throughout their stay in the cell, gets no medical care for months and gets several fingers rebroken at least twice*
Also c!Dream, like a week after getting his fingers properly reset and healed in a limited capacity: “why can’t I write this very detailed scripture without extreme pain? this is clearly a personal failing and I will learn to power through it.”
