I didn't think I would make this post so soon (or should I say ever?)

I mentioned in one of my old posts that Lady Aphrodite gave me a friend, and then later that I told this friend about my religion. And I never mentioned this, but I really liked this friend, and both Lord Eros and Lady Aphrodite were taking care of my love life

And now I'm...Dating this friend...

The Gods were like, really serious about me being with him, even though it's going to be a long-distance relationship, since he lives veeeeeery far away. And even with all of my insecurities, the Gods (especially Lady Aphrodite and Lord Apollo) continued telling me that I was going to be with him

I really like him and he's very sweet and invested to know the things I like. I really think this relationship is going to last, and the Gods told me that it will.

I want to thank Lord Eros for always listening to my rambles, to comfort me when I cried my heart out every time I thought that I was unlovable. For being a wonderful friend and Deity.

I want to thank Lady Aphrodite for reassuring me, for putting him in my life, and making sure that I saw every little sign that he was chosen by her and that it was all meant to be.

The best part of all of this is that he doesn't care about me believing in Greek Gods, he's totally fine with this even though he doesn't believe in anything. Not even in the Christian God.

So if any God you're working with is taking care of your love life, don't you worry, they're preparing the best person for you to be with. Just trust them❤️

*Notes: I love making comics but find the writing process difficult, this is something I need to work on, as I have so many ideas but struggle to write them out. I stumbled upon Lucian's Dialogues on Tumblr and thought his charming, tongue-in-cheek style would be a good way for me to practice my comic-making. :')

"Lucian of Samosata was a Greek satirist who flourished in the region of Commagene near Syria in the C2nd A.D. He was the author of numerous works, which include: The Dialogues of the Gods, Dialogues of the Sea Gods, and Dialogues of the Dead."

I opted for a simple color scheme because as much as I love full-color comics, it would take me so much longer to get this done.

Apollo feels like being smeared in charcoal and paint, taking a deep breath and smelling the oil paint and solvent lingering in the air.

Hestia feels like the end of a college party, when everyone is lying together, slowly sobering up and talking about their hometowns.

Aphrodite feels like taking off your makeup after a long day and staring in the bathroom mirror, truly seeing yourself for the first time in a while.

Hermes feels like people watching on the bus, overhearing all the stories of people you will never meet.

Eros feels like loving something so fiercely, with so much passion, that you don't think you can live without it.

Hypnos feels like waking up from a dream that changed your view of the world, for the better.

Artemis feels like the girls you meet at parties who make sure you have a safe ride home.

Hephestus feels like spending hours meticulously building, with a clear vision in mind, but no proper measurements.

Hades feels like the hot embers burning bright on a fire that is slowly dwindling.

Dionysus feels like teaching young actors the ritualistic traditions of a theatre.

Ares feels like protesters fighting for change with unwavering strength.

Poseidon feels like learning about challengers deep for the first time and feeling yourself get entranced by the duality of the ocean.

💕 Subtle Eros Worship 🏹

Sending kind or appreciative messages to loved ones

Writing love letters to yourself

Keep a self-care/self-love journal

Have a candle that reminds you of him (no altar needed)

Keep a picture of him in your wallet

Wear jewelry that reminds you of him

Make yourself feel pretty/handsome/attractive; wear makeup, paint your nails, style your hair, wear your favorite outfit, etc.

Wear perfume/cologne that you like

Have a stuffed animal dolphin or hare/rabbit

Have imagery of bow and arrows, lyres, hearts, or wings (wings are especially good in a Christian household)

Eat an apple

Drink rose tea; eat rose flavored treats

If you have a partner, do something kind or romantic for them; take them out on a date, send them a kind message, give them a gift, etc.

Engage with self-care and self-love often

Take a relaxing bath/shower

Learn archery

Keep a journal for poetry/short stories, especially about love, friendship, and the like

Listen/sing to love songs that you enjoy

Support LGBTQ+ and SA survivor organizations

Express yourself in little ways, if unable to be open; wearing a bracelet that represents your gender, pride flag colored shoelaces, etc.

Show the same love to yourself that you give to others

Make a list of positive things about yourself, such as things you like or enjoy

Give yourself compliments each day; be gentle and kind with yourself

Sit on a beach or near a body of water and meditate or ground yourself

Focus on media that makes you feel good

Read love stories; watch movies about love (can be romantic or platonic)

Buy a bouquet of flowers, for yourself or a loved one; roses are especially good

Eat your favorite candy; give yourself a little treat when able

Learning about/implementing safe sex

Engaging with things you're passionate about

Practice compassion towards others

Assert your boundaries; it is kind to both yourself and the other person to call out harmful behavior or things that harm you

Practice forgiveness, especially towards yourself

I never thought that working with the Gods meant that I'll receive things too, not only give them offerings and devotionals posts, wear jewelry for them and say about my days.

No, they want to gift me things too. Isn't this surprising?

I'm in the process of working with Lady Aphrodite again, and before I light up a candle or make a playlist as my first offering to her. She simply gives me a new friend???? Like??? Ma'am I didn't do anything to deserve this but I'll cherish it dearly.

Lord Apollo also gifted me a wonderful friend and I'm forever grateful to him for this. I love my friend as if she was a sister to me.

Lord Eros is a sweetheart that always made sure to make me feel comfortable about my silly crushes and my desire to be loved by a guy.

I love the Deities, they protects us and gift us even when we think that we don't deserve it.

All they ask back is respect, is to receive our devotion and that we give them things that come from our heart, it doesn't matter if it's just a silly poem (something that I love to gift them), because it's the intention that matters.

The Gods love us, if you needed a signal that they love you, here it is: they love you. They love you because you are you and that's what matter.
