Poetry 🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭 (though that’s response was longer than I what I wanted and now I am almost late for work bc my ass brain had to be like: 😔🥺🥺🥺 hm make it Soft) fluff is hard for me to write and it’s something I need to improve on but it’s nice to see a soft soft side of my baby. I like writing her in love. Just be warned: she is one hundred percent going to come at your muse like a wrecking ball, she has cunning tactics to hold hands and be close whenever. And since she’s pretty subdued with showing her thoughts you have to both read between the lines and her body language. Sucks for those who are dense but it’s cool bc she will be outright then. "Aha, birds of a feather as they say," said she cryptically, with a gentle smile playing upon blue lips. Taking his hands into her own, she'd tilt her head, and though subdued, there was a glint of eagerness that entered her gaze. "Please? Might you be so kind to let me dance with you, Raguna?"

Here, nestled in the charming village of Kakariko, there was an air of merriment that encompassed the town. The harvest festival was in full swing, and even with the haunting moon that hung so beautifully in the night skies, the party persisted. There was an overwhelmingly big difference between the elegant balls thrown by nobles and the fun festivals the common folk celebrated. And it should go without saying which one the princess preferred.

She relished her afternoon with Raguna, enjoying each and every fun activity with him. When outside the walls, she felt so free and sweet Raguna only deepened that feeling. The princess could not hope to understand why that is, but with him, she felt comfortable. His relaxed demeanor lulled her to his beat. She does not reveal this to him, of course. Yet any chance she gets, the princess gladly allowed his warmness to wash over her. So now, after seeing the townsfolk gathering around the square and dancing to the upbeat music, she'd wanted to end the day with something that would remain in her heart. Though she does not show this, the princess was dispirited by his hesitancy with dancing. She wanted to share the fun with Raguna and all while using this as an excuse to be within close proximity. She can be both cunning and relentless when it came to him, in her own ambiguous ways. However, she vaguely came to an understanding as to why he reacted with doubt.

"If you are worried about your skills, then worry no more, dear Raguna. I lack confidence in my own skills," the blonde confessed. And this was true because she only knew of the stiff rules that the ballroom went by. The uninhabited dancing the townsfolk were currently engaged in was new territory for her. But something she'd wanted to try with Raguna by her side. The blonde felt as though they can both take on the world together. She gives his hand a reassuring squeeze. "Now I ask once more: shall we be fools together? It matters not how proper our steps must be, so long as we have fun together, that's all that matters to me."

Zelda finally lets go of his hands, soothing heat escaping her like grains of sand slipping through the cracks of her cold fingers. She takes a few steps away from the square. Looking over her shoulder, her lips had yet to forgo that smile of hers. She didn't want to show her dismay. Not to him. And not during a day that she'll forever remember with fondness.

"However, if you are still feeling reluctant, we can end our night with something else."

ALT.T.P backstory is pretty interesting and crucial for how I play my lovely princess. The imprisoning war happened far before she was even born, and she was born during the centuries of peace when that war happened. Here’s the thing: the war did damage to the lands and remnants of it still remains in the form of abandoned places of worship and the monsters crossing over from the dark world. There was no war going on, yes, but it wasn’t completely safe and sound. Now, when she was born the beginning of the pestilence started. Her mother died from the disease that ran around for a bit before it died down. Since losing his wife from the disease, and how Zel has very delicate constitution, she grew up in a cloistered household out of protection for his only daughter and heir. She didn’t have too many friends growing up, Impa was as close as she got with that as well as the oracles. With the maidens, she was familiar enough with them, but not exactly close. It wasn’t until she was around 16 where not only the epidemic returned, but also famine would begin to start and soon struck the lands. As you can imagine, lots of death happened during this time. Yadda yadda, Agahnim mysteriously showed up and magically solved the problem with, uh magic, and Zel suspecting that he had something to do with it, him somehow taking over the throne, killing the king, then imprisoning Zel to break the seal, Link saving the lands. Yes, yes, we know about this. But, Agahnim taking away her only family she had plunged Zel to a deep depression. Part of the reason why she wears darker shades of blue now is because she’s silently mourning the loss of her family, if she were to wear black she believes it might worry others and show how she’s still affected by this. As said in her profile, she represses all emotions and desires to appear as a calm yet confident and strong for the sake of her people. Emotionally, though she has silent determination and is very hopeful/carries faith in others, when it comes to herself she’s pretty fragile. Having zero friends or people to confide in does that haha.

Also, the whole ordeal where Agahnim had complete power over the king is why she’s very cautious around nobles and people of higher power. Agahnim is not the only one who’d fight for the throne nor will he be the last person. They’re not to be trusted, they can and will stab you behind the back in the name of the crown and possessing the rumored golden power the royal family has hidden away. She had to develop deep cunning and learn how to lie.

The Elle guise comes from her wanting at least a taste of what life outside of the castle is like, and running from the brutal court. It’s a rare moment where she doesn’t have to repress... too much, that is. She still does.

TLDR: Quiet, depressed princess who grew up in strict and lonely environment just wants a simple life hence why she is the way she is in how I write her <3

Sorry to say, one ask is all I can do until I get home. Saturdays are my hump days though since Monday’s are my Fridays... and Thursdays are my Mondays haha! Before I go quick question and be honest: writing yay or nay? It’s been a while since I rp so I am rusty as hell on this. While I’m slowly finding muse for princess elf, and I’m loving her once again, I worry both writing and characterization is off as the result of taking a long break from writing. It was easy to lie. It hung around the upper class for sharp tongues to weave falsities best suited for them. And that alone served as enough reason for the princess to play wallflower tonight during the spring festivities dedicated to the goddess of courage. She tried her desire to join the merriment for isolation if only to protect herself. Because for her, it was exhausting to see that ambitious yet cunning glint in nearly every nobles' eyes as they see events such as balls as an opportune moment to seize power from the princess. Today was a day meant for celebrations as the seasons' turn, not coveting the powers of others. Therefore, she'd avoided all of her guests tonight. Whether it was an invitation for dancing or conversations, lies would drip from smiling painted lips. And here she was, outside where the moon smiled down at her from the night skies. Though Kaleb's intentions may be well-meaning, there was a chance that they were not.

"It is alright, I prefer to watch from afar. Seeing others happy and having fun is enough for me." She said. And it was true, though she wished she could dance and talk with her people, she does not. "I am fine with being on my own, I am more than used to it by now aha...! Please, do not worry about me, dear Kaleb. Enjoy the party, spring equinox is a joyous occasion worth celebrating over...!"
