Merlin teaches Sherlock (and Mololy, who is related to Morgana le Fay) magic? Molly is a vampire from day 1 of the Sherlock series? John Watson and Annabelle Fritton (from the St. Trinian's duology) are stepsiblings? Spirk in the X-Files universe? I've been writing for almost 26 years now, there's not a lot of stuff I haven't given a try at least once (except omegaverse).
39. Weirdest character concept you’ve ever had: Mycroft and Sherlock as fae royalty, who get mixed up in Molly's civilian, non-magic life.
40. Share some backstory for one of your characters: Pulling this from my "Stuff of Improbable Legends" RPG AU: James Fucking McCoy, everyone. Originally the younger son of Leonard McCoy and Molly Hooper in his timeline, he gets sent to the past with his older sister and gets a do-over with all the horrific shit he went through. First off, the ex-girlfriend who tried to entrap him in marriage for a child that wasn't his isn't in the picture yet, and he works through a lot of his relationship issues by dating Zoe Sage...someone who used to babysit him in his timeline. Then through magical time travel shenanigans, said ex comes back, gives birth to the daughter, and Klaus Michaelson makes damn sure she gives the girl to James to take care of for however long they share the timeline...except when all the baddies from the past/future disappear, his daughter Desiree stays, so he gets to be an amazing single dad with the daughter he always wanted to raise but was never able to. And then, because life loves to fuck with him, he watches his parents get married in a whole different way at a whole different time, which somehow results in his mom giving birth to him and his sister as twins in this AU. But hey! Him and his dad get along so much better, and James is no longer a fucking mess. He's a happy person, bless him. And now I want to write more with him...
43. What do you do if/when characters don’t follow the outline? My outlines are more like vague smudges on a page that makes something like a timeline, so if my characters deviate I just let them.
47. Best way to procrastinate: Get lost in a research rabbit hole.
48. What’s the most self-insert character/scene you’ve ever written? I have an ENTIRE Buffyverse series that is my "ideal persona" dating Spike. It's not up on AO3 since I can't find it in its entirety, but yeah. It's called "The Giles Saga" and was born out of a RPG I was in at the time.
49. Which character would you most want to be friends with, if they were real? Molly Hooper, hands down.

And like I said, @fadeddreaming asked for the old school stuff, so here you go on one of my fave franchises.
Favorite Male Character Respectively by show: Greg or Nick, Ryan or Delko or Hagen, Flack or Marty ::fumes about Hagen and Marty::
Favorite Female Character Catherine or Sofia or Lady Heather, Calleigh or Alexx, Angell or Aiden
Least Favorite Character In all the shows that would be Horatio Caine after season 3
Favorite Ship Aside from my sheer multitude of inter-show ones? Greg/Sofia and Hodges/Wendy, Ryan/Calleigh and Flack/Angell. I do also have crossover within the franchise faves (the big ones are Greg/Lindsay and Danny/Calleigh) and outside the franchise (one day I might write more Flack/Beckett or Flack/Prentiss if asked nicely)
Favorite Friendship OMG...the OG CSI crew, before characters started leaving, the Lab Rats on CSI, Alexx & everyone on CSI: Miami, Danny & Flack, Danny & Maka, Aiden & Flack, Aiden & Danny, Hawkes & Stella, Mac & Stella...if you can’t guess, NY was my fave.
Favorite Quote Pretty much anything the Lab Rats said in any of their spotlight episodes. I swear, they got the best lines...
Worst Character Death (if any) If we’re talking actual character death, I couldn’t watch Angell’s sober. I had to be trashed and have my bestie on the phone to get through it. BUT THE DEATH TO MARTY’S INTEGRITY AND FUCKING JESUS CHRIST, NY WRITERS, Y’ALL FUCKED UP HIS CHARACTER SO FUCKING MUCH AND I WILL NEVER EVER FORGIVE YOU. AND Miami? Fuck you for Hagen very much. Oh, New York? Fuck you for Aiden, too. Bastards. At least I have NCIS: New Orleans now to soothe that wound.
This made me so happy you have no idea Moment Flack and Angell’s first kiss. Also the bit where she spoke French into his translator after he spoke Gaelic. For the other shows?
Saddest Moment See my “I could not watch this sober” moment. Also Hagen’s entire last episode, but mostly all his scenes. My poor poor baby boy, I still love you. ::hugs::
Favorite Location The old school New York labs and the new Miami and NY labs.
(BTW, I will rant for days about these shows and how my three babies Angell, Hagen and Marty were done wrong, if anyone’s interested)

“And where’s that?”
Lindsey walked up to her. “No pulse, no promotion.”
“And what makes you think I won’t do the same?” she asked, getting in his face.
“You don’t have the balls.”
“Maybe I have a steel set that you don’t know about.”
“If you do then they aren’t yours,” he said, backing up and leaving her fuming alone.

My thoughts on the Buffyverse
@fadeddreaming is going old school with her ask for me...
Favorite Male Character Hmmm...toss-up between Angel and Lindsey. Wesley on Angel is a close second.
Favorite Female Character Buffy, Faith, Tara, Anya, Cordelia...love em all.
Least Favorite Character Wasn’t all that fond of Principal Snyder. Also really didn’t like Riley’s boss.
Favorite Ship Before it got ruined by canon, Spuffy. Nowadays thinking back...probably Angel/Cordelia and Willow/Tara.
Favorite Friendship Angel Investigations, hands down.
Favorite Quote “I do not have puppet cancer!” OOr just generally anything regarding Angel’s puppetness from “Smile Time.”
Worst Character Death (if any) Joyce on BtVS, Fred on Angel, and later Wesley.
This made me so happy you have no idea Moment Lindsey signing at Lorne’s bar. Like, I had a signed DVD of that track (”LA”) from Christian Kane for years and that was one of my most prized possessions and I am so mad I no longer have it.
Saddest Moment Wesley’s death, hands down, because OMG, it was just...I felt so bad for Illyria, I really did.
Favorite Location Giles’s library.

Bitter And Sweet (COMPLETE)
And here is an angsty (but with a hopeful ending!) fic that was written for Nonny and @fadeddreaming . It’s not super long, but I finally finished it and I hope you both enjoy it.
Bitter And Sweet - When things go well for Sherlock and Molly it reveals old hurts for John, who is still not past losing Mary. But maybe something good can come from it in the end.

She had known it would be hard for him. She hadn’t expected...this.
The first anniversary of Mary’s death had been hard on everyone, but John had not done this before. It had been a sad, solemn day, and Sherlock had, respectfully, given his now flatmate again space and time with Rosie. He had gone to Molly’s and spent the day there, curled up in her bed with her pressed against him, just silent for the most part. That was the comfort he had needed because even then, he still felt responsible.
John had comfort in Rosie and had said that was enough, and they had believed him.
It hadn’t been, though.
The day of Mary’s death, Sherlock asked her to marry him. It was simply put, as he edged into sleep that evening, but she had said yes even if she didn’t think he could hear. After all they had been through, how could she not? She loved him. She loved him more now than she ever had before. And when she woke up in the morning there was a diamond ring on her finger and Sherlock said he would share the good news with the others unless she wanted to do it first.
Everyone took it well, except John. It was probably the timing, but the first anniversary of her death slipped by and he said nothing more than a terse congratulations and a nod when Sherlock asked if he would be in the wedding party, be his best man.
Today, months later, on John and Mary’s own anniversary, the volume of yelling threatened that agreement.
John was drunk, and belligerently so. It hadn’t been this bad since Mary’s passing, when she’d taken over the care of Rosie to make sure she was cared for, delivered John’s message to Sherlock, surreptitiously kept Sherlock informed of how he was doing, how their goddaughter was doing, and still help him with the fool drug plan. But they had survived and she had thought it all was fine.
Perhaps she’d been wrong.
“You stole my wife,” John said, his voice slurred with the drink. “You...you don’t deserve Molly. You don’t deserve happiness. You should crawl in a hole and die. Like Mary did.”
“John, please,” Molly said as Rosie’s wailing got louder.
“Shut your hole,” he snapped, and Molly blinked. He’d ignored her most of the night to grumble and curse at Sherlock. She had been an afterthought.
“Go. Now,” Sherlock said evenly.
“Go where? I’m here. I’m stuck here.” He gesticulated wildly. “I’m stuck with this life and it’s all your fault.”
Sherlock moved to physically move John from the room but John swung wildly. Sherlock swung back out of instinct when John’s fist glanced off his cheekbone and landed solidly on his cheek.
“Enough!” Molly yelled before it became a full-blown tiff. “Stop it, both of you. John, I’ll call Greg to see if you can stay in his guest room. Rosie will stay with us until you’re sober and back to yourself.”
John huffed and moved to get his coat. “Of course. It ends the way you want it to.”
“John,” Sherlock said, and John stopped.
“What?” John said, his voice part huff, part sneer.
“I still want you as my best man.” He looked up at John. “Just not like this.”
John stayed quiet, but he went and got his coat and turned on heel to leave. The door was shut with minimal force, and Molly hoped what Sherlock had said got through as she handed Rosie off to him and went for her mobile. Maybe, hopefully, this would all blow over and they would be fine. That was what she wanted more than anything.
