Well... It looks like we won't be seeing The Ahsoka, Sabine & Shin Stranded on Peridea Arc for the next 2-3 years...
And with this part of the fandom dimmering down a bit...
I have no choice...
*Cracks Knuckles*
I'm gonna TRY to write a continuation/novelisation of S1 with all of the knowledge of Star Wars that I have!😤 (Tags are what it'll be for the story)
I'm hoping i'll pull though this with the spare time I have!

There was something about seeing this scene for the first time in theaters with my heart on the line and just it was cinematography at its best and the intensity Adam brought to the scene was iconic. I miss my Kylo Ren ❤️🖤

Star Wars: Kylo Ren Blurb
Tumblr media
AN: I do not write for Star Wars but this will not leave my waking thoughts. It is ethereal and the ending Kylo deserves. I wish I understood the universe better so I can write a story with it, but I don’t. I could try but it wouldn’t be good. The poem is by Catarine Hancock, from Shades of Lovers.
Imagine. Kylo and you are standing on the throne of Exegol. You're both looking over the galaxy you've conquered. He is yours. You're his. Emperor and Empress. King and Queen. He looks at you; an expression in his eyes confesses his undying love for you. The passion casts a spell on you. You've never loved this man more than you do now. The force bond you share is so strong. It pulsates around you, spreading throughout the galaxy. The First Order stands strong, undefeated. But peace is found within its rule. You are that peace. Kylo's aggressive nature is balanced with your irenic nurturing.
"if you asked me to,
i would rip stars out of the sky
and slip them into your pockets.
if you needed it,
i would pull the salt from the ocean.
pour it into a shaker just for you.
i would give you the planets
on a silver platter.
whatever you desire.
just ask."
Kylo's voice echoes through your head.

I wonder if the star wars writers understand why we like characters like Anakin and Ben more than Luke and Leia..
They've spent nine movies now telling us that the rigidity of the Jedi/sith set up is the root of all their problems, how balance is crucial, how people aren't entirely one or the other, they're some ratio of both light and dark.
Deciding that Ben didn't get a chance to live after he finally sheds the last of his shame and fear and embraces himself is kinda silly no? The whole set up of the fight with palp was kinda silly no? Rey suddenly can't kill one very bad guy when she can whoosh whoosh a hundred faceless stormtroopers because then she might be haunted by/inherit some ghost dude??? Even though she ends up killing him anyway and isn't the sith reincarnated or something? What actually was the point of that fight? What was the point of Ben dying at that moment?
They spent the past couple movies talking about these supposed visions both Ben and Rey had about their futures together, so were they not visions, just dreams? Or did the writers just sort of give up on the concept of follow through? I thought the whole point of their COLLECTIVE journeys in this trilogy was overcoming their pasts and obstacles and then returning balance to the galaxy hand in hand? They did a whole thing about hands for three movies that was clearly important was it not?
But he dies, in her arms, after giving his entire life force to her, and she just moves on? Keep it chugging along? The other half of her is dead and she's gonna what? Be on the committee to restore peace to the galaxy? She's just gonna keep living, with a new love interest or whatever else they imagine? Like, realistically what is it they imagine comes next? That's not a happy or hopeful ending

@poewingsdameron: "Hello there." He hummed, pressing a sweet kiss to Armitage's lips, then another over his cheek and one more to his brow. He nuzzled closer as they snuggled, relishing the comfy warmth. "Had a good nap?"
Tumblr media
Armitage couldn't hold in the soft chuckle that slipped past his lips even if he'd wanted to— seafoam hues warm and soft as they took in the sight of Poe. Before fluttering shut once again. He echoed the others hum, shifting to press his forehead gently against Poe's. "It wasn't bad... though I certainly prefer being awake to sleeping."

I had to draw them in these, since "but I do" is literally one of Ben's iconic lines. I like to imagine that he's just shown up via forcebond wearing that and Rey is trying hard to ignore him 😂

it seems anakin and obiwan's separation and degregation into vader and ben kenobi literally made their bond even stronger, true dyad territory.
they needed to know not only one another's light, but one another's dark, too. two halves of a single warrior.
the very nature of being pulled apart by fate caused the force to just rage like this howling insatiable wind between them and demand they reconnect, reaching out across the galaxy and cementing their forcebond as this eternal, utterly fixed constant. they are supposed to be together. they are made together, they symbolize the fate of the galaxy, they are one.
it's like, woah.
if they were never pulled apart by palpatine's ultimate design and mechanizations at mustafar then perhaps their dyad never would have come to full fruition? as it has in text in OWK. connection across lightyears, sharing dreams and visions, literal need for closeness with one another.
and if it never came to full fruition, eternal togetherness despite mortal separation, symbolized by different sides in a war - maybe then they, (through Obiwan continuing to try to save/turn Vader through Luke) would have never been able to defeat the empire.
so basically haha palpatine! ya big loser. the force made these two as one and palpatine thought he could separate them and win... and the Force hit him back with boom dyad.

I think this question will be a little funny, but I would like to know your opinion. In the elevator scene in The Last Jedi, when Rey approaches Kylo/Ben and looks down (images here), do you think at that moment she looked at Ben's lips or at his chest?
Many reylo ships say that she was looking at Ben's lips, but looking at the images better, I think she was looking at his chest.
In addition to the film, the description of the third forcebond presented in the novelization shows the great effort that Rey made not to stare at Kylo/Ben's chest. The attraction between them is clear.
This time, she would make him answer for what he’d done.
“Why did you hate your father?” she demanded, the stopped.
“Oh!”
Kylo was stripped to the waist in his chambers. The angry scar she’d given him in their duel snaked down his face and neck and collarbone.
[...]
Rey forced herself to look into his eyes-those angry, haunted, needy eyes.
“I don’t believe you,” she said. “You’re going to–do you have a cowl or something that you can put on?”
Kylo ignored that and Rey made herself focus.
- The Last Jedi novel
What a most excellent question you bring up. 😏 and I haven’t thought too much about it before, so shame on me lol. I always just automatically assumed that gaze was directed at his lips. But yeah, upon looking closely at the trajectory, it really doesn’t seem like that’s what she’s focused on. (Not that she couldn’t also be looking at his lips, cuz she probably was at some point) And I mean, of course she’s focusing on his chest! It just makes sense! 😆 Cuz that scene with him shirtless was like, within hours before she saw him in person and they were in that elevator together. And as it’s made abundantly clear in the movie and the novelization quote you shared, she was heckin distracted by his bare chest!
So yeah, imo I’d say her focus was on his chest when she’s seen looking down in that scene. That’s gonna be my hc. And I say…

I wonder what ani and padmé would have been like as parents to Luke and Leia, and later grandparents to Ben. Like I don't have any great developed thoughts on that whole au concept I just do love the thought. Ben has so much impressive family, and a lot of uncles and aunts to look up to. If a lot of things had gone a lot differently, idk how, and padmé and ani got to grow older and stronger together, if Ben were to have his grandfather not only as a legend but as a person to hold him and tell him stories, I wonder what that would have been like.
#what if ben wants really badly to be a knight like his uncle is when hes young bc girls are gross or whatever and hes shy and awkward#so hes pretty sure hes never gonna be with anyone anyway#and then when hes almost 30 he meets rey and he has his oh moment#padmé was quite a bit older than anakin so it looks like ben will be more like his grandmother than he realized#rey actually is a nobody from nowhere bc duh#but despite her lack of etiquette training or politicking she fits in with princess leia like SO well and the fam loves her#especially when they start noticing the changes in ben... cripplingly shy and quiet ben is trying to woo rey and failing adorably#or so it seems. mostly because he doesnt come out and speak his intentions.. sure that a girl like her wouldnt actually want him#never mind that theyre dyads and they share a mind connection. he somehow finds a way to misinterpret her emotional responses#mostly because he has no measure for these things in his own life#but also.. neither does rey. and a lot of new stuff is happening in her life including suddenly having the force and a forcebond#with a prince of the galaxy of all people !! shes got some major imposter syndrome going on#oh maybe its also implied that she will be bens queen because of the forcebond from the time they find out so its SORT OF an arranged#marriage?? and she obviously senses his anxiety and trepidation and he clearly is willing to go through with it.. even trying to court her#but she thinks its better if they dont try bc the force may be saying they have to be together but she believes in making her own choices#and she actually thinks bens a nice guy and a good friend to have. but obviously she says this to him trying to make things better#tells him they should just be friends. she likes him and his family and is so grateful they accepted her but they should get to choose#so ben takes this with grace (lol) and he does agree to be her friend because its better than nothing right and everything about her is just#so captivating to him that he cant help but friendzone himself. but on the way to strengthening their bond and training together they grow#closer and the tension between them coils tightly. so rey TOLD ben they should have a choice and she doesn't want to go back on that#theyre still arranged to be married or perhaps they already are married but living separately. but still she doesnt want to make him think#shes fickle or ruin their friendship because she cant control herself. shes clearly confusing her feelings for his too (shes not)#and ben is majorly confused when he realizes that the affection he feels is returned at long last he doesnt know if he should confront her#or if he should be subtle about it. courting didnt seem to work last time but things are different now. he brings her gifts theres nothing#wrong with that. so he's picked up on gift giving but more personalized? and hes taking her on trips bc she wants to see different worlds#he already reads books about topics that interest her but now he gifts them to her or talks about those topics#and shes so determined to keep it to herself he realizes that he kisses her!! he feels so confident and assured in that moment. he knowswhat#he feels and he knows what she feels. theres no need to hold back any longer. he doesn't want to. ben takes her hand and goes before his#grandparents to ask for their blessing for marriage. everyone is pleased to finally be able to speak freely of them. ben and rey and both#overjoyed. theirs is the biggest most extravagant wedding in the galaxy. moreso than han and leias. everything is perfect

Story Summary: A time traveling Grandmaster, to the Prequel Era, trying to fix the mistakes the Jedi made, and get rid of a certain Sith too. Only Time Travel is not that easy, as Yoda will soon learn.
Hi all,
Today I published a new chapter to Time Travel: To the Past Yoda Goes. Below is a small selection. Please use the links above to read more.
Chapter 68- Darkness
30 Years ago:
Yoda looked up at the time-piece against the wall and sighed.
“Master, I won’t say I didn’t tell you this…” Dooku growled from the other side of the chamber.  “In fact, the whole council warned you about his fit as a padawan.”
Yoda tuned out his previous Padawan’s lectures, and he turned around the room to pace again.
Suddenly the door opened and a teenaged boy with dark skin, and long brown hair, fastened back in dreads, timidly walked in.  Unsurprisingly, he seemed to immediately sense the judgment from the masters in the room.
“Well, there you go then.  I’d love to stay for the grilling, but Qui-Gon will be taking his trials next week, and I promised him to help him prepare for it.”  Dooku made his excuses and quickly skedaddled from the room, making sure to glare at the boy before he left.
The other Masters soon did the same, and Yoda was alone with a youngling that refused to look up and give him eye contact.
“You’re angry, Master.  I know it was a risk, but if I'd had a few seconds more time, I could have made it work.  And then…”
“Angry, I am not… Disappointed, I am.”  Yoda corrected.  The boy’s face fell.  “Recovering from severe burns, two other Padawans are.  Included in their number you almost were.”
“But if Master Rancisis hadn't pulled me away, it wouldn't have exploded.” He sighed.  “I know everyone thinks I’ve fallen to the dark side, or that I’m flirting with it, or something.  But I haven’t.  I'm just tired of everyone waiting for me to fail.”
“Padawan Windu. With me, come.”  Yoda said, and the youngling looked up in surprise.
He followed Yoda down a seldom used lift to a part of the temple few Padawans had ever been to.  Technically it was a part of the Jedi Archives, if anyone looked at a temple floor plan.  But those who knew what it contained simply called it, ‘The Dark Vault.’
“Sense what, do you?”  Yoda asked.
“Power, there’s a lot of it down here.”  Mace answered.  “Hey, if we have all this, why don’t we ever use it?”
Yoda glared at his Padawan, and subtly used their new forcebond to remind him why they were having this conversation in the first place.
Mace shuffled a step back and corrected his wording, “I mean the Masters, of course.  The criminals wouldn't stand up to this being used against them.”
“Of the start of the Jedi-Sith Conflict, how much do you know?”  Yoda asked.
“Ancient history now,”  Yoda responded with a glare before the youngling could make a comment about his age.  “Uh, The Jedi were the original Force-users.  They used to use the whole force, light and dark, and…”
“What?”  Yoda asked.
“Huh?” Mace responded with.
“Original Force-users our predecessors were.  Distinguish between light and dark, they did not.   Because Dark yet, the force was not.”  Yoda paused to look up at his Padawan.  Mace looked even more confused than he usually did during a Force-Physics class when his instructor started ranting in Rybese.  “A time for living, all things have.  And a time to die and rejoin the Force, all things do as well.  Both, a part of the Living Force, it originally was.”
“So then what changed?” Mace wisely asked....

My complete rewrite of Episode IX
Things I would've done differently in a different Episode IX if it were directed by Rian most likely. I would title it The Spark Of Hope.
Instead of the Rey attempting to kill Ben on sight every time she sees him, imagine there was a timeskip instead and they are in a secret relationship via forcebond
Rey and Ben are tired of fighting, both in war and their conflict and realize the closest they were ever happy was when they were working with each other. They want to end the war and if they can't, run away together.
Leia is on her death bed due to her encounter in space and her one last wish would be to see her son
Something else I would've done differently, Poe becomes more like a Cassian who never met Jyn who becomes desperate to destroy The First Order no matter what the cost.
Hux reveals Ben's murder of Snoke and turns the entire First Order against him. Hux plans on a complete extinction of Force Sensitives and the death of the force.
Finn and Rose go on a crusade to free children who are abducted by The First Order
Poe and The Resistance turns on Rey after she tells everyone about her bond and relationship with Ben.
Basically the war is causing a wound in the force and Rey must save Ben and prevent Poe from worsening the wound and Ben must put an end to Hux once and for all while Finn and Rose work together to free the Stormtroopers
Ideally it would end with peace. Finn and Rose talks Poe down from killing Ben and Ben would then be put in a Anakin/Dooku situation from ROTS, he would then do what his grandfather could not do. Show mercy to his enemy. And declare. “I am a Jedi, like my mother and grandfather before me.” Hux is then taken to be tried and imprisoned for war crimes against the Galaxy. Poe and Ben signs a treaty to end the war.
Finn and Rose got married and Rose leads a sanctuary for all the children and animals who have lost their families due to the war and helps take care of them, but also Rose would lead an attack on arms dealers and war profiteers who have profited off the war and suffering of the galaxy. In time, Finn and Rose would bring relief and restoration to Hays Minor and together Finn and Rose Tico would return home and have a family.
Ben makes peace with Leia before her passing, and Rey and Ben leave everything behind while they begin their New Order and it ends with a kiss in the Falcon
