Hello welcome to Dating Scandal but with Twitter Involved (nightmare)

A little exposition here:

Link, Zelda, Sidon, Revali, and Riju are the most popular group of youtubers on the internet and have a huge fanbase that likes to theorize, draw fanart, and write fanfiction about them. Disclaimer, I don’t actually interact with real-person fandoms myself lol there’s just too much potential for drama and misunderstandings & they’re always bound to end in a dumpster fire but that is sort of what this au is about so.

Impa, Mipha, Daruk, and Urbosa are family friends that appear in a lot of their videos/streams.

“But it can’t be Zelda, Sidon’s gay.”

“I’m not in the fandom but I thought Zelda was a boy??”

“Did you just say Sidon? Is that a typo? Are you saying that Sidon’s dating himself?”

Sidon x Sidon became a fandom joke.

Don’t look at me I’m just setting up all the worldbuilding. every fandom has their weird dark sides and Sidon x Sidon is the Linkcest of the Sidon YT fandom.

Mystery BF is actually Bazz, a pretty inconspicuous guy who appeared in a few of his videos. This was confirmed a year ago, but everyone still ships him with other YouTubers because they’re convinced he was lying to throw them off his scent. He really can’t catch a break and this is why you should not ship real people.

He kept popping up in link’s Twitter threads and making snarky comments until zelda called him out for not even following link (so why was he stalking his acc) which kept the Twitter drama to a minimum

Revali was the catalyst of a few popular memes and that’s where most of his subs come from.

@ ihaveamotorcycle because she thinks having a motorcycle is a personality trait. the most unruly on Twitter when it comes to replying to fan’s stuff, leaking upcoming videos and generally causing chaos.

Mipha’s girlfriend. That’s how she met Zelda and Link.

Urbosa:

Is actually a model, but she has a ton of YouTuber friends because she’s known Zelda since birth.

when she entered the youtube community she didn’t realize she would be adopting like 15 children

Just a friend of Link’s, fun guy. yells a lot. once ate a rock and had no reaction.

she also does reactions and is sponsored by save the sand seals charities which she is very enthusiastic about. She’s also Urbosa’s niece and the only minor in the gang (15). I like to think that the champions YT community is actually not creepy so everyone respects her a ton

doesn’t post frequently, she mostly appears in Link’s videos to jump out of airplanes or whatever. And sometimes Zelda’s if she’s interested in the topic. 500k subs, but she’s always really popular when she appears in Link’s videos.

VidCon:

In the months leading up to VidCon, some fans on the internet made a few discoveries: first of all, that the inside of Link’s house is painted green. This is a big deal because all of his videos are filmed outside either in his backyard or on trips that he and the brosquad go on to do…whatever bros do. explosions. idk. The point is he had some announcement about VidCon and filmed it inside. Only the wall and a potted plant were shown.

However, the colour was similar to the the shade of Zelda’s living room. Fans dug through years and years of old videos and found a clip of Zelda walking through a hallway, where there was an open door and a glimpse of a houseplant.

There were 2 types of responses to the theory:

“They could just be roommates guys calm down”

“and they were ROOMMATES?”

others pointed out that Link could just not have a house and had to crash in Zelda’s

Some guy on reddit claimed he had a botany degree and declared that the houseplants in the clips were not of the same genus. Normal people pointed out that the plant would have grown 4 years between the clips and would look considerably different.

#Zelink trended on twitter for a while and people posted other old clips from both of their channels and the frog video blew up again

Impa retweeted a post tagged as #zelink with “rofl” and later publicly apologized for causing confusion.

Fans noticed that in the “can a motorcycle drive over my arm” (it was clickbait he’s fine) episode 2 years ago, Link was eating out of a paper lunch bag with his name written on it in handwriting that a few people claimed to look like Zelda’s, leading people to believe that she had packed him a lunch.

However, this theory was shot down with the counterargument that Zelda can’t cook. although. i mean how much skill do you need to make a sandwich.

No one knows what tumblr is doing at this time

Zelda wore a scarf in her “Save the Sand Seals” video that matched identically to the scarf Link wore when he travelled to Hebra to film a shield surfing video, but it’s been debated wether it’s actually the same scarf or not.

Neither Zelda nor Link has spoken up about the theories, and besides Impa’s one slip on twitter, neither has any of their friends. Zelda received a lot of backlash for the assumption that she was dating Link because he has a lot of delusional fans that didn’t want her to “steal their man” or whatever the hell that type of fan would get mad about

Oh yea and bolson & karson run a zelink fanpage on twitter sorry I forgot about that

after that whole mess, everyone was even more anticipant of VidCon in the hopes that some of their questions would be answered.

The whole batch went to VidCon this year: Link, Impa, Daruk, and Riju are a gang while Sidon and Mipha go together and Zelda & Revali each go separately. Urbosa is there for supervision moral support

Zelda has always been much better at dodging questions that she doesn’t want to answer than anyone else, so her Q&A went without a hitch. When asked to confirm the rumours she said “which one?” and then moved on to the next question (without actually confirming any rumours).

Link is generally a more awkward person but eventually said that he had filmed the video in Zelda’s house because it was nicer and didn’t realize it would cause such an uproar. Fans were disappointed, but Bolson claimed he saw Link and Zelda exiting the hotel elevator on the same floor after Link’s Q&A session. No one believed him.

Fans went back to theorizing over who Link, Zelda, and Sidon were all dating, because apparently they can’t just be dating unknown people and have to be with other YouTubers

Sidon and Bazz got engaged about a week after VidCon, making at least 4 preteen girls cry

actually try 4 million

Sidon x Sidon made a brief comeback but Sidon spoke up about his fandom for the first time ever on twitter and told everyone that no, he was not dating himself. eventually, everyone settled down and accepted that none of them were in a relationship save for a few loud fans.

Link and Zelda still got the occasional “when will you tell us who you’re dating?” comment but most of them were joking and the people who still hardcore shipped them were generally frowned upon. Zelda’s popularity went up after VidCon and she regained the 200k subscribers she’d lost after the first theory dropped.

Two months after VidCon, Link posted a video titled “Zelda and I’s House Tour!” and gave around 45 million people a heart attack

as revealed in the video, they had actually been dating since they were 16 and everyone’s just a fool.

Uhhhh ok imma be real with you chief you probably should've led with the question about "first eurovision watched" because the answer to that is... 2019. Sort of. I got to see who won 😂 so my knowledge of the contest is limited to 2009, 2018, sort of 2019, 2020, and now 2021, with some random winners/straight bops thrown in from other years. 1. why did you choose your url?

I thought I was being clever changing up my main url and following Coleson -> son of Cole pattern. And the fics I read are scrumptious like bread. I am the fox that devours them, yum.

2. any sideblogs? if you have them, name them and why you have them?

This is a side blog, FoxyBread is my main. Originally made it to keep track of blogs I liked.

I used to queue everything on my likes but then I stared liking too much so I just reblog when I like it now. I got the reposts I am putting up set up on a queue right now, but that’s it.

5. why did you start your blog in the first place?

I made this blog to start reblogging fics I like. I was a ghost reader for a long time and took forever to build up courage to dm writers to tell them I love their work. I saw posts that reblogs help authors out so awhile after building up more courage I made this blog to share what I love reading. Honestly I’ve been so happy to make the plunge into this blog because I love seeing other people so happy when I tell them I love their work. If anyone is a ghost reader, I feel y’all, do your best to send bloggers some love. It can feel intimidating but once you get used to it super easy! this is an invitation to come say hi!

6. why did you choose your icon?

Because I’m weak for Chef Dude and he looks absolutely adorable. It was soon after I sent the meme to a friend “confused but in Australian”. I wanted my blog to display multiple groups too and not just BTS.

7. why did you choose your header?

My mobile header I photoshopped together myself. I wanted to display all the members in their beautiful glory. I think the style of thinly cut pictures put together is an interesting aesthetic too. My web main page header I wanted it to feel classy with some black and white pics of my favorite idols. The header on all other pages, I just love Sehun and Chanyeol and their attitude.

I took this as reblog creator works and not like reblog this or bad/good things happen oops. I never pay attention to those. For the reblog creator posts,I’m tired of seeing them but they are obviously here because a large number people aren’t reblogging. Just imagine if people reblogged more, then we wouldn’t need those posts anymore.

I do!! But only a couple awesome people answer them so I feel kinda dejected and don’t do them much even though I want to. Bless those who interact with asks, y’all are awesome.

I’d say the biggest writers I am mutuals with (on both blogs too, wow!) are @btssavedmylifeblr (sci-fi is amazing), @johobi (gaming writer wooo!), @xjoonchildx (fills the gangster hole in my heart and gets my random Zelda things)

who the heck is my muse anyway?

HOHO!!! For those who never touched The Legend of Zelda in their lives, I’m sure it’s pretty dang confusing to see more than one design of both Zelda and Link, I’ll try my best to explain this! The series follows a very, very convoluted timeline filled with plotholes, as such the Links and Zeldas we see throughout different titles of the game are actually reincarnations who are destined to seal away whatever darkness may threaten the lands known as Hyrule.

The Zelda I play as is the princess of Hyrule during a point in the timeline known as “Downfall Era” where the Hero of Time in OOT lost against Ganondorf in the final battle; Ocarina of Time is the reason for why there’s multiple timelines with each having their unique era depending on the choices in that game. The Downfall Era is known for having games known as A Link to The Past, Oracle of Seasons, Oracle of Time, Link’s Awakening, A Link Between Worlds, Triforce Heroes, The OG Legend of Zelda, Annnnd Adventure of Link! The Zelda I play as comes from A Link to The Past as well as the Oracle series and I guess Link’s Awakening despite having no appearance. The events of A Link to The Past and Oracle Series has deeply affected my Zellie in that she suffers from unspoken traumas as well depression. See, before the events of ALTTP there was a war known as the Imprisoning War, that war ended where the seven sages seal away Ganon. Peace reigned for a while until a series of plagues and droughts struck which affected the kingdom. It wasn’t until the antagonist of the game, a wizard by the name of Agahnim, would put an end to the misfortunate blighting Hyrule with his magic, gaining favor with the king. He was able to worm his way into court and from there act on his plans in breaking the seal to the sacred realm where the triforce and Ganon rest. Doing so, he must capture the seven maidens who are descendants of the seven sages and sacrifice them in order to break the seal and well, guess which princess happens to be one of those seven maidens? Suffice to say, he was successful in breaking the seal with Zelda being the final sacrifice. Here we find out that he’s actual the alter ego of Ganon (don’t question it too hard) and we also find out she’s not dead! Hooray! But she is trapped in a plane known as The Dark World, once the sacred realm corrupted by Ganon’s greed. So as all LOZ stories goes, Link saves the day. Happily ever after, right? Well... no, see unlike in the game where the ending is happy and everyone who died is alive I follow both the 90s comics and Himekawa manga where those who died in the games did not come back to life. This includes Zelda’s father, Link’s uncle and some of the maidens. It’s very bittersweet in that, the day is saved and Ganon is gone forever but at the cost of loved ones no longer coming back.

Well... Ganon comes back! In the oracle series! Two years after ALTTP, Twinrova tries to resurrect him by using the blood and body of Princess Zelda, meaning she can actually die this time around. But Link saves the day once again. Which leads us today, the main verse of the blog which is a year after Oracles and three years after ALTTP! NOTE: That my smash verse more or less follows this timeline I have in place for this blog.

things you should know

I sound like a broken record but. She’s a glass canon of sorts. Where she’s very powerful thanks to blood of the seven sages, the light force, and having hylia’s blood in her veins. As such, she’s very powerful and her magic super potent which is why so many people wanna sacrifice for dark rituals... BUT!! She has super power health issues that affects her magical stamina and body as such she can’t even use half her powerful magic and this upsets her greatly. It’s a small headcanon of mine because in the games and manga, she doesn’t really do much despite being a powerful magical princess. Keep in mind that ALTTP came out before the retcon that is Skyward Sword and before they decided to add more to Zelda’s abilities throughout the course of the series... so my brain went to: she’s powerful but can’t use magic too much due to poor health. It worked!! Before smash came along but I swear I’m not at all salty. To be fair, it was my fault for assuming things but imagine: glass canon Zelda. It sounded super cool at the time!

She represses a lot if only for the sake of her nation and to appear as a good leader for her people. As such, she’s almost always calm and has a gentle smile on her face despite radio static sounds resounding in her thoughts. Give her time, she’ll open up and show you her playful side!

She’s been surrounded by death considering before ALTTP, during ALTTP and kinda with Oracles if you count Twinrova, as well as having a connection with the spirit realm due to freaky PSI powers. So, she doesn’t really have a negative view on death and has actually gained that edgy romanticist view as the result of her life experiences. She’s very much someone who likes to live life to her fullest as the result... and well, it doesn’t help that she’s aware of her short life span thanks to her future vision. Something she won’t reveal to anyone more than likely as to not worry them. She’s more or less accepted her fate... speaking of which

She hates fate/destiny/etc but accepts whatever happens because again clairvoyance has proven that there’s no changing what’s been planned. So, she doesn’t bother fighting against it. But, what impresses her are those who manage to overcome destiny, something that Link does sometimes which is why she looks up to him. He’s that variable that the future can’t keep track of due to how ever changing he is.

She loves exploring creepy places, ruins, caves, and dungeons that are scattered throughout her kingdom, for both history and the spooky aesthetics of it! So if you see her outside the castle she’s more than likely getting ready to explore some spooky place. She’s almost always wearing her cloak but there are rare moments where she’s not either ;v; she’ll always go by the name Elle... worth mention she doesn’t bother hiding the mark of the triforce on her right hand.

Speaking of which, only people from the capital known as Castle Town and even some from Kakariko village as well know of the princess’ appearance. Various small towns throughout the land of Hyrule however, only remember her appearance from ALTTP where her hair was a more golden blonde rather than the platinum color that it’s taken from the various fear and stresses from her life. And also, she’s more freckly due to not wearing coverup when outside the castle. Ok well,,,,, here’s the best side by side comparison I have...

If you ask her what the light arrows are, she’ll look at you funny. She comes from a time where silver arrows are a thing :’) the few things that can defeat Ganon

Closet romantic, as in she loves love and wishes for a romance of her own but when it comes to her own feelings she’s an idiot due to repressing feelings.

what she’s been up to:

main verse: Which is during the events of Skyward Sword, as such she’s no longer in Skyloft nor does she have the full knowledge that she’s Hylia but Zelda is suspecting that there’s a connection there. She does not know how to wield her magic as it comes and goes in spurts. She’s seen throughout the Surface so she can be anywhere! Even in other timelines due to using the Gate of Time, we can just say that something screwed up causing for her to end up in another time period or even verse! LOZ series is pretty flexible in time travel.

where to find her:

Graveyard + Sanctuary: It’s a soothing place to visit and also to pay respects to the fallen in ALTTP.

One of the three provinces (my rendition of Hyrule is a little bigger than the in game map so don’t be afraid to add places that aren’t in ALTTP but in other titles, I know I tend to do): aka anywhere in the fields, she’s a woman plagued with wanderlust and doesn’t like being confined to one place

Kakariko: the villagers who know her true identity are hella nice to pretend that it’s not the princess but Elle! Guards tend to be here after a certain time though, so to avoid them she always avoids going to the village when it’s nearly sundown

Ruins, catacombs, abandon shrines etc: again she likes creepy or historical places or both!

Haunted Grove: Well... it’s haunted! So :’)

Castle: it’s possible to meet her here too! Whether as princess or someone sneaking either out of the castle or back into it.

Lead her kingdom to the Golden Age, something her father tried to do before his demise. While wishing to see Link once more.

PEOPLE WHO KNOW THAT SHE’S FROM A BLOODLINE OF A GODDESS AND SAGES DHSJAKJADB no one really knows that the royal family actually did descend from gods, unless your muse is an immortal and is aware of the events that goes on they shouldn’t know this fact. The only thing the public is aware of is how the royal family have mystical powers different from the population.

uhhhh that’s about it? Mostly metagaming pft, not too much bothers me now that I think about.

Yugioh S3 Ep 29-30: LAVA GOLEM

Ah, Kaiba island.

I’m not quite sure how big Kaiba island is. In this picture it looks like we got ourselves a 6 story building on the side, but if we compare the 6 story building to the tower it’s like...that’s a 100 story building, roughly? Our art team has given up trying to make this building look like anything other than what it looks like, and they’re just going to make a metallic cross-section of a dick every time it shows up.

Also, I kinda wish we saw a little bit more of the landing sequence to get here because....

....did we do an Akira motorcycle slide into this island or is that just me?

Meanwhile, as Joey is duking it out on the world’s largest, coldest dildo, Serenity is stationed at the post she made for herself.

LOL Why did they do this? Why would they design this?

Inside the swamp cloud, Marik is shocked that Joey has been largely unphased by this horrific experience.

Clearly Marik has not caught on that Joey’s been conditioned to this stuff living with Yugi for the past many years, and a little bit of pink spirit-sucking wires aren’t really much of a match for that time Joey saw Yugi light a guy on fire with a match once. Well, a lighter. Either way, this isn’t so bad.

And then, I don’t really talk about card games here, but Marik introduces a new card I have not seen before.

Behold, Lava Golem.

Look at him! Like I know everyone’s kinda freaking out about the new pokemon but like...Lava Golem? Remember that sweet face?

He’s just soooooo good.

Man this is the first Yugioh card ever that I’ve actually liked.

And, upon seeing this terrifying situation, Tea turns to Yugi and says:

Also during these few episodes, Marik is starting to undergo a transformation, mostly via his viens. It’s a look. Kind of worried about his blood pressure.

And I was thinking that they just invented a a chin vein, but, as it turns out, they actually did their research.

There is a vein there! I mean this isn’t really that big a deal to most of you, probably, but anime often gets a bad rap for ignoring anatomy (which ... it’s a cartoon so yeah that’s...that’s what you do in cartoons, you ignore most anatomy) but hey--they got this vein correct. I don’t know why they even bothered, but that was very nice of them to make something so gross so correct.

Is it just me? Is it just me that’s all ham about this Domo Kun face? This Mario mini-boss?

I usually don’t like the Yugioh monster designs but this one is just...he’s such a good boy.

Anyway, the art team was told at some point to change piss cloud and they decided to do this instead

Why does the width keep changing on the tower? Like I know it was tossed between different artists but like...it just...it keeps changing and it bothers me.

Anyway, back to what matters.

Can this be our new Joey Wheeler? Just leave everything about Joey Wheeler the same but replace his sprite with Lava Golem and with no explanation. I’d be down.

I do think that this arc brought back their A-team for the animation, there was just a lot more going on visually than we’ve had in a good while. Like this Marik face, for instance--this very famous face that I’ve seen drawn on like...a whole lot of characters. This is a much-referenced pose.

I mean, hey, not using reference while drawing is the same as dueling as Yugi Muto and just never using the Pharaoh. Like sure you could, but never, ever, ever do that.

And I just want you to know, I held that really corny anime art joke in for like a straight week on twitter as the entire world was going off about whether or not you’re supposed to use reference materials when you draw as if this is some sort of controversial topic (it’s not. No one cares about your process.) and y’all, it was HARD. But I did it. I resisted the discourse and still found a way to sneak it into here, into the side blog where I can go off about the inane art twitter discourse without getting blocked.

Which, again, was about “Can I use reference?” I...art twitter. Art twitter, I swear. why would you NOT? You have the Pharaoh, art twitter. You have the Pharaoh.

Anyway, I hope at least one of you got that joke. I hope one of you at least was like “lol--Art Reference is the Heart of the Cards.” and the next time someone tells you that using reference is cheating (which will never happen, a infinitesimal number of people in one forum on DeviantArt in 2003 said this once in the entire history of art, and I don’t know why twitter is fighting with these child-run forums that don’t even exist anymore) you can say “Don’t you dare talk about my platonic soulmate that way.” and just end the argument there.

The hell are these people who say artists don’t use reference? Do you write history papers without reading books?

And that’s my rant that was a.) too long for twitter and also b.) maybe too much anime. With art twitter it’s like..there’s no middle ground between too much anime and not enough anime. No middle ground and I have no idea where the people who follow me even stand. I think they just want to see Zelda. I think that’s about it. I really can’t tell with them. I’m like...always confused as to what those people want.

I need to delete my twitter. Anyways, back to Joey, who felt like breaking the fourth wall.

And so Marik decides to sober up and play the God card.

Yo guys, remember God Cards? I’ll be honest, I kinda completely forgot about them.

And then at some point this shot happened and I was living for it.

such a good idea to offset people in a different filter and kinda stack em. Bro was saying he remembered this sort of thing in Cowboy Bebop but I don’t remember what the hell he’s talking about. Bro and his spicy headcanons are mixing up Yugioh and Cowboy Bebop now. Never thought I’d see that.

And then Kaiba’s muscles kinda twitched and it looked like smiling.

Man, were there a lot of phoenix references in the 00′s or is that just me who read way too much Harry Potter?

And like, because I do draw Yugi sometimes, occasionally people will reblog and tag with Pharaoh’s real name in there (I can’t really avoid that spoiler), so I think it’s pretty likely his name comes from Atum of Egyptian legend. Who...wasn’t really a Pharaoh. Atum was kinda weird, he gave birth to...himself. He’s an interesting read. But, we’ll get there when we get there.

But, I didn’t really know about Bennu pyramids until I actually went and looked up Egyptian Phoenixes. I had always thought that the Phoenix was Greek in origin but, according to Wikipedia some people say it happened in Egypt as well. And if it’s good enough for Wikipedia, it’s good enough for Yugioh.

The return of the mystery purple moisturizer jug and it brought it’s entire extended family of fiji waters.

And so, Ishizu decides to do the right thing and take care of Mai. Not sure what Ishizu knows about being a nurse since she lived underground, but since she can help cure poisonous snake bites, maybe comas are a little bit easier?

And so Serenity starts the 30 minute jog up the phallic tower to get to Joey’s death sequence. She’s made it to about...20 ft outside of the plane by the end of this episode. Serenity runs kinda slow.

Bro mentioned that he thinks it looks like Tea’s trying to very stealthily steal Yugi’s wallet. And that’s just my spicy headcanon now, too.

Well now that’s over, lemme see if...

.......it could’ve happened. It only has like a couple of human skulls on it.

10. Dream trip: Considering I somehow became the heir to Scrooge McDuck fortune or something, I guess I would visit France along two or three friends. A trip is nice and all, but having someone to share it with is what makes it really magical X3..

If not, a librarian; I may not read a lot, but my neatness would keep a library in perfect order. Sadly, both of those require a master’s degree and I can only go the distance so far... Kingdom Hearts: Traveling through various Disney worlds, living in Daybreak town, trying to unravel the secrets of the universe, fighting heartless and more importantly, a way to be in The Grid without taking a slot on this list. Yeah, I would love to do that, please XD..

Animal Crossing: Literally a tiny paradise, filled with friendly animals and plenty of things to do. Sometimes I still pop the game open just to take a virtual coffee and see the ocean. It really feels like a break from reality, and to live in such a serene world would be a bliss <3.

Any Tales world: A place where magic exists, the world seems ever expanding, and everything ain’t as black and white as in other video games. Sometimes we are forced to fight, sometimes the bad guys have good intentions, but we can always count on the good times, the jokes, looking awesome and drama, drama galore XD.

7. Hours of sleep: this is incredibly inconsistent. Right now while I’m on disability my sleep schedule is all messed up, and I’ve been sleeping maybe 6 hours, waking up and scrolling through social media, then after a few hours falling asleep for another 2-3 hours.

8. Dogs or cats: cats!

9. Number of blankets: Right now in the winter, depending how effectively the heater is working...six. Often in the middle of the night I have to throw all or most of them off.

10. Dream trip: a literary walking tour of Paris.

34. Top three fictional universes I’d like to join: Middle Earth, Forgotten Realms, Tal’Dorei. The second two definitely inherited a lot from Middle Earth...but I feel like they have more room for diversity, queerness, and women as powerful and independent adventurers. And more modern styles of humor and sarcasm, lol. But Tolkien runs deep with me.

Nickname(s): I don’t really have one. I remember a friend telling me years ago that I looked like a Molly, but that never stuck. Although I've started calling myself “blue” online a bit, so I guess that’s one! OH, or people will just call me Mary because they don’t realize that my first two names are just my first name. I don’t have a middle name, just a two-name first name. It’s confusing. (Best Buy calls me Marry when they send me emails and it’s hilarious and the only reason I haven’t unsubscribed from the mailing list yet.)

Last Thing I Googled: Various versions of “how the fuck do I use Greenstone” (a program for creating digital library type things). I got a bunch of links to articles I’d have to pay for and a seminar I could attend. Google failed me.

Favorite Artist: That is... quite a question. All the different kinds of artists? I like Degas because my mom likes Degas and I painted a picture of one of his sculptures for art class. I know there are more, but I’m terrible about remembering the names of the artists. If we’re including other art forms, I could spend a really long time talking about the different poets and writers I love. Like, an awkwardly long time. I still have most of my english textbooks from my first round of college. (And if we’re talking music, that’s a grab-bag of random genres even on a good day.)

Song Stuck in My Head: Who Did That to You by Shawn James & the Shapeshifters. I was sent to it by SoundCloud after listening to a song included on fanart of Lup, and it is also fitting for Lup. Plus it’s great “get pumped” music.

Last Movie I Saw: I think it was Wonder Woman? Pretty sure. GREAT movie, I really enjoyed it. It sounds like everyone else did, too! I have higher hopes for the future of superhero movies than I did previously.

Why Did I Choose My URL: It’s not the best story. Before shit hit the fan, mentally, I had a lot of nights where I felt unusually low. I called them “blue moods” and figured I’d just deal with them until they went away. This blog was one of those ways of dealing with them - it was more anonymous than my last blog so I felt freer while using it, and I decided to use it to publish fanfiction instead of letting my ideas collect dust hidden away in a folder. The blog didn’t stop everything that came next, but I’ve had wonderful experiences because of it.

What Did My Last Relationship Teach Me: OH BOY, yeah, the last one... a few things, I guess? I guess, mostly, that it’s good to know what you want from a relationship before you get into it. Also, communication is a good thing. Uh. And, even if the person is very nice and cooks you lentils (even though you hate lentils) you don’t need to feel obligated to stick with it if you’re not feeling it.

(Plus give yourself some years to grow because you might Discover Things about yourself that are Illuminating.)

And a bonus lesson, learned vicariously through my date: if you have a story about a horse dying a horrible death (I will not specify, none of you want to know I promise), don’t tell it to your date. Especially when you’re taking your date to dinner, but also not ever. This shouldn’t even need to be said.

Religious or Spiritual: Um, solid mix of both? Went to Catholic school for a lot of years, was in choir for a lot more years, but it’s... I don’t know, more of a casual thing to me? I like to think about the big questions, at least. I’m more of a personal meditation type.

Favorite Color: Purple!

Average Hours of Sleep: Pffft, not enough probably. A few hours...

Lucky Number: Kind of out of nowhere, but I like the number 4. That seems like a very solid, very me number... no particular reason for that, though.

Favorite Character(s): We’re asking the real questions today. I’m gonna miss a whole bunch, I’m sure... The main trio from hp, Sissel, Lynne, and Missle, Artemis Fowl and Holly Short, Jack, Elizabeth, and Booker (and the Lutece twins I GUESS), Taako and Lup and pretty much every other character on that show. Frisk (and all of the others let’s be real). Many, many iterations of Link and Zelda but a special place in my heart for Midna. Cecil and Carlos. Aziraphale and Crowley and the whole crew. And, of course, all of my own children who I love equally (but especially Ru) because a parent is not supposed to have favorites.

Dream Job(s): Dream job time! So here’s the plan - somehow survive graduate school and also graduate, escape school forever (and I MEAN IT this time), find a job at a library or a museum or an archive I actually don’t care as long as the people are cool and the hours are relatively predictable. Have a decently comfortable place to live with all of the amenities (such as electricity and internet) and spend my spare time writing. Hopefully publish many books someday, but honestly if I just have writing time consistently and a fairly comfortable life I’m good. If no one will publish me I’ll just publish them myself online somehow, why the fuck not.

Favorite Fruit: uh what’s it called in english..blackberries, blueberries.. just berries in general cause I’m allergic pretty much all stone fruits (apples, mangos, avocado, peaches, pears etc.)

Favorite Season: I like summer here cause the sun doesn’t set so it’s bright outside 24/7 which is unique and fun but also very confusing sometimes. Autumn is pretty too, hate spring cause I have pollen allergy but it’s not as bad as it used to be and winter fucking sucks, anyone who doesn’t live in the north and is like “wow snow is so pretty and nice I wish it would snow alot more here!!” is gonna regret it when you live in 90% darkness and face biting cold that numbs you. Favorite fictional character: wtf how can you narrow it down to one person that’s insane, but I’m usually a fan of overconfident assholes that look down on people and love every second of what they’re doing who are also very stylish while doing it like Jhin (LoL), Cassiopeia (LoL), Fiora (LoL), Dio (JoJo) and Bayonetta/Dante/Mistral. Johnny from Steel Ball Run is also a favorite of mine but for other reasons, I really like Ringo Roadagain too. Maiev from Warcraft too cause I love the “Warden” theme. Some angsty revenge (not Sasuke) characters are nice too like Kurapika (HxH) and Diana (LoL). Everybody loves a good underdog character too. Chaotic neutral characters is great. Berserk has some characters I love too. I haven’t played Nier Automata yet cause I’m saving myself that for later. But I played Nier 1 long ago and there was good characters there too like Devola & Popola or Kaine (and her grandmother). Paladins and Priests in rpg settings are also something I really like, the whole “RETRIBUTION, COMDEMN, ANGELIC LIGHT POWERS, THE LAW” kit but with human elements so they gotta question if what they’re doing it right while wearing some regal armor or extremely detailed embroided clothing. And of course monster characters in general, but I’m very specific how I like them and which of them are good/bad. Very long answer but this shit is something I can’t answer in one sentence and I have time to kill now so why not go on a small rant. OH PS, I LOVE CIARAN FROM DARK SOULS. Speaking of Ciaran, Sheik was someone I used to love too and speaking of Zelda Gerudos girls are pretty amazing. There’s probably more that I can’t think of right now. Number of blankets you sleep with: uh blankets? those cozy thin covers you wear when it’s kinda chilly outside during a summer night with friends? in bed? none.
