And she takes the “miracle move on drug” the “forget him” pill of which the effects are temporary. Right, right. And then she’s set free, and immediately walks into a sterile office in a VICTORIAN MOURNING gown! And sits down to start working away on her typewriter. She’s writing, and she loves her muse, and it’s ruining her life. Okay. And then she and the muse are laying on the papers, in love. The pages of her work, her diary, her songs, THE FILES!! And they’re together, and the pages are flying around them, blocking them from the camera, okay? You still with me? She reaches for the muse and then she’s getting electric shock therapy?? With curly hair?? Okay. Okay. And again, loving the muse is ruining her life. And all the doctors, the people closest to her, run away scared when the electricity short circuits or whatever, and the muse is the only one who notices and stops it from killing her!!! The muse is in a (glass) phone booth, and Taylor is sitting right on top, but out of view from the muse. And they are in the middle of NOWHERE. The rust that grew between telephones??? And then we’re back in the office, and she’s pulling all the files out of the drawers!! In the mourning gown again!!! And she’s letting them out, ruining the sterility, and she’s freaking out, sobbing. And then she’s facing the camera, stone cold, letting the files swirl around her, now out in the open ON FIRE I MIGHT ADD. And back in the psych ward in the wedding dress, she breaks the glass to escape, to bolt?? And then, once the files are free, once the glass is broken, once the muse steps out of the glass!! Then she can touch the muse. Then she can touch the muse. Somebody give me an oxygen mask, holy shit

It'd be nice if the glass closet is actually gone instead of just being exchanged for better quality glass, but that is still definitely a possibility since somebody who was aware that Taylor fired her beard leaked that information to Blind Item people before the news broke and also claimed that Taylor's new boyfriend is older and even more low-key than the last one.

It's hard to see that as anything but a strategic leak from Taylor's team, so imo it's probably best to temper expectations and just assume that the low-quality glass is being replaced with with high-quality bulletproof glass so that if anything other than that happens it comes as a pleasant surprise instead of a nasty one.

My one thing with this is that Joe was high quality glass. Like look at the way swifties are taking it. Blind items are dubious at best. Based on what’s been released by People (a much more reliable source than blind items) about Joe not liking the attention he got for being linked with Taylor, it would be a weird choice to link her with someone “even more low-key.” Like, if the narrative Taylor’s team is going with is “Taylor and Joe broke up because Taylor is focused on her career and he couldn’t keep up anymore,” then it wouldn’t make sense to immediately set her up with another beard. My guess is that we’ll get single era 2.0 ala pre-1989.

It’s possible that there will be another pane of glass/beard, but I’m basing my guesses on what the current state of affairs is. And the current state of affairs is the Lavender Haze and Bejeweled music videos, Eras Tour visuals and set list. Even if the blind item is an intentional leak from team taylor, it could still just be a red-herring, one that most swifties won’t see.

Don’t worry about me or my expectations. This is more about what I’m hopeful for, what I’m interpreting from her art. I know that anything could happen. And if it’s not what I would prefer, I can move on. I can be optimistic and realistic at the same time, but I don’t want to pull myself down by being pessimistic. I do that in enough areas of my life without bringing gaylor into it 🫶🏻

So.

The Kpop group (G)I-dle, pronounce Idol, is a group of women. They are one of the very rare groups who write and produce many of their songs. They write about a number of feminist issues, and are not shy with their opinions.

They have a song, called "Oh My God," which they have stated is about being seduced by the power of music. It sounds like a women-loving-women sex anthem.

Dreamcatcher is another all-women Kpop group. They are very supportive of LGBTQIA+ fans, during concerts they accept queer flags from the audience and brandish/wear them. They are not weird about their queer fans and appreciate them. One member, Yoohyeon, was infamously asked in an interview if she liked hardworking men. She corrected the interviewer and said she liked hardworking people. People, she insisted. This was apparently VERY clear in Korean, idk, I don't speak Korean.

12yo me really wasn’t the brightest lol. How did I not realize I was gay

Examples of me being extremely gay without realizing it:

I was writing something and wanted my protagonist to have a love interest. I also hated writing male characters so I just decided “she’s a lesbian now” and gave her a girlfriend. I also had problems passing the opposite bechdel test in that story lol, I think there were literally 3 male characters in the entire thing (there were at least 15 named female ones also this was before I learned that enby people existed).

There was also my Animal Crossing: New Leaf town (which has sadly been reset since then and is lost forever). When I started the game, Lolly and Rosie were in my town. I decided they were dating each other but also me (I did not know what polyamory was at this point in my life), and would write them both love letters. I was in a fucking animal crossing polycule.

When I got New Horizons, I managed to get Rosie in my town and continued the story but the polycule became a couple. I think I started headcanoning that Lolly was dead.
