so you have many ships, two pairings you'll find that you'll love, ship, read fanfic, create scenarios. so many come through the years. but there's always that one pairing. kind of like a first love effect, y'know? you never forget them, they have a piece of your heart forever. remembering them is like a warm bath on a cold day, a sip of water after feeling thirsty all day, and a hot meal.

mine is destiel. dean and castiel. they were my first pairing, i DEVOTED my whole entire teenage years to them and even now, many years later i love them with all my heart. i'll never stop.

Imagine anakin just doing that all the time with friends he hasn’t seen in a while cos they’ve been deployed on different missions etc etc etc idk, anakin and being a physically affectionate person just gets to me 🥺

Also, while we're on the subject: a) Anakin is incredibly bad at having a secret wife, it's so funny that he thinks he was sneaky about it and b) isn't Padmé like 8 months pregnant with twins in that scene? Kudos to Anakin for being so happy to see her that he doesn't comment on her totally different shape.

I love a tactile Anakin too. I think there's a gifset of TCW Anakin putting his hands on Obi-Wan (that exists, right? I'll go look for it) and I love it extending to his other friends. I think Anakin would be physically affectionate and would like the reality of having his friends in his arms. Normal hugs with Aayla and Rex and Padmé. A careful hug with Yoda (Anakin and Yoda's relationship is also very important to me). One of those funny side hugs men are always doing with Mace.

I'm a big fan of Obi-Wan keeping Anakin in the light through constant cuddles and sex, but I'm equally weak for Anakin staying good because he finally realizes how loved he is by the Jedi in general 🥺 I just think it's nice.

My interpretation of this art (it's from one of the Daydream Hour issues!) is that Chilchuck took the time to prepare the chest, wear the mimic costume, get inside and give his daughters a fun little jumpscare when they opened it, but they were either not impressed, didn't get it, or just wanted the candy, so he just went. listen there really was just something about how in the book, snow’s 3-page descent from hesitant lover boy to deluded psychopath happens entirely in his mind. lucy gray gives him no indication whatsoever that she suspects him, that she’s going to leave or betray him. he’s just sitting quietly in the cabin waiting for her to return when that seed of calculated suspicion, which he has needed to survive the capitol, takes a hold of him and chokes the life out of any goodness left inside him. it really drives home your terror as a reader that “oh my god did he kill her? did she escape? what happened to her? why would he even think that?” in a way that when the movie had to adjust for visualization it lost some of that holy shit this guy has lost it emphasis.
