Boyd: Erica kissed me!
Isaac: Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!
Boyd: It was unbelievable!
Isaac: Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!
Stiles: Okay, we wanna hear everything. Isaac, get the wine and unplug the phone. Boyd, does this end well or do we need tissues?
Boyd: Oh, it ended very well.
Isaac: Do not start without me! Do not start without me!
Stiles: Okay, alright, let’s hear about the kiss. Was it a soft brush against your lips or was it like a, you know, “I gotta have you now” kind of thing?
Boyd: Well, at first it was really intense, you know? And then, oh God, and then we just sort of sunk into it.
Stiles: Ohh... So, okay, were they holding you? Or were their hands on your back?
Boyd: First they started out on my waist and then they slid up and then they were in my hair.
Isaac and Stiles: Ohhh.
*meanwhile*
Erica eating pizza in the living room: And, uh, and then I kissed them.
Derek: Tongue?
Erica: Yeah.
Jackson: Cool.

Mischief and Angel- Part 2
Tumblr media
"Gold or silver?" Stiles looks over as I hold up two doorknob options before shrugging, "Whatever you want, it's your room too. Should I get fancy duck tape to fix Rosco? Think he'd appreciate the bedazzling and stop breaking down on me?"
I roll my eyes and set the gold doorknob down before grabbing Stiles and pulling him towards check out, "You don't need anymore duck tape. Save the money for the wedding, Mischief."
Stiles scoffs, "Angel, we're practically rich. Ten dollars in duck tape won't break us."
At that Mrs. Mitchel seems to materialize out of thin air, "Wedding? Are you two gettin' hitched?" I glance at Stiles as he deflates because Mrs. Mitchel is the town gossip and if she finds out big news you better prepare yourself because the whole town's about to think you have three kids and a secret husband from Bora Bora. Poor Ms. Richards still hasn't convinced people she isn't married to a rich man in Bora Bora.
I plaster on a fake smile, "We're thinking about it, but we really should get going, we're having a special dinner tonight to celebrate Stiles' birthday."
I drag Stiles away before she has a chance to answer and he whispers, "Special dinner? My birthday? Angel, my birthday isn't for another two weeks." I roll my eyes before checking out and finally answer him as we walk out of the store and towards the jeep, "She doesn't know that, besides I plan on having a special dinner tonight."
He raises an eyebrow in question and I smirk, "Yeah, he's about 5' 11", has dark hair, amber eyes, and a nose that hits the clit just right when he's going down on me." Stiles almost trips over his own two feet before he practically drags me to the jeep, "Yeah, and what exactly do you plan to do with this dinner?"
I turn around and shudder at the look in Stiles' eyes, "Oh, Baby, I've got a lot of plans."
-----------------------------------------------------
My eyes fly open when the bedroom door is opened followed by a wide eyed Noah that quickly covers his eyes, "Oh god, I'm sorry! I need to talk to Stiles!"
Stiles sits up straight at the sound of his father's voice before grabbing the blanket from the foot of the bed and covers me up. We had been wrapped in a thin sheet but Stiles didn't seem convinced that it was enough.
He rolls out of bed and grabs a pair of sweatpants off the floor and jumps from foot to foot as he puts them on. When his sweatpants are on I can't help the small pleased growl that rumbles through my chest which causes him to shoot me a look and mutter, "Down girl, father in the doorway."
I chuckle before a something is thrown across my face that I recognize as the hoodie Stiles had been wearing earlier. I stay bundled in the blanket as Stiles slowly guides his dad out the door, "Alright Daddio, let's go this way and talk. Also, this is the exact reason we have a new door handle with a lock."
I snort after the door closes as I shove the blankets off my body. I slip on the hoodie before grabbing the bag with the new doorknob off the desk chair. I hum to myself when I realize that I need a screwdriver, "Well, I could go for a snack too."
I shrug and grab a pair of my shorts out of the dresser and slipping them on before skipping down the stairs. When I get to the kitchen I can see Stiles and Noah in the living room. I see Stiles groan and tune into their conversation, "How, how did she get that? Dad I swear, Y/N just made up an excuse to get away from her, we didn't even mention sex."
I raise an eyebrow and decide to ditch my snack. I walk into the living room causing Stiles and Noah to look at me before I ask, "What's wrong?"
Stiles frowns and throws his hands in the air, "Apparently you're a prostitute and convinced me to start an Only Fans and now we're rolling in the dough."
My jaw drops, "I'm sorry, Only Fans?! PROSTITUTE?! What the hell!"
Noah steps forward, "Mrs. Mitchel has it going around town that you corrupted Stiles and now you have to get married because you're pregnant and won't let Stiles be in the baby's life unless he marries you, and all that other stuff Stiles just said."
I want to laugh, it should be funny, but it's not. I growl and my eyes flash gold, "I would never keep him from his child. Never!"
Stiles wraps his arm around my waist from behind, "Easy tiger, it's okay, I know you wouldn't, dad knows you wouldn't, 90% of the town knows you wouldn't. It's just Mrs. Mitchel getting bored and ruining someone's day."
I lean into him with a scowl, "Yeah, well she succeeded. It was already a bad day and she made it worse." Stiles squeezes me tighter remembering the conversation from earlier, "Hey, we moved past that, we're okay, even if you do have an Only Fans."
I elbow him in the stomach and he grunts, "Okay, ow, just trying to be helpful." I roll my eyes before sagging against him, "Alright, moving on, I need a screwdriver to change the doorknob on our bedroom door. And fair warning, when I see Mrs. Mitchel again I swear to god there's going to be some words."
I shake Stiles' arms off before making my way back to the kitchen but I can't help but chuckle silently at what Stiles whispers to his dad, "Make sure no one arrests my fiancée for verbally abusing the elderly. I kind of need her close to me to be a functioning human being."
--------------------------------------------------
Stiles and I are sitting on the couch with his laptop in front of us as we scroll through wedding venues to get an idea of what we want. I straighten and pull my popsicle out of my mouth and point at the screen, "That, right there, I like it!"
He stops over a venue titled, 'Enchanted Gardens' before raising an eyebrow, "Enchanted Gardens? Really? You want to get married in an enchanted garden? Have we learned nothing about any and all things enchanted?"
I roll my eyes and lick my popsicle so the juice doesn't get on my hand, "It's just a name Stiles, it isn't actually enchanted."
"You hope."
I pout and look at him, "But look at how pretty. Just imagine it, we have those fancy chairs set out and beautiful green and white decorations. An arbor with white lace and flowers! Ooo, we could even have the reception out there! There's plenty of space and we wouldn't have to go anywhere else. Plus there's an indoor option incase the weather isn't cooperating and the waterfall, Mischief. Think about the pict-what? Why are you looking at me like that?"
I furrow my eyebrows as I look at Stiles who is staring at me with literal heart eyes and a lovesick smile. He shakes his head gently and brushes some of the hair that had fallen out of my bun away from my face, "Nothing, just admiring how beautiful and wonderful you are. If that's where you want to get married, that's okay with me. We could get married in a dumpster and I wouldn't complain."
I blush but roll my eyes, "We aren't getting married in a dumpster. And I don't want to make all the decisions, it's our day, not just mine. I want you to have things there that you want too."
He nods, "Okay, but Angel, as long as you're there, that's all I really want." My face heats up and I lean in and give him a quick kiss, "I love you." I pull back and he hums, "Mmm, tastes like strawberries."
I snort and hold my popsicle out to him, "Want some?" He shrugs and takes it from me, "I mean, if you're offering yeah, you know strawberries are my weakness."
I chuckle and take the laptop off his lap as he enjoyed my his popsicle. As he's lost in another world I open a new tab and look at color patterns, I know I want white and green but I want another color. It feels like there is one color that will tie it all together but I can't think of what it is. As I scroll I see gold and hum to myself, it goes extremely well with ivy green but it just doesn't give me that 'ah ha' moment I'm looking for.
I keep scrolling down the page and then stop, "Mischief, I think I found it!" He leans over and shrugs, "Uhh, colors?" I roll my eyes and click on the picture, "Not just colors, our wedding colors! You know we decided we liked green and white and I told you I thought there was something I was missing, and I think I found it."
He raises an eyebrow and lick his red tinted lips, "Pink? You want green, pink, and white?" I frown, "You don't like it?"
He shakes his head, "No, it's not that, I just don't see how you can tie it all together. Don't get me wrong it sounds good, but how are you going to get pink and green to go together? Wouldn't they clash?"
I shake my head and lean closer, "There's more than one shade of green and pink, Stiles. I think sage green and dusty rose would go really good together."
"Dusty...rose? That's a color?"
I blink and stare at the screen that currently shows a square of color, with dusty rose written under it before highlighting it, "Stiles, what does that say?" He make a little 'oh' sound and nods, "Yeah, okay, I didn't see that. I'm shit at colors so that is entirely up to you. I mean, orange and blue sound like great colors to me."
I smack the back of his head and groan, "We are not using the Mets' colors for our wedding!"
He huffs and licks the rest of the popsicle off the stick, "Yeah, yeah, I know."
I roll my eyes as he gets up to throw the stick away and I decide to change our search, "So, what do you want in our house?"
I feel amusement, and you guessed it, mischief flow through the bond before he answers, still in the kitchen, "Mmm, probably a kitchen and living room. A few windows would be nice and I think a door is a major selling point, ya know?"
I scowl and when he comes out of the kitchen and sees me he coos, "Aww, you look like a cute little kitten who's angry. Like, your ears would be laid flat and you'd have those squinty grumpy eyes cats have." I roll my eyes, "I swear, just answer the damn question."
He holds up his hands, "Geez, okay. I don't know at least two bathrooms because, kids, and we'll need what, three, maybe four bedrooms?" I purse my lips and nod, "Maybe five, we did say we want a lot of kids so better to go with an extra room that way we can have a guest room just in case someone burns down their house and needs a place to crash. Cough cough, Scott and probably Erica."
Stiles snorts and nods, "Good idea, we can torture him by moaning extra loud." I shake my head in amusement knowing Stiles would do it just to make Scott uncomfortable, "I swear, you are so mean to him sometimes."
Stiles shrugs, "I don't really care, you know how many times I've heard and seen him and Allison, and then him and Kira? More times than I can count. Not to mention all the times he tried setting you up with Isaac."
I snort remembering the 'subtle' hints Scott kept throwing out about how Isaac would make a really good boyfriend. Even after he found out Stiles and I were dating he would still occasionally say something which annoyed me and hurt Stiles even though Scott was joking.
Stiles plops down on the couch beside me and I curl into his side and rest the laptop on his thigh, "This feels so surreal, like a dream. I feel like I'm going to wake up and it would all be a dream and I don't have you anymore. It terrifies me how much I love you. The thought that I could lose you, it's comforting to know that it would literally be impossible for you to walk away, but Stiles, our lives are dangerous you could...you could still..." I can't bring myself to say it and Stiles closes the laptop and setting it on the coffee table.
He pulls me into his side and lifts my face so I'm looking him in the eyes, "Y/N, listen to me, I'm not going anywhere. I'm not completely defenseless and since we mated I can feel how much stronger I am. I know it's scary, it terrifies me every time we face the monster of the week because I could lose you, but Angel, I have faith in us. We always come out on the other side and we'll keep doing that. I'm going nowhere, I'm wherever you are. I love you, so so much."
Silent tears roll down my face and I grab his hand that's wrapped around my waist, "I love you too, Mieczyslaw, more than anything in the world."
--------------------------------------
That's how Noah finds them that night when he comes downstairs to leave for work. He can't help but smile at the sight, both of them asleep and Stiles holding Y/N close like she's the most important thing in the world, and he guesses that to Stiles, she is the most important thing in his world. Actually, no, that's not true, Y/N McCall, soon to be Stilinski, is his whole world.

quarantine headcannons
- Boyd Erica and Isaac are the "time isn't real" household
- Isaac is making an omelette at 4pm and it's simultaneously Erica's brunch, Boyd's dinner and Isaac's midnight snack
- everytime they enter a room with one of the others in it they say good morning, they don't know if it's morning, they don't care, it's all perpetually morning
- Scott, Stiles, Lydia and Allison are all stuck in their three bedroom apartment,
- Scott still hasn't seen all of starwars, (he's stuck inside with Stiles, of course he's seen at least one)
- Scott and Allison have absolutely given each other COVID once or twice...
- Lydia keeps accidentally getting into arguments with strangers on the internet while trying to debunk COVID myths
- it was not long before Stiles joins in.
- they hold stupid competitions like 'how many masks can you fit on one face'
- this ended with an debate on whether bandanas can be considered masks,
- the only way to settle the argument was the call the rest of the pack,,,,,
- this then started a tradition of calling the pack over zoom once a week to play dumb games/among us competitions
- Liam keeps forgetting to take his mask off when he gets home,,,
- after about two days his roomates (Theo, Hayden, Mason and Corey) stopped telling him
- instead they'd see how long he could go without noticing, (he once left it on for four hours)
- mason gets them to play monopoly sometimes
- an abbridged list of crimes committed while playing monopoly
1. Theo blatantly stealing cash from the box (not even trying to hide it)
2. mason skipping liam's turn while Hayden or Theo distracts him
3. Corey giving rent discounts to his boyfriend
4. Corey raising rent for everyone else
5. Hayden making go to jail cards (a piece of scrap paper with the word jail written) and putting them on the top of the chance card pile.
6. Liam calling scott to ask for advice in the middle of his turn.
- they've never actually finished a game
- Erica, Boyd and Isaac all try to learn how to cook
- collectively they can cook enough to survive
- but they don't really know much more than eggs and pasta
- half the time they give up and get frozen pizza
- their apartment is only one bedroom so occasionally one of them will lock themselves in the bathroom to be alone
- problem is it's also a one bathroom apartment.

Isaac Lahey Hcs
Hey gang! I started rewatching Teen Wolf again, and I want to write about one of my favourite werewolves (sorry Remus). Anyway, this ended up being kinda angsty, hope you enjoy!!
Tumblr media
he can’t stand the taste of coffee. It’s way too bitter for him, even with milk and sugar in it
he drinks tea though. He gets a lot of headaches around the full moon, so drinking ginger tea helps sometimes, but he can’t drink too much of it. Because of that, his second favourite tea is green tea
while he didn’t love working at the graveyard, the peace and quiet was nice. It was an opportunity to just sit and listen to his music, away from anyone who wanted to judge or hurt him.
a literal heater. He’s that one guy who wears shorts and a thin coat in the dead of winter
despite this, he absolutely loves jumpers and sweaters. Especially oversized ones that he can hide in. He keeps certain ones for when he’s having a bad day, so he can just bury himself in all the soft material
when he has a panic attack (which is often), he usually ends up grabbing one and curling up into a tight ball in the corner of his room
he makes sure that when he does, he keeps the door and window wide open. On one hand, he doesn’t want anyone to see, but his fear of being locked in far outweighs his embarrassment, and so the door stays open.
people think he’s this really sporty guy because he always takes the stairs, but it’s really because he can’t stand the idea of being trapped in the lift
after finding out about this, Scott takes it upon himself to challenge Isaac to race up the stairs. Stiles just takes the lift and meets them up/down there when they’re done
his favourite subjects in school are maths and French, because they just seem to make sense to him. For him, the numbers are easy to follow, it’s a bit like a puzzle, the logic behind it is fun
it’s for this reason he enjoys languages too. the similarities and differences between ones that have the same root language are fascinating to him, and he manages to pick them up really quickly. It was really useful when he moved to France, since he already knew a little and was more than willing to learn.
when he first met Boyd and Erica, his first thought was “oh fuck, they’re hot”, but he never said anything. He never really had the opportunity to explore his sexuality; between school, working at the graveyard, and hiding from his dad, he never really thought about it, and becoming a werewolf only added to the drama
it ended up being Erica who brought it up. It started off as a joke, just a light-hearted comment at Derek’s bus/den/hideout (literally what is that place?)
it was late, but close to the full moon. They were all way too antsy to sleep, which lead to an interesting round of late night confessions.
they cycled through the expected ones; Erica’s epilepsy, Boyd’s social anxiety, and before long they realised they all had a bit more in common than they had first realised.
that’s when Erica flippantly said “y’know, I think we would have made a pretty hot couple” “couple? Which one of us” Boyd questioned, looking between Isaac and Erica. “All three of us, duh” “oh.........oh”
and the rest is history
that was actually one of the only good parts of being with Derek, since it became kind of reminiscent of his time with his dad. He though life would get better once he left, but it was all pretty similar, what with the broken bones and emotional abuse
going with Scott was the best decision he ever made, although it’s not like he actually had much choice with Derek kicking him out the loft
for the first time ever, he actually felt like he had a home
I can’t help but feel like he was one of those kids that would just absolutely light up whenever something mundane happened
like, a bumble bee flying past him, or finding the park full of small daisies
when he was really young, his mum taught him how to make daisy chains, and he made one for everyone in his family
his dad ended up throwing his away, claiming “boys don’t play with flowers”, which resulted in an argument between him and his mum
whenever their parents would argue, Isaac’s older brother would distract him, either with a new video game, or the cool tree they could climb in the back garden
when their mum died, everything changed. Cam went to the army, and his dad...well, we know what his dad did
Cam coming home every now and then was some of the only relief Isaac had from his father. His dad wouldn’t try anything when he knew Cam was there
when Cam then died too, Isaac spent more time in that tree in the garden, but he no longer picked daisies
I think it’s only when he’s older and living in France, that he walks past a flower stall, and stops to buy a small bunch of daisies to put in his window at home
almost like some kind of memorial. A monument to his survival despite everything
And I think I'll leave it there for now!! Sorry it got a bit angsty at the end there, but I hope you enjoyed it regardless. I want to write another list like this one soon, but with exam season coming up, it might take a little while. Feel free to send me some suggestions though and I'll check them when I can!!

I'm Not Afraid | Chapter 12
Tumblr media
Word Count: 4.5K
Story Description: (Y/N) Argent arrived at Beacon Hills to put to rest her father’s sister, Kate Argent. For the first time, her family has decided to settle down and sustain a life in this interesting small town. After 17 years, (Y/N) has the opportunity to establish interpersonal relationships but will she be ready to face the complications that come with relating to her cousin’s, Allison, friends; especially, the infamous Derek Hale. She will face the adventure of being associated with the Derek and McCall pack, as well as being faced with the discovery of certain aspects of her life she never imagined.
A/N:  sorry this update took so long. It's sometimes hard to try an work around all the inconsistencies of the canon plot and it kills my inspo. But enjoy! 💖💖
<- Previous | Next ->
Tumblr media
Outside the warehouse, (Y/N) could feel the loud music bustling its way through the walls. It made her pulse beat at time with the tempo. She could feel the bass of the music pumping inside her, building the nervous excitement that she already felt. She was ready to make herself nonexpendable to both Derek and her family. All she wanted was to prove just how great of an asset she could be.
Her parents had been training her for as long as she could remember. Using the “it's a tough world out there” excuse for it, they had submitted her to hours and hours of self-defense and weapon training. (Y/N) knew she was good enough to be put on the front lines of this war, even if no one believed in her.
It all made her miss her parents. For the longest time, they were the only constants in her life. The only people she could get close to without fearing that she would lose them. They had been her biggest supporters and she needed their vote of confidence now more than ever. She needed to feel like at least one person was in her corner.
(Y/N) saw Isaac and a disgruntled Erica, joining their side before they entered.
“So, what’s the plan?”
“Shouldn’t you already know?” Erica scoffs. “Although, I wonder which version you’re asking for. Our plan or your family’s?”
“Lay off, Erica,” Isaac grumbled. “All I know is that we need to find Jackson and stop him from getting his next victim.”
“And how exactly are you going to do that?” (Y/N) asked. “Last time I checked he has a paralyzing venom and superhuman strength.”
“Element of surprise?” the blond chuckled. “Look, we still need to meet up with Scott. It’s his plan after all.”
“Fine. Then let’s go.”
The three of them walked into the building. The stench of sweat and alcohol filled her nose, every one of her senses telling her to turn back around. But not even her fight-or-flight response would keep her from helping that night. She would be respected –one way or another.
(Y/N) followed Isaac and Erica into the rave, even as her limbs begged her to turn back. And maybe she should have listened. The flashing lights and the thumping bass strangled her but her mind had been made up. They would get Jackson that night, no matter what.
Their eyes followed the crowd, their heads in full alert. Everything they did could only end one of two ways –trapping Jackson or another death in their hands. And deep down. (Y/N) wanted to be the one to do it. It would be her only chance to show everyone what she was made of.
“(Y/N), why didn’t you tell me that Allison was going to be here?” Scott questioned as he joined the trio, worry evident in his eyes. “More than that, that your family is here?”
“I told Derek,” she defended herself. “I thought he would have told you too. I promise this wasn’t meant to be an ambush, Scott. Next time I’ll tell you myself.”
“No, it’s okay,” he sighed. “It’s just that seeing Allison here took me aback. I didn’t think I would have to worry about her tonight.”
“I am sorry, Scott. I thought after this morning you might have already known how big our family’s involvement had gotten.”
“Seriously, (Y/N), it’s okay,” he smiled reassuringly. “But I want to make sure things go on without a hitch. So, Isaac, I’m gonna need you to tranquilize Jackson.”
Scott pulled out a silver tranquilizer gun, presenting it to a surprised blond. “Why me?” he questioned, doubt clouding his eyes.
“Because I gotta make sure the Argents don’t completely ruin the plan. Okay, you better do it intravenously which means in the vein. When you find him, you pull back on this plunger right here. In the neck is probably going to be the easiest. So you find a vein, you jam it in there, and pull back on the trigger.”
“Don’t you think I’m the better choice here?” (Y/N) interjected, her hushed voice hiding her anger. “I’m the only one here that we know is immune to Jackson’s venom.”
“You also don’t heal like we do,” Scott responded. “It’s not that I don’t trust you with this, (Y/N). But the less people that get hurt, the better.”
The girl was sure her face was growing red, anger bubbling deep inside her. One more person to add to the people that did not believe in her. “Fine,” she said. “But I’m staying close by and I’m not taking no for an answer.”
“That’s alright,” he smiled weakly. “Just be careful.”
“Oh, I doubt this will even slightly hurt him,” Isaac laughed, inspecting the small gun.
“No, I mean you,” Scott explained, his eyes trained on the blond. “I don’t want you to get hurt. Any of you.”
As the shaggy-haired boy left, Isaac followed him with his gaze. There was surprise in his blue eyes and a slight hint of confusion. “You okay?” (Y/N) asked her friend.
“Yeah, I just… he cares.”
“Of course he does,” she smiled. “Why wouldn’t he?”
“I don’t know. I guess, I’m still not used to people caring,” he said sheepishly before slipping on his confident façade as Erica joined them. “Okay, so, me and Erica will distract him. I’ll tranquilize him and you make sure no one sees us carrying him out.”
“Sounds like a plan,” Erica responded. “Too bad you’re missing out on the action, (Y/N).”
And where the Argent girl would have normally bitten back, she remained quiet because the blonde was right. She was missing out. Because her family didn’t trust her and neither did her friends. Even under the guise that they were just trying to protect her, she knew it was because they didn’t think she could do it. That she couldn’t pull her weight.
But instead of sulking, (Y/N) followed them to where Jackson was already prowling. The dance floor was packed with sweaty bodies, pushing against each other, leaving very little room to work around. They justled around, fists pumping and elated smiles on their faces. Too enthralled and oblivious to know what was happening right under their noses. These people were at a party with no knowledge that two killers walked amongst them.
Erica was the first to reach Jackson, snaking her hand around his neck to attract his attention in a sultry manner. Then, Isaac joined them, pretending to be just as interested in Erica as Jackson seemed to be. They were at a party, (Y/N) thought. That was what people did at parties.
They grind against one another, pretending there’s some sort of instant connection that could get them lucky that night. Call it pheromones or call it hornyness, most of the people in her vicinity were falling victim in that game. And it made her wonder, that maybe with the right person, she could also be one of those victims. She could imagine that she was just a normal teenager, enjoying a loud and flashy rave, waiting for the moment the guy she was with would kiss her.
But (Y/N) wasn’t there with anyone and she wasn’t normal. She hadn’t even been born into normal. No, she was there making sure Jackson didn’t turn into a bloodthirsty reptilian and off his master’s next victim before Isaac could knock him out. As Isaac and Erica closed the distance between their bodies and Jackson’s, the blond boy pulled out the tranq gun, ready to make his attack.
And Jackson noticed. He sported his Kanima nails and sunk them into the pair’s stomachs, muttering something she couldn’t quite decipher. Isaac and Erica twisted in pain, the gun falling from the boy’s hand as he groaned in discomfort and dropped to the floor.
(Y/N)’s eyes were focused on the silver gadget on the floor, close to being trampled by the moving bodies. That was her moment and she would take it. Rather than helping her friends, she dove for it, gliding through the crowd to get to it.
She heard Isaac telling her to stay back, but the adrenaline was already pumping through her veins. She was capable, she repeated to herself. (Y/N) needed to get the tranquilizer and stop Jackson from getting to his victim. Once in her hands, her palms trembled at how cold it was; heavier than she had thought too. But it was there, and she had the power to stop him.
(Y/N) stalked quietly toward him. His eyes were trained directly in front, too distracted to think that she could be right behind him. And she knew she had to be quick. One wrong move and everything would have been for nothing. Without another grueling thought, she pressed against him and sank the needle in his neck, pulling the trigger as she felt it disappear into his skin.
What she didn’t account for was his weight falling completely onto her. She tried her hardest to keep him up, but it wouldn’t take long before his body would bring them both to the ground.
“That was a very dumb thing you did, (Y/N),” Isaac said as he took Jackson in his arms.
“But I got it done,” she smirked. “Now, let’s get him out of here.”
Between him and Erica, they carried Jackson’s unconscious body out of the dance floor and into a small room where they were supposed to wait for Stiles and Scott. The tension inside was thick, choking to the point that it was almost unbearable. The Reyes girl was angry that she had failed to do her task and that (Y/N) had jumped in to save the day. Meanwhile, Isaac was angry that she had gotten herself into a dangerous situation.
“You can’t seriously be angry at me, Lahey,” she whispered to her friend. “I did what I had to do to get him here.”
“And what would you have done if you hadn’t?”
“Something we won’t know because I did, Isaac,” she retorted sternly. “Contrary to popular belief, I am capable of a lot more than any of you give me credit for. Even for a human.”
“The problem is you are a human, (Y/N). You can get hurt and there will be a time that we won’t be able to help you.”
“And that’s a risk I am willing to take. Just like all of you are.”
Before Isaac could answer, the door swung open, putting the two werewolves on high alert.
“Just me,” he said as he threw his hands up in front of him. “Don’t freak. Is he okay?”
“Well,” Isaac said, his eyes trained on (Y/N). “Let’s find out.”
His claws sprouted from his hand, ready to sink into Jackson as he had done to him minutes before. But he did not get the chance to enact his revenge. Even in his unconscious state, the Whittmore boy was still sentient. His arm flew up, stopping Isaac’s and bending it until he finally released it.
“Okay, no one does anything like that again,” (Y/N) called as Isaac fell back. “So much for not getting hurt?”
“Shut up,” he muttered toward her, inspecting the damage in his hand. “I thought the ketamine was supposed to knock him out.”
“I think this is as good as we’re gonna get,” Stiles said. “So let’s hope that whoever’s controlling him decided to show up tonight.”
“I’m here,” Jackson said, startling everyone in the room. His voice was chilling and devoid of any humanity. “I’m right here with you.”
“Jackson, is that you?” Stiles asked, crouching in front of Jackson’s seemingly tranced body.
“Us,” he responded. “We’re all here.”
“This is getting too ‘We are Legion,’” (Y/N) muttered. “Too biblical for my taste.”
Stiles shushed her before turning back to the knocked-out boy. “Are you the one killing people?”
“We are the ones killing murderers.”
Stiles continued his sleuthing into Jackson’s subconscious, and possibly into who was controlling him. He reiterated everything they already knew. They were killing killers. That much was certain. But they didn’t understand why. Who had they killed that had prompted so much bloodshed?
“They murdered me,” Jackson answered again. His head was trembling as his eyes turned red and yellow, his transformation into the Kanima slowly slipping in. “They murdered me!”
“Okay, more ketamine,” Stiles mumbled. “The man needs more ketamine.”
“It’s all gone,” Isaac answered.
“You used the whole bottle?” (Y/N) exclaimed. “And that didn’t even last.”
Then, Jackson stood snarling at the teens, his head convulsing rapidly as reptilian skin ate at his human one. They stammered out of the room, slamming the metal door behind them. But it wasn’t enough. It never would have been enough. They were dealing with a creature with unparalleled power and speed, and he had one thing to do. Jackson broke through the metal walls, disappearing into the club, and getting lost in the crowd. Everything they had done had been for nothing.
They moved toward the exit, getting trapped between the people that had already grown tired of the party and were leaving. It separated them into pairs. Stiles and (Y/N) were outside first, looking around for any sign that the murder had taken place and that someone else knew. But people milled out of the warehouse as though nothing had happened. As though no one had seen a thing.
“What is that?” (Y/N) questioned, pointing at the black dust that seemed to circle the building. “Planning on building a ring of fire if Jackson escapes?”
“It’s mountain ash,” Stiles whispered as they moved toward his Jeep, a safe distance away from the door. “Supposedly, it keeps supernaturals where they are.”
“How do you know they won’t cross it?”
“We’ll have to see.”
“Hopefully not too late,” she said. But her words died as Derek jogged toward them, a look of worry on his face. His eyes were on her quickly, trying to speak without any words. “Um, we sort of lost Jackson inside.”
“(Y/N)!” Stiles exclaimed at her blurting. “We did. But, uh…”
At that moment, Isaac and Erica walked out, their gaze falling on the black ash. It was as though they were staring at a ten-foot wall in front of them, with no way through. Whatever that powder was, it had worked. Too well.
“I did something!” Stiles celebrated.
“Look at us humans doing something,” (Y/N) smiled. “And still they underestimate us.”
“What did you do?” Derek questioned, turning his attention toward her. “I thought I told you to hang back.”
“You don’t tell me what to do, Derek,” she bit back. “And I did what I had to. Because last time I checked…” Before they could continue arguing, a loud growl broke through the air. (Y/N)’s head snapped toward the sound, somehow knowing who it belonged to. “Scott?” she whispered. “Is that Scott?”
“What?” Stiles questioned her as everyone’s gaze fell on her.
“Break it,” Derek directed. But Stiles refused.
 “Scott’s dying!”
“Wait, what?” Stiles asked her. “How do you know that?”
“Oh, my god, Stiles,” Derek groaned. “Just do it!”
With a wave of his hands, Stiles broke the barrier and Derek ran right through. And before anyone could argue, (Y/N) followed. She didn’t understand why she had been able to hear Scott. All she knew was that she did and she could feel the pain and weakness in his call. He was begging for help and she had been able to listen.
“You should have stayed back,” the man beside her grumbled as they ran to where the growl had come from. “You could get seriously hurt.”
“I want to help, Derek. And I will,” she spoke through gritted teeth as they snaked through bodies in the room. “We have no idea what we’re walking into.”
“Fine,” he responded defeatedly as they reached a door at the back. “Just stay back.”
As he opened it, Scott’s weakened body was strewn on the floor. His face was toward the floor and, without the twitches he made, she would have sworn he was dead. Derek burst in first, swaying as soon as he did.
Suddenly, a flash of red jumped from the darkness beside the door and lunged a knife directly into Derek’s back. Victoria struggled with him, waving the blade as they fought for dominance. Whatever was in the air had weakened him and was making her a worthy adversary.
“Get… Scott,” Derek managed to croak out as he fought the Argent woman, crashing into the wall behind them.
(Y/N) dropped beside the boy, thinking of a way she could carry him out of the room without his help. She started snaking her arms under him, pulling his torso toward her to drag him out. But the little headway she made was destroyed as Derek stumbled onto her, making her fall alongside Scott.
“What the hell?”
“She’s gone,” Derek whispered, his eyes falling to where he had just been fighting with the woman. “Sorry, there’s wolfsbane in the air. It’s making me weaker.”
“It’s fine,” (Y/N) mumbled. “Let’s just get him out of here.”
They draped one arm of his around their shoulders and dragged the boy back to (Y/N)’s car under her instruction. There was no other way they could transport two hurt werewolves any other way. Carefully, they rested his body on the passenger seat before (Y/N) buckled him in.
“Where’s your bike?” Derek mumbled, holding his left arm, and trying to conceal the blood that was rushing out.
“I told Isaac to retrieve it from my uncle’s this afternoon,” she shrugged as she closed the car door behind her. “Something told me the SUV might have been the best bet tonight.”
“Well, I can…” he tried to speak quickly but a wince of pain killed his words. “I can drive. You should get your bike.”
“Isaac’s got it,” she said. “And I need to get the car back to the house somehow.”
“And you trust him with it?”
“As much as you would trust me with your own car,” she retorted. “Now, you’re hurt and clearly still a bit buzzed from the inhaled wolfsbane. So stop arguing.”
“Fine,” he grumbled. “Just don’t kill us before we get there.”
“Can’t make any promises,” she smirked. “Now get into the backseat, sour wolf.”
They drove in silence to the veterinary office, their eyes meeting in passing through the rear-view mirror. There were so many words unsaid between them but too many things had happened that overwhelmed them. One more talk at that very moment and they would probably say something one of them would regret. As much as (Y/N) wanted to talk to him, Derek looked too weak to withstand a screaming match with her.
All the anger she felt toward him dissipated as she saw his head fall back in pain, his wounds not healing as quickly as they should have. At that moment, (Y/N) wanted to comfort him. If it hadn’t been for Scott’s unconscious body on the seat next to her, she would have driven him to her home and taken care of the wounds herself.
Instead, she parked in front of the small veterinary office, where Deaton was waiting for them. He hurried to the passenger side, helping Derek carry Scott into the operating room in the back. They laid the boy on the metal examining table and allowed the doctor to do his work.
“Derek, I’ll get to you as soon as I am done with him,” Alan said. “I just have to make sure his healing starts before any real damage is done to his lungs.”
“I can help him,” (Y/N) offered. “I know enough about first aid to close a couple of cuts.”
“Oh, um, are you sure?” the doctor questioned. “I know he’s in pain, but it’ll only take a couple of minutes.”
“Let her,” Derek groaned. “Anything is better than keeping this wolfsbane inside.”
“Alright then,” the man conceded before handing (Y/N) a medicine cup filled with a black powder. “Make sure you place this directly on the wounds before you close them.”
Deaton handed (Y/N) a tray of supplies and a pair of gloves and showed them to his smaller check-up room as he tended to Scott. The two kept quiet during every step. As Derek removed his shirt and (Y/N) washed her hands, as she wiped away the blood that stuck to his skin and pressed the powder into the stab wounds, as she sutured the cuts and bandaged them. All quiet.
“Thank you,” Derek croaked as he broke the silence. “For everything you’ve done tonight.”
“Well, I couldn’t very well leave you guys to die because of my family,” she shrugged. “I’m doing what anyone would have done.”
“I don’t think anyone else from the Argent clan would have saved us.”
“Well, they don’t count as anyone,” she chuckled. As he tried to join her in laughter a wince fell out of his mouth as he moved his arm too fast. “How bad does it hurt?”
“Better now,” he sighed, sinking into the chair he was in. “I want to apologize, (Y/N). When you called, I never meant to make you feel like you weren’t capable.”
“You don’t ha…”
“I do, (Y/N). You have to know that what I said was because I can’t see you get hurt. I spoke rashly and I need you to understand that I didn’t mean it. You’re more than able to do everything we can do, I just can’t bear if something happened to you because of it.”
“Sooner or later, everyone will just have to accept the fact that I am a part of this world and that I can help in ways others can’t,” she responded as she sat beside him. “I just want to feel like I am valuable to the pack and not just another human you need to protect. I know there are things I can bring to the table that no one else can.”
“Like how you were able to not only hear Scott’s howl but to know that he was hurt,” he said. “Or how you never crossed the mountain ash threshold.”
“What’re you talking about, Derek? I heard Scott’s howl because it was loud and I didn’t cross the line because I had no need to,” (Y/N) chuckled. “Nothing else is happening there.”
“I don’t think that’s true, (Y/N). You’re different somehow, and I’m sure there are other unexplainable things that have happened to you. I mean, you’re even immune to the Kanima’s venom for some reason.”
(Y/N) kept quiet because it was true. Just like she had felt that Deaton was more than he led on or how she simply knew that Scott was dying. It was something that had happened to her over the years. Sometimes, she just felt things. But she didn’t know how to explain it to Derek. She was probably different, but she didn’t know why or how.
“Don’t know what you want me to say, Derek,” she sighed. “If I am anything other than human, my parents have not told me and I haven’t found out. But I would rather talk about anything else. Please, no more unexplainable things.”
“Alright,” he smiled softly, the only thing he could muster with the pain. But his smile didn’t last long, his face falling into a worried frown. “Something happened tonight when I was struggling with your aunt.”
Her eyes fell on his, questioning the dread that befell on his face. “What happened, Derek?”
“I bit her as we fought,” he confessed, his gaze falling to his bandaged arm. “I-I… I thought it was the only way she would let me go and I simply did it.”
“Derek, you did what you had to do,” she replied, placing a hand on his arm. “Whatever happens next, it’s not your fault.”
The man sighed before he continued, roaming his eyes over her hand. “Do you know what hunters do when they are bit or scratched deep enough?” When she shook her head no, he continued. “They kill themselves. Rather than accepting the change, they choose death over becoming one of us.”
“And did you? Bite her deep enough?”
“I did,” he admitted. “I did and now…”
“It’s still not your fault,” she reassured. “My family is so scared of becoming a werewolf that they’ve become monsters themselves. To choose death over a life like this, I think it’s cowardice. And that’s on them.”
“Why do you think so differently? I don’t think I’ve ever met a hunter, let alone an Argent, that thinks like you.”
“My father. Something tells me my father cares more about werewolves than he lets on,” she smiled. “But he’s on your side just as much as I am. And if it’s ever necessary, he’d help you as much as I would.”
“Two Argent hunters choosing the supernatural side over their family. Never thought I would see the day,” he laughed, the tension leaving his shoulders with every chuckle. “How did it take this long for our paths to cross?”
(Y/N) smiled at him; grateful the conversation was finally shifting. “Well, I’ve been all over the country and there’s a couple of years of difference between us,” she stated teasingly. “I’m sure that’s why it took so long.”
“But you’re here now,” he said, his eyes falling to her lips for a second.
“I am,” she grinned, slowly leaning toward him. “I am right here, right now.”
“Good,” he smiled, inching closer and closer.
But a knock rang through the room and their eyes snapped to the open door. Deaton stood by the doorway, a knowing smile on his face. “I wanted to let you know that Scott’s awake,” he said. “And I know you’re recovering, but I do have to wake up early in the morning.”
“Of course,” Derek responded. “Thank you.”
As soon as the doctor left, the pair broke into quiet laughter. The universe had stopped them once again and she didn’t know if fate was trying to keep them apart or make them work for it. It had also become cruel how many times they had been so close to kissing before they were interrupted.
“We could just get it out of the way,” she offered. Her head fell onto his shoulder. Looking at his face was temptation enough. “Maybe the next time no one will walk in; finally break this curse.”
“No, (Y/N),” he sighed with a smile. “If we’re doing this, we’re doing this right. Not rushed or just to get over it.”
“Fine,” she whined. “I guess you’re not going to jail tonight.”
“That’s good to know,” he chuckled. “But it is time for all of us to go home. Unfortunately, none of this is over yet.

Erica: If you are afraid of clowns, why did you marry Stiles?
Stiles: really-?
Derek: I became afraid of clowns after marrying him.
Stiles: Derek-!
Isaac: Fair.
Boyd: *nods in understanding*
Stiles: ...I hate you all.

Okay but... Stiles has a younger sister and Derek doesn't remember this fact, so when Stiles has to skip a pack meeting because his sister is sick and he wants to take care of her, he asks everyone "Where's Stiles? He's never late for the meetings."
Erica answers "His little sister is sick, he's taking care of her." and Derek's just like "Uh? Stiles has a sister?" and Lydia is like "Have you been living under a rock?! His sister is basically ALL Stiles can talk about!" Derek shrugs and says "I honestly thought that it was his cat, dog, whatever." Isaac bursts into a laugh and is lost for everyone, Erica soon follows with Lydia not much behind. The only one who manages enough control to ask a "You thought his SISTER was his PET?!" is Boyd but he soon follows the rest of the Pack on the laughing party. Derek just wants to bury his head into the ground and never get it out.

Mischief and Angel- Part 1
Tumblr media
"Babe!"
Nothing, nothing but silence which has me groaning, "Mischief, we have school!" He mumbles something that even werewolf hearing can't pick up and I frown as I kneel on the bed beside him, "Stilesss! Pleaseeee, I don't wanna take a shower alone."
I smirk when the response is almost instant, "Hmm, wait, what? Did you say shower?" I raise and eyebrow and peer down at his squinty eyes, "Depends, think you can fuck me in ten minutes so we aren't late for school?"
---------------------------------------
Stiles in fact did not need ten minutes, he had me writhing and whining in two and cumming in four. He knows my body better than I do and that damn mating bite is so sensitive that he breathes on it and I'm reduced to a whimpering mess. God, I can't wait until his is healed enough that he gets the same pleasure, I'm going to tease the hell out of him.
I smile as he opens the passenger door to his jeep before picking me up and setting me on the ground, "Ready to show off that pretty new ring of yours, Angel?"
I glance down at the sparkling diamond resting on my rings finger before humming happily, "Mhmm, gotta ask the girls about bridesmaids and listen to them argue over who's maid of honor. My money's on Lyds."
He chuckles and kisses my cheek, "You do love your drama don't ya?"
I smile cheekily before giving him a quick kiss, "Alright, ready? If Coach sees the ring the whole school will know we're getting married before it's even lunchtime." He grabs my bag off the floorboard and swings it over his shoulder, "I don't care, I'll scream it from the rooftops. We're living together, buying a house together, and mated to each other, not to mention Dad and Melissa are probably telling everybody they see that their babies are getting married."
I snort and interlace our fingers together as we walk towards the main entrance of the school, "I'm gonna bet the whole hospital knows by now, as well as the police station. I think those two were more excited than we are." Stiles scoffs, "Hell no. Been thinking about that day for years Angel, years."
I squeeze his hand as we walk in the school and whisper, "So, when are we telling the rest of the pack? We should do it first, before the rest of the school finds out." He nods and grabs his phone with his free hand, "I'll message them to meet us in the library after first period since we all have a free second period, the perks of being a senior."
-------------------------------------------
As we walk into the library Scott wrinkles his nose and groans, "Oh God, you two smell!" I scowl at Scott as Stiles looks confused and a little hurt, "What?" I growl at Scott, "We're supposed to dipshit! Goddamn, you act like you and Kira don't constantly reek of sex."
I can feel the light amusement coming through Stiles' bond as Lydia smirks, "Oh, I like this new Y/N, what happened to change your attitude? Did he fuck you that good?"
All the boys make varying degrees of disgusted faces and/or noises but the girls look like they want details. They'll be getting those after school, during lacrosse practice, when I'm not drooling over Stiles' ass.
I give Lydia a look that says I'll tell you later and she nods with a small smirk, "Alright, moving on, what's up with the meeting lovebirds? Decide that you're mated so you're moving or something?"
Stiles and I glance at each other because they technically aren't wrong, they just don't have all the details and we don't get a chance to give them the details before Lydia straightens her posture, "Please tell me you aren't moving."
I lay my bag on a nearby table before tilting my head in a so-so manner, "We are, just not for a little while and we'll be staying in Beacon Hills, maybe Beacon Valley if we find a nice house but that won't be for a few months still." Lydia lets out a small sigh of relief before raising on of her perfectly shaped eyebrows, "Then what's this about?"
I hold up my left hand letting the sun reflect off of the diamond and all the werewolves cower because the girls scream. Even Stiles winces and steps a little closer to me as if they're a threat, new instincts, it'll take a little while before we fully relax around them again. I don't get a chance to say anything because I'm being bombarded by four squealing and excited girls and I can feel the unease flowing through Stiles. I look at him and give him a small smile, "It's alright Mischief, I'm okay."
At my words the girls step away and Kira's eyes widen, "Oh no, did we do something that we weren't supposed to? I forgot that things are different now with the whole mating thing." The girls nod in agreement with her statement which causes me to smile, "No, no, it's okay, we all have a few things to learn, which is another reason for the impromptu meeting."
When we're all scattered around a table in the corner I'm sitting on Stiles' lap running my hand through his hair to help comfort him as he rubs my back. I shift to get a little more comfortable and look around the table, "Okay, there are a few new things that came from the mating process. First things first, if we aren't together we'll be extra irritable unless we're with pack, then we'll just be mopey. Next thing is important, at least for the next week or so, we're on edge around everybody and perceive them as possible threats so when there is sudden movement or loud noises directed at one of us the hackles on the other raises, quite literally. Even with Scott it took the whole weekend before we would leave each other alone with him. Which is ridiculous by the way!"
I give Stiles a look and he sinks back in his seat slightly remembering Sunday morning after family breakfast when Scott and I were doing the dishes together and Stiles lost his mind, that was an interesting conversation with Mom. After like five minutes, and she got over the broken plate, she was in hysterics at the hilarity of the situation. I had been a little peeved at Stiles but less than an hour later him and Scott were playing video games and I got territorial when they reached for the chips at the same time and Scott smacked his hand away, that resulted in a broken vase and a very loud growl. Sunday was definitely a learning curve which resulted in a few things breaking and a very horny Stiles more than once.
I nuzzle Stiles' cheek with a small whine, "'S okay, not mad." Stiles practically melts under me and the girls coo over how cute we are. "Literally so jealous. Why can't I have a mate? I want to snuggle and read his mind?" I glance at Kira and chuckle, "We can't read each other's minds Kira, we can feel each other's emotions though."
She nods and I continue explaining our new lives once everyone has stopped cooing over Stiles and I, "Okay moving on, we got engaged the morning after we got to the cabin, thanks by the way Lyds," She gives a small nod as I continue, "So, now we have to plan the wedding and decide all that jazz but we're also going to start house hunting and see if we find anything that we like, and as of right now I'm living with Stiles at his Dad's house."
I take a breath and Stiles pointedly looks at the wolves, "Speaking of there is now mountain ash lining my window so STAY OUT, or use the damn door, that's kind of what it's there for. We're also changing the doorknob on my room so that it locks so for the love of god, if you decide to come in the front without knocking don't come barreling into my room because you'll break the door down and I can't promise that you won't be scarred for the rest of your life."
They nod in agreement before Erica smirks, "What if I want to barge into your room and see?" I roll my eyes and kick her leg since she's sitting beside Stiles and I, "Don't be such a perv Erica, god you need to get laid. So does Boyd, there, problem solved, Boyd, Erica, you're going on a date tonight." Erica stares at me wide eyed and Boyd raises an eyebrow which has me continuing, "She'll be ready by 6 tonight, take her somewhere nice. And Erica, play nice."
Boyd shrugs and nods while Erica blushes at the prospect of going on a date with her crush and I clasp my hands together, "Alright, girls, I assume you guys agree to be bridesmaids? You can decide who's maid of honor because I love you all equally."
They all perk up and nod as Lydia declares, "I'll be maid of honor." At this Allison scoffs, "No, I am." I smile and lean into Stiles enjoying the show, "Hell no, I've known her longer!"
"Bullshit, I dated her brother!"
"Key word, dated, as in past tense!"
"Oh please, it doesn't change the fact we were like sisters!"
"Ha, right, and the friendship her and I have had for 15 years is of no importance? Hell, I was the one that finally got Stiles to ask her out, and I provided the cabin where they got engaged!"
Allison rolls her eyes and matches Lydia's glare, "Yeah, well I gave her advice on sex."
I raise an eyebrow at this knowing Allison just set herself up for failure and I'm proven right by Lydia, "Uh huh, right. I was the one who bought her, her first box of condoms, I'm the one that gave her tips on how to give good head, and not to mention I bought her a pregnancy test when she was pregnant! Bet you didn't know that!"
At the last part I tense up and hiss, "SHUT UP!" Her eyes widen as she shrinks down into her seat but the damage is already done. I feel Stiles stiffen under me and feel the myriad of emotions course through my veins as he croaks, "What?"
I whine at the sadness and the small amount of anger that I can feel coming from him, "Maybe we should go somewhere else and talk about this." He jerkily nods as he helps me off his lap, "Yeah, clearly we have a few things to talk about."
---------------------------------------
I bounce my leg up and down in the passenger seat of the jeep as Stiles stares at me expectantly, "What did she mean?"
I squeeze my eyes shut at a loss for words and Stiles whispers, "She said when you were pregnant, not when you thought you were pregnant. Did she...were you?"
I sniffle and nod slowly and whisper softly, "Yeah."
Stiles' hands clench on his lap as he lets out a slow breath, "What happened? Why didn't you tell me?"
I blink back tears thinking back to the emotions I felt in that moment before I make eye contact with him, "I-I was pregnant and I didn't tell you because-because I didn't have a chance to and then it hurt too much to talk about it."
He furrows his eyebrows in confusion before realization crosses his features, "Miscarriage." It wasn't a question but I nodded anyways as I struggle to hold back tears. He leans back in his seat processing before he looks back at me, "How far along were you?"
I twirl the ring on my finger before shrugging, "I-I'm not sure but I think I was close to six weeks when I found out and I wanted to tell you, but I was scared, Stiles, I didn't know what to do. I was scared and I had just turned 16 and we hadn't really discussed kids in detail you know? When I finally realized it wouldn't effect how we feel about each other, I was planning this cute way of telling you but...god this hurts."
I tilt my head back as the tears start to overflow, and choke down a sob, "I was going to tell you on Saturday...I miscarried on Friday."
I take in a shaky breath but when Stiles grabs my hand in comfort and I feel his worry and concern through the bond, the dam breaks. I let the tears flow as I crawl over the seat to straddle Stiles' lap until I was buried in his chest, "I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry! I couldn't, it hurt, it still hurts. I-I didn't know how t-to tell you and I didn't even want to remember, so I tried to f-forget about it."
He wraps his arms around me and pulls me close as he murmurs in my hair, "It's okay, it's alright, shh." I shudder with a small sob as he rubs my back, "I'm sorry."
He settles a hand in my hair as he rests his chin on the top of my head, "It's okay, Angel, it's okay. I'm not mad, I'm just hurt you didn't tell me."
The minutes tick by, the silence filled by soft sobs and even softer whispers. When I calm down and pull back I look Stiles in the eye noticing the slight wetness of his own cheeks, "No, Mischief, you're allowed to be mad, you're supposed to be mad. I-I lied to you, I never even told you. Mischief, be mad, be angry, yell or cry or something."
He shakes his head, "No, me being angry and yelling isn't going to do anything except make us both feel worse. Yeah, you lied, and I'm a little annoyed about it, but at the same time I understand why you didn't tell me. I can't even imagine, Jesus, Angel, I'm more upset you went through it alone than you not telling me. You, you were pregnant, with a baby that you wanted, and you find out and then you lose it. Y/N, that's punishment enough, me making you feel bad does nothing for anyone. Plus I can feel the pain you're in right now and it's excruciating, that's why I'm not mad. If it hurts like this after it's been what, a year, I can't even fathom the pain it caused when it happened."
I bury my face in his neck as I tighten my hold on him, "I-I almost told you, at the cabin. After we mated and we were laying in bed and talking about my wolf wanting a baby. I almost told you, it was on the tip of my tongue but I couldn't, it's like every time I thought about it, I felt physical pain."
He nods and rubs his knuckles across my jaw before cupping my cheek, "I know, I can feel it, I can feel you. I'm glad I know now but I think it's best if we move on, not forget about it but call it done and dealt with. I know now and that's really the only important thing now and I don't want to keep talking about it if it's going to make you feel like this. And if you want to wait before we have kids that's o-."
"NO! No, I don't want to wait. I mean I want to wait until we've at least graduated but once we're married, I don't really have a reason to not have kids. I want them, I've always wanted to have your children, with your whiskey amber eyes and mole doted skin and your cute little nose. They'll be adorable."
He blushes a deep shade of red as he clears his throat, "Funny, I wanted them to have your hair, and eyes, and skin tone, and humor, and brains."
I raise an eyebrow and snort at his last comment, "Right, it's not like their daddy has a 3.9 gpa and a 10 on the sarcasm scale, which I haven't decided if I want our kids to have or not. Teenage years will be hell."
He rolls his eyes and scoffs, "I don't know what you're talking about, my teenage years are not hell thank you very much. I am a fantastic son."
I lean back and deadpan, "Uh huh, you sure were the perfect son when you would sneak out to fuck your girlfriend that no one knew you had. Oh, oh, not to mention all those nights you spend in the woods fighting something with glowing eyes and razor sharp teeth and proceeded to lie about it. Also the fact that you never leave well enough alone and almost got killed, repeatedly. Did I mention that you started sneaking out at the age of 15 to have sex?"
He blinks a few times and nods, "Okay, you have a point. We should probably pray they're more like you."
I bark out a laugh, "HA, right! Are you forgetting who encouraged you to sneak out to have sex at 15, spends the night in the woods helping you fight something with glowing eyes and razor sharp teeth, and helped you hide the fact that you were dating and boning your best friends sister."
He grabs my hips and lets out a disheartened sigh, "We're screwed."
I nod despite myself because holy hell, our kids are going to be little terrors.

When we get to Econ Coach is digging through papers on the desk mumbling about stupid kids and Greenburg. Stiles takes a seat and I slide in right beside him chuckling as he quickly places a hand on my thigh, because of the constant need to touch.
When Coach finally looks up he perks up when he sees us before loudly speaking, "Stilinski! Y/L/N! Glad to see you two are back and not dead in a ditch somewhere! Where'd you run off to, France or somethin'?"
I snort and mumble 'or somethin' as I squeeze Stiles' hand silently giving him permission, which he takes, "Nah, nice little cabin in the woods, had to romance her to get to agree to marry me. Worked in my favor though."
Everyone's jaws dropped, except for the few members of the pack, before Coach comes over and slaps Stiles on the back, "Good to know you can do one thing right Stilinski! Congratulations, and I ain't comin' to the wedding unless there's alcohol."
I smile up at Coach and shrug, "Sorry Coach, only gonna be 18, no alcohol." Coach grumbles and stalks to the front, "That ain't a wedding, that's a funeral. No alcohol, stupidest thing I ever heard."

California. Somewhere they hadn't visited in the last five months, yet the house still felt just as familiar and welcoming, a warm hug in the freezing cold weather. The two spare bedrooms had been vacated of its usual occupants, which included anything that had stepped foot through the door and had been shoved in there for safe keeping— in other words, to never be used again.
There was playful shouting coming from the kitchen of the McCall residence, rain pattering softly against the window. It was January fifth, the evening before the three teenagers had to venture back to school after spring break. For Jade and Max Pierce, their first day was daunting upon them, the reality starting to hit. Being the new kids on the block wasn't easy, especially not when people had already formed their cliques and were determined to shun anyone who tried to interfere.
"You're a cheater! Nope, you're a cheater, you counted that wrong!" Jade pointed an accusing finger at her cousin as she counted out her money another time, leaning across the table.
Monopoly was a competitive game in the household, everyone desperate to have the glory of winning—that was, if Max didn't get bored and decide to quit halfway through. Lasting an hour and a half was a new record, the unusual thing being that no one had flipped the board yet and then stormed off in a huff, returning with a box of cookies as a peace offering.
"You conned me out of my money!" Scott yelled back, the corners of his lips tugging up into a smile as he gestured for his mother to side with him. This was why he never played with his family; the whole lot of them were cheaters! It was even worse when Sean and Elizabeth joined in on summer holidays, teaming up to bankrupt everyone on the board.
He knew that his cousins were taking the loss of their parents a lot harder than what they were making it out, but he hadn't wanted to pry. The pair had been living with him for the last two weeks, and considering their parents had left Melissa as their legal guardian, it was looking like a full-time thing.
Even though they had been brought together through a heartbreaking loss, it was still nice to have Max and Jade back. Seeing them every summer just wasn't enough, yet maybe seeing them every day would make them hate each other. Although, he couldn't see that happening; the three of them had been best friends since they were toddlers and a bond like theirs wouldn't be broken that easily.
On the subject of people hiding their grief, his mom fit right into that category, too. She was trying to be strong for the three of them, but they all knew that she was in excruciating pain. She cried late at night sometimes, when she thought no one could hear her. They could, though, as clear as day, her muffled sobs in her pillow as she mourned the loss of her brother.
Well, her adoptive brother, but she didn't see it that way. They had grown up together, squabbled like normal siblings, Sean had walked Melissa down the aisle in their father's place. All of that 'blood is thicker than water' was bullshit. Family wasn't defined by blood, not in the slightest. Family was the people who were always there for you, the people who would get on stage and dance with you because you didn't have a partner, the people who never gave up on you. The people who loved you for you, not for some fake version of yourself that was created to fit in and to please the people around you.
"She gave you the right amount, you just can't count," Melissa covered her mouth with her cards as she laughed lightly, nudging her son gently in the side to show she was only joking.
The night aimed to have some fun and forget about their troubles for as long as humanly possible, while simultaneously not upsetting anyone. Believe it or not, but when the three kids were as sensitive as they were, both goals overlapped, making it hard to do the two at once.
Max pumped his fist in the air in triumph, wiggling around in his chair. "You don't have enough to pay us, so we want your dark blue property and you can be debt free," he challenged, small tufts of brown hair peeking out as his head moved up and down, eyes drifting from the board to his cards and back.
Technically speaking, they were Jade's cards, but he had gone bankrupt and teamed up with her. It beat being cooped up in his room and having a panic attack, thanks to everyone's anxiety piling on top of him.
He hadn't yet learnt how to control his empath abilities, hoping that it would kick in on instinct if he was put through enough mental and physical torture. He didn't even know where he was supposed to start, let alone get it under control!
Did he start by trying to compile a list of things that he could do with these newfound powers? Or by thinking back on memories of his dad's experiences? Perhaps by reaching out to other empaths? He hadn't the foggiest, and frankly, it was the least of his worries right now.
Melissa didn't have enough to pay off her debt, being the next one to get kicked out of the game. Leaning back against the countertop as she raised a cold glass of water to her lips, she couldn't help but feel pity form in her chest.
She didn't know if she could be the one to look after these kids. It wasn't that they were bad, actually quite the opposite. She was honestly worried that she couldn't give them what they needed— not physically, but emotionally. A roof over their heads, food on the table and financial stability she could just barely provide. But emotionally, the pair seemed rightfully traumatised by the car accident.
They tried to mask it as well as they could, but every now and then their façade slipped. Sometimes it was just a glimmer in their eyes, a far away look, as if they were being forced to watch a repeated nightmare on loop. Other times it was more extreme, like the full-blown panic attacks when there was a speed bump on the road.
But it wasn't only that. She knew some of their personality traits were a bit extreme, but couldn't tell if it was something to watch out for or a cry for help. For example, how Max always joked about being an orphan and played all his feelings off with humour. Maybe it was a way to cope, she wasn't too sure. It worried her nonetheless. Or how Jade relied so heavily on validation from everyone around her and was constantly pushing herself to ridiculous limits to try and please them. It was just... it was a lot.
When her eyes travelled to Scott not being able to breathe from laughing so hard, or how the twins were finally smiling for the first time since they had arrived, she couldn't find it in her heart to kick them out. She refused to give up hope, repeating her promise to Elizabeth and Sean like a mantra in her head. She wouldn't leave them cold, abandoned and hurt, wondering what they had done wrong. She wasn't going to give up on them, not after so many people had already deemed them as too difficult and left.
Because the truth was that they weren't difficult. They were brilliant, creative and bright sixteen-year-olds who had shining futures ahead of them. Scott would go to the college of his choice and become an amazing vet. Max would excel in psychology— she would hope so, given that he never shut up about it. Jade didn't exactly have her mind set on what she wanted to do yet, but Melissa was sure that whatever it was, she would make it her own, she always did, with everything she did.
Max popped the kettle on, rolling his eyes at Scott and his sister arguing about the game. They were like three-year-olds, yet he wasn't too far off himself. A cloud settled itself over his head once again, the last few remaining sparks of joy fizzling out to nothing. A snake was slithering underneath his skin, desperately trying to find an opening.
Anxiety had been a part of him for so long that he didn't think he could name a time when he wasn't plagued by the overwhelming and crushing dread that crashed like waves against the shore. No matter how many different anxiety medications he took or how many therapies he tried, none of them helped at all.
Jade held the piping hot cup in her hands, resisting the urge to cower away from it. It was as cold as an ice box in the kitchen, the drink bringing some warmth to her body. Yet it didn't soothe the gnawing nervousness in her stomach, the feeling that she was being dragged away from the table, still sitting perfectly normal in her chair and waiting for the others to notice that she was drifting further away from them.
“How are you all feeling about school tomorrow?" Melissa asked, snapping on a pair of yellow rubber gloves as she made a start on the washing up from dinner. Sparks flew from the lamp in the corner of the room, specks of light drifting down to the ground. "What the hell was that?!"
"The lightbulb probably went, that's all," Max shrugged, widening his eyes in warning at Jade while Scott was distracted with a notification on his phone.
Jade covered her hands with the sleeves of her sweater, pressing her lips into a tight line as she tried to breathe evenly. God, she needed to get a grip, not let the emotions get the upper hand. Get some control. In through her nose, out through her mouth. Clench her hands into fists, before relaxing her muscles. "Good," she finally replied, answering the question that her aunt had originally posed. The question that had made her explode— quite literally.
"Good," Scott drawled the word out, rubbing his hands together eagerly, almost as if he was outside in the cold without gloves. He was genuinely really excited to show the twins around the school; even though they had spent every summer in Beacon Hills since they were five, they hadn’t stepped foot inside the high school.
It was a new territory for them and he could imagine they were almost as scared as freshmen on their first days. But lucky for them, he knew all the ins and outs of the place— like how the back seats in the cafeteria were always covered in food, or how their religion teacher was always out on the third Tuesday of the month when she drowned her troubles in alcohol, or how the lacrosse team was one of the best in the local area.
"Feel like I would rather be buried six feet below than enter the place. I'm telling you right now, it's gonna be full of girls who think they own the school, quiet girls, nerds, theatre kids, the jocks and everyone else," Max quipped, raising his hands in surrender when his aunt cast a glare over her shoulder. People didn't appreciate entertainment nowadays, hm?
Jade clapped her hands together, grabbing a cookie from the box on the table and pushing her chair in with her foot, wobbling unsteadily on the other. "Right, I'm off to bed," she mumbled through a mouth full of food, ignoring her soaked hair from her shower dripping down the back of her sweater. Kissing her aunt on the cheek and waving a hand lazily at the boys, she trudged upstairs before slamming the door closed behind her. Phew.
Who knew how much energy playing monopoly would take? Definitely not her. Rubbing her knuckles into her eyes, she flicked her wrist before flopping onto the bed. The contents of the remaining boxes that had remained untouched for the last two weeks flew into their appropriate places. Setting her alarm for early in the morning, she pulled the covers up over her head, refusing to let the thoughts in.
She knew she could only hide for so long but right now, she was okay with that.
