what’s fairy light? It sounds cool!

I just made a long ass post about one of the characters, if you wanna check that out, and I talk about a few of the concepts in Fairy Light there.

Fairy Light is an OLD oc story of mine, in fact the oldest surviving one right now lol. Came about late 2017/early 2018 if I recall, though I started revamping it about 2 years ago.

It initially came from my love of 'heroes and villains have to band together to defeat an even bigger bad and maybe they become buddies along the way.' Which I still love btw lmao.

Magic and supernatural abilities is a staple of this whole world, but the story is basically about Fairy Light, a city known for being full of superhumans and magic. This city is in the desert, and well known for being a little weird and wrong. It follows several superheroes and villains and other vigilantes (where superpowers are defined by magic), specifically my silly little crew of 6 (2 19 year olds and the adult ass weirdo men they've somehow acquired). Strange shady happenings are going on in the city, not the typical sort of strange, and when things start to very rapidly turn bad its up to them (and a few sideshow ass characters like Ansaldo) to figure out what the fuck is going on and save the city

I don't really have like. A specific linear story, just characters and a lot of concepts and ideas of what goes down. But the main thing is to follow Janna, a new young hero, while she realizes that her city is in danger, and the people she looked up to turn out to not be so great after all. She acquires many goofy companions along the way and also goes through The Agonies <3

There's a Lot of little side stories and details I have on a bunch of different characters, bc i love focusing on side things rather than the main plot lmao, so feel free to ask about them, I can throw in a quick list.
