"Spartans 989 and 1308 report to the bridge for next mission brief." The intercom echoed throughout the Infinity, grabbing the attention of the majority of the crew... and nearly every spartan aboard the vessel.

Hearing 1308 was never a surprise, as Xanthe was always chosen for demolition missions to cause as much havoc as possible towards Banished outposts. 989... Hayabusa... he, on the other hand, was a ghost- which is why for a brief moment, all work ceased operations, hearing those numbers.

The crimson spartan, sitting in a small corner of the mess hall shrouded by darkness, slowly stood up. All eyes watched the figure as he motioned towards the door. Xanthe, sitting at a table, watched as Hayabusa moved towards the exit, knowing he was making his way to the bridge where no doubt, Captain Lasky would inform them of their mission.

She scrambled up, gathering her gear and putting on her helmet, racing to join him. She got over to his side, somewhat excited to join the legendary spartan.

"Commander Hayabusa, it's an honor." The pink spartan suddenly spoke.

Hayabusa stopped his advance and turned to face her. His verdant visor reflecting off her dark gray. "You know me, yes?" he questioned, to which she took the position of parade rest, aligning her hands behind the lower potion of her back. "Yes sir." she answered quickly. He barked, "Then you would know how I operate my missions. I am a lone wolf, an assassin, I do not work well with others." He continued walking, with more haste, to get this mission over with as quickly as possible.

After his last team fell in combat, he found it hard to trust others, especially spartans under his own command. But Xanthe trusted him to lead her, and accomplish the task at hand. "I'll do as you command sir, but you're not alone- not for this one," she paused for a moment, pondering, "think of it as a quick... tag team. Once it's done, we can go our separate ways- unless command says otherwise!"

The red spartan looked over his shoulder. He simply nodded at her and carried on. He couldn't see it, but underneath her helmet, he knew she was smiling.

It wasn't just anyone who got to work with Hayabusa-989.

how did you design the iterator haloes? any specific method or was it just kind of random?

i wanna design haloes for my ocs too but i don't really know how to start

Posting late cuz my brain wants to ٩(ᐛ)و

Making an iterator halo isn’t as difficult as it seems once you map things out. A lot of my ideas for extra details come from my characters designs, personalities, and key themes.

Let’s use Stars halo as an example as hers is clearer than the others:

Stars halo consists of eyes and a few star themes, reflecting to her design which is covered in eyes and a night sky theme. The color of said halo is also based on her color palette.

To put it forward:

If you want to make it something more symbolic and close to their character, base the halo of some of their core themes, or patterns that fit them the most.

My iterators halos are also based on actual references of angel halos as well, especially my new iterators halo.

Imma put this post here cuz I’m loving it to death! Angel halos

Essence’s halo is not only based on the clock/timer, but the dying halo as mentioned in the linked post (just thought it would be pretty cool to include based on their lore)

Other than that, I’d say try to map things out first, pick key themes, and include it.
