No because you don't get it Blitzø put so much effort and hope in that Full Moon date, his face literally lightened up as soon as he realized he was going to see Stolas again he ended up singing in the morning he wore a new outfit he went to Stolas' house with a bag full of things/presents for him and that big ass candle to create an atmosphere, you could TELL he missed him and he was probably trying to be more open and tender reminiscing what Stolas told him after they went to Ozzy's, trying to make that encounter count also as a date, trying to finally gave himself the possibility and the hope to trust in someone again to trust in himself to trust in a relationship because maybe this time it could have lasted and instead he was met with a Stolas ready to call it all off

Today has been a damn good day. Starkid hit the Obsidian goal for Cinderella’s Castle and released the private short film of Working Boys. Helluva Boss S2 trailer and dates dropped along with a sneak into the new duet (which I have already listened to like 20x). Moving is going well, and things are getting packed and ready! I only have two days left of work and the manager managed to hire a new person in time so that I can train her in my role. So so good.

Maybe I should celebrate by buying Poison Ivy’s recent solo run. It’s been sitting in my Amazon wish list for Months.

Did you notice the detail in the trailer?

it’s kinda insane every little thing that the trailer showed us but this one hurt me.

While over analyzing the scenes i realized the heart in his forehead breaks from when he’s a kid to when he’s older.

Hot take: helluva boss is kinda better than hazbin? The characters feel more genuine and are more complex, they have more clear motivations and, though it definitely has its flaws (unhappy campers I’m looking at you), it’s just so much more fun.

The songs are often better, so is the animation— somehow— and it just consistently hits harder with both the comedy and the emotional points. Like I am so much more invested in the romances of helluva than the kinda-boring romances of hazbin. Both m&m and fizz/ozzie are sweeter and more developed than chaggie, stolitz intrigues me so much more than huskerdust (though I get that stolitz gets more of a focus in its show). Moxxie’s and Blitz’s daddy issues are so much more interesting than Charlie’s relationship with Lucifer.

It feels consistently better written, maybe that’s because there’s no interference from Amazon executives, maybe that’s because there’s less pressure to make it perfect, maybe that’s because it took its original concept and evolved out of it while not losing sight of it (something that can’t be said for hazbin hotel), I don’t know, but to me it’s true. Don’t get me wrong, I like Hazbin Hotel, but while I often feel the need to rewatch helluva episodes for things I missed or just because I want to experience it again, I don’t really get that for hazbin (except maybe episode 4?). Helluva boss feels more innovative, more creative, probably because it has the space and time to be that.

anyway I couldn't NOT experiment with a (starter?) Cardinal outfit. took a bit of inspiration from other versions I've seen, a bit from redesigns I've fiddled on Danny before, and just today threw a vest on top because I've recently become convinced that what the Phantom design actually needs is a sick white leather jacket coming soon patent pending (not really on the patent, yes really on the imma draw this thing. look i scribbled it the other night

People really should include c!Sam as an actual character in their c!sbi fics more often, he poses such a fascinating ideological opposition to all of them in a lot of different ways.

C!Wilbur’s a revolutionary, Sam’s authoritarian. C!Techno is an anarchist and Sam’s a symbol of the state. C!Phil is an immortal but absent/middling father, and Sam is so occupied with his and his loved ones’ own mortality that he becomes both a better and worse father figure to c!Tommy than Phil could even want to be. And that’s not even getting into the whole history he has with c!Tommy!

It’s really good shit, I wish they explored it in canon more so badly
