The reason I like the idea that Bruce was a teenage idle then personally experienced some aspect of poverty in his time abroad is because if I ever found out that some privileged rich white man spontaneously decided to go out into the streets and fight criminals hand to hand, I would personally tear his neck out with my teeth. I actually haven't really gotten into the headcanon/fandom trope of Alastor wanting to eat and/or drink Lucifer's blood. But as an ace with the closest thing they've ever felt to attraction being full body armor/outfits (think the Mandalorian, the Black Panther suit (both T'Challa's and Shuri's), Death from Good Omen, etc...<- I'm not even making that up, if there's anything I've felt that I'd classify as attractive, it's people covered head-to-toe with not a piece of their body showing, usually with a modulated voice), this is me projecting onto Alastor, but in the form of ultimate demon power.

actually thats one thing i respect so much about bdubs and etho. bdubs is considered one of the best builders on hermitcraft (and in general) and etho is considered one of the best redstoners of all time. bdubs used his building expertise to come up with a really inventive and uncustomary way to do redstone (prettystone) and etho used his redstone expertise to come up with a really wacky and creative way to build (the monstrosity). it's why they're so good at what they do—they take the conventions of what they've already mastered and use their experience flip it on its head entirely. they don't stop at mastery and are constantly learning and trying to inject their creativity into other areas of minecraft and i find that so cool....

oh I suppose I mentioned this vaguely but never in great detail so... Cas lore dump time🔥

The slightly more elaborate but still short version is that Cas, in his time in Cania, was forced to work for an organisation of succubi and incubi that snatched him and his brother when they were children to pay off their father's debts and mishaps (because their father sold them out without their knowledge while he was still alive). The organisation was directly working under Mephistopheles which... basically bound him to Mephistopheles for life so he kept striving to try and kill Mephistopheles for his freedom.

At this time (and also mind you Cas is really REALLY young still for a devil) Raphael was already in the whole "trying to get the crown from his father thing" obviously where…. I believe he would’ve at least done a few attempts at (indirectly) yoinking the crown himself... and failing, clearly😭 Cas got involved in one of these with the hope of snatching it himself to kill Mephistopheles in the process but got in over his head to the extent where it came to an actual confrontation and Cas got his ass handed to him.

Mephistopheles ripped out his wings in a naked, public display to disgrace him as some simple incubus that thought he could fight him and then also cursed him to rot away from the inside and die slowly and painfully
