I have not. Honestly, I don't read much bc I'm dyslexic and I have adhd so it's a whole struggle to actually sit down and read a book, but I have found recently that I can stay focused on what I'm reading if I read it on the bus whilst listening to music through my headphones (weird I know but 🤷 it works), so maybe I will check her out after the book I'm currently reading.

Kara: how excited she gets over little things, like the "PANTS!" scene is probs my favourite Kara moment.

Lena: her witty comebacks i.e. "you know it doesn't grow back hair?" or *punches Lex* "Oh, sorry did you want to do that?" etc...

12. What's the funniest or craziest AU idea you've ever come up with?

I am not usually one to think of AUs, but maybe it's this silly Phantom of the Opera Adjudicator concept that I came up with when The Continental was airing. Massive thanks again to Gracie for bringing that to life 🤣

13. What's a character or ship you haven't written/drawn yet but would like to some day?

Sometimes I think about re-entering my rizzles era, but I don't think I'm ready for that yet. And I'm a little worried I'll end up writing korrasami as I watch the show (I just started season 2 but I know some spoilers) 🤣

My rojarias fic is coming soon (for the @supergirlmayhem event!!). I'm very excited about that one!

14. Is there a character or ship you were so sure you would never write/draw but now you've changed your mind?

I honestly never thought I'd write Andrea at all. But Nic convinced me to give Rojarias a try, and it's been a load of fun to write, now that I have a better idea of their voices. I've also thought about drawing them (I'd have never considered it prior).

17. What's a book, movie, or show you think [Lena] would like?

For book: I think she'd really enjoy Julie Czerneda's Species Imperative Trilogy - a wonderful blend of humor, space adventure, aliens, and biology.

As a personal headcanon, I'm convinced she would be a secret poetry lover. Reading the likes of Khalil Gilban (philosophical and romantic), Anne Reeve Aldrich (likely would relate to some of her death poems or sapphic ones), Ono no Komachi (sweet and relaxing), and Tracy Chapman (more modern, space allegories, and romantic at times but also tragic in others). I'm POSITIVE she'd have a copy of The Translations of Seamus Heaney, as it's seven hundred pages of translations that cover 14 languages and countless poets across the European sub-continent from ancient times to Heaney's era.

Movie: Star Wars for sure.

Show: Honestly, I feel like Lena doesn't have time to watch TV shows. So if she does watch one, it'd need to be short. I suspect she watches mostly documentaries, since they would be educational and relaxing. It's easier to work on something else with a documentary in the background as well. The Welcome to Earth documentary series likely would catch her eye. Or the original Cosmos by Carl Sagan, which I suspect is less to learn new things and more for comfort.

17. What's a book, movie, or show you think [character] would like?

You didn't mention a character so I'm just going to list off some Supergirl characters and what I would recommend to them and hope I get the right one (tbf you probs meant Kara or Lena but I want to do the other characters).

Kara: to Kara I would recommend She-Ra and the Princesses of Power so she can escape into a world of fantasy whilst healing her inner child.

Lena: for Lena I would recommend Blackadder for some dry comedy to help her take life less seriously (whilst being old enough that it feels sophisticated).

Alex: for Alex it's gotta be Killing Eve, a sapphic woman working for a secret government organisation? I think she could relate.

Kelly: Grey's Anatomy I feel like she would enjoy the drama and the trauma of it all, plus her wife is in it!

Nia: for Nia it has to be Hot Fuzz I just think she would love it.

Brainy: idk if there's anything on earth that Brainy hasn't seen or read, I'd probably recommend him a self help book on dealing with emotions.

20. When did you first join Tumblr? How long was it between that and finding [fandom]?

I think I first joined tumblr in around 2017, believe it or not this account was originally a studyblr, but I gave up on making that a thing pretty quickly. I discovered supercorp in 2019 and in 2020 I dug up my old tumblr account, deleted my old posts and started posting again (but fandom stuff this time) and the rest is history.

“Lena?” Kara says at the other end of the line excitedly making Lena's heart skip a beat. “Are you on your way to Paris now with James?”

“Actually, we broke up”

“Lena I’m so sorry, are you okay? I can come over if you like. Would you rather I bring ice cream or alcohol? You know what I’ll just bring both...” Kara says frantically looking for ways to cheer Lena up.

“Come to Paris with me?” Lena says feeling a rush of impulsivity she would never usually allow herself to act on.

“Lena, you know I would love that, but are you sure that’s a good idea right now?” Kara says, she sounds concerned.

“If I stay here, I’ll probably spend the weekend at L-corp and I could really use some time off. Plus, I have reservations at this amazing restaurant that were ridiculously hard to get, but above all else I’d just really like to see you and I’m not the really type of person to sit around crying over a boy, I never have been.”

“I suppose if you were going to be crying over a boy you might as well do it in Paris”

Lena smiles “Does that mean you’re in?”
