First Kiss (Race 3)

A strollonso AU where 18 year old rookie Lance Stroll falls helplessly in love with the notoriously mean world champion. (1.5k words, angst, hurt/comfort) [@v3lnys @biancathecool] {I was worried I wouldn't have motivation to write this but i got it done in one sitting LMAO}

Thankfully Mark listened and stayed far away from him while the drivers were getting interviewed, leaving the rookie to just have to answer a few questions from smaller journalists.

It was nice to not be swarmed and just asked questions about his dad but he did wish he could've spoken to Fernando again before quali, seeing how much fun he seemed to be having with Mark.

Quali was decent, he got 7th so it wasn't anything spectacular but it was in the points. All he had to do was keep his spot or better and he'd count it as a good race

Before he could even reach Nico's side of the garage he heard a voice call him, though it wasn't the one he expected

"Alright, Stroll, you're the only one left" Mark announced, earning a groan fron the younger

"Mark please" He begged, not entirely serious but also not wanting to get interviewed anymore

"Fernando will but you dinner if you let me interview you" Lance wasn't one to turn down free dinner.

"What am I doing?" Fernando asked, finally reaching the garage

"Sure" Lance laughed, neither him nor Mark answering Fernandos question as the three of them left the paddock

By the time they reached a restaraunt Fernando had pieced together what exactly he was doing but he didn't really mind, the three of them had paid about the same amount while going around Australia together so it wouldn't kill him to treat the two to a little dinner.

They got seated not long after entering, Fernando and Mark in chairs while Lance sat across from them in the booth

"So, Lance. You ready for your interview?" Mark asked, having no plans on really interviewing him

"Shh," He said, bringing his finger to his lips "After Nando pays" Lance laughed, hoping Mark wasn't serious because the last thing he wanted to do after his second favourite part of the day, eating dinner (talking to Nando is first), is be interviewed.

Last nights dinner went well, Lance liked having friends, Karting had kept him from having too many growing up so having friends in F1 was a nice feeling, it gave him something to look forward to outside of the car.

Today was race day and all Lance wanted was to keep himself in the points.

He walked out of his drivers room, race suit tied around his waist (he couldn't be bothered to keep pulling it up), as usual Fernando somehow managed to completely ditch his garage and get away with it just to wish him good luck.

"Lancito, good luck today, let's see if we can get you on that podium, eh?" He smiled at him, elbowing him slightly

Lance loved seeing Fernando away from Media, he was completely different when the cameras were off, by this time in the season Lance had read the articles, seen the blogs, watched the interviews, people were convinced Fernando was some mean winning machine, he was a winning machine, yes, but the last thing he was was mean (at least to Lance.)

"Thank you, Nando, but don't be too hurt when I beat you" He flashed Fernando a cheeky grin, he wanted to beat him of course, all racers want to win, but a part of him knew that wouldn't happen

The cars all lined up and then started the formation lap, as it ended someone had already spun. Lance knew this was gonna be a hectic Grand Prix and it hadn't even started yet.

Lance stared anxiously at the lights ahead of him then everyone took off, the Australian Grand Prix had begun.

Nico was involved in a minor collision on the first lap with two other drivers, causing him to lose his rear wing, Lance was told over the radio that he was fine so he wasn't too worried, the two had gotten used to not finishing by now.

The safety car was deployed then recalled in two laps but then a driver crashed and it was deployed again. Lance was annoyed, why even bother to take it out if it was just gonna be out not even ten laps later.

They got about 20 laps in when cars started to pit and to Lance's surprise he took the lead, he was leading a Grand Prix, he heard instructions over his radio to take care of his tyres, with better cars coming back out with fresh ones he had to defend like his life depended on it.

He wasn't surprised when Fernando took back the lead, he wasnt sure why but he wasn't exactly mad about it either. He managed to build up a decent gap ahead of the driver behind him and asked if he should pit, he was advised not to so he stayed out.

On lap 32 there was another safety car, he took the chance to finally pit, getting into the pit lane first, the race starting behind the safety car again with him just behind Fernando, for the first time he had a chance to be on the podium with him, he was overjoyed at the idea, if his first podium was with Fernando he was sure it would he a memorable one.

On lap 35 the safety car was recalled but literally one lap later it was out again, they might as well have a safety car out all race at this point.

Two more cars retired after the last safety car was recalled and Lance made it to the final lap, he had managed to stay in 2nd for the past 34 laps, it was insane to him, his engineer tried not to say too much but it was obvious how excited he was for him, and now all he had to do was finish.

He had four corners left, then three, then two... then his engine blew. The car right behind him had been covered in oil and the safest thing to do was pull off the track, ten meters away from his first podium.

"I'm sorry- I'm so sorry, I was almost there, I'm so sorry, I'll try harder in San Marino-" He kept apologizing, wondering if he had made the right choice, wondering if the team would be mad at him

"Lance, It's okay, you're the driver, right? Do what you feel is best, if this is what's best then it's fine." His engineer consoled him, the canadian having a hard time not crying

He finally reached the garage, taking off his helment and his balaclava, his eyes red as he talked to his engineer at the back of his side of the garage, not noticing as the tears began to fall

"Fuck, Brad- I'm so sorry, I feel like i fucked up. I could've kept going, I should've, I almost got us a podium, I was so close." He gasped as he spoke, the Canadian distraught as he thought about his team being mad at him, what if he lost his seat because of this? The media already doesnt like him what would they say now? Was Brad lying about not caring?

"Lance, Lance it's okay, no one is mad at you for keeping yourself safe" He promised, speaking to the boy as if he was a child, which wasn't too far off

Lance couldn't respond, all he could do was cover his face, embarrassed at the reality of him sobbing after a DNF, he didn't care the other times.

Lance got himself together before Fernando came looking for him, not saying a word before dragging the rookie out of his garage

"Nando-" He started, Fernando moving them behind the Racing Point garage "Fernando what-"

Then he hugged him, without saying a word he just hugged him, arms tightly wrapped around the rookie as he sunk into his arms, unable to stop himself from crying again

"Fuck, Nando" He choked out "I feel so stupid"

"Shh, is okay, Lancito" He spoke softly, hand stroking the taller mans hair but at that moment the thing he felt was big. He was embarrassed, trying not to cringe at the reality of him crying in another mans arms but all that mattered was he felt safe in them "You did well, am so proud"

Lance hummed, sniffling as he kept his head in the crook of Fernandos neck "I'm sorry, Nando," He practically whispered "I wanted to be up there with you"

Fernando knew that, he was upset to hear Lance was no longer behind him, all he wanted was to celebrate with him, he was looking forward to it for the whole race and now he's stood there with the younger man a complete mess in his arms, he hoped San Marino would treat him better.

"i got accepted into pledis, and ive decided, that i want to take the chance ive been given." minghao told y/n, letting her down easy.

'huh', she thought. it finally made sense to her now, why hed been slightly more distant then normal, and why now, with 2 months left of summer before her freshmen year of college, that he decided so abruptly that they needed to meet up.

"so thats it? youre going to korea, and im going to california? im glad youre doing what makes you happy but, why couldnt you have told me sooner? theres not much time left and we both know long distance relationships never work, i mean most movies end with the main characters being across the state, but across the world? 9066km is way to far-"

minghao cuts her off with a soft kiss, his hand moving up to her shoulder, grip growing tighter with every passing second.

the loving kiss which was meant to shut his talkative girlfriend up began to rise into something a little more.

"you worry a lot, you know?" he playfully scoffed while he leaned back, resting his forehead against hers as he moves the same hand which once rested on her shoulder, up to the back of her head.

"im just, really, really gonna miss you.." y/n whispers, before pulling him again once more by the collar of his dress shirt.

minghao lowly whimpers as y/n slightly nips at his lower lip with her teeth, then goes in for another kiss with minghao licking her own bottom lip, asking for her to let him in during the process.

pulling away, he pushes y/n down onto the bed, adding pressure onto her lower stomach with his own body weight before he goes to hover over her.

she reaches up to run her fingers through his hair, tilting her head to give minghao more access to her neck as he leans down, licking and sucking to find that one spot where she knows splotches of red would be left for her to remember him by for days.

y/n sighed as she listened to the wet sounds of minghao kissing on her neck, biting back a whimper as he reached the one spot on her neck he loved marking the most.

moving one arm down, he leaned onto his right arm while pressing his lower body into the girl below him, slightly grinding his bulge into her clothed heat through it all.

"youre so good to me, hao." she mutters into his ear, leaving a small peck on the side of his head.

he just mumbled something incoherent in response.

with his free hand, he swiftly unbuttoned the top portion of y/ns blouse, slipping his hand under her little black bralette he would always praise her in as he would watch her get dressed.

before he could do anything else, y/n quickly held minghaos wrist. as soon as he felt her hold around him, he pulled his hand back and sat up. "whats wrong? did i hurt you? he questioned with a genuine but concerned tone, using a soft voice that always managed to have y/ns head spinning.

"not at all, its just, youre leaving, and im scared."

"dont be scared, my love. im here for you, you can tell me anything. do you not want to? its fine if you dont, we can stop-" "hao, im okay. its just.." she interrupts him, then pauses.

"just?"

"i dont want our first time to be our last."

"i understand. just know i still love you."

"i love you too. but, i want to. it just feels like we are already saying goodbye even though we havent left yet."

"we arent saying goodbye. just see you later. even so, its not for another 2 months."

"but what if you meet someone better then me? what if she treats you better then i ever can? what if-" minghao stops her mid sentence with yet another kiss on the lips, but shorter then the first.

"theres no one better then you. ill visit you when i can. and when i do, we can do anything you want. fast, or slow." "ew." "you cant say ew just as im about to fuck you."

"youre right."

"you dont have to, y/n. you can back out now, its not to late."

"no, im ready." she gives him a reassuring smile.

"then, let me take care of you tonight. ill go soft on you."

ever since you unintentionally stumbled upon this whole other world of demons, apostles and magic, it had undoubtedly attracted you. topics of these subjects were counted as witchcraft in usual society, meaning that even studying them would mean having your own exectutioning.

although you didnt really have to worry about that anymore now that you were able to face the real deal. from learning bits of magic and the fundamentals of how it works and its affects on the subconscious mind, to the different powers and senses of apostles, though you were quick to realise that most would typically have its own appearances and strength rather than being generalised.

a perfect example of this is femto himself. one of the members of the godhand, and therefore one of the strongest beings in existent, or perhaps the strongest of all.

he does understand your curiosity, as these things you've been exposed to arent normal and would definitely force you to adjust to this whole new world. but what surprised him was that a key part of your interest was in him in particular, and also the god hand. you found it interesting how his demon form was opposite to the form he usually took, which was angelic and ethereal, yet his demon form radiated darkness. the contrast in his two forms was astronomical.

this obviously sparked your interest, and you, being more concerned about curing your curiosity rather than the being in front of you, straight out asked to study him when hes in his demon form. he, slightly amused by your determination, fondly accepted.

you werent even sure what happened when he transformed into his true form, femto. admittedly, you had never truly seen this form of his for yourself, you had only vaguely heard of it. and he, likely would not show this form to just anyone. it was completely different to all the different scenarios you had imagined. you knew that griffith was no true angel although he acted and looked like one, but it would not change the fact he was a demon beneath the surface, and this form had proven it to you expertly.

but you found it beautiful. it wasnt the form itself, but the contrast between that of his regular and this. one was enveloped in warmth, light and calamity, while this one was clad in intensity, overwhelming power and darkness.

your favourite part were his wings.

maybe this form did have connection to his usual one, he was known as the hawk of light after all.

his lips were a purple-y red, his blue eyes and pale skin sticking out due to the darkness surrounding him. for a good few minutes, you were gobsmacked and just stood, staring and analysing, with your jaw on the ground. this was far better than whatever you couldve imagined and it made you excited knowing he was allowing you to study him.

if it was by asking questions, asking him to do certain physical things such as flying, flapping his wings, perhaps even slightly injuring himself with a dagger, it opened multiple new paths for you to go on on your journey for knowledge about the world of demons and apostles you resided in.

( people pleaser bat-demon bf likes the attention and feels giddy whenever you analyse him with no shame whatsoever )

i think, knowing that someone is really soaking in all your reactions to how they touch you, is very flustering. like, you cannot control most of your reactions, all embarrassing laughter or goofy faces are involuntary, but the person tickling you is doing so just so they can pull those sort of reactions from you !! it is just very…. raw. upfront. everything is on the table while you are being tickled, you cannot help it. as someone who tends to keep to myself and is very careful about how i present to others, getting to experience that freedom can be very blissful.

26. what would you say your lee/ler percentages are ??

true switch, but ah, it can be a bit complicated… i really love tickling others but i am a bit partial to guys, however this becomes difficult because i hardly ever find myself attracted to a guy who is not… fictional. aha. but those men that i am attracted to, i want nothing more than to tickle them to tears. but, i also really really enjoy being tickled (like i love it lol), so whenever the opportunity presents itself, i am a very eager lee. overall, though, i just enjoy tickling as a whole (heck, i even enjoy just watching it happen lol), so full switch is my best description haha.

Chapter one

A rumor is going around at the lab with you and 001. A rumor that you guys are dating and stuff. Which you arent of course.. I mean why would you? He's super attractive and charming and you always have had a teeny tiny crush on him, but nothing major.

He's one of your best friends at the lab. You start to wonder what would make people think that, But then it all starts flooding in. He was really flirty with you, like VERY flirty.

He would always give you little forehead and cheek kisses but you guys weren't actually dating him. Yeah you found him really hot and junk but you never had the guts to start a convo with him. He would always be the one to come up to you and get you all hot and bothered.

You were eating your lunch with your other co-worker friends at the lab and melissa brought up you and peter since it was the HOT TOPIC at the lab right now which made you annoyed like why can these snot nose fuckers talk about something else. “So, how are you and peter? Did he propose yet?”

She had to be joking. HIM?! PROPOSING TO YOU? That almost made you bust out laughing, but you held it in. You clear your throat and say, “err we are NOT dating..and no he erm didn't propose.” They just shrugged it off and got back to their conversation about how annoying the little kids here at the lab are.

You could feel Peter staring through your head. He didn't have feelings for you..yet. He just loved seeing you get all flustered and a hot mess. It got him hard kind of, not in a ‘i wanna screw you’ way. He just liked seeing your reactions. It was kinda a kink of his.

You guys didn't really interact around other fellow co-workers now that a rumor was going around. “Cmon sweetheart” he groaned. You loved these cute, adorable nicknames he gave you. They were kinda embarrassing though. When he used that baby talk tone with you.

“No buts, i'm tired of people asking if we are dating! It is starting to get on my nerves peter.” you sighed. “But they know we arent!! I'm just giving them what they want.” He exclaimed. You thought to yourself, what the fuck is he talking about. What they want. What the hell could they possibly want from us.

First off, they have never paid any attention to me. I was just another whore at the lab to them, AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON PETER. Everyone thinks hes the ultimate sex god or something. Listen, i dont know or care but he is honestly one of the most, bitchy, hot, teasing, annoying fucker ive EVERR met. I love him and all but overall its a love hate relationship.

“Whatever, I'm going home.” you argue. Home? What's that? You were currently living in an apartment. Brenner underpaid you but honestly, you didn't give a shit. Anything to be away from your abusive boyfriend you couldn't get away from. His name is Mark, AKA, the man you hated the most. You go home just to get beat with bear bottles.

You screamed and cried. But no one seemed to give a shit. You just had to take this abuse because there was nothing you could do. No one you could go to. Because no one had fucking cared. You wanted out of this relationship so badly. But if you left, he would kill you. That's what he said at least, and you didn't doubt it one bit.

At work the next day, you tried your best to cover up the bruises and cuts. They still stung. Even with the pain killers. I guess he meant it when he said he was gonna make your life hell. Because this sure hurt like hell. You were hurting all over. So badly it felt painful to even walk or sit down. No one even seemed a little concerned. Peter had got in late.

He couldn't even see the cuts because you covered them so well. You had gotten so good at covering them because this had happened so many times. You were ashamed of having this talent. You were never supposed to get this good at it. But he had noticed that you were limping a bit. “Oh my love.. Who did this…?” he whispers, so no one else would hear. “..” you stayed silent.

You were so scared to say who did this. Besides, he doesn't even know you have a boyfriend. (if you would even call it that.) He looks you in the eyes and gives a soft smile. “Don't tell me you tripped or some bullshit story. Darling, please tell me who did this to your beautiful body.” You were terrified of him. You had known Mark for years. It didn't start off like this though. He used to be so sweet and comforting to you. He had always made you think that its your fault that he was like this. And you did think that.

vesper: one of the first ones i actually thought up, pretty traumatized older brother to rumi!! has issues with dealing with grief and guilt over his dead bf. tree/plant person (i never gave any official names, but just think of those “[insert thing] as a person” designs!!), specifically based off a cherry blossom tree!! (im planning to draw his quick ref sheet next :D), has a big big sword!!

rumi: vesper’s younger sister!! also traumatized lol, main event that caused it was the same thing as vesper (it was this big deal i can go more into detail on later, its their motivations for like 90% of what they do), dealing with issues after essentially being left to cope and (try to, it didn’t exactly work out the best;;) all by herself/growing up too fast after mentioned event. even though shes younger shes taller than vesper and will never not make fun of him for it. very playful with her brother!! has a big big battle axe that i had so much fun drawing. also tree person, shes based off a willow tree :D, but shes missing her branch/antler thingies.

unma*: dead bf. liiiiitle bit of a femboy. he was really kind to vesper and loved him a lot and FEELS SO BAD about what happened. literally all he wants in his afterlife is for vesper to MOVE THE FUCK ON. desperately just wants vesper to be happy again even though hes dead and gone. honestly same goes for rumi, even though they werent as close as vesper and unma had been, rumi still really cared for him and looked up to him and feels awful about his death, and unma here just wants them both to stop holding on so tight to what happened, move on as best they can, and be happy again. (they’re both getting there eventually tho <3)

dorian: friends with ebony!! also vespers new very very loving bf (although where i left off in my lil imagined storyline theyre not OFFICIAL just yet bc technically in the storyline i havent gotten to that point, but i do already have many interactions imagined already lol), also in turns becomes friends w/ rumi :D. really nice guy, a wandering medic/healer who generally prefers to not kill anyone or attack unprovoked (but he will make exceptions,,,), has some guilt associated with those he couldn’t save, but handles it MUCH better than vesper… (but to be fair its not a very high bar to cross), carries around an umbrella that doubles as a fighting staff. really devoted to helping as many people as he can. as shown in the ref sheet, while i, again, dont have like any official name for his kind hes got those horns and a tail!! (mostly bc i enjoy drawing them hehe)

ebony*: very shy and really really sweet spider girl who lives in a library with a ghost boy!! shes actually trans :D. honestly a little bit of an anxious mess, similar personality to sucrose (genshin) and kohane (project sekai). aside from the ghost kid she lives with, she doesnt talk to many people, and doesnt have much contact with her family since they didnt have a great reaction to her coming out. theyre also kind of overbearing. for her design, honestly shes incredibly similar to muffet from undertale.

ghost kid*: sorry i have like,,, so little on him. i swear i had a name for him but ive COMPLETELY forgotten. if you have name suggestions give me them pls. i do remember how he died though, feel free to ask about that since it technically involves the town ebony lives in too. i do know he has a cute lil paper crown though <3

weiss: mature lesbian gal. shes pretty smart and serious and especially enjoys working with mechanical stuff. literally made herself a fucking gun. what a girlboss. she used to work as a doctor bc she really wanted to help her partner who has a pretty serious illness, but the place she worked for ended up doing pretty fucked up stuff “in the name of research” and she unwittingly helped in those projects. feels really guilty for it but shes still determined to find someway to save her partner. technically on the run with said partner, and they do lil shows together!!

jex: weiss’s partner!!! originally they were inspired by that specific kind of childish character where theyre like “lets play a game heehee!!!” *tries to fucking murder you* “what a fun game :D” (i love these kinds of characters), but theyre not exactly that extreme. however they do really enjoy doing incredibly risky things acting like its a game. just straight up gambles with death constantly bc they find it exciting. their illness really held them back when they were younger, pretty much never allowed to do anything by their parents since they were trying to extend their lifespan by as much as possible, and they felt like they missed out a lot on just enjoying the life they did have, so thats their goal for the rest of their life. they’ve mostly accepted their inevitable death (which pisses weiss the fuck off) and they really just want to enjoy the time they do have with their loved ones doing what they find fun. they also have a big fucking double scythe. because i was gonna give somebody here a synth and rumi already had the battle axe.

it was past 10pm and jibeom had been watching you write this essay for the past 3 hours, but you still werent done.

“y/n, y/n, y/n” he calls

“hm?” you hum

“are you done yet?”

“nope, not even close” you sigh

“youve been writing for 3 hours, y/n, take a break” he said worriedly

“well you see, jibeom, i would love to, i really would. BUT i have 750 words out of the 2000 i need to write so unfortunately, i cant”

“okay well, when is this due”

“um......... in 2 days🤣”

“y/n ????”

“LOOK I KNOW I SAID I WOULDNT PROCRASTINATE THIS TIME BUT IT JUST HAPPENED OKAY” you say hurriedly, trying to defend yourself

“i mean you still have 2 more days, u can take a break now right ?” he said hopefully

“jibeom i am trying to be a productive student for once, why are u acting as the devil on my shoulder”

“PLEASE I JUST WANT HUGS :(“ he said with his doe eyes that you loved so much

frowning you say, “give me 2 hours okay?”

“TWO ???? Y/N I JUST WAITED THREE HOURS AFTER YOU SAID ONE HOUR”

“IM SORRY OKAY THIS TIME I MEAN TWO”

defeated once again, jibeom left the room, but came back 10 minutes later and sat in the vacant chair next to his girlfriend with his head rested on her shoulder.

“y/n?”

“yes jibeom”

“please take a break”

“jibeom, i said two hours and it’s literally been 10 minutes” you say taking your eyes off of your screen to look him in the eyes

“i know but im bored” he said

“just go bother jaehyun like you usually do”

“but hes out right now”

“jibeom please” you beg

“sorry” he says sadly and walks out of the room

you felt bad for repeatedly neglecting him today, but in order to spend time with him later, you had to finish this essay now

two hours later, it was 12:30am and jibeom walked back into the room ready to pry y/n out of her chair. “y/n it’s been 2 hours and u only have 100 more words than you did 2 hours ago, you arent getting anything else today, come on”

“jibeom give me like 10 more minutes!! please!!”

“NO. this isnt even ab hugs anymore, you are becoming a workaholic that doesnt actually complete anything”

“okay there was no need for the attack, but TEN minutes and ill get up”

“no”

“yes”

“yes”

the two argued for another 5 minutes longer, but jibeom was tired of bickering with y/n so instead of arguing back he gave her a peck on the lips to shut her up.

“please just shut up and come get food with me y/n”

“well shit i cant say no to food, you should asked earlier damn”

“you say yes to food, but not your loving boyfriend ??”

“my loving boyfriend is buying this food for his tired girlfriend though right😊” you say half jokingly

“of course i am, BUT you have to promise that after we come back home, you wont go back to ignoring me and writing your essay. agreed?”

“agreed” you say laughing at how clingy he got
