What do you think about reader showing stuff from their world into the idv world. For example, Reader shows demi how to make different types of drinks or Ganji different sports around the world.

Overly amazed, curious, somehow anxious, you call it. We have a bunch of different reactions since all of the characters are very unique. If they had a way to contact you through voice, you would hear a few "woah's" and "woww" coming from your game. So this is how TV's look now? And would you imagine that this shiny and fragile box you mentioned can do so many things from playing music or tracking someone's location? The future went beyond their imaginations despite its flaws.

For the past 20 minutes, Ganji Gupta has been paying attention to a conversation more than anyone had ever seen. From the eyes of another, it is obvious how focused Ganji is on reading everything you type for him meticulously, the gears inside his head turning with every word. It is such a rare sight for a man so reserved to be amazed like that. To him though, it was as if he had traveled the past, the time when he was so naive and hoping for a successful career surrounded with golden trophies and cheers from the crowd.

He is caged now, but the occasional talks between you and him flicker the burning passion of once again attempting to prove to the world that they are mistaken for daring to strip him of his ambitions.

Oh yes! I am systematically working my way through most of the characters ehehe. I actually think I need to do some situational writing for Aesop as practice, he was a little harder for me to pin down than the other characters I've done so far.

Identity(V) Headcanons: Aesop Carl

-With my current knowledge of the characters, I think Aesop is one of the more dangerous people in the actual horror-story telling behind IDV…. But I’ve been filling these under the game/stageplay setup where the manor is an unescapable, endless game and no one actually dies for realsies…so we’ll ignore his murderous training and tendencies for now.

-That said, he’s still going to be a very difficult guy to get along with. Aesop is confirmed as autistic, and most of his related struggles fall into social categories. He does not typically enjoy casual touch or conversations about anything other than his work. In fact, the longer the conversation is, the worse time he’s having. If there’s a lot of people around too?? He’s McStruggling.

-It takes him a very long time to become genuinely comfortable and friendly with someone, and only then does he start to explore them beyond his comfort zone. Luckily, since everyone is stuck in this would-be purgatory, you’ve got nothing but time!

-One-on-one time is best for Aesop, and while you’re first getting to know him it’s recommended you do not initiate this unless he’s in a public space. He’s mentally prepared to be approached at those times. If you try to barge in on his quiet time or safe spaces before he clears you to do so, it’s only going to hurt his opinion of you.

-He most definitely has long-stints of going nonverbal. At times, the amount of conversation expected of him is too much and he just shuts down completely. If he’s pressed too much during these times he may fall to tears or lashing out. He may, however, be willing to write out any answers that are very important or time-sensitive.

-The trustworthiness of the living and the dead are flip-flopped in Aesop’s mind. When someone is dead, they are a resting summation of all their deeds in life. He learns about who people were through the clues they leave behind: their health, their scars, their effects, the company they receive at their funerals. He considers these things to be more truthful than whatever the deceased would tell or show him about themselves. The living, meanwhile, are all actors, just proxies for what they want to be rather than what they actually are. This is a large reason why he feels closer to the dead than the living.

-Aesop’s favorite love languages are a little difficult to pin down, but I’m going to say Quality Time is his number one—especially when you’re good with parallel play and keep things quiet. This will foster feelings of safety and comfort in relation to your presence! He also likes Words of Affirmation, but mostly in the form of letters, as he’s a little biased for them from all the times he’s nosed through a patient’s effects. Even when he’s head-over-heels (or as close as he can be, since I honestly get AceAro vibes from him) he leans towards written communication but could learn to trust verbal praise in smaller doses.

-When he’s very close with someone, he can learn to enjoy a good hug now and then, or lend them his shoulder to lean on, but he always prefers to keep his arms uncaged so it’s easier to pull away. Unwelcome physical contact feels like bugs crawling under his skin. It’s obvious when he’s had far too much of it because that sensation leads to twitching and spasming, like he’s trying to shake it out.

-He likes to read! His favorites are mostly nonfiction. Biographies (not autobiographies) and other works of an educational nature are preferred, but he has been known to pick up some poetry every now and again. This is due in part to not having finished school and thirsting for all the knowledge he wasn’t allowed.

-He treats learning about his loved ones like reading these books; they are a list of facts and stories to be memorized. Small exceptions to any major preferences can be confusing for Aesop to keep track of, but in general he is very good at committing people’s likes, dislikes, and histories to memory.

-He doesn’t really care to celebrate his own birthday, but likes to help others celebrate theirs. The kitchen is far from his preferred workspace, but he’s actually a decent baker when the situation calls for it. The cake decoration….well, he’ll leave that to someone else. But the cake itself will taste good!

Helena

Gets annoyed when you attempt to hide how tired you really are. Tells you off for not taking care of your own needs. She seems rather angry, but it comes out of pure concern for you.

Finds a small nook in the manor for the two of you to hide in, unbothered by the rest of the residents. Has you lay down beside her, resting your head on her lap, while she reads to you.

"It says here that y/n is actually the most beautiful person in the world! Fancy that!" You try to argue with her, and she asks you to prove it. You cannot prove it, as you can't read braille. She smiles down at you, feeling as though she's gotten away with something great.

Will read to you until you fall asleep, then she'll simply sit and enjoy your presence.

Anne

Has prepared a new game for the two of you to play!

She's brought some cookies and hot chocolate for the occasion, and has made sure the room is super cozy.

She doesn't outwardly say she knows your stressed, nor does she push you to talk about it. Claims that she's only doing this to have a fun time.

She explains the rules to you as best she can, though she's so excited to play with you that she can't formulate a proper description. Claims that you'll understand more once the two of you begin playing.

The two of you have friendly banter while playing. She jokes about how badly she's going to crush you, and you try to return her energy.

She beats you the first couple of times, and then starts letting you win.

"You're getting really good!" She could demolish you in two rounds

Ends the night drinking the last of your hot chocolate while looking at the stars.

Vera

Notices something off about you immediately. Can sniff out the fact that you're spreading yourself thin effortlessly.

Her solution? A makeover!

She invites you to her room, and gives you the spa treatment

She goes through her skin care routine, all the while complimenting you for how great you look. Recommends all sorts of tricks for taking care of yourself.

Doesn't use too much make up, just highlights your "natural beauty"

Once she's done, she dresses in an outfit she hand picked for you, doing little bits of maintenance to make sure it fits perfectly.

You can hardly recognize yourself in the mirror when she's done. You look better than you ever had before.

The two of you then head to dinner, and she takes great care in showing you off to everyone you pass.

"Don't they look gorgeous? My, you'd think I was dining with a movie star!"

Tracy

The QUEEN of parallel play

The both of you are the same amount of stressed. She's been working on something that hasn't been going great, and the manor has been playing tricks on your mind. She suggests the two of you just do something to relax.

She leans on your shoulder while fidgeting with a puzzle, and you busy yourself with your own hobby.

When she finds herself getting frustrated, she buries herself in your neck, breathes in deeply, and then returns to her game. The first time it startles you, but by the third time you find it comforting.

Eventually, the two of you grow bored with your respective busy work, and decide on getting a snack.

The entire time she's touching you. Holding your hand, leaning on you, or resting her head on your shoulder. She loves simply basking in your presence.

While eating, the two of you chat about anything and everything. The conversation grows emotional quickly, with the two of you expressing how stressed you've been lately.

"I'm lucky to have you." She means every word

A Record and A Question | Identity V (第五人格）

Greetings to the esteemed fan base. I am the newest victim of IDV propaganda, finally enticed by the sheer ridiculousness of the Composer's gameplay, sent to me by an old time friend who's been playing this game for as long as I have known them. Granted, I did start a good two weeks prior writing this post however with recent events, it has come to my attention that I Must inquire the following:

Is it just me, or does Frederick constantly get targeted first?

I have no fucking clue on where to begin with this. I admit quite shamelessly that I am a coward and very new to the PvP game scene, previously only religiously playing otome games and then mmorpgs (PvE type). Henceforth I chose to solely play as a decoder (after taking a liking to the Composer's play style) FOOLISH THINKING, that I could avoid confrontation with the Hunters. AND YET, as you can probably deduce from my question, I am CONSTANTLY targeted first.

Does the man have sweet juicy ass that attracts hunters in general? Are Composers just so rare to find that hunters can't help but to HAVE to chase the one guy with the tuning fork that speeds him away?

I quote this conversation yesterday, with my dearest friend who got me into this mess in the first place, AD VERBATIM,

My dearest friend, grits teeth, has been unabashedly laughing at me for the sheer misfortune of attracting all the hunters in the world. You may laugh as well, fellow netizen.

Not every single match of course, I would've known that the world was dead set on killing me off first in that way but No. Maybe a 7/10 matches, I'd get targeted first. Maybe twice or thrice I'd get the doki dokis and nyoom away in time, God forbid if I get tracked down then on the small chance I'd still successfully kite for a while and then get the fuck away from the hunter. Or maybe, just maybe, for that peaceful few matches, I can decode. In. Peace. But nooooooooo, next match they'll DEFINITELY come back with Vengeance.

And so, as you can see, I am truly in a pickle. Please send help.

For clarification, as some of you may think "awww this newbie's throwing a fit over skill issues"

First and foremost,

Yes I am. I will admit it.

2. No, I do not vault over stuff for no reason anymore (yes I used to, as Gardener in the first 3 or 4 days before I got Composer, sue me)

3. I don't constantly miss combos (I know 3 misses will alert, collectively and not consecutively), so I'm definitely sure that's not the issue, I am pretty consistent with my combos usually reaching 100+ on lvl 2 IF I ever get a peaceful time ciphering away from the hunter/them having another unfortunate soul to harass.

4. I'm... Well. I'd like to think I'm a decent player as a Composer as I do have some mastery over his kit. It's to the point that I have 100% deduction on Frederick as I have played him religiously for these two weeks and yes, of course clearing the escape using tuning fork missions were one of those that got quickly cleared due to the sheer frequency of me getting hunted.

THUS AND THEREFORE I REQUEST OF THEE, AN ANSWER.

IS COMPOSER HOT SHIT FOR FIRST GRABS OR IS IT TRULY!!!! TRULY JUST ME.

Fellow Composer mains please reply, I am in dire need of validation.

A 2 week old Composer main, fresh off a match where I contained Fool's Gold for 3 ciphers in the circus map, got chaired, then saved by Embalmer, then the man gave up when I speeded away and he chased Embalmer in the seats while I, trying to realize my Norton x Frederick delusions, ran back to decode the last cipher machine right next to them.

(Eventually someone else completed the last cipher and along with the rest of the crew we made our merry little way to the gate, Fool's Gold randomly throwing his silly little pickaxe around while we left behind a graffiti mess and the poor fellow as we escaped. A bittersweet victory indeed.)

Your thoughts on the Identity Switch

Thanks to you…. I now really like Norton. I used to hate him because I have a vendetta against people taller than my 4’11 self but now I love him.

on another note, what are your thoughts on the Identity switch system? Looking more into Norton’s background specifically makes me wonder why Norton gets a hunter form. What does this represent? I know that there’s a lot of drugs involved but I always interpreted it as them unlocking a new personality or smth, one more attune to following the manor’s games and supervising it (hunter) and like the other just trying to leave (survivor). I’ve been so interested in Norton’s lore lately that now I’m in an existential rabbit hole in how survivors get hunter forms, why that is, and if it’s like some sort of curse or punishment. Why are these survivors getting hunter forms?

soooo many questions, IK. But like reading your theories and analysis at 3Am is my serotonin. As a new player purely interested in the game for its lore I am just excited to know more but can’t wrap my head around all these weird concepts cause, again, I’m new. Also if I spend the next hour reading more of your analysis I will not sleep so therefore I need to preface my curiosity with a timed endeavor. My question probably do3snt make sense but like uhhh yeaaaaa. You should totally make something on your thoughts on identity switch (especially for the survivors gone hunters) cause I am too far in deep into the Norton-Campbell-Fool’s-Gold-Alternate-personality rabbit hole.

Ah, it makes me happy to think a nobody like me can turn your thinking around on someone. Especially Norton since he was 1 of the main reasons I got started with the lore at all. I'm someone who usually plays a game based on how interesting the story or characters are, so I was interested in learning about idv's lore soon after I joined (had to take quite awhile to figure out the basics of the game and what all the various buttons were, then take some more time to get used to it before I could even get started with the lore). Was the main reason why I went looking to join places like Discord or Reddit, just so I could find people talking about the story.

Started by just understanding what I could about what people said, but then I eventually moved on to trying to understand at least the basics of everyone's backstories (once again, took me awhile to do that ^_^; Especially as I joined before we were getting all that much story at all). While I was doin this, I heard a lot of people saying bad stuff about some character named Norton. Have to admit I didn't know who he was for quite awhile. Wasn't in my radar. Can't even say I cared much for him. But I eventually got to the point where I basically decided I wanted to see if I could determine if Norton really was that bad or not (maybe as a challenge to myself, maybe because I wanted to find out myself rather than just hearing other's opinions, or maybe because I failed to find anything really in-depth about him).

That analysis took a ridiculous amount of time. In part because I ask too many questions, because I'm a perfectionist and wanted to look at every bit of info on him and detail on him, but also somewhat because I ended up writing this like a persuasion piece, and felt the only way to do that was by going through everything to back up my conclusion (whatever my research turned up). Which was also why I analyzed every single essence he had a skin in, as well as any skins not in an essence, his accessories, emotes, etc... It was during that process I actually got attached to Norton. Probably because of how long I spent going through him (no one needs to know how long it took... only the immense joy and desire to collapse I had when I finally finished).

Since then, I've rewritten his analysis... 3 times now I think? Counting after hunter norton's release? Though I've taken down that 1st version due to issues, and haven't reposted my essence analyses as they're old (they were pretty much the 1st analyses I wrote, and I'd like to think I've improved since then) as well as because they're based on the 1st version of my norton analysis... and because they're probably a bit needlessly long and thus embarrassing... Maybe I'll repost them once I get around to rewriting them. I definitely will eventually at least for Soul Catcher's and Magic Item Keeper's essence because I have to say they took longer than almost any other part of that original (complete) norton analysis (i can never forget the trouble they caused me over how long it took to understand them).

ANYWAYS! Ignoring my stupid rambling because who cares about any of that.

I was going to include my answer to your question about Identity Switches but it’s starting to become a little silly in length ^_^; (seriously, for those who know me well enough, I have a bad habit of writing more than I initially intended to once I get started) so I’ll make that a separate post for you, and you can let me know if it answers your questions (once I post it). If not, feel free to ask any more of your questions.

Honestly, the lore is confusing even to those who aren’t new players, so don’t be too hard on yourself if you can’t wrap your head around a lot of this ^_^;

It’s hard for me to imagine my stuff is so good people are willing to read it, much less re-read it. Especially as I know people tend to prefer… shorter things, but I have tendency to be lengthy. I can’t help it though ;’) But thank you so much for the compliment.

So Rimu (creator of heartless deciet) stole my rights for playing idv and turned me into a brummie so now I must write an essay in return for her giving me my rights back. What shall it be about?? Death predictions for Chapter 1 that's what. This will be like my previous Eden's garden one was, starting with the tier list

I might get canceled for this but whatever.

So I'm gonna start by saying Akira and Izanami are definitely surviving, Akira is the protag and has way too much potential development to be killed off so soon and Izanami is being set up as the antagonist so she'll at least be a late game death, she won't die so soon.

Kou is ruled out for similar reasons, although it would be funny if someone tried to kill him every chapter and he just came back. Plus, he's too cute to die.

Minamoto, Tomoya, Shion, Yumeo and Kyouran all give me late game or survivor vibes. They're all incredibly intelligent and wouldn't be so quick to die or kill (although Minamoto does have a violent streak, I doubt he'll kill someone so early on. At least give him some time for the despair to kick in). Tomoya is seemingly the support and he and Shion are definitely hiding something, which would be disappointing if either of them died so early. Akira needs her emotional support failboy! Yumeo is also very antagonistic, and I see him as a late game death (I stand by my theory of Tomoya or Shion killing him) and Kyouran is just survivor material. He would be besties with Denshi. I can also see him becoming closer to Akira when her second talent is revealed as they both have illegal talents, I can see the reveal happening around Chapter 2 or 3, so he'd at least die in 4 if he doesn't survive and I don't see him as a culprit.

For the "low but possible" these are all characters that don't have the same level as plot armour as others, but I doubt will survive. I think Hideyoshi needs more time to build his friendship with Katsuhiko before dying. Kiyoshi is my son he has lots of room for development, I can see him as a chapter 3 death, although i hope he lives. Satoru has an unhinged sprite, he's not dying soon (unless he's insane??? Watch me be wrong) anyway I think his relationship with the others should be furthered prior to his death. Takeshi definitely has room for development, I want his softer side to be explored a little more before his inevitable demise at least please, Rimu. Have mercy on my poor eepy soul.

As much as I love her, Chiemi's attitude will probably get tiring after a long time. I can see her dying in chapter 2 or 3, but i wonder if she'll get negative character development? That will be interesting. Otome give me culprit vibes, but only after the stress of chapter 1 fully catches up to her.

I'm sorry but Bani, as much as I love her, probably won't live long. I hope she does get some bonding time with Kiyoshi (she likes puppet shows!!) before her death, but it will be tragic and I WILL cry. I think Rei would be an interesting 1st culprit, her talent could be used against the cast to give them false information and who would be suspiscious of the small blind girl??

Chou... I'm sorry but you can't mention her having a bad temper without making me think she'll get angry about the situation in chapter 1 and kill a person in rage. I still love you it's ok.

Feeling somewhat nostalgic for the game I used to play (quit cause bad anxiety ;;). If I somehow manifested a TWST×IDV Collab, I'd be pretty shocked but I don't see that happening tbh

I can definitely see him wanting to be a hunter main but he sucked so he ended up being a survivor main lmao

I see him as a Naib (Mercenary) main! He thinks that decoding is boring and would rather save people or do literally anything else

If he's playing with you in the same room or if you are VCing with him, he's definitely the type to ask for help once he's down because he used Naib's ability too often

If he's playing sui, I think his favourite characters are the ones who can "do damage" to the hunter (I forgot what the in game term is, it's been a few months djsjsjj)

I think other survivors he would love playing as would be Ganji (Batter), Emil (Patient), Kevin (Cowboy), Norton (Prospector), Andrew (Grave Keeper)

His first main is probably Lucky Guy since he can wish for an item or maybe Kreacher (Thief) since he gets to stun the hunter with a flashlight

I think the hunter he REALLY wants to main is Orpheus (Nightmare) because he looks cool or Philippe (Wax Artist) because he gets to shoot wax at people and make inappropriate jokes lmao

Deuce:

Survivor main because he thinks it's more fun

Loves to rescue chaired players and definitely will body block for you <3

He's a Luca ("Prisoner") main which I think is hilarious considering that he loves to rescue players but main someone who's better suited in the coding department 💀💀💀

I think if he put his mind into it, he would be a great Eli (Seer) main

Doesn't care for sui but joins in because Ace roped him into it

I don't see him playing as anyone else except for Eli and Luca for survivors because he's one of those guys who mains like 2 survivors

Even though he's a survivor main, he does pretty well as hunter

For hunter, I see him as a Jack (The Ripper) main

His first main was probably Freddy (Lawyer) because he had a hard time looking for the cipher machines

He's surprisingly good at being hunter

I feel like if he plays the game more often, he would be the most menacing Yidhra (Dream Witch) player

But he doesn't so his other mains are Galatea (Sculptor) and Michiko (Geisha)

His first survivor main is Emily and he doesn't play any other survivors because he never play as one except for the first time round

Nearing the end of me writing this HC, I remembered that there are side games??? So let's just assume that they either never played them, didn't know they existed or they feel neutral about them. I mean there's barely anyone playing Black Jack back when I played the game often so it's most likely the case shshsh

I'll only write about the side games if something interesting happens or if I think the character likes that certain side game in particular! Also I always known that writing HCs isn't easy but this really ate a lot of my braincells so I'll probably continue this tomorrow or something sjsjsjsj

AVERWAAWA I COME IN PEACE 😞😞😞 I'm here to tell a funky story

basically a few days ago we met a new friend on IDV and we call them Mua, they're Chinese but not too fluent since they're in another country, not China or anything but smth else (ion' wanna dox my precious) so I was like "awooga you are such a cutie" blindly accepting my love 😈😈 and Buma and I regularly play the game mode Tarot where there's two squires, the ones that protects the King, which is Buma. I play squire and I body block so GGG 💪💪 then the Knights are hunters going after the enemy set, same amount of players, 4v4. The enemy knight's objective is to chair the King three times, they can't chair the squires. Anywyas we had another friend thats a hunter main and they're really adept with most character hunters so we're all set basically. UNTIL WE MET ANOTHER SQUIRE, MUA they play seer, a male survivor who sends an owl as protection for like 10 hoots maybe, they decreased the time the owl stays there for, the owl flies away when the hunter hits the survivor the owl is protecting and the maxed amount they can save up is five owls but you need to stalk the hunter to gain another owl, similar to the survivor I play, Enchantress she needs to be in the vicinity only she doesn't need to stare into the hunters soul or smth. She gives out a short stun on the hunter lasting at least like 2 seconds if you're using a single stun, if you have 2+ stacks of the stun saved up, it prolongs the stun time. So I'm an absolute menace to these enemy knights 😈 especially when I play coordinator which her skill is a single flaregun, can only be used once every round on the hunter which stuns them for quite a while like you'd estimate it as 5 but there's a more exact time recorded somewhere. Point is, Mua played seer and when we first met them I was playing coordinator and Mua saw me shoot the enemy Knight three times and THEY BOUGHT ME ANOTHER GUN AND STOOD THERE WAITING FOR ME TO PICK IT UP 💔💔 I was swooning 😍😍 and screaming, they bought everything in the shop to give to Buma for assistance so they're really great. Today in our last round we were against a Ann, she launches two cats that if you walk into, Ann can control whether to lock your skills, preventing you from using whether item/skill you bought, or stop you from walking for like 5 long seconds and you can't avoid that unless she misses the aim for launching the cats or you run farther away from the cats, because they can jump on you. Unlike survivors, hunters can carry an additional skill such as Excitement which cancels out any stuns and prevent stuns from having any affect on you if someone shoots you whilst Excitement is active nothing will happen

Anyways in tarot there is a shop access for everyone, Buma focuses on buying out everything and to give me a gun when she can, it's the first thing I buy before anything else, but this time I'm playing Enchantress because it's safer with Ann, if Buma gets stunned I can possibly stun Ann with a prolonged stack, or Mua can use the owl before Ann hits Buma. Our Knight is really quick in killing off the enemy King so I usually start rushing to uhm torture the knights 😋 with flareguns, I shot them twice which is confusing because you won't see people giving out guns to others but yeah its obvious Buma and I are friends with the matching users but the whole team were friends and work really well unless we lag 👼🏻 THE ANN GOT REALLY FRUSTRATED WITH ME AND IM ON HALF HEALTH SO IF I GET HIT ONE MORE TIME I'd have to self heal on the floor like crawling, can't run and stuff, they hit me. And they START HITTING THE AIR— sign of being toxic 😈 they hit the air like at least six times before going over to MUA❓❓ LIKE MY PRECIOUS MUA 💔 Mua hit them with a pallet though so it was good until a second latrr lol because we shouldn't be using up too much pallets. Then to transitioned to finding Buma and the whole time she was like "wow she's so pissed she ain't even going after me anymore" anyways I got up and shot them again with Mua's gun 😋 then ALL OF A SUDDEN MUA GIVES ME AN OWL AND I WAs so touched because thr Ann used Excitement for that gun and it was so sudden I didnt expect Mua to even be prepared, I didnt even expect to get an owl like Mua is more and more awooga every time we play with them ♡♡ cheating on Buma like the way she cheated on me with Skillshare on 23rd January 2022, 3am in HK time, 10am in UK time 💔💔 oh but anywyas after the match was over, I waddled my winning ass over to the post match and asked

"do you like eating bullets"

"they're delicious"

then leaving right after because im a civil human being😘 best last match ever my teammates were like "goddamn that Ann was toxic"

It seems you guys have all the strats and reflexes covered in that game, do you play much competitive or is it too toxic over there??

It ain't IDV but I've been watching some Dead by Daylight recently and it seems the game structure is pretty similar. Only DBD doesn't have the absolute banger aesthetic and vibes that IDV has 😩

people who want to shift to idv (i do too but ☹️-) are literally bat shit insane because u can literally die in any minute in match or outside of the matches due to how some of the survivors are literal murders (looks at aesop) or by the hunters.

this is if they're shifting into the actual canon lore (ex. hullabaloo gang are all dead or the ganji & annie in aesops letter).

you can still DIE in the mouse and the cats, the only bonus (or not) is that you're now a cannibal and bit the shit out of nightmare

Correction: every survivor other than the Darkwoods game (10 from what we understand currently, Orpheus, Alice/Memory, Melly, Norton and Nightmare) are confirmed dead, none make it out from either being indirectly killed by accident (William), legitimately killed, or tried to do a good thing and failed (Eli killed his first team trying to change their fate).

in mouse and the cats however, you CANNOT die unless you escape the pocket dimension thst the fic is set in (predetermined before the time of reunion event), that means that its more fucked up because if you do the wrong thing, say the wrong thing, sure, the hunters have rules to follow but piss them off enough and you could be getting thrown out a window on the second floor or worse.

and then you’d revive just like the MC did in the chapter she met Nightmare; your wounds will only heal to the point of not being life threatening.

hi hi! i hope you're doing well ^^ i'd love to request a match up if that's okk!

i use they/them pronouns, dress mostly in masc/androgynous clothing and prefer feminine terms/pet names (a whole shit show i know 🥴). i'm demiromantic/demisexual and would prefer being matched with a male if that's okk. i'm INFP 9w1, neutral good, leo rising, libra sun, pisces moon.

as far as personality goes, i'm described by others as open minded, slightly extroverted, blunt, honest, witty and flirty. while i am aware that i am indeed all these things, it's mostly a facade. i tend to be shy, introverted, can seem pretty cold and distant if you only see me from afar and don't approach me but i just have a hard time showing love and care so openly unless i'm comfortable with the person. not sure if you know these characters, but mostly like a vanitas, dazai, scaramouche, lyney type beat personality.

to expand a bit more on the outer personality, i do tend to be flirtatious towards people who i know i have an effect on or are easily flustered, it's pretty fun and cute to see how they react. all fun and games till someone pulls a reverse card on me tho, if someone tries to do the same to me, i immediately get flustered and stumble over my words because i genuinely never expect the reciprocation. as for inner personality, i did say im not so open about showing love and care unless im comfortable with the person but once i am comfortable enough, i go to hell and back to smother them with so much love, especially with gifting things and lengthy paragraphs (because im bad verbally). what does get me to fold most of the time is someone straightforward, doesn't beat around the bush on what they want to say or do because i do like being caught off guard by such people and it just makes me happy (and quite flustered) knowing that they're so open about it.

i'm currently in university studying communications so my interest mostly are in medias like socials, tv, movies, radio, photography, etc. my main focuses are tv and photography however. with tv, i really enjoy the behind scenes work of it. being able to set up the space and bring it to life. just seeing your creation put into motion is just the most satisfying feeling ever. as for photography, i just enjoy the serenity of it (as if i'm not cursing the weather and people that get into a shot every 5 minutes but anyway), it's very calming in its own way. i have a personal preference for landscape photography since nature and ambiance itself have a lot to offer/say for itself but really i'm just bad at telling others how to pose and what emotion to convey. i just prefer to let them do their own thing unless there's something in particular i really want.

i tend to daydream a lot, like excessively. maladaptive daydreaming go brrr, bUT ANYWAY. i could go on hours and hours daydreaming, that type of daydreaming that got you walking around the house and shit to help you envision things better. because of the excessive daydreaming, i do sometimes write but only when i'm feeling down or stressed as a way to cope.

another thing that i do is watch a lot of videos and movies. i mostly watch fantasy related movies and my all time favorite movie is coraline, with nightmare before christmas in second place. i have an absolute soft spot and big love for stop motion movies and love watching the behind the scenes of it, for any movie tbh because i just love seeing how things come to life and how the crew works to create such things. for videos, it's just watching others talk while they play a game or do something. i just like hearing people talk about things they're doing or enjoy while they're actively doing something, it keeps me engaged.

i do game a lot! mostly genshin and idv, but i do play a few other games as well and i'm willing to try any game once if someone asks, especially if it's a multiplayer/coop game since i feel like games are more enjoyable with other people. hmm, other things i do are book readings and tarot! i have a lot of fantasy books that i've bought over the years as well as many tarot decks (my wallet is not okay 💀😭). tarot in particular is something i've always been fascinated and interested in so i've researched and gotten into it for a few years now!

-Andrew does better with people who aren't social butterflies (because it allays his fears that you prefer the other people you speak to over him), and who like to keep the peace (because they're often good for helping with Andrew's constant grumpy-boy miscommunication.) He's also a bit slow to warm to people, but it sounds like you're a bit of the same, albeit with better manners.

-A fun mix, Andrew is blunt enough and you flirty enough that you constantly fluster one another. He's crass and direct, and though he may stutter and flush beet-red sometimes, Andrew is usually good about telling people what he wants. He's also not used to people complimenting or flattering him, so he flusters easily. You're constantly blushing around one another.

-He's mostly indifferent to your daydreaming. Andrew is more philosophical than he lets on, and you two could easily have an hour or two of lounging in the gardens, you zoned out and him contemplating life. Alternatively, just leave your lap open so he can take a nap. Andrew loves to have his hair played with.

-Andrew lacks any real "hobbies" as most of his life up to this point has been consumed with the church and survival. He's likely to follow you around as you engage in yours and try to figure out if they're things he's interested in as well. I don't think he's likely to be a tech-y guy even in a modern world, so he's more liable to read a book along with you than play a video game.

-Photography might actually help Andrew with some of his self-image issues! Getting him to pose would be a hard-won battle, but if you take a lot of candid pictures of Andrew, and especially if you fawn over them, it gives him a lot to think about. At some point, he has to accept that you don't find him monstrous in any way.

i come bearing another tale from identity v history. this is something that happened while i was taking a break from the game, so i wasn't aware of it until later, but it's still legendary.

uhhh warning for possible spoilers for the promised neverland???? i don't go into plot details or anything bc honestly i haven't read this far yet but it does involve characters who aren't present at the start of the series so yeah.

so identity v announces a crossover with the promised neverland. the crossover is... relatively successful, with some nice skins, fun events both in-game and on social media, and generally it just goes over well. fans of tpn are happy, though some of the choices for who gets what costume were a little baffling (though that may just be me lmao).

later that year, news breaks of a second part to the crossover. it's based on the sorta second part of the manga, with characters introduced later getting skins (while skins from the first part of the crossover also return). the skins are all revealed, and it turns out we're getting skins of the characters sonju, zazie, mujika, and peter ratri.

sonju, zazie, and mujika look... fine!! in fact, i'd say they even look good!! it's clear the designers paid a lot of attention to details and they're honestly among my favourite crossover skins. faithful, pretty, fitting for the original characters' models, basically what a crossover skin should be.

so, what about peter?? surely he, too, got a good, faithful costume, right??

now this was. an unpleasant reveal. why is he making that face?? he looked... goofy. why?? what happened?? how did whoever was doing the art for this manage to make such good art for the rest of these skins for both the first and second parts of the crossover and then drop the ball on a skin for a character who was likely meant to look attractive / pretty??

a lot of people were disappointed, but we hoped he would maybe look better in-game. after all, we've been deceived by art before; hopefully this would be one of those times.

he became the fucking laughingstock of the fandom overnight. no, that's literally what he's referred to on his wiki page. the laughingstock of the fandom. everyone was clowning on this man. and the memes never really went away, if the fact that now, two and a half years later, someone fucking changed the official idv discord server's picture to the mascot of the game with his face superimposed onto her. he came out in late 2021 and we are still making fun of him.

there was never any change to his model as far as i know. they just dropped him and left. idk if they expected us to eat it up anyway, if they were just too ashamed to really ever touch him again, or if they thought he couldn't be fixed so they just abandoned him. dropped him and let us rip him to shreds.

this is the only tpn skin i have never seen in-game. i've encountered every other skin, i even have emma. but i have never seen anyone, not in competitive play, not on streams, not in my own gameplay, use the peter ratri skin. he exists only for us to bully.
