no but the tone of kenobi feels so refreshing?  just it’s such a love letter to prequel and clone wars fans.  it feels so good?  to have star wars content that feels truly motivated by story telling and caring about the fans...i feel like the mandalorian has also captured this feeling of general care and passion for this silly world so many people fell in love with.  but kenobi especially,  i don’t know how to explain but i just keep going this is how it feels to have star wars content again created by people who actually care about us

I'm dying thinking about the fact that Matt probably disliked the romantic association of mlvn at the snow ball so much that he literally made it so El found Max / fought Vecna at the snow ball...in order to move the ongoing association away from mike & el and toward it being Max's "most special" memory.

LIKE?!? As of S4, the Snow Ball is now and forever tainted by association with Max's death...no matter who you ship. The primary positive "romantic" moment past S1 (aka ones not also associated with mlvn annoying the shit out of their friends, breaking up or fighting) is now...dead Max, both for the audience and for El, on top of never being referred to as a romantic moment for Mike and El in either of their memories or ongoing narratives again.

I'm lowkey starting to think Matt conceded early on to Mike & El becoming a couple....and then grew to loathe how much the fans misread its intention after the fact, cause the level of undermining they've put into mlvn every season since says nothing but "I will undo something that shouldn't have been allowed in the first place."

Combined with the fact that the kiss was also a suggestion by Millie for herself and the fans? LMFAO. Matt has definitely questioned his life choices every moment since the Snow Ball kiss, because this is not the face of a man thrilled about a plotpoint lmao
