"Sauron was become now a sorcerer of dreadful power, master of shadows and of phantoms, foul in wisdom, cruel in strength, misshaping what he touched, twisting what he ruled, lord of werewolves; his dominion was torment."
Revealed
"Then Sauron stripped from them their disguise, and they stood before him naked and afraid. But though their kinds were revealed, Sauron could not discover their names or their purposes."
Gaze of the Balrog
Finrod Felagund
Finrod, also known fully as Finrod Felagund, was a Ñoldorin Elf who was born in Aman, He was King of Nargothrond and the eldest son of Finarfin and Eärwen, and the brother of Galadriel, Angrod and Aegnor. Finrod was one of the noblest elves of the House of Finarfin and a friend of Men.
Finrod` oarth to Barahir
"It was Barahir of the House of Bëor who saved his life, and Finrod swore an oath of abiding friendship and aid in every need to Barahir and all his kin. As a token he gave Barahir his ring, which became known as the Ring of Barahir."
Minas Tirith of Beleriand
Minas Tirith was the tower on the island of Tol Sirion that guarded the Pass of Sirion. It was built by Finrod Felagund to prevent the forces of Morgoth from invading Beleriand from the plains of Ard-galen.
Isle of Werewolves
After Finrod built Nargothrond, he handed over control of the watchtower of Minas Tirith to his nephew, Orodreth, before it was captured by Sauron and renamed Tol-in-Gaurhoth, the "Isle of Werewolves".
“Now men awoke and listened to Felagund as he harped and sang, and each
thought that he was in some fair dream, until he saw that his fellows were awake also beside him; but they did not speak or stir while Felagund still played, because of the beauty of the music and the wonder of the song.”

Finrod! I was excited to get to draw him, I've been playing with this idea for awhile, thanks for the suggestion @silmarillionno! I definitely want to do other pieces in the future with him.
Next up so sketches from The Children of Hurin. I'll be a bit busy the next two days, but I plan to have them up Saturday night/ Sunday if all goes well.
They buried the body of Felagund upon the hill-top of his own isle, and it was clean again; and the green grave of Finrod Finarfin's son, fairest of all the princes of the Elves, remained inviolate, until the land was changed and broken, and foundered under destroying seas.
If I had a nickle for everytime I found an awesome musical rendition of the battle of Finrod and Sauron I'd have three nickles, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened three times.
Sitting for the statue was a nightmare of epic proportions. The sculptor who worked with him for countless hours, sketching, telling him to pose – and finally, asking him to shed his clothing – had been uncomfortable as Finrod bared his scars: a gruesome, massive burst of scar tissue by his stomach, then three deep gouges extending diagonally up his chest – the remnants of the werewolf’s claws. The sculptor, during the first few sessions, averted his gaze – from the scars and Finrod’s relentless stare, the stare daring him to comment, to ask the questions never uttered out loud.
He knows Tirion buzzed with gossip about his perceived ‘state’, both mental and physical. The scars are a favorite topic, he knows – speculations about his death, and the events leading up to the said death. It brought a fresh wave of discrimination against the people of Fëanor that remained behind, and against Nerdanel, who also had chosen to be left behind.
Arafinwë and Eärwen liked for him to resume his place – or else settle into his new exalted position: that of the heir of the High King of the Noldor in Valinor. A prestige that, perhaps in another life, he would have welcomed. But he had owned renown already, and in lands that mattered, in struggles that, to him, mattered. He had been King in his own right; sat on his throne that he won at the tip of a sword as much as from the tip of his tongue in diplomatic negotiations. The throne in Aman was not earned; it was passed, the seat kept warm until the incumbent occupant tired of it and decided to pass it on.

Finrod is somewhat gifted with foresight, and what’s more, he has lived in proximity to these people for most of his adult life, but even so, it is a surprise when they show up on the doorstep to his private chambers, minutes before he is set to leave them for the last time.
