Title: Gahyeon’s reaction when you pull SuA and Jiu photocards instead of her‘s.
Pairing: Gahyeon x You [FxGN
Warning: none
Words: 617
Gahyeon has been dating you since 6 years. She knows how supportive you are of Dreamcatcher. You always came to their tour concerts, fan-meeting, promotion appointments and pop up stores. So Gahyeon decided to surprise you with letting you unbox their new album merchandise.
Gahyeon walked into the house you both share with an excited expression on her face. In her arms she held two merch of their new albums. She hopes you would pull her photocards or at least one photocard of her.
„I am home darling, where are you...?" Asked Gahyeon with excitement in her voice.
She put the merch on a table to take off her outside clothes before she took the merch again. Gahyeon walked into the kitchen with a very excited expression on her face.
„I am here baby girl." Answered you with happiness in your voice. You walked into the kitchen where you saw her looking at you with sparkle in her beautiful eyes.
You sat down next at Gahyeon in front of the kitchen table. Where you saw new merchandise laying on the table. You couldn't hide the excitement you felt to unbox everything.
„Look what I've got you. Our new merchandise." Announced Gahyeon with excitement in her voice.
You took their new album into your hand to unbox them with a very excited expression on your face. You took out the photobook to open it. You looked through it with a proud expression on your face. You are very proud of your girlfriend Gahyeon and her bandmates. They've come so far from debut until now. It's been a long beautiful journey together. You hope that you can marry Gahyeon in the future when everything has calmed down a little bit.
„It's so beautiful like always baby girl." Admired  you with excitement and proudness in your voice.
You took a few minutes on each page to admire their photos and gave Gahyeon a lot of compliments.
„Thank you..." Thanked Gahyeon with shyness in her voice. She played shyly with her hands which you found very cute in your opinions.
When it came to the photocards part she became excited and nervous. She hoped that you would pull her photocards. Only to be disappointed when she saw photocards of Jiu and SuA. She didn't know what to say or feel about you not pulling her photocards.
„I am so disappointed I thought you would pull my photocards or at least one of mine. I wish you had my photocards. I know how much you love my photocards. Because you love putting them in books and important locations to keep them forever." State Gahyeon with disappointment in her voice.
You kissed her whole face with a happy expression on your face. You saw the way her cheeks flushed red with a shy expression on her face.
„That's very understandable baby girl. I am not upset or anything. I am only sad for you. Because you feel disappointment. Maybe next time I can pull photocards of you Gahyeon. You are very beautiful my love. Especially on the photos in the photobook of you guys new album together." Said you with seriousness, proudness and love in your voice.
You took Gahyeon's hand in yours giving it a comfort squeeze. Who smiled at you with a very grateful expression on her face. Gahyeon is thankful and grateful that you are her partner. She doesn't mind that you are non-binary and support you with all of her heart.
Gahyeon hopes that you pull her photocards in the next album. Meanwhile she will buy you the merch again until you pull her Photocards. She would kiss you for each Photocard that you pull of her.

Life can change in the blink of an eye. Plans you make for the future that you envision can crumble with no warning, leaving you to pick up the pieces and find yourself all over again.
Dreams can go down the drain just as easily as the blood, sweat, and tears it took to make them possible in the first place. Luck can run out.
All of those things can happen, and you knew that. You just never expected them to happen to you.
It was a late November day in 2016 when the world as you knew it changed forever.
Happyface Entertainment had requested that you come in separate from the other members to discuss an important matter. Vividly, you remember how vague they were over the phone; they refused to elaborate on what the meeting would be about. Their voices were soft, holding a carefulness in their tone that you didn’t fully understand until later.
It was regret – because they knew what you didn’t. They knew that your impending removal from the group loomed overhead, waiting like a cobra to strike once you arrived.
And strike, it did. Sitting in the meeting room – which was far too bright and far too suffocating – you grappled with the fate you’d just received. Your heart felt heavy, and your head hurt as it all sunk in.
MINX would be rebranding as ‘Dreamcatcher’ and adding two new members, but you wouldn’t be joining them. You hadn’t made the cut.
Just like that, it was over. Years of your life as a trainee, down the drain. So much pain and hard work, all for nothing. So many sacrifices. So many late nights. They hadn’t gone into detail about why you were turned down specifically, and that was probably a good thing, all things considered. It would’ve just been salt in the wound.
An offer was made for you to stay at the company and potentially continue as a soloist, but you declined it. It was a proposition made from pity at best, and you knew it. How could you have accepted? If they had such little faith in your abilities as a member of a group, you couldn’t imagine it would’ve been magically restored for your solo activities. You refused to become a half-hearted money grab that they could fall back on whenever they needed to; it wasn’t fair to you. With the rebranding set in motion, attention and focus would’ve been placed entirely on the girls; you’d have been made to wait in the meantime with no real end in sight, and it was unlikely you’d ever receive a similar level of support.
You’d have become the company’s has-been. Its resident outcast.
And the prospect of joining another company – if you were even lucky enough for that – was just as daunting. After training and growing up with the girls in such a way for so many years of your life, you couldn’t imagine going solo or joining another group.
That wasn’t something you wanted. And, of course, given the blow that the company’s decision had dealt to your confidence, you felt incapable. You were too overwhelmed to be there any longer with all of their eyes on you, judging in one way or another.
So while you still had enough composure over yourself, you bid farewell to them and left, leaving behind a part of yourself in the process.
The real challenge came, though, when you had to say goodbye to the girls. They all handled the news differently, in their own ways, but it wasn’t something they could process easily at all.
Sua was prepared to leave the dorm and have an angry word with the higher ups, but you stopped her before she could. It wouldn’t have done any good; if anything, it could’ve put her in jeopardy, too, and that was the last thing you wanted.
Siyeon went quiet as the idea of moving on without you sunk in. How could she part ways with someone she’d grown so close to? You were supposed to live out your dreams together. It wasn’t fair.
The normal spark in Yoohyeon’s eyes dimmed, and she retreated into herself. Her bubbliness dissipated in an instant, replaced by more sadness than she knew what to do with. She was the first to begin crying, and she sought the comfort of your arms when it became too much for her to handle alone.
Dami, ever the reasonable one, was determined to phone the higher ups and talk some sense into them. She was convinced that if the other members all banded together and expressed their disapproval in a logical way, they would have no choice but to give you a chance, at the very least. But you stopped her for the same reason that you had stopped Sua. They had made themselves clear at the meeting, and you knew in your heart that their minds were made up.
You didn’t notice the tears in Dami’s eyes until you took her phone out of her hand and put it on the table beside her. When you brought her into your arms for a hug, they fell onto your shirt, warm and full of sadness. She hated feeling helpless more than anything else in the world, and knowing there was nothing left to do broke her heart.
Watching it all unfold was Jiu. She couldn’t wrap her mind around it; it felt like she was having a nightmare. How could they have turned you away like that? You were just as good at your job as any of them, and you were one of the most dedicated people she’d ever known. The fans loved you. Your talent showed without you even trying; it made no sense that they would let you go so easily.
She tried to stop her tears from falling, but when you finally looked up at her, surrounded by the other members, she couldn’t hold back anymore.
You had been her rock ever since she met you – her safe place. She could express her worries and concerns freely with you, despite her position as leader. Hell, you were just as much of a leader to the girls as she was. Your consistency and energy held everything together, and the members depended on you, always. She depended on you more than words could explain; you were the first and last thing on her mind most days. You kept her level headed when she felt the weight of the world on her shoulders, and you never let her lose sight of her goals.
Losing the backbone of the group seemed unfathomable in every way. Never in a million years would she have expected it to happen.
But beyond that, Jiu felt like she was losing two people. Y/N – the member of her group – and Y/N – the woman she had harbored secret feelings for for as long as she could remember. She had planned to confess soon, but the opportunity for that was stripped away from her by this news of your departure. Her heart broke as she realized that you wouldn’t be in the dorm anymore; all those early morning and late night conversations and hang outs wouldn’t happen anymore. She wouldn’t be able to just walk to your room when she missed you, or hit you up with spontaneous plans whenever she felt like it. You’d be miles away and busy building whatever life you chose in the wake of this.
And the new members? They could never replace you. Not in a million years.
But she made a vow to never take her resentment for the situation out on them, because at the end of the day they were just striving to achieve their dreams as well. And besides, she knew you wouldn't have wanted her to be angry at them. Though, even still, she knew she'd always think of you when seeing them. A disappointment – a longing – would always remain in her heart, lamenting over what could've been.
Because, at the end of the day, things would never be the same again. No matter how much you tried to stay in contact, conflicting schedules and prior engagements would eventually get in the way. Frequent calls and check ins would fade, becoming few and far between. Communication would be more difficult, given the distance. Nothing would compare to having you by her side in all the ways she had for the past few years.
It all hit her at once, like an icy slap to the face. She tried to stay strong for everyone, but it was one of the hardest pills that she’d ever had to swallow.
When you called her over and wrapped your arms around her, it took every bit of courage she had to keep from breaking down. As you wiped her tears and held her close, she tried to commit the feeling of it all to memory. She wanted to store it somehow, so that her body could never forget it. Her nails dug into the material of your shirt with purpose, and you simply hugged her harder at the feeling.
You had no idea that she was in love with you. You were oblivious to it in the most heartbreaking kind of way. But she knew it was too late to tell you now. Putting that on you in the midst of everything else didn’t feel right, no matter how much she wanted to shout it from the rooftops. She wanted to find a way to justify it, selfishly, so that she didn’t have to deal with the reality of it alone. She wondered if maybe, if things were different, you would’ve felt the same.
It killed her, knowing that she couldn’t have you. Knowing that you were slipping right through her fingers and she was powerless to stop it. She’d have to pretend to be unfazed from now on, but she knew anytime she’d enter the dorm or company building you’d be the first thing on her mind.
Her eyes would automatically go to the spot you would’ve been in. Choreographies now arranged for seven would always feel a little foreign, in the back of her mind. All the little things were already piling up, and she didn’t think that time was capable of easing the strain they placed on her heart. When it came to someone like you, so interwoven into her daily life and routines, she couldn’t fathom even spending a full week apart.
But the kiss that you pressed to her cheek reminded her that you were still there for the moment. The brush of your soft skin against hers as she nuzzled her head into the crook of your neck brought her peace and calmed her down.
For now, she could still reach out and touch you. She could call you whenever she wanted to. Whip up a snack for you and show her affection in all the many ways that she loved to. For now.
The company had informed you that they would only give you until the start of the next week to pack your things and find a new living situation before you were officially removed.
It was all so fast. Too fast, for any of them to properly handle. You all knew it would be one of those things that you never fully got over. Just one of life’s cruelties.
But for the last few days that you had left together, the girls promised to remain at your side. Between packing and bouts of crying, you’d do your favorite activities together. Movies and ice cream would be used to cope, with your sobs excused by whatever sad displays were playing out on the TV. You could go out on the town, order in, sing karaoke in the early hours of the morning, relax quietly – anything. They were determined to make them some of the most special days that you’d ever known.
After all, you deserved nothing less. Their shining star: Y/N.

Time Jump
For a while, things were relatively fine in the aftermath. You settled into the routine of your new life, living on the outskirts of Seoul and working at a quaint coffee shop that had happened to be hiring. The owners graciously allowed you to live in the small apartment above the café, and they treated you well.
The girls each found time to spend with you, whether it be to shop, relax somewhere together, or just catch a meal at one of your favorite restaurants. They called and texted often, always making sure that you were doing well and taking care of yourself. They never failed to mention how much they missed you and how boring things were without you.
On exceptionally beautiful Spring and Summer days, Jiu would do her best to have a floral arrangement sent to you. Her favorite flowers were paired with the ones you loved most, and a big bow usually held them all together. Sometimes, a short handwritten note even accompanied them.
If you were craving a specific food and mentioned it online somewhere, every now and then someone (who you later found out was Sua) would have a fresh batch of it delivered to your doorstep. It didn’t happen very often, but when it did you felt so cared for.
Siyeon made sure to include you in Dreamcatcher activities, whether it be by using your representative emoji / animal in posts or doing a certain hand sign that you had more or less claimed as your own during your time with them. It was subtle, but it meant the world to you.
Yoohyeon sent you letters and pictures from time to time. Following a short vacation to Jeju that the girls went on together, she sent you a handwritten letter and some polaroids that they took with you in mind.
In a solo project that Dami did, she added some subtle call outs to your situation and how unfair it was. Clearly, she was still as upset about the situation as before, and she missed how things used to be.
They all even posted special messages on their Instagram accounts whenever your birthday rolled around, ensuring that you felt included.
But, as all good things do, their efforts started to fade after a while. Their schedules picked up during comeback season; events were held that kept them tethered to either their practice rooms, beds, or the stage; and other avenues of life got in the way.
They faced more backlash than before, too, on the rare occasions that they were seen out with you. Some fans were still supportive and glad to see you, but others expressed their wishes for you to get a life and accept that you weren’t a part of the group anymore. Their comments and heckling were hurtful, adding salt to your still-sensitive wound; but you knew it upset the girls on top of that, and arguably, that hurt you more than anything the haters could’ve ever said.
By then, you’d grown used to the harsh comments about yourself. But the girls never did; anytime they read or heard them, their once-happy smiles would always fade, and the shine in their eyes would dim as they looked at you. So many emotions were present, yet they remained unspoken. A million things, all too big and complicated for words.
You knew then that your time with them was dwindling. Every visit seemed to be a little shorter, or interruptions from the company would spring up. Juggling everything was weighing on them, and you could see it clear as day.
So you decided then that you would distance yourself. For the sake of everyone, you let your connections slip away, just enough. You’d learned over the months that fading away gradually and quietly hurt the least and was the most effective, and so you chose that path.
For the most part, it worked. Other than on major holidays or birthdays, they were too busy to stop you or change things. Their texts came in less frequently, and video calls were few and far between.
Although it pained you, you learned to live without them.
It was more difficult than you expected, especially in the beginning; you’d underestimated just how much they’d impacted even the smallest parts of your life. When good news came or you wanted to share something you’d learned, it was always your first instinct to pick up the phone and dial up their numbers. Sometimes you found yourself looking through old pictures and reminiscing on the memories that were tied to them.
But you had to let go of that. Those habits that you picked up after years of being around them didn’t serve you anymore, and you had to break them.
When it rained, you no longer allowed yourself to remember the way that Yoohyeon would cling to you under your umbrella after realizing she had misplaced hers.
When the rich scents of the nearby forest flitted their way over towards the coffee shop, you didn’t let your mind wander onto what Siyeon was up to.
The warmth of the Sun didn’t remind you of Jiu’s smile.
Loud laughter from patrons didn’t conjure up an image of Sua anymore.
And quiet Fall afternoons passed by the turning pages of whatever book you were reading didn’t make you think of Dami’s quiet charm.
You didn’t allow the little moments to take you back, because you knew you’d never want to leave that state of mind if they did. It was undoubtedly one of the hardest challenges you ever faced, but you did it nonetheless.
—------
Two Years Later
It all started in time with the changing of the seasons. You were certain of it.
As the anniversary of MINX’s disbandment neared, a heavy feeling came to visit you again, like an unwelcome guest.
The warmth faded. What few leaves were left on the trees made their final leap to the solid ground below, joining the swaths of others there to wither away. The skies were cloudy a lot of the time, basking the new season in an eerie haze. It wasn’t satisfactory at all – nothing like what that time of year is usually like, and nothing like what people look forward to. The approaching holiday season was off to a lackluster start by all accounts.
But you did your best to persevere.
Your job kept you busy most of the time, and you were grateful for that. Had it not, you would’ve spent the hours stuck on the past and wondering what you would’ve been up to at a time like this. Fansigns? Behind the scenes for a new music video? Song writing?
Any lull in the flow of customers allowed you to think, and you didn’t want that. Having no thoughts seemed better than having too many, after all.
But on one fateful afternoon, something unexpected happened. Destiny intervened – interrupting the monotonous flow that your life had taken on – and enabled the universe to work its magic.
In Your Apartment
You had just sat down to eat a nice late lunch that you had prepared. The café owners had left town to visit some relatives for the evening, and so they gave you the rest of the day off.
The television in front of you came to life as you pressed the buttons of the remote, and a garbled stream of changing colors and graphics washed across the room as you flipped through the available channels in search of something worthwhile to watch.
You eventually found something halfway decent and began eating.
It was a simple sandwich that you had purchased from the store, paired with a salad. Nothing fancy, but it was still tasty.
No more than five bites in, your phone began to ring on the coffee table in front of you. You sighed and reached out for it, ready to flip it over and see if it was someone you could ignore or not.
Once you saw who it was, though, you froze.
A smiling picture of Jiu lit up its screen, bright and achingly beautiful. It had been so long since she’d called that you almost forgot how to act.
Should you even answer?
“Hello?” You asked, attempting to hide the nervous lilt in your voice.
“Ah, Y/N,” she greeted, a smile evident in the words, “...hi.”
You sat your fork down, curious as to why she was calling you so out of the blue.
“I was wondering if you’d like to hang out with the girls and I after our performance today. We’ve missed you a lot and we want to catch up,” she explained, as if she read your mind. She was straight to the point, and you both loved and hated that.
Part of you wanted her to trade the usual niceties that come when you haven’t talked to someone in a long time, but deep down you knew that reverting to small talk with her wouldn’t have felt quite right either.
“I–”
“But it’s totally okay if you don’t want to!” She interrupted in a rush, pushing the words out like her life depended on it.
Her panic was endearing; it almost sounded like a teenager asking out their crush, if you thought about it.
You chuckled lightly, oblivious to the way it made her heart speed up. “I was going to say that I’d love to, Jiu. What time?”
This could be a huge mistake, but she had a way of working past your defenses in an instant, even after all this time.
Her sigh of relief was audible, though you were sure she didn’t intend for it to be. It just made you smile even more.
“We should be finished up here at Show Champion around seven, so how about eight? That’ll give us time to go to the dorm and freshen up first.”
Your smile faltered at her mention of the dorm. “Sounds good,” you agreed. “Where should I meet you?”
She pulled the phone away from her ear and called for the girls, quickly asking for suggestions. A bittersweet smile graced your lips at the image of them in your mind, all thinking hard and throwing out ideas while gathered around her. It brought back so many memories.
Sua shouted her choice so loudly that even you heard it crystal clear. The rest of them took a few seconds to agree, and then Jiu put the phone back to her ear.
“How about our favorite restaurant near the dorm? The one we would always go to at this time of year.”
“I’ll be there.”
“I can’t wait. See you soon.”
-
You finished your meal and showered before spending nearly a lifetime picking out what you wanted to wear. You didn’t have many fancy clothes to choose from, especially on such short notice, but you managed to put together a nice outfit that was still casual enough for a night out.
You wanted to do something special – to surprise the girls somehow – just as a way of thanking them for all they’d done. Seeing them would undoubtedly bring back a lot of feelings and memories, but you couldn’t say that you weren’t looking forward to it. You couldn’t remember the last time they’d been free enough to call you up and invite you out, or even when your own schedule had allowed you to be the one to initiate things. So, this once, you felt like indulging a little. Distancing could begin again later.
Spending some time with them would surely do you some good in the meantime, anyway. At least that’s what you told yourself.
With a glance at the clock, you discovered that you still had plenty of time to throw together a quick little surprise for them. The plan came together in your mind on the fly, and everything seemed completely doable.
You just crossed your fingers and hoped for the best as you left your apartment and locked the shop up. You really wanted this gesture to make them happy.
The Four Leaf Clover
Your shoes made soft crunching noises as they treaded over the sidewalk, even and rhythmic with your stride. For once, you didn’t mind the chill that washed over your body when the wind blew; it was refreshing. Your mind was too busy wondering what the night would hold to feel upset about anything, really, and you cherished that. You couldn’t remember the last time that had happened.
The familiar corner shop – your destination – came into view a couple of minutes later, comfortably lit and cozy looking. An old man – one of its owners – sat outside of it on a wooden chair, completing a puzzle. He greeted you with a warm smile and seated bow, and you reciprocated before heading inside.
A small bell above the door announced your entrance.
“Welcome,” a feminine voice chimed, slightly worn with age.
“Hi, Mrs. Park,” you smiled, approaching the counter.
“My, my. It’s been too long, Y/N. How have you been?”
You took a breath.
“Fine; I can’t complain. And you?”
“Still kicking, sweetie. That’s all I can ask for.” She chuckled to herself.
You nodded, regarding her. She still looked the same as you remembered. The years hadn’t even given her another wrinkle yet.
“So,” she started, “What can I get for you?”
“I’d like a custom arrangement: just seven pretty flowers with a nice bow.”
She hummed at the simple request. “And what kind of flowers will you be needing?”
“Oh, I um…” Somehow you hadn’t thought that far ahead. “I’m not sure, actually.”
“Don’t worry,” she mitigated. “I can pick them out for you. Who are they for? And what’s the occasion?”
Your shoulders relaxed a little, put at ease.
“For some friends,” you explained. “We haven’t seen each other in a while.”
As you pictured all seven of them, Jiu stood out in your mind, like usual. The owner eyed you, studying the unconscious smile on your lips.
“Friends, huh?” She teased.
You opened your mouth to respond, but she didn’t let you.
“I’ll have it ready in a jiffy. Hang tight, sweetheart.” She turned and pushed her way past the swinging doors that led to the back, shuffling off to put together your arrangement.
You took the next few minutes to leisurely stroll around the small shop and admire all the creations it had to offer. Handmade crafts, knick knacks, and fresh bouquets were displayed beautifully. Small hand written signs indicated their prices, hanging near them or leaning on their stands. The marker lines on them were a little shaky, showing that whoever wrote them had done so with a trembling hand.
The little details like that, seemingly so insignificant, showcased just how much effort the two of them put into the store.
They’d been running it ever since you could remember. Having grown up nearby and attended your training at the company, you were never very far from it. When you moved into the dorm with the girls, it only brought you closer. The place almost always stayed busy, being frequented by families and supporters alike at all times of the year.
Specials were given during exam season, because the Parks were aware of the stress that families were already under. They still wanted the students’ efforts to be celebrated.
Those in mourning were given discounts on funeral arrangements to lessen their burdens.
Holiday events were hosted towards the end of the year, giving people the chance to come in and learn to properly decorate their own arrangements. Refreshments were provided, and they never failed to bring out the festive joy that that time of year is known for. Classes were taught by Mrs. Park, with her husband handing out supplies and ensuring everyone was well taken care of.
Even when one of them was ill, the store stayed open. They made a promise to each other to keep their doors open for as long as possible, and they stayed true to that.
That kind of consistency is beyond rare.
You can only imagine how many days they saved by simply being open. Birthdays, funerals, anniversaries, parties, house warmings… you name it, they’ve saved it.
It made you smile to yourself in a grateful kind of way, as your fingertips traced along the side of an antique clock on the counter. This tiny store, so unassuming and quaint, housed so many memories for so many people.
What a beautiful thing it was.
“Seven orange alstroemerias,” Mrs. Park called, signaling that she was finished.
You padded your way back over to her and found her zhuzhing up a beautiful array of them. They were vibrant and open wide, flaunting their colors.
“They symbolize devotion and friendship,” she informed.
“They’re perfect. Thank you so much.”
Your fingertips skated over the silky material of the bow she had wrapped around them. It was prettier than you ever could’ve imagined.
She smiled deeply. “No problem, sweetheart.”
“How much do I owe you?” You inquired, reaching into your pocket for your cash.
“Twelve dollars.”
When you handed her the total amount, she took it into her small hands and pressed some buttons on the register to enter it in.
You peered down into the bouquet as you slid it closer to yourself, and a flash of red amongst the sea of orange caught your eye, nestled a little further down than all the others. Its petals were far different, too.
“Oh, ma’am,” you said, catching her attention before she could hand your change back. “You put an extra flower in here. A rose.”
“Oh, did I?” She tutted, but her response gave you the feeling that it wasn’t such an accident after all. “Go ahead and keep it, then. Free of charge,” she waved her hand into the air. “I’m sure you can find someone to give it to.”
She absolutely did that on purpose. The tell-tale smile on her lips as she handed you your change sold her out on the spot.
“Thank you.”
“You're welcome, honey. Have a good evening.”
You smiled just the same as her, finally on the same wavelength. “You, too.”

Show Champion
The flowers rested in the crook of your elbow as you sent a quick text on your phone, letting your friend know that you were outside the building. The wind blew rather harshly as you waited for a reply; it rippled over your long overcoat and nipped at your cheeks, stinging your skin.
Go-eun, the woman you were waiting on, had worked here ever since you were still a part of MINX. It was here that you first met her, all that time ago, and an easy-going friendship had blossomed almost immediately. Despite everything that had happened over the past few years, she had remained your friend and stayed in touch through it all. You were beyond glad to have her.
Before long, an outside door creaked open and her smiling face emerged. She had on a headset that connected her to the action that was happening inside.
Her hand raised to it and she pressed a button as she motioned you inside. You stepped through the threshold and shook the cold off.
“I owe you one.”
Her head swayed lightly and she waved a dismissing hand. “Don’t mention it. It’s the least I can do.”
“Thank you, Go-eun. Really.”
Her smile simply deepened in response, and she sent you a thumbs up for encouragement. You had explained your plan over the phone on your way to the performance hall, and she herself was excited to see it unfold.
“Go get ‘em.”
You parted ways and headed down the side hallway towards the waiting rooms for the artists. The layout was still somewhat familiar from your time as an idol, but they had clearly rearranged some things in your absence. Your hands gripped the flowers a little harder, ringing their stems unconsciously.
After some walking, you rounded one final corner and were greeted by a sight that made your breath hitch tightly in your throat.
Jiu’s laughter filled the hall as she exited a room, leading all the other girls out. They were joking about something that Sua had said, and they lightly jostled each other around. Gahyeon and Handong, the two new members, looked radiant in the dark outfits that their stylists had prepared. They fit into the group seamlessly, filling your shoes in some ways that you never could’ve.
From what you had seen of them during your occasional bouts of watching Dreamcatcher’s content, it was easy to see how much they shined. They deserved every good thing in the world; they worked hard to achieve their dreams, just the same as the rest of you. They were talented; you could see why they were chosen for a task as daunting as a rebranding.
No hard feelings existed between you, but your heart undeniably ached at the sight of them all together. Yet again, you were stuck on the outside looking in.
From idol to fan, just like that. The beheld to the admirer. It still got to you.
“Y/N?”
Yoohyeon was the first to notice you. Her voice was small and full of cautious hope. She didn’t want to blink and find out that she was imagining things.
“Hi, Yooh. Miss me?” You smiled sadly, tilting your head.
Her lip quivered in response. She always was the most emotional out of all of them.
Despite the loudness of the stage further away in the building, the hallway had fallen almost completely silent. It rang in your ears. The drop of a pen could be heard.
The rest of them turned in your direction at the sound of your voice. Jiu locked eyes with you; her brows knitted together pitifully, like she wanted to cry, too.
“What’re you doing here?” Incredulity shimmered in her tone.
The others perked up behind her, regarding you in quiet astonishment. They never expected you to be here.
Down the hall, near where Go-eun was peeking out at the crowd through a curtain, a security officer pressed the button of his walkie-talkie and spoke an order into it. He was keeping watch, making sure things ran smoothly.
You smiled to yourself and reached into the bouquet to retrieve the rose. Once it was freed, you outstretched it to Jiu. Her fingertips brushed against its petals as she glanced at the others. She realized then that hers was the only rose.
You were able to watch that fact dawn on her, filling her with hope.
Could this mean that you…
“I wanted to surprise you all and show my support,” you explained. “I hope you–”
It all happened in a flash.
“Stop right there!” A booming voice shouted suddenly. Quick-moving footsteps, heavy and dull as they resounded against the floor, accompanied it.
Just as Sua stepped forward to see what the commotion was, two men approached either side of you and roughly grabbed you by the arms.
None of you had thought that their warning was aimed at you.
The flowers all fell to the ground, getting stomped on by their careless feet.
“Hey!” Dami exclaimed in response.
You struggled against them, tugging on your arms in an attempt to be freed. Despite the attempts you made to explain who you were, they didn’t listen.
“We’re sorry, ladies.” They addressed the girls, “She must’ve managed to sneak her way back here from the crowd.”
Your heart sank. They thought you were just another fan.
Jiu stepped forward, extending a hand to you.
Siyeon spoke up, “But she’s–”
They smugly shook their heads, and one of them raised a hand to stop her. “Don’t worry, we’ll get her out of your hair.”
Sua looked at them like they were insane. As they turned on their heels and harshly pulled you along, she marched behind them and grabbed the sleeve of one of their uniforms.
“Yah, saekki, she’s not just a fan!” She shouted.
They turned around, looking embarrassed and caught off guard by her use of language. “What?”
“She’s our friend. Now let her go.”
If looks could kill, those two men would’ve dropped dead on the spot. They released you in an instant and apologized, quickly bowing multiple times to everyone to show their so-called respect. They rushed away, returning to their posts immediately after.
In their wake, the hallway returned to silence. Blaring, awful silence.
Although the encounter was over fairly quickly and was now resolved, the damage had been done.
Yoohyeon approached you and tried to fix your mussed clothes, but you caught her hands before she could. You held them in your own, looking past her at the mangled bouquet on the ground, completely ruined. Aside from being pissed off, the girls all looked distressed and sad. Gahyeon and Handong averted their gazes, feeling ashamed. Jiu was almost teary eyed; Sua was shaking her head in anger; Siyeon went quiet; and Dami had her jaw set with a look of contempt on her face. Staggered curses fell from their lips.
In a matter of just a couple minutes, their happiness had soured and turned into this. What could’ve been a wonderful moment was now marred by your presence and the chaos that you brought along.
You never should have come here.
“I-I’m sorry, everyone.”
You dropped Yoohyeon’s hands and turned around, briskly striding towards the side door that you had entered. Tears of embarrassment stung your eyes, and you quickly swiped them away.
Go-eun looked concerned as you approached, but you just shook your head at her and left with a promise of explaining later. The wind was somehow even colder than before as you rushed out the door, and once it mixed with your salty tears you finally let yourself go.
Fresh ones fell freely, replacing the others that threatened to dry from the wind. You sat down outside of the building and pressed your back against the frigid surface of the wall. Your forehead came to rest on your knees as you cried, feeling stupid.
Why had you ever expected that to work out? You were such an idiot.
Gahyeon reached down and picked up the bouquet, frowning. Sua and Siyeon had left directly after you to reprimand the security officers, and Dami was comforting a teary Yoohyeon. Jiu still held her rose in her hands, turning it over and over.
She glanced back at the girls and nodded before heading after you. In the small gap that existed between her belt and the outside of her pants, she slid the stem of her rose. With it secured in place, she quickly treaded down the hallway.
When she slipped out the side door and saw you curled up, her heart broke. You raised your head at the sound of the heavy metal latching back into place behind her, and inadvertently met her gaze.
You stood up and wiped the rest of your tears before walking in the opposite direction. You didn’t even give her a chance to speak.
Although she was taken aback, she didn’t stall in going after you. Not anymore.
“Go back inside, Jiu.”
“No.”
You walked further down the sidewalk, tucking your hands into your pockets. “If you stick around me, I’ll just end up causing more problems.”
“Don’t say that, Y/N!” She scolded, sounding even more upset than she was inside. She had no reason to be, since you were just removing yourself from the situation. She wouldn’t have to worry about you anymore this way.
“Why shouldn’t I? It’s true, and we both know it!” You returned, exasperated. “You don’t have to pretend otherwise for my sake.”
“I’m not pretending,” she pressed, following after you. Her outfit wasn’t suitable for the weather, but the emotions coursing through her numbed her to the chill. This exchange hurt her more than the wind ever could, anyway. Why did you insist so hard on leaving?
“Just stop,” you said over your shoulder, not bothering to turn around. “Maybe another day,” you said, in reference to your plans.
You were far too upset to enjoy the night after all that, and awkwardly pretending that it didn’t happen would be just as painful.
“No!” She erupted, grabbing your arm and spinning you around. Your jaw went a little slack at the suddenness of it; this was a totally new side of her.
“I’m sick of waiting, Y/N. That’s all I’ve ever done when it comes to you, and I’m not doing it anymore.”
Your brows furrowed. “What are you talking about?”
Her features were strikingly beautiful – so sharp. Their jaded edges displayed everything she was feeling, despite your inability to read them. You were still just as oblivious as ever.
She snuck a hurried glance around the both of you before pulling you over to the side of the building. She pushed you against it directly after, catching you off guard. Her arms wound around your middle as she moved to hold you close.
You had half the inclination to ask what she was doing, but the feeling of her mouth on yours interrupted those thoughts before they could even finish forming.
Her lips kissed a reply against yours, saying all the words she never could before.
I love you, they pressed, urgent and hard enough to bruise.
I always have, they whispered without words, soft in their reassurance.
A million confessions flowed from them to yours, spreading like the strawberry gloss that painted them so beautifully. She couldn’t possibly have cared less about the messy state you were putting her in; she lived for the way you came alive in her arms, kissing her back with just as much passion as she felt herself. It was a confirmation that the feelings she had were mutual in the best type of way.
A muffled sigh left you as you brought your arms up to wrap around her neck and draw her in closer. She pressed the length of her body against yours, molding to you like never before. Her hands gripped your hips possessively, begging you to stay for once in your life and see this through. She was afraid to let go again.
Her teeth captured your bottom lip as you tilted your head to the side, granting her more access. She took the opportunity to deepen the kiss without a second thought, releasing her inhibitions. She lost herself in your taste – in the feel of you. It was everything that she’d hoped for and more after spending so many years waiting.
You were like Heaven to touch.
The perfume on your neck drew her under as her lips trailed over your sensitive skin there, leaving a mark in their wake.
She smiled when your hand fisted in her hair, returning the desperation that she felt. Her head was in the clouds.
“Please don’t ever run away like that again,” she whispered against your jawline, allowing her lips to brush it in the process. “What happened wasn’t your fault.” She left small kisses behind as little reminders of her love for you.
“Just because things went sideways in there doesn’t mean we don’t want you around. We’ve all missed you so much, Y/N/N… you have no idea.”
“I’m sorry.”
She pulled away enough to touch her nose to yours, moving it side to side. When you laughed at the feeling, she smiled.
“The girls and I need you more than you know. They love you, and I…” she paused, swallowing nervously, “I love you. I have for a long time now.”
You stole another quick kiss from her lips, rewarding her for her confession. “Me too.”
Her thumbs rubbed comforting patterns against your hips. “Then will you stay? Please?”
You took a deep breath of the evening air to bring you back to your senses. You were still reeling, if you were honest, and thinking straight wasn’t something you felt very capable of with the woman of your dreams holding you in her arms like she was. Her kiss-swollen lips pouted, only further corrupting you.
“I’ll stay,” you nodded. “And we can still go to the restaurant.”
She pulled away and did a little victory dance that had you smiling in an instant. Her face brightened, donning a beautiful smile as she cheered. She was such a dork that you almost couldn’t stand it.
If any paparazzi were lurking nearby, her questionable choice of celebratory dance moves would’ve undoubtedly been a larger scandal then the kisses you shared.
“Alright, alright,” you interrupted after a few seconds, stepping forward and grabbing her wrist to stop her. “We get the idea.”
“I’m just so happy,” she cooed, gazing into your eyes with so much love you nearly swooned at the mere sight of it.
“So are we,” Sua said from nearby all of a sudden.
“AHHH!” Both you and Jiu let out a scream of terror at the same time.
“How long have you been standing there?!” Jiu barked, recovering with a hand over her heart.
Sua pursed her lips, thinking for a second. “Just long enough to see your dance.”
“Very interpretive,” Siyeon narrowed her eyes and nodded, giving a thumbs up. She slung her arm around Sua’s shoulder as she came to stand beside her.
Yoohyeon and Dami appeared behind them a few seconds later, attempting to suppress their laughter. “You guys didn’t hear the door latch? It’s like a hundred years old.” Yoohyeon giggled.
You cleared your throat, blushing more than you would’ve liked to. “I guess we were a little preoccupied.”
“Yeah, about to fuc–” Gahyeon began.
“Language!” The unnies all shouted in unison, interrupting the youngest member. She rolled her eyes, but an amused smile rested on her lips regardless as she neared the group as well. It grew wider when she looked at you, causing her eyes to form into little crescents.
Handong was the last to show herself, but it was for a good reason.
The bouquet was cradled in her hands, still wrapped in the paper and bow that it came with. Tape was wound around every broken piece of the flowers’ stems, making them semi-straight again. All of the girls had done their best to repair the damage that the guards had done, and that simple gesture alone made you want to cry all over again. The sentiment was unexpected but beyond welcome.
“We’re really excited to spend the evening with you, Y/N,” Handong spoke, soft and smooth. “The girls talk about you all the time.”
You glanced around at all of them, finally feeling content in a way you hadn’t since you left the dorm all that time ago. So much love and adoration shined in their eyes for you, clear as day. For you, they’d do just about anything.
And while things wouldn’t ever be quite the same as they were before, you knew then that the girls would forge a new future with you in it, however they needed to. They never wanted to lose you again, and something about this time felt different. Deep down in your heart, you knew it would last.
As their arms all wrapped around you in the group hug that Sua initiated, you let your eyes fall shut.
“I’m excited, too,” you said, smiling to yourself.
And for the first time in a long time, you really meant it.

Tumblr media
Admittedly, you were popular.
If you imagined every subscriber you had in a room, it would be sardine packed.
Ten people was a lot.
One-Hundred people was a lot.
One million? A lot.
As the number grew, so your popularity. You were consistent with putting out content, you had a magnetic energy to you that had people across the globe returning for more.
You’ve cheered people up, made people laugh, and you’re someone’s role model, just as your role model is for you.
“Hey, all! Welcome back!”
You loved reading comments of encouragement. The endless compliments that would multiply by the hour.
This was your hobby. Making videos and sharing them with the world— Not as easy a task as you’d expected, but you were proud of yourself for making that jump, and that’s all that mattered.
Then there was Gahyeon, as stunning as ever and just as popular, if not more.
She was energetic and had a way of making even the most irritable person smile. Even you found yourself drawn to her.
“Welcome back, Gahyeon!” Gahyeon’s greeting played through your headphones, watching her latest video.
You never realized how similar your intros were. It was almost as if she completed your intro with her name. The thought of her watching your videos gave you a warm feeling that couldn’t be explained in just words.
Gahyeon watching your videos— Watching you, knowing what you looked like, sounded like, as well as your hobbies, and the schedule you typically posted.
You scrolled through the comments as her ‘Q&A’ video continued to play while you were waiting on a lengthy car ride to the convention you were a guest at.
As you scrolled further down, you noticed your name being mentioned more. At first, once or twice every few comments, but the further you scrolled, they became back-to-back full of mentions of you and a specific time stamp.
The comments varied from excitement that her fanbase felt when you had been mentioned to comments that stated how they shipped you and Gahyeon. All of them made your heart flutter.
You clicked the timestamp, hearing Gahyeon’s voice as she moved on to the next question.
“Have you seen Y/N’s videos?”
Your heart thumped hard against your chest as Gahyeon’s eyes lit up as she looked at the camera.
“Who hasn’t? They are amazing.” Gahyeon’s answer made you immediately pause, trying not to garner any attention from anyone in the vehicle with you.
The last thing you wanted was to cause a wreck because you felt like screaming.
Then again, you felt you could die a happy death.
“I actually really love them. They seem like a nice person, so Y/N,” Gahyeon leaned closer to the camera. “Hit me up.”
You paused again after she winked at the camera and screamed, startling everyone in the vehicle.
-
Upon entering the venue where the convention would be held at, you noticed how many fans were wearing shirts or hold signs that had either you or Gahyeon on it, and occasionally the other guests.
The excitement you felt when you noticed Gahyeon was at the booth beside yours, shot through the roof.
You had to remind yourself to be professional and that you were here as a guest, not a fan.
Screw that.
Gahyeon was right there.
You wanted her autograph just as much as the long line of people in front of her booth.
“Y/N.” A staff member caught your attention and you realized you were holding up your own line by staring at Gahyeon.
“I am so sorry.” You apologized to the fan in front of you, signing their autograph. Your fans were luckily understanding, if not happy, that you were staring at Gahyeon.
The next fan came up to you, handing you something to sign, “I think you and Gahyeon would be cute together.”
And for a moment, you felt a rush of confidence.
“I agree.”
The fans around had all heard you, gasps and awes filled the area, causing you to become flustered.
The fan left, satisfied, and you noticed them entering Gahyeon’s line next.
For a split second, you wished you were behind a screen, hiding from how bold you were moments ago. Sure, you were a celebrity— Technically, but you often forgot that fact. Making videos was your hobby. You were still as much a regular person as Gahyeon was and the pedestal you placed her on made you bolder than you would’ve been if you said that about a random person.
You began to consider the fact that maybe you were crushing on her.
Then you remembered Gahyeon saying she loved you.
Only as a fan, but she still said it.
As you signed more autographs, you would occasionally glance over at Gahyeon, only you were more nervous seeing the fan you agreed with reaching the front of the line.
The next time you glanced at Gahyeon, she and the fan were both looking at you, her cheeks were a tint of pink as she wore a smile on her face.
You quickly looked away, now knowing the fan relayed what you said, despite not being able to actually hear their conversation.
’She thinks I’m weird.’
‘Shut up, no she doesn’t.’
Thoughts swam around your mind, trying your best to focus on the fans in front of you.
‘You can’t rush yourself into a relationship.’
‘Watch me.’
‘No, Y/N. Stop overthinking.’
At this point, you felt like you were talking to yourself in your mind while your mouth was on autopilot.
As your line came to an end, and so did the convention, you were escorted to the private area, separate from the public area.
As you were getting ready to leave, yet another successful event complete, you were frozen when you spotted Gahyeon on her way towards you. You were too star-struck to really function normally, but she exuded confidence. She always seemed to get what she wanted— And she wanted you.
“I’m sorry.” You weren’t sure what exactly you were apologizing for. Gahyeon obviously didn’t understand why you were apologizing.
“Why?”
A question you didn’t know how to answer.
“I don’t know why I said that.”
Gahyeon grinned, holding out her hand for you to shake, formally meeting you. You shook her head gingerly, if not nervously.
‘She’s a normal person like you. Don’t be nervous.’
And to be fair, she’s very gorgeous, and that alone was enough to justify why you felt so nervous and why your heart pounded inside your chest the way it did.
“A lot of people like us together.” Gahyeon held onto your hand far longer than a regular handshake.
“Guess we’re married with two kids, one dog, and three cats?” You felt an annoying amount of awkwardness when you said that out loud, wishing you replied with something else less forward. Instead, you played it off as a joke, and refused to let go of her hand first.
“I guess so.” Gahyeon smiled, taking you by surprise.
You thought back to the influx of commenters shipping you with Gahyeon. It could work, you two jumping into a relationship. You both had massive amounts of support from both of your respective fanbases. You felt she could read your mind when Gahyeon had leaned close enough to whisper in your ear, goosebumps blanketing your skin. You worried she could hear your heart beating as loud as you heard it and somehow ceased any and every thought you had.
“I think I like us together too.”
And she let go of your hand, her eyes meeting yours again, followed by a wink.

RELIEF : jiu x fem!reader
a/n: fluff and a little bit of a tease at the end
-
"minji! you're back early, ive missed you!" minji sitting on the bed already giving you a smile. her hands slid under your shirt, wrapping your waist. her touch was cold but not like you mind, you look foward to seeing her everyday. "you look tired... are you doing alright?"
"im okay dont worry." you can tell when she isnt telling the truth to you, although she is the only who can read minds. she seemed off, her expression was unreadable but you sensed that something was wrong. "do you want to feed from me?"
"huh?"
"do you want to feed from me." you insisted. she feels relieved when she feeds from someone, especially from you. having a genuine look on your face, it seemed out of the blue however you're being serious with her. usually you wouldnt suggest such a thing but her well being was your priority. "are you sure? i dont mess up or anyth-"
"i trust you. i know you wouldnt hurt me on purpose." for someone like you, a human, to trust a vampire would be the last resort other people would choose. its the complete opposite for you though. shes always looking out for you and being overprotective over you, thats all you could ask for no matter if they were human or not.
"thank you really, im sorry but you're all i need right now." her mood lightened up a little. you beckoned her a little closer until her breath fanned against your neck. your bodies now touching closely, breaking any tension.
"hmm but... since you're so nice, ill be nice to you too, in bed."

DREAMCATCHER reaction to their gf being too shy to ask for a kiss
Request: Hello there could I request A Dreamcatcher reaction to their girlfriend wanting a kiss but too shy to ask for one?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jiu: From day one Minji has always been the more forward one. She had always initiated hand holding, hugs and kisses. She can really read you so she almost always knows when she should and shouldn’t but the first time she was able to recognize your behavior when you were too shy to ask for something yourself was a golden day. For example, when you wanted to hold her hand you would pinch the back it lightly and avoid eye contact. But if you wanted a kiss then you would tug on her sleeve and pout a bit in almost a pucker. It always warms her heart to see you wanting her affection even when you’re too shy to say it.
Tumblr media
Sua: The two of you are a comical but sweet pair. You almost always have second hand embarrassment from the unwanted attention she draws to you on almost a daily basis but being with her is so worth it as far as you’re concerned. Bora is always careful with you though, because she doesn’t want you to get too overwhelmed in any situation so she’s much milder when you are around. With that being said she doesn’t get carried away with her PDA even though her love language is physical touch. In public she sticks to basic hand holding or arm looping. In private she’s much more open with her skinship even when you stay shy. It never ceases to amuse her when you won’t ask her for a kiss but try to throw her subtle body language to indicate what you’d like from her.
Tumblr media
Siyeon: Siyeon is always kissing you anyway so you usually don’t have to ask. Because she knows you’re shy about it she mostly gives you cheek and forehead kisses around others but her favorite thing is to peck you on the lips when she hasn’t seen you for a while. Sometimes though, you want to tell her to kiss you but for some reason you can never get the words out. Typically, you wait for her to look your way and pucker your lips at her. Like clockwork she lets out a startled chuckle and gives you a small kiss like you “asked”.
Tumblr media
Handong: Dong knows without much warning. You just tend to slip closer to her side and have this look on your face like you want to say something to her but you won’t. She never really brings it up or asks you about what it is that you’re trying to say. Dongie simply leans over and places a sweet kiss on your lips and returns to doing whatever it is that she was doing, leaving you as red as can be but happy.
Tumblr media
Yoohyeon: You end up having to ask because even though Yoohyeon is clingy with you, she’s also shy herself. Odds are even if she can tell that you want to kiss her she’s more likely to wait for you to ask, blush about it, and hit you softly before finally kissing you and then descending into a whiny mess about how embarrassing that was. In the cases that she’s feeling confident in that moment she’ll repeat the same cycle except she’ll just tease you about it afterwards with a very red face.
Tumblr media
Dami: Yubin is another member that can tell what you mean with little to no words. She’s not one for a lot of skinship but she’s an exceptionally good people reader. From standing just a little closer when she sees you getting nervous to resting a hand on your back when you’re singularly focused on a task so you don’t run into anything. Your habit is staring when you want any kind of affection so she’ll pull you closer, give you a kiss and hold you while she continues about her previous activity.
Tumblr media
Gahyeon: Gahyeon knows the look but depending on how she’s feeling she’ll either give you a kiss or she’ll wait for you to come to her just in case she’s reading you wrong. Especially depending on the environment. If she thinks she’s getting the look while you guys are working, like at a fansign or variety show then she’s definitely ignoring you until you are alone. Or even if she’s just unsure she’ll ignore it until you move closer and have that same look again.

Ghost! Gahyeon - Haunting Me, Haunting You
A/N: Hi guys, girls, and non-binary pearls! This is part one of my Halloween celebration, and I hope you enjoy it! It was supposed to be complete fluff, but I may have accidentally went too far hehe 😉 I guess that I learn from the best, huh?
TW: Heavy themes of death and murder, jokes about death, fluffy until you get to the end, horror themes(?)
Part One ✨️ Masterlist
Tumblr media
You suddenly woke up, and the sharp pain in your skull is enough to make you want to hurl.
What did I drink last night? I’ve never felt like this before… Damn, I must’ve been drinking some hard liquor.
You gag as you try to throw up whatever is making you feel so miserable, but to your surprise, no vomit comes out of your mouth.
What is going on? Usually, I can’t hold my drinks at all… Have I developed some sort of mysterious tolerance to alcohol?
You rise from your sleeping position, and you’re mostly calm until you notice that you’re on the floor.
What am I doing, sleeping on a wood floor? Why would I do something like that? I must’ve really been drunk last night.
You squint as the morning sunlight drifts in from an open window. You sigh before getting up to shut the window.
God, was I really so lazy that I could close the window? Yesterday must’ve been a really rough day for me.
You go to grab the curtain for the window, but you are immediately concerned when your hand goes directly through the material of the curtain.
Okay, I must still be drunk or something because that should not happen!
You attempt to close the curtain with your other hand, but the same thing happens. You sigh deeply before looking down at your hands, and you’re more horrified to find that your hands are now semi-see-through.
I need to see a doctor, or go to the emergency room. I must’ve been slipped something in a drink because this is not normal at all. Let me go check myself out in my mirror.
You turn around, only to make another bad discovery.
Wait a damn minute… this isn’t my room, nor is this my house!
A layer of dust coats the bedroom, except for a few stray footprints. You notice that a suspiciously shaped blanket sits on the bed, and there is most definitely something under the blanket. Your senses aren’t able to detect anything from this far, but given your current track record, you’re not in the mood to learn anything else about where you are or what’s going on.
I just need to find my phone, or at least, someone else.
Your prayers are answered when someone walks through the closed bedroom door.
“Gahyeon!?!” You excitedly say as Gahyeon gasps in surprise.
“Y/N, you’re here!” She says before she immediately starts sobbing. “I-I’m s-so sorry, I co-couldn’t save yo-you.”
Save me? What is she on about? It must be one of her pranks or something like it.
“Gahyeon, what are you talking about?” You walk over to her, and in a lapse in memory, you wrap your arms around her.
To your utmost surprise, you can feel her in your arms as she tightly grips you in response.
I- I can’t be dead, can I? What happened to me?
“Oh, Y/N-ah, you shouldn’t have died! It’s all my fault!” Gahyeon wails before burying her head in your chest.
You cough in order to hide how flustered you are.
“I don’t remember, Gahyeon. What happened?”
Gahyeon pulls away from your chest with tears in her eyes.
“They killed you, in cold blood.” Her tone turns from sad to serious in mere seconds.
“Who are you talking about?”
“Your best friend, Y/N! They pounded your skull in with a croquet mallet until you stopped moving! I had to watch because I couldn’t do anything… screw being dead! This sucks, as you’ll soon realize.”
She angrily exhales before crossing her arms. You chuckle to yourself, and she yelps in surprise.
“You think I’m joking at a time like this?”
“Let’s admit it… you’re kind of cute when you’re angry.”
Gahyeon blushes deeply before laughing at herself.
“I was told that a lot when I was a little girl, actually.”
You place your hands on Gahyeon’s waist before letting a small smile appear on your face.
“We can be together now, until the end of time. I guess this didn’t turn out too bad, huh?”
Gahyeon is dumbfounded by your sudden optimism.
“But… Y/N, don’t you miss living?”
“What is there to miss? Besides, I would’ve died at some point in the future.” You shrug before softly kissing the top of Gahyeon’s head. “I’ve always wanted to do that.”
“Speaking of things that we’ve always wanted to do…” Gahyeon eyes your lips, and you laugh before indulging her in a sweet kiss.
“Was that as good as you imagined it?” You say after you break away from her for air.
“No, Y/N,” She shakes her head with a teasing smile on her face, “it was even better.”
Gahyeon suddenly grabs your hand, and she drags you out of the bedroom.
“Wait, where are you going?”
“Someone’s got to show you how being dead works, and luckily for you, you’ve got an excellent guide with you!” She turns back to wink at you before continuing to drag you around the house that you were both murdered in, but only a few decades from each other.
~
It doesn’t hit Gahyeon that your best friend is the exact same person with the same name until she has to watch them murder you in cold blood. Only then does she recognize that sickening grin - the same one that was present on their face when they murdered her.
The problem is that your best friend should be well into old age, but they have not aged a day since Gahyeon was last alive.
Externally, Gahyeon is grieving you as they finally decide to stop swinging when your body is beyond recognition. They drag you onto the bed, and they throw a mere blanket over your body before leaving to clean up their mess.
The murder weapon is different, Gahyeon notices. She was given a mixture of cleaning supplies that was disguised as a hangover cure. Gahyeon was so hungover that she didn’t notice what she was drinking until it was already too late. A night at her best friend’s house ended in murder, and the worst part was that no one suspected them at all. Your best friend got away with murder because everyone thought Gahyeon was a drunk mess who accidentally ended her own life.
There was something different about them, but Gahyeon thought it had something to do with their endless charms. They weren’t human - that was the conclusion. Gahyeon swore at the house a few times before trying to piece her life back together.
If you had never come over and met Gahyeon, maybe this wouldn’t have happened. Screw the rules of having to stay in the place of your murder until someone living figured out what happened to you. Being a ghost sucked, until she met you.
It didn’t matter, anyways, since the both of you were dead and no one would ever figure it out.
~
Every second we fall to the fire below
It’s so beautiful
The hell that we both made for each other
(But it’s all love and war)
Louder we roar
(Crying for more)
I know it’s wrong, but baby just-

“Ur home, what’d you get?” Your sweet girlfriend Dami came up behind you, walking behind the couch to put her hands on your shoulders and lightly massage them. You couldn’t help but sigh at the feeling, but remembered you had to respond.

Title: Gahyeon kissing you for the first time.
Pairing: Gahyeon x You. [GxG]
Warnings: None besides fluffiness
Words: 1043
Author Note: thank you sweet human for requesting! I feel very honored to know that you really really really liked my latest work with SuA.❣️
You've been dating Gahyeon since almost eight months. Sometimes you couldn't believe that you are dating such a cute innocent pure woman. Who has your whole heart. Even when you join her on a important event or award show she always stares at you with literally heart eyes.
Gahyeon is so in love with you and your whole personality. You think it's adorable when her cheeks flushed red in a blush after you asked for consent to touch her or hug her. Gahyeon found it absolutely adorable when you asked for consent to be physically affectionate with her.
Gahyeon was in the recording booth which you thought is very cute. Since the black headphones are bigger than her. You thought it's absolutely adorable the way she moved while she sang.
You sat down on the couch where her bandmates were sitting and chatting with each other about their upcoming album. Once they noticed you Dami didn't hesitate to involving you into their conversation. Since she promised Gahyeon when you started dating that she would always be there for you when Gahyeon couldn't.
„Are you excited for our upcoming album, Y/N...?" Asked JiU with curiousness in her voice.
All six of them glanced at you waiting for your reply. Handong and Yoohyeon pouted while glancing at you with hope and puppy eyes.
„Yes I am very excited for your upcoming album since you guys always have the best concepts. I can't wait to see the outfits and what your new concept means." Answered you with excitement in your voice. You definitely couldn't wait to see what their new album holds for secrets and meaning of concept.
The six bandmates of Gahyeon couldn't stop smiling when you mentioned your excitement for their upcoming album. You are very precious towards all of them.
„There is our cute humble human Gahyeon...!" Announced Yoohyeon with excitement in her voice.
Gahyeon grins when she walked into the music studio. She didn't hesitate to walk behind you. She wrapped her arms around your stomach from behind. She kissed your cheeks which flushed red in a blush.
„There is my beautiful and intelligent woman. I am so in love with you my baby girl..." whispered Gahyeon in your ear with admiration in her voice.
Your cheeks flushed red in a blush which Gahyeon and her bandmates definitely noticed. JiU nudged the others to give you and their very precious Gahyeon some privacy.
„We will take a break for a while. We will see you later. Enjoy your time together. Use protection." Announcement JiU with amusement in her voice.
„Unnie!!!!" Whined Gahyeon with embarrassment in her voice.
Everyone expect of Gahyeon giggled. You giggled and kissed her red flushed cheeks. She had an embarrassed expression on her face.
„Bye bye unnies see you later." Said Gahyeon with excitement in her voice. She pushed her unnies out of the door before closing the door. She locked the door and had a happy expression on her face.
She grins when she saw you pouting. You couldn't help yourself from missing physical contact with her. Which is longer than holding each other or kissing each other's cheeks.
„I missed you today my girl..." Confessed you with happiness in your voice. Gahyeon walked towards you and wrapped her arms around your waist. You wrapped your arms around her neck.
She didn't know what to say since she only felt like looking at your lips and back at your eyes. She wanted to kiss you passionately for the first time. She only didn't know how to ask you or how to ask if you are alright with the first kiss. You leaned closer and closer until she could feel your breath on her lips. Your breath smelled like peppermint. She could smell your cherry chapstick.
„I have to ask Y/N. Do you allow me to kiss you...?" Asked Gahyeon hesitated with care in her voice.
She had hope in her eyes when she looked at you like you are the only woman in the whole world for her. In that moment you knew that you wanted to kiss her and love her even more than you already do.
„Yes I do babe..." Answered you with desperation in your voice. You felt like you needed to know what her kisses taste like. You needed to feel her lips on yours.
She had a sparkle of happiness in her eyes and you felt her hands trembling when she put them on your cheeks to caressing them with her thumbs. Your cheeks flushed red in a blush just like her cheeks. She kissed your lips when your lips touched hers. You enjoyed the way her lips felt on yours.
You both had red flushed cheeks in a blush with a happily grin when Gahyeon pulled away from the kiss. It caused you to be pouting right away. You immediately missed feeling her lips on yours. She smirked when she saw you pouting. Gahyeon immediately kissed you passionately again since she couldn't take your pouting anymore.
You wrapped your arms around her neck to play with the baby hairs. She gasped when you pulled slightly on the baby hairs on her neck. Which caused you to smirk. You felt very happy around Gahyeon.
Four hours after arrived the rest of Gahyeon's bandmates to finish recording their parts. So that everyone can go home together without needing to wait a long time to finish everything.
Of course they didn't hesitate to be teasing you and Gahyeon most of the time. Which caused your and Gahyeon's cheeks to flush red in a blush. Her bandmates giggled when they saw your reaction.
„Y/N you are like a family for us. We absolutely appreciate you and love you no matter what happens. You and Gahyeon are very adorable together. I am so proud of you both and your relationship together. It's been very glowing." Confessed JiU the leader with happiness and seriousness in her voice.
JiU and SuA pulled you closer to dance with them randomly while Gahyeon, Yoohyeon, Dami and Siyeon sang together bombayah by Blackpink.
You definitely couldn't wait to marry her someday since you already know that she is the one. She is the love of your absolutely life.

Tumblr media
pairing: handong and gahyeon x gn!reader
genre: fluff
word count: 0.8k
warnings: mentions of alcohol
a/n: this was inspired by handong’s recent instagram post, also i did write this in the last hour,,,so it is probably filled to the brim with mistakes sorry :D
Tumblr media
It’s not often you meet your friends. So when you do, it seems unreal.
You lost count of the hours you’ve spent at this bar, underneath the darkening sky and only warmed by candle fire. Having not finished even half the glass of wine, you were already losing focus, although you’d blame the company instead of the alcohol.
That’s not to say the present company was bad.
You couldn’t remember the last time you saw Gahyeon and Handong in person.
Clashes with work and missed opportunities, struggling with large time zones and packed schedules, and mostly the fact that all three of you were scattered across the world. After spending every second with them during your college years, depending on them after every misfortune… it was strange to separate, to go different paths. To go from texting every day to failed attempts at video calls to quick updates every few months.
It was isolating and disheartening.
Yet here you are, in front of them, as if not a single second passed. Able to pick up right where you left off, many years' worth of conversations and secrets and anecdotes came flowing endlessly. It was as if a huge weight had been lifted, you couldn’t stop sharing or listening.
This is why you weren’t sure when you stopped paying attention to Gahyeon’s tale but instead focused on just soaking the pair in. Watching Handong’s little smirks before her gentle sips of wine when Gahyeon has to place her glass down to talk animatedly, eyes wide and gestures expressive. They were slightly turned to each other, all in their own little world.
At the beginning of your friendship, you often found yourself far away from the two, unincluded in a moment such as this. The thought seems so ridiculous now, you had been so naive and insecure because at this moment, all you wanted was to observe them… just exist alongside them.
Body reacting to your thoughts, your hand was already in your pocket, searching for your phone.
Like you’ve done a million times before, you opened the camera, switched off the flash, focused on the pair and caught them mid-conservation. As always, they will be none the wiser. You have so many more moments like these, of the two of them, none of which they are privy to because they’re for you to admire.
You studied the picture on your phone when Gahyeon suddenly asked. “Is everything okay?”
The moment those words were uttered your neck snapped up, worried that something was wrong. Instead, you found both Handong and Gahyeon sharing concerned looks trained on you. Glimpsing at your phone, a smile forms on your lips when you see the candid moment you captured; Gahyeon was grinning widely with her hand covering her mouth, while she shared a glass of red wine with Handong, who wore a similar warm smile.
“Hmm, no, everything is fine—let me take photos!” In an instant, their concern was replaced by exaggerated groans, you chuckled while steadying your phone.
“Do we have to?” Handong whined, although her actions seemed to disagree as she was straightening herself.
Shaking your head, you waited for them to get ready. Or at least, you pretended to.
Double-checking that the flash was turned off, you snapped multiple pictures of the pair, some with them fixing their hair, wine glasses placed on the table before being taken back, most with them deciding on how to pose. Would they complain your ears off if they found out that you took these pictures? Yes, absolutely, but again, these were for you to laugh at.
“Are you guys done?” You asked with a sigh, but still lighthearted.
Handong only rolled her eyes in response as she posed with her wine glass in hand, looking away from the camera, Gahyeon followed her. Then they placed their glasses down, deciding to lay on each other as they stared right at you through your phone screen. Gahyeon seemed like she was pouting while Handong had a soft smile. Even under the starless night sky with only candlelight to illuminate them and the grainy texture of the camera, they still managed to look beautiful.
Just as you were about to lower your phone, the pair shifted again, grabbing their wine glasses and posing as if they were asked for a picture while drinking. Scoffing, you took one last picture before bringing your phone closer to examine the photos.
“Send those to me right away, I want to post them,” Handong demanded before taking a sip of her wine.
“Hey, are we not taking a photo with you in it as well?” Gahyeon asked.
“Nah, my wine glass is in it, that's enough of me.” You said, grinning at the photos as you waited for them to deliver to Handong’s phone.
Gahyeon mumbled something before fishing for her phone, making a clear display of taking photos of you—a better display would be that she was very tipsy.
Pretty soon, the previous dynamic returned, and Gahyeon had begun telling her adventures again. Though this time, she was slightly turned towards you, mostly so you couldn’t catch her by surprise again. Handong had finished her glass of wine and had brought her legs to her chest so she could have her chin on her knees. She was wearing a proud smile, intently listening to Gahyeon while occasionally sharing knowing glances with you.
It could be months or it could be years before another moment like this occurs. You could never really tell what might happen, so you decided to focus on the present. After taking one last look at Gahyeon and Handong’s very first picture of the night, you pocketed your phone and paid your full attention to them.

Monday- sch
I sigh loudly as move my wrist around in circles, sore from all the writing I just finished. Draft after draft, I finally finished the note. I was never good with expressing my feelings, the only way to send the emotions I feel was through writing. I look over the note one last time before carefully folding it and putting it in my backpack where I won’t forget it.
“Hey H,
I’ve been thinking a lot about prom,
It’s all we ever talked about last week.
But I never told you who I wanted to invite,You suggested me all these girlsBut I want you to be my pair.
Will you go with me?
-Yours truly,
     Changbin”
I wasn’t the best note, but it was enough to send the message, and for me to not breakdown and stress over the whole situation completely. After every second past after I finished the note, the anxiety of it not being good enough kept creeping up my back, slowly devouring me. Shaking the feeling off constantly was only stressing me out more. Why was I so anxious of a simple note?
Even I couldn’t answer my own question. The painful dreed of what his reaction will be. More thoughts of rejection than actual acceptance was all I could think of. There was no way he would take it seriously. I place my hands on the edge of my bed, leaning slightly forwards as these thoughts rushed through my head. I never thought how stressful a simple confession like this could be.
The fact people confession face-to-face was even more nerve wracking than a note/letter. Despite my straight-forward ass, I could never gather the courage to confess like that. I blank out all the thoughts racing through my head as my breathing came to a steady state. I slowly walk towards my closet, changing into my simple pajamas and setting out my school uniform on the hard wood floor.
I slid under my gray-blackish covers as I let my back sink into the softness of my mattress. All the stress and tension trapped in my shoulder let loose under the soft surface. I feel my consciousness slowly drift away as tiredness takes over my body. Within a few minutes, I fell into a state of sleeping, with nothing but darkness.
TW// ~~~~~~~
Slowly blinking my eyes, adjusting to the new atmosphere I’m now in. I look around my room. It was still pitch black, assuming I just woke up in the middle of the night, as most people do. As I tried to move and see what time it was, I was stuck. My body was practically glued to the mattress of my bed. No matter how hard I tried to move, I couldn’t. Forcing every muscle in my body to even move an inch, it wasn’t successful.
 I groaned trying again, but my energy was decreasing rapidly. I stopped trying a tried falling asleep again. As I almost dozed of, I hear a faint creaking noise by the door. I open my eyes and look towards the door, but see nothing. I shrug it off as I heard something, but it came again. I looked back again and saw a shiny, gray creature staring at me with soulless, empty bright white eyes. My breathing hitched as I couldn’t do anything about it.
I stared at it with intense eyes, seeing it crawl back out the door it once came from. After the first creature appeared, I hope that would be the only one. After what seemed like a few minutes, I predicted I was safe for the night, until my closet door slammed open. Revealing the same creature as before, except slight differences with the body shape, but overall the same breed of creature. I couldn’t even identify what kind of creature it was, but I could see it had some form of horns on the top of its head.
I breathe in and out shakily as I hoped sooner or later the creature would disappear. After what felt like years, it creeped back into the closet. I shut my eyes tightly, praying I could just fall asleep again without anymore hallucinations. At least I thought they were hallucinations, just my mind playing tricks on me, that’s what I thought. But that’s not what I felt. A loud echo of metal being banged on by something was echoed through my ears. I tried moving my hands up to my ears, to try and prevent the noise from traveling further into my head.
Yet again, my hands didn’t move an inch as tears started to brim my eyes, I wanted it to stop. I needed it to stop. I moved my mouth, trying to scream for help, but my voice was empty. As if someone cut my vocal cords, blocking out all my painful cries and screams. The creature just stared at me with those same glowing white eyes like every other creature. We were having a staring contest, none of us daring to move an inch, not like I could actually move or anything. But the creature stood still as a statue.
In a blink of an eye, the creature leaped onto my stiff body. The pain hit me as I’ve just gotten hit by a bus. Its nails dug deep into my smooth, milky skin as it covered my once clear skin with cuts and bruises, refusing to let go. Blood oozed out of each individual cut as i tried to push the creature off. Nothing worked as blood continued to flow out of my body, around my skin and sink into the white sheets.
Pain flowed throughout my entire body as more pressure was being added towards my body. I couldn’t take it, no more, stop it, please. I begged on the inside the pain would stop, it’s lasted for so long I feel like I’m going to past out. After what seemed like fifty years, it stopped. I opened my wet and teary eyes and shakily breathe out. I didn’t realize I was holding in my breath this whole time. I finally turn my head to look at the time ‘3:27’ it read. I sigh as I tilt my head the opposite direction and pass out within a few seconds.
----------------------------------------------
Monday- hhj
I close my textbook as I just finished my science homework, I stare at my phone, not a single text from Changbin. I sigh and scroll through whatever is happening on social media. He said he would text me some point tonight, but he never did. He’s been acting a lot, different, recently. I can’t tell what it is, but he surely isn’t himself. He’s always so energetic and smiling so brightly, but recently he’s been very, dull. Maybe it’s just me.
I shake off this weird feeling and head downstairs for a quick snack.
“Oi! Jin boy!” I turn around and see my sister jumping off the couch, leaping onto me.
 I groan. How is she so energetic at this hour?
 I push her off of me and grab orange juice from the fridge, “Dude- What the hell?!” She yells at me, quickly slapping my hand over her mouth.
“Shut up! Don’t wake mom and dad up!” I whisper yell before removing my hand.
“Jeez..” She wiped her face off before plopping back on the couch.
I roll my eyes and sit down on the loveseat. “So… anything new with your mullet boy?” I almost choke on my juice before spitting it back into the cup.
 She only looks at me with disgust before smirking again, “So?” I groan before answering, “Why do you want to know so much about him?” She shrugged.
 “Because you talk about him, like- a lot.” I shook my head, “Since when have I talked about him that much?!”
She giggled before resting her head on her hand and leaned closer to me, “I can hear you being all sappy at night.”
I shoo my hand in her face, but she moved back to avoid my hand. That last thing I wanted her to talk about is how I practically gush over my best friend. I can’t help but like him more than my best friend, my heart just yearns for him.
“You’re hallucinating sis.” I try to convince her she doesn’t hear shit.
 “Mmm, nah. Try lying better next time.” She ruffles my hair sassily before walking upstairs.
I lay my head back against the seat and close my eyes. Love, it hurts so much. He’ll never see me as someone he can love. I’ve always had hope for us, not just as friends, but potential lovers. But slowly, this hope has been falling apart. Why, why couldn’t life be like fairy tales? Where the person you love so dearly feels the same. I want my happy ending with someone I love. Why couldn’t I be happier with Changbin?
----------------------------------------------
Tuesday- sch
I woke up with slight pain in my head. I look around and collect all my thoughts and memories of earlier in the night. I try moving my arm to see if I wasn’t paralyzed and thankfully I wasn’t and easily sat up. I looked at my arms and in fact there were dry cuts and dry blood stains over my arms, but when I looked at my sheets, they were clean. Not a single drop of blood was visible.
I blankly stare at my bed. We’re the events of last night fake? Was I just hallucinating? But my arms, the cuts, the bruises, all the evidence was right there, on my arms. I try not to overthink it as I sluggishly roll out of bed and put on my uniform slowly but surely. I look around my room clueless, barely being able to walk as I was so tired. Rubbing my eyes every five seconds, still adjusting to the brightness the sun beamed in.
“Changbin sweetie! Hurry up honey or else you’re going to be late!” My mom yelled up to me, “Don’t forget to take your medicine!” She yelled again.
“Alright mom one second!” I responded before grabbing my backpack and making my way to the bathroom.
Opening the top cabinet and taking my medicine out. Chugging the pills down with water and quickly walked out of the room, running down the stairs loudly. I said a quick ‘bye’ to mom as she waved back before I closed the door and made my way towards school. I didn’t live far, around a ten minute walk to get to school. I didn’t realize I overslept so I had to jog to make it on time.
Once I made it, I went straight to my locker and sat my bag in, grabbing the books I needed for the respected class I had.
“Hey there Bin.” A voice spoke, I looked to my right and saw Minho leaning against the locker next to mine.
 “Hey, how are you?” I asked back, still trying to find my science book, “Good. Have you asked anyone out to the prom yet?” He questioned me.
“Huh.. not yet. Why?” I replied, finally finding my science book.
 I thought I forgot it for a second, Mrs. Son would’ve definitely killed me.
 “Oh– I was going to try my luck with Hyunjin.” My breath hitched at the mention of my best friend, I was going to ask him out.
 “H-Hyunjin..?” I stuttered back, “Yeah. Why? I’m scared she’ll reject me, I’ve seen the way she looks at Yves.”
 I breathed out in relief, he was talking about the female Hyunjin. I got scared for a second.
“I thought you meant Hwang Hyunjin. Like when were you gay?” I laughed it off.
“Well if all plans fail I was going to ask Seungmin next.” This time I choked on my spit.
He looked at me in panic and started hitting my back. I swatted my hand at him, giving it as a sign to stop hitting my back.
“Seungmin?! Doesn’t he hate you?!” Minho just shrugged and shoved his hands into the pocket of his hoodie.
“It’s a love-hate relationship between us. Surprisingly Seungmin’s a big flirt, but I’m bigger.” He winked at me, I just gagged.
He laughed at me before I walked off, not forgetting to flip him off. As I was walking towards my science class, I heard someone call my name,
“Hey Changbin! Come here!” I turned around to see Gahyeon (im so sorry i couldnt think of anyone else, i love gahyeon 😭😭😭) staring at me with death eyes.
 I roll my eyes and walk slightly closer to her. She had her arms crossed with that resting bitch face of hers.
 “What do you want?” I ask in annoyance.
I never liked her as a person, she gave off some creepy and scary aura which didn’t settle well with me.
 “Just wanted to give you a quick warning, you’ve been spending too much time with Hyunjin. You’re always acting weird around him. I want you to stay away from him, you hear me?” She told me off aggressively, and it seemed like someone was wooed over him as well.
 “But-”
“You two aren’t together.”
 That sentence hit me like a boulder.
As if I didn’t already know that we wouldn’t be together. I would just ruin our friendship, and I didn’t want to lose him. Even just having him as a friend is more than enough, but my heart wants more. And I hate myself for that.
 “Do as I say or we’re gonna have problems. Understand?” She pointed at me in disgust.
 I tried playing it off and acted like I didn’t care, but deep down it hurt me more than anything.
“Whatever…” I rolled my eyes and walked to class.
Trying to push away Gahyeons words out of my mind. Her words shouldn’t affect me this much. Why am I getting so tense over this? What if everything she said was true, and I’ve just been to dumb to realize. Have I really spent that much time around him? And always acted differently?
 I tried remembering how I am around Hyunjin when my thoughts get interrupted, by the person I’m thinking about.
 “Oh, Hi Changbin!” He greeted me with a bright smile on his face. I adored that smile.
I smile back, “Should I give him the note now?” I contemplated with myself, “No… not now.. I’ll ask him later.”
“Hey Hyunjin.” I greeted back quietly, “Anyways, I’ve been meaning to thank you!”
 I tilt my head in confusion, “What- why?” I asked curiously.
 Clearly I didn’t have the best memory in the world, Hyunjin giggled softly which only made my blood pump harder, that damn giggle.
“You helped me put all the prom posters around the school!” He jumped a little.
“Oh- I’m glad I could help.” I softly smile at him before the bell rang as Mrs. Son came in. Hyunjin went to his seat as our teacher started the lesson.
TW// ~~~~~~~
I blink my eyes a few times before lifting my head up completely. No, not this place again. I dreaded of what was to come this time. I stayed extra cautious this time and didn’t dare take any chances. Knowing what happened last night, I didn’t want that again.
The pain my arms still held was unbearable, moving my arms alone was already so painful, I couldn’t take it. I hear metal clash against the wall, I look over and see the vent on the ceiling wide open with the same gray, mentally looking creature from the previous night. I stared at it intensely and prayed for it to go away. Soon enough it crawled back into the vent, and was so polite to close it from behind.
I looked forward again to see a new creature standing there. My eyes widened and my breathing hitched once again. It was a woman with a purple-red dress on, head slightly bent down as I could see her messy bun up on the back of her head.
Her face had buttons as eyes, and a sewed up mouth. She wasn’t moving, just staring forwards, as if she had no sense of where she was going.
I didn’t know what to do with her, panicking in the situation, looking left–right–left again–right once more. The cycle repeated for a good few seconds. What was I supposed to do with her? Staring at her wasn’t doing anything, my breathing got heavier as I teared up again. What have I done to deserve this? My life was perfectly normal, nothing major happened nor did I do anything bad, then this happens.
I couldn’t stand the tension between us two, as the gray creatures came out every once and a while. I knew how to get rid of them, but not this lady, she kind of looked like a doll. I tried getting a closer look at her, but by the time I squinted my eyes, she was already on top of me. Shooting my eyes wide open, this pain was worse. Pushing my shoulders down harshly as she kneed my legs down. The pain was oh so much worse than last night. It already felt like it was lasting longer.
Tears streamed down my face, once again, silent sobs. Couldn’t call out for help, or let anyone hear my painful cries as the woman only dug into my skin even deeper. She was ripping me into shreds, I couldn’t take it anymore, not for this whole time. I hated every second as the pain increased every second. I could already feel the cold liquid running down my skin, a mixture of tears and blood. She only stared at me with those dead button eyes.
Her stitched smile growing evilly as I stared at her with pleading eyes. In the worst moment it hit me, she was blind. She would only detect me from the sounds I make, which would be my breathing. I noted that down for next time, but not enough to distract me from the amounts on pain being put onto me. She was practically touching my bones by now.
After struggling for too long, I felt the pressure on my body fade away, as I breathed out in relief. I lie my head down and quickly pass out within seconds. Pain still screaming all over my body. I just hope he wouldn’t notice my sudden weakness after getting up.
~~~~~~~
The bell rings, indicating class is over. I place one of my hands on the desk, and the other on the back of my chair, slowly getting up with a low groan. That simple night is going to affect the rest of my day. I look around to no longer see Hyunjin in the classroom. I tried getting out as quickly as possible to look for him, I was ready to give my note.
Once I rushed out I saw him immediately. Of course I could recognize him from a mile away.
“Hey Hyunjin… I was looking for you.” I said out of breath. He rubbed my back which caused my cheeks to slightly heat up.
 Luckily I was bent over, “What happened?” He asked, concerned, “You see.. prom is coming up.. and I’d like to give you something..” I say still out of breath.
I wipe my cheeks and forehead before looking up at him. I could see the worry in his eyes fade away with a small sparkle. I smiled.
“Oh? What is it?” He asked excitingly, bouncing up and down a little on his feet.
He looked like a small puppy about to get a treat. I wouldn’t call this a treat, but I was too caught up in the moment.
 “You have to promise me one thing though.” I told him nervously, “Hmm? What’s that?” He tilted his head.
God I was going to burst so soon, but I had to hold it in, to stay strong to not ruin our friendship. This note was a life or death situation. Overdramatic much but I didn’t want to lose him. Ever.
“Only read it once you get home, please?” I looked at him with pleading eyes.
“Y-Yea.. of course!” He reassured me as I breathed out.
 “Okay, I’m going to get it, it’s in my locker one sec.” I pause him and jog over to my locker.
I opened my locker nervously and my breath hitched, my bag… it was gone. I looked around in my locker, scrambling through everything in there, which wasn’t much. I panicked badly and looked around to see if anyone had taken it.
I saw Gahyeon talking to some other girl. Siyeon I think her name was, anyways, I walked over to her.
She was the first person I could think of who had my bag, “Gaheyon,” She turned her head towards me, signaling me to continue speaking, “Did you take my bag?” I was pissed off.
 “What- of course not!” She laughed sarcastically at me, “Plus why would I take your bag? And, why are you so stressed over it?” She asked me with a raised brow.
“T-There’s a very important note inside of my bag.” I say without thinking of what would happen.
I began to panic as I saw a flash of betrayal and evilness behind Gahyeons eyes.
 “A note in your bag? I see.. Thanks for telling me! I’ll look out for it.” She smirked at the end as I regret my whole life decisions.
 “Never mind, forget it. There’s nothing important inside my bag.”
 I try to cover up the damage I’ve just caused, but I could tell she wasn’t falling for it.
I slowly creeped back to Hyunjin, hoping he would understand the situation.
 “Well.. I can’t find my backpack..” I trail off, “Awww, I was so excited for the surprise.”
 I saw a pout form on his face as I tried so hard to not kiss him right then and there.
 “But we should seriously find your bag, weren’t your meds in there?” I nodded, “Let’s check the classroom.”
He grabbed my wrist but I yanked it back, “You know what, I think it’s better off if you don’t see it, plus I have more meds at home.”
I saw sadness fill in Hyunjins' eyes. I quickly reacted and hugged him as he took no time to respond.” I’m not ready to tell him the truth.”
Tuesday- hhj
I slowly open my eyes, realizing I fell asleep on the loveseat. I get up with a loud groan, my back is going to hurt all day. My sister had already left for school, and both my parents were off at work. I was always the last one to leave the house. Usually, I could talk with my mom for a few minutes before she left, but recently she’s been going in early. I tell her to not overwork herself, but once she gets home around 10-11pm, she’s pasted out on the bed.
I sigh and look at the time. I was surprised how much time I had before school started. I cooked a simple dinner for my mom and dad since they didn’t eat much once they got home. I write on a small sticky note and place it on the counter where they can see it. Running upstairs to change quickly and grab my backpack and rush out the door.
I walk to school with a big smile on my face, but it slightly drops when I see Changbin talking to Minho. They seemed engaged in the conversation, but that’s not why my smile dropped. Changbin seems, weaker. Like his body will collapse any moment seeing the way he’s relying on the locker to give him support. I was about to approach him but an arm quickly swung around my shoulder. I glace to the side and see Seungmin smiling at me.
“Hey Hyung!” He said in his high-pitched voice.
“Hey Seung! What’s up?” He shrugged as we walked to our lockers, “Not much. By the way, are you going to ask anyone to the prom?” My eyes widen.
I knew I was missing something! I shook my head as a ‘no’, putting in the code for my locker.
“What if Changbin Hyung asked you out?” He wiggled his eyebrows.
I dryly chuckled, “He wouldn’t ask me. He would only ask me to hangout with him in the corner like we do every prom.”
 Seungmin nudged me with his elbow, “You never know, he’s not the best with showing emotions. He’d probably ask you by giving a note. Cliché but effective.”
I chuckled, grabbing my book out of my locker. “What?! It’s true! I don’t know as much about him than you do, but that really seems like a Changbin thing to do.”
I nodded. I didn’t put much thought into it. I saw Changbin as something more, but did he? I tried ignoring these thoughts running through my head by asking Seungmin about prom.
“Are you going to ask anyone out?” He shrugged, “There isn’t anyone I’m interested in at the moment.”
Why could I feel like he was lying? “Are you sure?” I question him. He nodded shyly while looking in a different direction.
I peak over to see what he’s looking at, more like who he’s looking at. I smirk knowing who he’s now eyeing. I poke his nose and he quickly whipped his head around, scrunching up his nose.
 I chuckle at his action, “It seems you have eyes for Mr. Lee over there.” I point at Minho as I saw his cheeks heat up.
“N-No.” He stuttered, hitting my arm.
I laughed loudly seeing him all flustered for Minho. Never thought the two who constantly nag each other would having a liking for one another. Class was about to start in ten minutes as I bid goodbye to Seungmin as we went our separate ways. While walking to class, Gahyeon stopped me by grabbing onto my wrist tightly.
I roll my eyes, “What the hell do you want?” I state aggressively.
She shrugged innocently, “Has anyone asked you out to prom yet?” I roll my eyes again and shook my head.
“And what do you want to do with that information?” She giggled evilly, “Well maybe we could go together.”
She bit her lip, looking me up and down, “I’m surprised you had the audacity to ask that.” I chuckle at her before yanking my wrist back and walk to class. I could just hear her sulking behind me.
I walk into class and see Changbin who looks dozed off. I smile widely just seeing him as I approached him.
“Oh! Hi Changbin!” I say happily. He looks at me and smiles slightly.
I could see stars twinkle in his dark eyes which only makes me smile even bigger if it was possible.
“Hey Hyunjin.” He greeted be quietly. His voice seemed a little off today, but maybe he didn’t sleep well last night. I certainly didn’t sleep good last night.
“Anyways, I’ve been meaning to thank you!” He tilted his head in confusion.
He looked like a lost puppy waiting for answers. I could feel heat rise to my cheeks but tried not to think too much of it.
 “What- why?” I giggled at his confusion, my poor heart couldn’t take all his cuteness right now. Even if he looked like he just woke up not even five minutes ago.
 “You helped me put all the prom posters around the school!” I jumped slightly with excitement, “Oh- I’m glad I could help.”
He smiled at me which only made me more flustered than I already am. Mrs. Hwang came in as the bell rang. I quickly run to my seat not wanting to get into trouble.
About twenty minutes into the lesson, I glance behind me and see Changbin passed out, slight drool coming out of his mouth. I look at Mrs. Son and see she’s helping another student. I quickly grab a tissue and wipe the drool off of his face and arm. He flinched slightly but quickly fell back into his original position. Oh how I wish I knew what was going on. I want to help you, but you stay silent. I’ll try and help you. I promise.
~~~~~~~
Once the bell rang indicating the first class was over, I rushed out the door, not even thinking about waking Changbin up. Minho tapped my shoulder asking about Seungmin. I smirk and tell him the information he asked for.
 Soon enough Changbin came up behind me panting, “Hey Hyunjin… I’ve been looking for you.”
I rub his back to try and calm him down, “What happened?” I asked with concerned.
“You see… prom is coming up… and I’d like to give you something..” My heart starts to beat faster than ever.
Was he going to ask me out? I started to get nervous but excited. I tried to not act too excited over it, but of course my words came out how I felt on the inside.
 “Oh? What is it?” I bounced slightly. Read it? I got slightly confused, but then my heart beats faster if it even can. Was he going to confess to me like that? I hoped so because that would be so cute! I just really hoped it was–
A note.

Wednesday- sch TW//~~~~~~~~
My eyes itch as the darkness swallows the room I’m in. I lay my head down on the pillow and sigh deeply. The same room again. Sure, I’ve had this happen two–three times a month, but it’s been getting worse. Each day it happens, and each day I feel weaker. I can’t focus in class, my head is spinning constantly, I can barely walk or make any movement. I just want this to stop. I want it to end. But I know I can’t ask for it.
I’m practically used to this room as every times this has happened, it was always this same room. But recently the creatures have been, different. They jump at me, attack me, like I feel nothing, when I feel everything.  Already seeing the silver creature by the closet, I wasted no time to stare it down. Those creatures were the easiest, thankfully. I saw the doll-like woman standing in the same spot as yesterday. I took a deep but quiet breath and held my breath, hoping she would go away.
I blinked and she was gone. I puffed out harshly but quickly retrieved it as I saw a new creature lurking around me. Do I make eye contact? They just keep on following me, but I keep looking away. Is this right? I make slight eye contact to what looked like a puppet. Striped black and white legs and arms. Very simple white but terrifying mask for the face, and the torso is black. The rain hit hard against the window pane as I stayed in eye contact with the puppet.
After a few seconds it slowly crawled towards me, I panicked and quick shot my head towards the window, watching the rain fall. I heard my rustling to the side of where the puppet was, soon enough, I felt pressure on me. It wasn’t painful, but it was enough for me to silently groan. My face was twisted and tensed up as the puppet just sat on me. It put its hands on my wrist and knees on my shins, I looked in confusion of what was happening. Slowly but surely I felt my arms being stretched out, my eyes widened as the puppets eyes were soulless and a deep shade of red.
I gulped and finally felt the pain of my skin being stretched. It pulled my arms out further and further, my breathing became unsteady. The puppet put pressure on my shins with its knees, digging deeper and deeper in my skin. I could practically feel the puppets knee touch against my bones as marks began to appear on my shins and wrist. I heard a slight rip noise and when I looked down, my shirt was completely ruined. The puppet smiled at me evilly before biting my chest harshly.
Not in the horny, kinky kind of way, but aggressive as if it wanted to eat my heart out. I screamed in silent pain as I saw blood ooze out of my chest, around my heart. Please, please just get off. It–It hurt all too much. I, I was done. I can’t escape. I’m–I’m dead–
~~~~~~~
I walked into school with pain screaming all over my body. Despite it almost being summer, I had to wear long pants and shirt for people not to question the amount of bruises and cuts layered on my arm and legs. No one needed to see the dry blood stains. Everyone just turned their heads towards me once I walked through the door. I stare in confusion, but brush it off until someone calls me.
 “Oh! Look who it is!” Gahyeon said loudly, so her voice could project and get everyone's attention.
“Guess what? I found your bag with the paper you were looking for…” I could feel my heart stop beating for a second, trying to regain myself from the sudden confession.
“I know you like spending time with Hyunjin. But I wasn’t expecting… that..” She made it seem the note was so bad. There was nothing wrong with me asking out my best friend. Or was mom lying to me, saying love isn’t love. And that it’s boy and girl, and boy and girl only.
“You’re lucky he didn’t come to school today or he would’ve known what you really are..” He would’ve known who I really am.
The boy who fell in love with his best friend, the same gender as him. That’s who I really am, nothing but a menace to society.
Gahyeon was right, I should’ve stayed away from him and not get attached so quickly. I’m so useless, pathetic, every negative word out there, I am.
I’ve fallen for such a foolish trap, I couldn’t back out now. I’ve dug myself so deep I can’t escape, I’m trapped. My hands gripping onto the straps on the backpack even tighter. The physical pain was unbearable, it hurt to stand up, or even move a muscle. My mental pain wasn’t too bad, but those words shut me down.
 My head pounding with immaculate pain, I had to leave, run. My whole body overwhelmed with pain, I felt as I could pass out any moment.
I quickly turn around and ran for the front door I had come from not too long ago. A trail of laughs leave behind me as I could only hold myself up for so long. I panted loudly as I scrambled through my hoodie pocket searching for my phone. Quickly scrolling through my contacts until it landed on my mom. Not hesitating for a second to tap the ‘call’ button, push my phone against my ear. After a few rings mom picked up.
“Hey honey. Aren’t you supposed to be at school?” She questioned me, “Y-Yeah, bu-but I don’t feel so good..” I wasn’t lying, I feel so weak, barely holding myself up.
“Did you take your medicine before you left for school.” I shook my head, realizing she couldn’t see me, “No.. I think I forgot…”
A sigh came from the other end of the call, “I’ll come bring them to you-” But I quickly stopped her, “C-Can I just go home p-please?” I stuttered out.
I was desperate to get home, being here any longer would kill me inside.
My mom clearly heard the pain in my voice, “Sure honey, I’ll be there in ten to pick you up.”
 I smiled as I thanked her. Both of sharing a quick ‘I love you’ to one another before hanging up. I leaned against a tree, waiting for mom to pick me up. Hopefully I can rest and clear up my mind, today was already stressful. I see my moms car pull up and jump in the front. Please just let survive another day.
Wednesday- hhj
I wake up to the sun shining brightly in my eyes. I groan and cover my face with my blanket, wanting to go back to sleep. I reach over to my bed-side table to grab my phone, I groan at the sudden light my phone screen gave off, quickly widening my eyes as I saw the time ‘9:24’. Shit, I’m so fucking late, why didn’t anyone wake me up?!
I jumped out of my bed and rushed over to my closet. My head was pounding with pain as my whole body was sore from head to toe. I clutch onto the doorframe, trying to hold myself up. My stomach swirling with uneasiness as I breathe slowly.
 “Honey, you shouldn’t be up like that.” I flinch upon hearing my mom, I whip my head around and see hear holding a plate.
“W-What-”
“Right before I was going to go to work, I checked up on you. Your alarm already went off and I could see how hot your cheeks looked. You have a fever, love.”
A wave of heat hit my body like someone threw boiling water onto me. My mom could see my pain and placed the plate down carefully and helped me towards my bed.
“You’re going to be staying home for a few days until you get better.” I nodded, but quickly panicked.
“W-Will I be okay before prom?!” I asked with concern as mom only chuckled.
“Prom isn’t until next Friday, you’ll have plenty of time to recover.” She place the blanket over be carefully, “But for now, you need to rest honey.”
She handed me the plate with my breakfast on it, kissing the top of my head.
“I’ll be checking up on you often. Let me know if you need anything.”
“B-But what about your work?” I questioned, “I called in telling them you were sick, they understand. Don’t worry honey.” She chuckled.
I sigh in relief. Even if my parents still were extremely busy with work, they always make sure me and Chaeryeong are okay. I smile at her, thanking her for the food as she left my room. I hope Changbin was okay, hopefully he doesn’t worry too much about me. I usually worry about him.
I still can’t shake off the weird feeling that he’s not okay. There has to be something going on that I don’t know about. I feel so guilty for not knowing what it is. I know he has medication for his sleeping, but it seems more than just his sleeping. Maybe something is happening while he’s sleeping. I grab my phone and google some possible answers. I always sleep perfectly fine, but Changbin always had struggles with it.
When we were little, whenever we had sleepovers, I was the first to fall asleep. Every time he would always wake me up asking if we could cuddle, and of course I couldn’t refuse. And every morning we woke up, he would always thank me with sparkles in his eyes. The little glistening in his eyes are adorable, I never want to see them disappear. But recently they’ve slowly been fading, my heart aches thinking about it.
He’s one to not show emotion often or talk about what’s happening or what’s wrong. He struggles with opening up. I always encourage him, telling him I would see him any different. Well now I do, but it’s not necessarily bad–right? I can love my best friend, but what if he doesn’t? Is it wrong to love him? Not platonically, but genuinely? Is it really okay?
I’ve never come to terms with my sexuality fully. Sometimes I manipulate myself into thinking I’m attracted to girls and girls only. But every time I see Changbin, my heart does a three-sixty. At first he seems like a rude and careless person, but he’s just the cutest little fluff ball I’ve ever met. I just– feel so hopelessly in love. It hurts. I look at my phone again as my eyes widen.
Sleep Paralysis demons?!
----------------------------------------------
Thursday- sch TW//~~~~~~~
Why, just why? Can’t I just leave this place? I’m sick of it here. I only feel more pain here, it’s like a living hell here. Looking around, already seeing the blood-thirsty creatures lurking over me. I get rid of them one at a time, hoping I would actually be okay for one night. Why has this suddenly happened so often? I just–don’t understand. I haven’t done anything wrong.
My body stiffens up when the demon from the beginning of this week jumps onto me. As the pain rises and rushed through my body, I realized I deserved this. I know why I was here. I knew I shouldn’t have done that, but my stupid emotions couldn’t handle it. If I wasn’t so stupid and oblivious none of this would’ve happened.
I didn’t even try tensing up to stop the pain, I let my body relax and let the blood rush out of my body faster than ever. I screamed silently as more and more demons pilled onto of me, so much adrenaline rushing through my body as I couldn’t think properly. Cuts and bruises now scattered over my once spotless skin.
I felt so weak, so tired. So–so, dead. I couldn’t breathe. As if my lungs have been ripped out of my chest and thrown away like a useless piece of paper. Shredding me into pieces like I was nothing. I am nothing. I deserve this. All of this. All these cuts, all these bruises, all had a reason to show up. This is what happens when I fall in love with my best friend.
~~~~~~~
My phone buzzed, I thought it was Hyunjin. But my smile faded when I looked at who it was.
Gahyeon: Changbin?
Are you there?
I don’t want to respond, but she’ll come and eat me alive. I swear.
Changbin: Yes.. What do you want?
Why are you talking to me?
Gahyeon: Well…
Don’t you want your..Letter?
Of course I wanted my letter back. It was the only way I could confess what I’ve been hiding for years to the person I love. I needed it back. It was my only hope.
Gahyeon: Hyunjin hasn’t seen it yet
I breathed out shakily. Feeling somewhat relief that he hasn’t seen the note yet. My chest tightens with each breath. I could pass out any minute, but I had to stay strong. Stay strong for Hyun– No. It’s a punishment, I can’t love him, I just can’t.
It’s wrong, it’s disgusting. I’m a horror to society, no one should see the day of light of me again. But the world refuses. It’s like– the world still wants me here. Pushing me towards Hyunjin, like we’re two magnets slowly being pulled together. It’s like– the world knew we would end up like this.
I smile. Maybe, maybe it isn’t bad to love him. We all have reasons to fall in love with someone. It feels like he saved me in some way, but I feel too weak, too vulnerable about everything. But, I can stay strong.
Stay strong for Hyunjin.
I forgot about my phone as I felt a buzz and looked down.
Gahyeon: I didn’t show it to him He wasn’t at school
Changbin: What do you want?
Gahyeon: Meet me at the school At 10pm, tomorrow, alone
I’ll leave the back door open
Changbin: What- Okay….
I shrugged and didn’t think much about it. Thinking of the best way to sneak out tomorrow, the window was my best bet. I was trying so hard for a simple note, I could’ve simply wrote it again, but I didn’t want to. It’s like the new note wouldn’t have the emotions I’ve been hiding. It was all poured into the one note I wrote on Monday. I wanted it back so badly. I needed it.
----------------------------------------------
Thursday- hhj
I look outside my window, watching the stars twinkle under the dark sky. Stars– I don’t know what about stars I find so interesting. They’re just, beautiful. I lay my head on my arms which are against the window sill. I wonder what Changbin is doing. Is he doing okay? I bet he’s stressing over his music again.
I giggle at the thought of him sulking. But his voice is really nice and soothing, when he sings at least. His voice is very powerful and aggressive when rapping, the duality is insane.
I want him to cuddle me. I don’t know where that thought came from, but his arms feeling weirdly safe. It’s not weird it’s comforting. I know I’m still sick, but I grabbed my phone and dialed his number.
“Hey Hyunjin, you okay?” He ask me with a drained voice.
It was currently ‘11:52’ at night and I somehow couldn’t sleep tonight, “I-I can’t sleep..” I mentally slap myself for stuttering, “Do you need me to sing for you again?”
He chuckled softly as heat rises to my cheek, “A-Actually, I was wondering if you wanted to come over here and– c-cuddle?” I asked in a small voice.
He chuckled again which only made me more embarrassed than I was. “Through the window again?”
“Yeah.” I press my lips together, “Alright, I’ll come now.”
I let out a little gasp and smile, “Yay! Thank you Binnie!” I heard some rustling from the other end, “Anytime Jinnie. See you in a few minutes.” And with that he hung up.
Soon enough, a light knock came from my window. I rush over and open the window, helping Changbin in.
“Hey Hyunjin, you feeling okay?” I nodded as I closed the window, “I’m okay.” I lied, I don’t feel the best, still having a small fever, but I didn’t want to ruin the moment.
As he’s taking off his jacket, I crawl on the floor and grab onto his waist, hugging it. I hear him chuckle before he slowly lifted my head up, making me now look at him. He cupped my cheeks and slowly rubbed his thumb against my smooth skin.
I lean into the comfort of his hands, slowly closing my eyes. “Let’s go cuddle now, shall we? It’s why I’m here after all.”
I giggled and lean away from his grip. Pulling up the blanket on my shoulders, covering my whole body except my face. I could see sweat forming on Changbins face, he looked really uncomfortable with that big sweater on.
“You wanna take your sweater o-off?” Damn it, I stuttered again.
He shrugged, wiping the sweat away on his forehead.
“Do you mind? I-I have a few scars and cuts- it’s not what you think!!” He panicked at the end, which also calmed me down.
I even started to tear up, hoping he wouldn’t notice. Unfortunately he noticed and crouched down to my level. Cupping my face and wiping my eyes with his thumbs softly. My cheeks heat up which I’m sure he notices.
He chuckled and ruffled my hair, “I’m not going anywhere, I promise.”
I hugged him tightly, not wanting to let go of him, ever. I don’t know what came upon me, but I slowly tugged on his sweater, for some reason wanting it off. (this isnt going anywhere sexual, shut up you horny mfs) He chuckled and slightly smirked, “If you let go of me, then it can come off.” I blushed madly and push away, burying my head into the blanket. I heard him chuckle as I looked the opposite direction, making my way towards my bed.
After a few seconds, the other side of the bed slightly sunk down and arms wrapped around my waist. I blush and hide my face in my blanket again. His hands creep around to my stomach, slipping his hand under the blanket and touching my bare skin. The sudden contact with his cold hand against my stomach made me freeze up. He pulled me closer, feeling his bare chest against my covered back (the blanket).
Soon enough he moved his fingers and began tickling me.
I laughed loudly as I tried pushing him off, “S-Stop..!!” He just continued, both of us having wide smiles on our faces.
After what felt like forever, he finally let go as I regained my breath. He turned me around carefully as I was met with his chest. I gulped and tried looking up at his face, but my head wouldn’t move.
“My face is upwards, pretty boy.”
Did I mention he was a big flirt?
 I blushed and shoved my face into his chest.
“S-Stop it!” I slapped his stomach as he only chuckled, wrapping , his hands around my waist once again.
 I leaned against his well-built body, snuggling closer to him if it was possible. Changbin played with my hair, making little patterns, scratching my scalp every few seconds, which felt really nice. I leaned in closer to his hand as my eyes started getting tired. Soon enough I feel asleep within the comfort of, home.
I didn’t realize he gave me a small peck on the top of my head.
----------------------------------------------
Friday- sch
I entered from the back door, it was surprisingly unlocked like Gahyeon said. I carefully looked around the dark and empty school. It was weird seeing it like this, no kids, no chatter, but dark and mysterious.
I walked towards the main hall and called out for Gahyeon, “Gahyeon! Where are you?!”
Silence.
I sigh and decided to look around.
“I’m here like you told me to!” Yet again, no response.
 I walked towards the science class room which was Mrs. Sons’ room. I looked around but nothing. I walked in, squinted my eyes as it was much darker than I expected. I tried to pull my phone out but it was only at 5%. My battery would drain in three seconds if I thought about turning on the flashlight.
I suddenly flinch at the loud bang noise from behind me. I see the classroom door slammed shut. Without thinking I ran towards the door and tried opening it.
“HEY!!” I yelled out, “GAHYEON!! OPEN THE DOOR!” I tried twisting the doorknob and pulling the door open, but nothing worked.
 “Hey Changbinnie~” She said evilly. She hasn’t called me that in years, only when we were closer as children.
She changed so much, I hate this. I want to hate her, but I can’t. She was all I had, and yet she betrays me.
“I told you to stay away from him! You know Hyunjin right? Did you really think you had a chance with him?”
 A tear slowly slipped from my eye but quickly wiped it away. It wasn’t like anyone could see me crying right now.
“You’re going to be locked here for some time, this should get you fixed.” She laughed evilly at the end.
She knew about my sleep paralysis demons, she knew I got weaker each time it occurred. She set this up for a reason. I hate how I can still trust her, after everything she’s done, I still can’t leave her. The sister I once had was gone.
 “THIS ISN’T FUNNY!! OPEN THE DOOR!!” I yelled, knowing it would be useless, yet I still tried.
My legs eventually gave up on me and I collapsed on the floor, gripping onto the doorknob for some kind of support. I tried pulling myself up but my legs refused. I sighed as tears threatened to fall from my eyes, soon enough I broke down. I can’t take this anymore. It’s all too much. Someone help, please.
TW//~~~~~~~
I wake up, it’s dark, musty and gray all around the room. Wait–this- this is my classroom. I passed out, but I didn’t–my head hurts. Am I alive? I can hear my breathing very faintly. I hear something move, I look over and see the bookshelf had slightly moved. Looking down a little I can see a demon staring at me. Hungry and ready to eat me alive.
It jumped on me, but only sat there for a few seconds, then just–left. The doll appeared in front of me. I had to hold my breath to get rid of her, but I felt like I could suffocate if I didn’t. I decided to roll the dice and hold my breath for only a few seconds, luckily it worked and heavily breathed out.
One after another demons jumped onto me and just ran away. Each one was more and more pain added to my body. I don’t know how much longer I could hold on for. It was all too much for me, but I had to stay strong. I got this. I can do this. Just hold on for a few more minutes. You got this. I got this–
Shit. The puppet. It’s on me now, ripping me apart. From my skin, to the muscles and bones. Everything. I–I couldn’t take this anymore, I couldn’t. I tried, I tried so hard. Tears slipped from my eyes for the last time. I’m sorry. I’m sorry Hyunjin.
I’m sorry Hyunjin, that I couldn’t love you like I wanted to.
~~~~~~~
“Hello?!” Mrs. Son yelled out in the hallway, “Is anyone there?!”
 The school had got an alert that someone had entered the school after school hours. Mrs. Son decided to investigate but couldn’t find anything. She walked to her classroom and tried opening the door. Like most teachers, they would lock their doors before leaving the building for the day, but Mrs. Son always left it unlocked.
So seeing her door locked definitely meant someone was in her classroom. Fiddling with her keys for a few seconds before opening her door. She looked around the desk, under the desk, by the bookshelves, everywhere. Right when she was about to leave, she could see a piece of hair sticking out from underneath her desk. Quickly rushing over and gasping at the sight.
“Changbin!!” He was unconscious on the ground.
His face pale like snow, his arms were the complete opposite. You could see all the old and new scars that have been created over the years.
“A-Are you okay?!” She stuttered, hoping to get some sort of response.
She tried again, “What happened, why were you locked?!” Again, nothing.
She tried one last time, “C-Can you hear me?” After a few seconds still dead silence. She quickly panicked and whipped her phone out.
“Hold on! I’m going to get help!”
Friday- hhj
I felt so bad for leaving Changbin at school the last two days. I didn’t give him a warning or any notice I was gone. I sluggishly get out of bed and make my way to the bathroom to wash up. I’ve been feeling so icky the past few days, it feels terrible. While in the shower, I think about prom. I’ve never been interested in going with a date, but imagining it with Changbin as my date feels amazing to even think about. I still have this spark of hope in my chest that he would ask me out.
Prom was in a week though, so not much time for either of us. Nonetheless I still have an outfit prepared, whether I was going with a date or not. I step out the shower I’ve been in for too long and put on a new pair of pajamas. I walked to my bed and jump right on it, wanting to sleep some more. A creaking noise comes from my door, I look up slightly and see my mom carrying a tray of food.
“Morning sweetie. You feeling better?” I slightly nod and stretch my hands out indicating I want the food.
She giggled and handed me the tray with the food. I smiled at her and dug into the food.
“I also got something from you,” I blink with curious eyes, watching her every move.
“From your classmate, I believe. That’s what she said anyways,” ‘She’. It was a girl. Hoping it wasn’t a confession note because man I got so many of those each year it’s actually annoying at this rate.
“What is it?” I tried to sound interested.
 “It’s a note. She told me to give it to you, and don’t open it with anyone around.” I nodded slowly.
“Do you know her name?” Mom shook her head, “She didn’t tell me unfortunately, but she did have ling bright pink hair if that helps with anything.” And there we go, the one and only Gahyeon gave me the note.
 I didn’t even want to read it at this rate.
My mom could clearly see through me, “Hey, I can see you don’t like this already, but just read it. It might be more than you think.” She pats my back before getting off the bed and leaving my room. Softly closing the door behind her.
I stared at the note, I would probably just throw away the note in the end. Wouldn’t hurt to read it. I slowly open it and read the first line,
“Hey H,
I’ve been thinking a lot about prom,
It’s all we ever talked about last week.”
My breathing hitched, this handwriting– it all looks so familiar. I could feel my heart beating faster and faster, now feeling more eager to read the rest of the note.
“But I never told you who I wanted to invite,You suggested me all these girlsBut I want you to be my pair.”
Please, please let this be what I hoped for so long.
“Will you go with me?
-Yours truly,
     Changbin”
I could feel my chest rise up and my breathing stopped. This– this was all true. I squealed like a five year old girl and jumped on my bed excitingly. My mom soon enough came in and chuckled. I quickly scurry under my blanket, hiding from embarrassment.
“So, what was written in the note?” She crossed her arms against her chest as she leaned on the doorframe.
“It was from C-Changbin..” I whisper his name, “Speak louder, who?”
 I groan, “C-Changbin..”
“Who?” I groan even louder and rip the blanket off my face,
 “Changbin asked me out to prom!!”
She looked at me with wide eyes. “Really now? Did you accept it?” I nodded excitingly, “I just have to text him that I said yes! I’m so excited!”
She chuckled, “Go get him kid.” I smiled widely, maybe life was about to turn around.
“Unnie, do you love me?” There’s just something that has always been both a blessing and a curse for me. People seem to think I am just a dumb pretty face who is unaware of anything around her—even my members always treat me like I'm a child.
However, the truth is, I know…
I observe and I always watch.
I know.
I just don't talk.
“Gahyeonie, of course, I love you.” She smiled caringly as she continued to wipe that iniquitous body of hers that I’m so jealous of—slender, sexy, toned, and petite so unlike my curvy voluptuous body. Well, despite my jealousy of her body and other things, I’m glad to have her, she loves me so genuinely like her own sister.
I love her too.
But I know…
She’s jealous of me too, and makes me so happy.
“Do you love him too?” She smiled again, but this time it was almost too bittersweetly. Bora-unnie opened her mouth and she didn't speak for a moment.
“Of course, I love him.” I know you. That was your true feelings, wasn't it?
“Every member loves him. He’s cute and he takes good care of you. There's no way we wouldn't love him.” That was true. She didn't lie, but it was far from her truth.
Nonetheless, I just tucked myself in the sheets and pretended to sleep. I just didn't know what to say to her or you so I held back. It wasn't before I felt her warm body beside me. It was Bora-unnie.
She's always been good to me. She always took good care of me. What's mine could have been hers, but she didn't take it. She gave you to me.
I always knew.
I saw it.
That spark in your eyes the first time you met her. Time must have slowed for you during those five seconds.
The way you listened intently to my stories, but you always had ears for things about her. You were always curious, but you never asked.
The way you glance over her reaction whenever they teased us of being lovers before.
The way she had always greeted you first. And was always there watching over us two.
You two always had an eye for each other.
It always felt like she wanted you.
And when you asked her about love.
When you said “I love you” to her.
I knew.
“Can’t fall asleep?” I heard Bora-unnie say. I thought it was for me, but then…
“Noona, what will happen from now on?” You answered her from my left side. I only noticed your presence then, maybe from all the thinking.
“I honestly don’t know,” Bora-unnie said as I felt her warm embrace engulf me, “she didn’t say it but I think she knows, but I’m too scared to ask.”
And I’m too scared to tell you two. Why didn’t I just wish the two of you to live happily? Why must you two hurt because of me?
“I’m happy and grateful for her tonight so I decided not to be greedy from now on. Tonight might happen again or not ever again but either way, I’m fine with it,” she continued as her hug tightened.
I’m the one who should be sorry for ruining something beautiful between the two of you. I’m sorry for being selfish, but I’m sorry because I don’t regret it.
“Whether she might decide to keep this sexual thing going or decide to acknowledge my feelings for you and let me share your relationship with the three of us or just bury it, I will not complain and do something.” I already did acknowledge it Bora-unnie, but the moment you surrendered him to me, that was when you already lost.
“After all, I already gave you up to her ever since that day, and it’s a decision I don’t wanna take back and regret,” she said lastly. The pain was apparent in her tone. Her hands that hugged me were shaking. You sighed, you were quiet, you were just listening, and I wish you had expressed your thoughts more, but as usual, you were reserved.
“So that’s it?” You said with a tone of acceptance and defeat.
“That’s it,” She agreed before breaking her hug and turning her back to drift to sleep.
I opened my eyes, only to be met by your sleeping face.
The face of the man that I love.
The man who I wish loved me as much I love him, but sadly I’m not confident.
What a player. It feels conflicting. I don’t plan on giving you up, but I’m not sure what these emotions are or what should I feel. You never cheated on me with her. You never did anything to compromise this relationship. You worked so hard to show your love for me, but whenever Bora-unnie is here, it always feels like you are chained to her, and she only pulls once, then you’ll leave me. I’m always at the mercy of her pity for me. Your words earlier still linger in my ear.  I trust you and your words.
“I loved you but I love Gahyeon.”
“Thank you, but please wait for me… at least until I can make a decision”
That's what I said but then again,
I knew…
I would still choose you even if you don't.
And I wish,
You would choose me too.
The next day after that night was anticlimactic. It was awkward eating breakfast that morning. Everyone was quiet while eating the hotel room service food. It was a simple breakfast of toast, honey, butter, bacon, eggs, and coffee.
“This breakfast reminds me of Europe, we would eat this every day and I kinda missed the usual Korean breakfast after a while,” Gahyeon reminisced and you followed the conversation by asking about things about their tour while SuA stayed quiet, just listening to the two of you until breakfast was over. Gahyeon was weird today. She wasn’t doing that thing while she ate.
SuA excused herself, saying that she had an appointment and left you two alone.
“I’ll go now, Kids. Take care you two.” SuA said before she left. SuA looked rather down, she wasn’t being her usual mature and mischievous self. It felt like she had a problem she couldn’t share.
“Worried?” She asked you.
It became even more awkward when you and Gahyeon were left alone inside the room. No one dared to talk about what happened last night. It felt like there was a wall between the two of you and Gahyeon had a lump inside her throat that she couldn’t get out. She tried to smile but they were bittersweet. You wanted to say something to help her but there was nothing, as you were painfully aware of the fact that you were the reason.
“About what?” You answered back but you knew it was about SuA leaving so abruptly.
“I have no things to worry about.” You added as you smiled awkwardly.
Gahyeon stayed quiet after that and sat right beside you before locking hands with yours as she leaned onto your shoulders. She was clingy, refusing to let off your hand. It was comforting and reassuring, but it might be even a call for help from her.
“Do you wanna stay like this all day?” You opted to stay with her.
 “No, I should visit my mom and dad. I haven’t seen them for so long,” She said and asked you to drive to her parent’s house. They haven’t seen her for so long you agreed.
The drive wasn’t any better. It was uncomfortably quiet with only the radio music filling the air. Thankfully, it played one Dreamcatcher’s song, and Gahyeon humming along with it made the atmosphere a little lighter. It was quite a long ride, but you survived.
Something was going on, and you were being kept in the dark. You knew it was about SuA. About what happened yesterday? It was not like you weren’t affected either. But you knew it was because of you, and you couldn’t do much.
“I love you,” you whispered before kissing her gently on the lips in front of her parents’ house. It was the only thing you thought you could do. A gentle kiss and the words she wanted to hear the most.
Gahyeon reciprocated with a peck of her own on your lips. She inched close, another on your cheek. Before whispering her reply to your words.
“I love you too.” This time the side of her lips raised as she was almost too drawn by the black hole in front of her. Three words and a kiss were the reassurance she deserved. She turned around happily to their house.
The night before, Gahyeon wished for you to express yourself more. Say that you wanted her as much as she wanted you. Reject Bora flatly, but instead, what she got was only you wondering and a last defeated line.
But this time, the saying of those three words and the kiss reassured Gahyeon of something. Something that made her feel less of a pitied woman and more of a chosen love.
Tumblr media
Months have passed since then and it was like the hatchet was buried. The topic has never been talked about. Unsaid feelings and concerns were left unsaid, but you and Gahyeon continued to work on your relationship. It was like she didn’t have to bring it up, as you knew ever since that moment in front of her parent’s house—it was a testament to your feelings—it was all that was needed.
Today, there she was sitting on her chair. With that black dress’ fitting her, she would make every model in this world thankful that Gahyeon became an idol—it hugged her body tightly, proudly highlighting her gorgeous figure. Not just that, the French tips, the designer ring you gifted her, a scrunchy just in case, pink hair, and red lips, complete a date night look.
Gahyeon was a goddess.
Gahyeon no matter what she was wearing or even if she was wearing nothing at all, she would be the most beautiful girl in this world to you and many people. Today though, she was dressed extra special, just for you, and with that, you were thankful for being the one chosen by this goddess.
Gahyeon’s attention was all poured into the menu in front of her. She giggled as she looked at each page excitedly. Why wouldn’t she be excited? The meal was treated by you, and it was your second anniversary. You just stared at her, reminiscing all of the things that you two had gone through for the past year. From a rather peculiar deal after a one-night stand, a night for three naked bodies with the same girl you had a one-night stand with, and through all of that confusion and pain you had caused the girl in front of you, here you were celebrating this festive day.
“Don’t look at me like that, I’m gonna melt,” she teased as she closed the menu and gestured for the waiter to take her orders before looking back at you. Gahyeon smiled naughtily as if she had concocted something mischievous inside her head.
She inched closer until there was only a few centimeters between you and her lips which made you instinctively close your eyes.
For a kiss, but you just heard giggling before you—
“Ahh! What was that?” you asked as you opened your eyes only to find the love of your life back at her seat with the same smirk she had earlier. You just caressed your forehead, trying to ease the pain of her attack.
“You looked too cute, I had to tease you.” Her laughs echoed into your ears—a symphony you would never get tired of. Sadly, that soon came to a halt as the waiter came to take the food order. Of course, the order was hers to decide alone, you had given her the privilege to do so on this special occasion.
She opted for a specialty dish, a whole pizza, a side of roasted potatoes, an assorted seafood dish, and pints of beer to keep the cold night warm.
“Yah, that’s too much, we can’t possibly finish all of that,” You said to her to which she replied with a pout, “Aish, you’re not planning on making me finish all of that?”
“Of course! It’s the man of the relationship's job to finish all the food his woman ordered.” Gahyeon pointed out before handing the menu to the waiter. There she goes, a typical girlfriend moves to use gender roles to get what they want.
The food didn’t take too long to arrive. And it also didn’t take any for you two to enjoy the feast in front of you.
“Here try this,” Gahyeon offered you a spoonful of the specialty dish she ordered which you gladly accepted shyly before she herself tried it. Whether she was sweet or she wanted to see how it tasted first, her mixed expression said it was both.
“How was it?” She asked and you just nodded. Gahyeon never was the kind to hide her affection. She didn't even try to hide the relationship from the media. For a while it became a headache for her management, but with time and effort, it all became fine. Now it is an open fact that Gahyeon from Dreamcatcher is dating a non-showbiz man.
“It’s delicious!” Gahyeon blissfully exclaimed after she took a bite. You smiled unknowingly while watching her—it looked like it was worth it to book this restaurant months earlier for this date. She was happy—the way she hummed as she ate was a testament to this.
“Don’t stuff yourself too much or you’ll end up complaining to me later that you gained weight,” you teased her as you too stuffed yourself with the delicious food. She glared at you—never mention gaining weight with someone who controls theirs for their job. An idol needs to always stay in shape after all—their almost impossible-like figures.
“I’m sorry.”
Time passed like that. You two passed bicker on to each other. Talking about all the mundane things. Just there, enjoying the company of each other.
The night has been perfect so far. The cold breeze was countered by the alcohol, delicious food alongside great conservation, and the reincarnation of beauty and kindness, your date Gahyeon has been nothing but lovely(also a teasing master), there was no reason to be unhappy.
“I said to stop staring at me like that.” She looked at you sourly, pretending to be annoyed at you.
“I wasn’t, I wasn’t looking at you!” you retorted at her. “I was looking at that last piece of pizza.”
You took it, bit on it, and she looked like hell rose and her soul left her body.
“But, I was gonna take that last piece,” she dejectedly said as she pouted at you.
“Yah! You, we’re breaking up! You stole my pizza.” Gahyeon pointed her fork at you, threatening you with it.
“Come on now, fox, I’m sorry. Here take the piece.” You placed the pizza on her, but she just glared at you.
“But, you already took a bite!” She moved the piece back to your plate but you refused and placed it again on her plate.
“No! This is betrayal! Did you know wars started because of pizza!” Whelp, that was clearly an overreaction. Or maybe not, you made a mental note to search later which historical event she might be referring to.
For the second time, she returned the pizza. And by then you had already noticed other guests from the tables near you looking. Not that it was embarrassing you, but being a cause of distraction to other people was bad.
“Babe, I’m really sorry,” You apologized sincerely. “Look, we can order another pizza if you still want them. We can also take them as a takeout for later.”
 “The next time, I promise I’ll ask you, if you want the food before I eat it, okay?” You held out your pinky, and she raised just her eyebrow and crossed her arms as you wiggled the finger in front of her.
“Hmm, k. You better order the same one!” Gahyeon hooked her finger onto yours and stood up. It all happened too fast and before you even knew it, her lips connected to yours, not caring if it was a public display of affection or if she could be photographed by a random fan.
You two had done it more than times you could ever count, but it was still as magical—her soft supple lips landing on yours, staining it with her red lipstick.
“Be ready, I think you’ll be on Dispatch tomorrow,” Gahyeon smirked as she disconnected her finger from yours and snatched the piece of pizza on your plate before she sat again and ate it. You will definitely be on Dispatch tomorrow after that,  but this time, it won’t be a controversy but it is to report about Gahyeon’s successful relationship.
As for you, you shyly sat there—red as an apple after that scene straight out of a KDrama.
You shyly gestured for the waiter.
“Can we get the check and then a pizza for takeout,” you said to the waiter as Gahyeon continued to enjoy herself, taking pictures as she ate her food. You took out your phone to capture some photos.
It was such a mundane thing, but it was so beautiful. Her just being there, eating the food you treated her comfortably without any care in the world.
The way she smiles.
The way she munches her food.
It was love when even the most boring things became the most interesting.
There was no worry in this world with you and her in it. It was proving how fruitful your efforts were in this relationship.
You love her and that is all that matters. You wouldn't trade her for anything or anyone. That was what you decided ever since that day.
Soon the waiter came with a box of pizza and the check for the food. You paid for everything and got ready to leave. The night was still young, there were so many things to do, and there was only so much you could do.
Not much time after, Gahyeon found herself walking alongside the beach, and you followed her from behind. The air was cold to feel,  the song of the ocean resonated to the ear, her footsteps left prints on the sand beneath, and her dress flew and formed waves like the ocean’s.
It was a sight to behold.
There was just a certain kind of beauty as the moon just shone on her like it was a spotlight, her porcelain skin glowed as if it was reflecting the moon like the water does. The focus was all just for her and everything, even the breathtaking view just became a backdrop to her beauty. It was a picturesque sight that would forever be imprinted on one’s brain.
However, it wasn’t anything special. Rather it was just Gahyeon and your eyes. The eyes that allowed you to see her for who she was. It wasn’t because of her beauty, or her personality, it was Gahyeon as a whole.
What people don’t really understand was that attraction and love are two different things.
Seeing someone and wanting them is attraction.
Seeing someone and wishing to be with them is love.
Of course, attraction is normal among lovers, but there is a fine line between lust, infatuation, and love. To which is what is underneath all that attraction. The normality and comfort of just being in her presence. Gahyeon isn’t the goddess or the idol of everyone. The difference between your love and the love of her fans is that you don’t look up in the sky for her—seeing her in glasses of such absurdity and obscurity.
Gahyeon is there.
She’s always been there up ahead. She’s not up there on a pedestal.
She’s there with you.
And that’s what you call Love.
And that’s when you truly see. It was not the glow of her skin under the moonlight, or the way her pink hair and black dress swayed to the blow of the sea breeze, or the way that sight was like a masterpiece waiting to be captured and kept in an art museum.
It was again only Gahyeon. Gahyeon who was just walking alongside the beach. Gahyeon, who was stuffed with all of the food she ate. Gahyeon, who probably was feeling cold, because one, she wore sleeveless, two she didn’t bring any jacket even though you told her to do so earlier, and three, because it was simply cold during that night.
Gahyeon makes you worry. Gahyeon makes you feel unease. Gahyeon makes you hurt. Gahyeon makes you wanna care. Gahyeon makes you feel alive. Gahyeon makes you cry. Gahyeon makes you laugh.
Tumblr media
Gahyeon is Gahyeon.
She took out her phone, pointed it onto the horizon, and soon you felt a vibration inside your pocket.
“The moon looks so beautiful isn't it?” Her message said alongside the picture of the horizon as if you weren't there with her. You smiled as you typed the reply.
“Come on, why are you acting like I’m not even here,” you said as you approached her and nudged her. She giggled and looked at your face for a second before she went back to staring at the horizon. You dropped the pizza that you ordered as takeout at the sand, took off your jacket, and shielded Gahyeon from having a cold later tonight.
“I knew you’d do that. That’s why I didn't bring a jacket. It is a boyfriend thing to do,” she commented and you just giggled in response.
“The moon looks so blue.” There it was up above the skies, shining alone brightly. It must have been lonely. There were no stars above and even if there were, no matter how it seemed like they were close to each other, they were truly drifting away from each other. It was scary.
She held your hand. Tightly as if she was scared you would just disappear through thin air. It was sweaty and cold, but she didn't mind.
“I prefer the red sunset.”
Yes, that red sunset back when we were just teenagers without any care in the world,  chasing our dreams, and then and there I knew I only had one dream.
And it was to be with you.
It was funny because I was making fun of how frail you were, and how you wouldn’t be able to run a mile. You wouldn’t be able to reach the beach at the end of the town. Your house was on the other end of the town after all.
But you did, and the first thing you did was send me a photo of that beautiful red sunset.
Tumblr media
t was so beautiful.
It made me happy.
You were amazing and it was beautiful.
I could imagine how you were frowning when I replied and said how pretty it was.
I mean, you sent it to me to show how amazing you were right?
It made me so happy so I took my bike and pedaled all the way to you.
You were so funny. I caught you complaining.
“Not that! I want her to know how awesome it is that I ran here!” You exclaimed.
“Oh, you didn’t want to show me the sunset?” You didn’t even notice that I was behind you.
“That’s right… not the sunset…” That was when you realized, and looked back before jumping out of shock.
“Gah, what are you doing here?” You asked me.
“Talking to you last time made me want to see the sunset.” That is what I answered, but the truth is…
I wanted to see you. I even brought you a bottle of water. You drank as we sat on the sand.
“I’m so happy,”—I expressed— “you ran all the way here to send me a picture of that beautiful sunset.”
“It’s not like that…” you denied but you were blushing. You continued mumbling, trying to come up with an excuse. You were so cute, you didn’t know what to do and you couldn’t even understand what you were feeling.
I called out your name. You were so rattled.
“It’s so red, isn’t it?”
“Red? Am I blushing?”
But I just said…
“It’s a beautiful red sunset. So pretty…”
“The sunset? It sure is. It’s red, isn’t it.”
“Well, it’s not as red as you.” I couldn’t really help but tease you. Your reactions were so cute.
But really…  I was so glad.
I could watch that beautiful sunset with you.
Those were the days.
That was also the day, I realized… It wasn’t a crush.
I love you.
“Red sunset?” Your question brought back Gahyeon from her trance.
“Yes, I wanna see it again,” Gahyeon said as she continued to watch to the horizon while you watched her.
“Is this that beautiful?” You asked her.
“Yes, it was so beautiful,” Gahyeon answered. She turned to look at you and locked eyes.
“Yes, beautiful.” She giggled.
“Take me to the beach again soon,” Gahyeon asked full of expectations.
“Why?” You asked but you already made a mental note to plan another beach trip. Maybe this time back in yours and Gahyeon’s hometown. You remember visiting alone the last time you drove her to see her parents, and it was beautiful. Maybe you two could eat some crabs and other seafood.
Gahyeon loves seafood a lot after all.
“I wanna see a nice red sunset again. Also, I really want to catch some crabs.” Gahyeon said and rubbed her stomach. Is she a mind reader? Or was she just thinking about using her stomach? Either way, it made you laugh a little. You expected her to say something about food.
“Then, we should go earlier than today so that we catch some crabs while we wait for the sun to set.” It’s been decided. You don’t when, but you knew it was gonna happen, maybe when Gahyeon’s schedule loosened up again.
“I wonder how many I can catch.” She said after you ruffled her pink hair. Gahyeon retaliated, trying hard for you not to ruin her hair that she had so much time to perfect just for your anniversary date. When she finally was able to stop you, she glared at you and pouted cutely.
“You won’t be able to and you’ll make me catch them instead.” You just laughed as you tried to fix her again. You know her too much. Gahyeon would say that it’s a boyfriend thing to do to catch crabs for her girlfriend and cook them—she would leverage her girlfriend card again.
“That’s rude, I can do it too.” She slapped your hand and fixed her hair herself. Of course, her slap didn’t use too much force. Gahyeon is sulky girlfriend but she doesn’t want to cause you harm.
“I didn’t say, you can’t. I’m saying you’ll be too scared to do so.” She threw punches. Again they were not hurtful, but she was throwing a real tantrum and if you don’t calm her, she will sulk for the rest of the date.
“Come, sit here.” You held her hand and pulled her to sit on the sand near where you put down the takeout food from earlier.
“Open the pizza. I’m hungry.” She ordered to which to gladly followed. As soon as the box revealed the food, her eyes widened. Gahyeon, who was almost drooling turned her mood upside down because of the luscious pizza in front of her. She couldn’t restrain herself, as she excitedly hummed before she went for a piece and ate it.
“You’ll get fat,” You commented and she nudged you while her mouth was still stuffed.
“You’ll exercise with me, don’t worry,” Gahyeon retorted and you just laughed as you too took a piece.
The box of pizza was emptied as the night went on. Conservation under the moon went by faster than normal and that’s okay. As long as it was with her, time spent was time spent well.
Soon she decided that the cold ocean breeze was not doing it for her anymore and opted you two to leave the beach. Hand-in-hand you two went back to your accommodation for the night—a hotel near the beach and the restaurant.
The hotel room was nice. It wasn’t anything special like what most fans would thought idols were always staying in. It was a small suite with a single bed, kitchen, bath, and a balcony that overlooks the ocean. It was nice and not over the top. Gahyeon loved it. As soon as she entered the room, flopped and bounced on the bed, playing as if she still had so much energy to burn.
“Come on, our anniversary night is still not over!” Gahyeon had her arms open wide, tempting you to jump on her arms. It wasn’t an offer anyone could refuse. A woman as cute and attractive as she flopped her arms open wide on top of a fortress of pillows and mattress, there was no way you would pass on that.
It was a long night that you wish wouldn’t end.
You didn’t waste any more time to accept her offer as soon you were engulfed by her arms. You were on top of her, pressing onto her as she caressed the back of your head. Gahyeon smelled nice. Gahyeon always smells nice. Her smell made you feel relaxed, and her hug was comfortable. She gently ghosted her hand back and forth of your hair as she hummed your favorite song.
It felt like a baby being held and hummed to sleep. It felt like heaven. It felt like home. It felt like the right place. And that place was inside her nestling hug. Gahyeon cuddled you, and you nestled back. Her voice was angelic. It was a known fact, but hearing her voice almost whispering the melodies of love, was the greatest fan service only available to you.
Your phone vibrated a few times, but you ignored it as you focused only on her and her alone. Relish the moment while it lasts. Take advantage of each second before it passes. For God JiU’s sake, it was your anniversary and nothing is more important than Gahyeon and you—it was probably just some work problem needing of solution anyway, they could at least handle it for one night.
Before you even knew it, Gahyeon finished her song.
“Thank you for putting up with me.” She whispered.
“Why wouldn’t I? I’m your boyfriend.” You answered back.
“Do you lo—”
“I love you,” you cut her before she could the question to allow her to hear the words. However, she didn’t do so after all.
“I love you too,” Gahyeon whispered before she pushed you off her and got off the bed with a mischievous smile.
“You’ll suffocate and squish me if we stay this way for long,”—Gahyeon pointed at you—“Special cuddling fanservice session is finished.”
This time you were the one to pout at her.
“No fair, I wanna cuddle more,” You complained.
“Take care of that constant vibration on your phone first while I take quick shower.” Gahyeon winked, “We’ll do something special when you come back.”
In the blink of an eye, Gahyeon disappears to the bathroom after insinuating something naughty for later. You were left in a daze for a few seconds, imagining what she meant by her words. You were only able to break the trance after a vibration.
You finally opened your phone only to be shocked by what was on the screen which made your smile turned upside down.
You quickly went down to the hotel lobby, where the message on your phone led you to find her.
“I just came back from a long hiatus and you’ll greet me with that face?” She pointed out your conflicted expression.
“Noona… why are you here?” She approached for a hug, but you were quick to step back and draw a line between the two of you.
It was SuA who you didn’t hear so much after months of cutting the connection from all of you—or at least from you. You were reluctant to talk to her.
“Why are you giving me the cold shoulders?” SuA teased as she once again approached step-by-step and you backed down for each step she took.
“Noona, stop this… what are you doing.” But she didn’t listen and forcefully tried to take your hand. Of course, you had more strength than her but being forceful to someone you cared about was hard.
“I’m taking you with me,” SuA declared as she tried to pull you, but you just didn’t let her as she pleased.
“Noona, I’m not going with you. Where? Where were you even? Where are you trying to take me?!” You lashed out at her. Thankfully, no one was around to see the scene. The older one just stared at you annoyed that you didn’t listen to her.
That standoff took a few seconds before you turned your back to walk away. You were finished with her. You were not doing this. Atleast, not on your anniversary night. You were not going to get swayed by her.
“Didn’t you say that you love me?”—her words stopped your steps—“Prove it to me now, ran away with me.”
Turn back. Look at her. Hear her cries.
“I love you.” Beads of tears slowly fell down her gorgeous face.
“Please, say it.
I wanna hear it again.
Say that you love me.
Choose me.”
It was painful, watching her cry fully knowing that you were the reason.
“I love Gahyeon.” Three words. One sentence. One name that wasn’t her.
It was short but meaningful. You didn’t regret. You were straight. You didn’t apologize for either hurting her or not choosing her. You said it. And that broke SuA.
“I shouldn’t have let you go.” Those were the words that escaped SuA's mouth as she realized it was too late and where it all went wrong for her—where she lost. You helped her. She looked so frail. What did she even do all this time?
“Noona…” SuA wiped her tears and quickly composed herself.
“Don’t worry about me. I’ll be fine.” SuA faked a smile and you returned it to her with a caring one.
“I’ll be off your back, don’t worry,” SuA said as she tried to walk away. You stopped her. You held her hand, but just like what you did earlier.
“Where are you going?” You asked her worriedly.
“Don’t worry, I already told Minji-yah that I’ll be coming back. I ain’t going nowhere,” She explained as she walked away.
“Let’s catch up soon.”
She looked back.
She smiled bittersweetly.
“Tell me, when did you realize that you love her?” Those were her last words before she walked away and left you speechless. However, maybe it wasn’t really what she wanted to ask, but rather the words were…
“When did you realize you didn’t really love me?”
It didn’t take long before SuA was no longer in sight. And her words are still stuck in your head. When? When did you really realize it?
Take out your phone. Stare at the picture of the woman on your wallpaper, Gahyeon.
When did I realize I love you?
That’s a really funny question.
But really.
It was maybe sometime after we officially started dating.
Honestly, I wasn’t sure yet. I knew I loved Bora-unnie or so I thought I loved her. I wasn’t sure. I was confused at that time. But I did my best to make you happy.
To try to make it with you.
I said I love you. We kissed already. We even had sex already at that time. I’m cruel aren’t I? I’ll probably go to hell for being a liar.
I knew I didn't love you yet. I felt disgusted with myself. You were like a sister to me after all. And I was lying and taking advantage of your feelings for me.
But…
Love is a Lie.
I said and I knew it was a lie.
But I wished, for one day… I’ll be able to truly tell you without any lies. To be able to kiss you out of love. To be able to be one with you. To want you as much as you wanted me.
To love you more than you love me.
One day…
It happened.
It wasn’t like I expected it to be.
It was a normal day. It wasn’t anything special.
I just woke up and that was when I realized…
I love you, Gahyeon.
When I saw your face the moment I opened my eyes. You were far from your beautiful self in front of the camera. You were ugly. Your hair was like a broom. You were snoring. Your breath stinks. You were eating your hair and you had dried drool on the sides of your lips.
You were ugly, Gahyeon.
It made me laugh. Although, I wasn’t any better. I was just fortunate enough to wake up earlier than you. I had time to fix myself before I got called ugly by you.
But I didn't…
I went for the kiss on your drool-painted lips. Mine wasn’t any different.
But this time it was different.
I kissed you because I love you.
I love you.
Not anyone else.
How could I be so blind when you were here all along?
I kissed you again and it felt so right.
But I accidentally woke you up.
You were smiling. That was the brightest smile I've ever seen in my life. You giggled as the sun funneling through the window illuminated you.
“Your breath stinks,” you teased.
“Please, brush your teeth then come back and kiss me,” you added.
It was funny. Yours stinks too! I didn't mind it at all, and I bet you didn't mind mine too.
That morning was a drop of dew. And I just watched you with love. The way you walked around with your disheveled hair and just my shirt on. You didn't care at all. Why would you? It's just me, the man you love.
You were so lazy that I had to brush your teeth and tie up your hair. If only your fans could see you, I wonder how they would react?
You're a slowpoke, Gahyeon. I couldn't blame you though, with a schedule as busy as yours. I would use any free time to laze around.
“When will breakfast be ready?!” You exclaimed from the bathroom while I was in the kitchen. You always cared about food.
“In a few minutes, take your time with your routine!” You were sleepy and lazy but you were always so diligent. You never skip on anything. You always took care of yourself. Although, most of the time, I still had to take care of you.
Maybe, that's my job.
“Gah! Breakfast is ready!”  When breakfast was finally ready, you sprinted to the dining table. You were suddenly but then became sheepish. You took most bites with your eyes closed.
From then I took a mental note to prepare something that would help you sleep better every night before bed.
You took each bite excitedly but still sheepishly. You hummed as you ate. You always hum when you eat. It has always been an indicator that you were eating something delicious.
“This sucks. Do you want to take cooking lessons?” That was what you right after when you literally handed your plate for a second serving.
I gladly gave it to you. Do you remember?
That morning was so bright, comfortable, and was fleeting. Before I knew it, you were going to leave for practice and I was going to work.
However, I wasn’t sad because we were parting for the day, rather, I was already expecting the bliss that I would have when I finally met in the night.
It was such a peculiar thing, but I knew right then and there when I saw your back passing through my apartment door…
I love you.
“I should go back to Gahyeon,” You muttered to yourself as you made your way back to your hotel room, but unbeknownst to you, you would find an empty room. You wondered where she was. Did she meet SuA? Or did she somewhere else?
You were worried. You tried to text her and also tried to ask the hotel staff if they saw a pink-haired girl roaming. You might have taken too long because of SuA and she went out to look for you.
That was when you received a reply from Gahyeon.
“Wait for me.” That was what her text message said.
Where were you Gahyeon?
“Unnie,” Gahyeon called who was waiting at the other end of the hallway for SuA. The older stopped and looked at the younger. Did she he—
“I saw and heard everything.” For the first Gahyeon admitted that she was there or that she was listening. She always kept to herself and was always patient whenever something like this happened, but tonight Gahyeon decided differently.
“Not gonna welcome your unnie back? I just came back from a long hiatus,” SuA commented as they faced each other. Two women, who love the same men, but while the other succeeds, the other fails.
“Well, I would be happy to welcome you with a hug and a kiss but you just tried to steal my boyfriend,” Gahyeon answered with an annoyed tone.
“I didn’t try to steal him,” SuA corrected as she approached Gahyeon step-by-step. The younger stepped backward every time the older closed in up until she couldn’t, hitting the wall behind her. SuA was so closed, uncomfortably closed for Gahyeon, but she didn’t backed down.
“He’s mine to begin with,”—No one dared to break eye contact—“He loves m—”
“He loved you, Bora,” Gahyeon cut. She said so sternly and clearly, even opting not to use any honorifics. SuA bit her lip in response to what Gahyeon said. She knew deep down it was true. She just couldn’t accept it.
“He loved you,”—Gahyeon reiterated before SuA could even retort—“What? Cat’s got your tongue? It’s true is it not?”
Gahyeon had put SuA in her place or rather, she had put her back in her place. It was harsh, but SuA was reckless. She came out of nowhere and tried to hijack their anniversary night. It was almost as if SuA went there and just hoped for the best and trusted the little hope she had. Gahyeon, on the other hand, didn’t think twice to defend her place.
“I shouldn’t have pitied y—” SuA said before biting her lip as she instantly regretted what she had said, but it was too late. Gahyeon after hearing what SuA said, had a hammer punched in her stomach. She wasn’t expecting SuA to at least not say those words. Or at least for SuA not to feel that way. Gahyeon knew her and you happened partly because SuA felt bad about her, but for it to be said in her face…
Something inside of them broke, and a bottomless pit sunk inside of their hearts.
“I don’t know you anymore.” Gahyeon pushed her, and SuA fell to the ground. She didn’t mean to push her down to the ground, just enough to put distance between the two of them. Her heart ached. Gahyeon was worried as she looked down on her as the older looked away in shame.
“Please don’t call me or him. I don’t care about our jobs. Please, I’ll find a way. Just leave.” Gahyeon walked away and SuA could only watch her as tears once again flowed out of her eyes. She knew she had not only lost you, but now she lost Gahyeon.
Gahyeon wasn’t any better, she cried and wept as she took heavy steps fully knowing she had just cut off one of the most important people in her life. They both didn’t want for things to end up like this, but emotions cascaded like a waterfall and there was no way of stopping this. There was no way it could have ended with all parties happy—it was simply impossible.
Love takes.
Love is painful.
Love comes with a price.
Gahyeon clearly remembered. She didn’t want things to end up this way. She tried. A scenario where no one was hurt, but in the end… all of you ended up hurting. It was foolish to hope. Gahyeon wiped her tears and found somewhere to sit. She closed her eyes.
“Gahyeonie, wake up.” I opened my eyes and my eyes met with daggers of light before I saw her—the face of the person I was most jealous of. SuA, who was asleep beside me.  SuA who made love with me and my boyfriend.
“Swa, good morning,” I greeted, still half-asleep.
“Good morning, Baby.” She caressed my face. Her eyes… They looked so sad. She looked like she was in pain, but she smiled.
“What's wrong, Unnie? I asked worriedly. Although, once again I knew… I knew but I couldn't do anything. Or I wouldn't do anything. I would die if I were to give back what she gave me.
‘Gahyeonie, do you love him?” SuA said, almost choking on her words.
“Yes, I love him so much. I have loved him for so long.” Those were my words. Those were also the words that drove you like this.
I'm sorry for being selfish.
“Unnie, do you love him?” I asked her once again. The same question from the night before.
“I do,” She confessed, and tears started to flow down her cheeks, staining her pretty face. She confessed… it came straight from her mouth. Her true feelings.
“But I love you more.” Those words… I didn't even know how to react. It was so sincere.
I wiped her tears, but I was crying too. Everything was a mess, and honestly, I was surprised how you slept through all of it.
When you woke up, it was as if nothing happened. We had a pleasant breakfast but the atmosphere was so awkward.
But I didn't expect it. That was the last I would see SuA for a long time. She just left. If I knew I would have hugged her. But I only found out later on from JiU-unnie that she left the country and went on a sudden hiatus.
If I knew…
I should have known at that moment.
It was goodbye.
That is until now.
Gahyeon opened her eyes. She had calmed down. She stopped crying. She knew she had to return to your suite. You were waiting for her, but she knew you would notice her puffy eyes.
That she cried a lot.
“So much for an anniversary night,” Gahyeon muttered as she stood up to head to a comfort room before going back to the suite where you were waiting.
Soon, Gahyeon stood in front of the door. Nervous about how she would explain what happened or how to open up about the topic or how to even talk about it. She wasn't ready, but she knew you would ask.
“Please, don’t ask.” She grabbed the doorknob and turned it. As the door swung, she found you, and couldn’t help but smile as she found you pacing back and forth, worried about her.
“Gahyeon!” You exclaimed. You saw her and ran up to her—finally relieved that Gahyeon had come back.
Before she could even react, she was engulfed by your arms in a bear hug. Her arms enveloped back as yours tightened. Hearts were booming. You could feel it, she could feel it, every fast-paced beat booming as your hearts connected.
Gahyeon had let go. She just let it happen. She didn’t speak, she just nestled into the comfort and protection of your hug. It was her home. It was warm yet something cold on your chest countered it. It was your shirt wetted by the diamonds dripping down her beautiful face. You caressed her back, trying to lull the crying girl as Gahyeon buried her face against your chest.
“It’s okay.” Gahyeon clenched her teeth and fists, took a handful of the backside of your shirt, and bit on the fabric her mouth was able to reach. She just kept crying without uttering a word. She just released what she was holding back inside of her.
It broke your heart seeing her like this. You couldn’t do anything but caress her back and hope that it was enough to ease her pain. Several minutes passed and she wasn’t calming down. You kissed her forehead and she looked up to you.
“Do you love me?” Gahyeon asked, her eyes pleading for reassurance as they continuously stained her face with tears. You kissed her once again, but this time it wasn’t your lips and her forehead, it was her lips and yours colliding softly for a peck. She smiled brightly. You haven’t even said the words she wanted to hear, but her eyes already lit up as if she knew it was coming.
“I love you.” The words were finally uttered and it was all that was needed for Ghayeon to wrap her arms around your neck. Pull in. Let go. Hug it. Before you even knew it, your lips collided with hers once again. Close your eyes. She captured your lips and pulled you into a longing hungry kiss. Knots were tied, and two soft marshmallow muscles clashed, moving with the rhythm of her hunger.
She was a blackhole longing for love. It was scary how a woman in pain like her craved love like this. It wasn’t a sweep inside your mouth as she playfully tickled the underside of your tongue while exploring the depths only she could reach.
Gahyeon pulled out, caught her breath, and chased once again as she lured you. She started sucking on your tongue, and you gladly let her without any resistance. She pulled and sucked. She circled her tongue around yours.
Seconds passed by and the endless exchange between lips didn’t end. Seconds became minutes, and tears already stopped flowing, but the fervent kiss didn’t end there. It started with a peck and it ended up in a torrid kiss. Eyes closed and lips glued to each other. Her arms traveled around your neck while yours gently caressed her hair.
She pulled out and a string of saliva bridged the two of you. Her eyes still brimming with hunger as yours locked with her lovingly. She wanted more and you would gladly give anything for her.
“Do you love me?” Gahyeon asked once again. This time you were the one to capture her lips and Gahyeon couldn’t help but smile while her lips were still connected to yours. Glide from her back to her lower hips as Gahyeon cupped your cheeks as she continued devouring you.
In one swoop motion, you lifted her off the ground, resulting in a momentary disconnection between the two of you. That didn’t matter though as she was quick to clash lips once again while you tried to excruciatingly navigate around the suite to get into the bedroom almost blindly.
You had hit several corners. Topped down appliances and broke a few glasses before you found a counter to sit Gahyeon on. It wasn't the destination, but you soon would get there but for now.
She was laughing and smiling, you were in a crazy haze. You pulled back. Eyes locked as the playful hands grabbed onto the ends of her black dress. You didn't waste any moment as her porcelain skin revealed itself as you peeled that dress off her—from the tips of her toes, her luscious legs, toned stomach, and torso. A momentary break of eye contact as the garment blocked your sight of her.
Look up and down. Magnificence exuded as inch and every corner of her felt it was sculpted by a higher being itself. Her porcelain skin felt like clouds on your palm, and the way her body subtlety reacted… each touch shivers, each touch was electrifying.
Gahyeon wasn't one to just be the one almost on her birthday with only her matching black lingerie. She pulled you by the hand, grabbed your shirt, and didn't waste any moment to remove it. She ogled at you—it was a sight for her—it was the prize that was for hers alone.
“You’re mine,” Gahyeon said, asserting her ownership over you as she bit her lips, almost drolling while eyeing you. She didn't waste any more time as she pulled even closer for another make-out session—this time more athirst. Each feathery touch made her more hungry, intoxicated, and addicted. Kisses were her morphine—each one made her forget the pain and put her on a high.
“I’m yours.” You broke the kiss. You traveled from her lips to her left ear as you engulfed her for a hug. She wrapped her leg around your hips. The distance was small. It didn’t allow any wild movement, but that was okay, being able to see her gorgeous face up close was more than enough. This time she was smiling. You had only seen it through your peripheral vision, but her lips, her eyes, they both were happy.
“Shut up, carry me to the bed, and fuck me,” Gahyeon ordered. Giggles left your mouth as you gently carried her off the countertop table. She hugged you and nestled on your shoulders. She rested and relished once again taking advantage of the comfort of your warmth.
Soon you laid her down on the bed. While you caught your breath, you took a moment to once again look at the art in front of you. She wasn’t crying. Gahyeon was happy. She was anticipating. She was like a kid waiting for her request to be granted. You could stare at her all day, but her order, you needed it as much as she did.
You smirked at her as you unbuckled your pants and stripped down to your birthday suit. She smirked back and taunted you with her body. She didn’t have any intention to remove her lingerie. She wanted you to do it. Although fucking her with that sexy lingerie still on was still also an option, you wanted her to be as bare as you were—completely naked and vulnerable.
“Why are you so lazy?” You grabbed the hem of her black thong and tried to peel it off her. It was stubborn, and her ass held on to it. You lifted that peach ass of hers that she spent so much time in the gym to achieve for a moment just to get it off, began to slowly remove it off her lips, making its way down her smooth and slender porcelain legs, and revealed a treasure, her smooth, glistening pink lips.
You wanted a taste. You wanted to tease her. So you dove right into the treat in front of you. You started with kisses up and down her inner thighs, gaining soft moans while your lips repeatedly contacted her warm skin. You planted wet kisses on her thighs again, but this time dangerously near her wet folds.
“Just do it already.” Gahyeon was already squirming. She wanted it, and a lick down her thighs, staining her pristine thighs with long licks garnered even more moans. You giggled mischievously while she was getting more and more impatient, but before she could complain once again, the first lick came in, tracing her pink slit—one long sweet taste of her wet folds.
Teasing her might have backfired as she grabbed onto your head, and pushed you in her legs forcibly, forcing you to continue eating her. You didn’t have any choice, buried in her crotch, you accepted your fate, and her delicious pussy. Explore every corner. Reach the deepest depths. You dove in to find out how deep your tongue could reach inside her. You basked and inhaled the aroma of her pussy. You didn’t let any of her juices pass your mouth. And Gahyeon took it all in, receiving all of it, moaning and expressing how pleasurable it was all.
You let your hot breath blow against her crotch, and she whined in response. Quickly, you went in with an up-and-down motion deep inside using your tongue. She cussed, she moaned, and she quivered as you continued eating her out.
“More!” She exclaimed as if that was the cue, you put pressure on her clit. You swirled around it, gaining louder and more high-pitched moans as you ran circular patterns on it. Push and swirl. You gently pushed it with your tongue, then took it in your mouth and sucked on her clit.
Her legs squished, and her nails dug in deeper and deeper as every second passed by. She pushed you deeper in hopes that your tongue would reach deeper inside her slits. It was getting harder to breathe as minutes went by. Your head was going numb from the pain from her nails digging. Her wet pussy almost drowned you. Buried against her crotch, all you could do was go crazy, trying to taste and service her as much as you can, sucking her wet and delicious pussy as you turned Gahyeon into a squirming mess.
The only option was to tap out. You forcibly disengaged, simultaneously edging her. It wasn’t time for her to reach her climax, and it wasn’t time yet for a death by thighs head locking you. You licked your lips and caught your breath. You smirked fully knowing what you did as you tenderly caressed her thighs while she pouted.
“What are you looking at?” You teasingly snarked at her, and she glared at you before you got on top of her. You weren’t one to keep her waiting when you just edged her. And just like any other time before and now, you lined the tip of your cock up against the opening of her entrance and captured her lips for a kiss as you pushed—slowly and caringly, entering her inch by inch smoothly inside of her already soaking wet quim.
Gahyeon hugged every bit of your cock. She was perfectly wet and perfectly tight every time, and it was always cute how she was also perfectly cute, innocent, and sexy at the same time. Sex with her had always been a mix of comfort and excitement. With Gahyeon you wouldn’t call it sex, it was the ever-cliched lovemaking.
You started fucking her, slowly, sensually, and carefully. It was different from how you teased her and edged. You pressed bodies, allowing each other to relish the warmth of each other. You let her feel you gravitating against her. Gahyeon had your weight on top of her and she had always loved it. It felt like the sun, warm on the skin, but it didn't burn. Sweaty and almost smelly but it felt cold and fresh to be so close to her. Again and again, like clockwork, you slowly pull your member out from her, but as soon as your tip peeked out of her, you bury yourself deep inside her, causing a melody of her pleasure getting fill up.
“I love you,” she uttered in between her moans.
Again, pull, and push.
“I love you too.”
Now that you had built a slow and steady rhythm, you gradually upped the pace. Faster but not so sudden. The goal was to induce pleasure and not pain, pushing in but within the comfort of your lover just as she loved as both of you became moaning messes—quick huffed breaths—sounds of sex only the two of you know of. The smell of sex, sweat, and saliva lingered in the air. Moans, squelching noises, profanities, proclamations of love, and chased breaths, roared inside that hotel room, accompanied by the warmth of each other.
You started pounding her, faster and more vigorously than before. Full of vigor but full of control. A little bit rough but Gahyeon wrapped her leg around your lips nonetheless, she wouldn’t want you breaking off her while you thrust and looked at her with the desire to pleasure her. Her eyes shut close and she became louder, screaming at the pleasure of your cock.
For Gahyeon this kind of physical intimacy was a form of assurance to ease her fear. Gahyeon feels your love the most when you two are connected. Sex is the highest form of love. Sex is the greatest expression of it. The heat she was relishing, the roughness, the gentleness, the pain, and the pleasure were evidence of love.
It was a treasure how your palm caressed her cheek underneath all that mess. After all, she was a mess and you were a mess, but there was this certain kind of beauty and order amidst all of that and only you two knew of it—only your love knew of it.
There was no time for rest as you as that climax was coming. She didn’t want you to stop fucking, and you didn’t want to either. You fucked her hard and fast. It was a high that you knew too much of. A drug that was only available for you. A medicine that heals Gahyeon and you, but keeps you addicted. It was a contradiction, amidst all that high and intoxication, being lost in the trance of pleasure, you didn’t get lost and chased the pleasure for you alone. You chased her pleasure, and she chased your pleasure, aiming to please each other.
You found her breast, still clothed in her black brassiere. You squeezed and she whined in response and quickly tried to get rid of it, reaching for her straps and setting them aside before flipping them to expose her bountiful mounds. You dove right onto it, took her hardened nippled, and suck on it while massaging the other breast. It was softer than marshmallows, it was like you were kissed by a cloud.
However, you didn’t forget fucking her, you thrust as you sucked like a baby on Gahyeon’s breast. All Gahyeon could do was to receive all of it, and hug your head, hoping it would help you eat her better.
It was time to give attention to the unattended boob. You removed yourself from her boob and left red marks all over her breasts, and a lingering feeling of stretch on her nipple, saliva all over it. You did the same to the other boob, suckles, bites, kisses, peck, smack, smooch, and snog, all the things you could to do to make her release those lovely sounds and to compel her to hug you more tightly and to enable yourself to feel her warmth more, get buried on her breast more.
Although you couldn’t give her boob as much attention at the one as she pulled you up for a momentary rest. You made eye contact with you and chased your breath. Get pulled by her brown orbs. The tips of her lips raised, showcasing her iconic fox smile. Her eyes were as dazed as yours, but she still gazed at you lovingly before uttering the words, “Kiss me.”
“I love you, Lee Gahyeon.” You gladly complied and dove right into kissing her. Gahyeon cupped your cheeks. It was an amorous kiss you shared. A kiss to last a lifetime. One of too many. Certainly not the last but you kissed her as if it was the last. It was as sweet as the first though. You slowed down your pace to allow yourself to relish it more, the way your cock stirred her insides, the it twitches after hitting her deepest parts every time, the way it filled her, the way her lips connect to yours, the way you fuck her while you two shared a loving kiss, and the way she loves you.
Soon a knot in your loins introduced itself to you. What she was chasing for you eventually came and without breaking the kiss of the movement of your hips. You felt a built-up in your groins as her quim clenched, and tightened around your cock. It was time for her too. She tightened her hug, nails dug into your back as you slammed deep inside and pulled her out again and again until you could no longer hold it another.
One last time for the last run, putting in all of your remaining stamina. You fucked like you had every intention to impregnate her. Both of you groan in great pleasure as you let loose to release wave after wave of your thick semen deep inside her while quivered, shut her eyes, bit your lips, and bucked her hips as her orgasm collided with you. An instant climax, and delight, with her plugged pussy leaking out juices that were mixed with her fluids yours.  Her orgasm was strong as all of that built up in her stomach released a wave of ecstasy.
The high felt like forever. The satisfaction was great. Both climaxes subsided and you felt your flaccid member slipping out of her, and her pussy finally unplugged, leaked out your cum. After a few seconds of being frozen in place, Gahyeon released your lip and you let out a sigh of relief before licking the blood off your lip. You collapsed beside her and she turned to face you and hugged you as she tried to recover from the hot session herself.
“I love you too.” Gahyeon gave you a peck, resulting in you blushing. Out of embarrassment you turned your back on her, stood up to get tissues and that thing, and hid it underneath the box of tissues. You went back to the bed and helped her wipe herself and lean off the leaking semen in between her legs. She was smiling mischievously as you wiped her as if she was planning to tease you.
“Why are you acting shy? You’re wiping as if that’s not your cum and you didn’t just eat my pussy.” Her words made you choke and she just laughed heartily. Gahyeon was back to her usual self—cheerful and teasing master.
“I’m not, I’m just thinking about how much I love you.”
You reasoned out. It was far from what she said, but it was the truth. Looking back to all that happened, you couldn’t help but just be happy and relief that you ended up this way. It might be just a hunch but it felt like things would finally get better from here on. It was a little bit chaotic but you finally settled it with SuA. You didn’t choose Gahyeon instead of SuA. You just love Gahyeon and there wasn’t even a competition. What happened with SuA and your feelings for her won’t be forgotten, but it was a lesson. A lesson you would take as you journey with Gahyeon.
Gahyeon is love.
“Why do you have to think about that when you just have to show me?” Gahyeon gazed at you. Her eyes were full of expectation. She was looking far ahead. Looking at the things you two will do from now on. You were looking forward to it too. Gahyeon is the loveliest girl and she isn’t one to hide her love. You just hope to be more like her, and be more confident of your love for her.
“Yes, I’ll do that from now on,” You answered her. You took her hand and smiled at her lovingly. Love was truly bare. Your feelings were as bare as your naked bodies as both of you wore your hearts out. And looking at her, you knew it was time.
You took her left hand and kissed it. Gahyeon just smiled, not suspicious of anything as you reached for the ring you had hidden earlier. Gahyeon just watched. Her eyes showed a hint of confusion. You just continued smiling. Although, maybe there was a hint of nervousness and awkwardness.
“Gahyeon…” You call for her before kissing your fist, still not revealing the ring you had inside it. At this point, Gahyeon already had an idea of what was happening. Tears formed in her eyes with the anticipation of it. And she was right as you revealed the ring. Her mouth kept agape, surprised, and couldn’t believe what was about to happen. Gahyeon’s puppy eyes were both in shock and filled with bliss.
It felt like your heart was about to burst out of nervousness. Will she say yes? Will she decline? Those questions played in your head on repeat as you held the ring tightly. It was an expensive ring or anything that could put a hole in your pockets, but it was something more important. The heirloom ring from your mother. An old piece of gold jewelry with a humble diamond.
“Will you marry me?” You finally asked her and beads of clear crystal started flowing down her beautiful face. You let of her hand and wipe them off.
“Stop crying will you?” You said to her but you started crying also. With the ring, you imagined dreams of seeing her in that white dress, walking down the aisle while you wait for her at the altar. You’ll spend time off for a vacation, a honeymoon on the beachside—you know how much Gahyeon loves the beach. Maybe even starting your own family.
Fingers fidget, and hearts boomed. Time slowed down at that moment in that hotel room. You panicked and weren’t sure if you would wipe her tears first or wipe yours first, but you opted for a third option. You took her left hand once again, and carefully put the ring on her finger.
“Yes, I will marry you!” Gahyeon didn’t stop crying, but she didn’t seem sad at all. The smile painted all over her face said it all, and seeing that made you feel warm inside. It was burning, but it didn’t hurt at all. Neither of you stopped crying but it was okay.
It was a beautiful moment to share. She hugged you tightly, and you reciprocated until you found yourself sharing a kiss. A lovely kiss. Then once again locked eyes, gazing at each other, ever smiling and happy.
Her smile was beautiful. Her happiness was the most beautiful thing to exist. And you’ll do anything to protect that.
Yes, just like that day.
That one cold winter night.
We were out late because of a schoolwork project. The other kids had already gone home and were the only ones to go in the same direction so we walked together. Well, I wouldn’t let a girl walk home that late at night.
We were walking and at that time, we weren’t particularly close or friends yet.
But we ended up talking.
You talked about your dreams. And I talked about mine.
It was just fun.
And maybe,
That was when I started developing something for you.
Well, I realized too late that it was love.
But maybe at that moment, I fell in love with you unknowingly.
All of you were just too beautiful.
The moon bore witness to it.
Your laughs.
Your smile.
Your eyes.
Your dream.
Your everything.
That was when Jasmines bloomed in winter.
