Finale!

Welp, it is done. I finally finished it after burning my eyeballs out! And today is Mario day! Or should I say Mar10 day! (Sorry)

I want to say I had a lot of fun with this, and being able to draw some scenes from my favorite game of all time has made me happy. And it was awesome drawing my favorite people’s characters as well! I had tons of fun with this (and hey, I might do it again one day..”)

Now let’s finish this story shall we?

After returning home, everyone had to take a week to recover from the scary events in space. As much fun it was, almost losing Nina and fighting Ducifer shook their core.

During that werk, Nina was tinkering something up in the kitchen. Silky had tons of Starbjts in her fur and satchel and given them to Nina. She taste a bit of the starbits and realizes how sweet and gushy they taste. An idea pops in her head…

Patches is worry seeing Nina out so late and investigate her intentions. Once she hears of her plan, Patches volunteers with helping and decorating a small little area with some Starbits, yarn and thread. It is small, but Nina loves them nonetheless!

Together the pair make a new sort of cookie. I haven’t got a name, but they turn the Starbits into a colorful cookie that when bitten is oozing with the colorful content of the taste Starbits. Some taste like chocolate, some vanilla, and some candy! But whatever the Starbits taste like or flavors or up to you.

So when everything is set up Nina calls for her family and friends to have a taste as the cookies. One bite and everyone is hooked. For the night they much on cookies, chat, play a few games, and Eric gets a special cake stating he is grounded!

If the Monster High brainrot wasn't obvious enough, I found all the diary entries that come with photos (Something I had no idea was a thing -- I unfortunately never owned a MH doll NIB) AND Y'ALL I CAN'TTTTTTT DUDE I'M GONNA CRYYYYYYYY

This two-pack is one of my all-time grails I hope to buy some day without having to do too much TLC (especially Frankie's white hair q-q). And if there was a way for me to get a physical copy of this specific diary alongside them I would pay good money for it, seriously. They're so supportive of each other, the little goobers! (9qHq)9

As much as I love their ship, I love it in a post-Jackson-and-Holt-coping-with-each-others-existence version, like give it a year or two and it'd probably be chill. It's like, they both care about each other a lot but there's a biiiig existential crisis that one of them's going through, so for now it's on pause. But as far as current/present canon is concerned, I do find they have the best interactions when they don't have to worry about others making assumptions about them and are just hanging out together. It's very sweet and it's why they're easily my favorite characters in the franchise (and Holt too, he just happens to not be here in the diary entry for obvious reasons). There's soooo many characters I love in the series, they just happen to give me the most dopamine haha!

But also I NEED to call out the bit where he says "I got so red I thought my hair might catch fire" because HOOOOOOO THE AU IDEAS I HAVE THAT LITTLE DETAILS LIKE THIS ONLY CONFIRMS 'cause I like to think he gets super flushed when he's embarrassed or panics and ESPECIALLY around Frankie cause he doesn't wanna make a fool out of himself around her and--and and my whole thing about him and Holt that I can't spoil for my future fic about it but I REAAAAALLY want to spoil aaAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH

Personal bits and pieces:

I saw A Strange Way of Life on Monday. I swear the whole thing felt about ten minutes long. The credits rolled and I was like no...it can't be over already?! But seriously, it's unbelievable. There is so much depth to both characters. The colours are amazing. Silva's soft eyes are something to behold on the big screen. I hope you all get a chance to see it very very soon!

Also a question for my followers that are Stateside; why is candy corn so divisive? I had some last night and it's...good? I can't pinpoint what exactly it's meant to taste like but I'm not mad at it!

I have a real love/hate relationship with Sundays. I kind of struggle to relax on Sundays because I get anxious about the week ahead. It's also hair washing day for me and it takes a long time. But I make an effort to drink some decent coffee on a Sunday so the good outweighs the bad, really.

I'm ready to start swinging at tumblr at this stage. I feel like I'm missing stuff when things on my for you should be on my following tab. And the notifications are still seemingly broken so I hope y'all see this.
