this isnt something i really believe but wgat if charlie was one of pims clients like before he started working for the company himself and that’s how they met. he got himself hired because he saw how pim does the job and he thought well this should be easy enough and. yknow how it goes . at first they just got paired together because pim made it easier for charlie to like figure it out but almost immediately they realised they actually like eachother and neither of them could really do their job as well without the other

#who knows this might grow on me but the actual way i personally think they met is just #charlie had always worked at smiling friends and then pim got hired and for a little while it was this weird one-sided rivalry #because charlie saw him and he was like there is NO way he’s actually like that #i mostly like it bc its fun to imagine them like that . they are really like pieces of playdoh to me Really

Smiling Friends S2 finale Pim sacrificing his own physical form for a noble cause and critterkind worship him as their God but nobody but Charlie remembers who he was prior to his ascension. Charlie bursts into tears and nobody knows why he’s crying.

i absolutely love what their dynamic turned into in the show but whenever i watch the sf pilot im reminded of how much i love the way charlie just kinda slugs on behind pim and lets him do his thing and the only time in the episode he really gets his own moment he has no idea what to say to desmond and can only say they’ve failed. like i love the side of charlie that can be like overly passionate and kinda unapologetic and the way there’s nothing that can change his mind when he’s set on something and i dont even want it to be changed back to that but man . i just love it

#my quest of liking charlie more has been a huge success!! #all i had to do was stop staring at pim at all times whenever i watch the show and only hearing what he says and does … stop Temporarily #tbh i think the pilot is one of my favourite episodes of Anything ever #why r the first episodes of both seasons So good . idk if its just the effect of hype and excitement but dude #the gwimbly ep is SOOOOOO good to me ive had to have rewatched it around 20 times by now #its just so lovely. love how its another episode where the death of another character is what makes the client smile #and in this case it worked for both of the two clients. isn’t that so cool that there were two of them this time #and also how the b plot of the ep takes place in the office just like the pilot #i just wanna see more of the office… everytime we see it anytime other than the beginning of the episode #i always get so excited cuz that’s like The main setting of the show n we know barely anything about it
