I have a headcanon that the Hephaestus cabin invented a special chip that demigods can attach to electronics so that they can safely work in modern times. Whether it’s homework for school, or work for their job, demigods need technology for the modern world. 
This chip would work on all electronics and you basically just put it on top of or somehow attach it to the computer or phone (or something else, idk) and it muffles the signal that gets sent to monsters.

-It wasn’t your fault that your boyfriend stuck his tongue out a little bit when he was concentrating, and how he always seemed to have a song stuck in his head so he’d do little dances as he searched for tools, and the way his stupidly fluffy hair always seemed to bounce around.
-And somehow he didn’t even mind when you watched him work, or just did your own thing on one of the few couches in Bunker 9 that Harley hadn’t broken the springs of jumping up and down. You could just chill out and every few minutes he would walk past carrying saws and drills and kiss you on the top of your head.
-Although if you were being honest, sometimes you’d maybe might just take his tools out of his hands and pull him around to the other side of the couch for a few more kisses that would turn into Leo sitting opposite you cross legged giggling and whispering the most random things while you pressed kisses to his jaw and his neck and sometimes his lips just to shut him up so you could keep making out.
-He wasn’t very good at making out, you’d found out.
-Not in the way you’d think from that statement, he was a great kisser [you knew from experience. So much experience,]. Leo would just get so overwhelmed, in a good way of course, and forget to kiss back. He’d sit there beaming like a lovesick idiot while you gave him hickeys. You’d have to snap him out of it every once in a while because apparently after dating for a good while, he still couldn’t handle it.
-Of course there were those times he’d just pounce with his slim fingers and his crooked teeth that seemed to become attached to your mouth in seconds.
-You’d be wearing hoodies and concealer the next day, to put it simply.
-Back to the point.
-There’d still be nights where he’d be a bit off and you’d find a packet of oreo’s [probably Piper’s], and hot chocolate with mini marshmallows for you both. His sweet tooth could get dangerous sometimes.
-You’d gotten pretty good at figuring out the difference between Leo’s bad days, and Leo’s very bad no good days.
-Usually the first example could be fixed with snacks and a lot of kisses, which you weren’t exactly complaining about. The second kind, though, although snacks and kisses always helped, were usually spent trudging around one of your cabins in pajamas watching movies because there was nothing worse for everyone then an Angry Leo on the loose.
-Sometimes you wouldn’t even realize something was wrong until Leo would change into one of your hoodies and turn the lights off quickly with a tired ‘goodnight mi amor’.
-You knew to give him a while, Leo wasn’t one to express his more negative feelings [positive ones on the other hand, the whole of camp could pick Leo in a crowd just by his laugh], so you reached across your bed, which wasn’t hard. Single beds weren’t exactly roomie, even if your boyfriend was incredibly scrawny.
-Even Leo on a very bad no good day couldn’t resist cuddles.
-He is also the snuggliest little spoon to ever exist. You’d wrap your arms around his middle and on the nights when Leo didn’t want to talk he’d still fall back into you and you could feel his sleepy smile in the air.
-Leo knew that you loved him.
-Most of the camp knew that you loved him, and vice versa.
-You’d had enough conversations at this point that you could just start pressing kisses to parts of Leo [with permission of course, and not in the way yall are thinking] to show all that love.
-He had insecurities, but he was working on them and you were so proud of him. There were always bad days though, so you would hold his hands in your own and whisper about how fluffy his hair was and how pretty his hands were and the fact that if he ever hated his body again you would kiss him until he couldn’t even think about unhappy things.
-However Leo acted after that, whether it was descending into a fit of giggles or continuing to grumble about how he wasn’t a very good boyfriend, he would be kissed until he couldn’t think.
-It was safe to say that Leo had found a concealer to match his skin tone only a few weeks after you started dating.

Cabin 9 - Heaphestus - Headcanons
After a bunch of trials and tests, snore reducing technology has been made
It's mainly to use on harley
But don't tell him that bless him
The bunk beds are able to flip and the touch of a button to flip over and reveal mini work stations
They love to make gifts for their friends, significant others and siblings for birthdays and Christmas and valentines
Sometimes the aphrodite cabin will help for valentines
One year leo made calypso a bouquet of mechanical flowers so that they lived forever
The aphrodite cabin did help with this one but only because leo had so many ideas and didn't know which to choose from
When it comes to dinner time at the pavillion, all the campers from the heaphestus cabin try to sneak bit of food into their pockets ready for all nighters making and tinkering with things
Speaking of tinkering, they have a tinkerbell shrine in their cabin, she is the heaphestus blessed pixie and mascot of the cabin
Heaphestus worships her just the same way tbh
I just know Festus had his own little mechanical nest recharge station
And little toys to go with it like a mechanical ball or bone or smth
Hes also tried to go into the cabin for belly rubs
There's blueprints everywhere in the cabin
And I mean EVRRYWHERE floors, walls, beds, desks, taped to ceilings, everywhere
Not that they're always followed or anything
Leo's the designated night light and toaster
He's actually perfected his toasting skills now
He is literally the hearth in the pavillion
Hestia calls her self the adopted parent of Leo
Leo likes the feeling inside of him when he hears the word "son" come of her mouth, he thinks back to his mother even if he does feel guilty sometimes he knows no one could replace her in the long run
We didn't start the fire and this girl is on fire are currently up for debate for cabin theme song (the Apollo cabin sparked this debate, they needed some drama)

I don't know if y'all know but I work in early childhood education and used to work with a lot of preteens so there's CDS’ “The Program” aka what ‘What Otty Would Do Is She Got to Restructure CAMP Half Blood
Chb ‘the program’
Camper (just little dudes, you have a bunk till you're 18) -> Junior Counselor (13 or one quest, a cabin can have up to three) -> Head Counselor (15 or have done three quests) -> Staff Lead (min 18, a permanent staff position. One for each active cabin plus one for unclaimed ) -> Rest of Staff (staff member with a specific skill or training in an area to run. Ex. The forge, archery, the infirmary, the school teacher, etc) -> Chiron and Mr.D
Important that each staff member runs one (1) thing. Will is head of the Infirmary and only the Infirmary, Harley is Staff Lead of Cabin 9 but Nyssa runs The Forge. You can go to different adults for different training, Conner is Staff Lead for the Unclaimed but he will still teach you lock-picking etc. The only person who has two is Nico because he's head sword-fighting teacher but he also does funerals and underworld rights and education.
Lots of staff will also take shifts on other locations. If you have infirmary training you will have a shift there. Different people rotate through heading the climbing wall, or being lifeguard on duty. But your main responsibility does not change. Staff also have to do their continuing education hours, Chiron and Mr.D including.
They have a full time, trained, teacher now. He was a high school teacher and they poached him. If you are a year rounder you go to school, and if you finish you get your GED. If another staff person is skilled in something education wise you can apprentice with them, Ex. Alex Vlahos is apprenticing with Will in the healing arts and is getting credits to do it too. With a wider net of safe houses, temples, and adult demigods, when you age out instead of college you can go apprentice at one of those places as well. This isn't just for magic stuff either, you can get craft people certificates for things like plumbing and carpentry. Leo has trained a ton of welders.
There is housing for staff, visiting adult demigods, and kids who have aged out. Two brown stone L-shaped apartment buildings (three stories) angled around a courtyard. There are roommate situations for kids who still need CHB (orphans or ones who attract like crazy) with their own room and a shared common (four to an apartment. Think apartment style dorms.) There are a few ‘air bnb’ style two bedrooms for visitors, and then a mix of three to four bedrooms for long term staff. These are all mixed in, so when you are 19 and living on your own and hurt yourself there's a responsible adult with their two kids right next door to help.
A Head Counselor position hasn't changed much past not having to run other areas of camp. You still have to get your cabin to lunch, you are your cabin's main advocate, you still head things like capture the flag and take part in quest meetings. But you are not ‘the adult in charge’, you have a grown-ass adult to turn to and protect you. In turn a Junior Counselor is someone in training/in the running to be Head Counselor. They help with more day to day cabin wrangling, getting kids to bed etc. You have to be a Junior Counselor to be Head Counselor, this keeps it so no one is responsible for anyone too young or without knowing what they're doing, and establishes a line of succession. No more Wills no more Drews. Head Counselors work with their Staff Lead to appoint Junior Counselors

You were awake before Obi-Wan. He still had his arms around you. Carefully, you turned toward him. You were thankful you were feeling better to allow yourself to move. You took a sharp inhale as your eyes raked over his face. Obi-Wan was truly a gorgeous man.
I'M FROM BROOKLYN, TOO ~ 159
Spring was finally making its appearance, which meant that Peter and Harley were beginning to spend weekends at the cabin doing yard work. Y/N had told them that there was no need, she, Morgan, and Natasha would do it. But the boys were insistent. It was nice though when they were around. Morgan adored them and they adored her. She had older brothers who would clearly do anything to help her.
Harley, Morgan, and Peter were playing tag while Y/N sat on the porch watching when Rhodey arrived. She couldn’t help but roll her eyes at the presidential brigade with him. Getting out of his limo, Rhodey shot her a smile before his eyes snapped toward the sound of a voice.
“Uncle Rhodey!” Morgan squealed, stopping the game of tag to rush toward him.
“Mo,” he smiled, crouching down to meet Morgan. The two hugged. He looked up to see the two boys. “Peter, Harley.”
“Mr. President, sir,” Peter responded.
Rhodey shook his head. “Peter, it’s okay, call me Rhodey.” He smiled and gave a nod toward Harley before looking at Y/N.
“Come play with us, Uncle!” Mo tried to get Rhodey to come with her.
“I will after I talk to your mom. Go play with the boys and I’ll be out to join soon.” Rhodey headed for the house.
“To what do we owe this pleasure, Mr. President?” Y/N teased.
Rhodey shook his head with a chuckle. “I will never get used to that."
A TERRIBLE ACCIDENT ~ PART 3
Bucky wouldn’t allow any of the Wakandans inside his cell, including Shuri. Luckily, Shuri had the technology to be able to still run the needed tests. It took her a few hours to finish running what she needed to before gathering the team into one of the conference rooms. Shuri didn’t put any of the information she gathered on the screens yet. Not wanting any of the team members to read ahead.
“What have you found, Shuri?” Steve asked, unable to wait any longer. He was worried for his best friend.
“As I feared, something has happened to the rewiring that we had done to Barnes and the Winter Soldier was able to return,” she admitted. Steve’s face dropped while the other team members tried to keep their composure. “My team and I are coming up with a plan. We think that we can do the same protocol—“
“The protocol didn’t work?” Tony questioned with a scoff.
“There are tweaks that can be made. I was hoping to have your help, Stark, as well as Dr. Banner’s.”
“How will you do the protocol when Barnes won’t allow anyone in the cell with him?” Asked Sam.
“With the previous protocol, we put him in cryo until I could—“
“No. No,” Steve interrupted. “Bucky cannot go under again.”
“Let Shuri finish, Steve,” Nat said.
“As I was saying,” Shuri continued, “we put Barnes in cryo and then woke him up to do the protocol. With his resistance to even having people in the same room as him, I believe we need to have him under the whole time and wake him only to test it.”
“He won’t agree to this,” said Sam. “Not at all.”
“He’ll do it for Y/N,” Steve defended. “He’ll do anything for Y/N.”
“He believes that shutting himself away is for Y/N’s sake,” Wanda said. “I don’t know if he will believe that this will actually work after this.”
“Y/N can convince him.”
“Y/N’s not allowed to go anywhere near Barnes,” Tony said. “As per his orders and mine. It’s for the best."
THE BOND BETWEEN US ~ 86
The command room was bustling with action as officers got the base up and running again. You stood near the edge, watching it all unfold as you watched your breathing and honed in on the Force. A saber was in each of your hands as you prepared for the fight ahead. At 75 years old, you were still healthy and strong but time and life still had done a number on you. You knew that any fight could be your last—which had always been the case but this was different. Your age now was a factor in both your strengths and weaknesses.
“General,” Finn called, pulling you from your meditative state. You turned your head to look at him. “Are you alright?”
You gave him a small, thankful smile. “I’m fine.”
“Are you sure?”
You noticed how his eyes glanced at something nearby. Your eyes followed his line of sight to see that the pebbles in the corner of the floor were floating. You quickly refocused yourself, causing the pebbles to clatter to the ground.
THE TRUTH ABOUT LOVE ~ 17
The Gala was in the Stark Industries Tower in the downtown part of the city. Steve drove there in his truck and parked down in the private parking garage. When he got out to walk around to open your door, you allowed yourself to take a few deep calming breaths. You were nervous. Galas weren’t your normal—Steve’s life wasn’t your life. But you wanted to come to support him.
“Don’t worry,” he whispered, lips brushing up against your ear. “You’re stunning.” He kissed above your ear as he linked your arms together.
“That’s not what I’m worried about,” you mumbled.
CAUGHT IN A WEB ~ 10
Your eyes were closed as you lay on the bed. Your injured arm was laid out straight, pointing away from your body. Helen’s cradle was over it, working its magic. None of this night had gone as you had planned. You thought it was going to be an easy night, spending time with Tony in a way that you were completely comfortable with. Now, you were injured in the med bay, and your secret was out to the whole Team.
Sensing Tony coming in, you didn’t bother opening your eyes. You and Tony needed to talk but now was not the place or time. Tony came in and sat down on the chair beside you.
“So… do they all know now?” You whispered though you knew the answer.
“They do,” Tony replied. “But I told them not to bother you about it… When did Romanoff and Maximoff find out?”
You sighed. “About a week ago. I snuck away to meet up with you in the middle of girl's night.”
“Yikes,” Tony winced. “I could have told you that was a bad idea.”
You turned your head in his direction and looked at him. “I’m sure.”
Tony looked at you, really looked at you. Something took over him before he could stop himself. “I’m taking you out.”
“What? You are?”
“Yes, tomorrow night.”
“Tony, I don’t know—“
“Nowhere fancy, just this hidden little place I frequent. It’s open 24 hours, but we can go at our normal meet-up time.”
“I… are you sure?”
“Y/N, honey,” Tony grabbed your free hand, “I’m sure.”

rambles abt my humanstuck au under the cut
jade is like an oc to me <3
in my au jade and jake are siblings who got lost in the woods when they were very young [maybe like 3 and 6] and they were raised by a white wolf for several years. eventually, they were found [jade was about 5, jake was about 8] and adopted by grandma and grandpa english, two heirs who escaped crockercorp and built themselves a cabin in the woods. though grandpa wants to name the wolf after his childhood dog halley, grandma names him bec after the scientist bc its easier for jade and jake to say.
since jade is younger than jake, she has a much stronger attachment to bec than he does, to the point where she and bec are virtually inseparable. this made school a challenge since bec refused to let jade out of his sight, but the local elementary schools didnt care for letting a wolf hang around their students. she was homeschooled by grandpa, learning everything from nuclear physics to hunting and tracking. until one day, when she was about 9, he went missing. grandma figured he got turned around in the woods at his old age and went after him, only to go missing herself. the two kids found their bodies later that day, both with bullet holes in them. grandpa’s body was mostly intact but grandma’s was in worse condition, so, like their grandparents taught them, jade embalmed grandpa while jake cremated grandma.
with their survival knowledge from their grandparents, bec’s hunting and protection, and dipping into the fortune their grandparents left behind, jade and jake were able to survive for a few months on their own before they were discovered. since jake hadn’t been attending school, the school noticed something was up and cps came to check on them. fearing separation, they faked their deaths by burning down the cabin and hiding themselves and their most valuable possessions in the hidden bunker [grandma and grandpa had been paranoid their whole lives and over prepared for the worst].
PM, an old friend of grandma’s, hears about the english family’s mysterious disappearance and comes to investigate. after a brief scuffle with bec, she finds jake and jade and adopts them. all of their documents burned in the fire so PM pulls some strings [PM has lived a very interesting life, so she knows a lot of people w influence] and gets them a new identity as jade and jake harley and sends them to the local middle school with bec registered as jade’s esa, since jade gets incredibly anxious without him around. despite PM’s efforts, jade is only able to go to public school part time since the school doesnt want bec around very often, but jade likes things better this way anyway [everything at school is too easy/boring for her]. since PM works full time, jade mostly self studies. to get jade to get out into society more, PM encourages her to take music lessons at the local music school, which is where she meets rose, john, and dave, who are taking violin, piano, and music theory classes respectively [jade is taking bass lessons]. they all go to different middle schools but they talk online all the time.
all of their middle schools feed into the same high school, so eventually they are able to go to school together. at this point, jade has been in therapy for years so she is a little less dependant on bec and is able to attend school full time without needing him constantly beside her [but he still insists on walking with her to and from school and visiting her during lunch]. even as a high schooler, jade wears dog ears, and occasionally a tail, to school every day because they remind her of bec [when shes stressed she will rub the ears like a comfort blanket].
she is taking all AP classes, is on the track team, is petitioning for the school to form a rifle team, is in the gardening club, plays flute in the school orchestra [she is not good at ALL but she loves it], and is on the robotics team. she also is in a band with dave, john, and rose [she plays bass with them, thankfully]!
other than school and businesses that dont allow animals, jade brings bec wherever she goes, including the other kids’ houses. john is a little scared of bec but thinks bec is cool. he just wishes bec didnt insist on laying on his bed though, he sheds everywhere! rose is more of a cat person but has a healthy respect for bec and also appreciates how having bec around freaks out her mom [mom will always offer bec a lovely steak tartar, though. her passive aggression clearly knows no bounds, not even fear]. dave claims he and bec are mortal enemies but bec does not care about him at all. dave is terrified of bec but would never admit it, but he tolerates his presence for jade’s sake.

pjo verses:
robin is a daughter of hypnos. i don't necessarily like the canon information we're given for the abilities that these kids have, so i'm altering it a little bit. she's not asleep all the time like you would imagine. she can retrieve memories and alter dreams, as well as drain energy and induce sleep. unlike regular verse cannot drain energy to point of death. can still produce energy blasts. cannot use telekinesis. can dream travel. her cabin is considered pretty dangerous, and she's uncomfortable with that. it means the only father she's ever had is not her biological father either, which bothers her. she got to camp when she was thirteen. her father knew all along. was claimed when she was fifteen. anywhere from 17-19 now, still living at camp.
annie (and jack) are children of hermes. they got to camp when annie was seven. she displays pretty strong teleportation abilities. she and jack ended up in all sorts of weird situations with creatures and monsters before they ended up in camp. claimed early because of annie's quick teleportation skills identifying them both as kids of hermes. anywhere from 7-9 now, lives at camp.
janet is the minor goddess of useless knowledge. she knows everything because every bit of knowledge is useless somehow. she makes frequent appearances at camp.
i will eventually develop verses for ada wordsworth and maybe elle and winston. ada will likely be an older camper who's out living in the world but i'm not decided enough to choose a godly parent for her.
same goes for sophia - i'm leaning towards demeter because of her want for environmental change but i'm not sold yet, especially as it would mean that her mother isn't her mother and her father would have had to drop her off at her mothers doorstep after he already abandoned the family. and if harley was a demigod too then it would mean she wasn't related to him at all and i think that would absolutely kill her.

Imagine Leo getting Jealous of his siblings because they have a good-ish relationship with their Dad. Especially Harley. He doesn't want to be Jealous of them. But hearing them talk about how they got to camp a lot earlier then him, how they had a good conversation when they met him. It reminds him of everything he didn't do for him. It reminds him of the nights when he was at the hospital when he'd beg them to take his blood a bunch of times, just to try and find him. When he prayed to the non-existant God for him to come save him, come and care. When he gave up on finding him all together. The first time he met him 3 years after. The amount of rage he felt just looking at him. At the idea that he heard him. He watched him get nearly killed and heard his cries and screams and did nothing.
He doesn't blame his siblings in the slightest. Which is why he doesn't tell them about it. He doesn't want to ruin the love they have for their Dad.

Driving westborough looking and they're looking at wachusett and I see it spread out everywhere and it's like in one big mound and they're wondering why and they think that's a footprint below that might be shielding them from seeing something and diamonds do that also they're starting to look at the footprints to see if there's something there because the max are going to try and take them for reflectors and this is madness they're getting behind they said all the stuff and I'm trying to attack Florida and their attack is going to commence shortly with like they're saying 2.3% or 2.4% of the max population is ridiculous it's going on shortly here but they're going to look at these places and they need to very badly

We need to get going on these items we have one system coming in place and we're going to use it it is the contest over the stitch bike and he says we have to start another one over the stitch boat and to make it work and we have a kit that we sell and there it's an instructions kit and where to buy the metal and where to buy motors and we are going to do that we have several motor manufacturers in-house and they're not massively well known but they work and their outboards this is going to be mainly an outboard even for the cuddy cabin and the open bow is right though when you make it 16 ft boat and you make the different types of it then you go from there it's a great idea it's an intense idea and you can tow 16 ft boat with an F-150 all day and night when it's this light metal and everybody will want one and he's done this kind of thing before and it'll have some safety and single Hall and a safety you can buy things that float and they stay buoyant and you put them in the compartments and it's really nice this is going to be awesome I've never seen something become so interesting to people so quickly and like me don't start this competition for the stitch boat tomorrow for midnight and we have several other things like that and Harley-Davidson is up on the menu again and we're getting calls and they want us to do it and it's about the iron Cross they want to hear it and see it
